It was a little stressful It actually started the day before our wedding and it was. I would say about three or four inches of I. Wow I I I say it upset you because at my wedding my last one to marry there was one cloud in the sky and my wife was very upset so the idea of Nice storm in Lizard is something so what happened Georgina. Well the Maury before a wedding You know that's the the day that you set it up for your rehearsal dinner and all that good stuff I wake up at five. Am and I hear sleet hitting my window. And I saying I got got my fiance and I was like We need to. We need to figure this out. He said okay. Okay let me get some coffee closed on. We'll ride and we wrote down the road and he told me. Okay your buddies driving today when the initial excited to hit Everything went okay. Though we we got there we decorated that part went fine Wedding and there's about three vehicles that we can actually cause us trucks. We don't need to be you know a little tiny car So entire Party fit into you. Know a king cab truck and who knows what should have been about twenty minutes and it took us an hour to get there and actual been you know it was it was okay. I was surprised column. I don't know why I was so called. It may have been you know my garage Bay for Kenneth and they've kept giving me wine all morning long we've got there and the best man was almost like He's a take your PS driver and had to make deliveries that day and get to our wedding so that was interesting We were one photographer short. We were supposed to have have cue and one of them couldn't get out of her driveway. So we only had one for talker but it was also help our guests. Were there a bunch of guests. That couldn't make it after you've spent all that money there were a few but honestly I think panned out well because you know how it weddings. There's the people that your parents no or they're the distant family members and their your wedding. You have to give the Awkward Hug. How are you? People didn't bother to come so we didn't have to have any and yet though. Well that's good. It's it's just so interesting. How Times have changed and how people are different? I'm just trying to picture my grandma Chez Chez saying so I walk up my wedding day and I looked over in the bed at my fiance and I said well. It's snowing outside and then later on I was upset so my bridesmaids started serving me wine around Matt o'clock in the morning. No that did not happen with Shea Shea but everything they worked out okay right. Did you go on a nice honeymoon right after that we did. We left the next day and we went to Cancun and everything here was shut down for a week and we didn't have to in any of it does see. I see. That's great and made Cancun even better right. I like absolutely did and this is where I really think. You're Bob's people. The part right where the people that you didn't want to have to have awkward hugs and Chitchat with didn't make it. I would praise is. Yeah that is pray for snow and ice to be able to avoid Bob ideal situation so true. That's great. So how long have you guys been married now with amazing about eight months now. And how long have you been together. Other we got together. I senior year of high school. So we've been together almost six years so they say the first year of marriage is the toughest you know trying to get to know each. They do find that to be the case. Yes yes why. Do you say that Well for the first four years years of relationship we were in different colleges We had already made up our mind. We were GONNA go to different places before we got together and we start with those decisions and so the first relationship kind of long distance. I mean we were only about two hours apart out. Now you're every day he's there. Yeah and he lives there so never leave. My wife was talking to one of her college. sorority friends about six months ago. And she said well it's going great now now the first year with Bob who and I stopped in my tracks and she hung up. I said what are you talking about. Well you know Oh you know how you I tell you I know who I am and there's nothing wrong with that but you're you're how you are an adjustment made to accommodate how you are so Howard the adjustments he's making Georgina. Oh they're good. They're good we're finally gotten him to take his shoes off at the door. He's a contractor so he works outside he gets nasty and whenever he comes home. It was a struggle. I you know I I don't want what mud through the house of the honey. Please just leave them right there. We've finally gotten over that hurdle so you know what I'll I'll take a win win where I get to. What does he have a nice little pair of slippers usually usually and if I can keep those available hasn't lost them then for if if the nastiest thing about him is boots? You are doing exactly right Georgina. You have a great life together. Thank you so much for listening. You would never say say the first year of marriage with Mary was hard. Because you would. You would know you'd never know so. Why does she said his? It's just it's different. She can say it. But if you said it thoughtful person and I'll be like oh my gosh. I'm a very box for your tools tool. But if she says it we're like Oh oh yeah well you know how he is. I mean it is I. Hey Bob and Sheri I was listening to your show and you're talking about spicy food while I'm one of those vanilla people and I don't want to eat food. That hurts me. Why should food her chew at already makes you fat lie? Does it have to have have another component of hurting. And it has the possibility of hurting on the way out. So I'm not quite sure. What the fascination is there my whole family friends? Every time how might go to their house I pick up chicken wing. Burn my mouth off. I don't get it so I'm one of those people and you know Bob. It'd be nice if you could just apologize to the vanilla community. Thank you I love your show. Listen to every day by so thank you very much for getting in contact with us. You are so unique. I don't think in all these years we've ever had a person who is anti food and basically she. She was anti food. Schools are making students lock their phones in pouches to prevent distraction
"Schools are locking up students phones there about this yeah there's these buses like these will buses that show up at schools leased to Manhattan where like you go when you give your your cell phone before you walk into the school and they give you like a number it stays in a locker all day that's right in this case because obviously the distracted you know now when we grew up the phones such a distracted they cheat if I had my phone with me I would have had to write the answers of my hands there is my phone yeah I've I've put a cast on and then I was able to take paper out of the cast on notes is in the movie spice I guess the point is yeah like I think this is a great idea I think it's it's got to be done I think than the push back however will be yeah but what if there's a school shooting and the the kids need to call nine one one or call for it in other words that's always the excuse kids need to have phone so they can be safe but I don't know if I'm gonna buy that I I look people tell me no where to be able to keep the phone from your kids when they're teenagers sure I think I'll give him a phone and you get dial out with it I'll give him via its a couple numbers that they have to remember have it stored in there no internet no nothing Tony I've seen it with my five and three year old that might might vertically my son yeah no I give my phone just to look at like trains on a videotape I think and he becomes like The Exorcist for the head start spending try to take this thing away from me say okay keeper for like twenty minutes doesn't matter they become addicted like the I know I know you're gonna say so that things are or whatever that is that I'm seeing it's epic scary you're sick you're seeing him he's very focused on it but he's not addicted to it he's drawn while addiction but the here's the bigger issue though and here's why they should definitely take cellphones away from kids especially at school yeah because and now that they're doing studies on this they're finding a correlation a correlation that's a big deal that means as a cause and effect yeah a correlation between kids on cell phones and depression so kids that are more depressed the more time they spend their cell phone the more likely it is that they're gonna have higher levels of depression that's exactly there's a reason right there and as a school it's your responsibility to make sure that you are the parent when the parent is not around hundreds of schools in New York City by the way the tristar gonna start doing this by the weather magnetically sealed pouches yeah yeah that's I that this incredible technology so they still have the phones right there just I can be distracted by but well in San Francisco they're not too crazy better however why trying the same thing over there well because some researchers are saying that this will cause all read the exact quote I would caution the school that one of the ramifications as policy is that your activating anxiety in your studio which many backfire come up you know what whoever said that should be should resign from their position right now and he's a research psychologist Trevor the producer please book Larry Rosen now research psychologist from and if you know he told NBC bay area so you can move that hard to get in touch with cause is already doing interviews I went on the show one of in studio and I want somebody to graduate first doctor Cooper some is going to graduate last in the class apparently was doctor Larry Larry Rosen **** got him on

But that's just one year. Chris Paul's got how many years left on? Here's a hundred twenty million on. You say a lot about Chris Paul can't call them stupid. Yeah, it was that's you know what I get bored this summer, let me, let me, let me rewind that DVR recording watch that, again, the look of confusion, Nick savings face at halftime. Yeah. Like, you know, horrible, fake punts, and stuff like that is happening to me. You know, Alabama's down four touchdowns. Yeah. Yeah. That's what will you know what they, they ready themselves. Other than like LSU and Georgia in the SEC title game. Ticket eleven weeks off, man, you find run into a couple of real teams that can be a problem. But this is why does he NHL draft right around the NBA draft. I'm getting my mock draft confused man. Oh, no. Oh my God. You're not you're not mixing mock draft. So you just say. I believe that's how Richard Pryor set himself on fire. Vixen drafts. And next thing you know man goes up in flames. Just completely told the changes I've going deep into the warriors second rounders I'm here in good hands toughness this net. And I look in the guys five eight. Five eight is the only thing that jumped out at you. I'm assuming there's another kind of physical quality that jumps out at you as well. When you mix up the NHL mock draft with the NBA mantra, I wonder what that other physical quality could be Canadian location. I didn't know that. RJ Baird was Canada. Hooper's come out of Canada. As I've told you other than the United States Canada is number two, and, you know, and that's where you get into kind of weird ones like Kyrie Irving from Australia and stuff. And obviously Ben Simmons and different deals like that mean there's, well, that's because they're, they're, they're oh, men were playing they're right? Right. Right. Right. But there's a lot of, you know, I mean, Steve Nash rolling to scrape, man. A lot of lot of Canadians, just rolling out a everywhere, Silverton, Oregon chiming in Joliet. Illinois listing every day. Well, you heard that the prison in Joliet is sort of a mean pepper steak. That's it's Alabama scheduled place, sonoma's state forgetting, they don't have a football team since Larry Allen left. I'm gonna do my, my best jury read niche, impression greatest football player to ever. Come out of sonoma's state university. Isn't it? Larry. Larry allen. Yeah. Who is part of I feel like one of the funniest moments in my broadcasting career when I was doing the sideline for the Niners and in the locker room to do my little deal. And then have the coaches come on. They had an empty locker, which happened to be the locker that was used by the left tackle. Joe Staley would use it back at candlestick when Kevin's game still being used in actually a building that was still still up. And Larry Allen used it and so less Dame of the season, one of the season's Larry Allen is there. We know we friendly, whatever we chatted whatever, and it was around Christmas time. So there were kids running through the locker room and Larry Allen thank them for second. Hey, Larry come here. So now he says, little Larry, you would expect a little, Larry man, if I'd tell you that it wouldn't nothing. But just a tiny tiny, smaller version of Larry elder. That was the biggest little Larry out of remember how big Larry Allen was. And Larry Larry, Allah was Sherman tank. You're exactly right. Little will Larry. That was medium size soon to be large Larry. That was a big kid man genetics or a real thing. Never forget that never. Yeah. That's I mean, that, that we just watched Steph curry and Klay Thompson play a lot. But you're right on the genetics. I think that's absolutely the case again. You know Michael Jordan's kids. Yeah. Yeah. Just because there a family business. Don't mean that you're going to be successful than I did see brawny LeBron son dunking in a game or whatever. But then, again, I also saw one of the ball brothers score one hundred and he looked like he was dribble around guys like me the hell were you doing watching a game in which one of the ball brothers were playing basketball and that game I can only soon was that an NBA game unless something crazy happened? And I happened to miss right, there six warriors under contract. I'm good point. Point everything right now. I feel you playboy. Yeah. It's a big world. There's a lot of basketball players out there in the warriors. These couple, I got, you know, I I was getting ready for my opening game notes chase center Steph Jacob Evans Dala. Draymond never heard of McKinney off the bench sixty. That's it. Yeah. I can't figure out what's worse getting into the mock draft for checking out the ball brothers from video. That's not good. The Steelers just signed with the Australia. Steel. List. On a feel for it again still good, though, still good prison colony. Probably go to China's sunglass like they're not watching you. "Because they were shorting the market now people often ask what does that even mean they don't know that term shorting the market simply means that you can sell stock legally the same way you're borrowing money from a bank for a loan you pay some interest back but you can participate to the downside and just imagine that if you had been on that side of the trade the right side whereas the market was falling you're making income you could be doing that over and over again and that's what we really teach our students here that there's multiple ways to make income and that time is relevant you know they only have so much time in the day in their lives right now how about learning a skill that can really change their lives and make a difference absolutely and that's one of the key things is really getting that education and understanding how to go in and do that not know not just sitting back and kind of riding the waves of the market and so many times you hear the markets described that way as an ocean currents and waves and the thing i'm always talking with our students about even remember having this conversation with my father years ago you don't have to write it down just to write to ride it back up there's no there's no rule that says you have to go down with the market in order to come back up now in real estate they say the three rules real estate are location location location well the three rules inside of the financial markets are timing timing timing it's being able to identify when you buy and being able to identify the appropriate time to sell because nobody would argue that the strategy or the key to making money in the markets as buy low sell high it's just the average individual doesn't know how to time the markets and that really boils down to because the average individual has never been trained to identify these turning points but that's one of the things we do out at the half day class we've got half day classes going on all over the place right now and we've got a few passes we could give away but i got a clear it with larry larry's we do give away let's do it at i always make sure i get permission right so one of the things we want to do is we're going to give away a few passes of the half day classes they're coming up in your area the half day class they're usually about three.
ty cobb is out and emmet flood is in
"To hire veteran washington lawyer emmett flood who represented bill clinton during his impeachment to replace tie cobb according to the new new york times joining me larry lieber bloomberg news national security editor larry yet another shakeup in the trump legal team does the fact that it's the attorney who handled the impeachment for bill clinton signal anything well the white house isn't confirming the appointment yet but there's been a lot of talk about it as you said the times is reporting it i think it does signal first of all they'd get someone who is clearly an expert on the constitutional prerogatives of president and that would suggest someone who could help him limit or resist the interview with robert muller muller is seeking or to fight the potential subpoenaed appear before a grand jury he represented bill clinton matter he represented president george w bush in congressional inquires including an investigation of firing of seven us attorney so he would be a that sort of player ty cobb who left or is departing they're saying it's a sort of a normal retirement time for him but ty cobb was among those who had urged cooperation with the mueller investigation so we might be seeing a switch the president's tweets and otherwise suggesting that he's digging in and his legal advisors may be prepared to dig in let's listen to tie cobb as he talked about that possible interview with the president is certainly not off the table and people are working hard to make decisions and toward an interview that was from abc's powerhouse powerhouse podcast larry we talked you talked about emmett flood and during kenneth starr's investigation of president bill clinton prosecutors subpoenaed the president for a grand jury testimony and clinton's lawyers i assume emmett flood being among them agreed to let clinton appeared before the grand jury without a subpoena so is he really going to fight that hard when he's been down that path before apparently perjure himself by in regard to is relations with monica lewinsky that went off in a totally different direction which in the end maybe a cautionary you know on on side questions on your candor on where questions like this may lead so i'm not sure what lessons exhibit flood took from that but he is someone who clearly knows the presidential prerogatives and the debate over how to assert them because he he also represented george w bush and george w bush also testified or talk to special counsel so it seems as if perhaps he knows the lay of the land very well so larry explain how what role he's going to have as far as rudy giuliani who just joined the team a couple of weeks ago one of the things dow again assuming that it's good that he's going to sue me he takes tai carb's role technically tie cobb wasn't an unlike giuliani and others wasn't the president's personal attorney he represented the white house and the institution and a lot of that duty involves a responding or sometimes refusing respond to requests for documents and other duties of the office of the president but it's still a key role and so we may see him as a real player we may not see him negotiating directly with robert muller that may be handled by the president's personal attorneys but it's clear about whoever comes into that position and it looks like it will be at flood we'll be playing a very key role in what's what's right it's still a team in some turmoil and still a very small team it does appear as we've discussed that here is an attorney who doesn't who does have constitutional analogy of the issues involved and he's worked for presidents of both parties so he may be defending the principle as he sees it of a president's power more than the individual he certainly wellqualified by any standard that you that you measure an attorney by let's talk about the ratcheting up of the conversation this week about robert muller muller's interview of president trump or proposed interview of president trump and the possibility of a subpoena have you noticed how all of a sudden we've come from negotiating an interview to issuing a subpoena because of various news reports right in the reports though also suggest there's a lot going on here a by the president's attorneys advice visors aides to shape not only the public but his view you know the new york times published a list of questions from from what we understand the personal didn't come from all our has been very close mouthed but secondly it wasn't literally a list produced by muller it was list produced by trump's attorneys summarizing the issues that muller had discussed with them and the fact that came out suggests that maybe they were trying to push the president to some resolution which he digs in doesn't sit down for what could be an interview that would backfire so there's a lot going on behind the scenes and we're left f fortunately or unfortunately we're left to speculate but i sometimes are speculation has been right on the money is certainly yours is thanks so much larry larry lieber bloomberg news national security editor coming up on
