Chad Jackson of 'Uncle Tom 2' Shares His Story

"About your story, why your story was part of the first movie. Yeah, so I'm an entrepreneur here in Dallas, started my company when I was about 25, 26 years old. I started it as a small plumbing company and was able to grow it to a relatively large company at the same time I was involved in the Dallas county Republican Party. And so Justin Malone, who's a director of Uncle Tom. He was looking for stories that he could use, and this documentary that he was putting together. And so his assistant writer and cell called me one day and said, hey, we're doing this film. Would you be interested in being interviewed for it? And so I agree to do that. They were able to then take that footage along with a couple of other Dallas conservatives and show it to folks like Larry elder, Larry decided to become an executive producer for the film, which gave just an access to other more prominent black conservatives. And so the rest, as they say, is history.

The eac brainiac and fast anchor lack spreaker tracks. Run my rhyming skills. Got you climbing hill. I cannot believe that that was a that was okay. So i stand corrected on that So let me Let's get back to some more. Larry elder larry elder. It's oh by the way in the second hour you guys are gonna want to miss it. I'm going to have the author of debunking the sixteen thousand nine project on mary. Gray bar will be with us I'm gonna talk to you about this black homes. Homeschooling group that standing firm against critical race theory. I think that's pretty cool. And then the seven rules of social changes a book that was written by a spiritual mentor. Minor friend brad. Bright served this was back in. I believe oh oh two or three and it's called god is the issue and literally this book is. It's almost as if this book is written to day. And the seven rules social change. I believe is what we need a conservatives libertarians freedom loving people to To advance our agenda all right so let's go to Let's go to audio clip number. "We talk about protecting small businesses. We'll talk about the future of the republican party. We'll talk about larry's political future gavin newsom called emma trump clone and many believe. That's why newsome won easily last night. It was a rejection of trumpism. Paul has some comments. Here in the relieffactor dot com studios on line. Three about president trump. And what he did right what he did wrong. Hey paul thanks for joining us. How are you good larry. Thank you for taking my call. I appreciate it i am. Republican voted for trump twice I sat in my brother-in-law's living room for years ago. And said you know. I think trump were to lose the election. He'd start a nuclear war. So i don't think that the concerns by the generals were Out of line. I honestly and i. You sound like a reasonable a nice guy. Don't take this the wrong way. I don't believe you when you say you voted for trump. I don't believe that for one minute. No rational person. I mean Do you feel like you're familiar with president trump. Do you realize that. President trump was the first president since carter not to start a war. Do you really think. Donald trump was interested in starting wars anywhere. He wanted to get us out of wars. Paul you know that. I i agree with that. I think that donald trump was like many very successful people On the on the verge of being little bit derain like one. Give me an example of that. This is your trump supporter. Your trump voter since you voted for trump. Since you voted for which frankly makes me question your sanity. You would be willing to vote for somebody you consider range. What did you think was borderline. Deranged about president trump. How about just one or two examples that come to mind well. And i didn't say trump was said. Many there have been many leaders. Who have been the arranged for your applying that to donald trump. You must think he was borderline deranged. If he was on the verge of nuking china should give me an example of what would make you think that what what did he do or even say that would give you the impression we were on the verge of a nuclear war with china without feeling and don't ask his persona. He's nah just offer one thing offer Okay well thank you. You already offered a republican who voted for trump. And and you felt deranged maniac. Who was about to start nuclear armageddon. Here's my concern to stay us win the house. And the senate. It is my contention that we were able to win the house because of asc. She's a wacko. And we are offering we if we would just offered the facts. How about this unemployment. During trump's term was better a minorities were doing better. Everything was better paul. The border was better. The military our world standing was better but the problem is great but but unfortunately yup but unfortunately we got people like you who poi- who muddy the waters and then say but the guy who brought all of that to us was was a borderline deranged nut who about to new china. That's the problem there. You're using jinmei norm. Your we heard we heard your words. Paul we're listening to your words your music to trump to the to the anti-trump world's ears your music to the democrats. Here's i think that's probably why. Millie thought he could get away with this. Because there's a lot of people who will give him cover and anybody who gives any any space or any comfort to the ridiculous notion that trump did anything to make anyone think he was a deranged maniacal guy who was possibly capable of bombing china. You're giving aid and comfort and quarter to them paul. You're their best friend. Well i i believe that if we would just give the can you imagine going to being in debate with joe biden. Insane folks. Look if you think. The withdraw from afghanistan was done. Well if you're happy with way we're going then. Vote for joe biden. If you think that we are moving in the wrong direction my point is we. We have the that green and other guys. Who's having we have we. If we just go right to the fact let's go to the facts of twenty twenty four. Who do you want to be as the republican front runner. Who do you want be to carry the republican torch. Since you're since you're a never-trumper who do you want to to be the republican nominee never trump. Yes as you are but go ahead. Yes you are yes you are. You're not somebody who's you're not gonna get away with saying that trump was gonna take us on the brink of nuclear obliteration and not be a never-trumper but who would you like to see. Be the republican nominee for president. Larry elder larry larry elder. Well let me break it to you. Larry would disagree with you more vociferously than i have done. That trump was a deranged lunatic. So again my i. I have to interrupt you. I didn't say that. I said we heard you told your brother. You told your brother in law or your sister or your whoever you told the you believe that trump was capable of nuking china. I do like that so turn around and say you didn't say something that i've said for four minutes you said and again you're giving aid and comfort to the anti-trump were you're not doing republicans any favors. You may think you are paul. Trust me your their best scenario. They want to hear from people like you. Who aren't who don't have the for. First of all you can't even give me a shingle concrete example to make you have a legitimate fear that trump if he got angry enough would blow up china. You know you don't have your anything to back that up other than your feelings. Well an opinion. I have a right to an opinion. Don't i of course you do. And i want you to express your opinion but i do too and i'm frustrated because there's too many people like you in the republican party. You're like you're like a tool. You're short no no. Don't there's no interruption. Hang on there's you got plenty of time. You're a useful tool. You're a useful tool to democrats paul and you don't even realize it. Now go ahead well. I don't say this to democrats. Say to republicans because that's who we need to focus on what you're blowing up your republicans loops how why did donald trump lers very simple. You wanna ask my theory. White trump washed corona virus by believe that the virus absolutely obliterated the trump presidency. I believe with all of my heart. That had corona virus not happen. We wouldn't be having anything close to this conversation. That's my i would agree with you to to a circuit. That was a factor. Certainly anything that happens negatively during the president's term they get paid for it. But let me ask you. This had john. Donald trump in anything like ronald reagan. Yup what would have happened well. Of course if. I'd have been like ronald reagan. I'd be a better talk show host. There was one ronald reagan. there was one donald trump. And i get it. I truly understand what people say about trump's personality but but this is something you're going to have to contend with paul and this is the difficult part of this admit i'm frustrated et hearing the republicans. Say well you know he was on. He could have maybe blown up china and i just think that's ridiculous but but i take your point and i understand your point about the personality factor. Here's the problem. Here's the problem you're going to have to deal with. He didn't go anywhere. paul he is. He is the leader of the republican party and paul. He's going to be the leader of the republican party to twenty twenty three twenty four. I don't know if he's going to run or not but he's going to be the titular head of the party that you and i both belong to completely you and i are going to agree on more than we only know i know. Do i know we do that. Thing that thing that we're gonna disagree on his if we have the the greens and the extremists. Yup or dental. If we want to wait a minute what do you. What do you mean by. Wait a minute. Paul clarified the greens. You keep saying the greens. You mean the green new deal know that that congress. Oh marjorie taylor green from georgia i got you i got you you know and the guy who said you know The guy who sat in. I don't know jones. I think buying. Now here's where we're gonna lose though. Paul this is what. We're i strongly disagree with you. And this is what this is. The part where we will definitely have to part ways you you long for a return and i don't say this is a criticism about establishment republicans but you're more comfortable with establishment republicans. That's what you want. We have lost with establishment republicans. Donald trump showed what we're capable of. When larry elder there was so much so much to his campaign because he according to gavin newsom as a trump clone he was donald trump. He's a black black california and trump. And you think. Larry elder's capable of blowing up china..

"On the line with me is the great elderski. Larry elder larry. I had a and i know. I can't stay on this long for political purposes but i had a caller call the other night and it it it really. It really got to me larry into the the caller said you know i. I appreciate the show. I appreciate what you're doing but But larry something special. And i was like well. Good lord you wanna drive by and in studio while i'm here anyway but anyway Let larry let me ask you this okay. So you laughed. Behin- i mean obviously lucrative career as a nationally syndicated. Radio show it. Do you wanna put your policies to the test is this. Why did you decide. Hey i'm leaving. Radio i wanna give this thing. A shot running for governor of california. I know the timing is good but do you have a desire to pitcher policies to the test. You know carl. I get asked that question a lot. And what this sound to sound arrogant. But i love the series a die. Hard movies with bruce willis and one of the ones he was and it wasn't one of the third or fourth one wasn't particularly good but he's in the car and he savings as the world And somebody says the. And why are you doing this what you do this. And he said. Because somebody has to. And i'm looking at the guys that were running against so i didn't think they can win. I know that i could bring something to the table. I've been talking about crime in rising homelessness and the rise of the cost of living in the fact that people leaving california for years. And i really do think i have something to say about it and i felt that i have. I had a moral. I'm a man of faith. A spiritual and patriotic duty to do this. And you're right. I'm not doing it for money. Obviously not doing it for fame. I in fact. I'm losing And you know you always run. The risk of somebody thing will say something about your reputation that might lead us forever. I knew that i was doing all of that. But i really felt i had no choice. I thought i would regret it. And i would not be proud of larry would not be happy with myself. My mom and my dad looking at me from heaven without the happy at dodger this. Because i just didn't wanna put myself through it. Though i felt i had no real choice car. I really. i really felt that way. Larry i gotta tell you in that response at you just gave. I gotta feeling date. You've just inspired. Countless amount of god knows how many people to to chase their goals in in in their dreams. All right. let's get back to the topic at hand. Top five issues that larryelder fills needs to be the ones or the ones that that'll help the people of california well first of all when i become governor to the extent that they're still mandates for state workers. It'd be tested once a week. Where facemask at work I'm going to repeal those mandate before. I had my first cup of a cup of tea. I think they're anti science You know i'm not anti vaccine. I've been vaccinated. I'm older i've got a co morbidity and contrary to the ads my opponent has been running. I'm not antibac-. But i do believe a lot of people for example followed the advice of calmly harris and joe biden when they said if donald trump told him to take the vaccine. They wouldn't take the vaccine was done real fast. The fda approved it on an emergency basis and less than a year the average vaccine takes about five years And a lot of people. Just don't wanna take it. I was at a campaign stop in palm desert and went into a coffee shop. Carl and waited on by a very charming young lady. And i notice that half the people at the wait staff wearing masks and half of them weren't and i asked her. What was the policy in the store and she said well. My boss allows us to wear mask african. That we're a man i said you've been vaccinated. She said no i. May i ask why. She smiled and she said well. You may ask bound to give you a reason why i choose not to. I mean isn't that america didn't thomas jefferson warning against trading freedom for public safety. And i think that everybody in california now who wants to be vaccinated been vaccinated and poor people can be vaccinated for free. A lot of people have made the decision not to be made. And i think we ought to respect that. Why don't you The other issues as well. I know you're listen. Obviously you made some homeless people upset today. It looks so that's a. That's a big issue for you. Once you speak right and many of them have mentally ill mentally. Ill problems Some of them are schizophrenic. Eating a danger to themselves or others. And i think we demonstrated that this problem has gotten worse and worse and worse under my phone when he ran for mayor in two thousand four. He said ten years. I'm gonna clean up the homeless problem in san francisco. That would have been twenty fourteen. Have you been to san francisco lately to. Providence gotten worse. And that's because i call it. The homeless industrial complex Homes are being built a substantially higher cost. And we'd be built if the private sector bills them without dealing with the underlying reason why people are homeless in the first place and it's largely because of mental illness and because of substance abuse these people need to be treated and government has proved itself to be ineffective. We need to involve nonprofit community activists churches synagogues and mosques. And once that done they need to have low cost housing i talked to dr ben.

"Than them and they're like. Oh i wish i was them. We'll adrian is It's interesting for for you know as an outsider watching a friend go from being a dude who is a musician and filmmaker documentary filmmaker. Suddenly he became famous because he played someone even more famous than he was which is kind of the ultimate modern experience. It's like andy. Warhol would have a field day with it being famous playing guys. Who's really famous right. Yeah and then i you know. I think they're the first season. Yeah people were jealous and then. Suddenly people started having wishful them where they were like. Oh this is like me and my friends. This how we're going to be next year. Well adrienne how do you feel. This has impacted your career. I mean on one hand. It's it's awesome because you're in a hot. Tv show on the other hand. You're playing a guy who's known for being an actor who's a famous actor who i could see casting people going. I don't want the guy who's known for being the famous actor in a movie. You know what. I mean as it impacted in a negative or positive way Well truthfully i don't know because i haven't been spending a lot of time You acting other than Entourage and the adventures of power and a couple of other smaller projects. Because i've been directing my own documentary which is taken up a a whole lot of my town where we saw. I saw the one where you went in search. You hear father birth father which was great and For me i in a candid compliment. But it's hard to fuck up a documentary. I love documentaries. I feel like. I'm learning something. I'm if it's real if the characters unreal in every once in a while you get a The kid stays in the picture or overnight with I don't know if you guys have ever seen that one but it's just it's so insane. It's it's unbelievable but And i enjoyed years very much. But i just love documentary but it does seem like it's not really much way to make a living as it. No no i mean when you when you really take the hours like the hours of planning the hours you spend the edit bay the hours you spend shooting the footage is like if somebody said like how lawyers charged like they go. Oh i was golfing today. But i was thinking about your case so i'm going to charge you for four hours like if you took everyone your hours thinking about one of these documentaries working on it editing. All the things all the things involved with it and then took the prophet. You would be better off getting a job at del taco right from an hourly standpoint Yeah i i think monetary than the. Yeah it's worse. I ended up. Having like i'd be in debt to del taco. Somehow right dome saw. Oh yeah yeah yeah. So no. it's the reward is definitely not You know dollars and cents. It's it's but then are you is it is Is entourage lucrative enough. That you can just do this or is your lifestyle. Sort of spartan enough. Oh yeah that's that's definitely the case i mean. Entourage has given me an opportunity to make documentaries and spend inordinate amount of time. You know contemplating the world and making films about it. I don't let me put words in your mouth. But i hate it when people disagree with me. You seem to me like a guy who doesn't need a whole bunch of cars and whole bunch of houses and a whole bunch of cocaine and the whole bunch of shit like i mean. He seemed like an artist. Like we're talking miami. I said where do you live. And you're like i'm a new yorker and brooklyn. And i said i move out here and you said i could never live out here. So you're you're not one of these guys That you know. Mc hammer can equip. Vince yes i don't need them but they're fun right but you don't. You're not a slave to this stuff. I mean you have more artists lifestyle. Yeah i mean for the most part You know we play music and you know it's been a lot of time uh recording at the house and and also making films I come from like the diy generation. I guess you know what they're doing it. I'm not waiting for someone to give me a role or begging for a job. It's it's you know we we have all of these opportunities other technology at our disposal to just go out and make things and create and communicate. I mean this seems a little like the same spirit here. Yeah well what happened with me is I got fired from my radio. Job and So my buddy. I went to high school with you. Met out there. Pouring the red wine he said You start podcast. It and i said What's that you just talk. Say whatever you want and People download it. And i said house addy make money and he said i don't know what do it you know and then eventually get enough downloads. Get enough big enough audience and then figure out a way to you. Know find that audience and get a couple nichols them and That's what we did. And then we started in other shows in the network and start dreaming him. Yeah and and and we're kind of getting to that place and part of it's a mindset and other part is the technologies eight enabled everyone to do it. I mean there's no way. Just with the cameras and the microphones and the computers. That didn't exist. Twenty years ago is there's no possible. Way to have an antenna on top of mount wilson that was you know eighty feet high and now you can just do it but then you get to this point. Were now that everyone can do it. A well back. In the day there were four networks five networks. And you'd end up watching. You know. I mean i would sit home at nine and like watch. A rerun of bonanza just because it was people moving in front of me. I didn't give a shit about hawes or or docker anybody and now you realize okay. There's five hundred stations and you have to define yourself. And there's two billion podcasts. And everybody's got a cell phone. Could make a documentary now so now. The sort of bar has been raised a little bit in terms of content. Absolutely i mean the there's a lot more competition And you know you actually have to prove yourself you have to prove that you can create the quality stuff that people want to download or watch right. I think that's a good thing. I mean it's like it's like the free market competition increases quality. It is it's it's essentially. What happened to american car companies. Like if you take a look at the american cars they were putting out in the late sixties early seventies mid seventies. It was sort of a joke. It was like they're just they're just going fuck. We'll make something called the matador and we'll put like a naga hide landau roof on the outside of it or get four miles again. It'd be a piece of shit and then someone who's going to buy that. I'll what choice did i have. You know and all sudden. Honda and toyota and datsun cert- role name and all of a sudden the american car companies. Gotta go like. Hey we gotta get our shit together because we don't get your ship together now. American cars are pretty damn good and there's no way they would be bad damn good if they weren't getting overrun by you know subaru and laxest and everybody else coming from every other country. Well i mean that's why we all need to support and i'm sure you do support net neutrality so that we all have an equal opportunity to to compete. Yeah do we support that Well larry elder larry less. I think there's a there's a website I'm sure someone could find out right. You have people people to find out and put it up on something neutrality. Yeah.

"And eric hugh hewitt on a friday. That means sunny bunch of the truncated sunny bunch today. Detective tom on hold larry elder larry elder in a holding pattern over the show. Glenn young can behind him. But we gotta get our movie fix from sunny bunch. The official movie critic of the hugh hewitt show sunny. I'm holding my hand. The comfortably ruthless. It's called the friend of the program like friend and ally when is sunny bunch across the aisle going to get an official mug for merch we should we should have some merge i what sort of mercury would have though parts It's hard to merchandise being. You know good good friends at the movies. I only two are only two. One is a coffee cup like the ruthless coffee cup. Which i hold my hand if you're watching on the youtube which has friend of the program misspelled and then rick lewis on the front or everybody loves those big copy things. What do they call that that. Are you know the coffee never gets cold like a whatever. A yeti yeti short the across the aisle yeti. I put that that could be product placement in the hugh hewitt show. We'd like that. Sure i'll i'll. I'll tell you what we can do. So what's on the agenda sunny. Were running at double speed today. All right so we had a. We mentioned this last week but The new anthony bourdain documentary road runner. that is that's out in theaters now. An hbo mass production but it's out in theaters. it's not on tv Co-produce with cnn. I believe We again we briefly mentioned that It's it's an interesting documentary in that There's some controversy surrounding the is it. Is it real. Yeah so so there's there. There are two separate controversies. The i i think is kind of an entre versi. Frankly the the fake issue basically what the producers of the documentary did was. They took some lines. That anthony bourdain had written emails and Voice them via of you know an ai produced Dialogue that the that dane you know quote unquote red right. So basically they took all they took all of anthony board dane's appearances on tv all of his You know podcasts. All of his you know books that he read and feted into a computer and then have the. I create Readings of of mine from his email. Hey it's a little bit weird. It's a little bit creepy but it's not. I'd like to hear how it sounds. That's kind of an interesting science experiment. Yeah i mean well the weird thing is they don't really tell you in the in the movie when the fake is the used. That would be kind of nice to now but like a again. It's not it's not the end of the world for me. this is not for me. What's a killer. I don't care about food. There's there's that there is a bigger. There's a bigger controversy though here. And this and the the the documentary in the last. I don't know twenty thirty minutes of the documentary. Essentially implies that his relationship with ozzy are gento who was a His his his last girlfriend his last you know true. Love whatever His relationship with ozzy are gento. Is what kind of pushed him over. The edge and suicide She you know he had kind of an addictive personality. Who was super into her. She ended up leaving him and when when she was with another guy was all over the tabloids very hard for him to take etcetera etcetera And it it this. This is an i mean. It's it's it maybe it's true. Maybe it's maybe it's not. I don't know it's a documentary. It has a point of view it doesn't have to be like pure journalism but what what's weird is that. She was not interviewed for the documentary and they interviewed all sorts of people and not only was she not interviewed. She was not asked to be interviewed. Which i think is a natural. That's what i think i. I think i think you if you're going to if you're going to imply that she was one of the reasons that he Back that that he killed himself. Then i think you have to at the very leaf. Ask her comment. I am just like again documentary. Not journalism doesn't have to be fair doesn't have to be totally even handed doesn't have to be even really open minded that it be ina- a trays a lack of seriousness. Oh my curiosity yeah. Lack of interest in and and i i think i think that is a much bigger than that is. I'm not going to what's next all right up next out in theaters this week. He knew 'em night shamlan movie channel on his back old Here's the here's the elevator. Pitch for old family goes to a beach and ages eight years day. That's that's that's the pitch here. It's a twist. There's there's all sorts of you know weird things. I don't wanna see that either. It's a horror movie here. you're not going to enjoy it I went to see it last night. So the fifteen year old becomes me. Yeah the There's a. I don't wanna see that was like at fifteen periods seen the close in the seventies. It's it's a family of four Mom dad little little boy. Who's six little girl who's about twelve And after you know four hours on the beach he is. The little boy is Sixteen the girl is twenty something And they're they're just aging too fast here their agent too fast and every everything is all sped up on this beach they wounds heal instantly in in a matter of moments occurred anyone to get off the beach. Well they try to get off the beach you they try to get off the beach but the beach won't let them believe they get a headaches and they black out when they try to leave the beach and you know. They are several remade. The prisoner series. When again mogollon from the sixties the bubble comes and gets them similar similar. so the The the you know it's again it's horrible. You're i know you're not super horror movies all never you like it. It's okay it's already. You know what sunny we're going to put. It's okay on your tombstone. it's okay no it's it's a very silly movie. It's a very very silly movie. It's very over the top. It's very Oh i don't. I don't know exactly what the best adjective is but except to say that it is. It is extremely Silly and over the top. And i talk about you for a minute. That last week i told my wife to go see pig. And she said why i think sunny bunch loved. He said he loved it. I said well sunny bunch usually says either. It's fine or it's okay. So when he says the best movie of twenty twenty one that means it's really out of the park great. But i do think on your tombstone. It's fine it's okay sonny by well but.

"I'm often asked Why don't you go on CNN Want you going in this and be he Han and talk to some of these people? Well, you have to be invited. You can't just can't just show up. Hey, I want to talk. Tomo Theo Van White last Jones. I want to say something too. Chris, Don't call me Fredo Cuomo. I want to say something to Rachel Man. Now. It doesn't work that way. But I used to be invited on CNN and MSNBC hall fairly regularly until they realize their business model. With such they don't want to piss off any of their of their viewers. And so I'm not gonna have somebody like Larry Elder when I get too many angry letters. But after the death of Michael Brown Was invited on CNN. The host is Brooke Baldwin. And the other Panelists, with the other point of view is Marc Lamont Hill. And here's what happened. Mama and Eric Holder's statement giving him that in pressure you You said No. It is not a major problem in this country. No, it is not. My father was a janitor. He was born in the Jim Crow south. Fast forward. My father in his late 40 started a small business Got a little bit of property. This is what happens in America raised three boys educated them. We have a thriving black, middle class Black America where country Brooke it would be the 15th wealthiest country in the world. For crying out loud. This is not your grandfather's America. We ought not act like it, Isse. Yeah, but later I don't know Two things. One. I think your hairpiece could be broken because the questions on mental health and you once again go back to the pathologist of the black community That's stunning to me. But you have to help me all the time. Why can't you dress like I said with an insulting me? Why is it necessary that we have a discussion of two black men without insulting each other possible? Can we put that got to do that, please? Larry, I haven't insulted you. What? I'm Larry. I'm not insulting when in response, you have only said I was finished. Selling a dog with the white Republicans Always use a dog with me was when I said the merits of what I said for a change. Lamont. I want you all the time. You talk over people. You don't listen in America. What? They were talking over me first. Okay, a few things. I never said dog whistle second, you're saying engagement? You talking ideas? Talk. Let me finish. I didn't when you were why they should realize you were wrong. When, when? What? When I just spoke about was mental health and something you what? I just what? I just spoke about his mental health in the black community, and you responded by talking about black people in believing that racism services. You totally didn't acknowledge my question or respond to my comment, So let's say I wanted to have perspective and talk about what's important, But you want to do that. No, You don't get to decide what's important. You don't weigh all have opinions I made. I made a comment. I wanted to respond to it. But I'll respond to your you. You think you think the problem is that there are black people is a major problem in America, and I don't Okay? I don't let's okay. Well, let me tell you what I think. Now that you've spoken, there are two issues here. You mentioned black on black crime. You say that That's a problem. I agree with you that it's It's a huge problem. I'm asking problem, Larry. Like I agree with you. It's like gentlemen. One place Mark agree with Larry Elder that black on black violence is an issue. I absolutely agree with you. So let's not argue about what we both agree on. I agree. What if this study bears out? And it does that at least one that every 28 hours and unarmed black person is killed, then that also is a problem isn't as big a problem is, is another last than 2% of the total Lamont less than 2% of the total 7000 black people killed every year less than 2% are killed by police officers in an unarmed way. Why don't we talk about the 98% and many of these murders in Chicago are unsolved. At least we know what happened in the Michael Brown case. Okay, So let's talk about that. First of all we do. Talk about what happened in Chicago, seeing into the whole special in Chicago. We thought what Chicago violence every week. I write about Chicago. I'm physically injured. What are we doing about dude? What are we doing about it? We're doing lots of things. But you can't. You can't suggest that our efforts in our energy can on Lee be justifiable or legitimate. If we solve the problem. We spend a lot of time in America trying to solve lots of problems and we haven't solved many of them. It doesn't mean that we're not doing the work. I think that's part of the problem. But the reason we're talking about the unarmed kid right now is because one was just killed Larry and it's entirely reasonable when a black child is killed in the street, unarmed for us to have a conversation about that without you trumping in by saying things happening. We don't know what you know what happened before. You know what? I do not know what happened. Larry, stay with me. You know who did it. The other 75% homicides in Chicago, so unsettled by One of the last times I was on CNN. Farquaad. In fact, more black teens and white teams that failure to take advantage of available opportunities is a bigger problem than racism. "America. We have a country to say. And now here's Larry Elder Larry for years, the lapses in the thing that we don't need voter ID because there is no evidence of voter fraud, one the days that the evidence was going to be presented to Congress. The media go on record. Mob shows up and hers Congress during and media shifts to covering the mob and the Congress congressional session was delayed and much of the evidence was never presented. Isn't it? Amazing how conveniently that worked out to the left? I don't think it's gonna have gone better if they had planned it. Not only was the evidence not presented, but at least one senator La Flor, who said publicly she was going to join this effort, did a 1 80 after the riots. So not only was the evidence not presented that also called Republicans, but to do this to go on retreat. Josh Hall even wrote a letter apologizing to his black constituents in Missouri about joining us because he had no idea that Donald Trump was challenging the elections in places like Detroit in Philadelphia in Atlanta, where they were black populations and therefore making black people feel that their vote didn't count. So I'm sorry, even gotten involved. Underscoring the adage that my friend Thomas old told me Republican's favorite exercise is Running for the hills. 2021 is already off to a disturbing start for conservatives. We've seen Twitter literally shut down President Trump's account. By the way, I just read that they've shut down Michelle Malkin, too. An evolutionary theorist Bret Weinstein, who appears in the film no safe spaces. And issued the following morning about political correctness. If this is allowed to continue, they're just going to work its way into the entire apparatus of government journalism, maybe most seriously into the tech sector, which has become the governance apparatus for the new public square, YouTube and Google, Facebook and Twitter. Dictate whose voices can be heard. And if those entities start trying to engineer the conversation to adhere to the rules laid out with these phony Trojan horse terms, disaster will be the result. "Larry Elder Larry, We're in the middle of January, 2021. We just take a step back and look at what the world our country has turned into from 20 years ago, 40 years ago go even 60 years ago. This country It's not your father's country. Not even your grandfather's country is turned into such a Despicable mess. That all the left wants to do is make things worse and bring us down. It's so depressing. So I hope to listen to more of what you have to recommend. And what kind of sense You can make out of this. So it makes us feel better about being in this great country of ours. United States of America. God bless you and have a safe new year. Triple 8971 s a G Triple 89717243. I am Larry Elder. We are Relief active com studio. That's not how he felt. He felt they could be persuaded. You're wrong headed, but they could be persuaded. They were all Americans. And I feel all too often much of our country does not feel that way. I've often said jokingly that half the country believes as a free lunch. The other half Leave that the first half is stopping them from getting it. Another way of saying half the country believe the other half is wrong. The other half believes that have Was evil, Bad. It's called poor to CEO. Available on Salem, now dot com that Salem now dot com. I told you I was speaking with a friend of mine from Chicago operates a small business. We started out by talking about the minimum wage. He lives in Illinois, and as of January 1, their minimum wage went up, as has The minimum wage gone up in many states. He does employ. An employee who is on minimum wage. He told me that as soon as the Measure went into effect, He raised his prices. He talked about how he was offended that He had a raises prices. My choice, her body her choice. And I want to come to your business. Not when it comes to Coronavirus lockdowns. No longer your business. The other thing about this. I had a conversation with Thomas Soul once. And I said I think you've written that the minimum wage is perhaps one of the most studied aspects of economics. He said. That's right. Probably more studies on the minimum wage and maybe any other aspect of economics. And I said in the overwhelming consensus is That the laws are bad. Is this right? Said, Yet you have almost half of the country. As of January, 1 implementing a minimum wage hike. Why haven't you won the argument? And he says, because most people don't even know the argument. Most people are unaware of the damage being done or unaware that at one time in this country The most likely employed group were unskilled black teenagers. Because they would work for less money than unskilled white teenagers. Because they were young people. They were Earning less money. Hired More like I have a job anybody else? Until the minimum wage kicked in and kept jacking it up. Jack ended up jacking it up. It ultimately discriminates against people who are the least skilled. He said. Most people don't know the argument. Well. My friend already and I then began talking about Trump. And these two stories or join stick around. And a customer came in and talked about how much he hated Trump. How happy trump happy was that Trump was defeated. I already said. Tell me why you hate him so much, he said, because he's a racist. I already said As I started to say a moment ago. What about historically low on black unemployment? I don't believe it. You don't believe that when Donald Trump Was president. Economy for blacks was the best it ever been. No, I don't believe that. What about expanding money for historically black colleges? I don't believe it. Already said What about pardoning Jack Johnson?
