"Your girl your girl's listening, Sure, just waiting, waiting for the money maker. Many spots he's going to tonight, or maybe he just woke up from a nap. Whatever he's doing, he's a man about town. He's a mover and a shaker. It's lighter and here because the ceiling is white, if you if you point the lights up, it gets lighter because it reflects off the white ceiling. He did admit to move in it every day. He said. Everything is in every day. Well, and what am I supposed to do to your co? What am I gonna do standing, you know, you know you don't think you do nothing to him. I'm gonna come in here every day before our show and move the light. Because because I can't stop your go from doing anything he wants to do. I will say since I've been looking up at the light since we started the show I like now I've got spots. Oh, yeah. No, I know you're a mess. You can't read your notes. You want me to read your notes for you to start the show? No, I just I use I like the power play I've got. I've got live Read's guys, So I've got to be able to see celebrities live reads. I can see just fine. Your record trying tow Have your beautiful face show up on twitch. You have the money maker? The mug. Yuriko, It's your face. You're the handsome. Wanna be the summer of your coat. You're the one that needs a cell, The Twitch channel. So all of the people watching People want to see coconut mustard all rights, his nickname, All right. I just wanted to make sure that we covered that. I want to talk to you about this that start bears football. I saw this yesterday and the Chicago Tribune. Right, Big. So you think he knows who we are yet? Probably not S. O Brad Biggs had a column in the Tribune. And here's the so mad about people not knowing who we are love via Fred Day. I'm joking. I wouldn't expect someone is your Hall of Fame induction. I wouldn't expect him to know who we are. Just relax. Hall of Fame induction s O. I wanted to read this to you. Column. Bears have Justin Fields. But what if they actually had landed Russell Wilson, he talked to three Athol executives about the quarterback situation in which one would be better. I saw this. I was like, you know, that's actually interesting. We talked a lot about Russell Wilson. And the Bears trying to get Russell Wilson I thought coming into last season, he was a top three Top two quarterback in the NFL championship level quarterback. He's a guy that I would want to run my team. When you really think about it and how everything kind of Fell. I think my initial response would be. I would prefer the unknown and having Justin Fields going forward. Then then having Russell Wilson Missing out on this situation that the Bears now find themselves in. What? I've always said that I don't want to set up. This isn't the MBA right? Like I'm not setting up the Bears in hopes to go get Russell Wilson when he decides he's tired of being in Seattle, whether it's this year or next year or the year after he's 32 years old, he's going to be 33 this season. He's getting up there. I know quarterbacks and playing longer than ever. Tom Brady, look at this. And these. The guys that are good are playing longer than ever. Aaron Rodgers is an example. Tai mentioned Tom Brady so, yeah, but Russell Wilson's taken a beating like he's running around out there with a bad offensive line. He's putting up good numbers with a bad offensive line, but still You're right. The age of Justin Fields and the potential of Justin fields to me. And you didn't have to give up that much. Because now what would you have to give up for Russell Wilson? You have to give up Justin Fields. You have to give up next year's number one pick what you don't have, By the way it was reported to be, like, three first round picks. Okay, But if you don't have a 2022 1st round pick what are you giving up? 2023 2024 Justin Fields. Well, the the idea would be We're not trading Justin Fields. It's which scenario would you have rather played out for the Bears? Landing? Russell Wilson originally or not getting Russell Wilson not giving up three first round draft picks but moving up in the draft, giving up to selecting Justin Fields. Now you have a rookie quarterback. I man. That's tough because Russell Wilson is a proven you like. You know what he is? There's no Oh, is Matt Maggie going to ruin Russell Wilson. There's no can. The Bears developed Russell Wilson. He is here he has developed. He's one he is set. Justin Fields while we all love him, you and I think he was the second best quarterback in the draft. A lot of people thought he was the best quarter quarterback in the draft. We saw him perform in Ohio State beat Clemson. You went to the national title game this year and lost the Alabama What But There's just something about the age and having him for what could be that, like Are you gonna have Russell Wilson for 15 years? Would guess No, no, he's not gonna play till he's 50. So no, you could have just in fields. If he's good for 15 years like you could. This could be a a decade's worth, if not more. Of Justin Fields, and that's something Bears fans have never had. Because what happens if in three or four years Russell Wilson's decide the amount of wear and tear on his body is too much, and he wants to retire. You're back to square one. Where is with Justin Fields? If he's good, I'm not saying he has to be Russell Wilson. But if he's good if he's a top 10 quarterback, that is someone that could be with your franchise for a decade plus and on the flip side, right? The rookie Justin Fields is completely unproven. You know, Russell Wilson is a proven commodity. You mentioned it, and and the moment that he stepped into how it's all it would be go time like championships right now. Where would Justin Fields you get a little leeway? Right. You get some development time with a rookie quarterback now you and I differ than a lot of people and that development time we think should start sooner than later. We don't think that you should sit a quarterback like this for a full rookie season waste that contract that a rookie quarterback would be under because every minute that he's with the team Now it's ticking down until the moment where he needs that second contract. He's going to be paid, You know, 30 35 $40 million a year as your starting quarterback, So that's the question. I want to ask you. Bears fans. You know, the column was written over the weekend by Brad Biggs in the Tribune. You know the Bears did end up getting Justin Fields. Would you have actually prefer them tow land? Russell Wilson, which is the better scenario, 3123323776. We'll take your calls next.

"I didn't wanna do a normal job. I wanted to work in pro sports. And then i i got to the nfl. And then i got a radio show. I'm a big dreamer. I'm not anti dreaming bic. Trust me. I will always tell and hopefully my children one day i will promote dreaming. I think dreaming bring hope brings hope and can help you get you out of certain times right. But there is a point in time when you are running an nfl franchise when a dream of landing. Russell wilson you have to balance the the real realistic element of it. All you have nothing to give them like. Obviously they'd want your players but if they don't have a quarterback they're not gonna give you their hall of fame quarterback because who the hell is going to play quarterback for them peak sixty nine years old. He's trying to win so he spends all this time leaks to reporters how aggressive they are and ultimately the answer despite all the hoopla and social media and gabbay tried. They had lunch at the north dakota state pro day and he offered all these picks who who cares. The answer was no of course the answer was going to be no. And meanwhile when alternately they get the no answer in the middle of the week ryan fitzpatrick boom goes to washington. So you go well. Who's the best free agent bridge quarterback if you watch football last year. That patrick was dramatically. Better than andy dealt in. Here's the thing. With andy dalton. I hear this a lot. And i got nothing against him. Respected as game. When he was on the bengals he went to the playoffs. All the time with the bengals. In two thousand fifteen jack del. Rio's first year with the raiders. I was doing the raiders postgame. Meaning i went to every home game and the cool part about like working in the nfl working covering a team for a radio station. That has them you get there early. You go on the field before the game. I would get there several hours before the game. I would bullshit with assistant coaches. I would get some good scoop. And i would just kind of the fan in me. Loved watching warm ups. I spent a lotta time around the raiders. I watched ups for the other team. Whoever they were playing. I wanted to see their team. Come out of the tunnel. And i'll never forget that weekend. They opened up with the bengals. And i've been around the league at that time on a very personal basis like being around players and teams no one what it looks like about five at that point. That team came out of the tunnel. And i remember thinking holy shit. I don't know if this is the best looking team in the nfl physically. Just coming out of the tunnel getting off the bus. There can't be better looking teams in the league and five years later now. Six really having been around the league for over a decade still to this day that is physically one of the best looking teams i've ever seen andy dalton. Was the quarterback and those were the marvin lewis teams. That were really good. And that team destroyed. The raiders week. One ultimately went twelve and four..

Seattle Seahawks Today: Latest Rumors On A Russell Wilson Trade

"Originally or a few a few weeks ago russell. Wilson's camp released some information that he was unhappy in seattle. They have not formally requested a trade but it seems like the relationship has some conflict there. he has a no trade clause in his contract. There were specific exemptions from four. Team's the cowboys. The saints the bears and las vegas after dak prescott signed is extent like talked about and the raiders recently have back derek carr. They've given their full support. They they wanna move forward their cars. So that really leaves the saints and the bears as the final two candidates for possibly getting russell wilson this offseason so saints are always in salary cap trouble From what. I've learned about the salary cap they can. They ended up being able to just move money around when they need to. But they're always close to reaching that point so they're always during the cat but it seems unlikely that they will be able to make a move for quarterback this price in this caliber. So when you re comes down to it. The bears like the front runners as the most desperate team. Four quarterback if you've watched the nfl shares have always had quarterback issues. They've been in quarterback hell so to speak for the past two decades and russell. Wilson could come in and immediately fix that so the bears are desperate. And i see the bears as the front running candidate to lead russell wilson or land russell. Wilson this offseason. So when did all this start with russell. wilson is come out of nowhere I would say to myself when i first saw. Russell wilson wants out. I was shocked. But although it's not that cut and dry comes down to russell wilson. Mp carol's relationship. So they've won a superbowl. They made playoffs made. They made the playoffs. Eight times in the last nine seasons which is absurd. It's absurd to think there was wasn't been playing in the nfl for the last nine seasons But he's been assault as they come. He's true winner. he goes to the playoffs. he's clutch and i see. The situation is very similar to the tom. Brady situation new england. You had tom brady and bill play for all those years. Winning all those super bowls and talk. Although tom brady wasn't playing up to his level he wasn't playing bad and they had that loss to the titans of the playoffs. And i think he just had those two egos bill. Belichick and tom brady kind of going at each other. And they've they've finally kind of just tired of that relationship and they wanted to move on. They wanted to start. Something new. And when quarterbacks are with the head coach for so long things start to take a turn for the worst so. I'm not sure if that's exactly what's happening with p carroll and russell wilson but there are a lot of similarities there so it was reported in week. Eleven of the season. That wilson stormed out of an offensive meeting when he was trying to offer insight as to what he wanted done as on a bit done for protection standpoint and so that was the first sign the second sign is just overall. He's been getting hit way. Too much. says he's sacked. He's been three hundred ninety four times since entering the league which is on pace to be the most sat quarterback of all time which is pretty insane when you consider how well he's played and he's just been under duress running for his life literally for the last his whole career and so seattle hasn't found a way to kind of sure up that protection for him. I think that's starting to get frustrating as well. So but more specifically in two thousand twenty. He had a week nine loss to the bills. This was a defining moment for this offense offense because after that moment. Russell wilson had started to throw a lot of turnovers making a lot of risky plays they lose to the bills. The seahawks kind of started to scale the offense back like i said to limit turnovers and did not perform well for the rest of the season so before that game. They were top. Three league based on expected points added per play. They were the number three the top three leak and then after that game from from weeknight on they felt a number eighteen the remainder of the season. So that's a huge huge drop off so they really sputtered down the stretch. They were able to win games and make the playoffs through to their defense. Kind of picking picking up. Their play was weird. Their offense was so good in the beginning the defense awful and he kind of flipped that latter half of the year but he's also getting hit It doesn't seem to meet on their offensive loss of beat philosophy and he. He's definitely voiced that he wants more of a say. In the franchise direction as the franchise quarterback so all these things culminating into one is. Where would he end up.

"It's got the 7 15 7 37 45 88 15 all the blocked. No, no, no, it's all open! Oh, open, it's all Open Everything's open One star review on yelp. One star review on Google, but you think you're getting a good meal. Listen, I where, Where? Where you can't just I'm just being real with you. I was bringing being real with listeners on Friday night. We had a lot of your conversations with what? Because, let's they only have one option. No, they do. They only have one option. That's not true Desperation. Okay? Yes. You have to figure this out so so sitting around and waiting and hoping and developing and let's let the Let it come to us. They don't have that choice. So like when the reports are out there, Brad Big suggests that the Bears are targeting Russell Wilson, and that's their number one target in this offseason. I believe that Don't have reason not to believe that because it's really all they have. See what I'm saying. So like I'm not coming out here with a hottie. I'm not saying like they're gonna absolutely get it done it just how I feel right now. I feel like they're going to With Russell Wilson with somebody a big splash here in this offseason, there's only one big splash. There's a couple splashes. There's two big splashes. That's it Could could you splash in Vegas? Could there be a splash? There is their cars. Their car gets you hot. No, I mean it. Z lukewarm. No, it's not if you're in the freezing cold. That's at least a little little warmth. Car warms me upside a little absolute little warm little toast here. Little warm. I asked Eric on Friday night. He said, Well, I'm usually optimistic. So like I like the way you're going with this, but I didn't shoot me down. Seems like you're trying to shoot me down. I'm not trying to suit you Shoot you down. I'm just trying to to temper your expectations here. I'm just telling you, I started the conversation by saying I don't like Ryan paces of GM. Okay, so I don't have high expectations, but he's dead. Breath. They're desperate. They can't do nothing. I can't. I don't like pasta. But let me go on to caviar and type in Italian food. Like, what are you doing? What? I don't understand what you're doing. So there's some very nice restaurant so you can go in if you don't like that kind of food to get the posture. And I just don't see like what do you What? What do you think they're gonna do? They can't offer anything. They're gonna offer it all. But that's not, but it all but always into it. Enough. What? What? Don't you get about it and Smith have him? He doesn't get to the quarterback from picks. Have him there in 20 or higher, Kyle Fuller. Have him no. Khalil Mack album overpaid, but you figured out where to figure it out. There's nothing is bolted down. You're gonna get salmonella. Listen, they're gonna have a house sale and everything in the house is up for grabs. You're gonna have the poops. From this meal. You're going to get the poop. So I'm just telling you I for some reason, I feel optimistic about this situation. I'm but how What? What? What have they done? I don't know. Let's Elise you to believe at quarterback that they're going to get it done. What have they done? We'll use you. Have you have all the years of Ryan? Pace is no, and I don't like deals. Then why do you think they could do it now? Collaboration You want team Collab, Nick and Cicero. What do you think? Hey, How you doing, guys? Um, sort of to speak to some of that optimism you're talking about, man. I just It seems like every time they talk about Russia, it's always just the Bears are always coming up. They're always brought up. It just seems like we're on a collision course is no, I no, I get it. We're not. We're not, You know, pretty girl dance. What do you want to take us? But, I mean, I think I think Rush is going to be stuck with us. I don't know. See Neha. I like your phone call. That's a good hot. That's a great call. Have to trade him. He shot out to Nick and sister on the Ark. That's a great call Gary in Bourbonnais, Gary, you're on ESPN 1000. Hey, guys, guys, listen. I'm totally totally on the optimism. Train, all right, boom. Two for two. Give what you guys are both things because if we want to be optimistic, whether it be run to Sean anybody We're gonna have to do what we've already done, which is give up all this nonsense like what you did to get your risky. So if we make the move for anybody, whether it be a draft, pick or run or lost in or whatever it is We're just gonna do the same thing. So we have to make sure whoever we get whether it be a draft pick, which I doubt or a player. And like I say, you guys said all the names on the sense. I mean, I'm really not attached to anybody. Nobody's brought up. Nobody's well, if Eddie Jackson yet I would you guys be mad if you left either. I mean, we've got to take him send him. Right, right, so but look paces. He's got to do something like at least at least he's trying. Like what you're gonna do what you gonna do? I don't know. Nobody knows really, except for him, But at least he's trying so he's got to do something. You gotta figure it out. I'm with you, Gary. Thank you for the phone call. See Abdal optimism. There's no reason to be negative. Here. There isn't We understand what's on history? No, Listen, I've seen it. Get it if you don't pay attention you're doing to repeat it. They're bad. Yeah, but they're desperate. That means nothing. I mean, I think this is some. You've taken a laugh when the lights turn on. That doesn't end. Well, well, I mean, sometimes you know that ends with the shame and regret. Well, the floor. Um, sometimes get the test. Floor is sticky and me and smells like urinal cakes in the bar that point in the night thing. Oh, yeah, but But sometimes, you know, like, maybe there's a there's a plate of half eaten case ideas left on the table and and a half Detroit only way drink the on Lee way that this works out for the Bears. Is, if they land Russell Wilson. I agree, Or did Sean wants? No. The only way this works out in the Bear's favor is if it flips and Seattle becomes desperate. One Seattle becomes desperate. Then it plays into your hands. Then you're sending the U ups well, and at that point, it would be because Russell Wilson says Yes, he applies the pressure. He says. I'm not playing here anymore. And now if you want to be optimistic You just improve your odds by 25% but isn't part of math is correct. Yeah, I don't know. Well, but isn't part of this struggle getting them actually interested in you. Yeah. I mean part of it. Yeah, he's already interested Izzy. It's from what his agent says. It's not like someone's reporting rumors, his agent said. Also Wilson interested in the Bears The Saints, The Raiders and the Cowboys and the Cowboys have their quarterback boys. They're done a.

"Saints pro bowl or cam jordan hosting our show with us. We asked him about the possibility of his team. Landing russell wilson this off season and this is what he told us wilson to the science women the damn superbowl man anytime anytime for last couple of years. You've looked at our defense. We've turned a pays in our defense. That have made us more complimentary towards our team as a whole now. If you give guy like russell wilson because drew has retired you deem is so big sale and take it in a heartbeat. Always been a win the super bowl. So but that's that's my that's my vision year so the beauty of that was that marcus and rc. Just did my job for me. I just sat here and listen as they basically backed into a corner and made him say yes. If we get russell wilson we will win the super bowl. So here's here's the game. I'd like to play with you guys now and tori. I'll start with you. He named four teams at some point. They continue to stress. These are not being leaked. This was russell wilson's agent on the record. Giving adam schefter four teams. He'd be willing to go to cowboy. Saints raiders bears. How many of those in your mind become immediate serious super bowl contenders if russell wilson becomes their quarterback tori to who has to be the saints in chicago bears the saints to me. It doesn't take them to the next level because they'd make attendance pass years. Drew brees has played ebbing elite level for years minus last year dealing with injuries. So it doesn't change them as much however this bears you. Add a lead deshaun watson to their team. It takes them to the next level. They have a championship caliber. Defense right now. You add this on watson or excuse me at russell wilson that makes a completely different level and that can get them over that hump. Two of the four says tori rob niche. What do you think you look at those fourteen. How many of them become immediate super bowl. Legit super bowl contenders if they add. Russell wilson i'm right with toria i think two of them and those two teams are the saints and the bears and you look at the saints. The one thing that they don't have and the one thing that they've lacked over the past few years is a quarterback that can run for first downs. So when you're playing drew brees you know he's going to be in the pocket he's gonna throw from the pocket when you're playing russell wilson one of the most challenging things as a defender. Because i've experienced this. And i've missed him is trying to get him to the ground when he's scrambling running around running for first downs leading his receivers on cover. That's the most challenging thing. So if you're you know you're playing against the saints and you're playing drew brees. That's not a worry. You play russell wilson on the saints. We'll guess what they have a lot of weapons that they have a great offense of and defensively. we know they get after the quarterback. So at the saints. I think they make the super bowl the chicago with the defense and just that lack of leadership because once russell wilson walks in that locker room in chicago. Guess what you have a super bowl. Winning quarterback with that automatically brings leadership into that building. And right now. I think that's the one thing that they don't have is leadership. Offensively that says. Hey look follow me. i'll show you where to go. I been there and look those who team if they get them. Watch out by the way. No one sends a better subliminal message than robbing cindy. could we go back to him full again. That is you sacking. Russell wilson in the super bowl behind. You isn't it. Yeah of course but i. i just didn't change. I don't have the picture up. There be missing him in the super bowl. Because i missed him twice so look the only the only put up the good stuff you only. You only remember the bathroom. So the good place. You put up in photos the bad stuff. You just have them up here. Jeff what do you think we. We're talking about the four teams again. The important distinction these are directly from his agent to adam schefter. No one is speculating. This is on the record stop. Where's your sense of the way it's going. Well i think the saints are no but but by the way in that regard when it comes to the bears. The bears to me are a little bit like the bucks last year when it came to tom brady like i think that when you add that piece suddenly the defense becomes more dynamic. Now this is assuming they can get allen robinson at that wide receiver position whether through a tagger a long term extension. But no question in my mind that the bears become a contender just as the bucks did last year. The question of course is one of these actually even happens because if you said the seattle seahawks didn't necessarily have a great quarterback and russell played for some other team. If we put the seahawks in the same position we'd probably say you know. What the seahawks with russell wilson or a super bowl contender. Yeah that's fair. They need to do a little work on their offensive line but generally speaking. I don't think he wants out of there because he thinks they were bad situation. We'll see what winds up happening. Meanwhile but speaking of quarterbacks who did win the super bowl and jeff. That's what you're alluding to. Its tom brady. Who joins peyton. Manning is the only starting quarterbacks ever to win the super bowl with different teams. He did so of course in his first season in tampa and in that same interview that we were talking about james corden last night. He opened up about a few different things here. He is talking.

"What direction do you think they lean? I think they want to re sign. Winston is a free agent, but I think they want to re sign him on and you have him compete this summer with Taysom Hill. Obviously, they liked Taysom Hill. They gave him that chance to go three and one as breezes replacement last year, but they're also Truly high, both publicly and privately on on Winston's potentials. I think they would explore all options for obvious upgrades. If they could somehow get their hands on the shot lattes and Russell Wilson. They would do that. But I don't think they need to, You know? Explore. Maybe that second or third tier the quarterback markets because they do think Winston and Hill are are legitimate possibilities. Theo be, you know, starting quarterbacks and I would love to see that competition. I guess Another one would be Teddy Bridgewater. If he becomes available in Carolina. I mean, they're in some patients said they're in the quarterback business now, so they're gonna explore all evidence. Yeah, I mean, And then all of a sudden, if Carolina Panthers do make a move, and they land to Shawn Watson, Bridgewater's gotta go somewhere else, And then there he might be in a play. I mean, they want somebody familiar with that offense and all of those three names you have have have taken snaps underneath that offense, Mike Triplet, great stuff, man, and we'll wait and see what the mayor decided to tweet next coming up to get our Our latest reading of the TVs. Okay. Name is a lot of moves to make before free agency. I'm gonna have to add her to my list of followed. Yeah, Yeah. "You're wrong about a lot of things, but not the last point that you just made it. And as I was reading by the different scenarios for Russell Wilson going to the various cities and teams that he mentioned on the list or his agent, I should say mentioned on the list that he would entertain. It's important because I was just reading this about Doc Prescott. You know they're not in a position how boys to trade deck. He's a free agent because they placed the franchise tag on him for a second straight year. Will Prescott would have to sign the tender before any trade could even be facilitated. So I think that's another. You know, kind of wrinkle to the Cowboys situation. Yeah, they would have to fork over. Ah, lot of picks, maybe even some some current members on their roster, but The point you made it all revolves around deck and what's going to happen there if they're going to be able to land Russell Wilson, the problem is is like if you have. The problem is this deck is good enough to be a problem. And I mean by that is is quickly is that if you're a bad quarterback, it's easy to cut bait, right? Hey, Gilson, this didn't work out. We're going in the differential. If you're a great quarterback, and Patrick Mahomes, I'm gonna bank up back up the Brinks truck and give it to you. But Jack Prescott, especially coming off the injury is almost the worst situation for a franchise because it's a I think we should do this, but I'm not quite sure sure in this quarterback purgatory right now, that has to be absolutely brutal for Jerry Jones and the DAP Prescott camp over, although he's still probably will make a minimum of $35 million this year, and that will buy you a lot of top shot cards in the MBA. So we get the MBA and resell. He's going to join us coming up. Talk about everything that's going on more. Your phone calls to about where we're Russell Wilson is headed and more Should we watch coach in the commercial breaks that here on the best week ever Peter.

And now it's too Shawn Watson, who has told the new head coach he under no circumstances they're gonna He's not gonna play for the Houston Texans. Or now, Russ. Once it impelled inputs on what's going on up there. He wants some things added, or he wants out like this is a This is a landscape that I don't think many of us are used to. And then the two like Watson and Russell Wilson are in a completely different territory than those other guys. Yeah, those are two of the top four quarter of top. Let's just say be the conservative the top five. When you're consistently in the top five quarterbacks to the National Football League like you, you need to give up whatever is necessary to get one of those guys If it's feasible, so it could be happening at the perfect time. You've needed a quarterback and now some of the Not just good quarterbacks, but two of the greats. Honestly I bet you the Coca Cola Company would sell you a box of coq if you got to tap in your house. You know. So the last movie we saw in a movie theater was birds of prey because. Inspecting, your diaper bag and your baby bags, and so they were already starting to crack down on on my face villainy villainy ways of bringing in a whole picnic and Carl's junior and all that stuff into the movie theater and. "And I! Get in the habit of taping the professors. Professor makes a particularly vicious or nasty or inappropriate comment. They'll to put it on the Internet. I mean we need to help the people who are out here? You know I think something like twenty five percent of all professors now identify as March. Literally Marxist, and of course at the most successful Marxist movement in America is Black Lives Matter Inc which spends about seventy one percent of their money to pay themselves salaries and benefits to third. Two thirds of the founders freely admit their. Marxist, but the media doesn't cover the Organization of course put together. Black lives matter as much as white lives matter, but the group itself black lives matter has received tens of millions of dollars of donations being used for all kinds of purposes. Is it fair to say they are a Marxist generated organization black lives matter. That's what they say themselves. We all three of the founders have said publicly that their Marxist. And, then the two of them have said that they are trained. In Marxist ideology. We're not. We're not the same you know if you dare their statement of Principles it is a very radical replace. You know replace America. a little bit like like Omar. Who instead of being grateful that she moved from Mogadishu to Minneapolis. She's choose for some bizarre reason angry. She's in a wealthier city where women are treated better where she got through the Congress on in her first generation. And her reactions to be angry at American. This is almost psychologically deranged. Another chapter in your book trump and the American future deals with covert nineteen. We'll kill Medicare for all. Please explain. Well I think we've learned by watching the Europeans when you have a public bureaucracy, hell system just collapses when there's a real question, the Italians where the point where. They were basically triaging people and saying to about one third of them. You know if you're over eighty years of age. We hope you survive, but we're not going to give you any. You know we're not gonNA put you in a ventilator. We're not gonNA. Put you in intensive care because we don't have it. And the American system surged amazingly free enterprise came through again and again and again. We're now the world's leading producer of all these various masks and drugs or whatever you. And you, you couldn't do that in a bureaucratic system, so I think as people look at all this GonNa realize that. The competition and send even in private ovation beats government bureaucracy every time. One or two more questions, one is about the politics of Donald. J trump when I speak to trump supporters. They say he's got a big upside, but he keeps shooting himself in the foot by trampling over his his own messages, for example, recently with the the older seventy five year, old guy in buffalo that was pushed over, and then about a week ago, got into the bubble Wallace situate- situation once again to kind of defending the confederate flag going after bubble bubble wallace. He's wonderful in crowds. Policies work I contend that if Biden runs against trump, trump wins. If trump runs against trump, trump's in trouble. What would you have the presence a little bit? Go ahead. That's a good way. That's a good way to put it. As long as I think I think twenty percent. Less. Shooting from the HIP. And he would have fifteen more points to approval. Can he do that? In the next three and a half months? Well, WE'RE GONNA. Find out only if he if he doesn't. Then he's in serious and the countries in serious trouble, because Schumer, and said that the Senate is going to roll over and play dead. Get rid of the sixty vote minimum which case everything comes out of the house open borders whether it's on and Pelosi's trying to design for next year, totally absentee house when she'll be the dictator, in which case the House essentially not even meet simply hey can. You really. Biden wins because he's so weak. You'll end up with government by pose Schumer get out your Crystal Ball I. Won't hold you to in November the third it's night or maybe remember fifth, fourth, fifth or six. What's going to happen November third? WE PICK UP. Two seats in the Senate. regain control of the House McCarthy become speaker and trump wins in a surprisingly big landslide. New, on my I like to hold you to that the book once again is trump and the American future new Gingrich I go from Reagan to Newt Gingrich, the Donald Trump and if you're going to do something about Rushmore, put those three heads up. They're. Very, very new day new. Gingrich thank you very much well. Let's continue with more and I've said it To the family that as long as the president runs against Joe Biden. The president will win however. If you have trump's policies not covered by the mainstream media against trump's tweets well covered by the mainstream media. TRUMP'S GONNA lose. And instead of having a modest change in America which would happen because the Senate used to have two thirds vote to move something not it got down to sixty out of one hundred and Chuck Schumer says we're GONNA eliminate that completely, so whatever passes the house. Nancy Pelosi will pass the Senate and then signed by the President Joe Biden. It won't know. Whether the bill is upside down or not. In which case America fundamentally changes. You and I have known for a long time. Then let's face it. Where one election away from losing the home of the free in the land of the brave and I've heard this so many times well, this is the most important election ever until the next one. But this election remember the third. Is the most important one since eighteen sixty four, but for the military victories Lincoln have won a second term then there would have been a suing for peace in which case the south would have gone. It's way we might have a confederation, but we wouldn't have the United States of America anymore so continue. They've had one winning season in Cleveland and I think seventeen seasons the notion that they've got to make the Super Bowl win the division. What about if you just one more games than you lost because I think this stuff is unfair? Now now the thing with that I do like Baker Mayfield and he's had a chip on his shoulder for a long time. He had it in college. I think that attitude you can tell that it resonated with the fans of Cleveland so I think they're expecting bigger and better things to him but when you add a personality like Odell Beckham and like I said these experts it's different Tony winning five or seven games. The the Texans problem is they haven't solidified a run game with some which at some fun to watch outside of wash it at some point during the year. You're going to have to like I mean during the playoff you're going to have to get guys going on the ground. Now they've shown a propensity to do it at times. But it's going to have to be consistent especially in a game. When people say we not let Andre Hopkins beat us and we're gonna take away your best weapon. But but now we go to the other side of the ball JJ watt today cloudy, and but Najjar McKinney in the middle linebacker spot. It's but it's not. Xy to talk about the colts offense of line has been so damned especially the second half of the season. Can they protect Andrew luck? They ain't gonna particularly cloudy. Why then we have the night game Seahawks. Going in to Jerry's house to play against your Dallas. Cowboys the Seahawks finished the season very strong. Yeah. What do you see from this game? The Seahawks are jecklin high. That's what they've been all season long Santa Cowboys. Yeah. What they went on a run the Cowboys ripped off six straight to be in this position. With Russell Wilson. To me is the scariest player in the playoffs. Ooh. Big back a year ago a year ago when they went to Carolina Carolina are two years ago when Carolina went to the Super Bowl, and then they play Carolina in the first round. Or maybe may I think it was the first round. Russell wilson. Singing singlehandedly kept Seattle in that game and gave them opportunity to win it. That was a great Carolina. Now, I think there's also that Packers. Cowboys Cowboys playoff game. We're Aaron Rodgers is pulled up magic at the end. But Prescott ripped don't. Yeah. So here we go break in this game down. Seattle is running the ball. Really? Well, but you get a as the Dallas because he and office of land. Russell Wilson is playing great you give as to him at the quarterback position. A hearing is set for mid January Lauren fryer NPR news Carola India. There was a cry of grief in the bookish Twitter. Verse recently when it was an ounce that literary magazine. Tin house will cease publishing print editions next June that coincides with the twentieth anniversary of the publication that set set out to shake up the often stodgy world of literary magazines and by all accounts, Tin, Hau, succeeded as NPR's Lynn neary reports. People don't go into the business of publishing literary magazines for the money freelance writer Lincoln, Michelle should know. He wants started one with a group of like minded friends. We published a purely out of our own pocket. And you know, every time we put on the issue. We would throw a party and sell beer to pay for the issue, but we never made any money from it, even the most prestigious literary magazines such as the Paris review or grant have a limited circulation, but says Michelle among the most dedicated readers are some crucial players in publishing agents and editors looking for new talent. And that makes literary magazines a vital lifeline for writers. When writers right? We sit alone in a room. And we spend all our time on something that no one else sees maybe a friend or two and literary magazines. Are normally the first way that people get something published and actually have strangers read it, we are a gatekeeper we find the work and then agents latch onto that foyers. So we've made careers that way rob Spillman and his wife. Eliza Chapelle are two of the co founders of tin house Chapelle says they always knew they wanted to do something different with the magazine when we first started talking about this rob said, if you really wanna change publishing, then you have to get inside the machine and blow it up at the time Spillman says literary magazines didn't have a very appealing reputation, there were conflict castor oil. There were supposed to be good for you. So take your medicine. So they didn't have a lot of art design. They didn't have a lot of humor. So we wanted to interject both of those things. One of the most striking things about ten house is it's beautifully illustrated. Covers. Fulla fantastic, images, and vivid colors. But Chapelle says the changes they wanted to make went well beyond the cover. They set out to publish new writers in every issue, and they wanted to find the kind of writers who were often overlooked by publishers because historically women and people of color any other targeted communities. Literary publishing hasn't been that welcoming. So we really did have to go out and say, we want to offer you a home we want to publish you. And tin house was also open to writing that blurred the lines between literary fiction and genres like science fiction and fantasy. So my feeling has always been the tin house magazine is a place where writers are encouraged to let their freak flags fly writer. Karen, Russell, perhaps best known for her novel swamp land, Russell says she was rejected several times before finally getting a story published by tin house. Eventually she taught in one of their workshops where she also met her husband. Russell says you never knew what you would get when you. Opened a copy of ten house and she felt a kinship with contributors like Kelly link and Amy bender. Tin house was so inviting so beautiful, and so playful, you know, there there was a different different feeling when you picked up an issue. I think they sort of felt like readers all are welcome here. And and these are your people these are the the levers of language, the super weirdos, the poets and the wizards that you wanna be with ten house will continue its workshops and book publishing business, and there will be a digital version of the magazine. But for a lot of people both readers and writers, it just won't be the same. Lynn neary, NPR news, Washington. Some of us can't wait for this. "Bucket chicago land russell william wallace in the final year of his fulltime nascar nextel cup career and as part of his rusty's last call two or he took time this week to look back on how racing has changed since his freshman year in this week's rookie spotlight sponsored by rabe estes the best embrace certified for your safety my rookie vessel effort started back in nineteen eightyfour driving a gator a pontiac back then it was tough i had to go to darlington and now to get looked at by the veterans bill be able to race on the racetrack to look at my performance that's common gone nowadays but i'll tell you what my rookie year i learned so much and i know one thing i was happy to get those yellow stripes off the back of my bomber it was himself on me let's take a look now at mr radios keys to the race sponsored by team valvoline valvoline we're not just on the car we're in it barley hall and joe more situated high above the start finish line here chicago land this afternoon barney this chicagoland speedway so fast one of the most intimidating tracks on the circuit i was up close and personal out there in the corners during the bush race yesterday is it just me or the cornering speeds here as high as just about anywhere we race what of racetracks today that you sit up in the stands or wherever you are and what's the cars go around and they just literally look fast and the reason here certainly is because they are over two hundred miles an hour in the straightaway takes him off into these quarters and keeping that car off the wall during the race that's the one thing that has to be a must if you've got any hope of winning corner speeds as you said are so fast here if you spend you're going to hit the wall and you're gonna hit it hard and nine times out of ten you're through today joe it looks like heat may also be a factor again today temperatures in the mid nineties already and combined with a tough track like this one that's a long day at the office for the guys behind the wheel today at davis ninety five degrees outside here the track temperature is probably gonna be one hundred thirty inside the cockpit is probably gonna be one hundred fifty so the drivers of course in the teams have taken that into consideration today there have been hydrating themselves all morning drinking plenty of water and gatorade getting ready for the start of the race coming up of course be using the cool helmets here today but it is certainly a concern because you know a lot of times if they get into a little fender bender knock in the crush panels on the sides of these cars they can get some fumes up into the cockpit that can be a big issue to deal with on a very hot day like today also for the guys working on pit road and those heavy suits as firesuits they have to wear their it's going to be tough for those guys as well so fatigue and overheating certainly a couple of factors they'll be looking at here today we'll see who's got a little something extra left when we get down to crunch time this afternoon and that's mr radios keys to the race we'll get back to barney and joe in just a few minutes from now with winston kelly adam alexander and steve post patrolling pit road this afternoon where does twenty eight minutes away from firing him up you're at chicago land kevin harvick won the inaugural race here back in two thousand one as part of a magical season but when he returned the following year he was mired in a slump the best way to break out with a breakout win after qualifying thirty second many wrote off harvick's chance for a repeat the only problem was harvick didn't get the memo am are in radio remembers july fourteenth two thousand two in this tough triumph sponsored by hamlin the brand that jamie mcmurray of the texaco hamlin rates team trusts jalan add more life to your car.
