"School from two hundred fifty dollars to forty dollars or credit using those as her funds. And we've already used those funds and they will be in place from now until summer of twenty twenty four for our students to use these to help with that summer slide. These are some of the few things that we can do to help improve scores. mr lavelli. thank you this past summer. I think the district and an excellent job of doing what we can to remediate. I'll say the covert loss and it was a legitimate loss low test. Scores are always a continual challenge. It is there's no easy answers. I'll say this. The the secret sauce is parental involvement. Yes we need great teachers. And i think we have excellent teachers. But that's i don't know if you i was going to have. Have you raise your hand if you over sixty. But i'm not going to do that but but we passed at the last board me and it has been. It's been on the books. But i don't think people realize that if you're over age sixty you can go into our elementary schools or high schools for that matter and help out and get tax credit up to six or eight hundred dollars off your taxes. I don't think most people don't know that. I would love to see twenty to thirty over age. Sixty arnold people by the way. The i think they're fairly young but go into the schools. Redick third graders redes- second graders. Help out in the classrooms. What a wonderful benefit. I would love to get that get that to be commonplace too. Where hey if you're over age sixty in district twentieth. Just sort of what you do to help out. That's just one little piece that we can do. We need to continue to strive and again. I think we've done an excellent job in our district. Am i times better. Stop thank you ms cons. I am a person always open to learning and new ideas so for all the teachers in the room. I do invite you to please. Email me more on this question but for now these are some ideas. We must actively seek in us parent and community volunteers for one on one..

"Then and give them the tools and the resources to better figure out how we're going to take out now chaotic sixth grade class or seventh grade or eighth grade or any other year and get them back into a functional next level class. We do you understand. That learning loss was a thing from last year. We understand that we also need to focus on the basics. The mental health part of that is huge of the have the basic needs matt. Education becomes very difficult. Mr nathan johnson. I think it starts with fear and uncertainty out of the classroom as a coach. I see things from that angle. If you're playing scared if you're uncertain you're gonna perform as well. So i think once we get to the point where we're in school. There's thoughts of being out of school. In e-learning i think that would help also think doing before and after school learning is also very important. Some kids can't get there so as a teacher out high school. You the shave off five or six minutes in black sessions. Those last twenty minutes are pointless. Not for all teachers. Some teachers are amazing. Pack everything great but a lot of times kids lose focus after ninety minutes make it eighty three minutes and have a study hall where kids who need help can get the help and the kids who are ahead can do their homework or read a book or something but i think that's the way to do it because kids need help they're behind they're not going to magically get their parents are huge part as well. I think it was that if you're a couple times engaged parents more often than not have students who are more successful. Those are the ways. All right so i think we made the rounds on that one. This one is a yes or no question so many again. Start with miss nicole cons pretty basic stand up again yes or no so we know this is currently not taught in in k twelve schools and whoever of this question i added that at the beginning because several of our candidates have mentioned it. So we know this is currently not taught in k twelve schools. Yes or no should critical race theory be taught in public school. Miss nicole cons. No mr thomas lavelli know. Ms jackie lesch. Now ms lindsey more. No mr michael riffle. No mr aaron. Salt mr jason silva no miss tiana clark mister brian. Corum no mr nathan johnson. No there's unanimous nice.

"You're technically correct except the problem is the courts are corrupt. So you can go in there but you're not likely to get any results. So that said in law merchant which is mono mono merchant to merchant. The bills do have value. And i'll just leave it at that. So the in their system any evidence of debt has the value of it on the face of it and then in the market it could be discounted depending on what the true value of that piece of paper is So in your documentation you say. The notice of liability process has nine steps to it. The notice of liability the notice of fault the notice of default three rounds of true bills and then three notices of deader so a lot of these rounds are just follow ups establishing the legal paper trail and then you say that ultimately these things altogether create a valuable security. That's right what is valuable security and when we get to that stage hypothetically like what can we do with that walla lavelli security a mortgage is a valuable security so the bank. Because you went in. And i don't wanna get too far into what happens there but the mortgage itself has a value because there's an expectation that the homeowner is going to pay x. Amount of dollars over a long period of time plus interest so the piece of paper itself has value. You could sell that mortgage And they do. They put them in mutual funds and et so because there's evidence of a debt that's the best way to put it and somebody's evidences of debt are quite wake so there's grades of paper. Abc paper yoga's they put people into mortgages they know are going to fail. So that would be like a degraded valuable security so in in the actual market value of it. It wouldn't have full value because there's a chance of default did the person may not be able to make these payments because they're in over their head and house may not have the set value as well so each piece of paper has market value in and of itself but suffice it to say it's evidences of debt our money. They have value in this upside down. Debt based system Yeah that makes sense. It's evidence of a debt. So you never know if it's going to be paid or not but no one does on a mortgage or anything but this is a legal structure that provides evidence that through this nine step process. No debt has been established. And they're somebody who does and so yeah. I could understand how just that structurally legally does have value and to talk a little bit about these issues themselves. The smart meter being the first one. You really tackled. I mean this is a big one because not only is the ems exposure having negative health effects on people who are sensitive to them. But as you say in your video in two thousand sixteen the government admitted uses them for spine and they've we need smart meters so we can gather the data to adjust our habits meaning. We're going to use climate change legislation to throttle your energy use from the outside. So.

Almost every other day. In terms of cancellations, you mentioned nineteen forty-six because of polio nineteen forty-five fair was also cancelled because of a war time fuel shortage. I. Nineteen forty one attendance was big then it plummeted because everybody went to go fight in the war. 1893, the other another time it was canceled. Do you know why two ninety three ninety three? Eighteen, ninety three I feel like I should know this because we've discussed it before, but I don't remember. They canceled it to avoid conflict with the Chicago. World's fair in eighteen ninety three all. We would never do that now. If the world's fair came to Chicago, we would still. Yeah we would be an eighteen, sixty, one and eighteen sixty two state fairs were canceled because of the civil war. Yeah, and the Dakota conflict. Thin excuse just. GotTa. Have it wait sixty one and sixty two canceled? Yup, but sixty three and sixty four not cancel, apparently they they had them then because civil war still going on then, so we said the show must go on at that point. We felt good about us. "Phone call. It was WBZ. So things are rolling out election. Wise is my opinion that there's only one person that can be could beat the president. This is just being a observer. And that person was not on the states last night or the night before. None of those candidates can be the president, given the economy given their. Positions. And, and, and he has the power to swing around and be last minute, he could legalize marijuana or say yes to healthcare. They don't have a chance is only one American who could be the president. You're ready promise to tell you. And if you think about it, I think you'll think I'm right. That person is drummer. Oh, please seriously. Not a joke. Oprah winfrey. Oprah winfrey. He's our ticket. She's, she's a person that could dish it out. Hundreds of thousands of people doing exactly what she says they buy the products. She says they buy the books. She says they do she says. She's well liked. Bye bye, all races. She crosses borders. She's magnificently rich and magnificently famous. She's got to be richer than Trump. Right. And just as famous as Trump. Without the negatives who doesn't like Oprah who says, I hate that Oprah. Oprah Winfrey could be president Winfrey and that's only person there it is. i'm not gonna ask you to answer that question i actually maybe we'll do that next week do you think that's not look into it google it because people have talked about this and they spell out why politically and demographically why hope now we go to i it's in dorchester phil hello hello bradley j. hey hey the first thing i want to tell you about it's i know it's a little seriousness of some of the recent calls i last week my girlfriend newham threw up newfound lake my family is a place i know for right up to sculptured rocks i don't know if you've ever been there in groton which a place where the river is eight minutes way down to the granted for few million years they were great swim in places and you know you can jump off at twelve foot cliff into a pool rapid little waterfalls and we noticed that the lake it was yellow swallowtail butterfly sees a lot of them but we went to scope you drugs they were clouds of them it was gorgeous they were just everywhere there were big bunches of on the ground drinking water from puddles and i've never seen so many it was very trippy But very it was it was just a really nice natural experience. That's nice. i thought you'd like to hear about good we have some pollinators that are thriving because the bees as you know dying i know i know in the batch two and i i bothered me if you weeks ago when there was that swimmer bs at a ballgame and so they called exterminators to come and kill them what the hell people anyway people you're right what's wrong with people yeah yeah i'm i stopped smoking weed along long time ago partly financial reasons by four i i had a problem with alcohol when i what doing to get high if i can get up in the morning with a clear head and i guess coffees my drug you know have a couple of cups of coffee that's that's enough for me But I, I think we're going to start having really bad effects from this. Legalization. I is socially and. Yeah. I think. Hits do stupid stuff, sometimes not that I don't. But what about this legal, but just don't do it? We don't have to be legal to have people like be more moderate. Yeah. All right. Yeah. I, I think like a lot of rights, it's going to be abused. Instead of exercised. Phil, thank you. And. Always good to, to show and hey, good something about Steve Lavelli going to be next week. I mentioned you said something like. Lavelli one-two-three. That's how we label the nights of the week because it's complicated because. monday morning really is sunday night and so back when lavallee was on monday morning was labeled lavelli one which sunday nights that's a a way of talking about the nights less confusing i already i was really find to steve he was a real gentleman and a good host and i think i think you you and your power i think as far as And, and in interest go, so he probably had a temper than I do. i don't have much patience i should have more patients hey do pretty well i think phil thanks very much endured just alec phil's voice cool voice we'll get to know haven after this i want if i can't sixty seconds say dale in new hampshire i want to apologize we had a discussion about overpopulation where i said that in the animal kingdom You can see the effects of overpopulation, because they like the deer population gets sick Mangyan they die. And that's happening to humans. He said that no animal populations have a way of controlling themselves. And. i i you know i can't exactly remember what i said but that was the discussion and i still don't get it i looked into animals have a way of controlling themselves by having stillbirth and eating their young's eggs and stuff and if it's and it doesn't work for all because it's still a population and certainly humans are not able to do that because it's over populations but if i were overly kurt they'll i am sorry by bernie sanders eighteen other democrats took their turn on a miami stage on n._b._c. t._v. debating their visions of the nation's problems future on its resin california senator kamala harris climate change the climate crisis represents an existential threat to us is species and the fact that we have a president of the united states was embraced fines fiction over science fact will be to our collective payroll engaged in one of the more heated exchanges over issues of race what the former vice president her fellow californian congressman eric swollen concentrated on gun control and the risk of being shot in a mass shooting pistols keep the rifles cheaper shotguns but we can take the most dangerous weapons from the most dangerous people businessman andrew yang is one of the lesser known candidates it is it is not right it is forward that where i'll take the country in twenty twenty c._b._s. news update on tom foty hey dan who's that dentist you go to practice oral conscious sedation yeah you're thinking about dr mark are turner of taunton i've got such high anxiety about having dental work done and i love the idea of not feeling anything or remembering i was there before i started seeing him i used to have to go to my old dentist all the time multiple painful visits now with dr turner most procedures take one trip in my executive is gone does dental implants sure does i lost a tooth and i heard that an implant would be an excellent way to replace it he did a few dental implants for my brother and he used his new serik machine he finished in one visit the work that takes other dentists multiple visits to do you should call dr mark are turner for an appointment for more information about oral conscious dacian and dental implants call dr.

I you usually respecting every tragic and they add your now knife knife bothered about Nixon, and let me tell you it. But he just saying, I don't know. Visit. That's not a politician that is currently the president. He his in that prime request. He sucked the air out of the room relative to every other person in the Republican party. That was a politician. And I think at the end got people vote for him. Not a politician people. And then be people believe any any, and he comes across. I'm sorry. And this is what effects me that I didn't think I ever call. I hear you unpresidential. And he just kept the big promise. I don't know what's. Thank you, gentlemen. And Morgan I called the one time on called you another name. We were talking about Frank. Sinatra me, Jordan. That's been a running joke. People calling me, Bradley and people calling me Jordan, that means paying attention. That evening and, and may may the world. Get that up. That's all I. There barbara. All right. Take care bobber. Bye bye. And now his time room, who's calling from land of Lincoln, Illinois. And by the way, Tyrone, I'm not going to bring it up right now. Back later on probably after two o'clock, the that those TV guides from April to June of nineteen sixty five what they used to do back in the day break the year into quarters and TV stations would take that chunk of time and put all the TV guides in a hard bound cover. And I've got those TV guide right here, and I've already looked up the Hollywood palace. And I read to you a little bit later on. What day the Hollywood palace was on. Okay. I get my proof right here. Here we go. Well, I'll tell you what more of woman's gonna cause me to make a mistake. Now, Morgan Jordan, I understand. Well, I'll tell you what, though Morgan there's, there's still one thing you need to correct. I still have not got my answer on your website, and I was gonna talk great. I'm doing the Tyrone show here. I was going to speak to that. I spoke to my webmaster to day and they've been a few issues with passwords and being off by digit and whatnot. It hasn't been put out yet it will be trust me, hopefully by sometime this week. It will be inserted into my website. Well, okay, Morgan, I feel I know I can go to bed with my bare. Until you talk to Allen, so on this, because to me, I don't know. And frankly, I don't listen that late at night. So I don't know the trivia side of what your what you guys been doing. Sounds like he ended the radio show at annoy. Boy, have your radio show. Who me? Yeah. You. No, I'm I'm, I'm afraid of girls. I'm afraid of audiences. So no, no. I don't. What a great sound great town. So why did you wear one? That's not why you call. Anyway, you hit it right on the head with, with the last caller. I mean, Trump got in there for two reasons to reasons only he you know, he said it himself from the very beginning. He says, unlike these other two candidates here 'cause I'm not a politician. Got him in because he's not a politician, and the and the main thing is he's not politically correct. And people were getting sick and tired of Washington and businesses usual. And they wanted someone I knew that wasn't politically correct. And I don't like politically, correct. I want to be the most politically incorrect person in the world. That's why I miss the seventies and got in there. The trouble is we have separation of powers in our country based on. Institution. So he's not able to simply say, I wanna do this. I'm going to do this. And because he's not able to do that he has to deal politically, not being a politician. And I don't know that, that that works very well for him. Now, you know, if Jeb Bush would've got him there would have been the same old thing business. Apollo Washington, doesn't change businesses usual. In what Trump? Committee wouldn't have hijacked the, the, the process and forced Hillary Clinton. What happened at Bernie Sanders would add a chance? Bernie Sanders should've run as independent, he should have been able to read the tea leaves and see that sticking with the Democrats was not going to get him into the White House. The Democrats already proven. They were going to line up behind Hillary and right to appeal full speed ahead Patty really, really wanted the job, if he would've run as an independent. I think won the plurality. Yes. Would that have been better than what we have now? Yes. Well. Not entry quickly enough. I can I can answer faster if you. I wanna hear tire on Twitter, by the way, I wanted to say something here about Steve Lavelli. If I may go right ahead. I called Steve Lavelli up one night and he sounded like he was really on edge about something, you know, I don't know what it was founded lucky was about ready to go over the cliff. He was he was very much on edge. But that night he was talking about how he uses Colgate toothpaste, you know, okay? He loves Colgate, toothpaste. So I called him up and I said, I said, well, you know, Steve, they got this, this new Colgate toothpaste out. It's called. It's called Colgate. Mex- fresh. Yeah. And I was, and I was trying to recommend to him and he, you know, and I'm sure he was joking because I could tell he was joking, but he started yelling at me. As, as nobody's gonna tell me what kind of toothpaste, you know, kinda, I'm just I'm just trying to make them recommend. This new Colgate. Max fresh toothpaste is Steve and I said, I said, you're you got a cat named access. Don't you want your breath to smell like maxes, and I'm sure he didn't take that while I was just joking. We're going gonna assist that. But you wanna know something, I'm gonna let you peek at our hold card Allen, his hosted talk shows, obviously, me Steve, the valley, Dan Rae. Every single talk host wants one thing to have. Before anything else. Phone lines to light up. And sometimes we gotta play that card. Sometimes we've got to do something that might be opposite of the way we feel the way we think, to get the phone lines to light up, Jerry Williams. David bread. No, he did it. I've done it. And maybe that night, maybe I don't know Steve the valley at that night. Well anyway, I said to him, I said, you know, 'cause, you know, he was probably putting on a show because I know him by doing that, you know, but but, you know, when he jumped all over me, by us back me telling him use, Colgate, mix fresh, you know, and I and I really didn't mean cat now Morgan, you know, just give me that I know I said, I said, boy, I said, I said, boy, somebody didn't have their sakes. And I you know, I remember Robert young and say coffee, and he would think across the and then the whole subject that night, I couldn't believe the whole subject at night. Change to say a coffee and do they still namesake coffee? I I'm assuming they do I don't really know. But I know Robert young used to sneak in the people's kitchen on TV and bothered about it. You know. No, I hate to do it. I got another couple of calls and have a break to take. So I'm about to wave good night to you. But listen after two o'clock and I'll read a little bit of the TV guide today. Brought in okay? I will Morgan and, and, and you and Allen, don't forget to buy some Colgate, mex- fresh. I'm going to the store tomorrow. Absolutely. Get the organ around. Bye bye. Thank you. I keep every time I hear his never keep thinking of the about Dusan been a call time around. All right. Let's. So it's not like it's vegetarian but still chickens kind of a pain. You gotta get it at the store package can drip, get it to the fridge where whereas beans. The more user-friendly, I'm all into beans kidney beans. Mike means. Chick peas Pinto beans beans beans. Cookham in the again, cook those in the pressure cooker, I never as able to figure out beans until I started use the pressure cooker that his mind new thing things could so fast and meet if you're gonna eat meat. It's. Don't know. Somehow it cooks. Is more fall off the bony? If you know what I mean? Six one seven two five four ten thirty. Why don't you? Join me. It's a second show of the week. "Wouldn't be here for five and a half hours. Longtime. Radio longtime. Change of of for song from the nineties. That's Andrew over there. See Andrew and the other side of the looking glass, I don't see him every his yes. Yes. Happy now. Yup. And that voice you hear of mine is Mr. Mel Simon's lead off by saying this when they have you aren't except in December. It's usually the first Saturday every other month. Yeah. So the first Saturday of April because we're in February. We'll skip March. I'm just hoping is not the first of April. Because people might assume I have you wanted to be an April fool, and you are Nobody's Fool misdemeanor. Thank you. I'm much too modest to say it myself. But I thank you. But when it comes to coming to the studio meandering around because it is a huge complex from the kitchen to the men's room and the other places, you're not so hard. I'm I'm not good at all. I mean, this is my third or fourth time at the new studio. I. Think it's at least the fourth. Yeah. And I kind of screw up not so much getting here. You know, Nancy, give directions. Well, I I did find tonight, right? The problems going home. Every time I leave here to go home. I go home a different way, make it home. But it's a different way, you leave breadcrumbs what an excellent idea brilliant. And now that the snow isn't an issue anymore. Let's leave breadcrumbs and hopefully the pigeons and sparrows will leave them alone. I will definitely take that under advisement turmeric. Welcome aboard. You're here. Always a pleasure Morgan always look forward to well. I've got Mel on and explain to people who may may not have heard. You granted you've been busy radio. I'm not gonna pinpoint the years because I'm not even sure but through at least five or six overnight hosts wells out about right? Yeah. Yeah. Five or six, you're right. Absolutely. Right. Starting with Larry Glick. And it was Steve Lavelli that came up with the tagline audio clip trivia quiz, right? I used to call it trivia without the questions, but what we do is we play voices. Now, I may play a singer comedian, a TV theme, a movie theme, all sorts of fun things. And so you've gotta guess what I'm playing folks. But for the Tuffy award. I didn't ask you. What are we giving away shirt? These eight t shirt, great, great price gang shirts. Plora bunch of Tuffy. And we'll have a lot of fun. All right. So now, here's how we do. It you play something usually the first second third or fourth a relatively easy. I always begin easy. Well begin. And easy up. I think so we begin with two heavyweights. I mean, really to superstars singing one of my favorite songs. New york. New York would you identify both singers? Please..

"You have to hope some jerk is not texting. And. Blows you and doesn't blow you away. Try it. I mean, no, don't try it. Imagine it sometime when you're standing don't close your eyes. But just imagine what it would be like if you did close your eyes. And try to get across street. My God, I actually don't like cry where they put Crosswalks. When you cross an intersection, actually, you know what it's not that. I don't like the place. It's that they really should everything come to a full stop. They don't I think it's very dangerous. They allow cars automobiles to take a left. Into the crosswalk when you're walking across. Save a walk signal. Most of the Crosswalks cross now says walk. But from my behind me from my. Right side and in front of me for my right side. They'll be people turning in. And I didn't know that it speeds traffic, but it's really dangerous. Don't like that. So that's quite a thing that he's able to be an architect. Good for him. Just a little bit of a. A. An inspirational story if you will. Thanks for being with us tonight. We're just about just about wrapping up. We ask some guests coming in. Of course, we have and you know this. If you follow me on social media, Anthony some Marco coming in on Tuesday night into Wednesday officially Wednesday. They call it Lavelli three because the third overnight show and that that method of. Chronology was vented when Steve Lavelli was your host Steve Lavelli, Steve Lavelli broadcast. So Lavelli three is technically Wednesday Tuesday night into Wednesday. That eliminates confusion, by the way, when you when we're talking amongst ourselves about scheduling, if I say, I want a certain day off, I call it a Lavelli two three four one whatever. So this is the Lavelli three. And he is going to do is is book on Brighton. Very excited about that. Find out. The history of Brighton. I wonder if all yes, Allston Brighton. I'm believing the stockyards we'll be included as a listen to this sent me a photo a long time ago. I'll give to Anthony these lot of his books have before and after so you can see what's there? Now. And what was there are? Conversely, what was there and what it has become? It's kinda surprising that sometimes the buildings are the same. The automobile have changed the signatures change but the architecture the brick workday, Cucolo, whatever it is. Has changed. So Anthony some will be in. He's one of your favorites. I will be in and take a look at the legal side of a lot of stuff that's going on. During the month while see stuff in the news. And I said it to say, maybe we can cover this. Maybe we can cover that. Maybe we can catch up on the investigations into the president. They're always changes regarding that, especially now that the Democrats have some bite. And we'll. And. I guess that's you free to ask any legal questions of when Michael comes in. This weekend. I don't know about you. But I'm hoping the weather's good 'cause I'm looking to get outside. Last weekend I wasted. And I know that people say that sleep is important, and yes, it's good that you slept. But. I don't think to the level that I did. This was crazy. I let's see Friday. I went for a walk. I did that I wasn't completely lazy. It's a long way from Brookline to we can hill and then down to the downtown crossing had myself a Margarita didn't eat anything. I used to eat stuff at the restaurant. I don't do that anymore. Good for me Margaritas bad for you. They're very sugary. I'm sure, but then they got home and they went to bed, and I went to bed about nine and slept from nine pm. Get up watch a little TV go to bed sleep it up by CV go to bed all the way to four o'clock. That's what almost twenty hours. It's not right. Things. Get weird. Reactions to stuff get normal rhythm gets thrown off. And then. Saturday didn't really walk. But when I was going to get a massage, and I didn't do anything cut, some takeout and then went to bed again super early and slept again, two four thirty I slept right through the patriots game right through it. And while it is now. The patriots winning all the time. Does take toll on the excitement. I must say that this game was pretty magnificent. And it's just astounding. How good Tom Brady is any talk of him like leaving. What's what's that about? E kidney. Even if he loses a a step or loses a couple of miles per hour on the throw he still he doesn't make the bad decision. He knows how to round the clock. I mean, he knows how to work the clock, and that's how to fool the opposition draw them off sides make him thinking, it's different play. The dude is a master. He's a jet master. And he's super nice. He's never is doesn't make very many mistakes. He doesn't wear New York at very often it hasn't. He's just the best. And the team when you see them in the media. They're not saying stupid stuff. They're all team oriented. Gotta love the team. So it's great that they win. And are they going to do it again? It's feels like it to me things could go wrong. I don't want to jinx them. But man. They are coming together. Just when he got to come together and all the players are making all the right noises. And they've been there before if they're going to have all the edge of experience big time edge of experience, and certainly the passion. What are your thoughts on the female ref? I did not see the game. But I'm guessing she did a great job. My theory is for a female to be Aref. She probably has to be. Maybe fifty percent better than the guys. She cannot make a mistake if a male ref makes a mistake. It's oh. That's a bad call if a female makes a mistake. The response will be see I told, you know, females should ever be rafts. The so much hanging on her performance. I wonder if she is feels that kind of pressure. So I'm looking forward to the next game. And the next game and another ring and all that. The thing about the patriots is what does this.

"Good Saturday morning. Welcome to Saturday, the fifth of January two thousand nineteen and I'm going to talk a little bit about when is it out of oak to say happy new year. A lot of you may remember, what am I predecessors here? Busy Steve Lavelli and every year he would ask the question. When is a good cutoff point to stop saying happy new year. We'll talk more about that later, but I have a guest she was supposed to be with a couple of weeks ago. It didn't work out doesn't matter. She's here now, and I want people to pay attention because care wells who went through a very harrowing experience is here to retell it experience led her to write a book about that experience. It's all pray that it what happened to her will never happen. Any of us as we go to an airport get on a plane and fly somewhere, Carol. It's still evening for you. But welcome happy new year to be busy. Hello, Hello and happy new year to do. And Hello to everyone in Boston. I love Boston, by the way. And I was so happy to be invited there one year. When Clinton was president. And I don't know how I got invited. But the Kennedys invited me and the they kept pushing me to come. And I was so delighted just come back from Europe doing a, you know, musical tour around Europe, and I was exhausted. And they said you've got to come to Boston to for it was president Kennedy's new opening of their video part of their museum. Yes. And I went, well, I don't think I can come. I have just returned the tour and I'm exhausted. And I need to be with my children now and the white has called me back about four minutes later and said. Yeah. It's funny. They said we're gonna give you. Clearance security clinic Clarence anyway. And if you could come that way, if you come it won't be a problem, but we really want you to come. So now, I'm confused because I don't really know why I knew several of the Kennedys very well. But I didn't know President Clinton, and I was a Republican, and he was a democrat. So I'm credit trying to put this all together and about an hour later. I get another phone call and says. This is the White House calling. And of course, you pay attention when they say that President Clinton we did invite like ten to two private breakfast before the museum showing in Boston, blah, blah, blah. And we'd like you to come tomorrow. Well, at that point, you can't say no because it's like the Queen when they invite them. So I pulled everything together got all my children. Orca dies took off again. And it was so wonderful. I love Boston. My son went to Boston College. And I just love Boston. And I'm so happy to be talking to you and sharing with all your people listening. I live within a mile of Boston College. And I don't know if but told you the range of WBZ right now, you're speaking to thirty eight states in parts of Canada. Canada. It's like a syndicated radio show. And obviously, the main thrust of have new on his three tell the story of September nineteen seventy seven, but I know could you mentioned that your performer, and you sing this some episodic TV. Series of shows we can tell people look for this episode of all in the family. Look for this episode of gunsmoke that you were on. You know, something you're right because so many of these old shows are re re, you know, showing, hey, and my my suggestion is I think it's on my website, Carol weld. Dot com. Also on that. What is it called IBM be or I b? I m b d right? If they look that up they could see all the TV shows that I made and and just go to your TV because like wagon train is back on Larry me. I mean, I made so many television shows in especially a lot of the westerns and only Hudson started watching those wonderful. What was it the -tective show? He always, oh, what's his name, the guy that always had the trench coat on and he would walk away to turn around and say, oh, I have something else. Okay. You what would that be? Yes. Yeah. Let's on a couple of Columbus. I mean, I was like all of them at that era. So if they wanna look them up, and then just look at the old TV shows because I think it was Ted Turner who bought all of 'em GM's. Yes. Libraries. And every now, and then I see things like even funny lady is shown again, the one I did with Barbara Streisand. But the funny, you know, virus Streisand had editing power at that time because she didn't want to make the sequel lady, and we've made funny girl, and she cut me out three times. Really? Personal. No, it was it. But also cut Ben vereen, and I had a big dance seeing. And I mean, it was a wonderful piece of the film, and he had just won the Tony award for Pippen. Yes. And cut him out as much as she could because he was fabulous. And then the best line is what James Caan says if I'd known the back of my head was been a be shown so much. I would've powdered it. There are a lot of movies that are still playing. But you know, I it's kind of funny at Halloween. The house of the seven corpses plays and all these people like it. But I'm really interested. What's happening right now and day because. You know floor where we can't look backwards to keep going forward. I'm going to take my break when we come back. We are going to put the spotlight on you being right in the middle of a terrorist circumstance. It was so. Powerful you had to write a book about it. And you didn't write the book right away. No catch me a quite a while. Because you know in the beginning when you when you have things like that happen, and you have young children you have to keep moving forward. You don't have the time to really go into a funk, and even though I did for a while because I'd had a miscarriage because of this experience on the plane when you were in shock, you you put a lot of adrenaline to your body. And when that happens it killed my baby. And so I was really very. When I came home, and I had to kind of like for three or four months just day myself kinda try to work it out. So there are reasons why you sometimes refused to look at something. But then it gets to a point where you're watching the news and seeing all these things happening to the places that you visited and the people that you knew that we're now gone because of these crazy terrorists. So yes, you know, it's an experienced any hope no one ever had where we will talk about that. After sell a few spots here. Make some money for our heart and WBZ. But if anyone else they would like to call in. I'll give you the phone number now six one seven two five four ten thirty. You're calling long distance may be or in another state could be in Wisconsin, Illinois, Pennsylvania. Toll free eight eight eight nine two nine ten thirty. This is weakened live midnight until five or Morgan. My producers Andrew and my guest is right here. Carol wells time and temperature here. Busy, twelve sixteen. Forty degrees..

"So a listener sent the proper sticker that said Tagliabue and binswanger to referring to you. They refer. Yes. Steve Lavelli had an idea. He was trying to come up with something to do with my last name in the end, the best thing he could come up with it with work with it or match it was Paul Tagliabue. So he talked about it on the air and a local bumper sticker company made like three hundred to five hundred of them sent them in and then he sent them out to listeners and someone sent her bed. Someone sending back I walked into the studio next door about an hour ago. And I started chuckling because there was this pumper sticker that says Tagliabue's binswanger to did you already have one. I've got a one or two somewhere back at the house. But that, but it was it's yeah. It was it was very funny bit, and we got responses from folks all over the place. So since you have a spare, but one of them actually on your bumper. I should people do bumper stickers. Any I see a lot of school stickers. Yeah. And stickers regarding like dog my child went to this expensive. So I am better than you. That's what that is. Look at me. I'm awesome. My kid went to bleep school. Yeah. I'm more concerned actually in some cases for safety because they've got the entire was blanketed with school stickers, or I love my golden retriever, whatever it might be baby on board baby on port is always irritated by baby on board. Why because it's not as if I was about to smash into them thinking there's no baby on board. I'm gonna go ahead and hit them. You know, I didn't increase my safe driving at all. Realizing that was a baby. I moved right. I'm already maximizing my safety. It's. Keeping sue distance and is on the role. They alerted me because the baby on board and stop by reckless driving right now. How was your New Year's by the way spectacular? I I was telling the story of the four day weekend, and they didn't quite get done. But. Day number one. I went I got a massage for an hour on Sunday. I went for a hike up at cascade brook trail Frankonia and then New Year's Eve, so simple and serene. I walked next door to another family member lives there and had takeout.
