Now to storm team four meteorologist Lauren ricketts. Dan but jurors today are going to continue to rise into the low to mid 80s. It is a beautiful start to some early weekenders. But again, a beautiful end to this work week and comfortable as well. It's lots of sunshine low to mid 80s again today. And dry. Now as we head into tomorrow, we're still dry after a cool start 50s and low 60s tomorrow morning. We warm into the low 80s. Maybe a touch cooler than today. May I buy a degree or two? But tomorrow I'm pretty uneventful, just beautiful. By Sunday, temperatures around 80 will have a slight chance of some showers passing through on Sunday a little bit more cloud cover. Better chances of rain come as we get into your Monday and Tuesday as a cold front passes through the area, more clouds, temperatures in the 70s on Monday and Tuesday. In fact, they're going to be pretty much where they are standing right now for Monday and Tuesday. And right now, here in D.C., we have a temperature of 76 buoys 75 Baltimore 78 Leesburg it's 77. "To keep you moving, visit the new location in all new Maryland at the intersection of Georgia avenue and route one O 8 and remember that's a job for jiffy. I'm rob stallworth WTO traffic. Let's get the forecast with storm team four meteorologist Lauren ricketts. We've got temperatures that are going to continue to rise to the low 90s today. Little humid out there right now, partly sunny to mostly cloudy skies, could have a shower later on this afternoon, or I'm sorry, later on this morning, more likely this afternoon and continuing through this evening that we'll see some showers and thunderstorms. And again, slow moving storms, spraying some heavy downpours, which could create some flooding. Now as we head into tomorrow more the same low 90s, mostly sunny tomorrow I think we'll have a little bit more sunshine. And a chance for some showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon hours. Monday and Tuesday, isolated thunderstorms. So a slightly lower chance for Monday and Tuesday still hot, low to mid 90s with plenty of sun, and then by the time we get into your Wednesday, that'll be the best chance of rain as a cold front comes through the area, temperatures on Wednesday, low to mid 90s, 75 right now in Washington, Ashburn at 72 Annapolis, 74 camp springs at 70°. Today though, back in the 90s, the last day of this heat wave, it's going to feel over a 100° at times. In fact, it already feels like the mid to upper 80s and a lot of sponsor across the region. Showers and maybe a thunderstorm possible this morning west along I 81. We're watching some crawl out of southwestern Pennsylvania at this time. And again, by the time we head into the afternoon one or 2 o'clock, numerous showers and thunderstorms for everybody across the area. That's why we're weather alert. We could see damaging wanes and also some pretty heavy rain that could lead to some flooding. We're going to keep the chance overnight as well for some rain and then scattered showers and thunderstorms tomorrow. As I said, much cooler tomorrow, but it's still going to be humid tomorrow. I really don't see that humidity drop until Friday. So Wednesday, Thursday, humid, and back to the heat. Temperatures right around 90°. Which is an average for this time of year. Wednesday, Thursday, a few thunderstorms possible here and there, not raining all day. And then we'll have some showers and thunderstorms possible. And Lauren ricketts with our forecast this morning, Lauren, it just looks sticky outside this morning. It does the sun just came up just about 20 minutes ago. And yes, looking a little muggy, definitely feeling muggy. Maybe not quite as muggy as yesterday, but it's still on the high levels. Temperatures rolling into the low 90s once again today. Once again, we'll have some China I know we have some morning clouds, but more sunshine is the day wears on. It could be even a few little sprinkles south and west in D.C. this morning. If you're near Frederick's vertical culpepper, otherwise we stay dry today and he storm chances stay through central Virginia. Tomorrow we're dry, hot and humid, low to mid 90s tomorrow. Feeling closer to a 100°, plenty of sun. Thursday, partly cloudy, mid to upper 90s on Thursday. And again, incredibly muggy with that heat index in the triple digits. We do have about a 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, some of those could be strong. We're really watching that forecast, because some of those may just stay south of us. So right now, confidence is not high on the precip forecast for Thursday, but we do know it's going to be hot again, midday 90s. We stay in the mid to upper 90s. "Reported to be blocking two left lanes. One 8 6 6 three O four WTO is a traffic tip line, also don't forget to download that WTO app. Carlos Ramirez will be traffic. Now to storm team four meteorologist, Lauren ricketts. We've got a dry morning out there, although a little bit of road spray and as Carlos was saying, some ponding on the road, so be careful. That's from all The Rain that we had yesterday, in fact, D.C. reached a record. Just about an over an inch and a quarter of rain, but we'd beat a record from an 1899 for daily rain rate. Either way, more rain today, I do believe we could have a few little showers that rolled through this morning before lunch time, anything that we do see could bring some heavy downpours, and then another chance for some showers and thunderstorms any time after about two, 3 o'clock, I do think some of those will continue well into the overnight hours, damaging winds, heavy rain, some isolated flooding events, primary threats, maybe even some halo and I think it could be some large hail as we go through the afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures today mid to upper 80s and boys are going to be humid out there. It's already humid right now. Watch out also for a little fog. Tomorrow morning we'll start off partly cloudy and then another chance of showers and thunderstorms by tomorrow afternoon. I'd say any time after 2 o'clock as well for your Monday, mid to upper 80s, some of these could be strong to severe on your Monday night. And then Tuesday, we're dry. Temperatures in the upper, 80s to right around 90, we're in the low to mid 90s by Wednesday, more rain chances return by the time we head into your Thursday. Ukraine is coming joining us live to talk about it is national security correspondent JJ green on Skype So JJ is Putin's mind made up here or can this conversation influence or deter his plans for Ukraine Nick I have no idea what's in Vladimir Putin's mind but I can tell you what we can expect during this call And that is that President Biden is going to talk very tough about potential invasion of Ukraine cyberattacks and other elements of Russia's bad behavior They're all going to be laid out and discussed The president's going to tell Putin if you do it it's going to be the worst mistake of your political career And Putin is most likely going to do what he always does deny he's doing anything wrong It doesn't seem like President Biden has a lot of options though What's he going to use as a threat Well I can't say for sure beyond the fact that they're going to talk about sanctions He's going to tell him that the Nord stream two gas pipeline that Russia wants is not going to go through They're going to be some delays on that And there's possibly going to be some buildup of U.S. Military around the region and not U.S. Military but military from allied forces around the region And there are going to be sanctions And I've been told that they're possibly could be sanctions on the swift banking system that Russia and everybody in the world uses that would essentially eliminate their ability to use it So those are some of the some of the arrows in the quiver some of the possible tools that could be used And what will you be watching after the call happens The video call is about to happen at about 15 minutes or so after it happens What will you be looking at as an indicator of how that call may have gone Nothing really because it won't be anything to look at We won't know until they tell us So how will this affect greater Europe If Ukraine falls Europe's done not literally but the idea of security and freedom will be a thing of the past That is according to numerous experts including Kurt Volker who's the former U.S. special representative for the negotiations with Ukraine from 2017 to 2019 then if Ukraine falls then after that's going to be Moldova Georgia then possibly the Balkans left the Lithuania Estonia would be greatly concerned as well After this particular call after whatever happens vitamin Putin and Russia decides to do Europe is going to be on pens and needles for a while because even if he doesn't do this invasion it's not lucky that he's just going to pack up all these troops and move them tomorrow All right that call is set for Heat index could top 107 as sizzling temps continue for Washington DC area

"Forecast from Storm Team four meteorologist Lauren Ricketts. It's a hot one. Now this morning. His heart is a past few mornings, but we're going to be pretty hot this afternoon. Once again, temperatures rising into the mid nineties that heat index up over 100 degrees Little hotter. If you're around the D, C and Baltimore metro areas and points East from I 95. That's where we have a heat advisory until 8 p.m. Tonight. That's where you could find that heat index up over 105 109 and it'll be likely higher the closer to the water that you are so either way, it's going to be hot. We'll have a mix of sun and clouds. We continue through the morning showers and thunderstorms developing along I 81. After about one o'clock this afternoon. We will continue to see them. Travel east being the D C. Metro area about 5 p.m. So storms are likely for your commute home strong to severe storms, damaging winds, even some small hail lots of lightning and ponding on the roads. Definitely possible ondas. We continue into tomorrow. More of the same temperatures in the mid nineties will have that heat index in the lower one hundred's once again. And another chance for some showers and thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon. So an 80% chance of storms today that's why we're weather alert because of that, the heat and then tomorrow about a 60% chance 30% chance on Friday temperatures still around 90 degrees, and then the weekend right now, thank goodness looks dry with dropping humidity as we head into your Sunday temperatures out there right now it's warm. We're up to 79 here in Washington, Upper Marlboro 80 Frederick, 81 Winchester, 73 Lawrence,
