Kanye's 24-Hour Removal From Instagram Was Very Alarming
"I was trying to get some thoughts out about how we just keep getting lied to. And other people who make the most noise are these people on social media platforms who are spreading lies. And I mentioned the Leah Thompson thing, the transgender swimmer, and the Jussie smiled. And I did just a host of stories that are going on right now. Where not to mention they came in Kanye situation, it longed me that Kanye was taken off Instagram for 24 hours. That Lauren me more than anything. I don't like that that can happen in this world. We're on obviously this is not a new story. They took down Trump from Twitter. I know about that. People get deplatformed left and right. I've been deplatformed from Twitter over three years now. That's okay. I don't really like Twitter. But I'm more annoyed and upset about what's happening with social media platforms and how they're able to stop those of us who know a thing or two from talking. And then allow a bunch of assholes who want to spread lies to keep talking and let that platform grow.

"Meter freestyle At the NCAA women's swimming championship meet You saw the image of Lea Thompson biological male when Lea Thompson was swimming as a man at the University of Pennsylvania Lea Thompson was ranked in the 500s I think A mediocre at best Here's the thing This is a person who trained and swam all through junior high and high school and did well in their high school team not well enough to get recruited by a PAC 12 school You know it's not like they're in the Stanford swim team right or Virginia or any of the Big Ten schools or any of the powerhouse sensitive but got into an Ivy League school University of Pennsylvania And was mediocre 200 300 500 did wasn't going to go to the championships not by any stretch of the imagination Was this person going to do But you know what You train hard you get a scholarship you're a division one athlete and you get a great education at the University of Pennsylvania and you use that to go on your professional life That's great That's a great story right A lot of people out there a lot of young women who back in the 60s and 70s they were denied any possibility of doing that because colleges didn't have a lot of female athletics They didn't have a lot of women's athletics There were a lot of guys who were able to only entree they had to get to college was through that athletic scholarship or to get recruited for a division one team in all the sports wrestling football baseball basketball whatever And swimming sure swimming you betcha swimming Well Lea Thompson is now on the women's team and Lea Thompson won the national championship for the 500 meter freestyle and Lea Thompson of course is no longer a man or well no longer competes as a man I mean by any other definition of what makes a man a man Leah Thompson is a man The funny thing about swimming competition you know you just wear a swimsuit And that's it And there was a picture of Lea Thompson there getting ready for this championship race and that swimsuit at well it doesn't hide a thing Very hard to hide anything When you're in a swimsuit especially a racing swimsuit So by any other definition Lea Thompson is a man In the adoption went through puberty as a man and gained a muscle tone and density Bone density And all of the regular developments that a male body would achieve during puberty Lea Thompson was able to achieve those developments also Lea Thompson I think is like 6 four 6 5 which would be an extraordinary height For a woman a biological woman but not for a male athlete not necessarily Wingspan all those things that go along with being a great male swimmer with that kind of physique Leah Thompson possesses those things and Lea Thompson smoked the competition in the 500 free Leah Thompson stood up on that podium and you look at the second place third place fourth place finishers and Lea Thompson dwarfed those women Dwarfed them It was it was a joke To be fair to be honest to be completely upfront with you It was a joke Can we stop this joke now Can we stop this charade Can we stop this collective Parlor game where we all pretend that we're gonna go along with this thing and believe that a man can just call themself a woman and then compete and take an opportunity away from a genuine biological woman that that opportunity was designed for in the first place and say no I know we fought these fights to make sure that there were women's sports at the collegiate level and I know that we set aside all of these scholarships for young women so they could have entree to higher education and compete in collegiate sports and have a great future ahead of them and I know that we award with a Olympic opportunities those that are at the highest of their field and the women who finish and get the national championship I know that we did all of that to help women but now now if a biological man decides that they want that opportunity they can just take it They can just take it from the woman Can we can we please just end all the pretending that we're doing about this Can we just use our eyes and look at the reality before us If you are a parent of a young woman who is currently competing either in basketball swimming track softball whatever sport that your daughter is competing at and maybe in junior high right now maybe in high school Have they come to you and voice concerned to you Have your daughters come to you and said why bother Why bother This is the first Everyone said oh Leah Thomas is the first Leah Thomas is the first Yeah you betcha Leah Thomas is the first You don't think there will be more You don't think this is the first of many I'd love to hear your story if that's happened to you if you've had this conversation with your daughters How's that go And by the way what's it look like when your daughter tries to speak out about this when your daughter tries to actually say this is wrong The kind of bullying and intimidation the silencing we're hearing about it from Leah Thompson's Thomas's teammates They said they're not allowed to they have to deal with going into the locker room they'll just be clear Leah Thomas has every single vivid characteristic of a 21 year old male in the peak of their athletic condition Every characteristic that a young man has Leah Thomas has I mean everything All the equipment In the a Thomas has demanded access to that locker room And to the shower And according to the reports from anonymous teammates who will not speak with their name associated with lest they be bullied and intimidated by their school the University of Pennsylvania According to these teammates Leah Thomas is not very modest in the locker room And last I checked we as a society we're supposed to try to protect our daughters 877-381-3811 I'd love to hear what your conversations are like right now with your daughters if they're involved in athletics But let's not pretend anymore Can we just stop pretending Now I understand there's a vested interest in the again we're back to the media who love this story because they think they're being so correct in there being so open minded and they're being so tolerant and they're being so deferential And listen and I want to be clear here This isn't about this individual This is about our society This is about our daughters And how courageous there's one picture that really strikes me with a second third and fourth place finishers the young women The three of them grouped together and Leah.

Whatever reason maybe people ryan that we get a teenagers up problems but You if you grew up in the mid to late eighties. I think They really nail the characters in terms of the ag. Craig schepers someone who always. Why wasn't this guy bigger. Yeah so good well. Some kind of wonderful to me felt like an apology for pretty in pink where he was like That she didn't end up with duckie. Here's the one. I wanted to do but the problem with wonderful. It's that it's that team dilemma. That you and i can totally relate to. I have to choose between this scorchingly. Hot girl in this other scorchingly hot girl like it's the single bike. I wanna be with thomson you can't. You'll have to be with mary. Listen up what perfect like the that. The girl that he ends up with is stunning. Like it's gorgeous. I don't what if the conflict heater shave is beautiful. I've seen her. i think she's going to be on orders and stuff like that and you instantly know. Oh my god. That's that sticks from some wonderful. Exactly mary stuart matches and she was show and still is so gorgeous. Leah thompson was gorgeous. Like the thing with john cryer who was also very handsome but he he was goofy. And it's like oh no it's his personality that makes attractive Mean and so that she's got decide between That's why i think the end of pretty in. Pink is so unsatisfying liquid. He looks over the the blonde girl. goes hey okay what doug like john hughes literally throws a blonde girl adam at the end like sorry about that. Here's a hot blonde. While it was the is so it was also the ec on a young andrew dice. Clay who Despite what he went through his a comedian he was always instill. It's an amazing actor.

Yes. Yeah, Like I can see a little Jon Cryer in there. Yes, McLovin. Yeah, very much. The 2.5 men era Jon Cryer. That's exactly right. I mean, Ducky had the puffed up hair. I don't see you as a pretty in pink. I am surprised. Oh, I love those John Hughes movies like that's when it started. John Hughes started those those kind of movies, those those teenage Rahm calms. Yeah, Paulie. I watched some kind of wonderful. Just the other day. Eric Stoltz, Leah Thompson. Craze. Scheffler, I think was the Bad guy. The good in the high school guy. Good movie. Eric Stoltz, Big fan. Yeah. Like some kind of wonderful. It's not as good. All I care about is me and my drums and you didn't get you. Come on, man. Now. I just felt bad for Eric Stoltz because he was going to be in back to the future, right? And then they replaced him with Michael J. Fox. They shot some of it would. Yeah, and they pulled him out. And then they said no, He's not the right guy takes a lot to do that. I think where you Ouch, you're already filming, and I'm like, Wow, This isn't working at all. Eric. Uh, come on in and bring your playbook. What? Bring your script? Yes, McLovin. I love him pretty in pink that the high school students were sport jackets to school. That is the ultimate anecdote hardware story. I don't i've never. I've only met leah thompson from back to the future. But those but she was very lovely. Wow i i didn't need her like organically. I met her at back to the future like convention so oh well it. It was kind of expected. I'd run into somebody. But i've never gone to like accidentally eat fries with hunting. Acquire kidding me. I mean you would have known it was. That's a wild partisan. She just didn't even. I would know don't either. I wouldn't have able to keep a conversation going. I would have been the projectile vomited all over so anyway. What do you do like. Oh my god. Wow let story well. That is a very exciting array of tales for our birthday month. "So my biggest not issue with the movie, but my biggest question of the movie is. How did Marty meet Doc? And why are they so close? And you could look at that as well. When Marty went back in time, and then went forward in time, it turns out that Doc now knows him from 1955. But now I lost this piece of paper. I wanted to see what this thing said. But either way, I'll just paraphrase so what Bob said. And this is kind of like a David air type of thing. Or, like a Zack Snyder thinking like the DC universe, kind of red conning things that wasn't in the movie. And what he said was that when Marty was 13, he always heard that Doc was like a dangerous guy. So he would sneak into his science lab out of pure curiosity. And then he thought it was really cool, and that's why he was so close to dog. Yeah. I mean, that's you could buy that. I also think no idea. I buy it. I just would have liked here. Stell is just that 1955 dock clearly remembers Marty. And so when Marty is in that neighborhood docks like I'm gonna be friend. This kid. Yeah. Simple. Simple enough. That just makes sense to me. I research I did research. Uh, the PG synopsis of goose synopsis Marty make fly. A 17 year old high school student 25 year old 17 year old high school student is accidentally set 30 years into the past and a time traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the eccentric scientist Doc Brown. This movie stars Michael J. Fox is Marty McFly. I Christopher Lloyd is Dr Emmett Brown. AK Doc. Leah Thompson is Lorraine Baines. Crispin Glover Is George might Fly. Thomas Self F. Wilson is Biff Tannen and Claudia Wells is Jennifer Parka. This movie has some of the best acting ever if we did a best girl next door of the eighties. Would Leah Thompson be on the Mount Rushmore Specific girl bookstore? That's very important, so attractive. And she plays that girl next door so well, like he plays this little sundress curled up hair look kinda like a whisper voice. Yeah, yeah, like she's she's conservative, but she's not He, You know, that's the classic girl next door. Personally, I liked her better. And Howard, the duck s O. I think everyone always remembers Marty McFly. I played by Michael J. Fox and obviously Doc played by Christopher Lloyd. But this movie like you buy into it, but you're really sold because of Leah Thompson because of Crispin Glover, and that's so clear on his business. The best. Great, just great Crispin Glover playing like the measly George might fly and leave Thompson going from the drunk, you know, carefree mother at the beginning to the young Lorraine is also so so good. And so, like Marty and Doc were just doing the same thing the whole time. Those two characters doing something different, whole time or jumping around, and I think that's more impressive and so Again on I don't know how many times I watch this movie that but that was so clear today watching it that these two were so good and really put the movie on. I will say that my favorite line of the movie the You Should have quit while you're ahead Award of this movie. I love this line of You cost me $300 in car damage. I'm going to take it out of your butt. What does that mean? Beth has like three or 41 liners. That just makes absolutely no sense. You like you just alright? It's Biff. We'll just We'll just deal with it. And I think the first hour of this film You could argue, is one of the greatest hours in of like in cinema history. It gets a little slower once he's gotta like, basically, once he's back in time, he's gonna get his parents back together. And then he's gonna get it. But you know what His journey is. But you know what? His journey to the jury. It's still great. Just slower. But as slow as it might get, and it's not slows a bad word for it. It's just compared to the first hour. It's still so much fun. Every single scene is loaded with fun hijinks. It's nonstop fun from beginning to end, and it's just paste so well like that first hour. They dropped so many things in there that pay off in the second hour, and it's just beautiful, beautiful writing. And I would say that Marvin Berry is my favorite character that I've every character. Yeah, because it's so awesomely goofy. It's stupid. To stick that Chuck Berry thing in there. And you know what happens. That stupid thing plays in the Force Gump as America's movie, Because now he's like, Oh, I can put forth dumping everything. And Marty McFly I with Chuck Berry, and he was like, Oh, there's an idea and also, I actually would have liked it. If when he was back in 85, they showed him having a little more guitar skills. Because for him just to jump into that in 55 just rip it apart like actually saw him because growing up by an AMP. You played one note and he was almost dead. We saw him pretty much shredder himself and ninja turtles, too. I think I think simple enough reports before you get into this. This just gets into one of my favorite references from hot tub time machine, which obviously borrows a ton from this movie. Yeah, but when Craig Robinson goes up there doing like the Chuck Berry thing, and he plays a black eyed piece on the guy in the basketball Good. I have a sound for you. It's Chuck s so funny. Think simple enough Good. It's the concept of this movie that wins out for everyone. The idea of being able to go back in time and hang out with your parents. If you're 17 and go back with them. You wouldn't want to do that, though. It's just a concept. I mean, yeah, but the concept there Dad would punch you in the face. I would watch my dad punch people in the face, But I don't think you would go after me. Maybe I don't know. I just think it's an incredibly cool concept. I think that's why this movie wins out for everyone. I'll give you the three things that I don't like. Okay, and there Small they don't well, one does play huge. It is a huge plot point in the movie first ball of the terrorists. It's just dumb Libyan terrorist leader Actually. Okay, so off of that. What's also dumb is Doc Brown. Wearing the bulletproof vest because he still gets shot about nine times doesn't the Kevlar break after taking one bullet?.

BITCOIN radio is powered by most belt blockchain accelerator and multi dot Io, and we are continuing to reimagined twenty following interview was broadcast in May of twenty twenty as part of our version. One point. Oh conference featuring Leah Thompson otherwise known as girl. Gone, crypto. Here with Leah Thompson of your might also know her as girl gone crypto twitter and maybe even seen her briefly in the Super Bowl. So she runs a social media channel in the blockchain space and Leah. Why don't we get started with telling everyone how you sort of got into the space I? I heard about bitcoin back in like maybe two, thousand, twelve, thirteen somewhere in there because I had some friends that were minors but and they kept telling me to Bitcoin but sadly, I didn't listen to them until twenty seventeen. and. So. I got into the space kind of early mid two, thousand seventeen. So before the. Big run-up happened and the way that I really Kinda got hooked and really started getting involved was i. it's kind of a weird story that involves a Ukulele. So I joined a blogging platform called steam or steam it I don't know if you have heard of them are familiar with them but it was basically where you could earn crypto for posting content and so I started doing that I posted a ukulele cover. Oh, singing I think I forget some song and made like a hundred dollars in crypto in steam and I was like. What what what just happened? And so. That really is what kind of led me down the rabbit hole because I had never made content before. But I was like I can do this. This is interesting and so I started posting more kept earning crypto and that that just kind of led to me asking all of these questions like why is this even worth anything and how was it created? And now that I have some, what can I do with it and what is this thing called an exchange what are these other coins and you know all of that and so I really got involved you know I said pretty strongly in that community but that kind of led me to learn more about the greater crypto community more about bitcoin itself and so. I really only started my channel Gorgon crypto about nine months ago. But the reason that I did is so I had started. Getting requests to speak at all these different crypto conferences and I was like, no, I don't do crypto content. I just do like Ukulele and like food blog stuff on this. But because it's a crypto based platform, all these crypto people we're following me on there and they kept I kept going to these crypto conference. It's. It's kind of weird but I was like.

"The way you work it. No. Remember Leah Thompson from the back to the future movie. She played the mother. Well, she's got a daughter, who is a writer, director and actor in her own right, Madeline Deutsch is going to be joining us and talking about her new movie. You might want to check out this weekend on pay per view. That's in a few on NewsRadio. 1000. Katie. Okay, Bill Zephyr joins us now from 24, 7 News and Bill. We started talking about this group a couple days ago. Proud boys. Who are they? And why are they being talked about so much? Yeah, they're getting a lot of attention, and much of it. Ah is undeserved. Frankly, The proud boys is a group that build themselves as a men's only Fraternal group of what they call themselves Western Show Veniste's Ah, and they, of course, came up during the debate on Tuesday night when we talked about A'ight during the debate, they talked about the white supremacists and Joe Biden mentioned Proud boys and President Trump said, the words stand back and stand by. Well. This has touched off a flurry of activity. From the proud boys themselves, who took this as an endorsement by President Trump, saying that one of them added that to their logo, another sent a message to the president saying, standing down standing by, sir, almost like they're now taking commands from the president. But this group is is really a confusing group and for good reason there so many messages out about this group. Ah. At one point, the FBI called them an extremist group. They later backed off of that, but the head of the Anti Defamation League had called them a virulent strain of American right wing extremism. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which in itself is considered a bit radical says they're all out hate group specializing in general hate. They are often seen linked to other white supremacist groups. They were in Charlottesville. Eso there it's easy to connect them to this type of activity. Now they themselves say they're not racist. That they're not white supremacists. In fact, their leader is a guy by the name of Enrique Terrio, who is part Hispanic, part black. Ah, So, like I said, if you're confused, joined the club. There are a lot of others. Okay, so they, I think also, what's what's got everybody kind of cranked up is the word show Veniste. I think that's you know, I think that's being used in a different context in their own description, rather than the way it's being used, you hear show business. Do you think it's a bad thing, but show them this? Comes from show oven is, um which I think is a derivative of chivalry. Yeah, I don't know if we could categorise these guys is chivalrous. No, no, I think they categorize themselves that way. Yeah, because some of their writings and some things that members have posted or anti Islamic anti Jewish anti women. S so it really is a group that nobody's even sure how many members there are. We think there are about 6000 members and at least a dozen states across the country. And like I say they often show up at protests. They also see themselves as a counterbalance to antifa showing the other side. But the fact that they usually wear make America great again. Hats links them to President Trump that way. Ah, but there is one other concerning thing here lay to that. President Trump Ah said after the debate. He said he didn't know who the proud boys were. He now says he knows something about them, but not very much. That's a little concerning, but certainly the FBI knows who they are. The Anti Defamation League does. AH, lot of other groups do know that this group is capable of causing trouble. If the president doesn't know about groups in this country that ah, that are possibly going to cause trouble within the country. I think he needs to consult more with his intelligence people. But aah if the president had come out On debate night and said what he said on Fox News last night that I denounced the cake, a white supremacy. We wouldn't even be talking about this today, so I know I know now I'm also wondering why he brought them up at all. And the way he brought them up. It was almost a CZ, though. Ah, hey, at some point, he meant to bring them up. And give that message out. But he was at the time. I think it was mad. It think it was mad at Biden and was more interested in and snapping back at Biden than getting his message across because he almost he dropped it so quick and went on to something else against Biden. But in his message to the group, was it do we do we know if it was intended to actually tell, tell them to back off. Let the police do their job. Or was it an endorsement? I don't think it was intended to do anything. Okay? I think it was just a reaction at that moment from the president because he quickly went on to talk about Antifa. Ah, you know, you said hey said, Stand back. Stand by. It's really antifa. You should be worried about that. So I'm not sure the president meant anything by that. But he didn't do a lot to clarify it afterwards. No, his stream of consciousness. Whatever he's thinking, he talks so Yeah, You're probably right. It was just something that the spur of the moment. Yeah, well, that's his, and that's his M O to build Simper. Thank you for the update on NewsRadio. 1000. Katie. Okay, She's been a writer. She's been a director and she's the daughter. "How did Marty meet Doc? And why were they so close? And you could look at that as well. When Marty went back in time, and then went forward in time, it turns out that dog now knows him from 1955. But now I lost this piece of paper. I wanted to see what this thing said. But either way, I'll just paraphrase so what Bob said. And this is kind of like a David Ayer type of thing. Or, like a Zack Snyder thinking like the DC universe kind of wrecked, conning things that wasn't in the movie. And what he said was that when Marty was 13, he always heard that Doc was like a dangerous guy. So he would sneak into his science lab out of pure curiosity. And then he thought it was really cool, and that's why he was so close to dog. Yeah. I mean, that's you could buy that. I also think No, I zero. I'd buy it. I just would have ways here. Stell is just that 1955 dock clearly remembers Marty. And so when Marty is in that neighborhood docks like I'm going to be friend, this kid. Yeah. Simple. Simple enough. That just makes sense to me. I research I did research. Uh, the PG synopsis of goose synopsis Marty might fly a 17 year old high school student, A 25 year old 17 year old student is accidentally set 30 years into the past and a time traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the eccentric scientists. Doc Brown. This movie stars of Michael J. Fox's Marty McFly. I Christopher Lloyd is Dr Emmett Brown. A gay doctor. Leah Thompson is Lorraine Baines. Crispin Glover is George might Fly myself F. Wilson has been tannin and Claudia Wells is Jennifer Parka. This movie has some of the best acting ever if we did a best girl next door of the eighties. Would Leah Thompson B on the Mount Rushmore specific Gerlach store? That's very important, so attractive, and she plays that girl next door so well, like he plays the little sundress curled up hair like kind of like a whisper voice. Yeah, right. Yeah, like she's. She's conservative, but she's naughty. You know, that's the classic girl next door. Personally, I liked her better. And Howard, the duck s O. I think everyone always remembers Marty make fly, Played by Michael J. Fox and obviously Doc played by Christopher Lloyd. But this movie like you buy into it, but you're really sold because of Leah Thompson because of Crispin Glover, and that's so clear on Babe. It's great. Just great. Crispin Glover playing like the measly George might fly and Leah Thompson going from the drug, you know, carefree mother at the beginning to the young Lorraine is also so so good. And so, like Marty and Doc were just doing the same thing the whole time. Those two characters doing something different in the whole time are jumping around, and I think that's more impressive and so again on. I don't know how many times I've washed movie now, but that was so clear today watching it that these two were so good and really put the movie on out. I will say that my favorite line of the movie the You Should have quit while you're ahead Award of this movie. I love this line of You cost me $300 in car damage. I'm going to take it out of your butt. What does that mean? Biff has like three or 41 liners. Judges make absolutely no sense And I like you just right. It's beautiful. Just we'll just deal with it. And I think the first hour of this film You could argue, is one of the greatest hours of like in cinema history. It gets a little slower once he's got a basically, once he's back in time, and he's gonna get his parents back together. And then he's gonna get it. But you know what? His journey is first, but you know what? His journey but it's still great. Just slower. But as slow as it might get, and it's not slows a bad word for it. It's just compared to the first hour. It's still so much fun. Every single scene is loaded with fun high jinks. It is non stop fun from beginning to end, and it's just pay so well that first hour They dropped so many things in there that pay off in the second hour, and it's just beautiful, beautiful writing. And I would say that Marvin Berry is my favorite character that like every character, Yeah, I hate that. It's so awesomely goofy. It's stupid. To stick that Chuck Berry thing in there. And you know what happens. That stupid thing plays in the Force Gump as America's movie, Because now he's like, Oh, I can't perforce trumping everything, and I was party might fly with Chuck Berry, and he's like, Oh, there's an idea and also, I actually would have liked it. If when he was back Ineighty five, They showed him having a little more guitar skills. Because for him just to jump into that in 55 just rip it apart like he got blown up by an AMP. Yeah, he played one note and he was almost dead. We saw him pretty much shredder himself in ninja turtles, too. I think, Gil I think simple enough joy before before you get into this. This just gets into one of my favorite references from hot tub time machine, which obviously borrows a ton from this movie. Yeah, But when Craig Robinson goes up there doing like the Chuck Berry thing, and he plays a black eyed pea song Chi in the basket so good. I have a sad for you. It's so funny. I think simple enough Good. It's the concept of this movie that wins out for everyone. The idea of being able to go back in time and hang out with your parents. If you're 17 and go back with that. I wouldn't want to do that. Though. It's just I don't want concepts. I mean, yeah, but the concept that Dad would want you in the face. I would watch my dad punch people in the face, But I don't think you would go after me. Maybe I don't know. I just think it's an incredibly cool concept. I think that's why this movie wins out for everyone. I'll give you the three things that I don't like. Okay, and there They're small, they don't well, one does play huge. It is a huge plot point in the movie first ball of the terrorists that's just dumb Libyan terrorists living nationally and okay, so off of that, what's also dumb is Doc Brown..

We're B Do silly to know what I was explaining your enjoyable If you're missing my point, though, about the orgasm gap you were trying to make it be personal for you. Which is does we couldn't We weren't talking about you, you and your experience because women Usually feel more comfortable about what they know sexually as every age like, Ah, like, late twenties, early thirties or if you were, you know An early, you know, like you got going and then got going a lot, You know, maybe 25. But, Julia, I mean, you know that family, you know that this okay, so just a couple things that we did not get to today that I think we should Okay is in all of the little. You know, the Alan stories that were coming out, you know? Elliot Thompson from back to the future, answered Brad Garrett when he said that Ellen everyone knew no, she's mean and she's right. She spoke like she was in a medieval show. True story. It is true story. Period. It is period, you know, doesn't seem casts evil. Speak. Yes, it is true. True story. It is And, um, anyway, then that so as opposed to data that she didn't say that because she's Leah Thompson and and and she left that, you know, tweet up, but not really anything but one of the stories when the sun came out, and said Home. You know, maybe James Corden who will replace there. Will you do that? By Gabby s and like, Ali said late night. This Ellen show is its own entity. He doesn't want to do it anymore. She is a contract to it. I don't in order to show always is profitable because they pay her so much and they pay her because everyone thinks she's A great and kind, happy dancing elf like person of a personnel, and we've come to find out. She's a mean Biaggio and on Lee if she likes you, is she nice to you? And if you're one of the little people in her life, which is like everybody in her show, she's mean. I mean, these are These are not things that will make people love you. Universally, at the end of the day, Julia but one of things with the James Horner with this, but the story. I mean, did you guys ever hear any things that that James is kind of an Alan? So yes, We totally heard this. Six months ago. A year going. He apologize. He totally and that he's in a hole to He has a horrible reputation. And he he's your stab, marveled waiters. Fans. Yes. You'll marry. So he's that was just a made up thing, maybe for the sun to get it out there. You know that James is that I don't know. Maybe, but we already knew that about him. And he even addressed it. He even kind of said, You know, I I've been I've been kind of a dink. A dink? Yeah. All right. Should I tell you some other stuff? You can. I'm worried to best. Rogan. Yeah, about he plays the 19 twenties immigrant in America and his hungry grand son is character falls in a pickle. That and his brined and preserved for under clears company, which is how he gets to meet his same age. Great grandson. The sun idea is, but you know what? Pineapple Express it? Well, this is so broken. I mean, I just said that they would never do a cz A second movie of Pineapple Express because it was so naughty here. Oh, gosh, anyway, but it's I'll watch it for sure. You kidding me? That kind of volume to a pickle that for 100 years and you meet your great grandson. Yeah. Gets like big meets big. Look, we're stony Stone. Yeah, Whatever. Oh, God is something I can't think of it. Yeah. Anyway, he said that Bravo. People who go you know, on gravel below deck. The people are uptight. Who should replace Ellen?
"News is ongoing. Generous. Ongoing News that won't stop are one nemesis might be replaced by our other nemesis. On their talk show the Ellen show. Well, these are that this is them news, but I do feel like Ellen could be replaced with a WHO, if this all comes to fruition or like a WHO thinks so too person because I'm seeing a lot of people nominate various talk show e people although apparently the rumors are like James Corden is going to replace Ellen, but like he has a show so. That makes no sense to me on any. That's what blows my mind. Why he has eight hundred shows. He has just made another daily show like that doesn't make any sense to me at on. The also has carpool. Karaoke. And then he also has the cat sequel like he has plenty, oh. Yeah. Let's replace a supposedly nice person with another supposedly nice person like. Haven't. We learned anything from this thing. These people are Nice. They suck. I think always be wary of people who say their thing is being. I think the number, one person who should clearly replace Allen is Kiki Palmer. There's literally no. Better obvious. Getting a lot of a lot of traction and she showing up a lot of tweets because it's like she just had a talk show that got canceled for no reason on ABC. Well, it was like that one hour of Commerical Strahan. Michael? And Kiki Sarah? There was A. Third Sarah. Sarah. And Michael and Kiki It just give it to clean working it. Just everyone likes he. We Love Kiki. She's a great host. Who else do you think if if we're going if for skewing young? I think we to Kiki for skewing older, I think it should go to fucking the woman who should have gotten David Letterman, amy. Sedaris like give it to amy sedaris because people like her. She's silly. I don't know that, amy, the thing is I. Don't know that Amy Sarah's would want to do that I. Feel like. I don't need that. We're talking about this on the Patriot. If you WANNA. Go listen to that about how drew Barrymore also has daily, show a daytime show coming out, and I'm like who would want this job? Drew Barrymore wants this job since when like it's just to meal a a weird job that you wouldn't want that could turn you or probably. Turn you into a monster, right? Yes. but the to provide a context in case you've been under a rock people are like there. There have been the rumors for years and years and years, but specifically the past few months they've really you know the hit a critical mass and started being reported publicly like Ellen is an asshole to everyone. Ellen is an asshole. The people she works with Ellen makes people not talk to her ellen cruel. But now there are reports by like news and variety and insider that it wasn't just ellen being a to everyone and celebrities and not liking Ellen like being on Ellen show. It's that the executive producers were actually like being abusive like in sexually harassing the employees. So it's like a culture. Culture of toxicity. That is the sort of thing that I don't that Ellen is deciding up allegedly that she doesn't want to deal with anymore. So she's like this sucks like I just rather not do this anymore. Right. So but this rumor, this isn't this is in fact, this is rumor because people keep their keep going back and forth and saying some some sources say she's not leaving this show sums his sources as she's leaving the show. I. Can't imagine somebody as likely a annoyed with the whole situation who is known to be not a very nice person would want to continue to fake be nice and have to apologize and half to like kind of whatever because these rumors have been. Kind of like I for some reason I, keeping you Kevin Spacey Pre the abuse allegations like when everyone knew he was gay, but no one knew he was gay like it was weird thing where it was like if you knew, you knew if you didn't, you had no idea what be totally shocked it. Kind of feels like that type of Hollywood news where like everyone knew that Ellen was secretly mean except for Ellen fans who had no idea where living happily with ellen everyday of their life and like the show was wildly successful, right? very strange. A very strange thing. Do you think that this will happen because people are so bored in their craving, the Gospel, and then somebody just this is this is what I mean I, think it's I mean. It's a combination of a lot of things at one of is like the people finally speaking out about their employers. It's like finally like shutting down like the. The systemic issues and leg, not being corporate America and knowing that people will support them and believe them and believe them, and that like the media machine of Ellen isn't powerful enough to shut down. So many voices if enough come out and and we'll talk about it later in the episode, but it's like the it's similar to the. Vanessa. Morgan thing, it's it's shades of an ESA Morgan being like I'm going to speak up against the riverdale creators and the Riverdale producers because people are people are realizing that they can do that and they won't get like dumped on by the press or of their fans they will be seen as like heroes. But. It's also just like, I, Think Dakota Johnson had a tiny bit to do with it because Dakota Johnsons like Open crubaugh open open. Rudeness to Ellen SORTA. Gave People. I don't know permission to speak about rumors that she's an asshole more openly. They're like, it looks like that's what Dakota's referencing. So I didn't even know you liked me. Of course, I. Like you. You Knew I. Liked you. You've been on the show many times and don't I show like. But I did invite you and you didn't come. So this time you invited me, are you sure? How do you? I don't think. So ask everybody. Jonathan. Your producer. I was that, why didn't I go? I don't know that became a meme. You have people like Brad Garret and who else replied to him. Leah Tom's Tom's joins. She is mean she is. She. Yes. Now, I can't believe I just called the Thomson. So Deutsche US minor. That was obsessed the disease of this show right here. Yeah. Leah Thompson also respond to that and said Yep I mean, I just think that it's like no one was a true story note once you lose grip on the fear, you are the power you had over I mean, and it's funny because then you have scooter Braun coming out her being like Ellen is great. I. Love Allen is like so people still. Look at the people coming out and say L. Like scooters, hedging his bets at this, all go away and back to normal and Ellen will still be powerful and whatever, and then you have people speaking out i. just it's a fascinating reveal of a monolith almost kind of crumbling that you didn't think would ever. Be exposed like this. I didn't. It seems like Palmer is getting a lot of A lot of press over like a lot of tweets being could replace. Ellen is trending key Palmer got a lot. Tiffany haddish. Got A lot that woman who does the like trump impersonations? What's her name? Sarah? Cooper. She got a lot of people tweeting about her I mean, I think it's just bomber just someone who someone who actually. Got Some tweets booing reply Oh doodoo be from drag race also got A. Drag. Race. Got I. saw that. Yeah. But I think he palmer when you when you want someone who has like the resume as well like. You of don't WANNA, pick someone random like Sarah Cooper. As funny as she is on twitter, because like her her her skills as a as an interviewer, not proven whereas Kiki, Palmer is a link interviewer host. Yeah I mean I would say like the Ellen slots, big slot made we just move up the ladder. We get Kelly Clarkson in that slot. We get Drew Barrymore Kelly was and we get key. Palmer. Work. Curse, lot I know these are all people on different network. So it makes literally no sense but you. Better like we. We cannot confuse the audience. We must replace the Ellen show with someone named. Ellen. Ellen Ellen. Page's like don't look at me like another gay. Just like I will not I will. Zone POMPEO, she wouldn't do it. I. Don't I don't need Elon Pale. Ellen Page Ellen Popular, and Never Would Ellen Pompeo every interview Ellen Pao's ever done. It's been like I. Love Grey's Anatomy I. have nothing but free time like. She will never do that. You know who would do it. Who Ellen Barkin? Embark and all Ellen Barkin wants is a soapbox like did someone say soapbox?

Very right in saying that the Greek heroes where the original superheroes! In part because of the hopeful nature of genes vision, but also because of its message of diversity and inclusion. Director and actor Leah Thompson looks back on back to the future. Engine that for a young actress. It'd be really break down your performance I, mean you're playing this character and her descendants and future descendants at different stages of age, and that when you look back, and you and you separate all the different performances that was pretty amazing for a young actress to pull that off. Obviously Robertson, Mechta saw something new could do it. Yeah with a great part. It was just a great part. I feel so lucky to be mostly known for a part that is. That was just great and I really was good in it We're very good. Yes, I did pull off all the different incarnations. I mean that's an interesting kind of. Be An interesting acting assignment for anybody to put off different. You know like if your life went a different way how you would be. Stated Minnesota. If I would? You, know married that person. How would I be if I? If I was eighty hour. You know it was it was interesting. Just, so I'm so grateful that. That was. That I got that part. Seven year old rain, and then in eighteen year old and then. The, great, grandma and then you know so. Yeah, it was all I can say. It was a great experience yeah. It's something I remember Robertson. MEKA's saying to me. I said Yeah. He said you know what I feel. Happy knowing that that that's my middle name. I was like I. Know I know Leeann back to the future Thompson. was there was things you did with your voice? To kind of you know kind of Hook, the audience, a little bit like he would add at the beginning. You, know that kind of thank you know. Those are tricky. Scenes had to be like. Oh, you're safe and sound back and good, old, nine, thousand, nine, hundred, fifty five. Exactly. That's nice that you notice that. No and but Robertson ACA. Such precise director give those precise directions, and you know I remember this one moment that they just like suffered over when I was kissing my goal in the car. And they suffered, they couldn't figure out how to shoot it and wanted one. I'd open up and they. Couldn't. You know when I'm kissing him and I go want to one I'd opened up. He had things like so specific in his mind. And it was. It was hard when you couldn't exactly deliver it exactly the way he wanted it. Yeah, and we just sit there and his chair and just giggle you know. Things went right. He's like Oh, just gig. Gleeful and When his vision was. You know executed or when you add something to it. And you know of your your Co Star who played your husband in the film and boyfriend at all different stages to Crispin Glover, I mean he was terrific and. Look what he did on Beowulf. Robert and in doing the carry character that he did on that film Of crandell. He was amazing in that. I was really surprised that he gave him that part. Yeah, because they had such A. Whatever happened was not so great. Oh, wow, that's interesting well because they didn't put him in back the feature, two or three. Yeah, that's right. That's right them. That's right. That's right. Yeah, I remember. That they buried the hatchet. Yeah, yeah, that's good. That's good, but Yeah. The the movies are classics, and they're there to watch and again. That's amazing. That's incredible. You know yes, now I'm the age that I was supposed to be his mother. I'm really I'm really hoping someone like comes to me with like. Let's compare the makeup and see. How I? How if they got the makeup right? I think I think you did better than makeup. Seen this last movie you did better than to make up. Trust me, thank. I thought that's what a macguffin macguffin is something that only lives in the world of the movie, and it doesn't exist like, in Casablanca just the letters of transport that they were all getting, there's no such thing as let, like there'd be letters have not to be like, oh, you've got the letters of transport you right?
