"Let's go right back to those phone lines. Larry Kelly is calling in from right here in Orlando. He's got an oath seven Santa Fe. What's going on? Kelli. Hey, larry. Yes. My daughter is vehicle and she lives in Fort Myers. I live here in Orlando. And for the last couple of years her Santa Fe when she accelerates her driver's side door, lock just clicks. And then, you know, after quite a few clicks, she says finally stopped. But it drives her crazy because every time she comes to a stop. And then exceleron just continues to always click. Click click suggestion. Kelly. I'm gonna tell you what normally happens when you have a situation like that. Hazard door locks seem to be working when she wants. She uses a manually inside the car. Will it automatically lock when she celebrates then. Yeah. I think that that's okay. Well, what I'm saying is if she uses a remote, or whatever, I mean is the door lock opening and closing is is it unlocking and locking. I can't remember I don't remember her telling me that she has to you. Okay. That's that's fine. Let's listen Kelly. Let me tell you when you have a vehicle, and I'm putting you down because we have a little bit of a rough connection windy. It sounds like. Yeah. Yeah. The this situation. If you've got something that move, Matt causes some other type of reaction. You know that when she accelerates if if if if it's causing well anything from the car stalling or doing something weird to an electrical issue. Something has to be moving when you apply force to the vehicle and she's accelerating going forward. What that's telling me is. There is a real good possibility that there is like maybe some water in the master switch on the driver's door. And what's happening is is when she accelerates there's some water that's in this master switch that is rolling back, and it's causing a connections to where it's activating the door locks and see when you when you're dealing with a door, depending on how it's made and sealed from the factory when it rains, you know, you get water. Down inside these doors, and then it gets a little warm outside. And you got this humidity factor that takes place inside the.

"Use network. Once again, here's your host, Eric D, N Randy Renner. All righty, Eric. Let's start with you. There's a lot of things going on with the university of Oklahoma. Yes. And. This afternoon. Cuyler Murray will become the seventh Heisman winner in university of Oklahoma history. I'm just going to go ahead and say it now I will be shocked if Carla Murray isn't the Heisman winner when all is said and done today. Randy. And this bothers me this bothers me because it took until the last week of the year for Cuyler Murray to end up winning the Heisman or the last week of the college football season. And the reason I say that isn't because I'm mad at voters for just figuring out. Now that Kyle Murray is the best player in college football and not to attack a by Loa. It upsets me because the Heisman is supposed to be about a body of work and what the Heisman Trophy has become is all about championship weekend. So honestly, the voters I have the least amount of problems with are the ones that turn their ballot in early because I kind of feel like they're saying this is an. Overall body of work, and even if they all voted for to attack by low. I don't have an issue with that. Because that's your opinion on who's best. But they're saying this is about an overall body of work, and I don't want one week to change be an honestly, look, I'll be completely transparent. I did that one year as a Heisman voter because I got tired of getting swayed by that last game of the year, and I ended up voting Colt McCoy number one win. Honestly, had I waited one more week probably would have been Dominic ensue. But. It's just that's the problem that we've got with this award right now is that it all boils down to this one week, and you can have maybe not an okay year and still win it in championship week. But you can certainly bolt yourself into contention. And I think we gotta remember what the spirit of this ward is award is about we've got to remember. It's a subjective award. And I also would encourage voters that if you're covering one particular conference, and you think somebody in that conference is deserving even if he's not getting the pub on ESPN, go ahead and vote your conscience because that's what this award is therefore, and we've made it something completely different. Well, I'm I'm on a different page with this. Then then you I mean, you're you're mentioning the body of work. We probably need to see that that last game championship game to finish out the body of work and in this day and age when everybody is emailing their vote or putting. Intellect chronically. I don't have. I don't have a problem at all with people not voting until all the championship games are done. Now, you already have in your mind that, hey, I'm voting for Colin Murray and to be fully transparent. If I had a Heisman vote it would be for Tyler Murray. I think he's been better than to attack of Ola and will Greer and Haskins whoever else you want to put in there. I don't have a problem with waiting waiting till the end, see all the games. I don't I don't necessarily have a problem. I guess I just don't like that one week swaying your vote, especially in to attack by Lois case, and I don't want to sound like an Alabama Homer year. But I'm going to is that he gets hurt in his game. And. But he got hurt. He wasn't playing particularly great though. But if you, but but if you're a voter and all year long you had him. And then all of a sudden you decided not to vote for him because he got hurt. I that's that's suspect to me. I if you're asking me, but just a little Heisman history. Grandy if you don't count oh four zero five when Matt liner and Reggie Bush it back to back. The last time we saw teammates when it back to back, or at least two different guys from the same school were doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis from army that was in one thousand nine hundred forty four and nineteen Forty-five if you don't count Archie Griffin's back to back years than prior to doc Blanchard in Glenn Davis. It was Larry Kelly and Clinton Frank of that powerhouse Yale. What it back to back? And I'm just you know, I will admit throughout the year. Maybe once twice five six times when I've walked out of a no you. Press conference. I've scouted the land to see where they would put Baker Mayfield and Cuyler Murray statues. I may I may have done that may or may have had some may may may have tried to figure out where they were gonna put them because I was completely convinced that by the time that it all always said and done Cuyler Murray was gonna win. And I look I give a Keiler Murray made the most boss move this week when he found out and how where he was when he found out that he was Heisman nominated so one just listen to how humble this kid is and how somewhat overwhelmed he is by being named the Heisman finalists. But listen at the end to find out where Kyle Murray was when he found out. Yes..

"What about the fighting? It's both these guys are transfers to. Yeah. Yeah. That's that's a great point too. But it says a lot about Lincoln Riley. And I think he's a guy that a lot of NFL teams certainly should be looking at as the NFL shifts more and more to offensive minded football in the passing game Lincoln Riley should be at the top of a lot of teams wishlists for head coach nineteen Forty-five. Doc Blanchard wins the MVP as a fullback for army and nineteen Forty-six. Glenn davis. Glenn, Dave halfback. Lynn davis. Not the same guy who played for the Astros in his rookie card. I spent way too much for as a kid. My brothers swindled me. But that's a different story. The first base solid stash. The brothers. Yeah. We don't wanna hear that out. But yeah, doc Blanchard is the only one I remember. Yeah. Larry Kelley and Clint Frank for year went back to back in nineteen thirty six and thirty seven. Larry Kelly's position and that was it. And I don't know what that's offense defense a Masumi. It's offense. I'd say football has evolved a little bit since then right back then back then there were lower odds for halfbacks and running backs and ends. I think nowadays you're gonna juice the running backs in terms of that. We don't see too many ends in the Heisman Trophy race. The smoky these quarterbacks what's your biggest liability on Murray or or to to is the biggest too. I know I know what single ticket. Oh single ticket. We have one guy. I think I may have mentioned it on the show a guy came in in late June anyb- at twenty two hundred bucks onto it twelve to one so say that he has a twelve to one for twenty two hundred. Yeah. And remember, I if you think back that far Nick Sabin was still pretending like he didn't know which quarterback he was going to go with between two and hurts. And that was why was to is odds drifted up a little bit. And then there was some where there's another guy that got down at ten to one. And then there's some really bigger bets guys were laying prices once wants the money shifted to where he was favored. We had a guy bed. I think twenty seven thousand two wins fifteen guy bet about almost thirty thousand at minus one eighty I don't remember the exact figures, but there's some there's some pretty big bets in their tour for. Sure. I love it visas serious accident. Now, you've already taken some college football sharp bets anything you can pass along. We're going to do a regular college football podcast next week naming any of those early action. Yeah. There's a little bit of stuff in there from some players, I respect. Now. It's not on the it's not on a playoff games. It's not on the two college football playoff games yet. But there's been some money come in on Auburn against Purdue in the music city bowl. Not sure how you feel about that game. But produce the money there are some money on Arkansas state. They were a pick em against Nevada that that's the air zone. -able that game actually starts at two thirty on the day of the college football playoff. So only the gamblers will be watching that many times clock. Yeah. So yeah. And then for Jinya tech Virginia Tech catching six points against Cincinnati. That's in the military bowl. That's on New Year's Eve. You know, Virginia Tech they beat UVA. And then they scheduled a game against Marshall to get bowl eligible. They won that game too. That's the only reason they continued their their long streak of playing in a bowl game. We saw sharp group take the points on them against Cincinnati. Yeah. That was a that was a blowout. Virginia Tech to get all eligible, and there was terrible weather in that game. So it was an interesting watch in of itself. One of our bigger bigger decisions of the day actually on Saturday. We had a guy make a really big bet on Marshall. And we won quite a bit on the hokies in that game. That was really good game for us double digit favorites in the college football playoff, both Clemson and Alabama for some we've seen that in both semi-final games in the brief history of the playoff..
