The Promise of a New Covenant (Ezekiel 11:18-20)

"Ezekiel Chapter Eleven versus eighteen to twenty. When they come there. They were removed from it all it's detestable things and all its abominations. And I will give them one heart. And a new spirit I will put within them. I'll remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh. That they may walk in my statutes, keep my rules obey them. And they shall be my people and I will be their God. These, these verses are like. Drinking Water in a desert when it comes to reading through Zeki Lange's seeing God's. Just and righteous judgment upon sin and idolatry and immorality among his people. And yet in the middle of chapter eleven here we see this promise. That God is even in his discipline, God is accomplishing purpose and will one day restore his people to himself remove these detestable things and abominations for among them. Then, we'll have a new spirit in them. Remove the heart of stone. God says removed from their flesh I'll give them a heart of flesh that they may walk in my. Keep my rules and obey them. They shall be my people I will be their God. Now, this is one of couple of places in Ezekiel or we see prophecy. Promises of the new covenant. which by the way is what tested means Covenant between God and his people that Jesus would make possible as we get into the New Testament of the Bible. and. The book of Ezekiel in the sense especially as we read about judgment after judgment after judgment from God. Is a clear reminder. That we need God to do what we cannot do ourselves. We need. God to save us from our sins. Forgive US cleanse us from our sins. We need God to give some new spirit. Put a new spirit in us that enables us to walk in his statutes, keep his rules and obey them. We can't do that on our own where we got to be so careful. As followers of Jesus says those who've trusted in Jesus not to live like we can obey God's statutes and rules walk in his ways in our flesh on our own we need his spirit inside of us. Leading, guiding, directing, helping, empowering us to live according the life he's call to, and that's exactly what the spirit of God is. Four. So I just want to encourage your Dan WanNa pray accordingly that you would not live today in the flesh meaning in your own attempts to say God into do what he has called us to do but the you and live in the power of the spirit of God in you who enables you to walk in God's statutes and keep his rules and obey them that you. I would live spirit filled spirit directed Holy Spirit empowered lives and God may be so. We we we praise you your grace. We. Praise you for your provision for our salvation is we praise you for doing what we could not do. We we praise you for doing what we could not do none of us. The best of US could not do none of us can keep all of God's rules and statutes and laws. We have all rebelled against you God and Jesus. Alone perfectly obeys perfectly fulfills your law. We praise you, Jesus. As the senlis perfect son of God. WHO CHOSE TO PAY THE PRICE FOR OUR SINS on? Across Rose from the dead and victory over sin and the grave, a Sinden Heaven and set your spirit down. into our lives as we trust in you as we look to, you place our faith in you. You've put your spirit and so with your spirit us, we pray today lead us. Guide US direct US enable US empowering us. By your spirit to live the full abundant life, you've called and created us to live. We just confessed today in a fresh way. We can't experience that kind of life on our own. We need you your spirit in us to empower us to live the abundant like you've called is to help us to walk in your statutes. Today help us to keep your rules to help us to obeying your good laws today by the power of your spirit in us make us spiritual people who are led by the spirit of God guided by the spirit. Comforted by the spirit of God directed by the spirit of God, Spirit of God have your way in our lives. Today we need you WanNa John. Fifteen five way we say we can do nothing without you Jesus without your spirit leading us. So lead us with the heart and spirit you've given to us for our good and for Your glory. Pratice in Jesus name. Amen.

Simone Vagnozzi - Top 100 ATP Coach

"Welcome to the functional tennis podcast. Great to have you on the show. I've been following some of your work to your instagram account the SP tennis which has been great. You have a lot of great videos with your player Steph. Notre value jet great insight so good work on the videos. Thank you thank you rush. How long have you been working with? Steph no yeah now. He's almost three us that we stuck together when we start together was under folding war. Right now is. At and the seventy four soy than is good work yes going with the rankings. Going in the right direction that's great. There's so many Italian players now like of all ages doing really well. What makes Italian tennis player? So special today you know when when when fairies start to play well pay stock to believe more they are trying more and I think it's also surreal Neatly in the last ten years there are lots of challenges of the future so the young player can play a lot of comment. And don't talk too much so that's really important. That makes a huge difference just having tournament on your doorstep and the cost a pretty low. Yeah yeah that's important. You know when a young player as to travel a lot. A lot of expense soy's School to have a lot of tournaments. You can go by car anoc of time. So it's it's good. It's good to have a lot of tournaments in our country and our Muslim Clay-court. Yes mostly on clay cool by the Easter also. On awkward there is future Lange asking care have five six challenger on our court and I think are on future Soit. Okay tell me used to be that hundred sixteen the world. You're quite young still now. You're thirty six for my research career. Yeah Yeah So. You're young coach. Many years you've been coaching and all this is the fifth year. Starting tomorrow you cannot do. I coach him for three years. We had the good results was seeking to me reached the semifinal embarrassing Iran and the U One. Three hundred so it was good works together great and just come back before you start working with him so we just mentioned briefly. Italian Tennessee student so well but apart from all the challenges that run initially every week every two weeks is a futures on all the time. What else has changed and Italian structure from the time? When you play tha now. I feel like I was coaching Michael Owen when they reached the semi final in various sets. And the think diesel Morris The Star of other player. They start to believe because Marco was was not so young was twenty five and this time and it was bad that they were trying a lot to get on the top under saw being challenged our soul the other player stuff to believe that they also can make this result and another feeing each that a lot of ex player that start to coach before when I was playing when it was playing. The EX-PM was just making a clip. Coaching all made promise zone than just this work. And now a lot of a Other player like an awfully cheap oil Francesco. Aldi very By that these teeny day are making a damn making professor coach in this one. I think the change. I'm not from the player. The money must be better in coaching. Then that's what that means for sure with a price money price. Monday is getting much much so that the player can make more investments on his stuff. You mentioned earlier before we start to call your from the AD excited to coast in Italy. You REMEMBER PESCA. Solido lost yes. He was from decide where my family's from the frozen on a side. Yeah Restaurant yes he does. He still play. He doesn't play. Does he still coach? What's he up to ask coach? Shell for for the racial. I think it's the Sabadell for under sixteen in Italy so it's traveled sometime with a young player during good

Oil prices steady, on course for weekly gain

"And oils heading for its first weekly gain since early January off the prices from the floor amid uncertainty of the impact the crane of ours with plus would respond with additional production cuts very pleased to say we joined here in this year by running a sale who is the CEO of of the Austin oil and gas explorer and the welcome for to the program right now thanks very much indeed for being with us let's just get a picture of the moment over the oil situation because we see all kinds of moves a concern we have B. P. you cool speaking this week talking about moving beyond the oil and set me being Colvin free by twenty fifty how what's your reading at the moment of aware of where the oil market is in the legs like the latest precious not only from environmental concerns but also from falling bond from China well I think the the art market is heavily impacted entry does by the corona virus old tree disinfected at the moment I haven't seen anybody who has not the flu although he wasn't in China so that it's very much driven by the demand side but the our markets to have the systematic that the supply side can react sewage heavily depends on pack we do see that Libya is off production we are missing about a million barrels per day so this is stabilizing the market the people are not realizing that this is let's say a potential also for the downside of the our price because if Libya comes back and they can restart click click then we do have a large over supply in the market and we need to see a more heavy a reaction from all packed than just the six four thousand births per day they are discussing at the moment so where do you see the fool for oil prices than right now well we do think that we have a sixty dollars per barrel for twenty twenty which is less than we have seen last year but this is of course taking into account that there will be a stabilizing fundamentally especially by old pack if they don't react on the miss balance in the market then we are going to see a floor which is more the fifty when we talk about some of your specific areas where you're in Romania is a very interesting error if you the Neptune project but how is not progressing how closely you to decision on this this project well it's everlasting story to be honest you know we we have such a great project there we do see some progress as we speak about the frame work so the government is working although we are going to see another election up coming in Romania but I'm very confident that the parlamentarios approval process will take place and that we do get a and improve offshore lores so that let's see the economics we are calculating will be satisfying yeah we got X. yeah that's that's that's the that's the second point you know how how you should dance a tango you know and this is the open question and Exxon is started the pro says and we don't know about the timing and it's up about the bits which are coming in and Exxon only can answer your question so from our point of view it's very important that the OMB has a chance to take over the operate to ship because we have started the project from the very beginning and to if this is going to happen then we can keep the timeline for the development that's our main interest yep but we will not go for the fifty percent share of X. on what I'm up to date guidance can you give us a Libya production this year right now that's a difficult one yeah from from my point of view Libya will will stay offline for longer yes so I think there is not an easy compromise set by the two parties fighting each other so that's why I think that the courts will be blocked for longer I am not expecting to see it shortly so I'm calculating Q. one like last year well we had no production in the first quarter so hopefully it will start to come back second quarter but nobody really knows find what does that mean for overall production for twenty twenty them over overall production we have guided that this is about five hundred thousand per Spiti we can keep this but this is of course heavily depending when Libya's coming back yeah if Libya is offline the entire year then the number might look lower and finally what about new stream to where we will not well we are we have seen so much progress so far yeah so not seem too weak sergeants on love there's no clarity on the time I nobody knows I think and if we do have a concept plan B. being being explained by I do not seem to company I think that I can give you a better answer timing is a question mark about what is for sure is that the sanctions have blocked the pipe laying activities it's only a remaining five to ten percent of the overall construction Lange's as so we need to find out and don't seem to company needs to find a proper ship which is not affected by the sanctions and I think they're looking around Rhonda I'm really interesting I outlined by BP's new CEO of how they gonna tackled climate change of course the criticisms whether they wasn't necessary enough given a detail given up but the the time line on this website the starting point is that of where they actually want to go can you give any kind of guidance like that own in these plans I'm towards any form of carbon neutrality well I'm not not such a big fan and to have of fog the vision for the year twelve fifty to be honest and I'm I've I'm I'm afraid that the young generation is not waiting for a twenty fifty that will be going to solve the subject I think the they are urging us to demonstrate that we do have short term solutions and we focus on that for short term solutions envy will not so heavy engage in renew books I think there are many many companies who are now getting the call we will go and invest into recycling especially we will take care of all the plastic ways to recycle it we will prepare ourselves for a hydrogen company run a thank you so much for that run a sailor that see over the Austrian oil and gas explorer in V. joining us live in the daybreak Europe Steve thank you so

Royal family not happy with Prince Harry and Meghan's announcement to "step back"

"There was big news out of the U. K. yesterday yes even if it was not obsess about the Royals or even watch the crown this is a huge deal I know feels crazy even say it but Meghan Markle and her husband prince Harry wants out the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dropped this bombshell announcement yesterday saying they intend to step back as senior members of the royal family and work to become financially independent so I think we can cue the Mets sit jokes you had to say it not me so to help explain what this means return to NPR's occasional Royals correspondent Frank Lange fit in London Frank this is massive I my loss words it is everybody's talking about it it knocked the Iran story that you've just been talking about a right off the front pages your couple tabloid headlines from this morning the sun civil wars Harry and make with the Royals the Daily Mirror he didn't even tell the queen eight the queen they did not give the queen heads up apparently not from everything that we're hearing the palaces quote disappointed that's what sources are saying and and the house put out a statement last night saying discussions with the couple are early stages which sort of sounds like it was a foreign policy statement right and here's the quote we understand their desire to take a different approach but these are complicated issues it will take time to work through sounds like yeah the the queen might not be so happy about what is yet one is not pleased by this clearly yeah so what is this and what was the announcement what are they gonna sue the details seem to be this school they would split their time between the the U. K. and North America the assumption is they're talking about Canada which is a Commonwealth country they're going to create a new charity and and the big thing I think is they're not gonna be doing all the ribbon cutting hospital visiting or playing sort of by the rules of the British tabloid press which is lots of access at least in terms of like pull reports and they also said they want to earn a professional income but it's not clear what they mean by that you know Harry gets a lot of money from prince Charles his father's estates out in Cornwall and mark what's a successful actress but she's not expected to return to TV some people are joking on Twitter that she could in the end play yourself in the final round which I watch obsessively it was interesting though I did see that they've got a website already up me and Harry that and I got trapped in that rabbit hole last night looking at their explanation for for how they would try to separate financially it is super complicated but at least they're trying to be transparent I mean we have to address the fact that Meghan Markle it has been a tough road man I mean it is one of the time they've been clearly unhappy in Harry has never like this role if you just watch and he's a very very personable guy and very popular here but she was targeted by the British tabloids the couple actually last year soon one of the tablets for invasion of privacy for bringing a letter that you wrote to estranged father estranged father and that she also died a TV the television station here in Britain talk about heart how the scrutiny had been hard to take and this is what you said when I first met my now husband my friends we're really happy because I'm so happy that my British friends said to me I'm sure he's great the tide is the British tabloids will destroy your life and get it I mean she she gets it now clearly yeah NPR's Franklin fit in London with this big announcement out of the U. Shopping For Going Out Clothes at Age 37

"Like grocery shopping. That's why this podcast features funny stories from fantastic writers about our daily L. E. anomalies a micro audio book about life and befuddle men. Just for you our story. This week is from Shawny silver. Who you'll find wind on medium DOT COM and here is shopping for going out close at age? Thirty seven a scary story to tell in the dark back in ten days time. I'm going to New Orleans to visit two of my dearest girlfriends. We haven't been in the same room together since Obama's first term. This is a big deal a couple of weeks ago one of them texted and asked me how I feel about having having a night in New Orleans. She is my best friend. She knows me well enough to understand that my strong itinerary preference prince is Popeye's chicken on her couch while we facebook stock. Everyone from law school. She knows what she's asking of me. Of course I'm down for a night in New Orleans who wouldn't be in the era of shared ride APPs really have no reason to turn down a a little revelry. I have enough time to mentally prepare myself since day awake past midnight and I have a genuine love of the off Bourbon in St offerings in this town. Let's do this my one true concern wardrobe. I don't own going out close anymore because I do not partake in going out. I don't go to places with lines out front and if I have to scream to communicate I leave. Save the fun I enjoy as a thirty-seven-year-old adult typically happens during the day and I can tell you I enjoy it and save a lot more than I ever did. During the era of my life will quietly call body glitter but I refused to lead an unbalanced unbalanced. Life that only consists of leggings and I- delight inexperienced wonderful places likely to lead to excellent photos. I am jumping into this three sheets to the wind experience. Despite the fact that I'd rather be home wrapped in three sheets so I took to the Internet in order to outfit myself was something suitable for nighttime merriment reader. I screamed admittedly. It's been awhile since I let my FA- Lange's wonder into these e commerce categories but good Lord. I didn't think I'd been in out of the game so long. That actual clothing had gone out of fashion. I didn't recognize any of the garments. I saw and I certainly he didn't know how to ingress or Egress a single. One of them are we- wearing lingerie out of doors. Now is that what's happening not to sound too much like the women in my grandmother's Thursday afternoon Magellan Group but put some clothes on. I just want to to go to dinner and a bartenders in this cocktail bar or two. I don't also want to lose an extremity to the wiles of winter. You're also why is everything tight. Why is everything a bodysuit? I'm not swimming the channel. I'm ordering a young a Pinot Noir. I'm looking through scores of items typically worn by a dominatrix while being paid handsomely for her work and and I simply can't feel confident about my ability to exit a lift in any one of them whereas my solace I ask you. I can't take myself seriously in clothing. That looks like the dog ate half of it nor am I ready to shop. It stores reserved for the ladies who monitor standardized testing. I don't know where I belong or what to wear when I get there. And I feel adrift in a Sea of very restricting and and difficult to care for fabrics in the end I know all go with a deep V.. Black Henley high waisted gene black good evening bag on a gold chain any chunky. He'll suck boot Wing my eyeliner and dry shampoo my hair and hope to heaven. And there's been time for a nap that day because all of these things are what. Make me feel comfortable. And if I'm not comfortable then there will never be a night anywhere that I'll be able to enjoy and that's what you know when you're thirty seven that never crossed your mind. Ten Years Prior no matter how much your feet hurt while wearing address. That didn't allow you to sit down. Oh yes I had my time. Don't wait for me. He if you're still in the phase of your life that requires double stick tape. I applaud you. I was you once. I don't regret that time and I'm not sad about progressing to this time. I just wish there was one retailer who grown up with me. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to spend my day making soup editing. My podcast in reading a book. And if you're spending yours removing hand stamps and wrist spans and frantically retracing the steps of your debit card.

"Simon British prime minister Boris Johnsons Conservative Party swept the elections this week in the UK Johnson now says he has a powerful mandate to get brexit done the terms on which Britain leave the European Union are still uncertain the prime minister faces a country that is still divided them pulling at it seems we tornado in Paris Frank Lange fit in London Frank thanks so much for being with us Hey good morning Scott prime minister Johnson party when the biggest majority for conservative governments and Margaret Thatcher what does that mean immediately for brexit overseas right press is going to happen in fact he will happen very soon he didn't have the votes before that's why he called the selection and he has a really big majority but as you point out the future isn't clear like what's this relationship going to be going for they're gonna have to work on a free trade deal and the interesting thing is I think a lot of people who wanted the you can stay inside the you are very disheartened by this huge majority the Boris Johnson got on the other hand it actually freeze of Boris Johnson to be able to maybe have a closer economic relationship with the E. U. going forward once they leave because he's not beholden to sort of the heart rate was party now anymore the ones who really don't like Europe and so I think it's gonna be really interesting to see Scott is what kind of future Boris Johnson forges now that he has this political freedom he have to negotiate this trade deal with the E. U. N. has extremely time yeah he said he's not going to ask for an extension so is in is there still a possibility of an ideal direction you know Wednesday I might have said that before this vote it's now that he has all these big numbers I actually think that he's gone back on things he's he's made these pledges and then going back on them I think that he probably has the political capital to extend again if he needs to and certainly if he wants a good complex and comprehensive deal he's going to need an extension the idea of doing this in eleven months with the European Union is nobody in Brussels believes that's possible so I I think that the cliff edge that we are expecting maybe at the end of next year he can probably work its way through and then there's the challenge of of what's going on in Scotland because of course the Scottish National Party ran the table did very well in the election on a platform of opposing breaks it and they're claiming their own mandate for a new referendum on Scottish statehood that's going to be a challenge to it's a big challenge and I think that what you're going to see is nickel sturgeon head of Scottish National Party asking for another referendum Boris Johnson has said under no circumstances and in order for that referendum to be real to actually have an effect here it has to be approved by the U. K. government ought to have that kind of referendum what I think is gonna be interesting as you go and get into twenty twenty one of the Scottish parliamentary elections and if the S. and P. does well then it's going to put a lot of pressure on Boris Johnson to continue to refuse this request from you know what look like from the Scottish people themselves if they keep voting in this direction the other thing though that's really interesting Scott as you look at the European Union you know the Scottish National Party says we we want to leave the U. K. and and rejoin the U. we never want to leave in the first place is the European Union gonna be willing to take a Scotland back it does not want to be encouraging countries breaking up so it's very complicated in the next I think the next couple of years are going to be very important see what happens in Scotland for the future of the United Kingdom prime minister Johnson has vowed to get this all done by January thirty one twenty twenty is that possible yeah it's full steam ahead now now that he has this majority it's gonna be opposite of the paralysis that you know I've been talking about last he's got the numbers he's parlance gonna re open next week he's going to introduce his what has been a failed brexit withdrawal agreement up until this point and it should easily pass and I think everyone's expectation is at the end of January the U. K. is out of the U. and Paris Frank blanket thanks so

He's twenty one years old and it was known amongst the community was trying to sing but he wasn't a great singer like his so the kidnappers in the story. They had Sinatra's son in a trunk for three days and they and the story was the kidnappers. Let him out of the trunk on the side of a road and that's how the FBI found him he just let about the trump for no reason so is in the news. Why did they let him out of the trump? So rickles after Sinatra takes a Sabbatical C.'s. C.'s Sinatra in Vegas as like a couple of weeks later and goes frank so sorry about your son. Has Everything goes. It'd be okay. He goes you see. I just saw on the news. They they found out why why they let them out of the car and he said why because because he started singing in the trunk shoot his voice Israel. Good I mean the only guy could say that the French fucking so that. That's a great story. Wow we started singing in the trump that is who we let them out. This is for both of you okay. Funerals held for women and children killed in Mexico ambush

"Funerals have begun for the nine American women and children killed in an ambush in Mexico about seventy miles south of the Arizona border Mexican government officials now believe the killers who opened fire on the families belong to lie Lena part of the plot is drug cartel shot down on it from the top we were they say the attackers entered the territory of the rival Sinaloa cartel Sunday near LaMotta where the extended live parent family lived all members of a breakaway group once associated with the Mormon church local police have been on high alert ever since the two cartels engaged in a gunbattle early Monday morning Mexican authorities believe the gunmen opened fire on the family's three S. U. V.'s hours later first mistaking them for cartel members and family members including Max LeBaron see the group was targeted there's no reason there's no logical reason behind the other than the fact that they're just terrorist organizations they point out that children traveling with twenty nine year old Christina Lange for Johnson say she raised her arms to show she was not a threat she got out of the vehicle she right to try to identify those women and children there and she got gunned down Mexican officials say the first S. U. V. was hit by bullets and explode around nine AM Monday two hours later the other two suburbans were ambushed about eleven miles down the road after that shooting all relative says thirteen year old Devon Lankford hit his siblings and bushes and went for help about six hours later he arrived in la Motta fourteen miles away and alerted family members his uncles were forced to wait for army reinforcements to arrive before they could set out to find the children in total eight children were rescued three are still recovering in an era zona hospital the Mexican president says he is open to the U. S. working alongside local authorities in this investigation and what will work as CBS news see that what is Mexico our Steve Futterman ease into son Steve is to sell the closest city with the medical facilities these kids needed or or was there a rush just to get them to the US well I think a bit of both Steve of that they have a an excellent medical facility here in fact the place where the the children were being treated as the same hospital that essentially save the life of congresswoman Gabby Giffords a few years ago can you explain a little bit more about the community these folks are from in Mexico and then their ties to the Mormons in the US well in the eighteen hundreds these were people who decided to leave Utah because when you talk became a state part of the agreement was that polygamy would be declared illegal uneasily the people who went to these northern Mexico enclaves if you will were people who wanted to continue the practice of polygamy it's it's a bit unclear do some people who are in these enclaves today still practice polygamy perhaps yes but if it is going on it's it's very few people most of the people here have basically traditional marriages but it's a very close tight knit area we always get a sense that the people who live in these areas preferred to be below the radar if you will they don't really like outsiders coming in that much but they have gone back and forth into the U. S. back in Mexico many of the people who live on these enclaves go back and forth many times throughout the year in fact some of the people who were killed were heading to the US can you give us any indication then of why a drug cartel would want to target why would they go after them we don't know perhaps the drug cartel fought the people inside the S. U. V.'s were part of a a rival drug cartel many authority rejecting that claim but it's certainly something that's being looked into CBS is the Fuhrman reporting from Tucson Arizona thanks Steve thank you

"Every single week with deal and she's been privately battling breast cancer behind in scenes and today she's opening up about it for the very first time please welcome our friend part of our family and ABC News Chief Medical correspondent on it Dr Jen Ashton. Thank you thank you Greta. Take us. We've we've all known but take us back to the day when you got the news from your doctor. I have breast cancer answer. This is the first time I've said that out loud so thank you for giving me back it takes a long time to get that out the best places to say it on TV forever so what it was is I went in for my live routine exam my annual screening. I because I have dense breasts. I have a mammogram and ultrasound. My cancer was not detected on mammograms and I got into the room. The mammogram looked good that put the doctor said I laid on the table for my ultrasound and after we get through talking about kids and catching up she wrote a few times quietly quiet for a little longer and she he said I see something I do not like. I see a mass and I need to show you. It is small but this is something I'll need to biopsy. I went in the next day four needle biopsy and on the third day she called me at home. I was with my husband. She said I'm sorry to tell you this. You have breast cancer. Well God terrible double so it was terrifying and it was shocking. I think it was polarizing. You know we just kind of both sat there and there was a long pause and I said to her. Are you sure she said I'm sure I'm sorry great. I always think sort of like our sixth host awesome yeah as you're such a wonderful presence on this show and you always have such a beautiful attitude and we all really love. You and I don't love everybody everywhere. I think is but I think awareness and this bravery speaking about this and I want to ask you Dr Ashton. I didn't know this on average every two minutes. A woman is diagnosed those with breast cancer in this country. That's daunting and it seems like every month. There's new guidelines for Mammogram so one should be getting mammograms. And when should we be doing self breast exams at home. I I mean that's the million dollar question right there so much confusion and controversy even within the medical field about what is the best screening test and I think what we can agree on is that there is no one-size-fits-all screening test for every woman you mentioned the value of ultrasound for diagnosing a mass or suspicious lesion in women with dense breasts. We have to remember men get breast cancer as well and they don't get screened because it's so much more uncommon in in men but I think we need to understand that when you hear those recommendations they are for the average risk woman and unfortunately most women Lake Greta our average risk until the day they hear those words so whether it's emory ultrasound mammogram self breast exam. Sam Clinician breast exam. We need to individualize this for each woman. Although we do base things on statistics and overall groups yes but you we're telling me you actually could feel that bum after they founded on ultrasound could feel oh yeah so what I want. I wanted to say here today today because I haven't been able to say it and that's really why I'm here is that yes we need to get each other to help each other to get to those annual employments absolutely at a minimum Emma without question and I know some people are afraid I've had people say ooh. I don't want to go but honestly take a friend have wine at lunch afterwards. Figure it out a little bit of wind little bit of fun but you gotTa parties parties to sell to these self. Breast examination is very very important for me to get this out. I could have have been the boss of my body and and actually felt one of my legions before my annual my annual exam with my doctor so I I am begging and pleading that we all give each other a little bit a hug and a little bit of love once a month five minutes five minutes a month and I know doctors on. Eh being the same thing first of all. There's no shame in that game. You don't blame yourself because you felt in it but when you hear you know the national guidelines are not to to recommend for every woman to do their own exams because it has a lot of what we call false positives but my motto is if it is attached to your body you you should know what it feels like and then it's up to us in the medical profession to say that something to worry about. That's not something to worry about feel it. If it's part review get to know one of our producers she's been open about it. has gone through the same thing and she said to all of us. Check yourself and so I was eight months pregnant. I was in the shower. I only Meghan knows a story but I felt alum and I was freaked out. I had Meghan feel that I had another friend feel it and I went to my ob and Shenouda my OPI- said this this seemed something being more real you to go get a check so I do the same thing. You did ended up. Getting a biopsy eight months wins blood. I just remember sitting there not sure if I was going to have breast cancer and pregnant when I went home to my husband and luckily it ended up being a fibroid but I said never let me complain about anything else again. You never let me complain about the pain being pregnant but I so much sympathy for what you've been through and what people don't also know is you were only. They said only get your right one. You're left one done right. Yes and you said no I want to do both I want to get a double mastectomy me and then what happened after that so yes my my lesions were only detected in the left breast. I had an MRI follow up after the mammogram and ultrasound and and that actually showed that there was even little it was more fo- side which is basically floating cancer cells that was when it went from a lumpectomy recommendation to a unilateral mastectomy which would mean one breast left comes off. I thought about it. This was maybe the most important pause the guy took. I spoke to a lot of women through network some strangers here's at said friends. I've a friend who went through that. You should speak to her. This was so important critical because what I decided at that moment was totally that I wanted to feel empowered. I I wanted to feel beautiful and better than ever after this. I did not WanNa feel just fine for okay and so for me. I decided to have a the double mastectomy I had decided to have both off and at the end when I got my pathology back. My doctor sat me down and said you have cancer in both breasts. Wow your right breasts did not show up didn't show up anywhere on your diagnostic testing very very tiny but it was invasive carcinoma both ductile. Oh and lobster and thank God made the right decision realising why yeah royal now. I know doctors yes well. Jonkers basically informed open you up to more potential risks right. That's the basic and they taught us that we're here. Yes and I'm so you can the husband. Ricky we also know and love and your boys have been very supportive of course and they wanted to send you a message edge so take us. It's your crew. The boys and Ellie and I am just just letting you know how much we love you you how much we support you and personally these last six seven eight months everything you've gone through. You are my favorite person and I love you and I was just thinking when we get through all of this and get to the other side. I'd how nice would it be if we finally had that big wedding. We always talked about anyway I. I actually forgot feed these kids. I love you. We're going to go but and we're always here in your corner. We're waiting for you right now. At home. "A and b you're going to have to really try to expose yourself to it as much as possible and see continually practice it. Right. And I love how that extends to raising intuitive eaters. Right. Because you know, I I I'm not lucky enough to be a dual language family myself. If I were I would have, you know, whoever among main husband who who spoke another Lange. I would I would definitely have one of us speaking that language to the kids all the time. So that they would learn it too. But you know. That's what we're doing in raising our family. I have two young girls raising them. Hopefully to be intuitive eaters is just by creating that culture in our home in. We never talk about good or bad foods. We never pressured them to eat eat my husband, and I, you know, eat everything in front of them when we go out for ice cream. You know, you better believe meeting to in front of them because I want them to see that. And we talk about how gummy it is. We also talk about how yummy broccoli as you know. Right. So I think, you know, for for people who may be still struggling with becoming intuitive either themselves, but who have kids in her who were wondering, you know, what how can they even start to to make sure that their kids? Don't go down this road is exactly that it's like making your home the environment where your kids are immersed in this in in. Fortunately, I'm just thinking about really young kids. My kids are one in three. You know, the our home environment is really the only environment that they know. So I get to influence that quite a bit and hopefully develop in them the resilience of when they become a older in, you know, they're both girls sewing that gonna be exposed to a lot of the stuff about culture that affects women that they have the resilience in the support to to not go down, those roads in early think that you know, beyond the way you talk about, you know, food and eating in your home. Just just when your kids know that they are loved and supported unconditionally. I think that that really helps them to not feel like they they need to change their bodies in order to earn that love. And so that's that's a huge part of what we're trying to do in my home right now in what I hope other families can can we're towards its wealth. Yeah. And I think it's also really important. Say that. Well, this is preventative this is doing everything we can as parents, and as the older generation raising up the younger generation, it's also not assure fire way to guarantee that issues will be, you know, formulated in our little little children. So the idea of you know, yes, it's very beneficial and positive for families for parents to not technique actively about their bodies in front of their kids. Let's just say or even better yet, not talk negatively about their bodies at all. We also really want to be careful to not ever make it sound like you're you're guaranteed to avoid eating disorders with that type of environment. And or if you did say, those types of things with your children that you are to blame if they've developed struggles right is such a tricky thing. I mean, I think it's very similar to like, you know. We know that, you know, getting five servings of vegetables a day or something like that, you know, is might reduce whatever cancer risk by X amount. But you know, it's it's never going to be a sure thing we just we do the best. We can with what we have been hopefully, don't stress out too much about it as well. Right. Yeah. Exactly. So the idea that, you know, eating disorders or even struggles with food in general like these are not very these are these are very complex conditions..

"Choices on them on what's quite quite go against the grain like on a may yeah tans into this kind of dramatic anna rock thing yeah yeah well that was you know that was kind of because she if you ever met tina i mean that's she has such a love for rock and roll so when she's running away out of the hotel and there's this long seen she's running down this carter i had four things at mine that i was going to write night shows the rock thing which is a precursor to what she was going to be it was it was kind of like a rock feeling but a liberation she's like free and so the only type of music that i thought that could really do that was that bring guitars and and and it was just it was perfect really works yeah one of the shoe that kind of with all at that lange have film projects you can kinda for two ways around for inspiration so did you have any kind of routines that help you stop generating ideas for film i got a clear my head so rather than get more things i got a release i get like i couldn't go right after this gig tonight go back to the hotel and really compose well even though i've done that before on the road i live in the mountains in the city call to panga which is near malibu and there's nothing there but coyotes and snakes so when i do fill music i'd stay in the house for a couple of days i'll watch the film really clean my head out you know all the kids when they were younger they would leave me be my wife when see me and then it was much easier to write that is oh i have to have zero in my head.
