But no, the problem is that making the last of a show, you can just mess up a bunch of cars and put some mushrooms and moss on it, and there you go. That's the set dressing, but to create a giant snake, I feel like the Achilles heel of that Norse God is going to be the special effects because if they aren't what people expect, it's going to be, I don't know, it's going to get picked apart, but okay, we gave moments to shine all the other ones. I have to talk about horizon because I'm also hyped for horizon despite it going to Netflix. Because everybody likes to forget horizon and I love that franchise. I can't wait to see more. But when you picture horizon, what does it look like in your head? What's that universal? I mean, I would love to see, I would love to see more of maybe not the fall of society because I feel like although I think that could be very engaging. I mean, the series is all about the mechs, the monsters, the dinosaurs, the robots. I want to see that. I want to see spectacle. They have a real chance to really make the horizon series this big thing and that's the only reason why I didn't say it is because I'm that's the one I'm most concerned about. I feel like it's going to get the short end of the spear. Yeah. You got to put a lot of money into it to make it live up to the game. And this one's going to Netflix. Is that correct? Yeah. So well then in that case, I mean, they got to get Lance Riddick. He's Lance Reddick has got to return as silence in some form. Which is probably just hanging around at the Netflix offices. We needed Caspian. Let's do a more Resident Evil. He's like, they're like, we haven't canceled it yet. All right, I'll be in the snack room. Hanging out. No, I don't know. I feel like the didn't they announce the horizons show is like set like it's like 20 minutes before everything. I think so. And that's gives me the most concern. It's like, I think it'll be a very engaging, dramatic kind of showcasing the fall of man. But civilization, yeah. But yeah, I think that's probably the way they're gonna have to do it just because it would be a lower budget and then they can be like, well, if this takes off, now we got the money for dinosaurs. That's kind of what they did with season one of fear The Walking Dead, like the first couple of seasons. It was just like, you know, it was when the outbreak just occurred. And then as things have progressed, like I think they're in season 9 now. Now it's like it's the apocalypse. There was an atomic bomb and everything. So I guess if this series does progress and they see if it's successful, maybe we'll start to see some of those bigger set pieces in seasons, seasons two, three, and I think the whole first season is going to be very compelling science, futuristic office drama, and then in the final episode, it's going to end with a shot of a watcher in the eye turns on. I think Brian might have said this on this, but it's like I can completely picture that. We're like, it's all big build up for like one teaser thing and people are going, oh, I know that from the game and then it's like, yeah, but what about shooting arrows at a big robot dinosaur? That could be cool too. Maybe it ends with like a time jump. Like one scene from and then 500 years later. It shows somebody fighting. So I was one of the tribes fighting. I got a robot. Anyway, let us know in the comments what you feel about all this.

"Guys because it was so subdued, so like, brought down to the minimum draw lines, right? Yeah. It was a very minimal. It was very minimal. I almost thought it was. It was like rock art. Yeah, I would agree. But when they started fighting, it worked. There's something about the art and the way it kind of came together in motion, and I think that that's cool. I just realized I've paint all over myself. I realize this is paint on my shirt. I was like, because I've painted my living room. Paint my living room. Yeah, dude, I would agree that that game, they showed it, and then people were like, oh, this is for sure, fucking wolf among us too. This is absolutely for sure that. And I was like, wow, this is rough. The presentation. Although it took me by surprise. When they revealed it was hellboy, it was like, what? Lance Reddick, though, is doing the voice. So like I'm bought in already. Let's go. He tweeted on his Twitter that he was doing the voice and he's my favorite part of Verizon. Yeah, I do wish it was the original actor who did hellboy, but if it's not him, lights ready because probably the only one Lance is probably the only one that I will buy a game. 'cause I was playing quantum break yesterday and I was like, you know what? I mean, I love the game. Better now because patch. But I was like, every time he shows up, it just elevates to a certain point. I don't know, he's just good. He's just awesome. He's one of the most recognizable voices. Well, here's what's weird. You hear him and it's like, it's him. Idris Elba's in another game to talk about. And I gotta tell you, I care nothing about him. Lance Riddick is my like Idris Elba. The moment Lance Riddick's in something. I'm like, yeah. Yeah. And I don't know what it is. So I was excited for hellboy more than anything else. Yeah, it's gonna be awesome, man to see. I think that looks, I think it took us halfway through the trailer, maybe in chat to figure out it was hellboy. Right? Like, it was really hard to tell what was going on. Kick off. It was at first he were looking at the werewolf and you're like, it's a werewolf game, what's going on? And the only way I knew is right before they finally showed him I saw the shadow on his head and there's something about his shaved horns that it's a silhouette that nothing looks like it. It's like iconic. That's everything was so gray. Being read, you're like, oh. That's why I was like, the art style is pretty cool, because the contrast is pretty cool. Yeah. I do think that they minimalize that as much as humanly possible without it just being two colors. It is right to the point. It is, it is. And it's so funny 'cause I like that normally, but this one reminded me of the black and white game made by monolith betrayer. Where it was just almost too much. We'll have to see how this hurts my eyes. Some games feel like they're rough and then you lose what's going on. There's a fidelity and losing what's going on. But the next game horizon call of the mountain VR. Probably the major VR exciting title for PSVR.

Beyond!
"lance reddick" Discussed on Beyond!
"It is in fact horizon 2074, which kind of tells us a bit about what this game is gonna be covering a little bit. This comes by way of, I guess, I guess if you film anything in Toronto, they totally just blow your cover and they're like, here's everybody working on your thing and what it's called also. And I don't know, maybe they should have called it blue harvest or something. Give it a code name. But basically, it sounds like it's gonna be set in the year 2074. And like full disclosure, like none of us are horizon experts by a long shot, like I think that that the game plays cool, but I feel like the story is definitely not a thing that I will say that and this is piss people off before, but the lore is one of the not the least interesting parts to me. I don't specifically connect with the lore in the same way I connect with the exploration and the combat. I really, really enjoyed the first game. The second one, not as much, but the first game I really, really enjoyed because exploring it was really fun, leveling up stuff was really fun beating the crap out of things were really fun. I love the traversal blah blah blah it's gorgeous. But the lore, which ultimately led to me like collecting broken mugs for a trophy. It's not necessarily my favorite part about it. And so this is a prequel story that will establish the, you know, the sort of the actions that set in motion that eventually get to where we are in the games. Hold on. So let's back this up because actually the games do have a lot of stuff that takes place in the sort of the before times, like the before the pre apocalypse, I guess you could call it. And that is that basically all I went to the horizon fandom wiki, whatever. And the sort of latest point in that prior to all the dinosaur robot stuff in the distant future is in the years 2066 to 2068, which is basically when everything dies, like the all exposed human populations, macrobiotic organisms and all marine life are effectively extinct or exterminator or whatever by 2016. Food is gone. Presumably, yeah, and then everything else picks up in like 21 54 thereabouts. When last one. That's when Hades does all the terraforming. So what year did demolition man take place? I should note what isn't it like 2007? Oh, we already passed it. Yeah, I think so. Oh man, yeah. Congrats. Anyway. But yeah, so that's weird. I think our first sort of knee jerk reaction was gonna be like, oh, this is gonna be like a sort of an office facility sci-fi type thing. It's sort of a Westworld or a severance maybe of just being like, here are people who are, you know, they're hard at work, making robot murder dinosaurs. What could go wrong? And then there's sort of intrigue that happens and you get there will definitely be like an evil corporation, I don't know if Lance Reddick will be involved, but he will be on the Netflix show about resident for Resident Evil, which is about an evil corporation. So funny if you played an evil corporation man in Resident Evil and then an evil corporation man again in the horizon show and then they're the same character. He's Albert, what's most. I could see that. I would have a good time with that, actually. And they just never addressed it. Yeah. But I feel like I have to go home to my mansion. I love to light on in the basement wing. Hope I remembered all my various keys. Yeah, so anyway, I'm sure I'm sure hardcore horizon fans have their proper speculation about what this is, you know, obviously we're not we're not experts in that department. So it's interesting. I think this definitely any curiosity I had a sort of a casual fan. It kind of pulls it back a little bit because I was sort of like, oh, they're going to do a robot dinosaur survival distant futuristic apocalypse show. And this makes it seem like not so much. So I'm extremely curious to what it looks like, what it's about. I think you'll have a couple shots of them making smaller scale robot stuff. What's that company that the rose just like they bought some dynamics? They're always just like, here's a guy that could kill you. I'm just going to put a bunch of leds and he on fire on one of those. It was true for Steven spokeman Jurassic Park and it's true now. People really like dinosaurs. If you just show a dinosaur, you've got to hit. And I agree. That's it. I agree. There was a, there's a show a couple of years ago, a long time ago, actually, on Fox, I want to say, I think it was Terra nova, and it started the bad guy from Avatar. Steven Lang. And it was about a bunch of people that accidentally crashed. Did you think it stopped me whenever? The MMO alongside that? I think so. Yeah, yeah. I was literally trying to figure the name of that to tell a friend about that like two days ago. Yeah, and so they go through a rift or some crap. And they land somewhere that has a bunch of dinosaurs and then it was canceled at the end of its first season. So people did how big were these out of stores? They were really big in Photoshop where they made them because they didn't look very good. Hundreds of centimeters tall. They were regular, that's a weird question, actually. They were dinosaur sized. I don't know. Look, look, I'm not a dinosaur ice for being on my dinosaur expert hack, right? You don't get one of those. It's called a pith helmet dude. Come on. Who did you steal that from? You can't get one of those if you're not a dinosaur. So you don't talk about it, but basically you want bigger dinosaurs that you want them to not look like Photoshop. Yes. I get it. Yeah, is there a is there a time where people made them too small by accident instead of fear? They're baby dinosaurs at some point. The comps again, but that's not a big dinosaur..

Cape Up with Jonathan Capehart

"What happened? It became The CW and it was all about Veronica bars. I mean, Gossip Girl and, you know, all those shows that I love too. But yeah, it's like all the black people. You know, homeboys and outer space. All disappeared. So let's talk about another character. And Trinity is a character that I love. This is Ashley Nicole black's spy character named Trinity, who's able to solve crimes, simply because people treat her as if she's invisible. And being overlooked and discounted is a reality for many black women. April Ryan, White House journalist, interviewed her on my podcast. She told the story of a time when misses Obama as First Lady of the United States walked outside The White House, you know, with no disguise or anything and nobody noticed her. And so way of talking about the invisibility of black women. Talk about the importance of Trinity. Yeah, and I think this character that Ashley has created shout out to Ashton Nicole black and her birthday tomorrow. Give her love. Social media. But she is a genius writer and a genius performer, and she came in season one with this character, and she said, basically, she's a CIA's top agent, not only because she's great at what she does, but because she's invisible because she's just a normal looking plus sized black woman. And I think we can't discount what, you know, larger sized black women in this world have to deal with, but also when you have the trifecta of being, you know, not a glamorous movie star. You're plus size and you're black, all of those things render you invisible. To some degree in society. And I think that her commentary is so sharp in the series. And it's so brilliant. And it's so funny, but so poignant. And I love the fact that she made her so good at her job that the invisibility just allowed her to take it to the highest level, but it's such a great biting commentary on society and how we treat people and how we other people and how we literally just ignore a large segment of the population. And I know she's made a lot of people feel seen. Yeah, and I'm not even a black woman, but as a black person, I totally get that. I mean, that segment, that sketch, always resonates with me. You know, The New York Times said that with each episode, or I'm sorry, with each season, a black lease sketch show has become, quote, less interested in lampooning the world than creating its own. So I wonder how has the show evolved from exaggerating the absurdities that black women deal with to bringing audiences into the world they live in? Well, we are calling it the BLC U, which is the black lady cinematic universe. We now have our own. We've created this cadre of characters who have come back season after season or skip seasons, but now going into season four, we know that we have this multiverse to work with, right? So there's different levels where, yes, it's not the end of the world anymore, but spoiler alert, if you haven't seen the finale. It is a world in which doctor hadassah was elected president, although briefly. So it's not the normal world that you and I know. And so in this cinematic universe, basically, characters started to meet, you mentioned slurred words, which was the Scrabble game. That was a sketch where none of our core cast was in it. And then after that we had a sketch called distraction where Trinity actually meets my character Octavia, who had never been in a sketch before, and they meet and team up in this black lady cinematic universe. So what's going to happen now? Avengers style is that all of these characters we know in doctor hadassah's mind controlled world can interact. And so I'm really excited. For those of us who are for those of our audience who have been on the journey with us for three seasons, but even people who have it, you're still going to be able to jump in at any point and get the comedy out of it, but we're rewarding the people who have been with us from just what seemed like lampooning to now creating our own universe, which was always my intention and I'm so lucky that HBO gave me the bandwidth to do that over multiple seasons. Another thing that makes a black lady sketch show so fun to watch is the roster of guest stars who you have come on the show. I was watching the scene the sketch where Nicole comes with her girlfriend and she comes out and Vanessa Williams is her mother. And she screaming about, oh my God, that's disgusting. This is spider behind her. Ashley, sorry, naturally. Yes, yes. And so Vanessa Williams you've had on. Ava duvernay, Michael leger Rodriguez, Michael ealy, just to name a few of the people who have been on the show, how hard is it to convince this they're seeing the spider. How hard is it to convince them to come on a black lady sketch show? Is it even hard? No, it's not hard. I think, you know, I mean, listen, I have people now who are threatening me with bodily injury if they don't get on the show because they've been asking me for years. And I'm like, I only have 6 episodes people, but no, I think I've been in this business a long time. Despite being very young. I garnered a lot as a writer and as a producer and also on camera, but mostly as a writer, I've gained a lot of fans because I've worked with people behind the scenes. And so it feels like to people in their homes. They might be kind of just getting to know me in the past couple of years, but I'm really entrenched, especially in the comedy world, but I don't know, like Vanessa Williams and I did a movie together years ago. We've done two movies together, actually. And so, you know, just through the smallness of the black community in the smallness of Hollywood, we all, you know, I just know a lot of folks and so I just texted Vanessa Williams and was like, when are you back from London? I know you're doing a show. If you want to come do this sketch and I sent her the sketch and she was like, yeah, I mean, that's kind of how it happens. Lance Reddick though, we got through casting through our amazing season three casting director Vicky Thomas, she was like, Lance wants to do a sketch and I was like, I love him. I loved him on the wire. I loved him on fringe. And he was so goofy. He was in that sketch with Vanessa. He's so silly and goofy. And we've become friends. I love him. And so it all just kind of comes together, but I have to give kudos to Angela Bassett, who was the first guest star we booked season one. Who we called colds, our casting office, and I wrote her a letter, and she said, yeah, I'm gonna do it because no one thinks I can be funny. And you know, she'd never been kind of asked to do anything like this before. So once we had her, it was like any guest star we would call. We'd be like, well, Angela Bassett's doing the show. You might want to do it. So, you know, that's, I think it's become a prestige moment for actors who want to come and text on comedy chops. They know we don't punch down. We're not going to make them look stupid. Everyone's going to be funny. Ava duvernay was like, Robin, I'm only doing this for you. You've got 40 minutes, like let's make it happen. And we did, and she was fantastic. And she was like, just so game and like, she's not a performer or a comedian. Like the fact that she came to do that was such an honor for us. And such a testament to the camaraderie and this community and how much people believe in this show and they've always been so cool. We've had literally well over a hundred guest stars in 18 episodes of television and they have all been stellar. Stellar. Truly, can we talk about you for a minute? Sure. How are you? How are you? How are you doing all of this? You're writing your story. You're acting. You're the showrunner. You're the EP. You're doing all of these things in the profile in our paper in The Washington Post. The writer said you get by on four hours of sleep. How do you do it all? Yeah, not a lot of sleep. Look, I think I spent a lot of years in this business being very broke and very bored and very not in demand. And so I think it's like, yo, when the time happens, I'm not gonna waste a moment of it. And people are like, what do you do.

"Okay, you brought up the three body problem. And I'm glad you did, because I, again, the thing that annoyed me or one thing that annoyed me about the first game is that that premise, right? Cave woman versus robot dinosaurs because Elon Musk destroyed earth, right? Really, really good premise that I think the first game does not really, I don't think it does right, but I think it kind of only gives it like 50%, right? For such a potent truck ass turok the dinosaur hunter asks set up, you kind of want the first game to be 50 to a 100% more anime bullshit than it is. And I think forbidden west is with the shit. 'cause it's like, I think forbidden west goes full anime bullshit. You get to the halfway point of that game and you get to like, you get to be the humans who escape the extinction event because they were rich people and they got away on fake Elon Musk space program and it's just in their force field swag. And this is exactly. This is the height of what I was talking about before. When you're talking about like, I'm fighting, you know, civilization of people that has progressed past the need for corporeal form with arrows or whatever. It's just like, what am I doing? This is stupid. They got a force field. And a teleportation portal. And this is like, again, I'm shooting at cup lengths to drop a water canister in your head. Even this might even seem to break even. So that you can distract them for a second. Yeah. Right, but it's like, I chalked it up. I was like, okay, will they do it, you know, these games mostly do that with size. They take a really big dinosaur with really, really big hitbox, and they make you fight that. But I actually thought even that stuff, 'cause you fight the dude, Eric. From the zenith right. And he's like a human sized person, but he's wearing his little futuristic zoot suit. And you're just like, he's just sitting there the whole time being like, you can't, you're not even talking to aloy. He's talking to the player. He's like, you're not gonna win this fight, bro it's like the visual language of that fight is so strongly like communicating. Like, you can't win this fight, right? It's the game is like just like curb stomping you and being like, nah. You are a woman. Yeah, it's just like, oh, you got your little breathing concentration things, so you can hit a moving target. Yeah, well, again, we got teleportation. And even if you do hit me, I got a force field. And guess what? I could use this teleportation thing to move my mask that's several times the speed of sound to hit you in the face and kill you with a single hit. So it's so like, yeah, it's just frustrating. Yeah. But again, it's like, it's either frustrating in a bad way or frustrating in a good way, right? Because it's like a frustrating in a narratively in a way that's necessary to the way that the story I'm told. It doesn't feel like bad design or bad programming. I never sat there and felt like, oh, the hit boxes on these dinosaurs are fucked up. Instead, I sat there in fact. I thought like, yo, fuck the developers of this game. But in a good way. Again, I really like the game. I think a part of all that gameplay stuff, I felt really gratified by how fucking nuts this game gets though. Everything after you meet the zenith and then it's like me, I mean, we're in a spoiler is listening. So, you know, it is what it is. It's like, you meet the clone of aloy, beta, who is traveling with the zenith and then Carrie Anne moss is having cookies and tea with you at our old house and then you meet the squiggly line monster at the, it's just like the weird, the fact that they, in this game, so much more decisively lean into the idea of like, yes, this is, it's not just robot dinosaurs. Now you got time travel and teleportation and space travel, and you got an abstract, you got abstract art as the final boss of the next game. You know what I mean? All the sci-fi shit that I wish was in the first game is finally in this game. And it's stuff that's stupid and it feels like a lot of concept, but I don't know. I thought narratively this game was a lot better at sort of being as crazy and sci-fi as it should have been from the beginning in the first game. And there is all that side quest stuff. There is all of that sort of help those so and so try get rid of the person help them fix their mud gate. Yeah, you could do, you could do the maintenance on you could do. Maintenance in Westworld if you want to. You can go shoot components off of things back to make new weapons and like it's a good grind and everything, but also yeah, there is all of that weird galaxy brain shit in there. Yeah, yes. The galaxy brain shit is the good shit in this game. It's like, and again, it might be a taste thing, right? Because I've just never liked the side of high fantasy stuff. This isn't a high fancy earth, but you get what I'm saying. The side of fantasy stuff that's about like, oh, you know, this ancient civilization, something something monarchy, something something rival clan, like, oh, all that sort of low level mundane shit about fantasy is never what I'm into. I'm into the more futuristic urbane, and then the zenith showed up with their force field. Like, that's the shit I like. Maybe that's just me, though. That's like the animation. That's the anime bullshit. That's horizon leaning in the anime bullshit. There wasn't enough anime bullshit in the first game. There's a ton of anime bullshit in the second game. The second game basically becomes a three body problem. But with like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk somehow factoring into how these people sort of left earth and then came back and shit. I don't know. I think it's fun, man. I got to the end of the first game and I was like annoyed. I was annoyed because I liked the first game, but you get to the end and it's like you fight the sort of weird hoard that's the last boss fight in the first game. And then you get to like, you get to like after credit sequence Lance Reddick being like, I'm actually more evil than you thought. I have Hades now. You know, and I don't know, the way they set up the sequel for the original game, I was just kind of like, man, I didn't like the Lance Reddit character that much. I didn't really feel like the drama of this story was that good. So I'm annoyed that they're sort of calling the shots so hard and being like, you know, this game is going to have a sequel. And then I got to the end of this game and I was like, upset that I have to wait four years to play the continuation of this story. That's the contrast with me. I actually give a shit about the things that happen in forbidden west, and I actually am curious to see how they stick the landing narratively. In a way that's totally at odds with my experience in the first game. I was just sort of.

"To the people who are out of the loop in the original game. And I don't know after a certain point in the original horizons are done. You have aloy, right? Because the main protagonist, and you have Lance Reddick, silence, so I'm just gonna call Lance Reddick for this entire podcast. Who is the kind of like, you know, her partner, but also he's a little bit treacherous and he's slippery, you know? We don't really. We basically know he's just one of those people that just kind of reveals information when it's convenient to him to his to his ends. But it also, it also puts you towards your goal of. Stopping Hades. Or the extinction program. The things that silence tells you are ultimately helpful, but you know, man, it's just like that would have been real good to know like a week ago when we was getting fucked up back there. It's really like that is your attitude every time you're speaking to silence. He's helping you, but only after he's almost gotten you killed. Yeah, he's that kind of character. Yeah. But to me, my big beef with the first game is just that because aloy and silence have all of this sort of hoarding all this information. A lot of the times it feels like you're playing this really big expansive open world game where aloy and silence are the only real characters. And everybody else is everybody else's NPC vibes are too extreme. Everybody else just feels like an NPC to the max. And it makes the world feel smaller than it should feel is what I felt about the problem. Yeah, it's just. I mean, it's sort of like the fallout quadrant, right? Where it's just sort of like you open a random door and a blast shelter and these people developed a religion to a pair of underpants. Some sort of it's like extreme. Trying to talk to the natives and Mad Max vibes. Which I'd be like, which means when you come into the second game, it's like her exhaustion at the very from the outset. In the voice acting is understandable. Yeah. Yes, they make her, it's weird. Aloy in forbidden west talks like how I felt. Playing the first game. She's just constantly like, oh my God, are we having fun? I don't have time for this. Yeah, it's just like, yeah, I was listening to a giant bomb podcast where somebody put it the best way. They were like, aloy in forbidden west talks like the annoying atheist at the party. And I was like, that is it. She's totally, she's just constantly going like, God, is it real that people say? Like, all right. Yeah, religion is an opiate of the masses. That said, let's take a break real quick. Coming back to your point about support characters. I just want to say first. That on a narrative, right? I think this game. I think it's a big part of why I like forbidden west better than present zero dawn. On a narrative level, I think the characterizations in this game are just are so much better. The writing feels better. The performances feel better. If anything like silence is a lot less important in this game and you have an actual kind of classic RPG party, in a sense, in this game. It's like it's a direct sequel that begins literally where the other exactly where the other story is. It's a direct continuation. Like 30 minutes after the last year. Exactly. No time has passed. No time. But and that's the thing. It's weird because for the fact that no time has passed, that actually does feel like tonally. Like, again, the thing we're talking about eloy. Aloy is so much more sarcastic and exasperated in this game. It's not like she's, she shouldn't have become a whole new person, considering that again, it picks up half an hour after the last game ended. I can forgive it because I do think that it's kind of a little too quippy sometimes. She starts shushing people which feels kind of not consistent with her character in the first game. But I will say, I do feel like she benefits overall from having more personality in the second game. Especially because again, them giving her more personality in the writing is of a piece with them also saying, we need supporting characters for her that also feel like real people who do not just feel like conversation trees that are just constantly lore dumping shit you don't care about at you. And I think they do that well. With characters like Aaron, right? And then even the actual sort of classic, oh, the NPCs in this town who send you on side quest. I even think that stuff is a lot better. I think what starts as a main questline, the corrupt politician dude who orders the work stoppage in the one town. And also, yeah. Yeah, I actually thought that it was well done. I thought that the dynamic worked. Yeah, it does. It does. Also, there are no real side missions that feel as though they're leading you somewhere completely out of the way either. It all feels like it's building towards something. And yeah, I agree. The author work stoppage, like getting them to, you know, men, their fences and clear out the valleys so that you can get them to lower a bridge to even begin to get out of the staging area. To get out of the start.

"And now we're seeing more in game stuff like this and just another was today they announced sackboy, a big adventure is getting silence and horizon or an alois costumes and anticipation of horizon. And they've gotten so many they got like last of us and return on and ration clank and more. And I just think it's such a cool celebration of these games. Even if they're not cinematic universe crossing over, getting stuff like that getting a horizon cameo in a ration clank rift and rift apart, I think it's just like a really cool way to see these games kind of in conversation with one another. We're gonna see AOA on the back of deke in St. John's motorcycle and days gone. That's not even a joke. That's the stuff they do. They don't have any game. They just, you know, they make little illustrations of it and stuff like that. Yeah. It's a really cool thing. I do, we were talking off the air. I think Jada you had, you were the one who kind of came up with this theory, but basically I could be cool if they keep doing this because it's not like there wasn't a horizon costume in ghosts. It just wasn't mentioned. Yeah, it was in the multiplayer mode. You already could get horizon, Kratos outfit from God of War, shadow of the colossus, and then blood born where the four outfits, but they were exclusively locked multiplayer. And there were so many fans I know that were like, why can't I take this in a single player? Please put it in a single player. I don't play multiplayer, blah, blah blah. I don't have friends, whatever people reasons were for playing the multiplayer mode. They wanted those outfits in single player. And they're doing it. So who knows? Maybe when we get a four rack launch, we'll see Kratos outfit, make it to goes to sushima for another puzzle type thing. And if we ever get that PS5 bloodborne 60 FPS update, we'll get the blood borne one and when we get shout out to the colossus two, miniature colossus mode. That's the thing that's coming. I've talked to, of course, PlayStation it's happening. We'll get that one in single player. Who knows? Can't wait till that news shows up on Reddit. Shadows of the classes are going to be really big. I'm like, I'm excited for it. No, yeah, it's totally a cool thing and I think what we're essentially saying is Andrew, great job. We have more work for you to do. Yes, we're trying to keep it up. Keep it up and keep working. No, but yeah, this is really awesome. Haven't been yes. I have to step away for like 5 seconds. Cool. Well, maybe like a minute. But you can keep the show going if you'd like. Fair enough. Bye everyone. Goodbye. We're just gonna be silent. We're just gonna we're just gonna sit in silence to mark returns. And we're not gonna edit it out of the show, so you're gonna have to listen to 5 minutes of silence, but it's not gonna be exact, so you can't even skip through on your fast forward buttons. No, this was really cool. I think go check it out. It also, again, if you haven't played tech boy, it's a really fun platform, go play it, and there's like a dozen different free costumes now of a bunch of PlayStation characters. And it's really cute and adorable. Yes, Mitchell were you saying something? Oh, well, I was just gonna say and speaking of PlayStation crossovers. Yeah, if I told you about my wishes for PlayStation all stars, battle Royale two because let me tell you, things are getting interesting now with bunchy coming into the PlayStation family weekend. Kate 6, we can get Korra what ray we can get into. We can get most characters. And that's just one character. It's like Pokémon trainer in smash. It's just one character. Between them. No, this opens up the door to have Lance Reddick fight Lance Reddick because silence can fight it. Yeah. Yeah. So it just works. When you said when we said that we would have made of silence, I thought you were gonna have plans right on the phone, just, you know. If you're out there listening, please come beyond that would be me. He's just the coolest. Anyway, very cool addition, and yes, if you do want more PlayStation ulcers better or two thoughts, actually go listen to that episode from a few months ago because it was a really fun one to record. And I just had to mention it because every time I feel like I've mentioned PlayStation all stars Valerie all too, so definitely keep the tradition. I would have been disappointed. So we're keeping the spark of PlayStation all stars alive and I hope one day it happens and we can have a big celebration on this show. Moving on through the list of news just to catch up on for those who didn't see, obviously this pertains probably to a small amount of players, but there is another PS5 beta software update currently going on. This will let participants test new options and things within the PS5 UI and some updates there. The big biggest things are new party chat options and voice command stuff. Party systems will now work a little bit differently. You can start an open party,.
