"Owner of a makeup artistry school here in Las Vegas, Nevada. And now in Dallas is well, I am 49 years old and my mom, But my passion is makeup, artistry, makeup, education, and I've been in this industry for over almost 30 years Now, I started the institute in 2010. You know, my background is makeup artistry, and I've always loved makeup. But I think along the road when I had been to make up for several years, I had realized that being in Las Vegas that there was a need for education for myself. It was really hard to travel to other states to receive education. And since I was actually raised heroes morning, Cuba but raised here in Las Vegas on Dad have always lived here. I just thought it would be a great time. Tonto. Go ahead and try and open up a school or something that would help others get some form of education here in Las Vegas, so the courses that we offer here we actually offer programs And so the students that we look for our students that, um, have come to the realization that they have a passion and they want a career path in makeup, artistry and Soto actually attend our school. You do have to have a high school diploma, or G D and you do have to apply to be accepted into the school and so the programs that we do offer here Our 10 month programs and the programs offer starting from makeup, artistry, body painting of special effects and hair styling class, So it's It's a full program, but we feel like in order for somebody be really successful in the field of makeup artistry. It's important that they're trained in all areas. Our current space here in Las Vegas is 11,000 Square feet, and we have to beauty rooms and airbrush room and a special effects room. So we're able to start to programs at a time and at any given time, you know, we could have anywhere from 20 to 40 students at a time. So, yeah, I mean, our our school is very, very hands on and we have currently instructors here in Las Vegas. We have six instructors are rule of thumb is for every 12.

Tommy Padula, DarkZero Esport's New Head of Partnerships, On Connecting Entertainment, Sports and Esports

"As you age. Talk about d z as a 1 e sport organization. That's a little bit unique in the E Sports World. You're going to see most teams have a few different squads under their roster, but these like off going to focus entirely on Rainbow Six and we're going to become the top-ranked rainbow 16 in North America and it's a A strategy that's worked out pretty well for them. At least thus far but from a partnership perspective. How does that change your role? When you compete in one team when you're entirely tied to the Rainbow Six brand to Ubisoft, you know as would you're searching out Partnerships. How does that affect it as you just have the one team to base everything around? Yeah. First of all great. Great question. Of course, I'm in my I'm in my first few weeks. I'm still absorbing. I think it's important to note that you know, I'm still taking everything in understanding where we're positioned. Um, I'm not really getting to know the big players at different pedigrees and different tiers within Esports. And I'm under you know, I'm fully aware of our Boutique organization right now. And and how do we position that but I think this is what's really important. Is that right now, we're we're going to start laying the foundation for doing sponsorship and and Partnerships in Esports correctly and in a way that brands are used to and an Innovative way, but also in a way that brings your used to change that as we enter new scenes cuz we we absolutely are going to enter new scenes and and evaluate a quiz like, you know, acquiring and and I believe I believe Thursday for like starting those relationships now with branch that we can have founding partners that build with us so that we could actually integrate them from day one not try to build something and then see who fits into wage rather build something in lockstep with some of these Brands and and find some core founding Partners as we enter new scenes will enter together. They'll be a part of those conversations and and this way they're dead we put ourselves in a position to work in in a way that's more collaborative more integrated than we've ever seen in any sports or even in traditional Sports in the past. So that's what I'm excited to do with easy. It's a great answer. There's some really dead. Eat figs you could do a t Sports as it develops of as it grows. That is a little bit different than the traditional. Okay. I'm going to look for a sponsorship like you might see with you know, the New York Knicks. It's like okay, we could find some unique sponsorships, but generally people know what they're getting into it the mix and with dark0 you have a little bit more ability to be flexible to grow together with that being said wage based in Las Vegas, Nevada. I know that dark0 cares a lot about being part of this community being part of this even though e Sports is a global phenomenon Las Vegas is one of the most unique cities in all of America. You've got Major Brands like MGM Resorts that you worked for major sports books Global Entertainment Properties, massive events concerts sporting events. What are some of the opportunities you're looking for specifically in Vegas to help tie dark0 to the city. Love it. Yeah, you got some good ones here so long Las Vegas is the global Capital Sports entertainment people from all over the world know that if you want to have a good time get entertained push the envelope and be wowed Las Vegas is the place for that Esports is a global Sports entertainment platform that people all of our all around the world participate in in in global Brands participate. And and so I thought what what better place to stay up the flag in Esports it's and bring teams organizations. Leagues and brands from all over the the industry and all over the world to Los Vegas to participate in some, you know Monumental like, you know staple events yearly annually where we partner with some of the biggest venues in a midsummer when you see on the ship whether that's hyperx Arena whether that's the new Resorts World Casino, that's that's being built here across from the win MGM Resorts, of course where I come from the many properties there. I was off work closely with a lot of that that team there to start looking into Esports and how we were going to collaborate with with different organizations input on some of that. So I think putting together some amazing events where we invite some big teams and big organizations to compete on the Strip under the lights with some fans with some crowds attracts people from all over. I think that's one of the wage Equals like we really cool here a really cool to accomplish here. And I think that it starts with those relationships on the strip and they're in our backyard. So I'm looking forward to starting this conversations. Definitely you obviously have some connections to some of those properties as well as will be a really cool to see how you can tie that in Vegas and Esports of sort of danced around each other for quite a long time. There's been some some events held you have the Allied e Sports Arena like you measure the hyperx Esports Arena, which is this massive building on the Strip, but I feel like we haven't seen the complete dive in of the city to e-sports in a way that's going to really show the the events that are going to be know for for a long time. I guess Evo's here for a long time. But that was the flagship Vegas Esports of it, but it really feels like there is a big opportunity for Vegas to be the Ford Theatre. It's been on so many other things and bringing Sports into the fold and creates a really unique sports events. That really wouldn't be possible anywhere else. I couldn't agree more and I think that listen these things take time. Sometimes it's educating the different properties educating educating folks, but I think that you know, God Mention Evo in this other events that we could start to mold off of but there if we'd be we'd be crazy to say that there are Monster, you know Monumental a huge sports events that people will look back on for years that are not going to that aren't going to occur right here in Las Vegas.

Trump's election legal strategy

"Race slips further away from President Trump and key battleground states, he's made it clear that he's not planning on conceding yet in a tweet, the president said Joe Biden should not wrongfully claimed the office of the president. I could make that claim. Also, legal proceedings are just now beginning. Trump team is challenging vote counts in the key states of Wisconsin, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Michigan. What are his justifications for doing so? And will he be successful? Jennifer Jennifer Curren's is a Republican strategist and former assistant secretary of state in California. So I asked her who has won the election in her opinion. That remains to be seen. Donald Trump had won. Florida, Ohio, Texas looked like he was winning Georgia, North Carolina and had been listed by all TV networks as leaning red in Pennsylvania. And then suddenly you wake up in the morning after and you find out that some of this had flipped over night. We have seen some anomalies here in the states. Just in the last 24 hours. You have nearly 4000 people in the critical state of Nevada described and listed on devoted roles as dead as having voted. So who won? I don't think we'll know until probably early December much in the way that we did not know who won the 2000 election until December. 12 of 2020, I think will be about that same time period. I mean, there has been a history of votes being Challenge. We already are heading to a recount in Georgia. We know that Donald Trump has launched several lawsuits. Do you feel that the Trump team is really not getting the legal do they deserve? I think it's a process that needs to be worked through. And in fact, I've been telling folks who've been calling me all day today in the last few days. That this is going to be like a game of tug of war. I don't know if you have that overseas, but one day you win a little. Then the next day, you have to give a little. Then the next day, you win again. And then next day, you have a setback. And I think we're going to go through that frustrating process as Republicans over the next several days, perhaps even the next 234 weeks, But I do think that the Trump legal team was prepared for this and I can tell you why I was with a Top member of Mayor Rudy Giuliani team on Sunday, and he said he was not returning to New York City that he was actually going straight to the White House and that they had told him he would not be going home again until December. 19th so that tells me even before the polls closed on Tuesday, the Trump campaign was expecting. That this might be an issue that the ballot security might be an issue in this country, and they're prepared for that. If there's a challenge here to be done, Mayor Rudy Giuliani is on top of it, as are the 1200 lawyers. Now that air out on behalf of the Trump team, Jennifer, do you accept that there are some allegations that have been swirling around social media that have now been debunked? For example, the idea of ballot stuffing there was a video circulating claimed to show ballot stuffing. In Michigan. It was later shown that that video was shot in Russia. You mentioned the allegations of dead residents being allowed to vote in Nevada. Can you accept that Some of the information that is circulating has now been shown to be false? Sure it's interesting. You say that I actually asked friends of mine. I said, please stop posting on my Facebook while any video that you did not take yourself or you do not know who took it because I do think that a I is a problem. You know those videos that are matched up with different audio, So I'm very skeptical myself. I've been a fact checker at Fox News for presidential debate. So my standard is probably as high as yours. Is there at the BBC, But look, I also know people that I've known for 20 years. That said that they're dead. Grandmother got ballots, and they took the ballot to the polling place because they were concerned, and they saw that their dead grandmother in Las Vegas, Nevada in Clark County had actually voted in this election, and she'd been gone since seven years ago. So there are enough stories out there that I think we need to make sure that the count is accurate, and we need to make sure that every person who cast a ballot did so legally. If Joe Biden wins is shown to be the legitimate winner, do you think that Donald Trump Step down gracefully. I D'oh D'oh! Look, Donald Trump is the businessmen. He's lived his whole life. He's had losses before in his life. He's had a couple of divorces where he didn't come out the winner and those either. I think that he will and I have confidence that he will. However, I do think that Donald Trump is going to want at fair adjudication. And make sure that every legal vote that counted is counted and that votes that may have come in after that legal deadline may be seen with the most scrutiny. But I do think ultimately in the end. If he did not win, he will take his lumps and move forward.

People are calling out Cardi B for her crowded 28th birthday

"Rolled and Lady douche bag of the day. You Who's your D bag? Rtb ono Cardi B. Everybody loves cardio. You know, I hate this because you know me. I usually love Cardi B but I don't like the choices she's made this week. Oh, so she just celebrated her 28th birthday and birthday. So Cardi b, not 12. Turn down the opportunity to celebrate. Decided to invite a bunch of friends to Las Vegas. For a big birthday party. Um, slight problem. Well, well, problem. Big The term big birthday party scares me a little bit all living there in a pandemic. It's big. I don't know if you've seen pictures from this party. Look here. Yeah, I just opened it right up and tell me what you see. How about this? Yes, Bradley, you be the verbal picture teller. Can you tell our listeners who cannot look at the pictures of cardio bees? 28th birthday shindig in Las Vegas? You tell the people what you're seeing. Oh, was this like from last year? I mean, this is this year. This is her big birthday party in Las Vegas, Nevada. I see literally one person wearing him at like one person, and it's not full. Yeah, on crowd and a chin diaper. It's not actually a mask. You know what I mean? Like they're wearing it low slung. Well, this person isn't Oh, no, that person. You're right. Yes, there was another. There's another picture of somebody wearing it like a chin diaper. Auntie Chin diaper. That's it's a thing. Okay. Anyway, this is a full on party man. Nobody is social dis Nothing. Nobody's wearing a mask. Nothing. Does she literally later? Global pandemic is not going on She to my knowledge. I should double check and see if she's said anything Since these pictures. I want to know what people said on Twitter that card people that when you want to know what people's opinions are on Ah, a certain issue. Just go to Twitter. She she had this party and like, Like I said, like she crammed a bunch of people into a club in the Las Vegas Nevada area. And there was no masks. There was no social distancing there licking each other. By the way, her husband Offset who she filed for divorce from She's giving him a lap dance, okay? So me thinks that perhaps They're not. Getting a divorce. Maybe. I don't know. I don't know what they're up to. In any case. I just thought this sort of like brazen, especially given the fact Bradley do you remember early in the pandemic? Cardi B was like a voice of reason. She was like, guys. Everybody wear the mask. It's not that hard, like do this stuff because That's what we're doing. But I do know that when she filmed her her I don't know. We don't know for calling it lapper wop video. That's how old and out of that old and out of touch we are. She did you know, they kept everything on lock down like they Everybody was tested repeatedly, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. So then, looking at these pictures, I think to myself I bet that that's the excuse. I bet that they tested Everybody there. I mean, that could be because one thing we do know is that People with resource is in this moment have access toe tests that not everybody else does. And then I want everybody to sit for a second and think about how nice it would be to be able to, like, I don't know. Have a holiday with your whole family. But, yeah, it's so interesting. So I'm looking at some people are calling it out on Twitter, but it doesn't seem like there's any particular call out happening. I'd be curious what she has to say about it. I mean, and she very well may say nothing, which is also like her prerogative, right? Like She can just decide. You know, at any given time, like I don't really feel like addressing that at all. So she might just not say anything. And then again, she might. She might come out and give us every good reason why It was a okay for her to have a birthday party for herself. I do see a lot of headlines like of you. Google Cardi B Birthday party. You get a lot of Party B comes under fire from fans hosting huge party Cardi B. Slam for Pak birthday party fans or slamming Cardi B for showing off her huge something. Oh birthday party. And I do find it interesting that it looks like the photos that she published or just her. You know, not like the Oh, no. She actually posted that photo that I am Cardi B posted that photo that group photo one with all the people in there all she's on the floor. I don't understand why, but I mean Who knows? She did post a picture of the next day of her walking in a bikini, and she was like I'm walking down because I'm still drunk. So like she had a time like she definitely had a time. Just like that. I'm not comfortable with that. Not at all. You know, I don't have to be Yeah, No, everybody gets to make their choice. But then I think about all the people that were flying in and out for that and one of the person one of the persons one of the people who showed up with Kylie Jenner. We talked about this a little bit and then dirt alert. Update. But that woman Is Trying very hard to be friends of Cardi B O for sure, Right? Eso? Yes, because she she likes attention. They will have you know that she took her own private jet. To Las Vegas to go to this party, and then she and her friends got back on the jet, and they partied on her jet. Which, if that is not something that Sounds so foreign. I don't know what is Right. Like when was the last time you partied on your private jet? Bradley, zero of Ah, Any Who's he? What's he listen like? I just the thing that there's like cognitive dissonance because Party B was an early voice of You know, pay attention to the rules do the things you need to dio where a mask, she said all those things out loud, but then to see her acting. Exactly the opposite is a little bit frustrating, and I'm sure for fans And and non fans alike, Right? Yeah, I think it's you know. It's It's a different thing to say like I think it's you know, everybody is going to judge so that's totally fine. And when it comes to celebrities, we judge like nobody's business. Cove. It is a little different because everybody has like their own boundaries, And sometimes things are when you're in one place. The recommendations might be different than another. But this doesn't seem like shades of great. I mean, this just seems it's quote. It's so obvious. I just think about all the people like I don't care about the I should say I don't care. I am less concerned about the health of the people who are choosing to do this. And the people who have to work to make that party happened, like, think of all, and I do think this is I should be really careful because I don't like to get into political conversations. But she has made some political statements that would lead you to indicate she cares very much about people who are less fortunate and don't have resource is right. And I would just like to remind her that all of the people that work at the place that she threw her party probably don't have a choice to go to work. And put themselves at risk with a bunch of people not wearing masks ready. So I think that to me is a fair criticism. I think that's actually a really good point. Your right. I mean, the people who are they're working in the situation. And actually if you scroll down and look at some more of the pictures You will see guards, you know, like bodyguards that are there that are masked. You will see people who are clearly implicitly. And the problem is because I can hear some people saying Well, you know, the employees are massed in there, Baba. Did it really kind of doesn't matter when you're in a big room, right? And it looks like they're in like a big party room or something. It's the combination of masking and social distancing and hand washing. It's it's all you have to kind of aliens. All the prongs of the attack, If you like, I don't know. I feel like we've seen somewhere recently where a bunch of people were together. You know that sounds really familiar. I can't. Yeah, but yeah, but But but But we do hear these stories of people all being piled up together. And then they mask super spreader events, right? Even if you're outside and this looks like it's an indoor event, and they're all sort of Yeah. I don't know. Card E B. I'm disappointed in you. I'm sad about it because they usually love everything She does. But this was this was a miss for me. Party B.

Greg Knowles Discusses How to Build a Company with an Enduring Legacy

"Greg it's an honor to have you on the show. Welcome to dose of leadership. Thank you. It's an honor to be here. I always love talking with CEOS I talked with one for a while and I'm curious about at electrical supply. Can you just give me a quick synopsis of of what the Company does sure So we have a few different revenue streams and a few different markets that were involved with in Las Vegas Nevada, which is where we kind of got are stark We primarily deal with the switch your market there we get involved with large commercial construction projects. for example, that t mobile arena, anybody's into Las Vegas. Over the last few years they know that they know they're in a so we did all the incoming switchgear for that We do the incoming power for the LAS, Vegas Convention, Center were we're currently working on the expansion for that although it's it's on hold right now but I'm eventually they'll release that and probably the most exciting project we have in the switch during their is the square gardens. Spear. In Las Vegas Yeah. You guys. Anybody's ever seen. Pictures of that. It's it's pretty phenomenal. How does the world working on that? How does one get started in that? I mean I'm amazed by the type of businesses that are out there that are even know exist. I mean how does one get started in being the provider of that? Sure. So I started my career with. Schneider Electric which was back then called Square DIJK and They're they're the switchgear manufacturer that we now representing Las Vegas. So that was my that was my upbringing We became a square distributor in Las Vegas in two thousand eight. and. So with my knowledge of that business I just went after those types of projects and started hiring people that had expertise in those projects and then We just got a reputation for being really good at bidding and managing them, and so the contractors in town like working with us because we. Have, that kind of expertise and so as these projects come up. we bid them and because of our knowledge of of the products were able to see things on the specifications that gives us a competitive advantage, and so we we use back to to get the lowest number possible and and thankfully we were successful on those. So. It's a whole process you had it. It's years in the making yeah. We'll going to say specialization and I wouldn't even think of even existed because I just like you said, I don't have the knowledge for it, and so it's always find it fascinating. So how'd that lead? How did that? What was kind of the mindset or the process where he said you know what? I'm going to start this business in two thousand four like what what led to that. So I was a sales person for several electrical distributors well, I just going back out of the salesperson I nine electric, and then eating and then I went over to the distribution side was doing sales for that. and. Then I worked my way up to management to where I was a sales manager, and then I became vice president of sales for electrical distributor and then I. Guess it was interestingly, I had some some people that I've worked with that that I didn't think repair lead in a little bit frustrated with with with how I was treated. You know in dot you know, hey, I could start a company and and do this better and I had several people that were my employees that came to me and said, if you start your own company will come work for you. Wow and so so I decided to take the leap and thought you know it's it's Kinda now or never if I'm going to do this as well might as well go. So I, I convinced them to work for straight commissioned. Because at the time I didn't have any money to pay them as far as you know salaries and so they came on board for some pretty generous commissions and Just started growing from there. I love that will Will you entrepreneurial before that or was this kind of an awakening to your? Can of untapped entrepreneurial. I grew up the son of an accountant. Anything entrepreneurial. You know accountants Typically pretty conservative. So I I grew up not taking a lot of risks but as I started increasing my knowledge in the industry and And became more confident in my abilities I decided that if I. Was Half a successful salesperson earning my own company as I was working for somebody else. Than I could I would be just fine because I think I'd be able to manage my expenses better and and and just you know build a business. around the you know the revenue streams knew it could bring in. And so I I felt confident enough the business plan was was going to be successful and so I just took the lead.

"With us today, we have the Amazing Justin Fella Aka five, eighty five. He's Guatemalan American artists from Nevada known for his large scale sculptures that plays with American pop culture and the lat next experienced. He's the host of a couple of podcasts including the art people podcast and one of my favorite podcasts. Latinos who lunch welcomed Fathi. Welcome. Still trying to figure out technology. Technical difficulties. We're like we're right there. Thank you. Thank you for having me. I am in Las Vegas Nevada right now since. Yes in city where people don't believe that wearing masks is a big so. Crystal. Very similarly. You know we we started working at Greenpeace right around the same time and we really didn't see a lot of lat next representation in the environmental movement in these big green organizations and so we thought hey, like maybe we can just do something like that and on your show you talk about sort of the intersection between being Queer Latinas and sort of like this idea of Spangler. Inside this Anglo world out what do you think is the importance of intersection analogy was important to talk about. Oh my gosh. That's one of the. That's one of the big big missions of Lebanon's lunches that. If it's not intersectional it it's really not for for anyone really like if it's not intersect, the revolution is intersectional whom we will never be free basically you know. So from the very beginning, we've been checking ourselves on our privilege as gender males on the show, and because we recognize the all the you know the misogyny within own you know belief systems just based on how we were raised in America and I'm saying America like North South and Central America and so And then something that happened maybe like a year or two intellectuals who lunch was the recognition of the erasure of Central American culture, and also after let me move out. So we actively before people are using the term anti-racists or. Really. Intersection analogy I think I heard that a lot after the the white woman's March that happened a few years ago So but they got fizzy hatsaw haven't seen many at the black lives haven't seen many at the black lives matter protests but so wh-. Anyway, We really we really started paying attention to like oh my gosh we're really like Mexico centric on our show we need to actively be anti-black and talk about colors and talk about the erasure of offer. Let the needle on our show and we recognize that it was our own. You know that was our one of our personal goal was to really openly talk about that and have sometimes uncomfortable conversation. Let I love what you said. We can't have revolution if it's not intersectional because the sort of Traumas and the histories and experiences are compounded with each identity that include you both you know in a way that's like. Boosts Society and helps you in society also not. About yeah. especially with climate change because at the end of the day, we're all going to be affected by climate change but to what degree and how soon it really depends on where you are how much you have, how much you given, how much you're supported in society. It's funny because like recycling and incur the environment it seen this very same in or you know white people saying but it's like no dinos have been trying to take care of the environment for a very long time. We just don't talk about it in the same way you know what I mean. So I mean I also like to pretend that I'm Vegan. Just people mad because you know that's US relegated to just white people. You know I'm so like Oh. Yeah. I. Don't I don't wanna eat cows anymore because it's bad for the environment and that's like the real thing that I'm doing now that we're talking about claim it and how much Linex do people care about it maybe not in the same context that you know white people are recycling or being around this like we have our willows. Teaching on like here's the. Deal or like rub this like urban you're like sore foot and you'll wake up of. The best. Or some other iteration of that Linex people care about the environment and we quote like or reference this study that happened recently at Yale that seventy percent of people in the United States, Horley care about the environment, and so how do you see that or not see that reflected in our culture and how do you see annex values reflected in the conversation around the environment? yeah, I mean there's there's very different schools of thinking within my own family for example, but like my will lead, you know isolated people do it saying this online to we've been saving plastic bags and containers from jump? Right. That's just something that we do in our like is that sour cream in the fridge? That's probably. Some leftover beans or something. You never know you never know I'm so in little ways like that we're very resourceful as Latinos because we have to be, but also it's just part of our culture even in Latin? America. But I am example that pops up to my pops up to my head is recently visited what the my life for the first time as an adult and went back to where my mom is from this little little village called. We let the in Garland which is right in the center of a psychopath in Guatemala and so. HALF OF MY A. Family are farmers and then half of them are. are raise cattle So it's like. That's when I realized like Yo my family is responsible for like the deforestation of Quantum Allah because I'm seeing all this open land my GRANDPA has. but they don't see that way. They're like, no cows our money we're going to raise cows we're GONNA make you know we're gonna them or dairy cow. So then we'll be sold for me and so there's this acres and acres of land that my family owns that is is just it's just grass now when it used to be rich rainforest

According to The New York Times the last time that Mitch. Mcconnell was on the ballot. The vice president's stood in the Oval Office and said I hope that Mitch gets reelected so I can keep working with him. Well Mitch did get. Colds did get reelected. He did not have an epiphany instead. He blocked nearly everything that Barack Obama tried to pass. You ever use Surpreme Court seat come on from Democrats the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Thank you expulsion wills to Senator Clever Shar about seven hundred thousand people known as dreamers or Sonia this who were brought to this country to currently protected for the rotation because off program. There is now under review by the Supreme Court if the court sides with the trump administration which is eager to end this protection. What exactly is your plan to protect the dreamers permanently to win to be Donald Trump the best way to protect the dreamers is to have a new president. There are the votes there to protect the dreamers. And I have been working on this since I got to the United States Senate in my first campaign. I actually had a bunch of ads. Run against me because I was standing up for immigrants and when I think of dreamers and try to explain it to my state I found a ninety nine year old Hispanic war veteran who was a dreamer when he was brought over to this country and back then he just went to Canada for a night and came back and he was a permanent citizen because they needed him to serve in World War. Two now not so easy. That dreamers our future that dreamers are so important in Nevada and the best way we can get this done is to beat Donald Trump but it is to pass comprehensive immigration reform which creates a path to citizenship. To so many hardworking people will bring down the deficit by one hundred fifty eight billion dollars. And we'll bring peace for these dreamers. Thank you so no other country but our own rethinking going to run based on your record of voting in Washington. Then you have to own those votes especially when it comes.

He's also donated billions towards causes like climate change. Gun Safety Education. If his money wasn't a problem then why is it a problem now I? He should absolutely be doing everything in his power to defeat. Donald TRUMP. I just don't think that has to result in him. Becoming the president of the United States are party has values we were built around values like making sure we protect working people but Bloomberg opposed raising the minimum wage. Our Party has a that includes excellent presidents like Barack Obama who mayor Bloomberg opposed the end of the day. It's not just about how much money you've got. It's what you stand for. And we are living at a moment when Americans are so deeply frustrated with the way that both Wall Street and Washington seem to have overlooked are. The view from the porch of my one house in Indiana is that they can't even see us sometimes and if we're going into the election of our lives against a president who rose to power by cynically exploited the frustration of ordinary Americans. Feeling like leaders weren't speaking to them then. I think that turning to someone like Mayor Bloomberg who thinks he can buy. This election is no better way to succeed. I want to say look the idea of China China. Is There Belleville road proposal? They're taking the dirtiest coma world mostly out of Mongolia and spreading it around. The world is clear. Make it clear when you call them in. Washington and the first one hundred days. If you continue you will suffer severe consequences. Because the rest of the world will impose tariffs on everything you're selling because you are undercutting about entire economy taxes on those physical up under you not if they are small businesses. I mean what we've gotTA DO is level. The playing field where a company like Amazon Chevron is paying literally zero on billions of dollars in profits and it puts small businesses like the ones that are revitalizing. My own city often Latino owned on our west side at a disadvantage. We need to recognize that. Investing in Latino Entrepreneurship is not just an investment in the Latino community it is an investment in the future of America. And it's time for a president who understands the value of immigration in lifting up all of our communities and our country. We're getting the exact opposite message from the current president and it is time to recognize not just the diversity of the Latino community but the importance of issues like economic empowerment. Very we have an entrepreneurship gap in America. And that is a gap between white entrepreneurs and black and Latino entrepreneurs and the principal reason for this is they don't have the money for equity to get the businesses started. It's about a seven billion dollar gap. We wanted to have real entrepreneurship and a level playing field. I have a plan to put the seven billion dollars in to have the fanned fund managed by thank your routinely run out of hand just be about taxes. "Buddy here but we're going to stay on the topic on. My question is to Mayor Bloomberg Mayor Bloomberg business is heavily invested in China. I think you mentioned that a few questions. Back the number one producer in the world of carbon emissions. How far would you go to force China to reduce those emiss- emissions and tackle the climate crisis? Is You're not going to go to war with them. You have to negotiate with them and try to and we've seen how well that works with tariffs that are hurting us. Which you have to do is convince the Chinese that is in their interest as well there people going to die just as our people are going to die and we work together in all fairness the Chinese have slowed down. It's India. That doesn't even bigger problem but it is an enormous problem. Nobody's doing anything about it. We could right here in America. Make a big difference with closing the coal fired power plants if we enforced some of the rules on fracking so that they don't release methane into the air and into the water. You'll make a big difference but we're not going to get rid of fracking and we FRAC instantly. Not just national guests. You've coil as well. It is a technique and when it's done poorly like they're doing in too many places where the methane gets out into the air it is very damaging but it's a transition fuel. I think the senator said it right. We want to go to all renewables. But that's still many years from now and before I think the Senate mentioned twenty fifty for some data no scientists things the numbers for twenty fifty or twenty fifty any more than two thousand four hundred thirty five. The world is coming apart faster than any scientific study had predicted. Just something about your thoughts. Let's be real about the deadline. It's not twenty fifty thousand forty. It's not twenty. Thirty is twenty twenty because we don't elect a president who actually believes climate science. Now we will never meet any of the other scientific or policy deadlines.

"Efficiency and sustainable energy. This is a moral issue. My friends we have had to take the responsibility of making sure that the planet we leave. Our children and grandchildren is a planet. That is healthy and habitable. Data's more profits of the fossil fuel into Strana. Keep this going senator twelve. You're you're not on the same page at a total ban fracking. You Call it. A transitional fuel but scientists are sounding this alarm now. Do you take these warnings at. Maybe fracking is a step backwards. Not a step forward not a transition. I made it very clear that we have to review all of the permits. That are out there right now for natural gas and then make decisions on each one of them and then not grant new ones until we make sure that it's safe. But it is a transitional fuel and I want to add something that really hasn't been brought up by my colleagues. This is a crisis. A lot of our plans are very similar to get to carbon neutral by twenty five twenty fifty something like that but we're not going to be able to pass this unless we bring people with us. I'm looking at these incredible senators from Nevada. Catherine Cortez Masto and Jackie Rosen. And I'm thinking that they know how important this is and you can do this in a smart way. One get back into that international climate change agreement to clean power rules. Bring those back and present can do this herself without congress as well as the gas mileage standard but when it comes to putting sweep price on carbon. This is very important. We have to make sure that that money goes back directly as dividends to the people that are going to need help for paying their bills. Otherwise we're GONNA pass it so there has to be a heart the policy to get this done address the worker issue if he's lying as well compressor worker issue yes. We can have a green new deal and create jobs. We need people in infrastructure. Who will help build? We having tomorrow about those jobs are for tomorrow. Those are the ones we need to be working on harden our infrastructure right now but listen to Senator Club showers point. She says we have to think smaller. In order to get it passed. I don't think that's the right approach here. Why can't we get anything passed in Washington on climate? Everyone understands the urgency. But we've got two problems. The first is corruption and industry. That makes its money. Felt all through Washington. The first thing I wanted to in Washington is passed my anti corruption bill so that we can start making the changes we need to make on climate and the second is the filibuster if you're not willing to roll back. The filibuster giving the fossil fuel industry veto.

This is just ridiculous to America's responsibility is to be the leader in the world. And if we don't we're the ones that are going to get hurt just as much as anybody else and that's why I don't WanNa have cut off all relationships with China because you will never solve this problem without China and India Western Europe and America. That's where most of the finished one of the things I believe. And you can tell me whether this is right. But the solar array that the vice president was talking about is being closed. Because it's not economic that you can put solar panels in modern technology even more modern than that. I just want to let Senator Warren Jumping your just because you've said something that's really specific tend to Vada and the tension here in this state is between people want renewable energy and people what conservation on public lands eighty. Five percent of Nevada is managed by the federal government. You have said that you were going to have an executive order that would stop drilling on. Public Lands Stop Mining which is a huge industry. Here you gotTa have lithium copper for renewable energy. How do you do that so look? I think we should stop all new drilling and mining on public lands and all offshore drilling if we need to make exceptions because there are specific minerals that we've got to have access to that we locate those and we do it not in a way just as about the prophets of giant industries but in a way that is sustainable for the environment. We cannot continue to let our public lands be used for prophets by those who don't care about our environment and are not making it better. Look I'm going to say something. That is really controversial in Washington. But I think I'm safe to say this here in Nevada. I believe in science and I believe that the way we're going to deal with this problem is that we are going to increase by tenfold our investment in science. There's an upcoming twenty seven trillion dollar market worldwide for green and much of what is needed has not yet been invented. My proposal is let's invented here in the United States and then say we invented in the US. Sir Leicester All right behind Bloomberg at the beginning of this incoming fire on this next topic's let's get into it. Two Thousand Fifteen. This is how you describe. Your policing policy is mayor quote. We put all the cops in minority neighborhoods. And you explain. That is quote because that's where all the crime is. You went on to say and the way you should get the guns out of the kids hands and throw them against the wall and I them. You've apologized for that policy. But what does that kind of language say about how you view people of Color or people in minority neighborhoods? Well if I go back and look at my time in office the one thing that I'm really worried about embarrassed about was how it turned out with stop and Frisk when I got into office to six hundred and fifty murders a year in New York City and I thought that my first responsibility was to give people the right to live. That's the basic right of everything and we started. We adopted a policy which had been in place the policy that all police departments use of stop and Frisk what happened however was it got out of control and when we discovered I discovered that we were doing many many to many stop and frisks. We cut ninety five percent of it. How and I've sat down with a bunch of African American clergy and business people to talk about this to try to learn. I've talked to a number of kids who'd been stopped and I'm trying to trying to understand how we change our policies so we can keep the city safe because the crime rate did go from six hundred and fifty fifty percent down to three hundred and we have to keep the lid on crime but we cannot go out and stop people discriminate later. Vice President Biden of this. You want to respond to that. Let's get something straight. The reason the stop and Frisk changes because Barack Obama sent moderators to see what was going on when we sent them there to say this practice has to stop. The mayor. I'm head by eight points across the board so in terms of being able to beat Donald Trump. I'm better positioned according to your poll than anybody else. Donald trump number one number two. The mayor makes an interesting point. The mayor says that he has a great record that he's done these wonderful things while the fact that fighting the fact of matter is he has not managed his city very very well when he was there. "Trump Senator Senator Senator Club. What do you think the path is from this stage to the White House? What works I think. The Path is a high voter turnout. I'm the one on this stage. That had the highest voter turnout of any state in the country when I led the tip ticket as well as bringing in rural and suburban voters and I've done that as well and I'm the only one with the receipts to have done that in Republican congressional districts over and over again. But I want to say this. I actually welcomed Mayor Bloomberg to the stage. I thought that he shouldn't be hiding behind his TV ads. And so I was all ready for this big day and then I looked at the memo from his campaign staff this morning and it said that he actually thought that three of us should get out of the way that is what his campaign said because we should pave the way for him to become the nominee. I have been told as a woman as someone that maybe no one thought was still going to be standing up on this date but I am because of pure pure grit and because of the people out there. I've been told many times to wait my turn to step aside and I'm not going to do that now and I'm not GonNa do that because a campaign memo from Mayor Bloomberg said this morning that the only way that we get a nominee is if we step aside for him I think we need something different Than Donald. Trump. I don't think you look at Donald Trump and say we need someone richer in the White House. Mayor Bloomberg is a lot for you to respond to your opportunity. I think we have two questions to face tonight. One is who can beat Donald Trump and number two? Who can do the job if they get into the White House and I would argue that I am the candidate that can do exactly both of those things. I'm a new. I know how to take on an arrogant conman like Donald Trump. That comes from New York. I'm a mayor mayor. I know how to run a complicated city. The biggest most diverse city in this country. Fed cuts interest rates, signals it may not need to do more

"In Los Angeles. I'm Carl Rozelle Wednesday thirty one July today or as we like to call it around here the day everything changed okay not really I mean the Federal Reserve did cut interest rates today a quarter of a percentage point just like everybody had been guessing. I cut in more than ten years thirty seven hundred something days but still it's a lousy quarter point can on so again. I don't think asking about a quarter point is really the right question. Oh all right you tell me then Fed Chairman J. Paul what the right way to look at this is you have to look back over the course of the year and see the committee moving away from <hes> rate increases to neutral posture too now a rate cut K.. You see an in a Konami which is actually performing pretty well. Growth in the first half of this year is about the same as it wasn't all of eighteen and actually a little better than our our forecast for growth at the end of nineteen all right fair enough but look downsides. We also feel like weak. Global Growth and trade tensions are having effect on the U._S.. US economy well yeah but you'll know what you're doing right thing is there isn't a lot of experience in responding to global trade tensions. Oh so it it is a <hes> <hes> something that <hes> <hes> we haven't faced before and that we're learning by doing it. It is not it's not exactly the same as is watching global growth where you see growth weakening U._C.. Central banks and governments responding with fiscal policy and you see growth strengthening business cycle you had with with with trade tensions which do seem to be having significant effect on financial market conditions and on the economy they evolve in in a different way a translation here if I might the trump administration's trade policies are Sui Generis as economists like to say one of a kind and nobody is really sure what to do about bottom okay back the chair Paolo wrapping up. Thank you on heavy. Take your questions us to as it happens a lot of you emailed or tweeted at us because we asked you to you with questions about the Fed and what we all knew it was going to do today. Daniel Richards from Las Vegas Nevada spoke for many of you when he asked basically why he should care we got an economist once upon a time now a professor of economics at Hamilton College. We got her on the phone to explain the average American should care for a couple couple of reasons. The interest rates affect many different aspects of the economy that actually affect individuals directly one something that it will affect it will affect the cost of loans borrowing costs and especially mortgage rates consumer loan rates like auto loans and credit credit card loans. You should see a response in those rates <hes> directly in response to the Fed rate cut so they should care about borrowing costs but but they should also care more broadly on the impact on the economy it's going to affect the barring of businesses also and when their costs are lowered than they're are more likely to hire people and pay them more so there are a number of different ways that this could affect the average American J.. D. Hanson is from Miami. He got a bit more for technical wants to know about the Fed's inflation target two percent years. We remind you from time to time how asks Mr Anson did they pick that number so the Fed has articulated a longer term goal of two percent for inflation and it it's slightly different than actually having being a target which means that they have some level of commitment to achieving it. They're basically just telling people that this is what we're trying to achieve and and the reality is there is nothing magic about the two percent number. The most important thing about it is that the Fed consistently says that it's going to be two percent because that's what creates stability in the inflation rate but catch of course is the Fed consistently says it wants to percent consistently undershoots as we also tell you from time to time time

"Las Vegas, Nevada. Fight on. as we continue with Maria Salazar. Geraldo Rivera on the Sean Hannity show. We have now been in the process in two years. Donald Trump's been president. We have been in the process of reversing the economic damage and poverty in our own country. He the Obama added thirteen million more Americans to the food stamp rolls. Put eight million more Americans in poverty. We now have four point three million fewer Americans on food stamps. Eight million fewer Americans impoverished since the president is and a half million new jobs created, but we're not done fixing this country. We still have plenty of poverty in big towns in small cities all across this country. And we're not addressing them either. Correct. So then what do you do with the situation? We I think the I think that we have to get our own house in order, I build the wall. So that nobody can get hurt on either side. It's for the protection of everybody. And in the interim develop a system whereby needs and certain vetting procedures are implemented coupled with some type of proof and evidence that you can take care of yourself. If you are one of the lucky ones that gets through to come to America. And and and have a shot at the American dream all good old good. But the beaming proud, amazing, bitter sweet. So proud of me, the bitterness of this is we have virtual full employment in the United States. We have fruits and vegetables that are going unharvested because there is insufficient labor in the agricultural section sector of our economy almost throughout the country. We both at apply. Those people that apply legally let them in. But after you vet them, and once we assure the American people that they have a place to work and sustain and take care of themselves. Not thinking about the just talking about the economic side. I'm talking about the asylum side, which is the one that you were talking about how do you possibly every person is going to claim them? But every person will learn to claim the most outrageous case of oppression. How does America possibly of verify or corroborate tens of thousands of stories probably one more horrific than the next President Trump has made clear that he will not he's ordered the judges not to consider economic plight. As a reason for asylum. There has to be a specific credible threat. We have to see how it works build the wall first, and then we get to make all those decisions from a position of. Strength and a position where we can insist on background checks vetting. And also insists that people are have the means to take care of themselves. And it won't be the American taxpayer that in fact has the foot the Bill is it's more complicated than people say thank you both though eight hundred nine four one Sean toll-free telephone number.
