"Former president trump has made since leaving office and he actually has gone back to the hydroxy chloroquine nonsense again. Since leaving office dropped. Laura quinn actually works member member. I made a mistake hydroxy. I should've said hydroxy. Chloroquine is a disaster. Please do not use it. They would've said instead. I said it works and now reports coming out that it works now. There are reports coming out that it works. It doesn't work. It's not a good cova drug. Neither is your horse stuff. That was his first big political rally as a post president in ohio. About eight weeks ago. Going back to the hydroxy chloroquine thing again. I will tell you during another rally. Tomorrow in rural alabama hospitals in alabama are completely overrun with covert patients the actual town. He's appearing in literally just declared a covert emergency today and he's going to be there during a big rally tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. But here's what a thing to see in that same speech that i just played a clip from that same rally where he goes back to the hydroxy clark with nonsense. That was about eight weeks ago. This is from that same speech worse than afghanistan. how 'bout that worse than afghanistan. Where by the way. I started the process. All the troops coming back on. They couldn't stop the breast twenty. One years is enough. Don't we think twenty-one they couldn't stop the process they wanna do but it was very tough to stop the process when.

"United States and making available for free because it was so miraculously, his cure. I can envision an awful lot of patients when they're diagnosed with covert 19 saying the first thing I want is what the president got. It feels like we're back in April and may when hydroxy Laura Quinn was touted, and then it became in extremely short supply, and I had patients calling the up emailing me and saying I can't get my normal hijack. Seek Laura Quinn for my care for my rheumatoid arthritis or whatever other condition and they were dependent on it and all the sudden there's supply dried up and they were, you know, suffering from their own underlying conditions. So again, toe have availability on a wide scale. Is probably not possible right now. If that drug were licensed in approved again, we simply would not be able to provide sufficient supplies. So I think again, we don't want to repeat. Scenario that we had with hydroxy clerk with a few months back. That sounds exactly right to me, but I'm not a doctor. Maybe sweet people. The ability of sweet people to hurt others is infinite. I am. I am not interested. In whether you're nice and sweet. I am interested in whether you hurt society or help it. I mean that I prefer if you're nice and sweet, just only say But the fact that you may know a nice person who opposes hydroxy Claure. I never used the term I thought it was hyperbolic. I do not think it is hyperbolic. Otherwise rational people become morally and rationally deranged because of their hatred of Donald Trump. They're prepared to screw this country. And deprive people of medicine. In order to hurt the president. That's derangement. You doctors who oppose hydroxy Clorox. I will have to answer to the creator of the universe if he is a good God. You have no basis whatsoever to oppose it, because you know damn well how safe it is. But the number of people in the sciences who have been morally corrupted by the left is equal to the number of teachers, the number of actors the number of athletes Who have been corrupted by the left. Do not think that science is a shield against moral corruption. Against the stain for truth. It is not Values. Are the only thing that keep people Committed to truth Little, a liberty. Come on car. I wanted to know. Is there any research or information on stem cell therapy before people with Patients with lymphedema either harm after and I can tell you. Yeah, I can tell you directly. My lovely aunt. I can tell She had them for demon. Her legs had an injury is a young woman, and you know the lymphedema. Went up to her knee and then above her knee, and they used all sorts of different treatments on it. And the lymphedema pumps which helps some water transit Lee And we did stem cell therapy on her limp body went away. So Wow, I can tell you clearly. That I didn't expect it to go away so quickly, but it went away. I mean, gone and you're all I know. Very happily surprised that it you know it cleared up that quickly. And if you haven't looked enough for some information, but quickly, my wife had AH, uterine cancer Stage one a over six years post surgery she developed Lymphedema in her left leg. She also had a From pronouncing it right. A lymphatic Alino Venus bypass surgery in Chicago, uh, with and it helped, But he couldn't They took I think of limp. She's gotta wear this impression Stockings forever, I guess, And she's really have it under control. Just looking at stem cell with lymphedema on scholar, Google is over 10,000 results. Oh, it's nice out of it. You know, I think they're great research all over the world. And I think you can't just look at American research because American research typically, you know, wants you to look at medications for treating things but In American research, as well as European research was traveling all over the place had they been using stem cells from many many many years and published these studies in different journals. So when you look at all this, you start to say, you know what stem cell therapy has been used for literally. Every day general disorder. I have met with the disorder that has no stem cell research associated with it. Is that something? She could contact your office and sure and get some help with. Oh, great. Absolutely thank those cancerous you how many years out? You said it started six years after the cancer. Yeah, Yeah, the lymphedema and then you know, in Connecticut. I mean, you know, they say why the lymphedema popped up six years later. No, I think they either is it probably just took out too many lymph nodes for they did the standard. I guess they're telling her for stage one, a uterine cancer. Protocol. For however many stem cell she they took out. "She was on air along with many other doctors. There were big fans of hydroxy Laura Quinn, and I thought she was very impressive in the sense that from where she came, I don't know which country she comes from. But she said that she's had tremendous success with hundreds of different patients. And I thought her voice was an important voice. But I know nothing about her class. Thank you very much, Everybody. You get in trouble, don't you think? Ah, there we go as we wrap that exciting fun on. Of course, they asked Trump in that conference about the doctor yesterday said Ah, she said things like Ah, this doctor if you've not seen her You go. Look up, Doctor. I think her name is Emanuel. But she believes in alien DNA. Demon Sperm was one of the things that talked about repped aliens run the government. Kind of like what? Alex Jones. It was. Your people are going to come. I'm telling you guys now listen. People are going to show up and you guys are not able to stop them. They're here right now. They control everything. I don't even know if Ouch, Israel On the last time I saw he liked his own eyeball. That is only something a reptile could do. That voice is weird. That's what he does. Here here. If you're looking for, you know, just a bottom line on what happened. During this press conference. I mean, he is he's well, here's the thing. He's trying to be civil and the reason he's doing these press conferences. He's not yelling. He's not screaming. He's not being snide. Not really. I mean Trump. You know, Trump could be awful sometimes, and he's just not doing that. He's not fighting with the media. He's not, you know. Ah, you know, throwing fireballs. He's going out there for about 20 minutes, and he's being patient, and he's trying to give a few things here and there. Did I pick up a lot of important stuff from the press conference. I did not know, but I think the bottom line is You know, he feels like he needs to be back in front of the American people and to do so for about 20 minutes every day or every other day and to show that he's well behaved. Well, I think that's something. Yeah, I think that's something. I don't think he's trying to change his image because his image is never going to change. You either know him and love him or you can't stand the pain and all that. Yeah, So, so I think he's just trying to get out there and say Here's a few things. Here's a few things we're working on, and he's not doing any raw, raw speech. He's not doing like, you know, when he came to Phoenix, and he was in the church and all that kind of stuff Now he wasn't He's very soft spoken in these this. It's kind of like the new press conference Trump at least over the last couple weeks that very prepared everything. It's a prepared statement. Jury doubt something talked about Kodak today said Hey, you know what we found out? Nobody wants. The stuff that we used to do, so we're going to flip over and start doing pharmaceutical stuff. He talked about several different things that were very just kind of things that you would think a normal press conference. It almost. Ah mcenany could could do on and and that was fine, but he wants to feel like he's a part of something that he's not been. Really a part of for a while because he took like three months where he's like, I'm not doing this anymore. All right, coming up Next. Let's see. We'll get into a little bit of major League baseball. WHO spokesperson sheds light on 'second peak' of coronavirus

"We approach one hundred thousand deaths from the coronavirus here in the US the world's top health officials are warning that coronavirus infections could go back up in the middle of this current outbreak they're worried about countries including the United States lifting restrictions too quickly this is separate from the so called second wave expected to happen in the fall here's Dr Michael Ryan the director of the world health organization's emergencies program speaking yesterday we cannot make assumptions that just because the disease is on the way down now that it's on them it's going to keep going down and then we're going to get a number of months to get ready for a second way we may get a second peak in this way I'm joined now by Dr Margaret Harris a member of the WHO's coronavirus response team and a W. H. O. spokesperson thank you so much for being with us doctor hers thank you very much for having me Rachel can you just explain more what the concern is about a potential second peak in in infections during this current moment this current outbreak so we sing with different countries quite different patents and what needs to be understood is this coronavirus is not the flute so a lot of people have put what a cold the flu lens on their expectations they keep on thinking it's seasonal but if you look around the globe we've got countries in the middle of the summer and autumn having large large outbreaks so we're not seeing a seasonal Patton what we are seeing is indeed when people ease too quickly that they do then C. and a rise in infections so we certainly don't say you have to be a lockdown but we're saying he's carefully so what are you advising the U. S. and other countries to do to prevent a second peak so first we'll know your transmission and this is because the US is a huge country you've got many many different states communities cities experiencing very different transmissions so they all have their own outbreaks at different stages so they're full of course they need to pace it according to what's really going on so how do you know that you have to be testing you have to be tracking and you have to have a very clear on his own what's happening with the transmission in your community so as you can pick your moment has the W. H. O. Boenning conversation with the trump administration about the urgent need for more testing wearing conversation with administrations with health authorities with health experts around the world all the time these discussions go on continuously but I don't have to tell you about the tension between the United States the trump administration and the WHL president trump has threatened to pull U. S. funding for the WHL or just leave altogether I mean given those tensions are you concerned that the US is not heeding the advice of the guidance from the WHL the US is a fantastic partner and the US has got extraordinary depths of great scientific expertise that they sort of tensions obviously are concerned and we do not want to have the U. S. leave we know the world benefits enormously from the public health leadership and the role the US is always played and we hope that will continue I want to ask you about clinical trials for the drug hydroxy Clark one of this is a drug that president trump has touted publicly the W. H. O. announced this week that it's temporarily stopping clinical trials of that drug why so there was a large observational study that was published in the lancet last week when they looked at people who were taking a number of medications and they found that there was an increased incidence in negative outcomes including death but also how to reach me is so it's essentially nobody will be randomized while that safety data is being reviewed president trump says he's been taking Hydroxycut workman for some weeks as a preventative measure against covered nineteen is the W. H. O. advising physicians not to prescribe Hydroxycut Laura Quinn either preventively or to cover nineteen patient so we advise physicians to prescribe hydro Sickler queen full the things that it's used for normally in the normal population such as autoimmune disorders we are not looking at it as a preventive or prophylactic measure and finally I mean we saw new Zealand's prime minister Jacinda Ardern celebrate the fact that that country currently has no one in the hospital being treated for covert nineteen they have turned the corner on this and then you look at the United States which is perhaps going to suffer a second peak in the current outbreak what is the state of affairs right now when you when you take a a broad look at the the global impact of this pandemic where are we now we are really seeing very very large outbreaks in many parts of the world so in fact last week every day we recorded the largest number of new cases that we had seen so one of the issues is when people see their particular outbreak coming down they think oh well that's done done and dusted but that is not the case certainly countries like New Zealand has shown what can be done with very clear communication very clean structure very clear decisions on what to do when and how and there's very very strong commitment by everyone in the community Dr Margaret Harris is a member of the WHO's coronavirus response team thank you for your time we appreciate it thank you

they're working hard to get in close we started testing the next day maybe even later the same day there is a story from some heralded the health expert our researcher who will say we may never get a taxi every morsel every item of good news is met with fatalistic apocalyptic news immediately thereafter and it's going to happen here you wait so we got this story from Fizer and bio intact the German pharmaceutical company started testing their vaccine human trials on Monday you wait how long is it gonna be before we get another story we may never ever get a matching and by the way that may be true we don't have vaccines for the vast majority of viruses that are out there yeah I'm I'm gonna blow in the face pointing this out we still don't have an aids vaccine an HIV vaccine we have other forms of therapy treatments we don't have a vaccine for it there is in some ways you can go and take a panel or a swab or whatever and be inoculated against coming out with HIV did the flow did all the common cold which itself is a virus it's a rhino virus and there's not a vaccine for that so that there may not be a vaccine for the coronavirus my point is that with every morsel of good news it isn't long before somebody comes along and throws ice and cold water on it Austria Austria is re opening shops and they say that they're re opening has been away for a while it has not let it two additional coronavirus infections Austria's first loosening of the corona virus locked down three weeks ago in which thousands of shops re opened has not led to a new spike in infections no further vigilance is necessary so there according to the health minister alpine Republic acted early to tackle the pandemic they closed bars restaurants schools theaters nonessential shops and that help cut feed daily increase in infections so less than one percent kept deaths at relatively low just six hundred and six reported so far in Austria they opened up three weeks ago and they're not experiencing any kind of a blow back now there's a new study from researchers at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and they say that the corona virus has mutated it's always bad when it happens right yeah that word mutant what do you think of when you heard the word mutant you think gigantic fly right gigantic slide gigantic insect mutating all over the place of the come along and swallow you whole so the Los Alamos national lab says a corona viruses mutated the new strain is even warm salt and all it's even more contagious they say that you have for the virus doesn't subside in the summer like the flu does it could mutate further it could limit the effectiveness of the vaccines being developed here you go good news bad news good no one knows good knows robin knows there aren't any vaccines yet but we already have a story about how if this doesn't happen and that doesn't happen why it could be really bad while the news for your great news for the Democrat party and the American left who are doing everything in their power to scare us into not re opening the country even though the study is also tell us there may never be a boxing in they still have to destroy the possibility that a vaccine might be doable but it won't work so don't get your hopes up you please so there's no benefit there's no benefit in re opening there's no benefit you're wanting to re open because no matter what you're doing is by which is going to get you say officials at this lab work in that department towards this think tank we got time to squeeze one more we do here is Joanne in not in upstate New York great to have you're welcome to the EIB network a lot higher ash I need to thank you for calming me down every day that you're saying that I can't take it anymore I am the curve I'm about to break we just got even though we live in upstate New York we have a rental home in New Jersey in governor Murphy just signed an executive order allowing tenants to use their security deposit in applied that to rent and they do not have to pay that back until I said till such time as their leases get renewed I get it so you recording to the governor Filmer you'll get to pay yourself rent exactly and if my tenant decides to leave they don't and if they damage so I'm stuck because it's impossible to go after attending one C. of last it costs you more than whatever damage they've done well you don't have to do now we have we have one in our in the money that we even had one of these rich landlords yes you are the Democratic Party you have a bottomless pit of money and all you're doing is exporting your denture a slum lord absolute insects running around your rental unit you don't care the pipes are rusty and you're exploiting your tenants and they're living in veritable poison probably dying because you are a tight wad cheapskate you're raping I'm financially every day and it's about time they got even worse that's the Democrat party attitude toward worldly and that's mine that worked for putting aside is going towards college funds so we barely barely we're still putting in money ever pop no worry about college funds the Democrat party will be forgiving student loans and it won't be a need for education because they'll have your kids indoctrinated by the fifth grade back with more Russian.

"The Hydroxycut Laura Quinn and this I think is going to be a breakthrough in what has been increasingly proven to be effective medication either help people from getting the disease or are helping to get over the diseases especially in the early stages this internet technology juries amazing thank you course the nation dot com about eighty million people who were sent their stimulus payments this week but if you weren't one of them well doesn't mean you won't get your money you're one of roughly sixty million people still waiting about ninety percent of the Americans are eligible for the payments which phase out for high income earners according to an estimate from the tax policy center Amanda new haven Connecticut was arrested earlier this week after breaking into a downtown restaurant during the corona virus pandemic helping himself to thousands of dollars worth of food and liquor over the course of four days I guess when you're hungry you're hungry a drought equal to the worst to hit the western U. S. in recorded history is already under way according to scientists researchers say the mega drought is a naturally occurring events that started in the year two thousand and is still on going to NASA astronauts and a Russian cosmonaut made a safe return from the international space station the find the plan a transformed by the corona virus pandemic there are concerns that this virus can get up there somehow let's check in with Peter Davenport from the national UFO reporting center for his weekly report on UFO activity Peter what do you have for us good evening George I'd like to begin my report tonight by B. briefly revisiting the report I first shared with the costar dances past February and then a rather important development the case concerns the alleged presence of military fighter jets above Washington DC area just minutes after president trump's state of the union address on February fourth and then this a very convincing sounding witness reported not only having heard the jet fighters but having seen two very large objects above his condominium apparently circling around one another so we have a very good solid case with an excellent witness the interesting part of this in the room what I'd like to read share with our audience tonight is the the witness did everything exactly correctly including submitting a FOIA request to the FAA and the short version of what I want to share is that the FAA appears falsely claimed that it was not submitted correctly apparently somebody George once this case to be quashed yes sure they don't want it out there do they want it out there they really don't want the audio tapes shared with the American public well regarding more recent reports and I'm going to pick on the west coast it appears tonight yesterday afternoon at five thirty PM three gentleman in Vancouver Washington we're standing on the top of the hotel the roof of the hotel and they suddenly became aware of six or possibly as many as eight or flying across the beautifully clear blue cloudless sky the formation they right was not the typical formation of planes or helicopters and the interesting part about this is one that is was a daylight saving well on usual and number two the objects appeared to be inter twining their flight paths with one another very strange and interesting case the next case come reminding them beach very similar to the first one the gentleman was out last night at nine twenty PM looking at Venus so that tells me is probably a pretty experienced sky watcher if he knows where the where Venus is located in the night sky presently and he saw a red light Snap-On's suddenly right next to Venus then the second the third the fourth and the fifth once there were five visible in a horizontal orientation they started drifting to the south and just disappeared from his side in about twenty seconds or so then the third and last report I'll do briefly George comes from a mother and her grown son up in Duncan British Columbia on Vancouver Island eleven thirty last night they saw a large triangular craft.

"Democratic state representative from Detroit is crediting hydroxy core Quinn and Republican president Donald Trump who touted the drug for saving her in her battle with the corona virus but to the lowlifes at The New York Times and CNN which is almost redundant there are some people both were not low lifes but they're a minority I will give you the C. "Are you I'm good I'm good tell me your thoughts about how about Hydroxycut Laura Quinn well let me tell you I am a trump supporter my head and I have the N. appreciate what he's doing I had some hesitation with the hydrochloric when my understanding is that has some tremendous complications or side effects it has been about well I don't know cations it has some side effects but they've used for decades for various other treatments so this would be an off label use I understand that and I think my concern is simply approaching it slowly and deliberately that that blindness is cute the heart attack issues that come with that I'm sure it's not every person who uses that obviously correct it is concerned that you would want to approach it deliberately and I don't think I want both thank you this is a blanket answer for everybody they need to understand that it needs to be used deliberately and and with a lot of for finance and you should slowly show first of all I I appreciate your your your perspective here so if you have a loved one who is dying who's on end is intubated who's on a ventilator and is about to to to pass as many of the people who have received Hydroxycut work when I have experienced and then they've had a miraculous recovery and I can tell you personally of a number of cases that I personally know of where that has happened picture your loved one in that dire situation you're going to say to the doctor now take your time go slow and deliberate because I don't want you have to rush anything here is that really going to be your response what I'm saying is that it is not a blanket answer for everybody and Nordic the discussion his then this is gonna be our answer for everybody and yes yeah my last one was dying I am absolutely a hundred percent on board when there's no other option politically let's try right with all due respect Kathy I haven't heard anyone say this is a panacea that's working for everybody because it's clearly not working for everybody we still we still have a growing number of deaths in America and we know that nobody is saying that that's part of the problem too with this debate because people add things that are not even being set the president never showed it he's never said this is going to keep your the corona virus he has never said all these changes we can't wait for years to test it which is what you seem to suggest if it's working and it's saving lives that's what you're going to want because the the the the rescue of lives is what's going to matter here here's what the president said about it yesterday at the one of his daily press briefings with the task force here's cut number five in a back and forth with another reporter almost to an emissions but you necessarily ma'am but little bit like you whole what your maybe your devil's advocate if you eat at again your support for trump has anything to do with it people's opposition to trump should have anything to do with trump this has nothing to do with trump nothing other than he's hopeful that maybe this could work because the stories were getting about it are helpful and encouraging why this is so hard for people here's what he said yesterday cut five from a fox news and gravy because we no longer care what I want I want to save lives and I don't want it to be in a lab for the next year and a half as people are dying all over here doctors are able to.

"About this anti malaria drug Hydroxycut Laura Quinn was just like me do you know what music to my ears a group of moderately ill people were given Hydroxycut Laura Quinn which appeared to ease their symptoms quickly but more research is needed warns the New York times this is out of China they say cough fever pneumonia went away faster the disease seems less likely to turn severe in people who received hydroxy caloric when they're in a comparison group not given the medication remember this got turned into some kind of a touchstone for whether you like trump or not all because he simply touted the potential of Hydroxycut Laura Quinn early on well not even the New York times is now citing a study that doctors in China are sharing now who knows what's real and what's not real out of China but I know again I've said this to you I feel like the the the guy in the wilderness screaming at the top of his lungs there are people who say their lives have been saved I know people who were treated with hydroxyurea Quinn and this was way before was being talked about in New York they were being given it in New York with with the Z. pack and they had dramatic recoveries dramatic I'm talking about going from double pneumonia in the hospital to be released the next day so that's optimistic we need a little bit of optimism lord knows if you watch the the news I I sat through ABC world news tonight last night for a half hour it was so bleak and so Graham and so frightening I just I just immediately started feeling horrible for anybody who's watching because it doesn't seem like there's a whole lot of reason for any optimism right now so many confused so many so many questions I was talking to my pal Joey Hudson this morning in South Carolina wanted out you know South Carolina is being thrown into the bucket of all the states that have stay at home orders in fact even Florida governor Ron DeSantis yesterday signed a stay at home order after weeks of rejecting calls for such a measure show as the national news media reports on that South Carolina is in the category of stay at home orders but that isn't really true in South Carolina governor Henry McMaster has also resisted a mandatory stay at home order and I don't even know what a stay at home order means because there are so many exceptions carved out even going to church something that vice president pence recommends against the vice president said please no more than ten people at a time in a church I love the ingenuity of churches that are doing things like parking lot services everybody stays in their car and they put up a sound system in the pastor is in the parking lot with the sound system or trying to to do Sherman's online in church services online the you know it it it really this is a health emergency and here's what we're going to confront within this is going to be tough and I want to open up a can of worms that is is is pretty complicated and and troubling but I want to take you down this path I was listening to a guest last night we probably ought to find him and play the clip but I'll I'm gonna repeat repeated for memory the reason I'm a little leery is I don't know what the guy's real agenda is he was a doctor on fox news guesting with Martha McCallum and I suspect he's old he's progressive lefty because he said well you know the World Health Organization was warning us December thirty first we just stop with the warnings and everybody knew because the whole world has been caught by surprise by this and I'm so sick of the politicization of this issue I'm so tired of hearing trump had new people died and then we got to turn around to remind you about all the city state and federal leaders like Pelosi diplomacy even Dr Fauci on January twenty sixth and I would say I love the guy we got him on the show I I believe in him I trust Dr Burks I think we've got a couple of the best in the world.

President Donald Trump Gives Coronavirus Update

"Yeah we've written a letter just recently he's been there for a long time and was captured long ago Austin Tice's mother is probably watching and she's a great lady and we're doing the best we can so Syria please work with us and we would appreciate the leading them out if you think about what we've done we've gotten rid of the ISIS caliphate in Syria with dental after Syria we have to see if they're going to do this so it would be very much appreciated if they would let Austin Tice out the media at Lee as you know my administration is working every day to protect American people and the American economy from the virus yesterday I signed into law a critical support for American workers families and small businesses big thanks we're providing sick leave and family medical leave to those affected by the virus and more help is on the way as we speak our entire team headed by secretary Mnuchin is on the hill we're working with Democrats and Republicans and there's a lot of good will going on this was something that happened that is what is some people it's an act of god I don't view it as an act of god I would view it as is something that just surprised the whole world and if people would have known about it could to stop and stop in place it could have been stopped right word came from China if we would have known about it if they would have known about it but now the whole world almost is inflicted with this horrible with this horrible virus and that's too bad it's too bad because we never had an economy is good is the economy we had just a few weeks ago but we'll be back and I actually they will be back stronger than ever before because we learned a lot during this period of time I also just invoke the defense production act to help facilitate distribution of essential supplies if necessary we're working with Congress to provide major additional relief to the workers small businesses and the hardest hit industries we want to make sure that everybody is able to continue on so that when we recovered all of these companies and these great businesses both very very small and very very large is not going to be broken up and you have to put it back together that would take a long time because we really believe in I believe in the V. curve I believe it's going to go when this is when this is defeated this hidden scorch is defeated I think we're going to go up very rapidly our economy and get back to where it was and beyond today I want to share with you exciting progress that the FDA is making with the private sector as we slash red tape like nobody has ever done it before somebody was on yesterday one of the networks and said that there there's never been a president even close it's been able to do what I've done in slash and all of the red tape and everything to get very important things to the market medicals so we slash red tape to develop vaccines and therapies as fast as it can possibly be done long before anybody else was even thinking about doing this and as you know earlier this week we began the first leg of trial of a vaccine candidate for the virus and that was launched in record time it was just a few weeks and that would have taken years to do not so long ago as we race to develop a vaccine were also pursuing antiviral therapies and that's what really was going to be talking to you about today that's the purpose of being up here today and to me that's even more aboard the vaccine by its nature you have to have long test because you have to make sure what goes into somebody's body is not going to do destruction to bad things so you need long tests and they're doing great with the vaccines but there's still a long process but the therapies or something we can move on much faster potentially and the treatments that will be able to reduce the severity or duration of the symptoms make people better said she would look into it things to make people better or at the very early stages they wouldn't even know they had it and that's where I believe it's going to work even the best the FDA commissioner Stephen on is with us is fantastic and he is been working twenty four hours a day he's been this works like probably as hard or harder than anybody in this in the group other than maybe Mike pence or me and what the FDA is doing is incredible they've done things in times that were not even thinkable and I've directed the FDA to eliminate outdated rules and bureaucracy so this work can proceed rapidly quickly and that means fast and we have to remove every barrier there are a lot of barriers that were unnecessary and they've done that to get the rapid deployment of safe effective treatments and we think we have some good answers we'll find out very very soon clinical trials are already underway for many new therapies in were working on scaling these two allow many more Americans to access different drugs that have shown really good promise that term on it really good profits we will do so in a way that lets us continue to collect the data to know which medicines are safe and which medicines are working the best we have a couple that were we're in really good shape for and and that's for immediate delivery the media like as fast as we can get it the FDA has also approved compassionate use for a significant number of patients you know what that means we're also revealing drugs that are approved abroad or drugs approved here for other uses and you know one of the things that I'm most proud of that I got was right to try that's where somebody who's ill somebody who's very sick terminally ill usually in past administrations we signed this a year and a half ago you wouldn't be able to even think about getting any of the drugs that may be showing great promise now and they've been trying for many decades to get this approved it sounds simple but it's not because there's liability involved in lots of other things and I was able to get it approved working with Congress right to try this is beyond right to try what we're talking about today is B. Andre to try right to try has been by the way tremendous success people are living now that had no chance of living where we take a trip instead would do things that that would have to go through years of a process and if somebody was terminally ill and I would say why would they be able to try this did go to Asia they go to Europe they go all over the world to try and find something for some people and they had no money we go home today they go home to die they had no hope right to dry it's been an incredible success but this is beyond right to try if treatment is known to be safe in Europe Japan or other nations are effective against the virus will use that information to protect the health and safety of American people nothing will stand in our way as we pursue any Avenue to find what best works against this horrible virus now a drug called Laura Quinn and some people would add to it hydroxy hydroxy Clark with sure chloroform or hydroxy chloroquine that is a common malaria drug it's also a drug use for strong arthritis somebody has a pretty serious arthritis also uses this in a somewhat different form but it is known as a malaria drug and it's been around for a long time and is very powerful but the nice part is it's been around for a long time so we know that if it if if things don't go as planned it's not going to kill anybody when you go with a brand new drugs you don't know that that's going to happen you have to see and you have to go along test but this is been used in different forms very powerful drug in different forms added shown very encouraging very very encouraging early results and we're going to be able to make that drug available almost immediately and that's where the FDA has been so great they they've gone through the approval process it's been approved and they did it they took it down from many many months to immediate so we'll be able to make that drug available by prescription orders states I spoke with governor Cuomo about it a great length last night and that he he wants to be right on on the it was the first on line and so I think that's a tremendous there's tremendous promise based on the results and other tests of this tremendous promise and normally the FDA would take a long time to approve something like that and it's it was approved very very quickly and it's now approved by prescription individual states will handle it they can handle it doctors will handle it and I think it's going to be at I think it's going to be great there were quickly studying this drug in while we're continuing to study it but the setting is going to be also done in as it's given out to large groups of people perhaps in New York and other places will stay at their their a promising therapies produced by Gilly add and that's register via our realm decibel are and that's a drug used for other purposes that's been out and said very good results for other purposes but it seems to have a very good result having to do with this virus and that drug also has been the approved or very close to approved in that case by the FDA and I can't tell you how much we appreciate what the FDA these people are incredible patriots and the job that Stephen Honda's doing doctor Han was one of the most respected doctors in the country by the way where we took him I said you sure you want to do this yeah we didn't know that this was going to be in the playlist what happened here but he really has stepped up to the plate whether you are words you will have a check is him but I'm not supposed to do that get me bloody trouble of a hit but he's been fantastic and I think a doctor is going to speak right after
