"Young man. He never caused any trouble. Hundreds of demonstrators have gathered in Akron this weekend to protest. A grenade of an NBA icon LeBron James tweeted out, I pray for my city today. Walker's family and city leaders are urging protesters to remain peaceful. You can watch the police body camera video we have it for you now at WTO P dot com. I member of the House committee investigating the January 6th attack on the U.S. capitol says the panel is not shying away from the possibility that former president Trump could face criminal charges. In a taped interview with ABC correspondent Jonathan Karl, representative Liz Cheney, who is vice chair of the January 6th committee, says the hearings will continue to show why a former president Donald Trump should not run again. A man is dangerous as Donald Trump can absolutely never be anywhere near the Oval Office ever again. That interview aired on ABC's this week with George Stephanopoulos. Meanwhile, on Fox News Sunday, another Republican governor Tate Reeves of Mississippi says, most Americans are not watching the hearings. Naomi Osaka Offends Swahili Speakers

"Naomi Osaka, the kind of player who is just a real big pain in the ass. I like to fire up cross court shot of her face, Naomi Osaka announced last week that she's partnered with LeBron James company Spring Hill to start a new media company. A media company from the girl who doesn't want to talk to the media. And you explain that to me? Naomi Osaka expressed the hope that it would produce TV shows and documentaries and branded content. Again, this is the fraud who doesn't like attention thrust on her. This is the woman who had to step away from competitive tennis for her mental health sake. She said, and then she went on to do a few magazine covers and went to the Met ball in New York City, dressed like a fucking peacock with feathers in her hair. Don't believe anything she says. Now get this, the name of a new venture, she called it Hannah kuma, what she said means flower bear in Japanese. Hold that, hold it because it didn't take long for the Japanese Haitian Osaka to discover, oh, that phrase has another meaning in Swahili in Swahili. I'm not even sure why we care about this Swahili content, but it's why Healy it translates to women with that of a giant. Let's not forget there are 200 million people who speak Swahili, which is the majority of East Africa. So dozens of losers on Twitter in Africa piled on her and they begged her, they urged Osaka to this reconsider that name. They called it offensive. Of course they did. Of course they did. Everybody's offended now by something.

Kyle Rittenhouse Shares Some Major Life Updates

"So you have a couple announcements that you want to make here on this program. And the first of which is let's kind of talk about what you could talk about with the lawsuit stuff. Let's start there. So are you are you able to talk a little bit about the lawsuit stuff? Well, what I will say is that we hired Todd mcmurtry, Nick Sandman's attorney to help with these lawsuits and that we're going to be taking on some cases really soon. You know, I'm just saying, but new report out, Kyle, LeBron James of billionaire now. Oh. Just, I don't know if that's helpful. I don't know if that might be something that you guys might want to take a look at. But he could definitely pay. LeBron's got a lot of money. And then the other thing is, I was actually in, I was actually in Texas a couple of weeks ago, touring a couple campuses. My Dave has some really good friends out there, so we went out there and there are really connected with Texas a and M and toured the campus. He's ready to make. This is like, he's ready to make it. Wow, everybody. It's a big deal. Right here in the Charlie Kirk show. Kyle rittenhouse is announcing that he's an Aggie. So I'm going to be going there and it's going to be awesome. Beautiful campus, amazing people, amazing food. We went to Dixie's check in there. Best burgers ever. That's why he's going. Dixie's checking, everybody. Now, do you know what they say at a and M? They say. And you know how they say hello, they say, howdy, howdy. So there you

What Is the State of Interracial Marriage?

"I was talking about this in my last segment and people, you know, people who have mixed emotions about this. So LeBron James, his son, took a white girl to prom, LeBron James took a white girl to the prom, but the thought process is that what do you think about interracial marriages? Do you think interracial marriages are something that is because of race or do you think it's because of culture? What's your thoughts Larry? I don't really put a whole lot of thought into it. I think people choose people based upon whether or not they feel compatible, whether or not they feel that they have the same kind of values they have. And today in our society, I don't think anybody cares. I'm in California and I make one in every 5 marriage in California is considered to be an interracial marriage. They are increasing. So I don't think anybody cares. Now the LeBron James was interesting to me because Brandon, when I look at some of the comments, many of them were vicious comments that came apparently from black people. Now, you don't know who wrote them, could be somebody sitting in their shorts. In their basement, welcome to blunt. So it's hard to say exactly who wrote what, but some of the stuff appeared to come from black people.

LeBron James' Son Drug on Socials for Prom Date

"I am going to say something crazy controversial and some people are going to be mad at me, but I don't care because Jesus is behind me, who can be against me. I know it's not cliches, but it's true. I don't really care what people think. Now, the survey was, I don't have the papers with me. I can't find them. You can look it up yourself. You should be verifying everything I say. Polls show that Americans believe that black people are probably the most racist people out of any other group in America. And I would imagine that hatred evilness and racism is a disease that plagues every single race. However, when you have an environment where one race has the opportunity or have the opportunity to be racist and nobody checks them, they begin to run rampant. Why do you come up with this saying Brandon? And why did you come up with this concept? Why are you citing these polls? Because I just saw something that I thought was the most racist thing I've ever seen coming from black folks. LeBron James, his son, went the prom, with a white girl. Now, any other rational person in America would say, who cares? I don't care. If the man liked the girl, then so be it. You'd rather be with somebody you liked than somebody that looked like you that you don't like. However, you go to the Instagram of a huge Instagram channel called a neighborhood. They call it black Instagram. It's where most of the black issues of America, of our time, they posted on there. They talk about it. A lot of it is degeneracy. However, they are criticizing LeBron James 18 year old son for taking his white girl to the prom. And I think that he looks magnificent. I think she's absolutely gorgeous. They look like a great couple. They look like they had a good time. However, I'll read some of the comments for you guys because people are just out of control. Now my wife wrote a comment and she got 82 likes, probably everybody that followed me saw my wife's comment and liked it 'cause all these black chicks on here are mad is I don't know what. First comment, oh lord. Next comment. We already knew where this was going.

"lebron james" Discussed on Lakers Nation Podcast

"If he gets drafted to a team that has all the cap space in the world, they can work something out. But whichever team drives brawny gets LeBron. That's the bottom line. And I'm fascinated to see what this means for bronies drafts. I don't think we've ever seen this before. In the NBA draft, so I'm interested to see we're still a couple of years away, but I'm interested to see what this does to his draft stock. Does this bump him up simply because that team gets LeBron? You're not just drafting brownie. You're getting the final year of LeBron's career most likely. Who knows? Maybe you know what? He said he just wants to spend whatever the last year of his career is with brownie. Maybe he decides 2028 is going to be the final year and that's when they go team up. You never know. But right now, the way most of us are reading it as though, okay, 2024, maybe that's it for him. If you are a random team, let's say you are the Sacramento Kings, you're a team that hasn't made a lot of money, you're a team that hasn't made the playoffs in a while. You're a team that doesn't have a very positive air around them. Don't you have a little bit more incentive to do what you need to do in order to get brawny and then you will get the final year because think about all the attention think about all the revenue that's going to be on your franchise because you got LeBron James for the final year of his career. Wouldn't that matter? So I think that's why I don't see the Lakers being his final landing spot in the NBA. It's possible. Maybe the Lakers wind up drafting brownie. There's something that something happens there, and that works out. Maybe that's the way it goes down. But LeBron made a very clear, very matter of fact, whichever team drafts brawny, that's where he's going to play..

"Not just football, better line is promo college troops and HL box and UFC. Favorite Vegas casino games? I want to see bob Ryan in Vegas. That's what I want. Really? That's a reality show. But a lot is the fastest and easiest way to bet on all your favorite sports that align with stuffed with deals of Thanksgiving. Thank you better in line for making this show possible. All right, guys, to me, the big story is, you know, LeBron James. Okay, we saw the video. We saw the incident Isaiah Stewart gets two games, which I can't believe that's all they got. That's beyond me. And LeBron James. Bob, I want to start with you about the altercation, you know, LeBron elbows the guy, didn't look attention. LeBron turned around and said, my bad, but Stuart goes crazy. And all your years of covering this league, how bad was this? Well, let's start with the incident. I mean, let's talk about the background. My first question was what was there something leading up to this? Was there a reason why LeBron James went out of character? He is not known for anything like this ever. Did I know of, okay? Right. He's not known for this. So was there something that started done earlier? And he said, all right, I had enough kid. I'm going to show you who's boss. Don't mess around with the king. Or something. I don't know. Okay, no, but look so that's a B and LeBron. It's nothing that LeBron is known for. Okay. He did it, though. And then it appears and certainly that's what his teammates think and I know in the Davis we saw the soundbite from him afterward said the bond immediately want to say, I'm sorry, okay, let's go. If that's the case, now everything is on Stewart. Yes, he's bleeding. Yes, this was I'm going to pick my words carefully. I've been covering this league directly for 52 years. Since 1969. I have never seen him terrifying person at the moment on the floor. Even including people who have thrown actual punches, you know, which you never got to do. You know, but that was a frightening, terrifying individual a large, powerful young man. Listed at two 50. God knows what he weighs who had a look of just frenzy. They couldn't subdue him. He wouldn't let it go. Wouldn't let it go. What triggered that? That's what I want to know. I don't know. Jeff, I watched him and I liked him in college and by the way, I thought he was and I have no idea he kind of reputation of any kind, Jeff, you would. Bob, I will tell you, he is the nicest kid the most soft spoken kid you will ever meet. He's 20 years old. I've spent an hour with him two years ago at Washington and I could not have been more impressed with Isaiah Stewart as a human being high character. Any anybody you talk to about Isaiah Stewart? Those are the first words that will come to their mouth. This high character, sweet, innocent, almost too nice off the court, but when he gets on the court. He is a man. Like he plays with a motor. "Would nba nba superstar. Why do you feel you need to say something like that. In the sports form it just comes natural to me And you know for me personally. i know all come from you know grownup inner city in akron akron. Ohio and i know the challenges that kids have and in our society to become as great as it should be. I think it starts from the ground up and it starts in our communities are communities going back into our communities and our resources using our knowledge. You know anybody can lend money or anybody can go give an appearance but i think actually being there and them seeing you gives them it gives the key hope and you know without the kids. We have no future so they it just comes natural to me and understand what they go through. I'll walk the same streets them. Yeah breathe the same air as those kids. I know what they go through. You know growing up in tough situation. So i think it's very important follows you you. You got into wheels for education. I mean that was really your your first foray into this independently you. You didn't have a way to get to school when you were a kid. You struggle getting school and so you started a program to help kids out and now you start with third grader. Wife owed raiders specifically well between myself and my office in my foundation. We read upon it and the statistics. Show that if kids get behind in the third grade and a lease amount of chance for them to graduate high school. What's ladder so ladder is a supplement is a powder form supplement. That you put into water has electrolytes we also have Like pre and post workouts. So what happened was the two thousand twelve by caught cramps during the nba. Finals and my legs. I could not get the cramp route. So i was able to work with some Scientists from harvard and other institutions. Able to find all organic product that helps out with electrolytes and to the system faster and it stopped. I haven't had haven't had that problem and nine years. After i want some of that we have to. You guys got it recorded here. I'm going to you guys love that. Lebron i wanna know like you know everybody associated with the obvious things that we see the talent and basketball the talent on the screen when you decide to address what is the thing that would be so surprised. Like would i ever find you at the hollywood bowl. Listening to some classical music was funny that you say that i love classical music like if you if you were to happen to pull up on a side and be when. I'm not in the dark dark car you could catch me out of light. Listen and says some old beethoven mozart. Come on that's as opposed to the new ones. I'm fully. i'm fully addicted to that stuff. And so shaun. Shaun classically trained pianist. Right yeah And that's cool. I love that now. Are you ever listening to classical music on your headphones. As you're getting ready to play or you listen to something. That's that gets gets a blood flow in a little bit more now listening to some get the blood flow a little bit more for sure for sure and that changes each game or is there like a to that. If you you need to really get it going like who is it. You wanna share it. It's not it's like it changes. It's not going to you know you know. I'm listening to a lot of like hardcore hip hop you know it could be like the wu tang or it'd be like You know some some some early diem eggs some nwea you know. I wanna get into a real or even like eminem like when he was doing his thing like a high level too. So like you know. Tap into a to a whole 'nother. I'm not the father at home with the kids. Lebron when tap into that mode. I'm ready for war. War should listen to our podcast before the game. Coming in give you the fighting spirit. Tell us a little bit about about space jam before we before we let you go. You've been very generous with your time. But i'm very very curious about about this because that's that was a great first film this this this one is Pick up where it left off. How is it. How's it different than what is different First of all totally different from the first one that came out twenty five years ago. But i was very intimidated just from when i got when a script came to me and i'll set it on my desk. I was very intimidated. Because i understand you know the legacy behind the first one. I know i was. I was one that was like at all of it. I was twelve years old or eleven when it first came out and love the looney tunes. Obviously my ass for michael jordan is out of his world so very intimidated. But i was able to get myself to a point where i was like. I wanna i wanna do this. I felt like you know the space jam. Legacy is so iconic is so great. I wanted to be a part of the legacy and obviously the movie is now called. A legacy is kind of how about but We were able to. I worked with a great director of malcolm. Lee don cheetos is in a film as well opera. He's so i love him. He's helped me out a lot when we're all set but i just dove into it. I gave everything to all that green screen. And all that. I need you to look over here and just trust later. We're gonna we're gonna paint in a little character. You gotta look at like a little stand with an x. On it it's like working with just a nightmare right sean. Or the green screen. Green screen gives more. It was a nightmare the first few weeks. Of course it's weird right it so he's super weird because they're like no no no you're you're you're you have to be looking up so is that was that like a three picture deal or we're going to see how the first one goes or what did you do. Is it just the one. no no. it was just the one But i mean. Let's i'll be hearing so much about people's reaction to a so far. It has actually seen a movie so far screen. And so you know warner you know wants to Tackle it again. I wouldn't mind trying to see. We could fit the right script in and and keep it going but i think this one is gone on surprise a lot of people. This is a family movie as a family movie with a lot of last obviously a lot of looniness dealing with the damn tunes they daughter excited about it or are yourself or what. My daughter is super excited about it She doesn't know. I mean she's too young to know about the original tunes but now because of our dads she's getting back into the sat and was she like. Wow look yup. My my whole family stopped by set. You know a few times and they just like wow and my boys are sixteen fourteen. They only care about how. Cool that the person that's playing them in the movie. Looks like daddy look like me as he wear. My hairstyle is dressed in a right way. Like i don't want to buy plan me. Not lonely kassim actors to play your son's yes. We cast actors to kind of look like my family. We changed the names but they are yes. I got older son younger son and a daughter and a wife in the movie. so yes. that's kinda. Your kids didn't have approval over that casting. No i didn't let them because they would've took too long to work and after after a long hours did you mix them up. All the kids much almost fixing family whole ones logs on fixing to whitehall was good. Yeah right so so lebron. Let me ask you after all this stuff and everything. You're doing get back to to basketball. You've had a lot of the lakers already. I don't wanna put you on the spot. But i mean you could conceivably just keep going. You're so good at what you do. You're still the top of the game. How long do you see yourself playing for the lakers. And how cool is it. Playing for the lakers. At great storied franchise. Yeah i may. I truly hope that. I can finish my career with the lakers. And how many years that is if this is four five six whatever said we all continue to play a game you know. I love being in. La my family loves being la. Being historical franchise like the lakers or something like is like me being a space jam now. I never thought it'd be possible. You'd think about kareem magic and will in jay west and elgin baylor. Kobe shack off. The whole list goes on and louis k lewis case. You did a great louis case. The greatest lakers fan of all time. Greatest well lebron. Can't thank you enough for spending some time with us. Really exciting thrill. We're all huge huge fans of yours and Feel very very flattered that you each spent some time with us so thank appreciates as the wheel shot. Appreciate me you guys purchase. Oh man yeah. I'm a guy that gets comfy couch glass of wine on accounts for sure. Now do you let your watch r. rated comedies. Do my boys do. How old were they when you let them start to watch stuff. That was. Really kind of edgy edgy comedy. Because i'm done dealing with that right now with my fourteen year old daughter. I'll i'll let my boys start watching around like ten eleven years old. Yes my daughter can watch certain but not out on her watch. She's only six going on seven so i'm away to get a little older. Where are you on cursing. My kids have jobs what you do. So why can't you do that with us. Where are you with that. The kids kids soma boys are. They have an exception to the rule of cursing when they're playing sports. So they can i one. There's playing sports. yes because yes. They could curse when they plans force. Because there's a lot of emotion. I get it you know. But then you get teed up right know. They could get teed up but they don't my kids. Don't mess with the revs much but like if they miss an assignment say fuck or like or something to have a damn shit like know but my older son and his past tournament over the former july weekend kid was talking a little smack to him and he told her. Fuck off and laughing i. I thought that was hilarious. I saw you in that tournament. And the reason i saw you is because it was on like one of the on the internet and i'm thinking like who's letting these photos be taken of this high school basketball game like what is going on all by photographers or yes. Yes there was phones. They really had no there. Were families with big lens. Cameras like the onset really trying to capture this stuff and sell it to the internet yet. They they yeah. Yeah so yeah. Maybe should turn around. Tell them to fuck off a page out of my son's book so so so fi spills a cereal in the house and he says goddamn and son of a bitch. That's not right. He's got to go to his room. Hey what the hell you sorry to punish him. What what are the punishments with my kids got it. You take away the ipad and that that straightens about what's what's the kryptonite. There retried taken away his video game system before okay. He still had his phone right. And then what is phone okay. Did he had his at his ipad. Yeah didn't he had his desktop if you didn't have his desk. Desktop sitting up to the room is actually not a punishment. I love the way by the way as you were talking about growing up. You kept saying we. You know that the people were around. You're saying we have an opportunity we have in our. You know we we gotta keep going. We gotta keep doing the things the way that you were part of something and that you relied like as you talked about these people that you leaned on it love that you talked about in that we. I think it's so important to have that kind of support system but as you talk to kids who don't have the shot that you had as you. What do you say to those kids who are like look man. I hit the lottery. I had a tremendous amount of skill. I great people around me. I'd god given gifts and i had the willpower to do it. That was the perfect storm. That's not going to be the experience for ninety nine point. Nine percent of the kids no question no question about. That's the one thing that we have at my school here. we don't. we don't even have a basketball complex at my school. You know but we have. We have art. We have art room. We have a music lab. We have a technology lab work computers. So we're we're we're all every single day acts our kids. What do you want to do. A lot of them say sports but a lot of them like listen. I wanna be a doctor you know so we have. Doctors come in to talk to our kids a lot of say okay. I want to be a cop. You know we got cops you know obviously at the front door when they walk in and so kind to our kids and they can talk to them and give them guidance. Like what do you want to be like. what do you want to be. What's your ass rate. What are your dreams. You might not even know what your aspirations are right now but you do have dreams. We all had dreams about what we wanted to be. So you know if it's something that they have passionate about we try to bring it to the school and try to give them the resources to in. Let's let's see if we can tap into it and it might. You might fail. have i one you know. Let's try it again or you might say i. Let's try something else in us all about being a kid. You try so many things until you finally figure out okay. Oh this is what i wanna do. They'll try to give them the resources. That's that's my whole thing. I want to just give them the resources to be tapping so whatever they want to do. I love that now. I wanna i wanna ask you stuff about playing in the game because you know i played basketball when i was a kid and i was like. I don't like buying. No i did and i was like when everybody when we go way. You're lebron you're describing playing basketball. I was a kid. I play about your experience play basketball. And whenever there was a rebound and everybody would run to the end of the other opposite end of the court. I go go do you guys go. I'll catch. I'm right behind him. I'm so close. I'm just gonna take a beat but i'm writing but wait but i look because i've been a couple of lakers game live. I was lucky enough to have courtside seats and seeing seeing seeing you play live and seeing the whole team player is so much more thrilling than tv but tv sterling to but to see it live is just unbelievably exciting. And and i. I couldn't even possibly begin to understand how you do what you do. But here's the thing. Here comes the question guys. It's worth the wait.

Mom worked on and off. You know my whole childhood so you know. Every day was kind of a struggle for us as a family. So i felt if i ever was even put into position. This is also part of my inspiration to growing up. I was ever put in a position. Rock succeed at doing anything. And i can make any kind of dollars anything as far as capital That i want to give a lot of it back. I wanna give You know a lot of a back to mock community. Because i understand what those kids are going through on a day to day basis. Because i've walked those same streets of tackle dose same corners. I know the hardships of what a single parent household kid ca- feel like and the pressures the adversity and all that stuff that comes with so and to see that change change of happened from your efforts. It's gotta be unbelievably rewarding. I mean yeah we hear. Some of the family sean. Will you know you guys. I mean just to see some of the. He's come until you know. Either you know the falcons he members is that my school or the teachers that op changed their lives or tell my mother because now my mom is huge into the foundation and she welcomes allotted. I she part of it. what yes. She's a. She's like one of the head advisory boards of my foundation where basically have an apartment complex here is where i welcome a lot of the underprivileged families and and we set the mobile room and board that we're not in a position where they can afford they all living so You know it's pretty cool. Mom welcomes all these families in. That's awesome says she second like an ambassador. Yeah exactly exactly but you say you came. You know you talk about your own childhood and wreck to recognize. Look i really struggled. And so i wanna be able to give back and really do it in a way in a really practical way a lot of people talk about it but you actually to it you know. Look at sean. Sean grew up. You had a tougher childhood and stuff and you turn your back on your community. You've kept things simple. Imagined spends his money on. And i said i send people truly free them. Yeah and jason doesn't know what the jason jumped align famously in line for the first iphone so we all have our own. Let me just lebron. You could've incarnation of the point. Is this my point is you could have gotten you've had you've had so much success. You could have just sailed away on a yacht and never looked back. He's finding time to do that too right. We get some hours each year. Yes we just hours at relax. We'd have you been on a yacht with lebron and you have how to get to the daily mail right so so you're a kid so your kid you're hanging out and you're thinking boy. If i can ever get this jump shot to really go down in a consistent way. I might be able to get myself to a place where i could either get outta here or stay here and help give back to this. What was the moment when you thought yourself. Oh you know what this is going to work. And i think i've got a very realistic chance of making it. And now i'm starting to think about what i'm gonna do if i do. Make starting your plans about philanthropy and you know. A lot of kids fantasize in school. When i'm older. I want to be a teacher so i don't have to do any of the score i can like. What was that moment like. And what were those first few plans you remember. That was there for like the beginning of my junior year i was sixteen years old. I'm right after my sophomore year in the summer. Going into my junior year. I was on the cover of sports illustrated. That'll do they. They dumped me. The chosen one at sixteen years old and pressure no pressure right right and the jinx of the cover on top of it all right and instead cover it a so a lot of nba execs. We're talking and they were saying that. You know if i entered the draft you know right now could beat the number one pick and you know but you know what those so i felt like i seen the success that i was having and the reason that i knew i wanted to come back and give back to my community is because i knew the success that i was having yes ahead to do with my god given abilities and my talent and he put in the work but the support that i had for my coaches and my friends and my mom they stayed on my ass everyday like listen and this is this is what we do and we all listen. We have an opportunity to make this beard and even other people are saying. That's not fuck it up like. Oh you know so you know. It's tough when a sixteen year old because less than me and my friends we wanna do. We know first year in. We want to go to house parties. We want to go you know. Hang with other high school kids and do kid things but you know right. Jason knows about the kid things driving off the warner brothers. Lot when you're sixty but listen. But with the brian with your kids your own kids. What an incredible story you have to pass down to them about your struggle and then how you turn it around and how you're giving back. Is it something that they get. If they don't get it to. You grinded in their brains. You got to keep looking at me. You gotta keep blinking my star. You have got to learn how to give back. I mean it's so cool to have a dad that that does all that there's absolutely nothing. I can do nothing. I could do to give them the same moment or aspirations or like us ri- that i had to. I mean you can't teach ambition. No i i grew up in akron. Ohio in in the inner city and the hood is what we call it. The projects and my kids are growing up for years in miami on south beach. And now for five years and brentwood. So you know when we we're here for those four year. When i was in cleveland they were younger. You know we're in. We're now in the suburbs. So i went to public schools and challenge in public schools until i got to high school because of my basketball ability but these kids are growing up in private school so the one thing that i can do is still the morals and what we do in his house. Yeah and this is how you need to represent yourself when you leave the house as a young man. I got two boys two teenage boys. I've got a daughter. I seven years old. So you give them the blueprint and then you gotta let them. You know we i. I hope that they have some adversity. You know they need some hardships. They hope they find some along his way. Because you really only know who you are and you only going to be over to come back from situations because the best teacher life is experienced. Yeah and i bet you lean on mom a lot to write. Your wife of white is incredibly important to with all the time you spend it on the road. I mean i. The three of us know as well. The amount of time you spent away from home is is immense and you really have to lean on your your partner To like my.

"God so yeah let's get to it. This is not sure if you guys are aware but this is our fifty second episode which means we have at one year started the nonsense fifty two weeks. He's gotta amazing. It's incredible remember when we first started talking about doing this. Yeah i do. Yeah i thought it was really just going to be Three four five weeks. Maybe something like that And then we'd Coverted will be over and we'd be back to our Our day jobs But Got this is Thank you everyone for listening. Yeah thanks for. Letting will sean. And i continue to visit with one another every week. Come into the friendship alive for me. It it It really spending this last year with you guys in this way even more than the normal is been really great sort of antidote to otherwise not amazing year and Being able to hang out with you guys has been fucking a real savior to me anyway for my mental health. I really mean that. Likewise it's been a nice thing to be able to count on once a week. I feel so lucky to Be even closer to you guys and have this experience to echo what will said together and And the opportunity to laugh together which to me is life and it's not just the three of us. Obviously it's our it's our whole team and the other part of that team is bennett. Barbara cow and rub arm yar and michael terry but we always know that. Rob rob's name is always rob amir erm nerve. Is that how you said sean. Because jc i. I like to say that. The phonetic way i like saying rob amd j of. That's how it's spelled. Yeah that's what. I'm saying instead of erm europe because even he doesn't know how you're supposed to say like he doesn't even know how to say rob o. He doesn't know how to say. The robert bennett barbeque. That's easy to say michael terry. That's easy to say. Yeah but they make it happen. Those guys are fucking champs in honestly it's It wouldn't be here without though i wanna see. I wanna see the socials lineup and appreciation for bennett. Robin michael truly honesty sincerely thank you to Anyone who has been spending some time with us and guess Letting us keep the the lights on. As i think they say yeah and putting up with our nonsense in knowing that. We're you're having fun just like you guys honestly lead. You guys. Don't have to pay for this. It's free it's priced right But we can. But we can't announce right. Jason officially say that we are going to do a smart lists tour alive. You're smart lewis tour or going into going on tour. We are going to six cities. In north america. We have a ton to discuss dates. Venues even especial promo code for our listener a But but that's too much to make our guest wait for so that's going to be at the end but right now we gotta get to. What might be our greatest of all time. Oh have with us. Someone that would be best described as a true force. He's taken the gifts he's been given and the influence he holds and pointed them towards a full menu of things that are truly too long to mention in an intro however a couple to throw out there would be the creation of a world class elementary school and a family foundation. He's part owner will of one of the world's most famous soccer teams. What and he has starred in five films. He's married to his high school sweetheart. He has three kids. He was recruited to play football by notre dame but instead this fool took a gamble on basketball where he just can't seem to find any success guys. Please meet mr. Lebron james did i have you full jason. That's pretty good. You've never been introduced like this before right. People go on about is a good one. Oh my god but truly let me tell you something. Lebron going through and i don't do a lot of research as the guys will attest my will go to a wikipedia page though your page is more of a book and i just i just hit f. It real quick. I didn't know where to begin with so much stuff. But truly this stuff about philanthropy and family and all that stuff. We're going to get into. Because i think everyone else knows the other stuff but men go ahead. Will you got something to say. First of all. I was going to say i just took off. I was wearing a lakers. T shirt this is crazy. I just took it off. Because i worked out. And you don't wanna get into my workout routine lebron. Because he'd love to the shoulders you know they don't quit. I mean i've tried to feel natural. Yeah but what about what about the liverpool element. That was a real shocker to me. That's not a smart guy but we'll did you know that wills a huge soccer fan the bright read that i'm a big liverpool big liverpool supporter. And i have been for a number of years in friendly with a bunch. But i had read that you were part owner which is so crazy. Because i'm like another thing. That lebron i have in common. Oh yeah shoulder is soccer to shoulder four. Two sodas and liverpool brian. I have to say this is. This is especially exciting for me. Because i know who you are. Yeah we we've had a few athletes on the show. And sean just goes starts playing candy crush and we pick it up After the the guest goes away thrilling. I i can't believe You're here. This is so exciting. I have so many things. I want to say to ask that. I just thought about one of the things is. You're such an incredible jason's right. You are a force and you've been such an incredible you're so iconic already which is which is crazy because you're you're still relatively young man A lot younger than we are. We can his dad. We could be established. You've done you've done so much and it's and it's so impressive to watch you do it and you do it with such. There's a grace about you. The part of the problem. I think about being on top and i wouldn't know but part of the problem is that you are subjected to a lot of you know slings and arrows you know from from people from all sides not the least of which is i think every year since you got drafted people are like. Who's the greatest of all time is like they have. There's a coal every six hours. Espn will put it on their page. Like and who is lebron greater than michael. Jordan's like guys he's lebron. he's his own person that that shit must get exhausting. Be honest it must be exhausting. Can't can't be exhausted. We i mean you said it but You know i've always looked at it like anytime you compared or you even mentioned what the grates that ever played his game. It's become humbling for me. 'cause you know the same people. They put me in a category with or saying compared as compared to that guy or the same guys that i looked up to for inspiration when i was growing up and i needed to in growing up in the inner city here in akron. Ohio so You know to have the michael jordan's and to have the kobe. Bryant's to have ken griffey. Juniors and dion sanders autos unbelievable sports figures. You know when when i needed it you know they helped me so it's like wow you guys are preparing me. These greatest players that i've ever seen when i was growing up as such humbling man. Yeah the stats will certainly put you in that category without even trying. but what. You've what you've done off the court the stuff you don't need to do but you find yourself drawn to do. And as a result of your success on the court has given you access to do in the capital to do. I find really really admirable I'm envious of it There's a there's a drive though that that has to fuel that because you're tired i'll bet doing the stuff that is your day job. How do you find jason starred tired for you. I'm sure you have a great infrastructure of people that can identify some charitable endeavors. That are worthy of your time and the attention that you can put on them I'm sure you rely on them a bit. But a lot of that's got to be your own self drive and to motivate those people to be diligent in how they assess certain charitable organizations and whatnot. Where does that drive. Come from.

"The society can't take those things away because those were on the input end. See saying we used to think we used to believe in this input end the inalienable natural rights. He says but now there's something else has taken its place. I'm going to back up like one sentence. Stop doing this for one. Step back thing. I'll try. But i just want this to be real clear at the beginning. He says they have all been equipped with this framework early on in its the modern replacement for the inalienable natural rights that used to be the traditional american grounds for a free society that it is a moral issue. Now we're coming to the moderate. Listen remember he said it was important right. He said this is a moral postulate. It's not just. It's not just an insight. It's a postulate and it's not just that it's a posture. It's moral postulate. Okay that it is a moral issue. He says for students is revealed by the character of their response when challenged. It's a combination of disbelief. And indignation are are you absolutist. The only alternative they know uttered in the same tone as what are your monarchist. You believe in witches this ladder leads into indignation. He says for someone who believes in witches might. Well be a witch hunter or a salem judge. That's where indignation stems from right. He says the danger they've been taught to fear from here please. I don't want to pass. we're getting. I told you i'm not gonna read much you got. This has to go when this happens. It has to go shing. So just i'm working for. I'm working for something here. The danger they have been taught to fear from. Absolutism is not error but intolerance remember earlier. We talked about the chinese government's response to der tweet in the weird conflation that they make between appropriateness and factual erroneous nece. So what's false. Now is what's intolerant and the things that we should be tolerant of are determined by these masters who have told us that was falls as intolerant right. See the complete conflation of truth. Some other pragmatic practical prudential relevant relativistic consideration appropriateness. As determined by whatever gone is the notion of truth. But again i'm not doing. I'm not doing the standard stick here about who was saying that truth is relative is contrary. It is a contradiction side to make that voice. That's true that's perfectly valid point. But that's not what i'm doing here. This is not the master argument. Okay i want you to listen to the diagnosis here and what it helps us understand about what we've seen in the crazy ward. Call lebron james that it is a moral issue for students as revealed by the character of the response when challenged a combination of disbelief and indignation. What are you an absolutist. The only alternative they know uttered in the same tone as what you monarchist or do you believe in witches. This ladder leads into indignation for someone who believes in which might well be a witch hunter or salem judge the danger. They've been taught to fear from. Absolutism is not error but intolerance thus relativism is necessary to win this. The danger they've been taught to fear from. Absolutism is not error but intolerance relativism is necessary to openness. And this is the virtue. The only virtue with all primary for more than fifty years has dedicated itself to inculcating openness. This is my belief right. See how how lebron he wants to make all encompassing claims. He wants to make objective claims right but then we pressed that he says it was just my opinion district. Right.

"Vacations with you to players league. I mean that's not. That's not for me to understand for me to worry about a thing we got there. it is. How worried are you about future ramifications for the players or the league lebron. He going to step out and answer that. No he's gonna say that's not for me to worry about. I'm just a lowly basketball player. Here now see how. The pendulum swung again. Daryl morey is dangerously ignorant again but if he's ignorant than there's some fact he's ignorant of and if there's some fact that he's ignorant of you could just say what that fact is. You could dispel the mystery instead of just taking potshots. It doesn't do that. Deer more is dangerously ignorant and uneducated. But i don't know anything either. It's not my place to say it's like what doesn't make any sense. This back and forth this incoherent back and forth between objective castigation and judgment and subjective demurring and reservation of. What is this. I'm going to explain this to you in a minute. Okay that's again. Why i'm calling this the miseducation of lebron james. Just bear with it because the interviews almost over. But he's doing it again and you're going to see him do it again before the interview ends have a hierarchy We have a higher. The higher who figure that out think But at the end of us know we an unknown days.

"Brass had taken care of it. Lebron had more to say all right so here are lebron's comments From the time. And i think it's important to note again. I i know i just harped on this but these come as i understand it Chronologically after the the the nba had both taken a position and clarified. Its position and lebron has asked In the course of a post practice interview. I'm not sure if at this point he still in china. A lot of players were on Exhibition games over in china which was part of the whole tension Of this whole situation is that they were a lot of them. Were over there right. More made these comments in china freaked out and started pulling the plug on broadcast and events. And things like that I'm not sure if at this point he's still over there. I don't believe so nonetheless. Here are lebron's comments And i'm gonna probably probably play the whole thing but you don't need to take it all in necessarily because i'm going to draw your attention to sort of one aspect of what he says it's very important and i think that when i do think what i pointed out you're going to see it and i want us to just see this one sort of theme in what he says. Play out over the course of his comments. It's gonna be very important to what i want to say about. What is ultimately the mis. Education of lebron james and of our miseducation following our examination of this clip. So here's lebron and let me. Just see if i can locate for you. The key idea here And then i think like i said i think when we do it. It'll jump out at you. Okay so here's lebron. I think we don't initially here. We don't hear the initial question that's put to him But we can sort of imagine. What it is latino lebron's comments. I felt like this particular situation. It was something not only was Not informed enough about I just felt like it was something that not only myself from my teammates or organization Had enough information to even talk about it at that point time and we still so we sort of imagined that the question put to him here is probably. Why are you only just saying something now. Or why. didn't you say something right when things popped off right and lebron answer essentially is while at the time i didn't know enough and i didn't think it was my place. It's pretty clear now whether that's true. Not whether that's true or not whether he has different reasons for saying that doesn't matter it's saying so far it's gonna get real unclear in a moment and that's what i want to draw attention to. You'll feel the same way..

"They were like. Hey we were promised back way. Back nineteen ninety-seven we were all scared about. We were promised one party to systems. And now there's people behind the scenes match a nation's going on new laws being proposed that make make it look like it's going to be one one country one system and that's scary because that system is scary and thus came about the hong kong protests that you heard so much about back before all you heard about the coronavirus all so there's our world history. I saw it as do several things. But this a personal history with its world history. Now we're gonna do some recent american cultural history because we want to talk about how the brand names comes into this all right so we're going to do some recent sports cultural american history. Let me just give the roadmap for the show here. As long as i'm saying what we did in what we're gonna do. We're gonna talk about what happened. But lebron james response the nba's response to the hong kong protests and this whole series of events. That that flared up around this all right. We're gonna hear from lebron himself and we're gonna do some analysis of what lebron says okay and we're going to analyse lebron along two different lines about two different possible things that he means by what he says. Okay i just want us to explore avenues. I have one that i think is actually the case. They're both very interesting but the really interesting thing about this show. Is that if we just explore the second possibility. I think we can learn something really really profound and i think it's something that will just blindside you. It's a has not come into any of the scotch of this at all here to four so in a sense. It doesn't matter that i'm doing this. Show a year out from the events because lebron is opened his mouth again and provides us an occasion to explore the second avenue..

"Through the framework of what's being communicated through this film given the strictures that we know exist in this society on what can be communicated through entertainment. And how it is overseen oversaw right by the government right. What what's the author that you're trying to say with the meson sin and the subtext. What's he trying to say what she tried to say right. I mentioned that. But what i didn't mention is that when we turned on the alternating weeks to the hong kong films. There was a different question that the analyses sort of like tracked and that question was this. What is this film communicating to us by the author by the director given that this director belongs to a social environment a society. That's about to be handed from one rule to another it's nineteen ninety-six nine hundred ninety seven on the horizon right and in one thousand nine hundred seven hong kong's gonna be headed back to the chinese from britain so this distinction in other words. What's going well one question. What's going to happen to this to this distinction that we're observing between mainland films and hong kong films and given that they're not a part of the society now. What does this film that. Hong kong director is making say about the apprehension of that event. That's coming on the horizon so the segue here is that event. The handing back from british rule to chinese rule of the island of hong kong. So we gotta do a little bit of world history here right. Why are we doing all this. Because we're talking about lebron james okay but i still understand because lebron james had a lot to say a year ago and has had more to say recently about what. He's got a lot to say about everything. Lebron might have mentioned in the in. The michael jordan is a republican. The republican patriarch episode. Lebron's gotta get in the mike. "They have places to take the kids to go. Hang out all day and you can relax so it's really. It's good for families if you know if that's how you you need to travel. I've been on a few. They're fun. I like a little two day trip. I can't do you know week or ten days or two weeks in a room with no windows off. I feel very bad for for ideal. I do to really when you're on a cruise ship. Generally the quarters are not where you spend any of your time like you literally. Just GO SLEEP. Their shower change that. You're not spending any time in your room if you're going on vacation where you want a nice room. You're probably not going on a cruise ship so to be stuck in that room all day. Yeah we're thinking of you guys. We're calling that does not Colin. No last we heard from Colin. There was a there was a tweet from a hot TUB in Utah with three people. Should I hop in Hot Tub was cau- caused a big stir? I did not see the hot TUB tweet. There was the hot tub. I'M GONNA check. Maybe he was in the hot tub time machine collins going to pop up after going in the hot tub time. That's what is what we'll see. Call tomorrow here in in in her joy Taylor alongside look the weekend though were in March and it technically should be getting ready for the Ncaa Tournament Championship Week. Here on Fox sports one you watch the Big East which is three way tie for the championship. It's going to be unbelievable weekend in college basketball. Get ready for the tournament. I do think the Vegas thing is going to be fascinating right like next week from Thursday and Friday is like huge guy. Day In Vegas and you talk about America's Petri dish between the dice. The money the cards. Wash your hands and bring a small thing of hand sanitizer with you wherever you go. But you can't get that you don't hardly get a hand sanitizer. I must have all the hand sanitizer. I have lots of hand sanitizers hand sanitizers because I've been using hand sanitizer before all this started you've been using hand sanitizer your old school Hanson. Well Yeah because I travel a lot so I think that helps you. Every time I go eat anywhere. That's not my house even at my house. Actually I always wash my hands before I eat and so I always have hand sanitizer on me. Also when you go to the restroom do use hand sanitizer after opening the restroom door to go back out or did you do. The you have paper towels on my hand. Yes yes I agree with the paper towel sentiment. I just think it's interesting. That how often people wash their hands and they go in and grab the door yet. Defeat the purpose. So when you're in Vegas guys just do that. And that's it you're good. I'm not a doctor. But the number one thing everyone wash your hands lost your. Don't wash their English. I just imagine people with their surgical gloves going in and playing blackjack made while looking at this point they won't won't judge you at all so over the weekend. The Lakers took down the bucks. The Lakers took down the clippers. Suddenly Lebron James has been thrust into the MVP conversation and the Lakers are the best team in the NBA. Dammit but let's just take a breath and as much as there is needed excitement. I'd Lakers powerful brand. They have all those banners they have all those jerseys put the way it actually works. Is They don't award championships in the regular season. I know I know I know you may think otherwise I would say maybe the most. The party gives you the most hope. If you're the Lakers is a Laker fan is not just. The two wins over two championship. Caliber teams is that Lebron James athletically looked as close to his peak at thirty five as he's looked all season long in the second game as well as the first right like you can load up for one game and look great but after a day off and then he went. I think is suns game on the night off. The Sierra Canyon played think at Pepperdine he goes that game and then after the day off you go and play in a noon game twelve thirty local star time. You take on the clippers so you don't have forty eight hours even arrest. You got thirty or so hours of rest to then look that fresh that athletic and perform that well down the stretch at his age shows. This guy is remarkable in his level of physical conditioning. At this point in time and maybe any point in time in his career but we don't award championships for the NBA in March College Championships. The championship isn't until April. So I just as much as you gotta feel good. If you're the Lakers at some of the changes they've made the adjustment. They made at the half. Look they beat Milwaukee and they beat the clippers mostly because the third quarter that is on coaching. That is on adjustment says on lineup adjustments and whatever said and however they came out and attacked they were better after the half in almost golden state warriors type of way right. That's where the warriors one game. Since the third quarter they would blow your doors off and the Lakers inbal your doors off but in two competitive games they open it up and I think you can feel really really good about your chances. And that's before you get dion waiters. Who Will Give you another couple of buckets? You think off the bench ultimately when you get to the playoffs and he does have playoff experience. All that is good but you do have an older roster you do have one of your stars. Anthony Davis is seen as a bit injury. Prone Cow Kouzmin has not yet figured it out. You did get. I'm was it six threes from avery. Bradley I don't know if you can count on that in every playoff game you definitely can't count on six. How many can you count on? Considering the first half of the season he struggled mightily shooting. The basketball and the clippers did miss shots and while the pushed around the bucks and the bucks looked like a one man band just surrounded by shoes which is kind of what they are and you look like he had one all star and a bunch of other guys who kind of fed the ball to that one all star and the Lakers seen to figure out how to do a good job on Janas much the way that much the way the Miami Heat had right like the word is out on how you play them you gotta get as many likes is bodies and be as physical with as possible guests on those spin moves. That's what they've done and once he gets his head down then you can collapse. He struggles to kick it out when he gets to certain spots on the floor. Like all of that is great. But we didn't freak out when the bucks manhandled the Lakers first time around. Because we said well Lakers fourteen day road trip. They're we shouldn't be freaked out when the clippers beat the Lakers the two previous times season. Hey It's day one. Hey Lakers got nine new guys if we're going to be fair if we're GONNA have congruent arguments. If an argument is good for the Lakers the argument you get to the bucks. The argument should be good for the clippers. If we're GONNA have congruent arguments knows that this is a that was a battle. This is war. Sometimes you'RE GONNA lose battles and wars this is. We are far away from the marathon concluding as much as we would like the end of the movie to be the end of the movie. It's not we're simply in the middle and the plot has been developed. And we know when it's going to reach a crescendo. We assume it's going to be the Lakers against the clippers the Western Conference Finals. And we assume that the bucks are. GonNa be waiting in the Eastern Conference finals. But we have no idea who's GONNA be healthy. We have no idea who who is in between the Lakers and the clippers or who is between the Bucks and the Eastern Conference finals and all of these teams are fallible. And if they lose one of their starters it it does have a certain house of cards effect especially with older team like the Lakers. We quoted Danny Green on Friday about the rockets being who they thought they were. They are who we thought they were. Danny Green went on to save. You WanNA crown him crown. If you WANNA cram the Lakers fine cowboys. Mccann Crown Lebron James as the king when he walks over to the sideline after reigning supreme into epic regular season showdowns but they don't award championships based upon two games in March in the regular season in the NBA. Things are looking better for the Lakers. They are looking more competitive. They are figuring it out and Lebron still feels like he has enough in the tank to carry this team but a lot of ball game left a lot of ball game coming up next the majority of fans and media think Tom Brady has already gone from New England. But there's an important.

"To go hang out all day and you can relax, so it's really it's good for families. If you know if that's how you need to travel, I've been on a few. They're fun I. Like a little. Two Day trip I can't do you know week or ten days or two weeks in a room with no windows. Off I feel very bad for for ideal I. Do to really when you're on a cruise ship. Generally the quarters are not where you spend any of your time like you literally just go sleep their shower. Change that you're not spending any time in your room. If you're going on vacation where you want a nice room, you're probably not going on a cruise ship so to be stuck in that room all day, yeah! We're thinking of you guys we're calling. That does not Colin No? Last, we heard from Colin. There was there was a tweet from a hot tub. Look like Utah with three people. Should I hop in Hot Tub? It was co caused a big stir. I did not see the hot TUB tweet. There was the hot tub I'M GONNA check. Maybe he was in the hot tub time machine collins going to pop up after going in the hot tub time. That's what is what we'll see call. Tomorrow here in in in the her joy Taylor alongside look. The weekend though were in March and it technically should be getting ready for the NCAA tournament shaving job week here on Fox sports one you watch the big east, which is three way tie for the championship. It's going to be unbelievable weekend in college basketball. Get ready for the tournament. I do think the Vegas. Thing is going to be fascinating right like. Next week from Thursday and Friday is like huge Guy Day in Vegas, and you talk about America's Petri dish. Between the dice the money. The cards wash your hands and bring a small thing of hand sanitizer with you wherever you go. But. You can't get that. You don't harder to get a hand sanitizer. I must have all the hand sanitizer. I have lots of hand sanitizers. Have Hand sanitizers because I've been using hand sanitizer before all this started. You've been using hand sanitizer your old school Hanson well. Yeah, because I travel a lot, so. I! Think that helps you every time. I go eat anywhere. That's not my house, even at my house. Actually I always wash my hands before I eat, and so I always have hand sanitizer on me also when you go to the restroom, do use hand sanitizer after opening the restroom door to go back out, or did you do the you have paper towels on my hand? Yes, yes, I agree with the paper towel sentiment. I just think it's interesting that how often people wash their hands, and they go in and grab the door yet. Defeat the purpose so when you're in Vegas. Guys just do that and that's it. You're good. I'm not a doctor, but the number one thing everyone. Wash your hands lost your. Don't wash their English. Imagine people with their surgical gloves going in and playing blackjack made while looking. At. This point they won't won't judge you at all. So over the weekend the Lakers took down the bucks the Lakers took down the clippers suddenly. Lebron James has been thrust into the MVP. Conversation and the Lakers are the best team in the NBA dammit. But. Let's just take a breath and as much as there is. Needed excitement. I'd Lakers powerful brand. They have all those banners. They have all those jerseys. Put the way it actually works, is they? Don't award championships in the regular season I know I know I know you may think otherwise. I would say. Maybe the most. The part gives you the most hope if you're. The Lakers is a Laker. Fan is not just the two wins over to championship caliber teams. Is that Lebron James Athletically. Looked as close to his peak at thirty five, as he's looked all season long in the second game as well as the first. Like you can load up for one game and look great, but after a day off and then he went I. Think is Suns Game. On the night off the Sierra Canyon played think at Pepperdine he goes that game, and then after the day off, you go and play in a noon game. Twelve thirty local star time you take on the clippers, so you don't have forty eight hours, even arrest. You got thirty or so hours of rest to then look that fresh that athletic and perform that well down the stretch at his age. Shows this guy is remarkable in his level of physical conditioning at this point in time, and maybe any point in time in his career. But. We don't award championships for the NBA in March. We don't even college championships. The the NCAA championship isn't until April. So I just as much as you gotta feel good. If you're the Lakers at some of the changes they've made. The adjustment, they made at the half. Look they beat, Milwaukee and they beat the clippers mostly because the third quarter that is on coaching that is on adjustments as on lineup adjustments, and whenever said and however they came out and attacked. They were better after the half in almost golden state warriors type of way right, that's where the warriors one game. Since the third quarter they would blow your doors off and the Lakers inbal your doors off, but in two competitive games they open it up. And I think you can feel really really good about your chances, and that's before you get dion waiters. Who Will Give you another couple of buckets? You think off the bench ultimately when you get to the playoffs and he does have playoff experience. All that is good..

"Lebron James middle of the third quarter had a tweet, and it was man where Shams Woche Hanes mcmanamon. Those are NBA reporters he was looking for something interest. Like an NBA story because you know, the NFL super was boring and I wanted to tweet back. Were you in the finals that was a sweep wasn't the World Series? A total mismatch Red Sox. One in five was in the college football national championship game decided by thirty points. The Rams and the patriots were tied at three with a minute sixteen to go or something. I mean, how much time would he goes three to three in the fourth quarter? Yeah. Those are early fourth. It was three I it was a one possession game late. There was no fumbles. At least none recovered. There were not allowed to drop passes only twelve penalties. New England only had three defense was blowing stuff up. Listen the Super Bowl is where my wife watches. It's where fringe fans watch. And they come in anything. They're going to get this wild showcase most Super Bowls. In fact, there was a period in the eighties. We went through about a ten year period where eight of them were atrocious. Like Dallas would beat buffalo by forty yesterday. We had a Thai football game in the fourth quarter. Okay. With that. Now, it wasn't the most artistic, but I mean, it's this like it wasn't a headline SuperBowl last year was full of headlines. This was not a headline Super Bowl. But it was close, and it was competitive the World Series was unwatchable, and it was a blow out. It was a mismatch. I mean it what the NBA finals after game. One the remaining three games were unwatchable. College football national championship was a blowout. Uconn women's basketball that dynasties mostly been blowouts. We had a tie game in the fourth quarter. And you know, it's just like like most millionaires in America are not tech millionaires. Most of them have paid off their house. It's a husband and wife that both work, and they have both healthy 4._0._1._K's, but that doesn't make headlines but that seventy five percent of American millionaires. They've paid off their house they paid off their cars, and they both have a 4._0._1._K and they're millionaires. They have about a million and a half net worth. They're not working, you know, Facebook. They're not like Twenty-seven-year-old, Elon Musk genius level dudes. That's not really that gets the headline. So I looked at yesterday. And I think defense wins a lot more than we think in sports pitching in baseball wins championships. Homerun hitters do not win World Series. Who? Wins World Series of the Red Sox and their pitching the year before the Astros and they're pitching pitching his defense. Michael Jordan's bulls were not the most gifted offensive team. Michael Jordan's bulls were the greatest defensive team I've ever seen both of our college football dynasties are based on defense. So do you know every single Super Bowl? New England has won all six of them. Their defense has been ranked. No lower than eighth New England wins these Super Bowls when they come into a Super Bowl and they're efficient offensively. They always are. But they're very good defensively. Which when they win Deo is are so I think the defense I've said a couple of things about Brady's legacy. He's almost always had good offensive line's, Dan. Marino didn't John Elway. Didn't Brady's always had good offensive lines. But those don't make headlines and the second thing their defense is always better than we give him..
