Trish Is Calling Out the Democrats
"Can't say we're going to pump $6 trillion in. Also, hey, a few more chilling and over here in a few more trillion over there. And some more stimulus relief checks and expect and expect that it's not going to have an inflationary effect. Unbelievable, highly irresponsible of all of these people, Larry summers came out with an op-ed. Maybe about a year ago in the Washington Post was highly criticized by his own party to the point where he had to go back and then write another one sort of explaining because people were so appalled. In other words, get with the program, buddy, it's all about printing more money and giving out more handouts. Handouts, which really don't work. For goodness sakes, we've got American struggling with prices at the gas pumps struggling to feed their families, and yet the answer is to send helicopter money to Vassar grads that are studying, I don't know, philosophy and all those great things. In other words, they have made so many mistakes. And they want to cover up these mistakes because all they care about is getting reelected. And this is what is so dangerous to our country right now. It needs to be more than just getting reelected. We're talking about people's futures. We're talking about countries future. We're talking about our economy, which is so fundamental to everything else that we do. And yet they're willing to be so irresponsible all in the name of hopefully getting elected again, which by the way will cost them the election. Because if we had had a growing economy in less inflation and low gas prices, guess what? They'd have a heck of a better shot going into November than they do right now.
Investor Neil Grossman Reacts to Larry Summers' Latest Comments
"Interestingly enough, speaking of economists that tend to have political views, you've got Larry summers out there, and now I'm going to play for you some sound he's at it, Aspen, just a few days ago at the festival there. Basically saying, what the heck happened? We had it going well. And then this. Here he is. We basically had inflation under control for 40 years, despite the fact that the price of oil fluctuated despite the fact that there were all kinds of supply shocks. We lost the thread along with many other countries about a year and a half ago with massively expansionary policies. Okay, so there you go. It's what you're saying, right? They just spent too much money. They lost the friend in my view a lot longer ago than 18 months. This is interesting, explain, explain. Look, the Central Bank of the United States is not a Central Bank, or it wasn't, and it's coming back to maybe to home. But it became a central asset manager. The basic premise became making sure asset markets were supported and bailed out more than anything else. This fed and will even misses Yellen. If you went through a normal risk return analysis, you cut off half of the probability distribution that's wrong. You're always going to be right. You think. They didn't want to consider the consequences. And when you overlay reality in the probability distribution and have to acknowledge that there's a risk, you take policy action earlier to address those potential risks. You've got, you know what? I call it ostrich economics. They stuck their head in the ground. Prayed it would go away. And all it did was get worse and they kept, you know, they came up with acronym or added J after our transitory was just a bad answer. I know, but it was a big word, though. It sounded good.
Why Smart Investing Doesn't Include the Headlines
"Larry Fink tells you the most common mistake being made right now. You offered up to them. Is it, are they investing in too much one thing, or are they relying on headlines, Fink picks headlines and said, they may be making that mistake right now. We get accustomed to an economic environment we assume that environment will last forever. First question, how much do you let the day to today news cycle impact your investments? Well, it doesn't affect me that much because I'm in the long-term business, but obviously you don't like to see headlines about the stock market going down. But the truth is the biggest mistake that investors generally make is when markets are going up, they rush into buy stocks and when markets are going down, they rush to sell what they have. That's the opposite of what you should do. Right now, markets are depressed. There's no doubt about it. But markets always come back in this country. And if you hold on for a while you avoid the transaction costs and the taxes associated with selling things. So I think it's better not to look at the newspaper headlines every half hour and worry about the markets going up and down. Warren Buffett is not sitting there worrying about the stock market going up and down.
'Darkness at Noon' Is a Very Powerful Book
"From Michigan, says Charlie, you've been plugging darkness at noon. I've been reading it, there's a lot there, are you going to do a whole show on it? Yes, I have been pestering the great Jack posobiec to finish it. So he could get on the program. We kind of go through chapters here on this program where I really focus on certain books and darkness at noon is a very, very powerful book. It's not an easy read. If you want to get a picture of totalitarianism from a different angle, it is unlike any other book, 84, 1984 is the best. It really is. But then I have to say, darkness at noon is all about the Moscow show trials and about how the regime eventually eats itself. It's very, very, it's brilliantly written because it's from Arthur koestler, Kursk, Kessler, depends how you pronounce it. There's a disagreement happening. Let's just say Kessler for time's sake. And he used to be accused to be a communist and he wrote this entire thing really going after Stalin. And it shows the mentality, the philosophy, the brutality, the brutality of it. Doctor Larry yarn from the great hillsdale college recommended I read it and I did and we had a great meeting about it actually. One of the things that I did when I was at hillsdale is I just sat down with Larry doctor Larry arn and we talked about it for an hour about what's behind it, with the takeaways are the applications that today. Obviously, he's a great teacher. He's saw things and taught me things I missed completely. And so the next book I'm reading because I'm really into uplifting literature right now is the dystopian novel Brave New World. Which is, which is just great. And well, it's not great in the sense that it's actually very dark, but I think we're actually living through a Huxley and moment more than anything else.
Dave Bratt Weighs in on Larry Summers' Latest Comments
"Out there called Larry summers who is rather outspoken when it comes to what's happened in the last year and a half in America and we have our eminence Greece when it comes to the national economy. He is the dean of the business school at Liberty University. Dave brat from a congressman from Virginia. I'd like you to react to this rather outspoken little clip from Larry summer, play cut. We basically had inflation under control for 40 years, despite the fact that the price of oil fluctuated despite the fact that there were all kinds of supply shocks. We lost the thread along with many other countries. About a year and a half ago with massively expansionary policies, relative to the size of the GDP gap, he's not backing down, Dave, I think he's going to be deported off Martha's Vineyard as well. So give us your reaction to that little clip. Yeah, well, he is a genius intellectually, right? Larry sorry, he's ahead of Harvard and the head of the World Bank for a while. All these kind of things. He's got the pedigree. He's got the brain. He can write the top journal articles and all that. But what's noticeably striking about that clip is that it's really the first time he mentioned the fiscal overreach on the stimulus. All these guys kind of wait until the obvious, right? So now the shoe has dropped. Markets are freaking out. England had Armageddon and would have had a sovereign debt crisis yesterday. If they wouldn't have weighed in on the long term, whatever they call them over there, bonds. The bonds. And so it's good he's saying it. The left still isn't saying it. He's
Phil Schwenk: Focused on Students, Not Fake News
"Controversy involves a television station out of Nashville news channel 5 and this is the headline and this will be the launching off point for our conversation. Hillsdale president Larry Arne, who I know. Hillsdale president Larry arn says racism is like sexuality neither should be discussed in the classroom. Now, you guys have been really subjected to a lot of fake news and a lot of smears and slanders by the media in Tennessee. What's going on here? What's the problem? Well, I think you summarized it and what you said. A lot of what we're seeing in the media is false. And it's not true to the work that we're doing in our schools and the hope for our schools. We're very much focused on kids and their education and the classical setting. So a lot of these headlines move away from what our actual causes. We care deeply about kids and their education. So when you start turning into a political commentary about Larry Arne, it's the president hillsdale and issues around racism and sexuality. You're kind of missing some of the core things that we're trying to do and that's established schools for a kids that are 5 to 18 years old in Tennessee. Now,
Jared Bernstein: Analysts Ignore the Restart of Student Loan Payments
"Take a listen to this cut 14 go It's been a brutal couple of weeks for the market obviously Awful inflation numbers Now the likelihood of a hard landing maybe even a global recession according to some The student loan forgiveness in the middle of all this adding hundreds of billions even a $1 trillion to the demand side Doesn't that make the fed's job even more difficult your allies Larry summers Jason Furman both warned that that's a problem The president once again bowing to the far left Does that justify increasing demand in making things worse right at this time Jared I know you know it's no way you can sell this to me with a straightforward Wait a second Let me try the following because this is a fact that I is not reflected in the rap you just gave me Did you ask And if you ask Jason and Larry about this I think they'll agree You should try and find out for yourself Okay The thing you left out was restart that is restarting student loan payments which of course have been in forbearance since the pandemic began That begins in January And if you actually look at the numbers month by month the amount of restart even with debt forgiveness basically offsets the amount Let me see if I can understand this This is the game You ready
How Chad Jackson Got Involved With 'Uncle Tom 2'
"Back with Chad Jackson follow him right now on Twitter at Chad O Jackson. He is co producer, co writer for the amazing sequel to Larry elders, Uncle Tom, it's called Uncle Tom two. Chad, you were a kind of star, I think, very early on in the original movie. It focused on your story as a successful self made man in the entrepreneur who didn't see himself as a vector because of his skin color. How did you transition to being a co producer and co writer for the sequel? I'm curious. That's a great question. And just to kind of close out the last thought that I was making. So, Stokely Carmichael, he said, oh, sorry, no, yes, yes. So let's go back to Stokely Carmichael, NAACP. Give us that historic nugget that most people have forgotten. Yeah, so Stokely Carmichael admitted in the 90s and we have video footage of this. In fact, it's an Uncle Tom two, where he said that he was part of that agenda to impress the term African hyphen American on the black folks and what he'd had in mind is if you think you are an American, you'll fight to preserve and to conserve capitalist America. However, if you know you're not an American, you'll fight to destroy America. And he was absolutely right. I mean, look at the riots, look at the fact that a lot of these egalitarian socialist programs that are being pushed in this country, they're using black people to do it. And it's unfortunate what's happening, but it was important to showcase that in the film, to your question about how I got involved in Uncle Tom two. As you mentioned, I was running my business here in Dallas, Texas, my business is still active. We're still going. We're still taking care of our customers. But I am a natural researcher. If something interests me, I'm going to obsess over. I'm going to dig deep into it and find out everything I can about it.
Why Is a White Soviet Defector in 'Uncle Tom 2'? Chad Jackson Explains
"We're delighted to have with us the man who wrote that book starred, wrote that movie director of it, tra Jackson, welcome back to America first. Hey, doctor G, thank you for having me on. So I told you privately, I'm going to say it now again in front of all of our listeners. This movie from Larry elder in you guys is even better than the original Uncle Tom. If you haven't seen it, I'm sorry you're missing out. I don't care that it's on our website. It is that important. But why is a Soviet white Soviet defector in your movie explain the relevance of that besman off clip? Well, as he says in that clip, the name of the game was demoralization. And really what they were able to do were to demoralize all of America. Black activists were just in and amongst this whole umbrella of demoralization that took place in our country. And so as our title suggests, the film isn't just about black America, it's about America at large. That's why we call it an American Odyssey because we wanted to demonstrate how Marxism this disease has infected all of America and it reaches its peak in the 1960s, which is around the time that Yuri is talking about
Todd Bensman on New Book 'Overrun' and the Border Crisis
"Have a new book out. And I just want to read the full title. So you can explain why you gave it that full title. So it's called overrun. And the subtitle is how Joe Biden unleashed the greatest border crisis in U.S. history. Now, that's not just a way to sell books. That is just an empirical statement. It's just math, correct? That's correct. You know, listen, if you want to get past partisanship, go to the CBP customs and border protection website and look at their statistics. We are, we just passed 2.15 million apprehensions in a single fiscal year. Let's stop there. So 2.1 million in the fiscal year under a Biden. You said the word apprehensions. Now, number one, it's not an apprehension because they let them go. And number two, 2.1 million that we know of, correct, Tom. Well, there are probably an additional million got aways. So the numbers are just astounding. I mean, we haven't had numbers like this in any time in U.S. history. This is a place beyond all American experience. We have just even this blows Ellis island away. This is the greatest immigration event in the U.S. history, even taking into account population differences from in the early 20th century to now. And this is illegal immigration. This is just over the southern border. Ellis island, at least, was legal, like we understood what we were doing, and we knew who they were. And we knew who were they were at least somewhat and testing them for different diseases. And we didn't like, they didn't hit our criteria. We would send them back on the ships. And we knew who they were.
Why Does NO ONE Remember Black Wall Street? Larry Elder Explains
"Here's the big question. Now, it's a surprise to me because I didn't grow up in the 1930s in Harlow. I don't know what black Wall Street is, but how the hell did they manage to deep 6 this memory from black America? How do they manage to allow black Americans to just burn the hard drive of the prosperity? They lived in. It's a great question. You know, I was watching the Super Bowl last year. And there was a commercial Citigroup commercial. And black guys walking down the hall and he's talking about the Tulsa massacre of 1921. What he didn't tell you and what we explore in Uncle Tom two is that that area that became known as black Wall Street after it got rebuilt was we built within a matter of a few years bigger and better than before without a dime of government money. So the idea that there was some prosperity until the white man big footed everything and then we were back to slavery down the line. And it wasn't, as I said, even called black Wall Street until after it was rebuilt better than ever.
Larry Elder and Sebastian Discusses the Rare Footage in 'Uncle Tom 2'
"Really kind of punched me in the gut with this movie is just the first four minutes just the footage that your guys found black families in the 30 40s and 50s, just the opulence, the prosperity, the elegance, the self confidence oozing out of two dimensional pictures and black and white, home movies, and look, I'm a white dude who's an immigrant to America. I was pissed of what's happened to that community in America. How did you guys just find that footage? Well, it was the director, Justin Malone, who's just an brilliant director. And our composer's name is Damon Chris well. He scored both movies. And again, it gave you kind of the atmosphere of the whole thing. But you're quite right. Even after black's emerged from slavery, when we were talking about lynchings and KKK and Jim Crow, black people still kept moving forward. Why? Strong nuclear intact family. It was rare for a black kid to be born into a world without his father married to the mother. A strong belief in patriotism, believe it or not, you read the speeches by people like Frederick Douglas Booker T. Washington, the riddled with praise for American values. Judeo Christian values and a belief in entrepreneurship. And Uncle Tom two talks about what's happened. How did the righteous civil rights movement get hijacked by these leftists, Democrats, socialists, collectivists, and marxists who want to dethrone God, marks, of course, was an atheist and on the website a Black Lives Matter. We talk a lot about Black Lives Matter and Uncle Tom too. They attack the nuclear family and Karl Marx hated capitalism, let alone entrepreneurship, so the very things that made black people and able to endure in the face of horrific obstacles. God, family, American values, and entrepreneurship are all under attack right now by people like Barack Obama who said America has racism in its DNA.
Sebastian Talks to Russian-Born U.S. Intel Expert Rebekah Koffler
"Back with Rebecca cough. She is the author of a former senior DIA expert on Russia. Jim carfano of heritage tweeted out early today and I retweeted it. If you look at what is it, the 27 28 members of NATO, the highest commitment of aid to Ukraine by members of NATO as a percentage of GDP are the Baltic states and Poland. Isn't that interesting? The states that were under the boot of the Soviet Union are invaded themselves. They're the ones helping out the Ukraine the most. Isn't that telling? Absolutely, and it's always been that way. Sebastian, I even when I was in the community, you know, the people who are very responsive and helpful, they assist us tremendously because they are right there in the theater. They gathered and not Germany. Germany's in bed with Moscow with the Gerhard shredder being one of the CEOs of Gazprom. Exactly. You're going to leave our studio. You've been doing media all day. You said you're going to go if you're going to write an analytic piece, talking about scenarios. So people need to read your article, but first, not nuking America because he's not insane. He's not suicidal. But what's scenarios under which could Putin consider using the low threshold low yield tactical nukes. Give us some examples. So we're exactly right now in this scenario Sebastian for which, on Putin's orders, this doctrine was developed in the first place, escalated to deescalate and scenarios this Putin is losing on the battlefield. And he is cornered.
Charlie Welcomes Salem Radio Colleague, Officer Brandon Tatum
"Joining us now is a great patriot and a colleague on the Salem radio network, his show is doing very, very well. You can hear all across the country as he does a fabulous show every night. It's Brandon Tatum. Brandon, welcome back to the program. Charlie, thank you for having me on. Loving the radio show, man. Listening to it, almost every night when I'm driving around and Karen and Larry elder's legacy. Tell us about the film. Uncle Tom two. The Uncle Tom too, I think is a tremendous film that tells the true history of Americans of African descent. And it digs into the nuances of how marxists individuals in our country, namely the leaders of BLM are literally taken the black community down the drain and having this anti American theology that's causing individuals who are black in this country to hate America to feel like a perpetual victim and those things are detriments and we have to change those and Uncle Tom two kind of expressed the avenue in which we can go about changing some of the things that are going on in our country and really espousing success and Victor or success and allowing us to be big tours moving forward.
What's Going on With the FBI?
"There's something that the FBI is up to. Something that the FBI is up to, and there's some dirt that the FBI has been doing for quite some time, and that's why I say screw the FBI. I didn't commit suicide on the way home. I want you guys to know that right off the bat. But the FBI isn't the institution that we thought it was, at least it isn't any longer. Unfortunately, the FBI was a law enforcement. They were a law enforcement agency, primarily, and then they switched over to counter intelligence as a result of 9 11 or subsequent to 9 11, and the Patriot Act, and this has really messed things up. Big time. Big time. And so now I no longer am a fan of the FBI and you know what? One of the people that I must admit I really love listening to really good on this is Dan bongino when I have an opportunity to listen to him because he talks about it from a law enforcement perspective. I'm talking about it from a born again saved. All right, but former former little wannabe thug. I can talk to you about it from a former criminals perspective. You want everybody to respect law enforcement. You want law enforcement to respect the law enforcement and the rule of law. You want criminals to understand that there are limitations or there are consequences to the actions everyone needs to respect law enforcement. But those that are given the sword of justice, if you will, need to be, especially moral. Good, decent people.
Can Blacks Be Racists?
"I wrote a column on this nonsense several years ago for town hall dot com explaining can blacks be racist. Honestly, you really have to be a despicable human being to say, I hate to be so blunt, but sometimes you just gotta be blunt. You have to be a despicable human being that says, because of the color of or dumb. Because of the color of my skin, if I hate somebody because of the color of their skin, I can't be racist. I mean, because I have no one because I have no institutional power. You know where that nonsense, I remember Jesse Jackson, I believe when I was a kid, I heard him say that for the first time. And I actually believe that crap too for a very short period of time. And then you think through it, and if you're a person of faith and you actually read the Bible, not just say you're a person of faith, but you actually read the Bible, you realize that that's dumb as hell.
Democrats Have Forgotten the Forgotten Man
"So have you guys heard of it the same way as Versailles, but it's not Versailles, Versailles, Pennsylvania. Or bird sales Ohio. For cells, Kentucky. I had never heard of these places and their spell just like Versailles, but they have nothing in common with the palace that for centuries, symbolized the ruling class that was deeply out of sync with their people with the rest of its nation. So there's Ohio, there's Kentucky. Again, there's also Pennsylvania. Selena zito writes about this. There's a verse right here in western Pennsylvania that she discusses that she talks about. That's her neck of the Woods. When it comes to Ohio, there's a historic little village that is known as her sales when it comes to Kentucky. It's bourbon country, according to Selena zito, and it's also the epicenter of American horse breeding. Very interesting. I want to take you back to Biden celebration of the economy. Remember that big celebration they had at The White House James Taylor was there. They were getting their groove on, celebrating the inflation reduction act, the very same time, literally while they were celebrating the stock market was straight up plunging. Inflation, then we got news that inflation was basically remaining steady, Biden was talking about it's only an inch, you know, 8.8 .28 .3. It's a, you know, it's only it's only an inch. We talked about that some yesterday. But what Selena zito is telling us is how far out of touch when she goes out and speaks to the people and gets the pulse of the people to come and man. The Democrat party that used to proclaim that they are the party of the working class that they are the party of Middle America are simply out of touch.
Who Is the Sellout?
"Whenever I'm on air and I can't address this in stories like this pop up. I'm always one here's what I fake racism, real racism, perceived racism. Real racism is what our ancestors experience. What many fought fought against in the civil rights. Fake racism, CRT, perceived racism, idiots like this, like this khalisa wing who now believe because she's been brainwashed by the left that anything a white person says to her is probably racist and of course she believes that black people can't be racist. Here's the problem with that inrix, ignorance. And I feel compelled to talk about this just swiftly here. It is dumb as hell to say that black people can't be racist. If you're a black person that says that you can not be racist, that is a very dumb thing to say. Let me tell you why. Because where do you get the moral authority to say such a thing? To say such a stupid thing, is it you that judges your heart when you die? Is it the black community? See, this is why when people say Carla, you're a sellout in your uncle. I'm like, shut up. It's not like you're gonna be judging me. It's got that I gotta stand before. And by the way, please don't call me a sellout when you're the one. You're the black face of white Marxism.

Welcome to the Eric metaxas show with your host, Eric the Texas. Oh boy, it's back to school, Alvin. It's back to I love it. I love it. It feels like that for me. Now, folks, today is Tuesday. It's the day after Labor Day. And I just want to say, I've got a lot to say. And I hope we can squeeze it into the first few minutes here. Because we have coming up today, my friend Larry Taunton is going to be talking about the satanic evil of Joe Biden. Now, I say that in love. Yeah, of course. But his most recent speech spewing fascist divisive things like that. I consider that a bad thing. And so we're going to talk about that with Larry Taunton, also later this week. We're going to discuss the same satanic did I say Joe Biden was satanic. I don't think you would. Please. Please, please. Tone it down. You know what it is. It's all that Mike lindell coffee. It got to be. The Mike lindell. Folks, if you go to my store dot com and use the code Eric. And you drink some of this Mike lindell coffee. It's like a cup of heroism. It gives you courage. It's just wake you up. It just makes you say crazy, beautiful things. And but you got to use the code Eric. You're getting into work because it's just coffee. But you go to my store. And you get the Mike lindell coffee, but I want to say, there's so much to talk about. I want to talk about last week. I had a quote unquote vacation this weekend was Labor Day. I want to talk to you about Labor Day. I saw, I already told you about one of the gigantic beasts that I saw with my own eyes. I told you about that last week if you're listening to the program. But I want to tell you about another beast that I saw a couple of days ago. And I'm not kidding. This was absolutely transcendent, magnificent, that's why you need to get out, folks. I don't know where you are, but you need to get out in the Woods or someplace. There's a lot of animals out there. Yes. Now, if you're in the Woods, you're not going to see a whale. But you might see other creatures. So I want to talk about that in a second. Let's just focus in a couple of minutes. We have our friend Larry Taunton, who's talking talking about where we are politically. In our two, we have doctor Irwin lutzer. Folks, he has written a book. I couldn't, I can't say this when he's on the program really. But when I wrote my book letter to the American church, I took a certain tack. I don't get into, I don't get into specifics. I'm trying to take a more of an overview of the silence of the church and how it's leading us, I don't know what's a good word hell to hell. It's leading us in a bad direction. Hell is not too strong if you think about what happened to the German church because of their silence. But doctor lutzer gets into specifics in his new book. So we're going to be talking to him. Tomorrow, we have doctor Jonathan Khan rabbi, Jonathan Khan on the program. We've got Billy hollowell coming up. We've got the folks from the Babylon bee coming up this week. And then most chilling of all votes to Thomas. Votes. Maybe tomorrow we're going to get votes through Damascus, but his turban is at the cleaners. No, you got polished that up. And he's a seer and I don't know if he's a necromancer. And of course, we're going to have John Smyrna also. Well, we know we're going to have some earrings. Of course, by the way, wrote a piece. I posted it on social media today. Yeah. Is mirac wrote a piece about the uselessness of people like Bill Barr William Barr. And there are a lot of folks like this out there. They seem to understand everything, but do nothing about it. So we're going to be talking about that. It's something you don't know about. I was interviewed by the standing for freedom center, Ryan huff and bind. He interviewed me over a weekend a week, and that's going to be posted sometime, I think, this week. An interview he wanted to interview. The man behind the man..

"Pick up right here. We'll be right back folks more with Larry Taunton, very important conversation. Don't go away. Hey there folks, I'm talking to Larry Alex Taunton, Larry, you were just now making a larger point about how the left today, the Marxist left is trying to demonize good people and really doesn't seem to care about those people. They talk a lot about caring about people. And the fact of the matter is, when you look at it, it's kind of like what we saw with the stalinists, they talk a good game, but they are liars. They are, they are really satanic liars. In fact, muggeridge said, he never knew anyone who lied better than Walter duranty. Walter duranty of The New York Times was a genius in terms of lying. And by the way, I don't know if you knew this, but this is crazy, folks. The man who was a propagandist, working for The New York Times, a propagandist for Stalin. And for the murder of millions, was himself a satanist, like an actual satanist. I spent a lot of time with Alistair. I spent a lot of time with Alistair Crowley, John York. We'll talk about that later in the program if we get him back. But, you know, suddenly you think, well, that makes sense. Yeah, well, you know, now, unfortunately, it's not a Walter duranty. It's entire newsrooms filled with Walter duranty types. Who are pushing the narrative and smear, you've been smeared. I was thinking, how many times, particularly with the Bond hoffer and as you know, my book, the faith of Christopher Hitchens, same thing, we both have been targets of media hits, where I will bet you were just like I was your first time around. I was naive enough to think. Once I get a fair hearing and I'm able to state the truth, they'll go, oh, okay, well, we misread this. We didn't know that. And along the way, you're encountering journalists who off camera are saying to you, I know you didn't say it, but I'm going to try to destroy you anyway. These are the types that we're dealing with anymore. We're truth is made slave to a political agenda. They don't care about truth. That's the startling thing and all of this. Well, and it's important to understand that it makes ideological sense. There are people who believe in truth and love and justice. And there are other people who don't. And it's not that they don't want to. They just don't. And so they go with the next best thing. Power. How can I get what I want? While I am here, like a bug on the planet and then one day I'll be crushed and there's nothing after that. And tell me what to say. Tell me what black square to post where tell me what rainbow flag to post where tell me what to do. Tell me what I need to do to go along to get along because I don't really believe in anything and I just, I just want to be tolerant or I want people to tolerate me. When you see it in the film, mister Jones, how people are willing to look the other way. People are willing to do what's necessary. But the indictment of journalists. That is the darkest part of the film because the character played by Vanessa Kirby. She's kind of pro communist in the beginning. And then she sees what is happening. And you realize we all have to look in the mirror. We all have to ask ourselves ultimately, is there such a thing as truth? What is truth? And in the film, you see some people wake up, some people don't want to wake up. But I think today Larry, I was thinking about journalists today, do they understand that they have a sacred duty to tell the truth and in order to tell the truth, you have to believe there is such a thing, many of them don't. They don't care. I am only talking so much because I know we get to talk to Larry for ten more minutes. Larry don't go away. We're going to drag you into our two folks. "Was just wonderful. Tell us about the substance of the article, the idea. Very important subject folks. Yes, the name of the article is David French, the principal conservative and many of the people who are watching who are listening may or may not know who David French is, but David French wrote for the now wrote for national review for many years now he's chief editor at the dispatch. And he seems to really specialize in criticizing Christians who might have had the nerve to vote for Donald Trump. And I want to be clear, that's going to Christian vote for Donald Trump. That makes no sense. That's crazy. Everybody knows Christians should vote for the pro abortion Biden. Don't everybody, everybody knows that. Before you get too far, in your article, you refer to something, man. I got hot under the collar. You referred to when you were adopting your beautiful daughter, Sasha from the Ukraine. If you don't mind, start with that, because this is I don't want to attack David French, okay? I know David French, but it's the idea he and others have taken what you are sort of ironically referring to as a principal stand. It doesn't strike me as a principal stand. It strikes me as something that wants to be a principle stand in that fails. Tell us just to start. What he said about your adoption of your wonderful daughter who just got married, God bless you. Let me be clear. He didn't personally criticize the adoption of my daughter, Sasha, rather, I was using that as an example of the same type of quote unquote principle conservative. When you're in the process of adopting such a little more than a decade, a go, every Ukrainian government's official that we dealt with Sasha had been abandoned at birth and raised in three different Ukrainian orphanages. Every Ukrainian government official who was involved in the process, we had to bribe, but for one, every single one of them. And when I wrote about this in my book, the grace effect, which you wrote a lovely endorsement for, by the way, there were a number of Christians who said, Larry, I can't believe that you paid bribes. I mean, I would never do that. I mean, if that's what it took to a dog, I would never do that. And I thought, you know, what a monstrous pride that says such a thing. I mean, basically, they were saying that for the sake of their principles, they would deny Sasha a home. Their principles were more important than she was. And the point that I'm simply making in that is I was comparing that in my article about David French to the unborn. Because David French said that he hoped Biden won the election. He wanted to see Biden win the election because he found Donald Trump to be somebody who had no character. He believed that Donald Trump was somebody who he just simply could not abide the thought of Donald Trump winning. And he preferred a person like Joe Biden. Now, to me, this is absolutely astonishing. That anyone who would even make the pretense of being a conservative, much less, a principled Christian conservative, I find it very troubling. But the other thing that I found troubling about this Eric is the fact that French uses scripture to back a positions of this kind. And in so doing, he kind of, you know, he hearkens back to the theocratic days of ancient Israel. And I thought now listen if you're going to make that kind of argument that Donald Trump has to live up to the standards of ancient Israel, theocratic Israel, then how in the world, David French, can you find yourself wanting to see somebody like Joe Biden or one of his favorites, Mitt Romney? You know, who it makes, you know, it was a Mormon. And definitely would not fall under the standards of a king of Israel. These kinds of things. And I've just found to be very dubious arguments, and I have noticed many Christians who have felt very strongly about what French has said, positively or negatively, but those on the negative side who felt like they're ill equipped. Really to fight back. So I thought, I'll do it for you. Okay, let me be clear, to me, it's tragic comedy that my Bonn offer book is selling better than any of my other books because the parallels have become so dramatic it's sick. When you talk about this, we call it virtue signaling today, right? Yeah. Evangelicals have been really criticized for only focusing on themselves. A very selfish view of the gospel that talks about my Salvation, my sensation. My relationship with Jesus and everybody else can go to hell, literally your figuratively. So if you go to the home of a Christian of that ill in Germany and say, are you hiding a Jew in the basement? Do you have any information about Jews? Rather than lie and preserve the life of a human being made in God's image. They would burnish their own moral stature by saying, no, no, no, I don't believe in lying. Go take the Jew kill that you murder the Jew, murder juice family. In other words, it's not the gospel. You are required by God to lie in a case like that, because morally speaking, not lying, is infinitely worse than lying. It doesn't even become a lie. Do you owe the Gestapo the truth about this bun off of rights about this in his ethics book? And this is the issue when somebody says, you know what? Your daughter, Sasha, let her rot in the Ukrainian orphanage. God will take care of her. You have to be clean. Don't ever bribe anybody. Don't ever give money to somebody to get her out to bring her to America so she can have a better life. It makes absolutely no sense. And I just want to be clear folks. This is theological error. We're not coming after David French per se. This is theological error. And if you make a theological error, unfortunately, you're playing into the hands of the devil, who likes to see people rot in orphanages who likes to see an economy in a country like America ruined by somebody like Joe Biden because he happens not to be Donald Trump. We have to be real clear Larry. It's not about David French. You're using him as an example. Unfortunately, he plays. Exactly. Perfectly. But there are many Christians who have this attitude and I salute you my friend for clarifying this in our two today, I'm going to be talking to John smirk about your article because it is.

"It doesn't matter have to have certain characteristics in certain traits that allow them to win one. You gotta approach this. This business a partnership because there's probably going to be ten twelve guys on the team that make more money than you do. So you're not going to be the big fish in the pond right. It's a partnership because you have to talk to and deal with professionals that have the same things in place in their life that you do a wife mortgage bank account kids Sometimes marital issues sometimes like all the things that we deal with us men. We are dealing with the same thing. So you have to approach the partnership. Where i think you have to take it to the next level. Is you have to show the partner that you can make me better. How many times in relationship you hear the husband or the wife say bought spouse deep back okay can urban meyer convinced the players in the deck of your locker room that he's making them better if he does he'll succeed. Tony and a large part of that is going to be trevor on now. I personally think that he's got the wrong offer support. I'm not a fan of their level in schottenheimer. What they're doing there. Because i think that they are. They're still kind living. In ancient times he needs a new innovative authors and coordinated. The kid through what three picks first game he got a bunch so that is not a recipe for a quarterback to succeed. It's no different than anything. Like if i were to have a five year old kid. I'm trying to teach them how to enjoy the game of football. I'm gonna do. I'm gonna. i'm gonna take them out and just play catch with him. I wanna make sure that they have success. I hey catch the ball now i. I'm starting to catch the ball. I feel pretty good. They work transition playing catch with a teammate. They will transition to actually playing football..

"Use it as motivation to go out and have maybe the best year of his career so just because you have one bump in the road. Let's not have revisionist history and say see. I told you it's going to happen again. We're going down the same road again as as players. We don't talk a lot about players money. We don't talk a lot about other guys what they do in the season what they do when you show up to work. I expect you to be a hundred percent committed a hundred percent and until you tell me otherwise until you give me a reason that shows me that you're not and aaron twenty fourteen on i twenty fourteen. The packers star wanted to the world is going crazy The packers are done. He comes out and says relaxed. They go through the rest of the year and the rest is history. So let's see where they go to the. I two three four games of the season before we panic. Because i'm not ready to panic yet. Okay have you ever played on a team where the star player and the coach clearly didn't get along and how does that work or doesn't it matter. It matters if they allow it to spill over onto the field or in the workplace. I'll just outspend this back to you. Tony have you ever been in a company. I work with somebody or being around people who had to work together. That didn't get along and some people didn't know i realized example real real life example. It's been highly publicized. Them highly documented that toward the end of people. That you and i know mike and mike. They weren't quite on the same page at the end of their career. Yes what no. No one ever came out. I didn't know yes because the show was still great. And then when the articles came out everybody was like whoa. We didn't know so it's possible to co at together as long as everyone keeps it professional. Okay that seems fair. Meanwhile let me get back to jameis. Winston jameis winston is a true quarterback. He was the national champion when he was in college. He had thirty interceptions. Because bruce arians. Bruce arians is not sean payton. Don't don't be crazy. People bruce arians go deep all the time. Sean payton will taylor. An offense to a person's talent. Mike crazy and believing the jameis. Winston has a chance to be great this year. Because i believe that you know you're not create. As a matter of fact you and i sharing the brain i think must winston is going to be outstanding. He's going to remind people while he was the first overall pick. And he's gonna dare. I say this tony. He's gonna make people forget about the offense that was under drew brees the last couple of years. And here's what i mean by that. Drew brees hall of fame quarterback one of the greatest ever but the offense was limited the last couple years because he's speaking like what's the ball down the field can do all this. Look at the touchdown pass. The harassed drew brees can't make those. He even said it on football night in america he he he even said he can't make that throw. So sean payton has got to be like i love you through. We had a great run together. We made magic. We want a super bowl. But i can do things now that i haven't been able to a long time and there's nothing more satisfying than when you get a great play. Caller who now has a. Party's playbook that has now reopened. So sean payton is reenergize. I think the confidence is going to be back and and tony. I think that the saints are going to be better than they've been in last two or three years some people say well. I don't know about james. I think james is better quarterback now drew brees was the last two or three years and people don't laugh when i said well let's just watch out plays out. I i agree with you last year. And maybe this year maybe that maybe. The first game was an aberration office per. Couldn't throw the ball ten yards. Downfield cam newton controllable ten yards down the field and that cripples an offense it cripples it jameis.

The car is which is fine right. Because i pay six dollars in tolls all the way with all she does it really sixty dollars tolls total total and so it's an hour and ten minutes then you put your car on the thing right but when you go. You don't necessarily the hamptons. There's like a fork in. I i don the north four south for then. I gotta drive another hour at the end of the day. Six of one half dozen from venice. I mean i see a business opportunity. In greenwich to hamptons ferry service. Danbury airport should be a blade later. Whatever is a blade from the city like. Hey do the blade which would be like five or six hundred bucks. I know that sounds like a ridiculous amount of money. It is kind. It was five hours in the car potentially charge it to the client or whatever. I still gotta drive this the city. I still got a parking space. I know we're crying over gold shoes here but no no the drive to eastern long island from connecticut. It sucks ball twelve years. I've been doing it. Scratch it's a great job and the whole thing. But as i get older i know that sounds like i can't my kid to bed because i can't get home in time and then my wife commute is also eight hours commute. And i got that but in the base model like it's a sport design front bumper and shed you all all the side cladding all that stuff all that and got hounds tooth interior fast. It's normally quick fast faster to do with a five year old in the back but like that's the auburn fat looks awesome iraq's and everything the turbo cross threes mo- that turbo turbo s turbo. These things are not like lineman. You're not like a wide. It's the perfect balance. I thought this was the perfect balance that my two nine are eight. I think it's a perfect balance if you put a twelve minute. You've got to upgrade the brakes. You gotta do it. Starts getting out of wack. If you put more here you got. What did you say that balloon of water squeezing water balloon that something's got this to me was the perfect sweet spot so well and and you save like eighty five thousand dollars or whatever. It is on this stupid. Yeah no. I don't want that one. Yeah so i'm pretty so neptune. Blue collar put the order in two weeks Two months ago filmed it bobble blah and then they. I've never ordered a porsche ever. I've never had a new car. This is my first new car. Like legit like went to the dealership and did the whole thing. Porsche has a system. Where i'm sure you know this may be i know this. Would you sign up. They soon as you give them deposit the whole thing you get a number and then they send you an email and you can see where it is impacting alerts and stuff alerts and says not ready yet not ready yet and now i get it once a week on mondays because i think they must know porsche people because i call my sales guy dude. What's the deal every He says you're going to get an email from porsche. I think to purpose just to spare the salesman. Yeah like what's the deal. Of course they do but after that many months months and so what happens is they put i forget the word they put a hold on it. Correct me it's september fifteenth or sixteen. You're not allowed to change any of the specs. Oh yeah we're locked in. Yeah there's another word that they use it basically it's locked in. You can't change the specs from there. It's x amount of Day so they keep telling me the end of september and i was like and it's moved every month so i'm thinking november issues. Probably only wanna get. And so it's an organization that i really really really loved so you can throw something in the tip jar for food for the poor. That would be absolutely great. Well i tell people go to my website. The radio website metaxas talk dot com taxes. Talk dot com. And you'll see the banner there and if you have anything leftover you wanna go to elect elder dot com larry. I'm serious if you're not elected governor of california. It's lights out it's game over. Caitlyn jenner and john cox. Whatever the they're not you. I would say anybody but gavin newsom but honestly i know you when you said. You're throwing the hat in the ring. This is a very big deal. People need to get behind you. So i'm sure anybody who can go to elder dot com or folks. Tell your friends online to give anything. Give a few bucks because this is for everything. I don't think there is a state in the union that is on the edge of the cliff. The way california is larry. I mean it's it's a sign of health that people have decided recall gavin newsom. Is it not. That's pretty dramatic. I think so. It's a state that has super majorities in the lower chamber the assembly and a super majority of democrats in the upper chamber. The senate. This man can get toppled. It gives whole for all the other states around the country that something can be done about crime about homelessness about the outrageous cost of living in about the way. This man completely ignored science and slapdown this date in a in a way more severe than any other governors while ignoring the very mandates. Himself people are had it. They're fed up. And i think it sends a message around the country gavin. Newsom did say something agreed with. He said if i get toppled it'll be a message to the democrat party. Let's send that message to the democratic party that we've had elder dot com well. But isn't it true though i mean. I think that things had to get this bad for a state even like california to say. This is no longer working. It's kind of funny for a while. People always joke about california. But we're we're at a point now where people's lives are being destroyed. Businesses are being destroyed. Obviously tons of people are leaving the state of california. It's going to be in free fall and they're going to be looking to the federal government to bail them out. I i think that apart from you leading that state. I don't see that it's going to end. Well you know. Our energy and infrastructure has not been significantly attitude since one thousand nine hundred seventy s when the state population would fifty percent. What it is. That's why we're having water shortages enrolling brown outs and we ought not be having that in a state. That's right next to the pacific ocean with all these brainiacs silicon valley we should be able to innovate ourselves out at any problem that we haven't I wanna story that kind of hope and optimism to california. Well just want to say thank you. Thank you for stepping up. Our country needs folks like you to step up sacrificial easy to do what is right.

"Everybody knows if things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's ought to work. The scared of losing their job the dullard doesn't buy a nickel's worth banks going boss shopkeepers. Keep a gun under a counter. Punks running wildness street. And there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do and there's no end to it and this is right before he says you've gotta get mad folks. You gotta get up and say i'm matters how and i'm not gonna take it anymore. I mean but how look anybody who's a little bit older remembers. If you're like me. I remember new york. I mean i remember america but i remember new york in the seventies. It was a nightmare. It was a crime zone. People didn't know what to do. People are leaving the cities because of the crime Who suffers the most when you have really bad leadership the poor suffer the most crime the most cops fearing going in neighborhoods and stuff. So that's happening today. And when to blasi was elected. I thought to myself. We've had such a golden age in new york since giuliani. I mean it's hard to believe that one human being like giuliani was able to turn a city around extremely dramatically. I mean i talk about wilberforce. We'll before i did that with england with the west decades. Giuliani came in here and in in a few years was able to vary dramatically. Staggeringly change new york and bloomberg really was kind of like a manager. He managed that he had enough commonsense. The blasios has in a very short time undone much of the good. You know many of the good efforts so we are in place right now in places like new york and chicago and san francisco. Whatever that it really feels like the seventies. It's like everybody's thinking what's going on. Our leaders are crazy pathetic. Everything's falling apart. So it's just wild to see a film like network from nineteen seventy six. I you know the other thing that gets me. Is that people say well. It's just wearing a mask. Just put on a mask and going into restaurant you know. A little. Just yellow star. What's the big deal that shows ju- people wanna know. Are you just on couldn't hurt. Yeah he couldn't hurt spread disease. Okay so I i'd like to end on a positive before we go to larryelder by the way i'm so excited about larry elder get john's muir at coming up away but i want to say we're doing. This is pure positive great news. We're doing a fundraiser again. For food for the poor. These folks are heroes. They work in the third world. If you care about the poor go to our website metaxas talk dot com. Give whatever you can to food for the poor. We wanna reward you by sending all these gifts and stuff we. You don't do it for that but these folks need your help later in the program. Mary maybe after larry elder. I'll talk more with you about that..

"To talk to my dear friend. Larry taunton but today i'm particularly excited. Because he and. I are going to be doing something really special in birmingham alabama where he comes to us from this. Minute larry welcome. Hey eric good to see a friend. It's always good to see you and talk to you We have a lot to talk about. You've been writing some extraordinary articles People can find you at larry. Alex taunton dot com. But first things first This conference or whatever. We're calling it that we're doing in a few weeks. Tell my audience about that. Because i want to get the word out. This is just wonderful. Well you know so funny eric. I am in dallas. And i'm going into a hotel and who'd i see you and you. The two of us have been discussing this possibility of trying to bring together some christian influencers and sort of strategize about how we can organize people on the right christians in particular and You know give them some much lead into answers. In these turbulent times in which we're living and from that came this conference. July twenty third through the twenty fifth if in birmingham alabama. You find registration about that on my website larry. Alex taunton t. a. u. n. t. o. n. dot com. And what we're going to be doing. Their the conferences called understanding. What's happening in america. And what we can do. And so on the one hand we want to equip you we want to encourage you by bringing believers together in this in the setting and then we wanted to mobilize view so that's partially the dull but there is something beyond that that really excited about that is one of public or tion of this is over. We're gathering together as as a speakers as authors as fishing influencers to put our heads together into to try to figure out. You know how we respond. Because i think what we're seeing in. The culture is a case of the tail wagging the dog. While there's no question about it. Well let's again for my audience. Because i i know. A lot of people may be able to get the birmingham alabama on july twenty third twenty fourth and twenty fifth. Give some details about who. Who will be there. Besides you and me for example. Well sam sorbo. The wife of kevin sorbo you know. Hercules the actor. Sam turns out. he's the husband of sam sorbo. yeah. I don't know how that works. That's crazy that's gotta be guy. Can you imagine what are the odds. Sam sorbo is the wife of kevin sorbo and kevin. Serbo is the husband of sam sorbo. We're not making this up seriously. I was with them recently at the nrp and they are the reason. I always. I them like crazy because they're way too good looking to be that smart. They're both brilliant. Sam sorbo is A home school mom and in an activist and just tremendous so. I'm paul well yes And aren't we all larry but the point is that she's so she's going to. She's going to be there. Sam sorbo eric metaxas and larry taunton and a number of other guests who to tell us who else will be there. Well see o'brien to your viewers may not be familiar with basile was orally that hannity double acp and garlands access and when the democrat party began You know Pushing a wanting the end of lacy to this back in the seventies to to push planned parenthood. He decided to be a part of this anymore. And co. brian is a is a fascinating guy. I met him at the constitutional coalition a few years ago. I was speaking fact. I'm six years. I was speaking along with. Ben carson is folk. I see l. Spoke second and i sat down. I said the car said absolutely not you. Because i would not wanna follow see o'brien's seal bryant is a is a tremendous speaker fascinating guy and loves america and i think people will will be fascinated by. Here's perspective and then. Tom lasko thomas up mover and shaker in the southern baptist convention which is the of course the largest protestant denomination in the united states. And there's an awful lot that's been taking place in the southern baptist convention that is really a microcosm of what's happening in the culture. I mean again. It's a case of the tail wagging the dog. i mean the majority of southern baptist. Churches are quite conservative But there you're seeing progressives target the levers of power in order to to control you know the the entire denomination. And i think a lot of people are going to be just fascinated here from tom from c. l. From sam sorbo from you. Hopefully for me. I get to play samuel. L. jackson on this stacking together. My avengers fanning them into a flame. But i think people will will be really encouraged by people. They already know who will be speaking there but others there maybe not familiar with who are in my opinion real rockstars. Well for for folks who don't know how to find out the information. Where should they go to get all the information on the this conference absolutely go to larry. Alex thompson t. a. u. n. t. o. n. dot comedy. Start typing malaria. Too you're gonna is going to populate the rest of that field for you. So larry alex dot com right there on that handsome homepage. You will see on if you scroll down just a bit. You will see the link to the conference. All the details about the speakers The cost for it. And i wanna say this. This is very important. Eric won't say. "I will send out links to this. But i would just go to the wind. Patch dot org. Because it was so significant. I was reading what he wrote this morning. And it's i just want people to know this is happening in our time before we go to I gotta say you live a very adventurous life. I must make a lot of this stuff up. You'd never know. I know that's why you last night's writing of adventure. What'd i do last night. That was adventurous. I co host. No i- i- guest hosted jennifer ellison's programs you did and while i was guest hosting it. This is no joke. I'm in my living room trying to do live tv and i'm thinking what could go wrong. The bell door the the bell could ring at the door. Anything georgie my dog start barking so i'm doing the program. I'm interviewing david harris. Junior live right. I don't know how many people are watching a lot of people georgie. My little dog unbeknownst to My common law wife. Suzanne and our current daughter arose little. Georgie is freaking out. Because as a thunderstorm that begins to happen through. So i'm sitting there trying to talk. Intelligently do live tv in my living room. And georgie starts trying to jump up on my lap while i am trying to think cogently expressed myself. Georgie finally jumps into my lap. And i'm trying to hide it from the camera because georgia's shaking like a leaf because of the thunder and stuff. And eventually georgie leaps. Up gets tangled in the earbud moves. The camera and the whole world now knows the my secret that i have an eight pound dog that freaks out and jumps into my lap on so was it was a really embarrassing moment. It was kinda like when When the guy walked off the air on newsmax yes he could ruin my career. I just wanna say. I'm sorry you up you have a career. It was really it was really. It was awful. And then even more exciting. After that. Suzanne and i watched a movie. Oh that's right. We watched the sons of katie elder. If we have time at the end of the program today I will tell you the sons of katie elder starring. John wayne and dean martin and strother. Martin has a role you know. Strother martin We'll talk about that at the end of the second hour today when we come back larry taunton my dear friend Always phenomenal to talk to him. And then buckle your seatbelts for john's mirak because it's gonna get crazy with me wall mall mile now folks. How many years have i been telling you about relief factor. What like four. The truth is i know there are millions of people in fact some say over one hundred million people struggling with some kind of pain maybe from exercise just getting older. That could do it getting older. Which is why. I am so impressed with pete. And seth talbot. They are on a mission. You rarely see this kind of focus. And commitment seriously they recently shared with me that they are doubling down and one to literally double their total number of happy customers in the next year. And i believe they'll do it. So here's the deal if you're struggling with back neck shoulder hip or knee pain. Even general muscle aches and pains than. I'm suggesting you order their three week. Quickstart still discounted to only nineteen ninety-five about a dollar a day to see if we can get you at a painting. And then after that less than the cost of.

"Eric metaxas. Hello there. I didn't see you come in. How are you. This is the show camera where i'm going have to get professional here. All right we got a lot to share first of all today. What today's wednesday. Today's wednesday. Already our okay. Tonight i'm flying to kansas city Because i got a thousand head of cattle. I need to look in on our no seriously. I watched the sons of katie elder last night with suzanne. So i'm thinking you know in terms of cattle and stuff. We'll come back to that. I want to talk about what we watched last night on tv so But before that. I want to say i'm going to kansas city folks if you can get to kansas city or maybe you can watch it online. But mike bickel francis chan. Ken fish andy bird. That's not a joke. I think he's there any bird end and chris read. Were all going to be there in. Kansas city at i hop international house of pancakes prayer prayer. And we're doing events tomorrow night. Friday night saturday night and then i think mike bickel is going to interview me and ken on sunday morning at these two services. It's a crazy thing and if you're frightened by the holy spirit differently tune in you're gonna freak. It's really it's actually. It's so amazing. mike bickel. I've never you know often people who are known to you know for trafficking in the gift of the spirit you sort of assume that they're sloppy on the bible. I can't think of anyone on planet earth that knows the scripture better than mike bickel. But anyway if you don't know who these folks are tune in It's the international house of prayer kansas city. Okay got a mention that next weekend. I'm going to ken. Graves as church and bangor maine. Ken graves is the guy who gargoyles with gravel. oh yes why. His voice sounds that way. He is an unbelievable Man of faith. He is allowing me into his pool. Pit if he's a pulpit. It doesn't sound as interesting into his. Pull pit Next sunday and then. After that i'm flying to Tampa florida because charlie kirk and company are putting on a turning point. usa event. and we're gonna do the radio program and a lot of heavy hitters there. Besides you searle even heavier even had about it. Think about it all right so we're going to mention that now. Today's program before we get crazy. I want to talk about sean. Foyt and the sons of katie elder. But in a couple of minutes talking to my friend larry taunton Some of you know. Larry taunton but we're doing. I'm doing a really special. And rare kind of event with him in birmingham alabama alabama as we say now and that's We're gonna talk about that a couple of minutes but then we've got a lot of time today with john's miracle yes i missed this iraq john. The situations muruga. He misses you to buy so anywhere. We're going to john's did you. Get them there in the green room thank you. You're welcome well. Listen here's the thing. I gotta talk about sean. Foyt and i gotta talk about my friend my dear friend in the world keith giunta. we've been friends and brothers for thirty years Because i i know. I mentioned this the other day sean foyt. He's the guy that does the let us worship events. Now they're different streams of you know the christian faith out there and then of course there are lots of people that aren't tuned into any of those streams just living their lives but shaun foy has been doing these let us worship events around the country since it hit outdoor events on the same on the golden gate bridge in dc In inner city. Detroit city philly. He went into the chop zone. Wow what's what's more looney than that. I don't even know. They went into the chop zone with no police. Like crazy. crazy crazy stuff. He did an event last weekend in the bronx. I know you mentioned this the other day but one of the things that i didn't say about what happened there just to give an example bright If you've never been to either a pentecostal service or these kinds of like healing services the presence nine. Oh this sounds looney to some people and asked me if i care go ahead do you. The presence of the holy spirit is so strong. That stuff happens. So if somebody has like issues with demonic presence you know a lot of people have that and they just deal with it. You know you gotta doctors. That's eight schizophrenia. They say we can't sometimes it's demonic stuff. Now i've seen this. I know all about it. If you don't you know know about it you can educate yourself. I won't get into it now but my friend keith. Genta and i were there upfront and it was an extraordinary feeling being there. I didn't feel anything. I almost never feel anything. Palpable you know but there was an older woman a heavy older woman with a walker. And she's right up front and she looked kinda sad. And you thinking. I'm in the middle of the bronx. Who is this woman. had it. she get here. She's from the neighborhood. Does she go to this church. I don't know It was the church of fernando cabrera. Who is a politician here in new york. Who's also fulltime pastor. And i was looking at this woman and she began to do what we in the holy ghost world call should begin to manifest in other words. It's obvious when you're looking at her. Something is going on. That is not normal or natural. She's kind of shaking. She's making vicious faces that instantly vanish and she's herself. And it just looks like there's something demonic going on right. So i don't know if she's just crazy or what i don't you know so i go over to eventually get so bad because she's weeping and and i go over there and i put my hand on her back and i say are you. Okay can i pray for you. And she me that she's been tormented by this demonic thing. You know now again. If you don't understand this stuff. I know it sounds crazy but my friend keep giunta was with me. We were praying for her and then we found some people who know how to deal with this and people are very very trained. who've been trained probably by. Ken fish himself But it was just so heartbreaking to see somebody dealing with something like this and nobody can help you because ninety nine percent of the churches that i know they would just look at you and say you need to go see psychiatrists and this is one of those cases where psychiatrists are going to be more baffled than than anybody but anyway it was so amazing. I'm saying it just because my friend keith wrote about it at his blog. And i if you follow me on social media. I post everything that keith rights but you can go there directly. It's the wine. Patch dot org if you go to the wine. Patch dot.

"Sounded really real but it is within a very. I think you would say this is within a very narrow domain. Make no one's no one's calling duplexes and calling anyone crying but it will be exciting to see. Maybe a little bit frightening as well to to see where this heads. Yeah just to comment on that you know. Of course. I really hope that it doesn't go into areas. Where Larry it's manipulating people? In extreme way of course who knows what will be done with it but I would say just to create empathy with the user on You know like if you go into the shop you know any shops that you like to go into. There's probably someone who serves you there that you you like that you go back to them and you don't have any kind of dramatic conversation that you feel that. This person is serving you. Well like they care about you getting a good experience. And that's how I see this that it's it's not about any kind of extremes of emotion lake. Thank you get in film and dramatic media. It's more about the subtleties and the way that we naturally talk to each other. We we we manipulate voice just to to draw each other in closer or to to make some things seem lighter than actually is is just because we don't want to be serious all the time that makes perfect sense it makes sense. That is really really interesting Stephan. I'm glad we got to to get into detail about not because I think you're right in terms of Texas H has come a long way on. We see in canoe solve innovations on kind of the things being taken forward all the time. And you're right it depends on the use case. If you just want. The weather might not necessarily be as important but I do think if if these assistance to be what they could be and what kind of potential of them is which is to be the thing that is ever there an an always on hand to conduct do whatever you need it to do then the does need to be a degree of trust in there and ultimately humans build relationships through you know a number of different ways one might be body language. It might be I contact but I think not a voice and how you talk to someone certainly is a really the important way of how we build relationships. We communicate with each other and I think that I think you've hit the nail on the head with with how things said being being important just as important as what's actually said in the first place what what Welcome people kind of reach out to you then Ben if you know if they WANNA kinda get hands on some of your dialogue craft in majesty to reach out to you and find out more about what you will to tears so website.
