Playing Your Big Data Hand to Win

"I thought poker was supposed to be played one way. I thought that fish in general did a reacted in one way and the data has just shown me over and over and over again. That a lot of these assumptions i made are just not right and that to me is exciting because that represents a possibility for just growing at leaps and bounds of comment a questionable astakhov question. Actually so i think it can be hard to sort of access data in a very data form when you're playing or trying to memorize those sorts of things. A lot like the assumptions that it are very narrative inform. You know this player. Does this because they have this nature Experienced this thing they feel this way. Are you trying to kind of convert data into maybe structures that fit better into just like the human brain for you trying to really train your brandon in just in terms of data. I tried to train my brain to think. In terms of data people ask me about narrative like why do players do this all the time and i tell them i don't know don't think about it. It's not worthy of attaching a story to why they're doing it. I just know the data reflects that they do and i accept that and and so really it becomes a mathematical equation at that point of just under standing the lines in question and understanding what the data tells me. These players are likely to do the actions. They're likely to take and then making the highest decision at that node in the decision tree like that's really basically measuring weighing fighting the best lines and then compiling them in such a way that you can study and you can memorize you can

"Our Body is comprised of mostly bacteria versus human cells. So so we're actually more bacteria tend to one humans. So, when you think about that and then you think back to the chemicals that were. Applying to our homes and The chemicals in our food in these think about how much bacteria we really are as people. You, start to think more about how this symbiotic relationship is so important to everything that we do and into our health. So we know that that bacteria in our gut specifically houses over half of our immune system, which is new research, but very important research. and. So there's so there's you WanNa, have a good balance in your case starting from there but then we get into you what's called leaky gut now leaky got can happen because of despite. Because of that imbalance in the gut and because the opportunistic bad bacteria. Start to win right. If you lick the side of your cheek, you'll feel a really smooth. Yup released mood service, right I think about like that surface. So when you zoom all the way in to the gut lining the cells of the gut lining. They look like little finger cells called the Lai. And actually the finger cells had little finger cells on them called microbial I. K. so our. Digestive track. Should be considered an open end to open system right with. The food goes in her mouth goes through our body. We expel out our bottom, what we don't want, and we move on right open end open end. Where we absorb our nutrients in the guy is with the help of those little finger like cells case if you're picturing the finger like cells. They should be permeable enough. To wear properly digested food particles. A nutrients will go in through that lining in into the bloodstream and sent to wherever they're not to go. Right they go where they're supposed to go. But what happens is when you get despite excess when you? Eat foods like gluten like dairy like artificial flavors. Preservatives, agricultural chemicals, different man made synthetic created things. That all wreaks havoc on the gut lining and your gut lining always regenerating and so for some people, it might not big of a deal be that big of a deal they can handle it right But over time with assault after assault after assault, and for lot of these kids, we also have a genetic predisposition. Okay. So we also have that playing to. With all the combined factors eventually, what happens is that leaky got can concert to open up those V lie and those finger like cells and once those. V lie those finger like cells are compromised. Now we have this protective barrier. That's compromised in a way where it's going to let undigested foods. And particles and pathogens of other kinds into the bloodstream where they never ever should've been in the first place right because it should have all just been properly absorbed you expel what you don't need. So. Big Protein Molecules. Like gluten. Can. Be Very, very havoc wreaking. For people who are all ready predisposition four that compromise got nothing. So then what happens especially for Kiddos with Down Syndrome if you've got oral motor issues where you're then defaulting only two. Crunchy foods that melt in your mouth or foods like noodles or like soft foods that you really don't have to chew that much before he swallowed them. Will that's why they're defaulting. To because it safe in terms of oral motor over time. That then spirals into Ken spiral into leaky gut despite success. which so now let's connect the gluten and how it impacts the brain. So once that barrier is compromised and casing, which is the protein molecules found in dairy casein seen gluten which is. We haven't defined gluten. So for those of you who are may be listening who have been a loss that I apologize. Gluten is the protein molecule found in weeks, barley rye other grains, not all grants contain gluten, but many of them do. CONVENTIONAL OATS also if they're not free, they are likely cross contaminated with gluten just out there So anyway these. Proteins. They go into into the gut. They get into the bloodstream through without compromise gut lining, and now they're in the bloodstream and bloodstreams going hold on, wait a second. We've never seen that in here before we better go attack that. So now you have your immune system response. Going after those protein molecules. Now. Here's where it gets interesting because everyone's symptoms are so varying. So, you've got some kids.

The Economic Case for Electrifying Everything

"So. Let's turn to our topics this week, and we'll start out with another report that has come out but this one is very different from some of the climate reports. We've been discussing a plan to create millions and millions of jobs by electrifying the economy and slashing emissions eighty, five percent. It's simple. It's elegant and the authors say it is totally doable. The authors are Saul Griffith. Sam College Alex Laskey you might know Saul Griffith we profiled him on a recent what it takes episode and he talked a little bit about how this the the origins of this plan came together and Alex Laskey is the CO founder of power and we profile. His Co founder Dan Yates on a recent what it takes as well. So they're part of a team called rewiring America, which is putting out a series of technical reports, mobilization plans for rapidly electrifying in decarbonising America, and putting a lot of people to work in the process. So there are two parts to this conversation was the actual modelling that goes into the plan, and the other is the economic benefit and jobs claims. So Melissa, let's look at the origins It doesn't start with emissions instead, it looks at decarbonisation the way an engineer might an engineer like yourself walk us through the basis of how they're modeling the decarbonised economy in this report. Is this interesting at you know I've been a model for fifteen plus years i. like modeling thing saying what happens with that? From a modeling approach. I mean frequently when we look at climate mitigation so how do we reduce emissions? We start with an emissions target or frequently in combination of emissions, targets, economic development targets, etc, and then we kind of back our we into what the mix of things could look like to meet that. So it's this top down approach or this perfect foresight. We know what's happening in the future and we back out from there in this report, they really looked at what machines and equipment are out there. What could we get out there and how quickly could we do it and they went from there? So they said, okay, what can we get online if we really double down on this and they broke it into a couple of stages stage one being ramp up production of technologies and Stage two being okay. Let's deploy these things as quickly as possible. So it was this bottom up, call it an engineer's dream because it gives me a lot of tech to play with and look at. But it really gives you the nitty gritty on how do we get this done? So, in this modeling, they mostly focus on electrification unpack how they do that yes. On the electrification side, they look at how do we beef up the supply side of things ahead we get all the power generation we need in line and I've got a lot of thoughts especially around their cost assumptions and what they think we can actually accomplish. Jigger I'm curious what you think about it as well but then on the demand side I mean they also say, okay, every car that gets sold when your targets taking off the road isn't electric one every bit of equipment in your house would replace there's no more combustion it's going to be electric I'm so it's it's essentially a near one, hundred percent replacement rate zero carbon technologies. As soon as you would naturally retire those things they do have a caveat in the report which is interesting of saying they're not forcing you to early retire. Anything, but it would help if you did. I like. I think this is fantastic. Right that it's exactly what we've been saying on the energy gang for seven years right which is that we have the technologies necessary to decarbonised and we have to deploy faster. I think that part of this that. Is still sort of not fitting exactly together for me is what are the forces around here that will make it happen i. You know I think that part of the reason I'm hopeful I had a long conversation with Alex about this, we had a good reconnection in these inspired me to figure out how to get involved with rewiring America but like is it. The when we think about for instance The planned obsolescence of natural gas utilities natural gas utility spent about seventeen billion dollars a year on distribution grids and other sort of Cap Bax. In the local level, you could imagine that they could spend that seventeen billion dollars making all these things come true. So whenever someone's gas boiler? goes out they could replace it with electrify everything solutions and they could actually just charge people thirty bucks a month or whatever for the next twenty years to recoup their their costs right. So there are ways to actually figure out how to do this. But I. Think it's critical for an a report like this to come out I and to say it's actually possible. The math actually works. Now, where's the political willpower to actually make this happen and there's some really interesting insights, a commodity report that I think many of us who've been steeped in this? No but for think the first time watcher is shocking. Right So the energy information, administration and many other sources really always compare solar and wind to primary energy. Right. So the way that the world works is you basically pull oil out of the ground ten percent of all of our energy in the United States and pretty much globally is used to bring this kind of stuff out of the ground and then. You say you know this is how many quads of energy we use as a society right and so of solar and wind come in at two percent of that energy. Then people say look how small it is. But in fact, when that energy actually goes to keep your beer cold as emery, Levin's would say. It loses about seventy percent of its energy through the process right in transporting the oil than like. How to put it into a refinery, converting it into useful fuels like gasoline and diesel. Then actually burning that fuel and you know and creating the electricity that then actually keeps your beer cold all the losses in there are eliminated when you go directly to electricity but in but we are constantly comparing ourselves to primary energy and so part of what this report shows is a week actually eliminate fifty percent of our entire primary energy usage just by electrifying everything right because you lose all those losses

Didn't I wasn't smart in once wise enough to bring that in. I know there's not blaming game but I I WANNA take the fall on a Sam. Sorry that I'm not a good son in that moment might House the First Time I saw my dad crying. He's crying so bad and then he hugged meets the why lobby. I know there's nothing that you know and it was a good moment of healing. I needed that a lot. That's the word Malachi says that God will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children are so the children to their fathers. That's true reconciliation in the ailing. Yeah that's exactly. The word of God gave me to go back to my house and and work how this relationship my dad and he was amazing was like I just saw sense of freedom. southlake joy in a lot of things were worked out after dad and then back then that was like two thousand now in my the girl was dating she decided to do her. DT DDS. In Dan. We stay like A year par when she came back we start talking again. Say Okay. The final chewy pursue this Asu not alike. Well should we so we start praying about it in we. We both fell piece. We say I think that's shoe and we literally you know. We engaged in a year a year later in all that was like you know two dozen one. Dan and I was like twenty two and she was very unctuous. Nineteen so we got married in October. Two thousand one might fathering laws like no. You need to need to buy a house if you WANNA get may already know that no random place and it was like why not so people random places they played no. You're taking my daughter out on my house you're going to you know have something secure so and that's what I didn't bought out like okay so I bought a house and we moved into the house. Lead there for what one year after year we fell. You know we receive another team from Church and I was like I was leading worship in my church leading the the young adults. My wife was working accounts in late. You know those like they buy day routine or like we're doing. UK were impacting. Not some people. We're doing fine but those the fire that flame and it was like he just couldn't shake it off in the thing. Is that we. We were so passionate about about this Gospel. Now I was like man. Everybody's here this like I cannot camp it and so most of my friends that we use drugs together now beer church so we jumped from like fifteen people young and the teenagers and youth. We have now hundred and we know what to do them like. Why are we going to do with so many people now? Oh Him. Then we create a ministry or with the help of wow. I'm in Col- kinks kids. So they came in trained some of the staff in our church to do like dances is in dramas in music and so he will travel. So that's what we did travel with. Is that say seventy to eighty people and maybe every couple months. Let's go to defense. CD and do like Evangelism Street evangelism using drama and dance and music to reach the canes sin went manny different schools. Goes to the same thing in our church silent growing a lot more now in Biden. I knew I wasn't supposed to be there so in two thousand beginning of two dozen to we receive a Team they went to Australia for the Olympic Games and came back to give feedback to the church. They did and Tell the testimonies as inside feels like. Wow that's pretty cool. And then they say we feel. The Lord is calling us back to Australia to starve. A creative arts ministry and we need right now any dancers who need we need. We need musicians. And if you guys on Got Him just increase. This team in his pioneering so we went back home and ride there. I A new while supposed to go back to women is supposed to be to join his team in felt like okay. I'll join this team but it was like okay. Laurie do something you need to call me. It's my wife now because we have Evan brand new house a new house in God awesome confirms things through our wise. Sometimes I think I got married to the Holy Spirit and a because the you know the bring doug good balance in a sense of like ok a piece in. He's a good combination. I love. That's why I believe marriage in family just like Expression of God's desire and his will I know is just like perfect and the combination that works again so we prayed in a gaylord. That's you next morning in practice. You like. I need to talk to you. Remember last night we heard people talking about is the gap. And she's like few flea she start playing ball joining this team. What fuel and as I wanted me? It's like well I just feel like my spirit that we need to stop nothing and I'll say well we should pray about it but I told her what he feel. Initially I feel we should go by. I want to our master pray together. Her but at night told her actually. I feel that we should go but I was waiting on you so we just prayed and say yeah. I think that's what we're GONNA do. We we end up gay giving everything wheeling over furniture furniture like we just gave it away. I'M GONNA I didn't know what to expect. They didn't know what to do. We just felt like we should just step of faith faith and just keep it staff away. And that's that's what we did and then we moved to Australia in starkness. No pioneered his new ministry there in South Australia. WCTCAM DOT lead in. Stay there for for y'All seven years and I our oldest son was born. There Nicholas was born in Adelaide so after working travel so much in love. Study empowering your spiritual journey your relationship with the Holy Spirit veered and understanding of the scriptures will increase as you use the spirit empowered journal by your paperback copy on Amazon Dot Com or fire born ministries dot com. What would you tell people who are hungry for prophetic encounters I would tell them that. It's okay to desire such things. The Bible title tells us to eagerly desired spiritual gifts especially that you would prophesy and because prophecy is like the heart of the Lord It's what he's saying you. There's nothing wrong with pursuing it. You know if it's cultivating relationships with him becoming transparent with him being sounds friend being faithful being the voted like for no other reason but for him you know like him being the desire her because when you want him who were real himself to you and his heart and then the prophetic close man I I know that. He lost talk to his kids. Kids and the Prophetic is here. And God and then speaking fourth what he's saying and he could communicate that and mold different ways but I know that God has as you mentoring many others. What is he doing in this season of your life? Why one thing I'm doing is likely group of women which creates a safe place for them to learn to row to the Lord and also to worship him with all their heart and to like grown vulnerability in fellowship with another so? Those three things like always go on to a degree at our meeting. So the vulnerability allows room for the Prophetic Ministry of one. Another and I I love just hearing people say oh like I heard this. And they're like Oh God holy that like just the first time they're like actually hearing God and like giving people room in a place prophesy because a lot of times that's not something that's available in churches is a safe place for people to prophesy another thing that I've been doing just kind of pulling out people's of angelico gifts so take them out in the streets of me and like I'm just either all show them what I'm doing. As far as ministering to people but also like encouraging them to do it themselves so like I'll start with small teams teams like small groups. That's awesome. "No. It's odd to say but sometimes like I don't think it's more disturbance though and you kind of link your feeling becomes like smelling you mean in Scott Gilbert were in his vehicle gus the humble Tesla and he smelled. I think roses long while we're in prayer and we'd had an djelic encounter in that in that vehicle on the way back to his Dojo but he'd smell it you and identity. He thought maybe you put on essential oils. But he's just blown away by that. But I've been around times where you smell the rose of Sharon in revival meetings and it's no one's perfume by smelling is part of it. I think it's more of the sermon. Like they know they feel like those gifts. They tied together. You know like Spirits are meant more the they're all like but when you're receiving this information you're having an ongoing dialogue with with Jesus the whole time because he might give you a piece and then sometimes I know for me because even last night I picked up a guy for work and picking them up from the airport and take him to the company and start having some information coming but I start dialoguing with Jesus the whole time to ask for more because sometimes it's a little vague like he'll give you something brief because I asked him do you have a Dr and then and then he starts answering these questions. But I'm God moved and he recognized it as the Holy Spirit moving vehicle and so the hallway there forty five minutes. We're having seven and ongoing conversation. And he was he was moved by the Holy Spirit so some deep do the same thing whereas I god might give you a pitcher but he start asking more questions yes good morning. So I'm on the streets I do though Mike Stumping for somebody like because I want to administer to church so there are people already open you know most of the time. They're believers like they kind of know that God speaks to people but when you're on the street you know this is all foreign to people like so at that time I actually. That's the best thing to do with somebody question. Mike does this mean something new or like you know. What do you think about this or you know? Sometimes I'll get like so for some reason. I always see the teaching anointing or call as an apple speaks me and like so then like when I see the apple for the person and like it depends on how the apple has like. It's it can be open or whatever so I'll just ask them. Oh do you teach you know really are you thinking about it or the person usually responds. Yes because I did see that and like it opens up this like the one time I asked this girl and she was actually served just applying for a teaching position. Now like I haven't taught years but I'm going for it and hence the guests that was Laura's he sees what you're doing thing he knows what you're doing and that's your chance encourage and edify empower them. Exhorted them through that knowledge or imagery that you received because that's like the doorway away. That's what's God's heart at the time like I see this part of your life like let me communicate it to you that I see that you know like I mean. That's kind of how I view the prophetic. It's God's way of saying like I know you. I want you to know that I'm involved in this part of your wife and I mean that's not all that the prophetically when it comes on the like personal prophetic ministry cylinder on the streets. God gives you a word of knowledge which is worth telling something or it confirms or affirm from something that he's done in the person's life whether it's a call occasion gift spiritual gift but then when you're on the streets how do you move into foretelling and and something that always shone about their future. And then how do you process that to deliver to them. Mall depends Usually we all do it while I'm praying over them. Okay so it's not like I'm directly telling them but it's more of a pastoral approach because I'll do it. Yeah so like I'll I'll just start talking about their future and praying into their future calling forth that way because they do need intercession. Listen for it you know. And actually they won't be as kind of put off by it because you know I mean people we don't know we're talking to own around the St Louis. Their experience of the Laura's is or anything like that so I don't call it modern down but just easier lighter version. I understand the Lord like view. Should go here personal with them. You're being relatable and for the most part in I've been on the streets and people receive a well but what do you do when there's that one person who may not receive it go well at all. Do you mean like after you like say something to them. You give them a prophetic word. Give Him a word of knowledge judge. I've done street ministry years ago and people threaten me where he can pull knives. And this is prophetic and just well Jesus loves you. And that's how he gave me that information about your grandma praying for you at specific details and this is twenty years ago and then I just do an about face and leave. So there's there's rejection. So how do you handle the rejection. I don't really think too much about people on the street but reject me just because like but you love the people. Yeah I mean I've gone but that's just me like You know I don't know where they're out the Lord you know. It's a little harder when people in the Church Act me but how does our someone in the church hazard choked because these are like your brothers and sisters in Christ unlike you have the Holy Spirit it and you know you have the Holy Spirit. So it's like just kind of figuring out like okay. Obviously they're not hearing what I'm hearing or I don't know how to deliver this piece of information because I've gotten really very detailed information about leaders you know and I'm I'm actually very free to like release those words you know. Earn Link picking out how I do. It is like being very very careful with what I say which leads me to say something very important. That's not necessarily the best approach which we should say with wisdom and care by if we don't say things exactly the win. Awards says it to us a lot of times. Something gets lost in delivery like for example label. If God is like says you know this person like their mother mental ought to them because they were there for them at this really hard time zones and then you say something like does your mom means something to you and they say gas and it's like I just felt like the Lord said that you know you have a close relationship. Sir was not the same but it is the same thing but it's like and then like the powers gone through the specifics of like if you know got tells you something like Mike. Just say what you think you here and say that is in at the same time. No that were on the process of learning growing xactly as soon as far as Gold Max rejection are on the streets like I mean these people. You're there for to love them you know and like if they don't receive love from you because you're a complete stranger ranger like or maybe because we don't know what saying those things are actually doing in their heart like what is triggering like grace of bounds like in the situations. You know. It's like okay. I'm sorry I you know disturbed you. God bless you walk away like I guess is a situation dictates the response goodbye poll Couple but can you shared are you and I have talked about ascending into the into the throne room. Would you mind sharing some of those experiences or encounters if the Holy Spirit leads. I don't WanNa pull anything because I know the Apostle Paul talks about a man. He doesn't say his name but cotton context. It's probably him who was sins. Who encounters the Third Third Heaven who experiences Paradise and ascending is? Just honestly it begins with intimacy with Jesus but with a cindy. Would you mind sharing some prophetic encounters at the Holy Spirit may release you to share on this podcast. I would say probably the few times that I remember doing that specifically typically like. We're you know I may have been doing another time. So there were like really clear times when I was brought into the problems of God and all my senses were completely like overwhelmed and prior to getting to that place it was. I was engaging in a way my heart was like entirely really open and worshipping him. Like with every little ounce of my being like I was born male about to gun and in that moment like the largest took me like I felt felt myself literally be removed from my mic. where I was to describe it you know like I just didn't feel like I was in my body anymore but I was is with the Lord you could feel his presence and it's really intense and like I mean one time Raven felt like burst into flames? I was on fire fire like it was so intense like I have no. I was like the came out of that dripping sweat everywhere and I was. It's like I was like why was appointed that to be honest with you except for like I remember the one time that happened God said specifically like in my spirit like he hears voice. Okay so but like my spirit knew in that moment that God is in full control and end like that was like what he wanted to show me through that encounter we as humans that we can control things or you know he was like and like you think the world is bad state like I've still had full control and I was like Gosh like it's it was amazing because I remember leaving that. Wow like nothing is impossible for God. He's just a me his powerful. You know like I know leaving those places. I'm ahead more fruit. Metlife as horse faith trusting in justice confidence like in the Lord not myself just like even. I don't like things around. May I wouldn't be exactly like all that Pete. Like peaches and cream guns good like those his moments of being with him up there they change your perspective on the change your life initially us. Hey guys I'm talking to Victoria Varney. I hope Buren join this conversation. But we're going to be back right after this break right. Before Jesus ascended into heaven he gave his disciples the Great Commission promising them the precious gift of the Holy Spirit in acts one verse eight. Jesus said.

"Today I I have jared laskey and he is the founder of fire born ministries and. I'm really excited to learn more about it. How are you doing today jared? Oh it's a phenomenal day. It's a great adventure today. Seeing God moving in power it's awesome. Yeah I'm doing great. I just I can't believe we're already in November. That's insane to to me but I'm trying to just man. Yeah I love it. I love doing these interviews. I feel like they make the week. Go faster unfortunately but I do love doing in them. So it's just another plus you know in my week and now I know that we're GonNa have a lot of fun. Talking about your ministry today. Jared so just to give our listeners a better understanding inning of you where is your ministry based from. Where do you work out of? My Ministry is currently based in the Virginia beach area. I started it in and can't lose you. North Carolina About Twenty twelve and then come twenty fifteen moved up here to Virginia Beach Hampton Roads Community to continue higher education for Myself Reach University. And we've been operating up here ever since cool. Yeah so it sounds like you've already you know you've got your vision. And what what you want for your ministry. So you're just going for it and I love that so we'll give our listeners a better understanding of what that looks like a little more indepth throughout the interview so so let's just go ahead and let them understand more about it. Tell US exactly jared. What is the mission there at fire born ministries well farber ministries mysteries? I'd like to say that we live to see Jesus awaken this generation to the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus this is the most important person the kindest gentlest most incredible person I've ever met and it's been my pleasure to serve him since I was seventeen eighteen years of age and see him take me around the world. Take me through the Marine Corps. Take me through combat deployments. Take me you you even healing a post traumatic stress disorder and just seeing him move empower each and every single day because people need to encounter him and and I believe firmly in strongly that without him or nothing and Jesus gets all the credit for our ministry for everything that we do in our families families and our businesses and every endeavor that that we set our hands to I know that that's kind of broad. But I my passion is to see people people come to Jesus to see them get to know him to grow in him and then for them to turn around and then tell others about him. I love that so much and I love that you keep it broad too because it just gives you the chance to reach so many people now. I know that you started this Ministry for a reason and you know a a lot of it has to do with your mission but you also saw that there was a need for this. So how did this ministry began. What was it that made you say I need to go start this? That's a great question. Russian I think it started with a seed even as a teenager before he even serving. Jesus personally you know. I was born and raised in the church but what there was a part of me back. Then that wanted to make a difference on society on the world and even just to tell the world awake up But but then when I was seventeen and I spent five days in the hospital from burst appendix and I I encountered the presence of the Holy Spirit for the first time in a hospital room room and that kind of changed the trajectory of my life and within six or so much I mean. I wasn't serving Jesus too well as a teenager. But within six for seven months of that encounter in the hospital I gave my life fully to him. I gave up my drugs. I gave them my alcohol. I walked away from my past and I jumped into ministry are jumped into discipleship. And there's that seed still in me of wanting people to wake up and I think being in Christ and the longer I walked with him I saw that it was to awaken people to him. You know there's I went to. India went to Mexico Mexico and went to New York City. I've been on a short term mission trips over to your combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. And there's always been that wanting to see people people encounter Jesus and even the infantryman that I worked with in Iraq Afghanistan. Oh seven or eight and nine you know God was speaking to them and he was using to point them to him. And so there's always that desire there's always those things where God just Kinda naturally opens opens the tours and we get to walk through them and just to get people to wake up and see him for who he is and how much he loved them so I'd always had the name fire born on my mind and that was because of acts chapter one verse eight and Acts Chapter Two verses one through four you know the the precious day of pentecost the Holy Spirit did on those days you know Jesus said in acts one eight that his disciples will be his witnesses to Jerusalem Judea Samaria and to all the the ends of yours and what's amazing is that he went I and each and every person listening. We have that we can do that. We can do. Jesus did did and we could go be witnesses everywhere. We go whether that's going into a grocery store whether that's raising our kids you know Stewarding in hosting his presence in their homes or even our workplaces and just everywhere we go show people how much he loves them. I mean it's it's an awesome adventure. So fire born comes out of that acts one eight in acts chapter two verses one through four an experience that we get to have. Yeah and thank you for explaining. I love that and also thank you so much for your service to our country. I I'm grateful for it and I'm sure a lot of our listeners are two and now with your experience I think it just equips you so well to influence people who have gone through that you know Life lessons are the best way to teach other people and so I just. I think it's great that you're taking the experience you have and pouring into your ministry so thank you so much and now going a little bit deeper into your ministry and and what you offer to help people tell us a little bit about the resources that you do have to help equip people and spread the love of Christ. Well currently I just self published a Bible Study Journal called the Spirit Empowered Journal When I first got to Regent University in Twenty Sixteen Sixteen a professor of mine saw that I wrote and he liked what I rode? He liked my papers and then he found out that I write for God. TV right for charisma. Magazine and other blogs Christian blogs out there on on the Internet he approached me and asked if I could look at one of his manuscripts scripts of a book that he was writing. And it was called Latino Herman Knicks. Now Herman is a fancy term for the scientific study of Bible Study of knowing how to study the scripture but while looking and proof reading through his books I dissect it seven or eight principals cancels from it and then I was like Dr Alvarez. I'm coming up with the journal idea so I wa improve rigging has book I make his journal. I give it to him and he loves it. And then I sit on it for a couple years. I venture into Church planting other ministry history completing my master's vanity. You know life you know work And then in time you go back to that project when the Holy Spirit kind of leads you and you refined it's reedited. You know you've learned more since you just Kinda tabled it because for me. Writing is like an ongoing dialogue with him. And it's almost like you're right and then you might stop it for a little while you might just keep it in a afford or you know on your computer. And then eventually he'll lead you back to it so here. It was there's project that's sitting on my computer for a couple of years and then I just started sensing him. I'm telling me to revisit that so then my wife and I started looking at it. And we re edited we Try to make it a lot more applicable and then we we just took the step of faith and self published it And we've had some very good positive results from now People this the system is kind of an interesting system Bible study. I have three degrees in Ministry and Theology About Your Science Master of Arts and a Master Master of divinity and through all these you know the Bible College and two seminaries. It's almost like I was taught that you can't combine with the Scripture says says to what the Holy Spirit is currently saying but through all these years I'm like no I don't think that's true. There's a way to look look at what the Holy Spirit of saying now and we seem to you and also what set in the Scripture and be faithful to both and so die second doctor over as his book. I felt like like I found the bridge that that crosses the chasm between the two between what the Scripture said to what the Holy Spirit seeing now and then coming up with his journal. I believe that this is part of that process so that people when they read the Scripture when they studied the scripture they can also see that their life relates needs to it and that their church community relates to it and then they also have a conversation with the Holy Spirit through that and see what he's saying now through that to them isn't it so cool how the Holy Spirit just allows things to take place to move you forward and what he's called you to do. I think that's awesome. You know it started with you reviewing and editing and now look here you are. I just think it's so cool this the way he's lying that all up and now he's obviously done that for a reason and you already started impacting your community. But how have you seen your ministry already impact the community but also impact you personally. I think every day whether we're whatever it is that we're doing maybe even our errands ministry is part of my life. And I think that it's it's the outflow of loving Jesus spending time with him and also spending time with him. When I'm driving a car running an errand and so even if I'm doing some a busy work I still go be Jesus to somebody so I I've done big events you know done big Easter outreach? It is I've done crusades. I've gone on mission trips. You know all those things are amazing but the end of the day. Just impacting one person. Every day I try to make it a policy where I need to occur someone I need to edify someone or even speak a word of destiny to someone I come across whether it's my cashier or the waitress or like the other week my hairstylist. You know I go in to get get a haircut and then what the Holy Spirit did through our conversation and then her foot getting healed. You know that's just being Jesus to someone every day and we can all do that so it's an adventure. It's an amazing adventure spending time with him but at the same time just hinting through you. Showing people how much he loves them. And that's just a place of surrender you know so we can get caught up things a life you know we can even get caught up in the a busy work of ministry or even full time ministry but we can't lose sight of who it's about it's not about us. It's not about my logo. Oh it's not about my brand. It's not about you know me it's about him through it all and it's about him through me to others you know the scripture says there's an awesome summarizes love. God love others. God love others so I go show people. Oh how much. He loves them because that flows out of my love for him. I love the way that you described that it's really easy to understand puts a whole new perspective on it honestly Asli and now. It wouldn't be fair if we told everyone all about your your mission all about your ministry and didn't tell them how they can get involved in how they can be a part of something bigger than themselves and I think you hit the nail on the head when you said it's just about being Jesus to ever someone every day and so I love that it puts puts it in a really tangible. Easy thing to do. It seems easy and sometimes it's just you know. Sometimes our own pride gets in the way. But how can we get involved with with your ministry. Jared where are we able to access this. Well first and foremost pray you know. Continue to pray for this Ministry Week. Pray for me I'm currently doing a lot of writing and developing in e cores called fellowship of the holy..

"And I met and you're on this adventure. I'm on an adventure. I've actually successfully failed at church planting which is easy to do Taylor. I had been part of a failed church merger and not actually had power and love on the merger plan after all these stetzer supposed to take place but after facing some severe adversity and then being led by the Holy Spirit and getting out of that situation we met through mutual friend. And he's like call Scott and I was like I think you called me. I can within. Yeah he gave me your number right and then you an art start talking. I just mentioned are right for God. TV I'm trying to do is church plant in this situation. We're looking for new space and your dough. Joe was is available which was amazing so thanks again hundred. And you'd said. Have you ever heard of Tom White. I said yes and you said you WANNA do a power low. I said so do I and you say you need to be here. And so we scheduled a meeting and within a few months I successfully closed the church. We we'd lumped it along but we closed stupid. I knew that power and love. We're supposed to work on it and so we pretty much squeezed the trigger in September. So what has been doing as were on misadventure for Virginia Beach Pound. Oh this is so exciting so we have compiled together. A group of seventy five probably seventy six by now l.. Seventy five seventy six pastors churches ministry leaders business people that are all working together for unity to bring power and loved Virginia Beach to bring Todd Whites Ministry here. Bring Todd in the team. The amazing thing is when power love comes in. Nobody's face is on it. There's no big church that sponsoring it. Nobody gets to plug their thing at power love. There's no vendors it is not about that. You know what it's all about Jesus. Jesus it's not even about todd. Cheese hot is amazing. But he's incredibly reclusive. He doesn't behave like a celebrity. He behaves like a regular person and Just amazing things that I've learned from working with them. But the point is we have cobbled together over the last year seventy seventy five very disparate groups. That are all working together to bring power love here and the unity. There were seeing in the body of Christ yes. We have a charismatic. Here's Mannix on the PENTECOSTAL churches. But we also have more mainstream. You know we also have business owners we also have people you know. We have African American churches and we have Caucasian churches and we have Filipino and we have churches that might not normally play nicely together. They're all coming together for the for the specific reason that they wanna see revival. I think that the listener needs to understand. This is unheard of in this community. We might be the land of C. B. N. Reaching University of some megachurches. But most people WANNA brand at put their face on it but God has raised up Scott here appear to be the host. The lead of Virginia Beach Power and love and seen seventy five churches ministries para church ministries to be part of this. That is a miracle as he saying a lot of these churches. Don't play Nice. They WANNA be Solo. They might have the resources to do their own thing. But guys this miracles and this is through my friends Scott so as as I'm getting I'm meeting these people and these different pastors I have a couple of mccomb up to me when I first meet them and they say. Do you know the prophecies over this region and I said no because I don't I am an outlier guys you have to appreciate. Nobody is really ever gotten me. Okay so I am a a high level martial artist that is a Christian so the martial artists. Don't get me because of the Christian thing and the Christians don't get me 'cause the martial arts thing I'm I'm a lawyer who is a Christian the lawyers don't get me because why are you not practicing law. Why did you go into this nonprofit thing? That's silly silly. A accumulate all the student loan debt of a law degree and not practice luff. They don't get me the The business people don't quite get me because I'm doing this. Awed Christian martial arts thing which. They don't know how to triangulate all that and nobody has really ever gotten me. I'm really an outlier. Here's what God did with that because because of that. I'm not the pastor of big church so other passers are not threatened by me. Business owners can appreciate Christian business owners can appreciate create my success which is uniquely. Something God is done here. So the Lord used me an outlier Christian karate guy to you bring all this together. Isn't it just like him to us the week things of the world. And that's what he's done so I can't take credit for this. I can just say I've been audience. And so they say. Have you heard the prophecies over this region. I say no they say Oh yes some of these date back more than four hundred years ears but the foundation of the nation. I laugh as I say this because yes in sixteen o six. The first English sellers come over here they float across the Atlantic. They get off the ship. Take a long boat and land on First First Landing State Park in Virginia beach before they go to before they go down the James River to Jamestown and the clergyman. His name's Robert Hunt gets off. The boat goes up on shore. Dedicates this land to the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he says that the fire would begin here in Virginia beach on this land in corporate beach. Each called a Virginia right after the Queen but the fire would burn from this spot on the beach and that the Gospel would go forth across this nation. Then he takes a a a mask off. The ship. Fashions cuts in half fashions it into the shape of a cross and plants that on the beach. Right they're taking a mass down like pulling some Pistons out of your or engine. You're not going home easily. So there's a commitment level right. Say Tell me this story they also tell me stories of the Bishop John Jiminez who prophesied aside over this region at the four hundred anniversary of that in two thousand seven prophesized that there will be a nationwide revival. That would start from Virginia Beach. It will burn up the east coast down the east coast and all the way across to the West the way the Jesus Movement went west to east in the nineteen sixties Steve. This would go east to west. I got more I can keep going. People are saying. They're coming to me and they're having. I had a dream. I had a dream of a bomb went often Virginia beach. I'm thinking that's not good. He says oh now it was a bomb of the Holy Spirit and it burned up and down the east coast and all all the way to the west coast and there were like golden bullets and missiles going out from Virginia Beach. I say okay. What do you think that means? He says we're a military tarrytown. This is where the military power and might of America is the Lord is going to use this place not to have missiles and bombs of man but to have the missiles goals and bombs of the Holy Spirit in the power. Jesus Christ is going to go out from Virginia Beach. I say okay. Do you want to be a co-sponsor. He says yes. And we have seventy five of those. It's amazing yes it's been an amazing adventure on my end as well just to be a part as wild ride. We are currently only meeting our board meetings. I believe are very prophetic. We've seen signs and wonders. In Ealing's and miracles prophetic words words knowledge take place in the meetings themselves selves or even in the home meetings where we worship God having got encounters making prey into this power and Love Virginia Beach. But where we're meeting for the boardrooms every other week. It's Dominion Tower. Now I'm not always the guy who sees signs and wonders in everything or you know that. Stop sign means something to me that kind of thing. But Dominion Tower God has given US Dominion to walk his sons and daughters of the king across the face severe. The Earth is groaning the manifestations of the citizens of God and walking in The Dominion Authority of the Holy Spirit. So we're meeting at Dominion Tower. Our so that's one prophet assemble and then one day Jimmy. Who's WHO's on the team the courtroom? He mentioned that. We're near the nautical Mile Marker Zero hero the Nautical Mile Marker Zero for the whole east coast that goes who north and south just blocks away from that. If if we could see it from the window window you could look down and see the marker like years the Zero Mart Jimmy. You're right. Jimmy's a lifelong sailor. He knows the stuff. I don't know that stuff but yeah he points down from the board room one of our first couple meetings. He's like you see that marker down there that's Mile Marker Zero. He tells us the story and words is praying into this revival Breen into the prophecies were praying into history. were re digging the wells. If you will and seeing God move and power so would would you mind. Describing maybe just an encounter in that boardroom. Yeah well all of our boardroom meetings. That's miraculous in itself. Because we got a free boardroom. Basically at our convenience whenever we want in one of the most prestigious buildings in downtown Norfolk overlooking the river. It's a beautiful facility facility. They're like yeah. Come on in you can have it. How much people normally rent out for? I don't know but for us. We get carte blanche whenever we want. Thank you Jesus. That's a miracle right then. Of course we're overlooking that spot. What's really exciting is member said in the beginning of this that when you're just walking in your identity the Lord actually brings people to you you don't have to strive you don't have to strain in fact the word says that we're not supposed to strive for any growing supposed to strive for one thing we're supposed to strive to enter his wrist? That's the only thing was to strive for which is amazing. Strive behind interest. So we don't have to go stir it up and make it happen when we're walking in our identity connected to the Lord. He brings people to us and there have been several the people that had just come to the board room and they have said like just Friday a woman came in she said. My mother has severe neuropathy. That's a tingling loss of feeling in her feet she has diabetes She has a lot of negatives with that. A lot of pain discomfort. She wants go on this trip and she's afraid she's not able to go. She can't walk. Could you pray for my mom of course so we stop our board meeting. We sit the lady down in a chair all five or six of us. We all pray over. We take turns command the body to be healed command Robbie to leave command new nerves. Whatever whatever comes to mind on the authority of Jesus Christ and by the time we left you know if she was at a ten in her discomfort by the time we left it went from ten to a six to a five so it's slowly going away and we always say to her? He don't be nice to us. Be really honest. This is not about us about Jesus and she says now I really. It's about half of what it used to be. That was just on Friday a week ago so and we have testimonies of other other people I I think we had a woman who had a blood disorder that was healed in the building. We didn't pray for her angelic visitations. They were saying macy's this is new to me. People know that we're praying for the place and they know the atmosphere has changed and we know that does the atmosphere of heaven. Yeah there was a we had a team meeting and we actually had some folks in town from lifestyle Christianity some of the leadership and one of their kind of Just the guy a guy that has ministered with them before he came into town to be part of it that that weekend he ended up praying for one of the staff there at Dominion Tower. Who He got a word of knowledge for him that his hip hurt and the guys says yes in fact my hip and my back hurts This guy's name was Adam and Adam says you know. Sometimes that's because is you have one leg. It's a little shorter than the other. It's not uncommon. We're not symmetrical but if you do one like a little shorter it's just going to work out. You have been your knee and your back and all that can I I check so Adam sits this man how the man was a Catholic. He was weirded out but he went with it and atom sits down pushes his hips way. Back in a a chair holds his feet in his hands and his palms and notices that his ankle bones. Don't light up. They are off by three quarters of an inch or so and he says yes. SC right ear your one legs little shore than the other. I just kind of watched this. I was kind of doing business. And you don't WanNa make it weird have have more people jump in but you know I was watching this Adam. Praise for the man. His leg grows outright there before our eyes his ankle bones lineup. His his leg is not. We watched it. His pain goes away in his hip right there and the amazing thing on that is we got some follow up a couple days later because our man Jimmy who works there knows these people and after the leg grows out Adam praise for this man Adam says is there anybody buddy else in your family that needs prayer. He says yeah. My brother does so Adam praise for his brother WHO's not obviously not even there Apparently this man in has some form of cancer or some blood. Problem or pancreas apparently We get a testimony day or two later..

"And sign up for our email list stay up to date on fire born ministries God I'm here with my friend Michael John Michael and I met at Regent University in the Fivefold Ministry gifts and so I'm excited to introduce you to Michael John Plan you're a lover of Jesus that's probably I you're married the way that I will put it is the first thing is that I am the son of the most high so I it compartmentalize each of these things I'm gonNA fail 'cause it's a check in the fail if I compartmentalize but if I see that all from the perspective of Aerob- to influence to to steward my children the next in the marketplace it is from my perspective I do believe it's the greatest not at home it's not with their spouse it's the workplace so again I stopped now to hear the father's voice to to I had the Holy Spirit speak to me and I to my kids second to my wife in auto I'm Rupe Panty Eh and I will tell you jared the most exhaustive day what is this it was that overwhelming presence of the law because I I think you have mentioned a good point which is with pensions repentance is key back to the one question that we asked you know hosting his presence also implies is not just a remind us what Jesus taught but also impeach ought to obey his commands not just to be taught because teaching I'll say to this morning I may have heard many Simmons teachings come teachings Oh you haven't done anything what Jesus said you have just listened to another to to to obey his commandments to do what he has asked us to do we shows reveals where we have lost his piece we have to go back that's awesome will I appreciate you talking about that you're currently mentoring hiring look like to you you know I don't think there's anything new on the psalm unfortunately we are living in a generation where fought in a fatherless medical review of fatherless-ness it's it's prevalent off the fact that Jesus constantly but in that he also constantly talks about he's constantly talking about the father the one who the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all if we do not know what Hud got the Father Speak d what does that look like what is that love Wade goes back to fathering the next generation is well I love that you're pointing them to their real father and you're trying praying with people and be like hey you wanna spend time in prayer we're just a teenage interns and when I was a youth pastor and we would prey an hour a day that two people who come in who are fatherless spiritually one of we'll find their identity the one did you said second is that they would know the influence in thing it's it's knowing how you are alight midst the darkness the law place June so that the influence and the third one is your impact will do being a daughter here on heaven how you become a conduit he is key added I'll tell you this is the most misperceived uses there's a reason why he split his achieve cornerstone who is Jesus but if you do not have an apostle or I personally do not believe that they have the the mantle to call out the uh-huh ask them coup which apostle which prophetic grace or gift so the father in your life you know the gift of the son do you know the gifts of the Holy Spirit who I always someone who is telling you to go deeper who's telling you reflection of a family and that is the greatest on so where does fathering a US over the decades over the centuries of trinity is all about but if the son and the Holy Spirit is a perfect reflection of trinity out of your what Jesus gave the body of Christ if we do not know how to talk about due to bring back to that one thing about identity influence and impact innocuous you do not have that family when you do not have people walking alongside you the judge and in a conversation recently I asked you I said is it friend people is in my father's houses no often that is the truth in my father's house ground I only see them as the son daughter of the most I right but is it enough the church's enough I mean we got the revelation but no that is not the case we have the restore through Jesus will what are the tools modeling is one of them you missed the point you have been placed in a judge where gifts gifts can they call out what how he has placed kidney can eat can picture of what it needs to be would it means to be a conduit thing them the precious gift of the Holy Spirit and acts one verse eight Jesus said You ask your.

"The one did you said second is that they would know the influence in your identity of who you are in Christ Rubio back to the father empowered by the Holy Spirit. You need to know what your influence looks like. So that is the second in thing. It's it's knowing how you are alight. Midst the darkness around you are. As Jesus commissioned the disciples he said you are lamps than among the wolves. Where you need to know where your place that wear has law place Jensen influence and the third one is your impact will do? Do you know how to gauge the food. Because if you do not know how to how to measure the tangible food in your life where you missed a key point of being a daughter here on heaven how you become a conduit for Heaven To invade earth in within the church. How how do we do that? Model is that we walk alongside. An identity is key added. I'll tell you this is the most misperceived seve misconstruction one of the reasons why I believe in the fivefold. Is this way we said. Thank God that does no one person who's like cheeses uses. There's a reason why he split his mantle into five gifts for the body the apostles prophets. Let's have they are the the the building blocks of the foundations for the chief cornerstone. Who is Jesus but if you do not have an apostle prophet prophet within the house you do not know how to navigate someone a pastor or a teacher on Vangelis for that matter do not have i? I personally do not believe that they have The the mantle to call out the identity of somewhat the same thing with someone who's called into a fivefold ministry of Apostolic Dahlie. Go to prophetic. How do you know you're called into an apostolic prophetic? I often ask them coup. Which Apostle which prophetic grace or gift within the larger body of Christ affirmed what Jesus has has called you into what it comes back to that identity gifts? Do you know the gifts so the father in your life. You know the gifts of the son. Do you know the gifts of the Holy Spirit who is walking alongside prophecies. Parking lot prophecies is that is it who who who is that witness alongside you as you prophesy over someone who is telling you to go deeper. Who's telling you who's walking alongside June correcting you even in that nowhere in scripture? Do we see this one man show. We're constantly shown a a reflection of a family and that is the greatest honor so where does fathering stone. It starts with US recognizing I as to who would Jesus what is is a triune. God looked like I think We have complicated over the US over. The decades of the centuries of trinity is all about but if as the trinity is complex. Enough for us not to talk about in the judge. We are missing a key point. We do not know what family looks like the father the son and the Holy Spirit is a perfect reflection of trinity in one. God if you do not know that then we do not know how to review view. What the scriptures talk about if you do not know what the scriptures talk about we do not know how to reveal what Jesus gave the body of Christ if we do not know how to talk about vowed when Jesus gave to the body of Christ we did not know how to point to the identities? So it's a constant failure on different ends To due to bring back to that one thing about identity influence and impact knock as at least at the gathering. Modeling is key. Modeling is risky at night. I feel like we do not have fathering when you do not have that family walk when you do not have people walking alongside you. It happens is you do not know how to move into the next row. It is not you know. I have a mental health counselor in our in our the judge and in a conversation recently I asked You I said is it front. Yes the father can move you. He is the Great Father Officer in my in a statement that I have that I'm oftentimes tell people is in my father's houses no orphan. That is the truth in my father's house there's Norfolk right and so when you see it from that perspective but everyone when respective of their faith the religious background their racial background crowned I only see them as the son daughter of the most I right but is it enough that we just received a revelation of who we are. Is that enough enough because if that is all enough then hey the churches enough. I mean we got the revelation but no that is not the case we hammer Alma revelation. But we need to have the tools what is missing as a result of not having a father in the natural round what has the father the restore through. Jesus will what are the tools monitoring is one of them. Mentally is one of them said in that context I I do not even believe that age plays a huge role because then you miss the point. You have been placed in a judge where gifts gifts have been given postles profits eventual shepherds and teaches irrespective of their age. Can they walk alongside you. Can they call out your gifts gifts. Can they call out. What how he has placed kidney can eat? Can they walk alongside you ensure you where you might be missing something in that when you have a revelation of the father and through the grace you have. It's a wholesome picture of what it needs to be. Would it mean to be a conduit Sunan done of the most high for Hammond doing right. Before Jesus ascended into heaven. He gave his disciples the Great Commission promising thing them the precious gift of the Holy Spirit and acts one verse eight. Jesus.

"Hope you enjoy today's podcast. This is adventures in God. I'm here with my friend. Michael John Michael and I met at Regent University in Leadership Class. And we've been spending time together. And he has these amazing true stories. Stories of adventures in God people's lives changed and transformed. He's walking in the fivefold ministry gifts and so I'm excited to introduce you to Michael John on my friends Michael. It's a pleasure to have you get to be It's my pleasure. You're launching a church the gathering place your marketplace Chap Plan. You're a lover of Jesus. That's probably I you're married. You've got amazing kids growing up so your dad husband all kinds of different hats. How do you balance it all? I think the way that I will put it is the first thing is that I am the son of the most high so I stop the day knowing that he is called me for a purpose today. I you know one of the things that I was talking to a friend of mine. The other day is how if I it compartmentalize each of these things. I'M GONNA fail. 'cause it's it's a check in the box you know my prioritizing being a good husband and my prioritizing being a good data Adami prioritizing being a good pastor the church you know it's it's it's inevitably going to fail if I compartmentalize but if I see that all from the perspective of the Sun Call and perfected through his son. Jesus I think my perspective shifts my priority management ships. I'm looking at it from the perspective of I have aerob- to influence To to steward my children the next generation would be the greatest honor that you and I have A. We ought stewarding leading the next generation. And what is the generation after that is going to look like in the marketplace. It is from my perspective. I do believe it's the greatest commissions field that is where most number of people flock on a given day. That's where most number of people spend the most number of hours. It's not not at home. It's not with their spouse. It's the workplace so again. I stopped that day. I think with the perspective of Lord. What do you have in store? I have woken. I'm I'm awake. I'm alive would you have in store for today and I think it's humbling now to hear the father's voice To to heal the spirit the holy spirit direct back to Jesus and say we have a mission today. Koliba with him. I love that. So you're Stewart in the presence of God in your your home and how do you steward the presence of God with your family with your kids by Host his presence. I host his presence. I am but not someone who is a big fan of visitation. You know cum laude come. Have your way we'll goodbye. Check it off down I of habitation. Should you know host his presence at the same resurrection. Power lives in me. When you wake up? You have different ways. I mean the day could start off in my case avenue more at two. Am Three Am She wakes me up not so much in the last week. Praise God. She's been sleeping being ten hours but on a given busy day at think when I wake Cobb needs to start at the bed. The recognizing that have been given amount day so yes I host the presence. At home I failed constantly on that. What I realized is is something that you and I have a bill? Johnson speak about which is the truth. That is if the piece that we carry the piece that you've been given day when we start off day we feel like we're not carrying that piece. Yes we have lost it somewhere so go ask them on holding split. Where did I lose my piece? Because if I if I don't care his piece everything for thing falls from them so I feel like you know starting at home. I'm hosting his presence at home hosting his presence at the gas station hosting things presence at my first meeting going forward to the weekend when we have a challenge would constantly hosting presence so when you lose the peace momentarily. Maybe it's ten minutes. Maybe it's an hour or so. How do you go back to that piece? I for me if I lose that piece I start start asking questions be like Jesus was at that I messed up. When was it that losses piece? was there something that you told me that I didn't do whether it was. Give that person a dollar or by that person's coffee when was it. I'm sorry and then I get. I regain that piece after asking them to cleanse me and forgive me and I'll go back to that what he told me and I'll do it to the best my ability. Yeah how do you regain that piece. That's a Great Question Jab at thank you know reminded of what happened a few days ago. Just was a an exhaustive day. I started the day just being a little short tempered with the kids kids and so on. We have church later that afternoon in I realize throughout the process I was just being a little. You know I wasn't that I was a little off and it so happened that while I was preaching the sermon I had the Holy Spirit speak to me and and I'm confessing to the cloud of witnesses right now. I'm confessing to the body of Christ. Now that I have sinned I to my kids second to my wife in auto I'm Rupe panty and then I found myself asking forgiveness for my kids before the end of the day. I saw myself asking my wife forgiveness by the end of the day. And I will tell you. Jared the most exhaustive day today but I found myself wired full of energy. By the time I hit the bed to the why couldn't sleep on like my law. What what is this? It was that overwhelming presence of the law because I realized myself to Hawaii m the day should have started that way for for whatever reason I allowed myself to lose my piece. I think you have mentioned a good point which is with pensions repentance. As key so yes the Holy Spirit brings about but if you did not repent you do not know how do we align and I think it goes back back to the one question that we asked you know hosting his presence also implies that we are obedient to the split is saying which is the Holy Spirit is one of the many responsibilities of the Holy Spirit of the functions of the good is not just to remind us what Jesus taught but also the teach teach but in that teaching I think it goes back to Matthew Twenty eight if you're reminded and you're reminded of the teachings of Jesus Christ the Great Commission says the taught ought to obey his commands not just to be taught because teaching implies that you'd here and it goes off the years I mean you hear teachings on a constant basis You know we're listening to doing podcast right now. I will say this morning. I may have heard many Simmons teachings come teachings teachings go but if you do not obey what he has taught which touch with repentance which starts asking forgiveness when Oh you haven't done anything what Jesus said you have just listened to another concept idea philosophy. Yes his would is life and spirit yes. His word is living and active. But if you do not put an effort to to to obey his commandments to do what he has asked us to do. We we will fail. Sean succumbing back to your question about how do what do we do when you have lost your piece. I think yes the greatest places. Once he reminds us shows shows US reveals where we lost his piece. We have to go back and we have to take that but not in process of taking that it it has has has repentance in it. It has asking forgiveness awesome. Will I appreciate you talking about that. You're currently mentoring in people with a church with marketplace chaplains in your home obviously so when it comes to fathering people what is spiritual fathering hiring look like to you you know. I don't think there's anything new on the Psalm key has created a world for in the natural round Now we have a lot that we can. We can reproduce in the spiritual as well. Unfortunately we all living in a generation where fatherless godless generation. I mean whether it be in psychology today where they'd be the latest study from Harvard. I think it was the other day that I report. I read overboard from a medical review of fatherless-ness. It's it's prevalent It's it's a fatherless generation. In often times we ask the question. How do we follow in a fatherless generation? And I'm reminded of the fact that Jesus constantly in the Gospels Yes we see his miracles. Yes we see the parables. He is the kingdom in amidst in talks about the kingdom yet to come but in that he also constantly talks about Revealing the father he cannot do would. He hasn't seen the father do he. He doesn't say would he hasn't heard the father say would in that. He's constantly talking about the father. The one who You know I'm reminded of Paul the Great Paul who said Apostle Paul who said the love of the father Through the grace of Jesus in the the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all if we do not know what the father speaks to us about you. A wonderfully in fearfully made in might image. I don't think in I oftentimes asked the question. Have you hud got the father. Speak d what does that look like. What is that love? I love compensation looks like all what does that baptism of love look like. I'm curious I WANNA hear with. The father spoke to you when it goes back to fathering. The next generation is well. The question starts with that. That is my first question often times wade it has. The father's open to you about would is the hot conversations. I love that you're pointing them to their real father. And you're trying. Appoint them to their identity as son or daughter of the king ear pointing them to intimacy. Yes first and foremost you know for me. I love praying with people and be like. Hey you wanna spend time in prayer. We're just GONNA spend time so keen with with Jesus we're going to spend time talking to him. Worshipping in him receiving from him and then after an hour or so teenage interns and when I was a youth pastor and we would prey an hour day soaking praising even intercessory prayer. Just doing those things before we even started curriculum. So for you and your church. How are you currently modeling that two people who come in? Who are fatherless spiritually? One of the things that we talk about at least within the gathering. Is that anyone who walks then needs to have three key things. Taking cal one is that they will find their identity..

"For our email list to stay up to date on fire born God has gifted me with dream interpretation for his glory because it's all about him it's not about me it's all about him remember that when Daniel was interpreting dreams he said it's interprets God interpreters so these infantrymen would come to me with these dreams and God use me to interpret them and I'd give them homework tell him to come to Jesus the scripture but anyway several years later I'm out of the Marine Corps and I couldn't sleep I couldn't sleep but it wasn't like one of those bad I couldn't sleep it was the Holy Spirit News how many of us are writers in here anybody invite right you understand the Holy Spirit Muse just you start stirring within you unicycle okay I got this idea it's time for me to write and then the anointing falls on you and then you go into your closet go to the computer and you right until the the anointing lifts that's what happened that night so I sent that article to a small magazine of the association apart of they published it three months later we get a phone call that charisma wants to publish it and the rest is history within weekday they asked me to start writing for that that's incredible their website has over five million hits a month which is incredible for you know their emails from Africa and India and stuff like that which is which is awesome and I away writing I am a CO author a book so I don't want to sell you guys anything but please go to Amazon Dot Com and check out Veronica's here I'm in it's called Veronica's hero is thirteen rating for a book because it is about the supernatural is about what God did in and through young lady who we had personal contact with who lost her husband and Afghanistan but it's all about what God did in her and threw her and then my lovely bride were shell she's got a song I tunes ninety nine cents just research Rachelle Ascii for ninety nine cents you will listen to her song my way of hope we're hoping to get her get an EP out sometime soon in the not too distant future we're excited for what God has but please I apologize I do have a cold. We ended up stranded in Europe this over the Christmas holiday we the Paris we we went to Germany so I flew space a so space say it's space available and so that doesn't the means you'll get their means you might not get back time you want so we're stuck in Germany for about six days so I'm glad I was in Paris and Amsterdam but then for Christmas but then years rolled around I'm watching TV in a hotel room in Germany my family not knowing if we're going to be on a plane to get home so then January first all of a sudden miraculously a couple of birds show up who jumped on this flight come home we're all jetlagged but we made a home Ayman we're excited for twenty seventeen in the Europe dusty we're excited to be here with you and there is progress here in this House I was here I think a month and a half ago and what you see over here as wizards in the back that is progress and that's exciting so it's exciting what God is doing as he's grading and updating this house for his glory so how many guys are hungry for the word of God we're here to power surge we believe in revival I believe in not just revival and I don't want I don't want to offend anybody here but sometimes we pray for viable a little too much okay so let me pierce some of this stuff right now we pray for revival the people who need to get saved or those who need to be five revival is for the church but a weakening for the world awakening is a transfer nation of society and that is what we need we've seen the first awakening the second grade awakening we need another awakening and this is the year of destiny for an awakening for level for the loss in awakening for society there are teachings about the seven spheres of society the mountains the seven since politics religion you know there are a number of things that we need Christians to go into to Transform Society revivals awesome Okay I've been in the Holy Ghost goosebumps before I've been a part of the Todd Bentley meetings in Vineyard Church and you know I've been a part of Amazing moves of God I was I was talking to a lovely lady over here at the DC with five hundred thousand people praying and fasting in the year two thousand and all the big name people were there we I took my family together twenty sixteen this last July about three hundred and fifty thousand people were there before it down because of the Heat K. three hundred fifty thousand people praying for a national reset. Okay that's exciting it's awesome B B all of that but I am here for an awakening of God i WanNa see Jesus high lifted up through all of it K- and I want him alone to get the Credit Himalayan to get the glory I mean there are some great churches here there are some great churches around the world but some of them are took around a personality when they should be centered around the person of Jesus C C I might have a twitter account and I might have a following but honestly I wanNA point all those people to follow cheeses because it's not about me it's all about him it's all about his glory and his fame his destined for each and every one of us the scripture says Raider things than these will you do in my name Reiter things can we even fathom that God became flesh we just celebrated that the incarnation his birth recently can we truly fathom God who became flesh can say greater things in these what I'm doing will you do a my name for my glory and it's because of a wonderful Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit was limited and the old estimate the Holy Spirit would come and go kay he might fill someone temporarily for a moment but when Jesus died on a cross arose from the dead then the Holy Spirit is poured on the day of Pentecost we all now have the Holy Spirit we all all now have the transforming power of God in us and through us not just for revival before awakening and greater things than these we do in his name greater things and what are some of these great things Jesus healed the sick cleanse the leper raise the dead cast out demons greater things I've got some that's the money I want to share about some of the things that we've seen I'm a firm believer in the power of the wonderful Holy Spirit Holy Spirit is you're not a force he's not a wind he's not an energy he is a person he has emotions I can commune with him I could dialogue with the market fellowship with him the Holy Spirit if we start dialoguing with the Holy Spirit see how he changes conversation he shifts the focus off of him onto Jesus I encourage you to do that tonight go home in your per closet whether you're driving down the road however is that you spend time with God start dialoguing directly to the Holy Spirit and see how changes the conversation puts your sections in your emotions on Jesus himself I mean greater things in these will you do in my name House on a missionary trip to Honduras several years ago and again I was a youth pastor for Great Church Great Youth Ministry awesome team and we took these young people on this in trip to Honduras and we're to minister to the poorest of the poor so we're going in these what we call the villages and giving out food to the hungry we're getting close to those are lacking so much poverty is pretty rampant in this this part of hunters that we're at but we all had we had thirty bags of food thirty bags of food and we go from house to house preaching the Gospel sharing the love of Jesus given them the food the put the bags down share the gospel with them it the bags up and move onto the next house we've hit twenty houses and we still got thirty bags of food that's amazing we eventually ended up evangelizing the entire village I don't even know how many houses but we still had thirty bags of food leftover in the back of the man we had two toss the stuff out as we're driving down the road to give it away because of God's multiplication of what Jesus was doing in that area is amazing we saw about fifteen thousand people come to the Crusades because everything culminated in Chris abor signs and wonders and greater things in Jesus name were taken race right before Jesus ascended into heaven he gave his disciples the great commission promising them the precious gift the Holy Spirit in acts one verse eight Jesus said You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be witnesses and Jerusalem Judea Samaria and to the ends of the earth with the Holy Spirit as your you that I'm going there to prepare place for you and if I go and prepare a place for you I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am you know the way to the place where I'm going doubting Thomas he said Lord we don't know where you're going so how can we know the way Jesus answered I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me if if you really know me you know my father as well from now on you do know him and have seen him Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven see there's an inclusion of Gospel and then there's the exclusion everybody can be included everybody can be given the love of Jesus but exclusively he is the only way.
