Hundreds of them affecting flyers traveling through our three major airports. Let's take you live tonight to Michael laris. He's transportation reporter for The Washington Post, so good of you to take a few minutes to be with us, Michael. You're reporting this stoppage was the first of its kind since 9 11. Can we talk about the impact this has had and really is still having even as people try to get a flight tonight maybe. Yeah, I mean, I think it's shaking people coming after the big problems that happen before and after Christmas, the airlines say that they're working through the problems that started with the FAA. Today, the transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg said that those are going to continue to ripple through the system today exactly what's going to happen tomorrow is still remains to be seen. Can you talk about what system exactly failed to the best of the description from the feds and why did it lead to what it led to, which was this big mess in the air and on the ground today? No pants no problems. I mean it sounds like there was one pretty big problem angus. His pants fell down in the middle of a public place. Oh yeah. I guess was super embarrassed. There was absolutely wicked of rosetta. And i don't mean wicked in the way my friend english williams says thus wicked in it but anyway this prank is two main. Yeah everyone has a different opinion on this prank. That's why it's so good to check in with the brain. Trust and see what they think of no pants no problems on my gosh staffy so embarrassing sushi underwear will if someone does me. I'd honestly probably a grudge for a long time. 'cause vastly i always have this motive to fit in and not to be embarrassed panting. Someone prop lease like. I've never had it probably gonna be. I know people who have it must be embarrassing pretending like going like that and then the person like jumps or like gods themselves is funny but not actually like actually doing it is not so funny because it leaves them with a very embarrassed day. There's a difference someone lost with you at you. You could feel real embarrassed abuse laughing at you or could laugh with them. So it's kind of like being a bully if you ask me like people like people love if someone shunt really hard feel. It's a bit like that Especially if it's in public. If it's like imprvement i'd probably still be annoyed but probably not as annoy So no funding games. Yeah well that's why. I hired an ethicist to walk around and give thoughts on the pranks. Okay well whether something is a good prank phone on depends on how the person who's being pranked feels about it if they going to enjoy it at the end of it all then. It's a good prank. But if they're not then it feels less like a fun prank and more like a bullying prank. Something that leaves the person feeling isolated and upset. So it's really up to angus to decide whether no pants. No problems was a good prank. Oh not basically this. This idea that philosophers call moral lock. Sometimes whether we've done something good or bad is out of our control. Imagine if i took all your money and used it to buy lottery tickets. Did i do something good or bad bad. Here's the other part of it too. We're constantly being told especially young. Men are constantly being told. That being married sucks it's boring. Oh you got kids. life is over. We're sold that message on top of it then on the other end of it. Is this plethora of availability through all these apps and stuff and you can go on apps and see people who just want to have sex. And so i. I think all of these factors playing the to saying what what are the statistics on People staying together find each other through these dating apps. It isn't it isn't getting better. Isn't that part of why it's had so much. Success is the people that actually use these apps. And that's a good question. I believe i mean. I think you're right because you've got to think there's there's some argue i think either case. That would actually be good right less people. Maybe less people are getting married but the ones that do more of them. That's what i would think. Is it you you get to filter out so much more man. Then i start hurting and i'm convinced that a hernia surgery has gone bad and is not working or i'm having a reoccurrence haven't how many how long has it been since i've had hernia surgery. Fifteen sixteen weeks and it would still. It should still hurt. I don't know. But i and then i convinced myself that the surgeon is really a far left like bernie sanders supporter and he just wanted to do some damage when he got in there and not really do it right. It is just kind of. How long is my groin going to ache. And no one wants to have an achey groin. You wonder why i'm cranky. That's.

Come to this one with me was another one and he would talk and he was funny but he would listen. And you know people say to me. How come when. I meet your not the same way you are. When you're on the radio. I said but in many ways i am like this conversation right now around a dinner table with friends or this is how i talk but when the issues are so serious when the future of the country's on the line how can you not be passionate. If you're not passionate over steak but how can you not be passionate. So i'm the same person. It just depends. On the circumstances he was always the same person he wasn't always performing when he was at the table. But anyway i'm nine. I'm not conveying this as well as i should. I just want you to know.
