"You're out late to listen to this. I mean I'm not judging guy your own schedule I got mine so we have a jam packed. Show here for you. We have we will be talking about the G. League will the G. League be the end of college basketball as we know it which teams are going to make a splash in the NFL draft. This is going to be a continuation of Arthur of the topic. We talked about on Thursday. We'll also talk about the astros being sued and the NFL virtual draft fan events. We'll see what those are and kind of try to figure out how that would be thing. And of course we'll go navy movies. Nineteen through ten in the top one hundred sports movies list from the athletic. But first we're going to start a little controversial today by that. I mean I'm going to give my opinion. You can agree with it or not. I mean it's fine so tonight is the first two parts of the highly anticipated Chicago Bulls documentary by ESPN which is going to document. Michael Jordan and the Bulls as they go for their six six NBA championship NBA title. And I've seen because of this. I've seen a lot of conversation on twitter on facebook and it's about the same thing that always gets brought up when either Michael Jordan or Lebron brought up at which one is the goat. You have Michael Jordan. I of Lebron. These two guys are both considered the two of the greatest basketball player of all time. And we're we're going to talk about this. We're GONNA talk about that. I WANNA give my opinion on this whole on this whole debate here real quick and just preface this. This is not backed up by any stats. I'm not looking at any staffed right now literally. I'm just looking at the script. I have my timer and I have my work in case the I'm called upon and I need to do something so I'm not looking at any stats right now I might go look up stats during the segment but the most of this is going to be taught my head and mostly opinionated an opinion based instead of fact based or stat base is. GonNa be all opinion. So I've been seeing a lot of people say that scared of Lebron Michael Jordan scared of Lebron ruining his legacy and stuff like that so there there's new story that came out that said Michael Jordan gave the okay for this documentary. Get made right after the Cleveland during the Cleveland Cavaliers Chairmanship Parade in two thousand sixteen. So a lot of people on twitter are using that as a as a as evidence that Michael Jordan scared of Lebron ruining his legacy as the greatest player of all time and stuff like that that I personally believe is absurd. I can see Michael Jordan. Do something like that. Because he's a super competitive guy he he cares and he's not doing so hot as an NBA executive. He was expecting to be like when he took over when he got the Hornets he. He expected he he. He probably had an expectation that like the Hornets were going to be. What pushes them over the edge. The all time basketball great because he was a great player and then he wanted to be a great executive as well. That is not turned out so well so I mean I feel like it's confidence gets kinda down or no not as confidence but his like a little bit tarnished because that but nobody cares about Michael Jordan the executive that care about Michael Jordan D. Player. So people are using this as evidence that Michael Jordan is scared of Lebron and and stuff like that. I just don't see that being thing because there's no reason for Michael Jordan. The only thing that can make people forget about Michael Jordan at this point in time is time itself. That's the only thing I mean happens. There's some all time greats most people these days don't even know about anymore because it's time I mean Michael Jordan though is up there with Babe Ruth. He is synonymous with basketball. You can't talk about basketball you. Can't I learn about basketball without learning Michael Jordan? He is one of those stepping stones. I mean you can talk about Wilt Chamberlain Kareem abdul-jabbar. You can talk about Larry. Bird stuff like that. Michael Jordan's GonNa be included in there as one of the all time greats and as a as a centerpiece. He's going to be the center piece of Basketball. Going forward for everybody. Where like for instance in baseball when you're first learning about baseball about Babe Ruth at some point? That's just how that works. 'cause Babe Ruth is considered the greatest baseball player time. Michael Jordan considered the best basketball player all time. So let's just spilled. I don't think Michael Jordan's worried about Lebron James Now. Of course that could be wrong. I don't know I don't know Michael Jordan personally. But let's get into the actual debate here so I personally believe Michael Jordan deserves the title more than Lebron. And I'm basing it off of this and this thing only Lebron Michael Jordan Malibran. Michael Jordan has more of a cultural influence on the world. He has left more of a cultural influence. And you can tell through. James is trying to do that. Lebron James is trying to gain more cultural influence. But the issue is the world is so globalised and there's just so many facets that people can get entertainment. That's very hard to get into Michael Jordan levels of popularity now. Basically by argument is kind of the Hulk Hogan vs John. Cena argument where when whole Cogan was on top of the world in wrestling wrestling? Was the thing people love wrestling? When Michael Jordan was on top of the world and basketball. Everyone was glued to their televisions to watch the Bulls play to watch Michael Jordan. Played Watch the NBA. Now there's so many different things you don't have to watch Lebron play in might be like I'm going to be honest. I don't think Lebron has had been appointment. Viewing which means you make an appointment. Put it in your calendar or something like that to go. Watch them in the playoffs. Yes but that's the playoffs. People are GonNa Watch the playoffs no matter what people are. GonNa turn into the NBA Finals. No matter what. I'm not tuning into the NBA finals. Just four Lebron. I'm tuning into the because of the NBA finals. I I don't think I ever tuned into a Cleveland. Cavaliers came just to watch Lebron. I mean I'll watch. It was like an interesting match up like the cavs versus warriors of the cavs versus Toronto. War anything like that. But I don't think I ever Tuned into a show. Just Watch Lebron James now. Of course there's people that do do that. There's Lebron James Fans State. Follow him wherever he goes. Where either Cleveland Miami or Los Angeles? Now Lebron with the Miami Heat was appointment viewing but the caveat to that is you had Wade Chris. Bosh I mean they were just a whole different thing over there. And the fact that they only won two championships. I think there would. I mean that's absurd to say that winning two championships is hard enough. But it's absurd to say this but with that team they should have one more than two championships. But then you have Michael Jordan. Who won six? Michael Jordan is so popular in pop. Culture he is completely in everyone's psyche whether it comes to the I like Mike or be like Mike Commercials Air Jordan's for instance Air Jordans are still extremely popular and singer. Culture Jordan fours are still super popular. I mean Lebron has his own shoes but Lebron shoes are nowhere near as popular as the Jordan brand the Jordan brand just in general. I mean every player kinds of has their own brand. Now no you honest. Just got one stuff like that. Lebron has his own one the King James Brand but no none of those brands none other logos or as iconic as the Michael Jordan logo the Air Jordan logo none. None of their shoes are as popular as the Jordan shoes. And of course you had space jam which Lebron James. He's trying to get into Hollywood production. Which goes into the fact that he's trying to get up that pop pop culture clout. There's I mean he's banking space jam too. But I think the whole thing Lebron James Making Space Jam. Two groups that image as the goat. Because O'Brien is trying to make a space jam to to be like Mike at the end of the day whether you think Lebron James the greatest basketball player of all time the end the day he wants to be like Mike so there you have it. I mean like I said that's all opinion based that's not based on stats but from a cultural standpoint also from a basketball standpoint. I mean I've watched highlights of Michael Jordan and Lebron. I wasn't alive during Michael Jordan's main run. You know but when I'm watching Michael Jordan highlights. It is insane. There are two players in the history basketball wherever I watched their highlights. It's just my mind is blown. And that's Larry Bird and Michael Jordan. Lebron I mean yeah. His highlights are pretty great. I mean it's cool stuff. I mean I might be just desensitized by it. Let me think MJ. First Lebron is a heated debate is just GONNA get more heated as we continue through this documentary series but when we come back we'll talk about the G. League. Will it be the end of college basketball as we know it? Are you looking for the very best? Nfl and college football podcast then.

"We have a show today in one hour from now I will give you my mock draft. I twelve picks thought a lot about it my mock draft in one hour. I read everybody else's my former employer doesn't allow their people to have trade in the draft which I think is absurd because I've got a big one which I think is going to happen. Enjoy Taylor is joining me today. Joy How are you? I'm good so you are going to have a movements in your draft. Yes yes I think it's ridiculous to say. Well there's not going to be any trades there's GonNa be traits teams. Move up get quarterbacks. Ten of the last fourteen first round quarterbacks. Somebody's moved up to get him because they want him. And there's somebody else that wants them so we are going to have a trade early in this draft not only in my mock draft. But we're going to have one and I think it's obvious where it's going to happen so let me just start with this. So I think all these quarterbacks are fine. I think to Joe Borough just in Herber Jordan lobbing Jordan. Loves a little more of a prospect? But he's going to be good. They're all GonNa work in this league. It's just going to be. It's going to be timetables Lamar Jackson had to wait. Eleven games to start Baker and SAM. Darnold they start them right off the bat. It's GONNA take time. Josh was pretty bumpy early but now it looks to be really good so I saw this yesterday. And it's just you'd think I'm criticizing Joe Borough here. I'm defending him and remember that for the next seven minutes. Boomer esiason former. Nfl quarterback compares. Joe Borough to Lebron James Sir. Okay so we got Daniel Jeremiah. My Buddy compared him to brady an NFL scout anonymously compared him to Peyton Manning. Joel Klatt compared him to Joe Montana and boomer Esiason's comparing him to Lebron James. Two words God Hell. He is none of those. Those are legends first of all when IT COMES TO LEGENDS. Most not all most have a physical gift. They look different or they have a skill. That's different Russell. Wilson never gets hit eight years running around. He is uniquely mobile. He is a legend Brett. Farve had one of the best arms in league history. Joe Nemeth one of the best arms in league history. They have a skill they have something physical traits often. Lebron James Look Different. Tiger Woods was driving. The ball fed the change courses for Tiger Woods so most legends Trevor Lawrence to me as a chance to be alleged. Clemson quarterback six six rifle. Huge arm huge hands massive physical frame. That's what legends look like at Nineteen years old. Joe Borough is six three and a half to fifteen kind of a skinny neck. They say average arm. It's not a special arm. His hand sizes nine. That's below ideal size. He's not physically blowing you away. John elway walked into this league first year in the League. Strongest arm strongest arm. Aaron Rodgers walked in Dan Marino. Walked in PAL. I went to a party one time. I know this is a strange namedrop. The late Hugh Hefner. He had the heff mansion in like a real richy part of Los Angeles right so I got invited to a party. And there's all sorts of stars there. Payton manning towered over. The crowd paid many as six. Have you ever see Peyton Manning in person? He's six five big head big shoulders big but he's a big man. There were all sorts of boxers and celebrities. There Payton you could see them from fifty feet away Peyton. Manning was big. Tom Brady person six five. You ever bumped into Tom Brady. Tom skews the average American. Man's five ten. Tom Brady seven inches taller. He's big he's got big hand. He's got a big but these are big athlete. Most legends Lebron Look Different Tiger. Look magic was a six nine and a half point guard. Kareem abdul-jabbar was running up and down the court at UCLA. They wouldn't let freshman play he walked into UCLA. The bruins were the national champions Kareem Abdul Alison within walked in to UCLA. He was longer and stronger and faster than all the other players who just won the national championship. He led the freshman team to a thirty point route at UCLA over the national champions. The previous year he was physically different. Wilt was physically different magic Lebron Michael Jordan while he was a lay. So let's just start with that the physical dimension. He doesn't have it he is. He's Tony Romo. He's a pro athlete but he's not physically impressive. The second thing is that it took him years to produce he only produced in college not even at Lsu he didn't produce at Lsu is junior he only produced when everything went right legends produce despite obstacles. He wasn't good as junior year. Lsu NFL players wasn't any good. He completed fifty seven percent of his throws at Lsu was Great Day One national championship game. Great Day One. That's what legends do Justin Fields Ohio State. Sophomore Great Best Player arguably in the big ten is a sophomore. Do you realize only six players in the first round will probably be seniors. Great jumps off the television screen early. You don't sit around and wait for everything the lineup perfectly than you lead it to winning. That does again. Joe Borough you think ripping him. Your people are calling him a legend. He's not physically elite and he he didn't pop until his final year in college. That's not the way legends work. There's only one comedian in the history of comedy. That was a late starter. Rodney Dangerfield Jon Stewart. Bill Marr. The Dennis Miller's the Steve. Harvey's these guys were like seventeen. Eighteen nineteen twenty had agents scouts. All over him and were popping. Jerry Seinfeld Jay Leno Chris. Rock didn't hit it. Forty two didn't hit it. Thirty eight at twenty one years old. Andre Agassi Tennis Serena Williams. It's twelve you don't grow into Kevin. Garnett was like sixteen years old and people like he's the next great thing. Lebron was fifteen the chosen one. Bryce Harper covers sports illustrated sixteen so legends. Look different and legends. Don't grow into it. What about Tom Brady? There are exceptions. But it should be noted. Brady physically is way bigger than the average. Nfl quarterback you put brady next to Aaron Rodgers. Thomas significantly bigger and errands great. He is significantly bigger than Aaron Rodgers. He stands next deck. He's bigger. He's six five and a half quarterback Brady who got drafted by the major leagues in high school. He is a special athlete. You just Lamar or Russell wealthy. He doesn't doesn't add up there physically as a speed guy. So here's another thing to remember so physically. He doesn't look like legend secondly he popped only when everything lined up for him. But here are the players taken of all the current starting quarterbacks in the. Nfl here are the quarterbacks taken as the first quarterback in their draft of the current starters. Cuyler Mary Baker Mayfield. Jared Goff Matt Ryan Matt Stafford Mitch. Trubisky here are the current starting quarterbacks in the NFL taken as the second quarterback in the draft they were in Patrick Mahomes Carson Wentz. Aaron Rodgers drew brees. Sam Darnold Daniel Jones Philip rivers lot. More wins why because Joe Boroughs Not GonNa have the kind of coach. Mahomes does or wins does or breeze or Rogers. When you go I go worse team. A worse owner a worse. Gm and generally a worse scouting department. So borough is going to have a major disadvantage not to mention. He enters a division now which is stacked defensively he enters division against the Rooney family and Pittsburgh. Steve Bushati owns the Ravens. Those are two of the top five ownership groups in the NFL. What does that mean? They hired better coaches. They have better scouts. They have better executives. They have better organizations if you go back twenty years twenty years and you take the Ravens and the steelers seasons so if you go back twenty years take two. Nfl teams. That's forty total seasons right. Four Times the steelers or ravens have been below five hundred. The bengals in four years have been below five hundred. Four Times boroughs not a legend. He's not physically legend legends. Don't wait forever to pop. Don't give me this Michael Jordan. He got cut from his high school team as a freshman. Michael Jordan was a McDonald's all American who got recruited by at the time the most notable coach in College Basketball Dean Smith. Dean Smith WAS BIGGER THAN COACH K. When Michael came out and then Michael National title a Freshman Carolina and then broke into the NBA and was a blizzard offensively a relentless tiger a blizzard. You couldn't stop him. Players couldn't get along with him coaches. He got him fired but he was relentless. Larry Bird couldn't stop. The Pistons couldn't stop now. He couldn't carry the Bulls over those teams but they couldn't stop him so these. Oh my Lord. We've got him stacked up as Peyton manning and Lebron James and it's just so unfair he's GonNa be a nice NFL player. We gotta take a deep breath on Joe Borough. He's been compared to Brady Payton. Manning Lebron James and Joe Montana. Give me a break on this stuff. He's going to be Tony. Romo no titles. Good kid works hard. Gets his brains beaten by better organizations in the same division? All.

Joe Borough Nfl Tom Brady Lebron James Peyton Manning Lebron Michael Jordan Aaron Rodgers Brady Payton League Tony Romo Lsu Joe Montana Mary Baker Mayfield Lamar Jackson UCLA Tiger Woods Joe Nemeth Ravens Lebron Russell wealthy

"Player and very like we had out here in Vegas gained all of the players on that team Blake Griffin. All of the young guys coming up and giving me hugs and kisses. And thank you me because you know in that situation just in terms of dollars from Lebron James. He's got an extra one hundred million dollars. Toby gotta one extra one hundred million dollars Lake Griffin got an extra fifty million dollars Kevin Durant who give me a big hug and kiss each got seventy five million dollars extra so the number one dollars and sense that give you an example of what it is because with with four years have yet to wait four years after your high school graduate. You wouldn't lose that kind of capital and you lose that plant on you will lose four entitled number. That will help them get into the hall. Laid on those numbers would be race. And you don't know what happened four years then in College Spencer Haywood Aba Nba Legend and hall of Famer. Hey will always be remembered that the person opened the door for underclassmen college basketball players to leave college early to enter the NBA thereby creating the Spencer Haywood Rule Haywood attended the University of Detroit and help the US Olympic team to a gold medal at the nineteen sixty eight summer games in Mexico City. Nineteen sixty eight. After two years in college he decided to enter the NBA draft citing family financial hardship the NBA however at the time for players entering the draft until four years. After the high school graduation. Hey would then sign with the ABA. Denver rockets play one season leading the league in scoring and rebounding as a rookie since he now had a professional season under his belt he decided to challenge the NBA rule. Once again and signed with the Seattle Supersonics in one thousand nine hundred sixty nine the NBA wasn't having it. Hey will the league all the way to the US or frame court and one on September eleven? Two Thousand Fifteen. He wasn't Tryin Naismith Basketball Hall of fame. I'm John Johansen Junior and welcome to another edition of and Black America on this week's program. Aba An NBA Legend and hall of Famer Semester. Haywood in Black America. Charles Barkley went out on a limb when this stuff was acting when they were acting crazy. And I'm they missed me like the last time of going into the hall of fame and I was like put on the backburner right house. Barclay stepped up and said on. Nuff is enough and did it publicly. He did it every way you said enough is enough now. This is not right and he stood up as a player and he started educating young players. Like do y'all know who is in our presence with Spencer Haywood Blah Blah. And he started talking about. You know there's like three cases that changed the face of force in one dispenser Haywood Heywood versus the NBA. I went to the Supreme Court and then play a young player. Started like Whoa wait a minute. I know him I see him but I never knew that until Charles was the one that should should should be there. And he's my what you call. My advocate advocate is Just to a good person. Just a wonderful person. Spencer Haywood won Olympic gold medal in one thousand nine hundred sixty eight at age nineteen and signed with the Seattle Supersonics two years later after dominating the ABA and a case that went to the US Supreme Court he sued the NBA or rule that prohibited players being draft until the league until they waited for years after graduating from high school. He won that case and nineteen eighty. He won a world championship with the Los Angeles Lakers as a twenty rookie in nineteen sixty nine. Seventy season he led the American Basketball Association both scoring and rebounding and was named the League's Most Valuable Player and rookie of the year. One on April twenty seven nineteen forty nine and silver city Mississippi into a family of Chen Children Hayward grew up in a dying era of American history. His mother picked cotton for two dollars a day and Heywood joined her in the field at the age of five hundred sixty four he moved to Chicago then to Detroit in the motor city. He leads pershing high school to the one thousand nine hundred sixty seven Michigan class. A State Basketball Championship. He went on to a stellar careers at Trinidad State Junior College and the University of Detroit in the summer of nineteen nine hundred sixty eight. He helped the United States to a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Mexico City on September. The eleventh. Two Thousand Fifteen. Hey what was inducted into Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of fame? My first reaction was You know is this fact in. Is this true because I had had Three falls a long before that because most reporters and most people who look at numbers and they at by numbers as a player and that this guy was. Mvp of the ABA averaging thirty and twenty five years with the Seattle Supersonics average in twenty six and thirteen and Olympic record holder and all of these different categories and as still as leading score and also was the outstanding college player of the year. So they look at all these things and they just assume that everybody thought again. Then you know also I went to the Supreme Court to fight he would versus the NBA to pave the way for Lebron's Michael Jordan magic. All of them they come through what is called. I the NBA. They call it early entry and now. I think it should be called what it is to Spencer. Haywood because they have the Larry Bird rule and they have Oscar Robertson. Rule regrettably Oscar but I know they promote birds and Larry Bird's modified version of my role. Larry Bird came in on a dispenser. It will but anyway so for years we thought this would happen and then there was a couple of false alarms that it did happen. So I was kidding around with John Deliver with the The Chairman and CEO. The hall and he was mentioning. You know. Well I probably spend Kareem. Rise is always the top. Yeah I said well. What does that got to do with with Kareem abdul-jabbar? My my blonde jokes Right so so Yeah it was. It was delighted. Mandic to get the call and to finally get to call it. Finally get it in but you know my mother used to sing this whole Psalm Lord and may not come when you want and buddies right on time. And that's my Jackson right so you know if it had to happen any other time. I think it would have been not as powerful as it is today and It was right on time. And it's on God's time so I'm very grateful and very humble Vita journey understand so once. You heard that you were going to be inducted. Walk us through that period from the time that you got to call to the induction ceremony that took place last Friday. September the eleventh. What all the activities have you been involved with. Well I've been all over the country Speaking and people wanting to know this story because it's a unique story and it is basketball history but yeah you know it hasn't been told so It's a new newfound appreciation for Spencer. Haywood so players have been embracing me like only at USA basketball here. In Las Vegas Games all the players on that team Blake Griffin. All of the young guys coming up and giving me hugs and kisses and thanking me. Because you know that situation just in terms of dollars and cents per Lebron James. He's got an extra one hundred million dollars. Coby got a one extra one hundred million dollars but griffin got extra fifty million dollars Kevin Durant who give me a big hug. 'cause he's got seventy five million dollars extra so that's the numbers in dollars and sense that. I give you an example of what it is because with with four years. If you have to wait for years after your high school classic graduate you would lose that kind of capital and you'll lose that plan time loser scoring titles you'll lose numbers that will help them get into the hall. Later on those numbers would be raced. And you don't know what's going to happen in four years in college. You could get hurt. A lot of things could happen so they fully appreciating news. So it's a good feeling because of forty four years more to this to happen so it is It is right on time on God. Signed so and then I went to I've been doing a lot of golf. Tournaments or charitable events and also just playing a lot and I spend a Lotta time with my family. My daughters and in fact I gotTA leave Again next week my next two oldest daughters having our first grand and So I gotta go in go through the process with her and It is it is a spectacular time and I also sit back John and and think about the times we were sitting in your dad's barber shop. They all sunset and this and just Nevada in Detroit for people who don't know right in Detroit Michigan and John Fathers where we congregate And and and and do our conversation and get a nice. Yeah because he didn't allow us to walk around. I hair off falling away years and stuff. So that's right. Yeah you know that's right So we would sit there and listen and talk and just pass the ball sports but all so I've been reflecting on Detroit. I went over to my neighborhood yesterday. day before yesterday and spent some time over there. Thursday and looking around and just just hearing up. Because done you know the story you know. When I came up from Mississippi I had no place to say I had no family there and James and either bill took in and adopted me along with my coach. Will Robinson and then we had waned diet. Dr Wayne die of your your own zone by Diet. Right Do all of my academics bring me up to snuff there. Oh my God it was just A. It's just a lot of love was having an and I see in Detroit and it's always been that way you know. They've always reached out and help each

"It's obviously designed to make it seem like he's talking about. Lebron Michael Jordan. And then that when the music hits and all the drums, it's paid. It's paid manage Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady promo for next week Sunday night football game. Wow. Interesting. They got Jordan Jordan to do that. And LeBron who saw it, and you know, had fun with two. He tweeted out. I'm ready like multiple exclamation points. Oh, my bad. I thought maybe you were never mind back to my regular scheduled program. So LeBron had some fun with right, right? Everybody's having a good time was really clever and really well done. My question to you, Steve if you could go back through sports history to create the best one on one match ups where you can get peak this guy versus peak that guy any era in one game or in any kind of one on one sports matchup. What would you put together? So like, you could put Babe Ruth versus peak Kershaw. That kind of one man. Sandy Colfax versus Mike trout. Georgia's liberal saying really good ones. Right. Jordan versus LeBron is obviously one people would love to see, you know, Kobe versus Jordan one on one game Koby versus LeBron. Ooh. Well, I think the bronze big isn't he? Yeah. I know, but it's just fun to talk about versus LeBron. Well, baseball's easy one for matchup. Right. I think the idea of Mike trout versus got any of those great sixties pitchers. Colfax are Gibson or Colfax versus bonds or something like that to like one of those really interesting. I'm trying to think football doesn't work at all. NBA? It's all with its becomes one on one gates. It's all with it's all one on one and Karim could be kind of interesting. Like Bill Russell exactly now. You're talking. Yeah. Bill. Russell. I nNcholas tiger like peak Nicklaus's peak tiger like good cool. Cool did did Federer and Sampras overlap when they were both really good Okla. I don't think so. No that would be really if you like tennis ELS e somewhere his ears or tingling. I'm sure he'll always talking about tennis. Thompson might might have an opinion on other one. But that would be a good one like stuff like that yet. I'm trying to think track and field. No same boat would beat everybody. Bill is the fastest man. Fastest man in history. Yeah. So there's no to go. What about boxing, could you do I'll leave versus Tyson? Oh. The peak Tyson p Thais peak Ollie Ollie would kill him. You would think, but I don't know Tyson was seek Tyson. Was scared to me whole easy to walk into Sally field peak Holyfield vs one of those guys. Yeah. No against it's Chack. Yeah. I like that. Gin. No, I've got one, okay. Making these up off the fly. You and I are in the same fantasy basketball league team. What is my team size? Actually, I had pulled it up because I had anticipated this question. My team. Here's what's wrong with your team. I went and checked part of it is Chris Paul hasn't played much. And I soon he was a high pick. He was he was using my number one. You're not getting much out of Gordon Hayward. Yeah. Gordon Hayward kind of you're not getting anything on of Andrew Wiggins. Yeah. He's been hurt. Paul George has been fine. But Spencer Dinwiddie who you kept late hasn't done. Great Nuys McGrane is yours better than mine. I don't players. I have Joel Embiid in collide, Leonard. So my number one pick has been more productive than you wanna take who hasn't played right? And I also have a number one pick because I am beat it. As a keeper which is like having a second number one pick because I'm trying hard. Your team is not terrible. Like, you've got some good players way better than last year's and still. I'm twelve thousand fourteen. Yeah. I would say stick with it. I'm gonna stick with don't don't give up not gonna I'm not. There's no point in giving up already tanked once. I'm not tanking again. You can't start mixing it up making some trade. Trying some stuff I agree with you. Because I think I can content despite the fact that I probably have the least basketball acumen of anybody in that, let's league sharks question everybody..

"Iverson to the table I don't think anybody could guard. In one on one you, got three. On three you don't you don't need to spread the floor of the force already spread too. Big floor. With Arison you need somebody could take. Somebody off the dribble so I, go, Iverson shorten LeBron Look I I like my team in the sense of I mean Jordan and LeBron can't. Argue with. Those I would take Steph curry over. Iverson every day of the week Anybody staff I think Steph is very competent defender who's who's going up against remember a lot of players you're talking, in today's NBA who can get by you off the, dribble the, like just the the likes of the point guards that you're facing year over the, course of the year whether it's. Chris Paul or Damian Lillard or kyri Irving you know there are so many of, these guys who are are fantastic dynamos off the dribble they're they're all. Over. The, league so I don't think guarding and Iverson, would be, that foreign to to to staff especially. Because you can play off Iverson to make him shoot the ball I just. Want to Ordonez physicality to on defense I mean the one thing about him body, up courage if they let him play physical dominates curry physically yeah look He definitely is a great player in a great defender and physically you know I I don't. Know if your. Body ING up Steph curry again because you have. To stay, in front of him and he can pull the shot from from anywhere, on the floor, but. I, don't I'm not gonna argue against having Michael Jordan on your. Team that that's I could have chosen Michael Jordan on the team as well, I suppose put I like the construct of having LeBron is the creator and. Then Steph is, the secondary creator and, clay and Steph, spreading the floor and then again I'm going four deep I'm going. Shack so I can play a? Whole, different style of basketball as well how about, Daniel in New York? Daniel you're up next here on CBS sports radio what's going on Dana I guess everybody is, saying the same thing But instead, of you know I'll just have a I but I also. Have been caught and Tracy McGrady at five Toronto you. Know and I think that will be just enough to get over on your team, right there that's, an interesting team there's a little bit of what could have. Been with McGrady and Vince Carter, together obviously in Toronto and. Then, what could have been with McGrady as a, talent, but I, still think you know my team is more, talented overall, more proven, overall call l. o., m. force, man you know coming off the bench as a big man, we'll be. You know maybe, Patrick Ewing, patch but I if I, got shot coming off the bench who's better shocker Patrick Ewing I mean I understand that but Shaq is not an, outside shooter Who's better LeBron James or Tracy McGrady Well the ball James is better but I don't think he's better than Tracy is And we're talking about two, guys. That, I mean come on they, changed they changed the whole culture with Toronto man It was like it. Was like the splash brothers and while I. Did I wouldn't give Tracy, McGrady credit for changing the culture of Toronto Vince Carter had a big. Part of adept Tracy McGrady was great player but most of, all of. Tracy mcgrady's career highlights or Orlando or, Houston And they've got a Here's the batch And what does he the best, at the sides the? Sides like accomplish What? Is he the best What does he he he. Was breaking ankles every day. He's don't get me. Wrong he's, an all time great player but I don't think. He's the best at anything I would The best that anything and Steph curry is better than Iverson better player all around. Better player how about Stephen? In, Pennsylvania Steve you're up next here on CBS. Sports radio what's? Going? On Steve? What's. Up provin how, are? You sir Thank you for get me. Through a miserable rainy overcast? Day, but my big three I'd go with Brian. Jordan and I'd? Go? With healthy eighty. Two game Joel, Embiid A healthy eighty well all right well first of all Joe. Joel Embiid has to make proven self to be healthy over. A period of time, and I don't think he's proven himself at the level of these other. Guys period Is that got him control The block was. A was a. Fourth man then I would I would say that as my As my defense Janas. Off the bench look Janas Janas would scare me more than than Embiid. To be honest if you said LeBron Michael Jordan Janas that. Would scare me, but then again you're lacking outside shooting on that team because LeBron would be your best outside shooter The three it basically the, three point revolution kind of began simply with, math right people said okay if you shoot thirty three percent from three that's the same as shooting fifty percent. From two. And a went from, there especially as people got better. At hitting threes and you know some of these good shots became, bad shots and I would credit Steph curry a lot for, that where a shot that. In a different era would have got you sat on, the bench people realize. Was a makeable shot now, you, see guys doing it all the time off the dribble and you. See even as the volumes of the threes increased the percentage had remained. High and those two things in combination in conjunction are very. Very tough to, stop how 'bout Marcus in Louisiana Marcus you're up next here on CBS sports radio Oh man I got I got Kobe Michael. And, I, got secure. No last names Kobe Michael and Shaquille that's a good team I think, though Kobe and Michael or a little redundant I if I were if I were critiquing your team Three basketball is one on one basketball. Basically you got three of the most dominant one on one player in the world ever on the same yes but I would go in, that, third spot I. Would swap out either. Jordan or Kobe for somebody who who to shoot the, ball a little bit better and create off the dribble Oh my God shoot the ball better than Kobe Kobe is not. A great. Shooter from, the outside, he's a great both Jordan in Kobe great mid range shooters I'm talking about from from? The, outside well I heard you say. A, couple of hours ago it's about half court game is more Qadeer that's the argument against me I'm? Just, saying where I think your weakness is is. There's a redundancy all right so I if like what is what is what is Jordan or Kobe doing when they don't have the basketball Keep the field Face, for the person but they're not creating as much space because I'm not worried about them. Spot up shooters that's why I have Klay, on? My team right because yes is there's no defender in NBA history that can stand in front of. Those two million but that's when, they have saying what are they doing when they don't, have the ball Keeping their man over there but I'm not that word I will live. With Kobe or Jordan taking open, long jumpers I'll live with that they will beat you I mean my guys. Are gonna. Hit, those open long jumpers at a, higher clip, than those guys I mean they're great players don't get me wrong we're, we're talking about all time. Great players Dennis the cruise tweets in. "To be just dumb enough to think that you know what and our own town we just saw the eagles win the super bowl with their backup quarterback against tom brady they're just dumb enough to think that they can go on a run and i'm not talking about a run being first round playoff series because let's say they gotta play washington or indiana i would expect them to go to the postseason and win that series i saw cleveland and and i back in the day with with lebron michael jordan back in the day was chicago i saw shaq and kobe you know there's where you get to a series and you play very tough playoff series expect it to be any kind of blow out but tonight is that exclamation point a city that put up with a bunch of losing but had a large percentage of their fan base still manage to hold some sort of a belief that somehow would all work out eventually tonight's their chance i hate to put so much pressure on one regular season game but tonight's that kind of night the process will be with a capital p a gigantic capital p followed by an exclamation point if you beat lebron and the cavs tonight this is the night the playoffs are going to be important to but tonight's the night because guess who's watching lebron james is watching he's watching tonight he's going to be right there on that court right there in that building he's gonna feel the excitement he's gonna feel the energy he's going to see the potential and guess what folks he's leaving cleveland like almost every other person that's ever had a choice he's leaving cleveland and he just might think about being a part of what the sixers have building knicks on cbs sports radio with jonky kit in for bill ryder sorry i'm cooking i'm busy so but i heard your your your talk can kate and i love you i'm not born and bred in delco but i moved alco okay i grew up in of mandalit subject so hill so i'm back often we just traffic from blue to down to the blue that is one thing that dallas the.

"The franchise is dead if bella check retired today brady would still know the offense and they could be viable if you ever wonder who's more valuable ask yourself brady retires this morning new england's done they're done bella check retires this morning it least for a year or two brady knows the offense and the playbook and would control that side of the ball with pretty good gronk would be back they've got the multitude of town running backs elements coming back chris hogan's coming back they would survive for a couple years with brady they would be done if tom retired today they'd be done i don't care who's head coaches they would be done they don't have a backup plan they don't have a good enough to get a quarterback and i can assure you who wouldn't give him the number one pick cleveland bella check resent them they resent bella check so they couldn't get a top pick all three hours of the heard are always streaming on the her channel on the iheartradio app here's the way the world works we fall in love with certain athletes and then over time there's an athlete that we start comparing to that athlete lebron michael jordan and there's a lot of resentment because people love michael jordan and so when lebron comes in and threatens michael jordan there's a lot of resentment i saw this for years with gulf people grow up with jack an entire started threatening his legacy and there was a lot of resentment for tiger woods so what happens you have star michael jordan jack nncholas we fall in love with them and then there's somebody who challenges all time their records and legacy lebron tiger woods so what happens then we start to nit pick lebron tiger woods they'll never be this they'll never be jack they'll never be mj and it's funny last night the new lebron the next lebron face lebron fifteen years in the league the old lebron's better.
