"And our expertise with making television shows. That's how we did that really cool Motor City sway video. Now we're continuing in that same spirit with our expertise and looking forward to coming up in January, and we're already working on because it's very ambitious. Putting together a big virtual event for cots. And for folks who know that organization. They know all the great work they do in how long they've been around, and how successful they've been. Coalition on temporary shelter is is basically the initials there. But, boy, they do so much more than that. So they normally Larry do a big event at the Gem Theater. And I'm a part of called Soup City, and they've turned it into soup City Ah Virtual House Party. Speaking of a great experience, you mentioned the video Motor City sway that you recorded at Hart Plaza as well as the Motown Museum. And now there's a contest. So the teller listeners is we come to the clothes and what that is and how they might get involved. We're gonna interview folks. We're gonna post their videos, and it's kind of a way in the middle of covert to keep the motor city sway magic alive, You know, sway to win. So how did how did they participate? Well there, you know, we're asking people to basically download the video or use the single do a 60 to 90 minute video of you dancing. It doesn't have to be elaborate singles dance groups. We've already had videos come in with that dance troupes. We had one young lady in front of a garage all by herself outside. It's been so cool, make the video And then basically send it in. You can certainly go to San jack dot com Zeal and Jay I see calm and right there on my home page. You'll see all of the basic instructions on there. Just get involved in. We were urging people Larry to put their own spin on it because I think that's going to be the fun part of it. If you watch the video, we had ballroom dancers, and we had we had hustlers, so to speak, you know, doing the hustle Detroit also, I'm hoping Larry with any luck that Larry Burns and friends and his team From the Children's Foundation will enter the contract. I need to thank you personally, now, publicly because you're allowing us on caring for kids to use motor City sway is our theme song. So thank you. Love it. Love it. Love the vibe of that I love I love how Detroit centric It is and s so hats off and appreciate it so much, Larry, You're welcome to any songs I have and thank you, and I'm glad you picked that one. And and I will say, Larry from the beginning. I think you are more confident about the success of this record that I was the only reason I say That is because I love all my records are all like my kids so long to create them, But you had an instinct for it. And you're also a big fan. You're you and you're not a casual fan. You're really embraced the idea. You're a real audio file, and and I I really loved your support from day one on this. Well, thank you. That was easy. Once I heard individual songs you sent me and then the whole record, and I knew it was gonna be a home run. So thank you. Alexander's on check for all you're doing in the community and for the allowing us during this cove it to listen to music and to make lemonade out of lemons as you mentioned,.

"De Niro smoking a cigarette? That little bar in Queens and as a hormone, Fauci? Locked it up over people dying. You'll be here a while, be Pacino. Our next guest actually started a movie with both. Of course, the movie was the Irishman and I thought, Bo and so did you. Bernie actually stole the show. But before we get to all of that, Let's welcome him back. He was on vacation for a couple of weeks. We missed him our Tuesday morning guest, Dear friend, Hero cop. Great actor. All of it. The great Bo deedle Bo. Welcome back. Good morning. How are you, pal? Big boat in the morning. I wish shows obligation. I went on the surgery Tuesday before Thanksgiving. And I had a surgical procedure reattached by Vice up muscle. I, too, right hook on the heavy bag that ripped out Once he went into the shoulder. They found out that my road recovers ripped to shreds. So now operation turned into a 3.5 hour operation. Quite painful and recuperating now, But let's come back on the show and pledged in with you guys. Great to have you back. You know what I was saying? Before we brought you one and we're glad you're feeling better. But obviously we love you. But I was saying before you came on, we started playing exclusively Christmas music here on the program Monday. Bernie and I in the Christmas spirit. Of course, John and Margo, Councilman TT's the same and I said, Look. Say what you want. Nobody made a better Christmas party all those years at sparks Steak house then then Bo deedle. We missed those parties. Those were great. We used to shut down the restaurant. We have the Del Vikings on one side. The original Don't bite. Johnny Maestro on the Brooklyn Bridge. Donny was still alive. We have them there and we have great parties. Trump everybody in the world would come open Invitation 500. People pray to that. I was a proprietor, owner piece of a place called String fellas. And on 20th Street. We used that you wanna have some funny by the way. That's where I had my bachelor party when I got married in 92 spring follows a strip joint. Yeah, Pardon me. I withdraw the comment and you still used to go there. We accept the place down and then around seven o'clock I come on the stage and so Everyone is welcome to stay. But at 7 30, it's going to turn into entertainment Me. Females, males Everyone's week. Welcome to stay, but there'll be some nude entertainment. Everybody stayed in the room. That's where that's where I met my wife. By the way, That's why you always spent a lot of money. There's supposedly Alex Rodriguez. When he would come to town. Not when he was on the Yankees when he played against the Yankees. He would spend a lot of time with that place votes. Supposedly, I don't know. You know, Just funny is the guy who was in trouble with some some wise guys, the old money and he can't I went there and I saw it. I said, looking well straightened out. Just here's my card. Dumbo, you know, talk to me, So I had Jimmy the legs over there, and all of a sudden there was another Jimmy the Wedge was representing media. And then there's just big Russian color that was in there one night. Really bad guy about 6 FT four. And Jimmy the ways that innit into it with Jimmy punched about everything and really just number on him. And that all this is special limitations over everybody looks so good. So good. So so make a long story Short. Yeah, became fresh. You have to give me a piece of you know, you got 15% Just just let me drink here and have a good time. That's all. That's what I did. I mean, that's the reality. You know what you guys were talking about with Staten Island. You know, the sheriff's department is a fine good idea, like they call him buffs because a lot of them wanted to come on the NYPD and they could get on. So they take the shirts of bucks, but a good dig the people I know what it shows him, but but their jobs. That's the served warrants to repossess things repossessed because that's what they do. They drive around. And if your car's too many tickets, they call over the hook. Now they made the uniforms look exactly the same as the police. Almost and the cars look almost like the police the bombing and you'd be useful. The governor and the mayor using my bathrooms, and I'm sure these guys don't want to be doing what they're doing, and it's just horrific when you have to send 15 guys, plainclothes. Radio cars and everything and you send them to pick this guy up over there. This here I call him a hero because he keeps going back at him, and they send it back over there. And the next thing is, they treat him like he's a non some. Where all these brave boys why don't we get the sheriff's out of speed on patrol and later and start taking some of these guys with guns and some of these robberies on the street? I got Mom ready. Let's get the ties of a little better make him give him power of arrest. Let him go out there and get the bad guys that'll be arrested. 80 kinds of guns and robberies. People get punched in the face. Let's utilize the crimes. Not Ah, body stays open during a pandemic. This is so ridiculous. It's so aggravating. Yeah, that would make common sense. Of course. Yes to actually utilize them to Ah, fight, fight the thugs in the street. Let's go after he's struggling business owners with Well, I guess they're not toy cops. Whatever the hell they are not like I wouldn't. I would go. Absolutely. But you know if they wanted them to help the city, That's something that helps this city all hands on deck. And speaking with please. We lost someone. A lot of people Maybe remember Larry Burns. Larry Burns was the deputy commissioner of public affairs. He retired from the police department about a year and a half ago. Now, Larry He was the brother off. Any burned anybody was a cop. When I was on the force in Jamaica that was killed by that piece of garbage. Hey, was shot. He was protecting a witness, and he was shot in the back of the head while he was in a police car in uniform. And then after he got killed the brother The brother Larry Burns came on to the police department because his brother was killed and he just died of a heart attack. His dad, Matt Byrne, was lieutenant that I worked with over the years. Also, when I first came on the force, it's just a wrote me. The Burns family, My heart and soul goes out to the burn family. Their family was all involved with the police department. And it's just terrible this time year and all that. But, you know, I remember that he actually the guy that killed him. That animal that was part of his Initiation. They said to him, He was like doing drugs in some apartment. They said. Hey, if you wanna be one of us, you gotta go kill a cop. And it just so happened that he was sitting outside. Yeah, happy lately. Yes, yes. Yeah, I think so. So, So one of the stories that is getting a lot of headlines today. Bo has the governor Andrew Cuomo. But I know Bernie played this earlier. The going back and forth with Dr Fauci yesterday. Maybe you haven't heard this. Maybe you have you may have played here again, Matt. This is the back and forth between Governor Cuomo and Anthony Fauci yesterday where they happen to mention two guys who you know very well and worked with. Maybe we enlist you doing with you. We're doing ad telling New Yorkers It's safe to take the vaccine to, uh, you know, put us together. We're like the modern day..

"So we had all going on there. And Larry burns his stepped into to help us out. We appreciate that. I'm wondering Mr. Courtney, and and dick you weigh in because you're very very much sports guy. To when when the fan gets a ball like the album pools by Volvo that was such a big win and the team generally goes out. Both teams went out try to could you'll negotiate Oshii eight this guy to give up the ball. They offer a lot of stuff autograph, bats, whatever. And the guy said, you know, thanks anyway. But I'm just going to hang onto this ball to say generally, don't I thought the fans generally don't react well to that. Well, in this particular situation, it is a very special milestone ball Albert pool as I mentioned not long ago in my sports cast RBI number two thousand joining only Hank Aaron and Alex Rodriguez the only players to reach that milestone since nineteen twenty when the RBI became an official statistics, this young man, ally hides. Just sat down and gets this ball. Didn't even realize the magnitude of this baseball in its place in history. He was there basically to watch the game and have beer as he said a man after my own heart, but I digress. Both members of the Tigers as well as the angels went to ally gave them their best pitch as to you know, we'll give you this. If you give us the ball to his credit, Mr. pool halls after the game said, look, let the guy have it. You know, we're here to entertain the fans, and I'm sure Albert would like to have it. But he said he's not going to pay any money. I know there are autographs involved in this that and the other thing, but the interesting thing is yes, major league baseball said that they would not authenticate the baseball if he left Comerica park, meaning look pal. Often. Oh because he might self. It's always blackmail. That's just ballpark. We will not authenticate that baseball is being the one. Wow. Of course, not somebody could go home exchange a ball. And later on say, here's the ball. And it really isn't the ball. Right. But I think all ally has to do if he ever wants to sell this baseball is, you know, show the video that's been seen by everybody. Now, he just you know, he's got a brother who's a big Saint Louis. Cardinals fan Albert pools had some great years in Saint Louis, and he said he might just give the baseball to his brother who will probably interred sell it. But anyway, interesting scenario, but usually those usually the fans that catch on notable ball make some sort of a deal right there at the stadium. Don't they? Right. What's your best time to get all kinds of swag, bats, and balls and pictures, both teams gave them their best offer in you know, he say, you know, what I appreciate to hang onto this ball. Apparently. Though, as the story goes ally was not happy with the way, the bartering session went down. You know, does he want cash he said he doesn't want money trying to get this guy on and just talked to him and say whatever we could have Steve sign a ball and make a trade goal. Yes. How about that whole in one ball there? You got several of those, you know, resemble the hole in one, and I don't want to talk about that. It was number nine south. But that's all I'm going to say about about one hundred and fifty two yard into a slight breeze. He's very hesitant about this. It should have gone in the whole 'cause I hit it. Perfect six forty-three jail. It was something out. Yeah. Hi, it's Jamie, progressive's employee of the month to month in a row. Leave a message at the. Hi, jamie. It's me, Jamie. I just had a new idea for our song what the name your price tool. So when it's like tell us what you want to pay..

"Madman Mike steps he's turn enough making it sound so good for us here. He's madman asleep. He's a madman, man. I cut his magic, Mike. And in this segment. We always always liked to go and check with our man are other mad men are medic Mike, Mike Brennan. He's my tech news come in. He has everything that's going on with technology here in the great state of Michigan. Mike, are you there? I'm here. And I don't dance will just wanna point that out to me of being magic, Mike take lessons. That's what I did. Okay. Speaking of someone to take lessons from Linda turn you over to Mr. Casten Thomas guys, tell us what's going on in headlines with Mitek news. What's exciting, Mike? Well, this last week at Ford's CEO Jim Hackett was at the Detroit economic club talking about self driving cars and well now four to saying, well, maybe we'll get some problems here. This is the you know, the estimate for how quickly these are going to catch on his words over stated over estimated. And so I didn't really I've heard all this happy talk for a long time from the automakers. But how quickly he was gonna come. Right. I take exception. I think that all the happy talk was coming from Silicon Valley and the guys who didn't understand all the complexities. I think that Ford GM and Chrysler have done an excellent job in one. Putting forward the technology, and you know, the whole. State is rallied behind that. But I found the height coming outside of the big three. Well, yes. And no. But I mean, even internally if he would have talked to the GM Florida people they were saying twenty twenty one twenty twenty two that we'd begin to see. Tier two and three elephants are already here. But I mean, he's just saying it's more complicated than they thought. And so the other issue is how quickly are consumers going to buy these vehicles? That's, you know, do we have a market, right? So and as I've always said, the only place that I want these ton of vehicles are in the roundabouts because people do not know how to drive in the roundabouts. Got to be an an Arbor with all of our national students that are just learning to drive. Well, up in my neck of the woods is not even any better in these people been driving for thirty forty fifty years. What other news? Do we have in in headlines that we can talk about this week might well, I kinda wanted to use that as a segue. If you don't mind, the big one of the panels were having not tectonic is gonna explore this very issue, and we have onto some real heavyweights way of Michael has lose the new CEO from the American Center for mobility. We have carry more meme city, we have Steidl. Everybody does Kirk. He's one of the national experts in this area used to be the director. Jeremy McLean from continental and they're going to be exploring this along with Larry burns, who you all know who is our morning keen on talking about the impact of these town of vehicles on everything. And not everybody knows who Larry is. Who is hope? I'm sorry. Yes. Well, Larry burns longtime EP of our for this to initial company called General Motors. Yeah. Okay. He was a longtime. He retired recently. He's consulting for Waymo, which is a Google. And and he's one of our morning keynote. This whole issue will be explored more in a couple of weeks here. And I'm going to be participating in one of the panels on security of the internet of things. So you've really put together a stellar time..

I think I think you were trying to say buyers were doing good for these folks, it it didn't sound that way to me that lady had no business putting the coffee between our legs who drives down the road and tries to put Craner in their coffee cream comes in the coffee. You order it that way. Keep screaming their car, Dan to be fired. She wasn't she wasn't driving and they were parked. And it was she was in the passenger seat. In the passenger seat coupe carries cream in the car. And that's why they said that she was when she did. Negligent on her part. But at the same time one hundred and eighty degrees hundred ninety degrees versus one forty. That's pretty far and above. And so yes, she did. But the car the coffee can't be brewed at one one forty. It can be stored long term that that rate, but it's got to get up to about one hundred eighty five to one hundred ninety five forty seven perks. Dan. I would love to spend more time. We, unfortunately, we're at the top of the hour, would I gotta go and we've got judge burns..
