Swim-down before surfacing when the guards fish him out but wait. There's a mysterious fishing boat. The olympia watching what's happening. The convict circling is arm as if he's signaling fishing boat the scene shifts to the boat and three guys say they need to find mike nelson. Now we're underwater with mike nelson and he's testing flares for company. When all of a sudden an anchor comes crashing down dangerously close to him and an a skin. Diver comes diving down. Mike is really mad. And he's ready to chew him out when he gets to the surface but they get to the surface in all the guys start apologizing and they say they've came a long way to see mike and mike ask them why to bury mitzi no. They introduced themselves as the brand brothers. Larry johnny and frank they claim to be abalone divers and need to to learn how to scuba dive so they can find the abalone. Mike advises them on the law. But they say hey there lotto buying brothers so he agrees to teach larry and johnny how to scuba dive for three hundred dollars. And we're going to start tomorrow morning at eight thirty. But mike tells them any of them goof off. It's over so the next morning they're out diving. Mike says they're easy to teach. He's going over the equipment the safety procedures in the buddy system underwater now. They're in triples doubles and singles tanks. Bit of everything after their first lesson which by the way lasted five hours underwater and they were below sixty feet might tells the brothers no more diving while he heads back to town jeep to get the tanks fill and he gives them a book on scuba diving. Do read larry tells mike okay teach will be good he had. That's not gonna happen. Mike returns to find the boat empty. And there's bubbles in the water. Larry johnny or diving again just franks shows up and mike and frank get into a fight before mike knocks him down gets into his gear and enters the water to retrieve the two brothers before they kill themselves. Mike finds them underwater. And it looks like they're doing something like the dive master gear exchange. Now they take off and mike goes in hot pursuit for some reason. Johnny turns around rips. Mike mask off. Mike has defined it. Put it on and clear it. Just in time to find larry running out of air. Mike grabs larry and buddy breathes with him to the surface now. Mike is really mad. Schools over another five minutes and all their problems would have been over. They'd be dead his advice. Don't play games with the ocean. The brothers gibb tell mike. They were just practicing. What was in the book. Mike gave them. Mike doesn't really believe them but they take off and as the boat depart mike find frank's wallet on the pier. Apparently he lost it. Doing to fight with mike. He's not frank brennan but frank bronson the plot thickens. Wonder if my god is three hundred dollars the scene now shifts to fisherman's warf and mike is getting the low down on the bronson brothers. They haven't been abalone fishermen for years and there's a fourth brother mark now mike looking for their boat but he spots it on often abandoned peer in oakland and decides that he needs to scuba dive out to see what's up. The board is empty. But before mike can get on board the three bronze brothers show up his only option. Hide under the boat when the engine starts. He grabbed a dangling. Bow-line and hitches a ride. They're up to no good. The pressure is tremendous as he hangs on an fears of the blades of the prop behind them. But the boat finally slows then stops. And larry johnny jump in on scuba and have an extra set a gear. What's going on. Mike surfaces and sees their right off alcatraz. It's two against one. Nothing new for mike nelson. He follows them down to some rocks underwater where they deploy a surface buoy. Then we see a convict one zero nine eight six. That would be mark bronson. He died into the water now. Mike gets it as he sees the convict getting into a wet suit. And putting on the gear. Mike shoots a flare off to signal. The guards on alcatraz hoping it works. Mike is now fully rigged mask wetsuit. Tank regulator weight belt and knife and their high tailing it off against a strong title current. But larry turns and he spots mike. He's going to fight a rearguard action while johnny and markswoman. It's a knife fight. And it's a good one larry's tough clever and slippery but might get behind. Him cuts his air hose and brings him to the surface. And that's where we see. Mike's knife into larry's first stage. The flare did its job. And there's a patrol boat from the island coming on the scene that's one bronson in the bag on the boat. They followed the brothers bubbles and when they catch up mike dies back in lights off a flare and pokes it at the brothers and another massive underwater fight breaks out mike pulls off marks masks shuts air off and shoves him johnny he then puts johnny in a stranglehold and brings the two brothers to the surface. Mike has thwarted escape attempt. Larry says on the boat. It was a pretty good scheme. Yeah mike doesn't think so. Wow this first. Episode new year was jam packed with some great underwater fight scenes. I guess they really wanted to get everyone excited about the show again. And you most definitely will recognize johnny bronson. That was leonard. Nimoy yes mr spock. He shows up again. So that's the alcatraz story from nineteen fifty-nine the first episode of season. Two of seon. Hope you enjoyed it. I'll be back again soon with another installment of seon. It's still alive here on scuba shack radio.

"Maybe you can help us out. Why would Commissioner Manford come out and say we were never going to are we weren't going to play more than 60 games? We can't figure out why he would say that. Because it sure seems like my question would be Larry one. Why would he said, And if that was true Where we wasted the last three months, trying to negotiate when 60 games was going to be the Max. Well, I think I'm not sure I think help situation is really left us unless left a lot of uncertainty for everyone and I just I believe that there has been concern all the way through. What? How many games you can really play against Starting Now? I understand. You know, a couple of months ago deal got done earlier. You know the calendar might have allowed for that. Like I got to say there was 111 takes work book that landed on our desks. Few days ago. I don't know. Maybe we could go and I'm not sure that could have been Bye. No early June or whatever it is. It's just been really I'm not exactly sure, all of the timing on the calendar guys, but I just I know that this is really a logistical challenge to put all this together. You know, I like the N B A and name HLs survey knows we're moving. We're moving players around the city. And that stuff and I think it only can happen, but it's challenging. We've gotta have real home procedures in place. And then and then you know, a really good. Ah. Ability for the players trusting relationship with players that once within the hotel room, they don't put themselves address. No, I mean I get all that, but I mean, you can't speak for him, But I'm just a guy when he says the reality is who we're going to play more than 60 games, no matter how the negotiation with the players went. That just seems to me like that. Why negotiate all the Why were we going back and forth with the 100 Games? 70 games? Hey, maybe we could do 82 But we'll do a tiered payout schedule or we'll give you 70% of the what? Why? Why? Why were we doing all that at that point, instead of just saying look sixties it that would they Let's move on. Maybe concert the season sooner and get some more days off. And maybe if we have to miss a couple weeks, maybe we can still fit the schedule in inches. Maybe that was a case. I'm just surprised he's said it. And if if that was the stance of the owners, I know you weren't in the group. But I'm I'm sure you know what's going on. Why would we go to the whole exercise of negotiating when he says We don't care how the negotiations when we were never going to play more than 60? I just I'm confused. I'm trying to understand it. Yeah, I look, I'm not entirely clear, but I do think the health Considerations. A CZ we got more and more into it. I do believe that they health considerations became scarier and scarier, But I think that we're Yeah, it was Rob Manford said. Ah, yeah, it would have been better if we if it was a less rancor. Obviously, I just think that the health is a moving moving target for everyone and Always so we What we gotta do now is to get a move on. We gotta figure out a way to get to keep everybody safe. Open 60 games. I'll tell you one thing. Very few people are going to be at the ball park. Which is normally my job. I would not say that's a good thing turtles. But I'm going to say that's a good thing. You are trying to reduce the number of folks at the wall part Keep it safe as possible on you know the basic and broadcasters can be our game will be on the road will be not going from the road, but we'll be done. From my from the horrible park actually. Let me that helps the health situation into help. "The brains of the operation here his name is larry jacobson larry how on earth and in space are you doing today to ingrain terrestrially and outerspace wonderful larry and i were listening to a playback of the show the other day i tried to start the show off with a little less energy because i sounded a little bit like mr ed kicking off the show on one of our old shows i had a little too much of a broader in my voice but if i missed her ed then i guess larry that might make you wilbur now i'm going to be the neighbor okay you're the neighbor all right well we're not gonna talk about mr ed or any other nick at nite shows on this show today one of the things that we're going to stay focused on is that proactive investing four you are financial family are radio family out there and we always love to brag just in case my mom's listening that yeah we are internationally broadcast now that is a lot of fun and it is is always it always is a lot of fun meeting everybody when we're out of the classes in different places all around in trading academy all over the world but one of the things we're going to spend a lot of time on here today is talking about the financial markets talking about you know income generation talking about the skills and abilities that it takes to do that and really really how to get on the right track there and you know larry one of the things that we usually start off with and it's been kind of interesting because we usually even say it's never more true than now but i mean really all that we're dealing within the markets and one of the things i love about our classes is is really starting to see the light bulbs turn on with individuals as they come in and they're able to start recognizing downmarket as an opportunity right we can make money as the markets are going up you could make money as the markets are going down there's also a stagnant market and their strategies where you could make money as the markets are not moving right but lately we haven't had that that lack of activity that we've had to worry about we've had a lot of up and we've had a lot of down as far as as far as the average trader the average investor out there looking to be more on that proactive side of things what do you think the keys are for them today well you just said a beautifully as the fact that so many people out there because of lack of knowledge don't recognize these as opportunities they they sit back and they go wow i'm just back on this roller coaster it actually brings up fears instead of giving you opportunities to be thinking about and so really what differentiates a lot of our students ryan from what happens in the real world especially if you're not a professional trader is that most people think they can just go out there put on a trade it's gonna work out every single time because that's what people are led to believe and then once they start to do that they're not working out as well and they start losing some money then the fear kicks in and they start listening to other people who try to tell them what they think is wrong and it just kind of permeates in and becomes like that old commercial you tell friend than they tell until the front and so really what it comes down to is you're missing out on opportunities every single day right now and usually we get into sideway markets which we kind of feel like we're in right we have these big drops and it goes back up again this great opportunity to take advantage and be able to learn how to trade both sides of the equation and unfortunately most people that we know is starting out they learned only one side where you're buying low and trying to sell high even that isn't doing done well for most people and so imagine you can learn a skill that you can make money by the markets go up or down and still be able to manage your account efficiently yeah absolutely and it is all about managing it efficiently and everyone has different goals and different resources different risk tolerances and that's one of the things i love so much about the financial markets is it really is an area where with the proper skills with the proper abilities which always starts with the proper education is a place where really anybody can go and have the opportunity to to really thrive now you're talking about the market's going going sideways and it really has over the last like you know we talk about the volatility up and down on a daily basis but when you do step back and look at those bigger picture type of type of a movement which is probably what most of the kind of average investors are even concerned about there really hasn't been a whole lot of a whole lot of movement one way or the other it's easy to turn on the t._v. and go oh my goodness we the dow went down three hundred points day or all the dow went up three hundred points today but that is really what we're getting the down and then the up and down the up and you look overall and it's like oh man it's really not going anywhere and one of the things that that happens in the average kind of retirement account out there is that's the worst case scenario really i mean the down markets i guess would be the worst case scenario the second worst case scenario is that is that stagnant with volatility because the volatility is sucking money out on a short term basis it slowly starts to come back on the on that short term basis as well with the relief rallies but in the end that whole time the fees are being drawn out of it so all of a sudden fees are being drawn out fees are being drawn out we're not getting any growth all of a sudden we're looking at a flat year which is kind of like what we had last year get kind of that flat scenario minus two to three percent just for those account management fees inside of our inside of the classic retirement accounts out there just becomes very very costly not only are we not making money but we're paying fees to not make money and then on top of it you got what we refer to as inflation prices keep going higher you're buying power goes lower so you got to realize that there's great opportunity right now most people like you just mentioned when they're in a sideways market and they're in a self directed with time and account and they're not taking advantage of that big big big loss yeah absolutely well what if what would you do if you knew there was a place to learn step-by-step strategies designed to help you make the right moves inside of the financial markets a place to develop skills that can help you generate income income and build confidence towards your retirement goals what would you do if you knew that place existed because i'm about to give away some tickets to a place just like that we have a class coming up in your area that is exactly that but to give away a set of tickets to this i've got to make sure it's okay with larry yeah let's do it all right well we'll just a second you're gonna have a chance to win a set.

What would you do if you knew that place existed because I'm about to give away some tickets to a place just like that? We have a class coming up in your area that is exactly that. But to give away a set of tickets to this. I've gotta make sure it's okay with Larry. Let's do it right in just a second. You're gonna have a chance to.

"Now back to Gary and Larry one to pitch Swaggart em strike three Ghana with the cutter, and that was a good one to eighty nine miles an hour. Second Bumgarner strikeout. Yeah, we were just looking at a piece of video after the great Tim Brown here. If you coach, any sport you're going to stay tuned for this. We're gonna talk about something that as ugly and incident as you could find an again, if you're involved in use sports, hang on right now that we do have Tim Brown national baseball writer for Yahoo highly respected, Tim will get right to the bottom line. We're tired of planning these going away party for Bumgarner when is it going to happen? Where can you hold out another month? Financing gets going to drag right to the end. I would right. If you're on, don't you what you push it around. Wait for some other guys to move. You know, there's, there's plenty of other starting pitching out there. You know, see what the Blue Jays do Stroman, and the Tigers with Boyd and Orioles, cash nerd, the Mariners are almost certainly gonna move Mike leake. You know, do the Indians, Trevor ballot. So I think there's enough out there where where there's gonna be some pushing and shelve, and for the next month or so. Let me ask you approach in thirty is we all know what he's done certainly here in San Francisco. But at that age is he going to fetch a gigantic hall for the giants where you go. Wow. This is truly reshaping our team what we're getting in return for Bumgarner. Well, I think you look at Madison right now are as up a little bit. It's up a little bit. But the strikeouts per nine at about a career average Wasser down. I think that if you're a team that's looking at Madison Bumgarner. You're not just looking at a second half of starts. You're looking at that two plus your a, you know, Tober a guy who doesn't scare in October. You know, we've seen mogul go back to let's go to the royals championships. Even some of the giants championships where starters one time to a lineup maybe one and a half time through a lineup and I think that makes managers nervous in GM's nervous. I think they would like we're in a year where I since I can remember, I think, bullpen, ER, as are higher than rotation the so this notion of jamming matchups into these middle innings even or are maybe not the wisest way to go and guy like Bumgarner, you know. Just going to be gained. Maybe he's not exactly the pitcher. He was and fourteen let's say, but he certainly is not afraid of October, and that's really attracted how big for two months, plus however long you last October probably not huge. You know, I mean, enough maybe to, to pull the giants farm system out of the worst debater, you won't get an everyday player of note. That's not my you know, I mean a guy who maybe could become an everyday player. What about what about a guy could Frazier from the Yankees, and they just got farmed out? They've got murderers row lineup. That's the envy of almost any lineup I've ever seen. I mean, that's how great this lineup is, and they don't know about Luis Severino do with the Yankees trade, a young controllable, outfielder like Clint Frazier, albeit one. They just farmed out for a rental situation Bumgarner. Or is that price too high? My sense is no. I do think that we'll see what, you know, talking to GM's about say the relief market. They are not in the mood to move guys who can help them for the next seven years, even for someone who, who will be around for a little while longer. You know, you, you see how, you know, GM's hoard these younger under control, type guys who are big league ready or on the fringe of the big leagues. And I just think a really reluctant to, to move the futures the way they used to. I doubt I you know, I think you'll you'll get a guy who can play. But you know what? Here's the thing, I mean, the giant, you have enough guys who can play the baby, you know, I, I would I would hope there's more out there. I mean, I hope for the giants sake that maybe somebody does get desperate. And, and somebody gets hurt. Somebody pulled up lame. You know, and, and forcing someone who do more of a panic situation. That's that's how it's gonna work Tim are the as in the race because the as do have Jorges Matteo who swing in a very hot bat, and triple A, they have Luiz Pereira another young outfielder doing hitting well over three hundred AA. Both those guys seem seemingly would be perfect fits for for the giants outfield of the future. I know far Hans on the record as saying he's like he's already pitched the as trades, and he would like to make a trade with his former team. What do you think of are the as in the wild card race in your mind and could you envision them, you know getting involved for Bumgarner? Yes. What a buck and a half back in the wild card race. With the, you know, the Rangers ahead of the Red Sox, little chop yet, the Indians who we don't know what they're gonna do leading to the deadline ahead of him. I think. Absolutely. They're in it. And I think they should add, I think Bumgarner thing would be a great idea. You know, they could use a little bit of everything. You know, even even the back in the bullpen Trevino's not been quite what he what he's done even try and it's not been quite what he's been. So if they could add to the bullpen shore if they could add to the rotation. Sure. I don't see them back off by any means. Yeah. The guest is Tim Brown national baseball writer for Yahoo sports. You know what we do sports? Talk radio the game. How do you play the game is to be impatient? It's got to happen now. And you know, call us in and you can gripe, too, but being realistic and no one far Han as you do. Is he going to have to wait until these deals run out with Crawford, and Posey and longoria to name three before he can really make a move and mold this team the way he wants? I think the giants the issues are twofold, the one you mentioned, and they're also in a division with team that just is not quitting, right? Spend a lot of money has a lot of talent in going anywhere. Nobody's talking about a window closing in LA. So I, I think that enters into the conversation if I mean, we saw the Mariners this winter decide, you know, what eighty nine eighty eight wins is dumb. You know, we've either you got ninety nine or sixty two and and you're rebuilding. So I think we're seeing a lot of those decisions being made where would there, there is no game and being just average? And if far Han were to grind to try to chase the dodgers as the giant stand, now, it would I think ultimately end up as mediocre. Yeah. And that is there a market for any of those guys. I mentioned though. I you know, I'm my line is always think pose. He's a guy who plays his entire career with with one franchise. But now maybe far Han is different is, I would think differently is there a market for Posey, or longoria or Crawford. I we're getting a notion of what teams think of sort of these mid level veteran guys who are still okay players probably pretty good guys in the clubhouse in the winter. Right. Do you guys are having a very difficult time getting contract. So, yeah, I mean if the giants are gonna eat. Money, a lot of money they could probably get some players back. But I think those sorts of players are not nude as of. What ways changers second half of the season changes anymore. The way they perhaps used to be all AM Crawford's having a terrible year. He's hitting two hundred Posey's lost all of his power. I mean, if you pay the contract, maybe somebody who'd be interested, but as you just outlined, you know, you've got to ask the question why, you know, this, you just wrote an interesting we're talking to Tim Brown. MLB columnists. Yahoo? Sports with us on the guest line. Tim just wrote an interesting piece on how bullpens are very dicey around the big leagues. And I'm just kinda wondering because the giants have Will Smith and they have Sam Dyson, who has been fantastic. I mean he's gets ground balls. Anytime he wants he's having maybe the best here he's had in a few who is hot to try to improve their pen and I mean, this is this everybody thinks Bumgarner Bumgarner. But I mean sometimes in the past relievers have faxed, Larry Anderson, got netted Jeff Bagwell, and, and Heathcliff Slocumb once upon a time netted Boston. What chasing Varitek? Derek lowe. You can sometimes get somebody to pay through the nose for a big time, relief arm, and the giants have a couple of who's really desperate for bullpen arms at this point. Well, this'll get your tension, the dodgers are desperate for bullpen on and I don't know if far haunted Andrew are going to gonna make that trade. But I think you look at the best bullpens in baseball, or Cleveland or Tampa or in San Francisco or Cincinnati, the teams that really need them. Dodgers twins Braves Phillies. How did the nationals feel about themselves right about now? The Astros could fill in behind a sooner Oakland could use an alarm Boston. What how does Boston feel about itself? I mean go you can't mail it in. You gotta go get it right. So it gets into, you know, even the cubs you know they go get Kimball. They pay a lot of money for timbale, who is Craig Kimball today. Do we know do we know for sure that he's not the second half and the October guy? So, yeah, I think that a guy like. Will smith? Would make ought to bring a little something I think the guy even you know, you mentioned Tony Watson. There's another guy. Yeah. Could could bring a little something, you know, obviously, I think you'll have Mark Lanson around for a while. But, you know, I, I do think that's where a lot of the sort of the fun stuff leading to the deadlines going to be because almost every contender could could use an upgrade there. And there are guys available. If if, if the Indians have a rough next month Brad hand is out there. Greg, Holland baby out there fully Vasquez could be out there. What are the Padres do at the deadline? Do they do they really push four for the wild card? Do the do you know, do they move Kirby Yates so an awful lot still to be pulled over the next three or four weeks? But I think you will see that, you know, that, that a guy like Will Smith will get as much action as bums on right at the end here. Tim real quick. If you could does votes he manage again. And because you said far eight times I'll take. Deliberative asking who's going to be the next manager of the giants, you seem connected. Well, that's a great question. I mean I I keep assuming like a bam, bam. Kind of situation. I guess, you know, if it hard to Emba bam meals. Okay. Right. I think that, you know, the last old school manager hired probably was let's go with Ron Gardenhire Detroit. Mike social still sitting out there Joe Girardi, still sitting out there a lot of guys who manage a lot of years in this league who whose phones or not reading, so you want a younger guy cheaper guide and somebody shoved around a little bit. Yeah. That seems to be the trend, right? Yeah. Yeah. Tim. It's a bright future. Eric Chevenez is a name that I've heard mentioned. And I think Chevy would be a nice fit. I really. I really do. All right. It was an interesting choice. They went with the, the sort of the, the sort of the less creative. Brad Austin is higher. But I, I know that China's was was in the conversation. And I know that Billy likes them a lot Sam Tim good stuff, man. We love reading keep it rolling in. And thanks for a few minutes this morning on Cambier. Joy, guys have a great done. I know they don't show you around him. A little bit in that car. Thanks very much. Tim Brown from yahu. We're going to talk.

"I was like say he's the brains of the operation here. And if you've ever tuned into the show before I'm sure you can back me up on that one. Now, one of the things that we were talking about that. I love so much in that last segment is we really talking about the difference between even knowledge and skills and the abilities and how we're really entering into that ability driven world rather than how we start off the conversation. Larry was with the with the college degree driven world. Right. It's all about the abilities. That we have the things that we can do the things that we can the things that we can accomplish. Right. That's that's really what they able to drive us forward. Now. Whether you're just tuning in. Maybe your first time listener, maybe you've been with us for the whole show get excited. The best is yet to come and Larry one of the questions that I like to ask him. I've asked a few people lately. And I want to throw the question up to you. And see if you can help some of our students find a way where they could really answer this. But the question I always like to ask you, what would you do if you knew there was a place where you could learn a step-by-step strategy designed really to help you make the right moves inside of the financial markets, really like a place, and this goes back to where we're just talking about a place to develop the skills, right? That could help you generate income and build the confidence towards your retirement goals. And I know we wanted to talk about the income side of things a little bit. But a place. What do you think somebody could do if they knew a place like that existed? Well, let's take an even broader here. You know? I once read that someone said in let's pretend on average you had thirty five hundred weeks in the lifetime. So now people are pulling over to the side of the road. Ryan, they're picking up their calculators are going to right. But if you really took the time to think about it, and you said, wow, how many weeks have I already used up and how many weeks have left then you gotta ask yourself. Wow. The average person right now work. It's a minimum of two thousand hours a year. Think about that. Now. Here's the sad part. Many people go into jobs, maybe you're listening, and you're one of these people who said, you know, I'm just gonna come out of school. I got this degree. I really haven't got much skill building anymore because most of the university professors are tenured now and they're basically blocking the twentieth century. You don't know what goes on right now. So that's fascinating. I'm finding finally hearing people going back to more vocational schools to get those skills you've been referring to and so that's the important thing right now, it's about how you get there. In a way.

"He is who everyone wants to be like, and that is because he is the brains of the operation out here that is for sure, but I've got Larry out here and Larry first question for you is how the heck doing doing great. Ryan. How're you doing? Doing wonderful excited to be out here with ya doing the show this week. This is always the fastest hour of the week. We have a lot of fun doing the show and talking to you our financial family out there across the airwaves, and one of the things we always focus the vast majority of our time on I would say every time we'd get on the air. And every time we can get you in front of a group of people is really talking about income and talking about how to how to generate more income inside of the financial markets, and one of the things we always stress, I know we'll spend a lotta time on it. Here today is how to really get that consistent growth consistent income in the markets. Whether the markets are going up, and whether the market's going down, whether the market's going sideways, and and that's really the the key is because there's three directions, and and as individuals were very comfortable with the buy and hold kind of bullish mentality of you know, we we invest into this. We invest into that. And we hold it for a long time. And hopefully when we hit retirement, it's just worth it's just worth a heck of a whole lot more. Now, one of the things Larry I want to get some of your feedback on. That's always a fun show starter is really the consistency side of things because really we're going to have consistent growth in the. We can't be directionally dependent. And what I mean by that is we can't only profit if the market goes in one direction. I don't I don't know about you. But one of my favorite things when I teach a half day class here at Online Trading Academy. One of my favorite things is to really work with the class and get them to view down markets as opportunities not just bad things. You know, so many times the down markets are viewed as less so bad because people are losing money. And while that is true. If we're just in that bullish biased as markets are going down with the right knowledge and with the right skills. Those can be viewed as as great opportunities to make money. I mean, if you go back through some of the major crashes that we've experienced and you can you can find the the Soros of the world the Paulson's of the world, and you can find the word billionaire next to their name at the end of a lot of these crashes. And so it's always interesting how how how maybe millions are made on the way up billions are made on the way down. But what are some of the things you guys are working on with the students right now or some of the some of the new tools you and your instructor team are laying out out there right now to help people become more consistent than less directionally. Pendant inside of the markets. Well, this last week has been beautiful. I mean, everything we've been talking about on the show together. I'm talking about this for weeks. Now waiting for the opportunity to see the markets. Correct. And come back down. And as a result. What happened starting off at the end of last week into this week as we got everybody's wish that the market start coming down. It comes down three times faster than it goes up. And a lot of our students were taught that wants that market goes down. You can actually make money shorting the market. It's called shorting where you're actually selling the market as opposed to most who by the market. So a lot of our students shift from that fear of God the market's going down on what to do. I'm going to lose money to our can actually learn how to make money one of the things that we could do is. We have a big stack of tickets right here. We're just kicking the show off. We've got a bunch of tickets. We can give away and we can help a few people out there. Get started becoming more consistent in the market by doing a quick little giveaway. Forties passes that are to our half day classes. What do you say? Let's do it. All right. Well, right now, we've got a half day classes coming up in your area the half day classes, where you'll see exactly what it takes to be mortgage. Assistant in the market making money generate more income as the market's going up down or sideways now the half day classes about three hours long. And if you would've set a passes to these half day classes that is going to be your investment. Well in just a second. You're gonna have a chance to win a set of these passes to one of the half day classes to get your phones..

"Larry one of my favorite things about the financial markets is we've got the commodities market, right? We've got the options market. We've got the equities market. We could actually we could even divide those up a little further if we would like, but you could build commodity strategies derivative strategy strategies dividend strategy. Daily income weekly income. There's a whole gamut of ways where you can generate different types of income and have multiple streams of income coming from the financial markets, and I really don't know anywhere else that provides that type of opportunity, and you touched on multiple streams of income a little bit ago, and how the the average millionaire has five plus streams of income, and, you know, brought up the J O B because it really is that if we're just relying on j o b stands for just over broke. Because if we lose that source of income, and that's the only one we have we are broke. Right. And so having it keeps us just over broke. Unfortunately, a lot of times it puts us in a situation where where we can't afford to do the things that we want to do. And we can't even afford to make the changes that we wanna make. That's where it really takes the individual to come on and say, this is the direction I'm going not not just set a New Year's resolution, which we're all going to be doing in a few weeks. But then following through with it. What are some of the things that you could you could really share with our listeners right now to really help them have the confidence because doing anything new is tough. Help them have the confidence to start generating an. An extra source of income inside of their lives. Well, there's two things that sabotage most people more than anything else, it's fear and procrastination. And what if we share with the listeners Ryan, you know, this? I mean, it's amazing that a lot of our students. Learn how to become what are called three hour traders most people spend it three hours in front of their television every single day. So there's an ability for people to be coached to understand that it doesn't have to be difficult at the end of the day the way people become successful trading by following one. Simple idea. Trading is all about successfully the transfer of money from people who don't know what they're doing to people who do know what they're doing. And once you learn this skill and you understand a simple step by step process. That works across any markets. Like, you were mentioning then it gives you an edge. And that's the big difference here being successful is being committed and being coach -able and being able to understand things that most people don't do you ask why don't every what isn't everybody? Do this is because they don't allow themselves to be success. Successful people are willing to do whatever it takes to become successful. Most people are poor for the simple reason. P O R they're passing over opportunities repeatedly. And so starting off here just with this half day class. It's an opportunity for you to come in. And learn information about things you never know how they worked before. And you'll be amazed like our students are that you come in thinking. This is something you can't do for example, one of my students mic took our option classes, and he couldn't do this. He was getting himself way too frustrated while here he is four years later making five figure incomes, and it's possible for anybody to do this. If you're in that right mindset, and you'd again don't think of yourself as frog and hold yourself back from getting the success that you can deserve. Yeah. Absolutely. And and one of the things that you touched on there with the word poor, you know, it is just a state of mind, really and one of the one of the lessons. My grandfather used to share with me. From my whole life growing up little kit went back when I was a little kid. You know, he would always say if you want to change your state of mind, change, your attitude, and really what that means is take a lot of those. I can't because really there I won't and turn them into icons. But really what that means is I will write and take control that and make it happen. Because that's really what happens. Nothing's given to us. We've to go out, and we have to make it happen. One of the things where we can help a few people get started those we do still have a couple of stacks of tickets here. Should we do another quick giveaway before the break, we need to I want to avoid a lot of would have could have should have. Absolutely. Those are the three wealthiest people. I know would have could have should have right now. We've got a half day class going up in your area and the half day class is where you see exactly what it takes truly generate that.

"Hour number two of our program on the air. We had Reese Hoskins who is at the all star game. This you're part of the homerun derby. He said that the Red Sox are gonna win this World Series that they are the best team. I asked him who's best player that's out there for either team. He said, Mukhi bets. I asked him, which player, what do you put it the plate for any at bat, a must have at Batty, said JD Martinez on either team. I gotta be honest with you as much as I love those guys and as much as I'm not a home run hitter in a major league baseball player outed shoes. I would choose Justin Turner, Matt. That guy is just an on base machine. The guy struck out to end the game. I know that I know that, but he got on base three other times. You don't have to troll this to try. You just set me up. I know I'm struck out to end the game, you know, down four, two different, look, whatever I would take him need. One hit to win the game guy on bass. He's an on base machine. But anyway, go to our app apple app store. Google play also hit the link at the top of our Twitter handle vote on our poll question today. Chris forty have over. There's yeah, so NFL trade deadline coming up already is seen a few moves this week, which guy would you like to see traded before the deadline where if it's Gerald, Patrick Peterson, ally manning, Derek, Carr, Damaris Thomas within what leads the lead but leads the poll right now. Chris bell, we away thirty seven percent where if it's jailed right behind thirty, one percent, you know what? I think that's just, you know, Levy on bell might people voting for the Steelers to Jhansi reasons, fantasy reasons to Larry FitzGerald is kind of like a, hey, give Larry one shot at a ring. Type thing should have been trained two years ago. For me. It's Patrick Peterson, it's Patrick Peterson, Patrick Peter. Persson can be the difference for anybody. Anybody maim it name a team at needs, defensive back help that he's a game changer Levy on bell. If you stick him on the eagles might be a game changer. Right? The Texans finally getting something out of Lamar Miller. Just last week they feast be. He finally busted out and against Jacksonville to. I'm just going through my head right now is who could Levy on bell turn into a Super Bowl contender and then take them to the next level. Anybody that's active right now could the falcons. The defense is the issue, but devante Freeman out. Would he what? What would he mean right there? Patrick Peterson would mean more to Atlanta. Dall- every on bells and percent. Right. And you look at the chiefs. I can't stress it anymore. I said it in an afford down segment two weeks ago. I mean, Patrick Peterson on the chiefs. If Peterson is that shutdown corner that everybody believes he still is including me. So I'm basically saying this out there at any of the haters are if there's anybody out there that thinks he would make a difference, a guy who takes your number one, remove him from the equation more often than not or just takes a third of the field away..

"Welcome back. This is Larry one more and you're listening to Larry Wilmore black, the air. Nice to have you guys out this pre. She appreciate all the support for buddy listening to this podcast. Podcast, people listening to a podcast. I appreciate it. I am having a lot of fun. What are we about a year and a half into this thing. I really enjoy talking to the people on the show and hearing from all of you out there who listened to the show, really appreciate it. Try to put in some guests that you might be interested in today. We have a very special guest, Jill Solloway who last few years been one of the top certainly creators writers in Hollywood. She created the show transparent, and I think I love dick was the other one. Both big show's over an Amazon which has been in that big net flicks business to Amazon is trying to reshape itself has content provider, and certainly jail has been one of the important people over there. So Joe Nye Brennan to other over the years, I've, I've been a fan of hers and everything, and it was really nice to sit down and talk to her. She's got some a real interesting story about her journey from pretty much being a straight woman to where she is now. Now, let her explain that. Because it's it's not as easy as it would seem to be. It's very interesting. So I think you'll enjoy that conversation. I don't have much to weigh in on as I like to say today, Gino, Brad Kavanagh sworn in. So I think people are kind of stupid by that whole thing. And now the midterms are coming up, so I just want to encourage people to get out and vote get out, especially register registered to vote, check the registration date. Some have passed in some states. Some are still open. I just changed my address. I have forgotten to do that. So I went under education site changed it. I'm all up to date, feel good about that, and but I just want to encourage everybody, democrat Republican, independent libertarian, whatever registered get out to vote, use your voice. Here's where your voice matters. You guys at the ballot box Matt saying, it doesn't matter anywhere else, but here's where it's most effective. It seems to me that the house is going to be vulnerable to change. I don't think the Senate is that looks like it'll probably stay pretty close to the way it is, but you never know. But the more people they get out and make a difference with their vote, which is your boys as well. Then let's do this and you know, that's how we create change has bombs that don't boo vote. Boo. I think people booed after he says that too. They before. And then after I think it's kind of funny. Oh, Bama by that seems so long ago it really does. It's so weird every time I even see Trump when I see them say, President Trump, I go, this can't be happening. I don't know how you guys, but I still feel like it's some weird dream that I'm gonna wake up from some nightmares something, you know. And I have to say as much as I hate saying these things and you guys know try to keep it real Trump predicted that he would win so much. We will be sick. His winning would be tired. You're going to be sick of winning. We, I actually am sick. Now, Trump is correct. He predicted that we would be sick of his winning and I am sick of his winning. So let's change that the register to vote or if you're supporting him, go, go out and vote to, you know, do what you gotta do. Let's do it. You guys, it's coming up soon. All right. So anyhow, that's it. We got basketball season starting pretty soon. I'm going to be doing a. A special little thing about basketball, I think is that a separate things act we're doing. Zack is the disembodied voice. It's totally separate, but it is on the ringer networks. So be looking for that. "It could just be some innate thing that human beings have of being an enclosed vices, but maybe something a little bit more to it. Maybe these old locations with all their rock and construction and everything is absorbing something from the past which replays on this repeating track over and over and over again. So I'm gonna play for you. Now, the story of Andy hawkeness Andy hawkeness had worked for the London underground for many decades, but it had this encounter in nineteen eighty two is the last train had just left the station and the station was Bank station, and he was locking up the station for the night. But as he was doing that, he experienced something very unusual take a listen. So I looked in the lift, nobody in it was clean shutting down as will cross. But six foot away from the number one, there was a knock, knock, knock knock on the door. Now that's not true because I've just looked in there. There's nobody there is. Nobody else in. We've me there was no wings. Occasionally you could eat. These doors route will be wasn't. It was a definite, knock, knock, knock. Now this is not happening, carried on, ignore, go away site myself. Walk across to where to switch room is I own the switcheroo and our wedge opened the door and switch the lights off to the merge, just left on the emergency lights and started to walk across the ticket whole walk across older sudden back door sledge. Lightening and wouldn't even look back. There was no wind, no, nothing can. It was scared the life of me and it's nine. Nine. Agni nearly might a mess him attracted enough. I wait. That was the last time I was working on that side of the station. I'm glad never win. So what a strange story. But of course, this could just be an overactive imagination. It could be the Andy is working, let it not. He's been working long hours. He's extremely stressed and you know, there are gusts of winds the come through these tunnel systems that can cause top of activity to happen. Although he sounds very genuine, he sounds very genuine about something was a presence there that was causing him some type of fear that the kicker to this story. Because when you hear that in itself, you just think, well, maybe maybe it's just he's mind being over active and playing tricks on him. But the thing is though, is that what he was talking about with the lift, it was connected to the ticket stool. Now, the ticket stole actually many years ago before the station was built was a church crypt, and it was excavated in nineteen hundred in that they found hundreds of bodies so many that there was eight bodies per square meter. So one thing that seems to be a common theme amongst many of these underground cases and certainly in this documentary at self is. Is that there's no spirit activity until you disturb the graves of the dead. And of course, with the London underground, there's always construction going on. It's always expanding. There's always something happening which might be stirring up this activity, napping that in mind. Let's take a listen to the story of Bob and Larry. Now, Bob and Larry one is a God one a driver. And I both been working for the underground over fifty years between them. They've got a lot of experience both of them experiencing very, very strange on the Kennington loop. Now we'll the Kennington loop is it's not somewhere where passengers normally go. The trains will head down toward salute. There's one loss station which is Kennington what people will get off, and then the train will go into the loop white for five to ten minutes, spin around and come back to complete its judy's. But both Bob and Larry experience something very strange. Take a listen twenty five years ago. I was a God on line one day. We will contacted by the lung controller and he asked us because of an inch. Further up the line to divert to Kennington loop. We Detroit passages can tune on the southbound. Then we move off way into in the loop for the signal to come northbound which normally that particular nights, it was ten minutes. We were there for awhile. About five minutes or so, which seems quite time when when you held day and nothing moving when I heard the interconnecting car.
