What was that moment like for you last night? moment that I'll never forget something like you said you worked so hard for all the hours you put in something you never forget and he really work hard for. What have the last three months been like no, no baseball season and everybody's world turned upside down. What's it been like for you during that period? Yes definitely definitely been different Xiaobin on been on the field playing some games, but it's been a lot of indoor work. Indoor facilities to begin my work in the weight room, hitting slowing and just keeping in the best shape, possible very happy with my body right now so. A lot of work that's been paying in putting. Did you have a sense going in of the reds interest for you? Did you think there was an opportunity at twelve of you're there? their my opinion. I didn't know exactly what was going to happen. I had an idea from some different places. But I'm going in and hearing that I'm hearing my name called and number twelve is unbelievable, experience and like something I will never forget any idea over the months any idea how many zoom meetings you did with teams or what? What was that process like? There is a lot. A number. A really cool experience, though this town with everybody has to say and seeing where I landed as well You know I'm very very happy very excited and you know There's no way to get out there. Get the red uniform on and Get out there and play. You know that's something that I'm very excited for win. Reds fans, watch you or even when they go to Youtube and watch some of your clips to this point, what do you? What do you hope they see in you as a player in the way you play the game? This together does outplays hard plays away. You know what I mean I like to go out there and you know I. Bring a sense of confidence, a little bit of swagger, but Um, not not not a person's financial at all. Go out there fighting in the right way and you know I love the hit so. Actually you know had a couple of home runs and pity game with a lot of passion. I laughed last night. You talked about going to youtube and watching King Griffey Junior. Tell us about your appreciation for for junior, not not just the player, but the person it seems Oh. Yeah, he's A. He's a role model for me. Most definitely something. I look up to and I'm Kinda resemble my game after just a swing and his carrots there on and off the field. You know, but a great husband. Right father. Someone that you know you Kinda WanNA strive to be speaking of your swing. You simplified it last summer. Did you find confidence after that change? Oh, absolutely I'm I've always had confidence. Chain, and I'm seeing some of the things I did. more consistency felt great. Um, you know not only still even now over the whole porn pain, continue to keep them better with that and very very happy with what I did and continue to keep growing into Austin here. Here's what jumped out to me. That impresses me about your decision to when you change your swing. You were I believe at the time line is right. This was this was during some high level competition showcase events. Some guys might be Leery of getting out of their comfort zone against top notch competition. You went right to it and did it right through that, didn't you? Absolutely how most definitely There was a mike the night before decision You know playing a great. You know that's on. The next day. Really nerve wracking. Just gone and. Not. Knowing what to expect came out really well at home that day and Bad and constantly been working on that conflict on ed working with that. Here's another thing that jumps out to me and looking at your junior year. I know you were walked a lot. Few teams wanted to pitch to you that had to help your disciplined, because it doesn't seem like you chase you instead of trying to do too much. You kind of just took what they gave you. Absolutely you know PA they're definitely. A Lotta walks at high full season an anyway anyway to help the team in on base, though second and third, and I'm getting scorn position for Dada hit me in so whatever it took to help the team out and. You know being a team player and help out 'til till reds fans about your outfield skills. Is there a position out there you're? You're most comfortable play. Now on a theatrical play all three Coach those and. To play I'M GONNA. Go out there and play one hundred and ten percent now I'm getting very strong arm, and I'm love for people out on. Routes that are baseball and Myself know thoughts and you know scar off the game hard in the right way without a senior season for everybody to watch. How big were those showcase events that you played in last summer? They were awesome and other. It was so much fun I'm going out there playing some grey competition on even even the coaches that were there sure so much knowledge and I'm just being there enough for me to be a sponge and listen to it all, and and just try to help me and put my game as much as possible. You were at Wrigley Field you won the under armour Homerun Derby. Take me back to that moment. How cool was that? That was awesome exchange. Being around great competitors, and you know coming on top and him. and..

So it's really exciting for the people to get to use the ballpark and of course for us. You know the big thing is meeting on mission to improve the quality of life unity and and being able to let people have that ability to come there for pretty affordable price and get to be in in the stadium and of course jobs. You know that that's key and making sure that we're able to employ people and and able to have jobs At the Blue Office Jonathan. What's the response been? Football Team plays here as well. University of West Florida. So we're kind of working around everything to make sure that we don't have Football players or baseball player dinner wise. And my son Sleep. So it's It's a juggling act because it was one an idea that we thought we thought it would go well when quite sort of this. Well now there's actually other teams already are popping up there AIRBNB. Which is Great? That's what we wanted. You know. Help drive revenue in in. All of us are looking for ideas. Brennaman and then on channel five for a period of time and that was the King Athenee and that was that was the main one but they wanNA talk to. You was still a very good show. I mean it just it was a very Kentucky Center yellow gets over here to Super Bowl and a couple of lanes in in northern Kentucky but pretty much Our Show was veering Kentucky Center so I call it the only white and it. It was fun and you were. Do I understand this correctly? You were an alternate at one point to be on to actually bowl on the king of TV bowling on the junior stars of the king of Kings King of TD bowling Back in the day there was some really good young bowlers. I think our rob carpenter. I believe I believe he was a very good Bowler del fair lanes. I could be wrong. He can ask him that. One guy named Greg Locie and a guy named Alpha way yet. I called for the traveling team at Super Bowl and and So what a bunch of us would do was We would go try to qualify for the for the King of TV bowling. And I got to alternate for June. What I call them. The same was a great late. Jack Moran won't tonight he the host of the show. And when you were the alternate you also the score. Keep when so. The shows were taped in so I went home. And I'm outside Jack. Lands GonNa say my name so awesome and then the same score keeping this week. Dick Shiner Time. You may recall your you know your sports. Obviously there was a quarterback in the NFL. One Point Nine eight Dick Shiner Jack Tuesday and kind of confused with that. Already Drinking Huey. When did you guys tape your show? We take it but much it was. It was fairly early. I WANNA say late boring on Sunday. Tennis once and I can recall I had a neighbor up the streets where I lived in Florence a guy named Burke who was a longtime. He'd won a bunch of weeks in a row and I would go with a couple of other friends in the neighborhood. We go watch him and I remember the First Time Young. Popovich had just come to town pinch host four and I can remember going sexy. Skip death that guy. What's getting bad? Episode is on the King of TV Bowling Youtube pay. I want that episode. There you go all right. Well I mentioned how well rounded and well versed on what is happening today. You mentioned earlier you part of building the batting cages. On dixie highway John and Graduated from doing rear windows to being the finisher. Finish your car that they decided to build a batting cage back there so one day they decide to take a couple of off the line it was. I guess a slow day at the car wash or they just need some some Labor to go do it and said he loves money your asphalt and so there. I am having no idea what I'm doing Selena. After members was such a hot day. And we'd portia asphalt for a little period of time. Then you'd have to step both of your feet into a bucket of cold water to cool them off. I ruined a perfectly good pairs but I try. But whatever I try by Johnny's Car Wash Hey I don't get my car wash. They always have still respect place in well. The place no people and look go. I actually help build that thing. I can't obviously changing light bulb but I somehow three days in the summer asphalt to go that batting cage are guy. Chief is listening right now and you know. He's muttering under his breath. What losers money right now to round this out? I? I'm trying to remember. What is your experience in. Putt PUTT other than just playing it. It was there any. You know you only you only can make an eight or Deuce is tournament and and so throughout the day we play until about one o'clock and I can remember. "I we're all in seven hundred already. Seven hundred wwl W sportstalk till nine gamble. Infants abrupt the reality check at that point later on this hour. Pat Brennan from the enquirer talks a little FC Cincinnati coming up in the eight o'clock hour. It's tonight tonight's the ten year anniversary of the cyclones winning the Kelly Cup that was their second in three years. We'll talk with the voice of the cyclones at the time John Hamill. We'll talk with the coach of the cyclones. At the time Chuck Weber. They'll check in at eight. Oh five eight twenty and then Doug Flynn the glue at eight thirty five tonight. I happened to notice. Today is the anniversary of his first Major League home run. Imagine being twenty four years old playing for the big red machine in nineteen seventy five. You get to replace Joe Morgan in the seventh inning. Your parents are in the stands and you get your first Major League home run. I dropped Doug. Flynn note on facebook today. He said sure I'll come on so he's coming on at eight thirty six tonight to talk about that moment so we are loaded up between now and nine o'clock alright excited to get with our next guest. Because I saw saw Fox nineteen in a story that the German rounded and I said all right I gotta talk with him because this is clearly like sweeping the tri-state it is Joe. Borough Jersey Mania that is unfolding the search for the number nine Joe Borough Jersey and who better to turn to than the epicenter of it. All the iconic cook sporting goods on Fourth Fourth Street downtown. Let's welcome in Eric Cook Eric Lance McAlister. How are you? I'm doing great? How're you doing tonight? I am very well and I'm glad you could spend a few minutes. Take Take Back Joe. Borough was drafted April twenty third. How would you describe the demand for the Joe Borough Jersey since that night? Well to be honest with you. It started about a week before that we were taking pre orders for season and really didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. We ordered a couple of hundred thinking. Well we older too. Many of these are people really going to be buying into this. You know and then you know we. We were closed down for a couple of weeks. We opened up last Tuesday morning and it was like Christmas morning. We had twenty boxes or burrow jerseys waiting for us and by Wednesday they were just about all gone mad old man. I think. Everybody's frame of reference is back to Curson Palmer. Do you have a rely recollection of anything like this? When Carson was drafted it's not even close you. Know Carson was heisman trophy winner first round. Pick but he wasn't Jodhpur phenomenon. I don't I don't really understand it fully but the build up around Joe Borough compared to Carson Palmer. It's night and day thrill. Media is much much bigger so as you mentioned you are. Now you're open right now. Is that correct? We are yes. We opened our doors. Turn the lights back on. Last Tuesday morning we have all the safety measures in place plexiglass masks or required by anybody coming in so we've been Having walking customer guys last week yeah do you. Do you have the borough jerseys in stock or do you have to order them at this point? We're still okay if you have if you're three xl or if you're a toddler or you side we have those in stock still Every other size we ran out of like I said before. Probably in a day or so We went through a couple of hundred so we actually have more on order. They are telling us at Nike that we should expect him. Hopefully by the middle of June. Give me an idea of what say for an adult size. Something that I would wear. What is the cost of Joe? Borough JERSEY. There eighty nine ninety nine. There's three different Nike Jersey. That they make this is the cheaper of the three And Really Nike's had a manufacturing issue because of covid nineteen. They've had to shut down a lot of their facilities. Where they make these jerseys so really. They're only able to do the cheaper one four now. They told us during the season. They should have more. Hopefully knock on wood Capabilities to make all the others. I just checked my twitter feed and I have a question from listener. Only one of my listeners can have this question I will toss it to you. You See. Chris wants to know he has a Curson Palmer Jersey. Can he bring it in? Have you strip the Palmer off in so borough in? Yesterday I had a feeling that might come up. Yeah yes we have done that before. We can certainly do that just happened. Get in touch with us You know the great things about the bengals. They love recycling numbers. You know. It's not just you from Rudy in the center dent. Then Jeremy Hill. That might be more of a cost. Effective way of doing the The Borough Jersey even buying new absolutely talking about Joe Borough Jersey Mania that has unfolding. Were at the epicenter of all of it with Eric. Cook from Cook Sporting goods on Fourth Street downtown. Let me let me switch over to the reds for a second they had built up so much momentum in the offseason with so many signings did that translate into reds fans wanting reds jerseys. This off season you know I have a feeling it would. That's one of the negative things and of course we have to keep everything perspective with everything going on in the world but we were really looking forward to a bigger red season than we've had in a lot of years and because we were shut down for a couple of months we haven't seen it You know which is a shame but again I think whenever they do start to play ball again. I think there will be that excitement again so I think everybody in the city is open for that question related to the reds Shogo Akiyama if someone wants a Shogo Jersey does the back have shogo or does it have Akiyama. Well I hope it has ocoee. I'm not you can go the other way too. That's beautiful. I love the flexibility. I've also always struck by this and I saw what I went to your website again today. You guys have been around this true. You guys have been around since eighteen eighty eight that is correct actually myself my cousin Ryan Cutting Kathy word of generation. We're working there now. So we've been around for a while not always telling sporting goods but but you know we started with theater curtains. And things like that and we've evolved a bit over a year. Yeah what those listening. Who who want more about the Borough Jersey WanNa look online? What's your website? It's www dot cook sports dot com Cookie Style Funky K. O. C. H. S. P. O. T. S. I was pretty much in Could check give me an opportunity to put put on Baseball uniform and go and spend some great quality time with with young athletes Who who always teach me about like it is a Boy It's a. It's a powerful story powerful message. Isn't it it really is and it just say it's based on a true story about a young chance. They grew up there and and And I I don't know how. How put it in words? You know that you and I grew up in a in a time of texting. And it's one thing for you to say that somebody or you're an idiot and I'm GonNa Kick Your Butt after school or something but with with texting when you when you put it in writing and send it to somebody's phone. It has a different impact than than Than if if you say you know what I mean. You've actually put it in writing and you've sent it to your personal device your phone and and it it. It carries a greater weight than than the word used to when we were in school. So you change change. Suicide is a real problem and we all have to do what we can to try to provide opportunity and and resources for young people who find them so we don't have somebody that can speak to them and help them through a dark period matthew. How much time did you spend here? Shooting the film I feel like I was. I was there for a couple of but I think it was. It was probably the only about six weeks of you. Know a little bit of pre-production you know getting there and getting to know the kid and and kind of you know what I call get in baseball shape Getting to know Mike Daily and and his family and his son wrote the screenplay and His wife is in the film does wonderful job in the film and You know it I. So I had to pick a team and I I picked the Yankees when I lived in Utah and we moved to San Diego when I was in junior high school and I kind of became a padres fan they had some good ballplayers then and But Yeah I'm I'm a Yankees Fan. I Love Baseball. I did another baseball movie. That's really good about punish wagner played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and It was called. The winning season was television film. And that one. I actually got to play baseball. I went out and and went. Cal ripken is a friend and I asked him if I could go. Play With his Farm team for the Orioles called the iron verge and that was that was a tremendous experience. You know I was telling you off air. I had a chance last night in the show to talk with Jay Kertzman. A sophomore. More at Sycamore High School plays on the baseball team. He plays twelve year old in the movie. Now he told me. Tell me you can confirm this. He said you helped him with acting in. He helped you with baseball. True certainly did their special skills their clash Baseba- and You know to get to get the players to stop thinking and and to react in a in a way that It's a longer conversation than we have time for now. But it's a great program and he's come up in that flash baseball system and so There was some skills that I was unfamiliar with that that He and and all the other kids taught me to be to be a little better baseball player. I I have to admit that I in one thousand nine hundred five. I was nineteen years. Old and vision. Quest is one of my favorite movies and what I saw your name on the on the poster. For for this I said Man. I wonder if we could hook up with him on sports talk. Could you take me back to that experience? What was doing vision? Quests like for you well I was. I was pretty young. And we trained trained trained the way tim wrestling and conditioning running running Kids in the movie were pretty much all of them state championship. And what I learned about that that that experience was In anybody who's ever been a grappler knows that what what you wrestling against yourself. You know. You're always. You're always discovering how far you're willing to push yourself and the extremes that you're willing to go in order to accelerate at this Dairy difficult sport. I just enjoyed that Michael. Jordan documentary The last dance and You know Michael. Jordan is extreme example of one of those people that that Just pushed himself to to Unbelievable Athletic Prowess I mean it is. Throw to first base could take grounders. You know he he What what great hitter. But it was a great sex shortstop and You know the whole movie for Jim Brown eye everywhere you look. There was some legend. The first one I got the most I had the most fun with was probably large Taylor New York giants and and learning about how the game changed because because of his athletic abilities as a the middle linebacker. Right and and He said you know Matthew. I never went looking for trouble but it always found me and I mean just Schaechter and larger than life but when a gentleman he was an al Pacino is great and Jamie Fox and a little cool J. and Jim Brown is just I mean another athletic legends. He's played roles in full metal jacket. Stranger things Weeds Birdie any given Sunday. I'm a huge fan of his nineteen eighty-five movie vision quest and his role as High School Wrestler. Louden swain. It is an honor to welcome in Matthew Modine Matthew Lance McAlister. Welcome to sportstalk. Thank you so much for having me on. Search pleasure to be here. How did you become involved in a project like this? Well my daily who runs that flash baseball is white is really good taste. And she suggested he hired me moving and I read the script and and it was just so terrific. I love baseball and and so really. That's all they had to say the first couple of pages was that it that it was about baseball and I was. I was pretty much in Could kick give me an opportunity to put put on Baseball uniform and go and spend some quality time with with young athletes Who who always teach me about life? It is a Boy It's a. It's a powerful story. Powerful message isn't it? It really is and just say it's based on a true story about a young chance. They grew up there and and and I I don't know how. How put it in words? You know that you and I did grow up in a time of texting. And it's one thing for you to say that somebody or you're an idiot and I'm gonNA I'm GonNa kick your butt after school or something but with texting when you when you put it in writing and send it to. Somebody'S PHONE. It has a different impact than than than if If you say you know what I mean you've actually put it in writing and you send it to your personal device your phone and and it it. It carries a greater weight than than the words used to when we were in school. So Teen teen suicide is is a real problem and and We all have to do what we can to try to provide opportunity and and resources for young people who find who don't have somebody that can speak to them and help them through a dark period. Matthew how much time did you spend here shooting the film. I feel like I was. I was there for a couple of months but I think it was. It was probably the only about six weeks of you. Know a little bit of pre-production you know getting there and getting to know the kid and and kind of you know what I call get in baseball shape Getting to know Mike Daily and and his family and his son wrote the screenplay and His wife is in. The film does a wonderful job in the film and You know I I like to get there early and kind of soak it up a little bit. You know to for those who haven't seen the trailer. You play the role of chances coach. You alluded to baseball. Are you a big baseball guy? I am I'm a New York Yankees Fan which will probably make a lot of your local. They're upset but Yeah Yankees Fan and and I. I GREW UP IN UTAH. We didn't have a professional baseball teams. So I had to pick a team and I think the Yankees when I lived in Utah and we moved to San Diego when I was in junior high school and I kind of became a padre fan they had some good ballplayers then and But Yeah I'm I'm a Yankees.

I've got to talk with him. Because this is clearly like sweeping the tri-state it is Joe Borough Jersey Mania that has unfolding the search for the number nine Joe Borough Jersey and who better than the epicenter of it. All the iconic cook sporting goods on Fourth Fourth Street downtown. Let's welcome in Eric. Cook Eric Lance McAlister. How are you? I'm doing great? How're you doing tonight? I am very well and I'm glad you could spend a few minutes. Take take me. Back Joe. Borough was drafted April twenty third. How would you describe the demand for the Joe Borough Jersey since that night? Well to be honest with you. It started about a week before that we were taking pre orders for these and really didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. We ordered a couple of hundred thinking. Well we older too. Many of these are people really going to be buying into this. You know and then you know we we we. We were closed down for a couple of weeks. We opened up last Tuesday morning and it was like Christmas morning. We had twenty boxes or burrow jerseys waiting for us and by Wednesday they were just about all gone bad. Oh Man I think everybody's frame of reference is back to Curson Palmer. D Do you have a rely recollection of anything like this when Carson was drafted. It's not even close. You Know Carson with Heisman Trophy winner first round pick but he wasn't Jodhpur phenomenon. Either I don't really understand it fully but the build up around Joe Burrell compared to Carson Palmer. It's night and day thrill. Media is much much bigger so as you mentioned you are. Now you're open right now. Is that correct? We are yes. We opened our doors. Turn the life back on last Tuesday morning. We have all the faith measures in place by the glass masks are required by anybody coming in so we've been Having walking customers as of last week yeah do you. Do you have the borough jerseys in stock or do you have to order them? At this point. We're still okay if you have if you're three. Xl Or if you're a toddler or a youth size we have those in stock still Every other size he ran out of like I said before. Probably in a day or so We went through a couple of hundred so we actually have more on order. They are telling us at Nike that we should expect him. Hopefully by the middle of June. Or give me an idea of what say for an adult size. Something that I would wear. What is the cost of Joe? Borough JERSEY. There eighty nine ninety nine. There's three different Nike Jerseys. If they make this is the cheaper of the three And Really Nice. He's had a manufacturing issue because of covid nineteen. It had to shut down a lot of their capabilities. Where they make these jerseys so really there only able to do the cheaper one four now. Yes we have done that before. We can certainly do advertising. Get in touch with us You know the of the great things about the bengals. They love recycling numbers you know from Rudy Daunton. The center dent then Jeremy Hill. That might be more of a cost. Effective way of doing the The burgers even buying a new one. Absolutely talking about Joe Borough Jersey Mania. That is unfolding. That's one of the negative things. And of course we have to keep everything perspective with everything going on in the world but we were really looking forward to a bigger red season than we've had in a Lotta years and because we were shut down for a couple of months we haven't seen it You know which is a shame but again I think whenever they start to play ball again. I think there will be that excitement again so I think everybody in the city is open for that question related to the Regin Shogo Akiyama if someone wants to show Jersey does the back have shogo or does it have well. I hope it has ocoee on our current store. Not You can go the other way too. That's beautiful. I love the flexibility. I've also always struck by this and I saw this when I went to your website again today. You guys have been around this true. You guys have been around since eighteen eighty eight. That is correct. Actually myself my cousin Ryan Cutting Kathy. Where the fifth generation? We're all working there now. So we've been around for a while not always telling sporting goods but but you know I think we started with theater. Curtains and things like that and have evolved a bit over the years. Yeah what for those listening. Who who want more about the Borough Jersey WanNa look online? What's your website? Www DOT cook sports dot com Cookie Spelled Funky K. O. C. H. S. P. O. R. T. S. They can't keep up in. Everybody wants a job earlier. A talking with Casey earlier today about jerseys he has purchased we've purchased or him birthdays Christmas. A you name it over the years and the luck he has had with the players who he's got the Jersey of then. Being traded or leaving free agency can put together a really lengthy list. "Well when they start the game when you lose like thirteen to it's like saying you're nights just heard that say the range of the game was not very shining Bright Star. But but when you when you look back at it you know. George Grande was calling the game and you know Marty Brennaman was there June doughnuts all interviewed me. Who Pitching the Big Leagues? When he was fifteen years. I mean just all these all these factors of of me being there Was just a wonderful wonderful experience and Yeah did get the Montgomery Ribs Player of the game and you know a few days later. Went out for lunch before they before. One of the game and Anyway it was. It was amazing. It was surreal. It was everything you expected it to be and You Know I. I'm thank Lovett for every every every second I was there rick. What would you say to those? Who would say? Oh man he only got one appearance. Baseball's been around for over one hundred and fifty years. I looked it up today. Approximately nineteen thousand six hundred ninety players have appeared in a major league game. You are one of them. What does that mean to you this many years later? Well the the fact of getting to the to the big leagues far outweighed the fact that I didn't have a long illustrious ten year fully vested career. That's that's the bottom line What I've liked to have ten years in the big league what I would have liked to have a half a season on the big league but when you look back at the fact that I'm only one of nineteen thousand plus that have ever lived Young Boys Dream and played a sport played a game for my profession and and made unbelievable friendships and traveled the world to Cuba Spain and Canada. And done a a lot of things that a lot of people have done. I've lived two or three lifetimes already at forty nine years old or even when I retired at thirty one That most people just don't get to do so talk about being extremely blessed and very very fortunate Lucky and proud and and Just just happy I was able to get there even for one game so this has been a blast to catch up with you and I know but before I let you run your. You've got a foundation. Tell us about the foundation and what it's all about but to dream foundation was based off of I've through a same fat ball. My father about seven years ago came down with cancer. He's he's better now he's fine. He's beating quote unquote. But I just started something where I wanted to give back and we do donate money to some local charities in Louisiana. Also the Saint Jude in Memphis You know that's that's another thing that you bring up if I'd had a ten year career IDA had a better and more You know giving foundation and more more ability to give back. I wanted to do something off of the somewhat celebrity that I had in Baton Rouge area and North Louisiana so we raise money we give it away We just think that you know so. Many people are touched by cancer. And there's a lot of cancer organizations out there but it's got a baseball at a background and feel so Just extremely blessed to be able to give back to to people that have given me so much over over the years. Rick I during the interview. I just got a text and I'm looking at and it says tell Greenie that mile said hello. Dave Miley is listening and wanted to send a shout out to you about that. We can catch up especially when when the reds back swing and action sounds good. You got it that as a deal. Thanks Rik take care. Thanks I appreciate you go to. How about that Rick? Green a red in the ninety nine season June. Nineteenth nineteen ninety. Nine he makes is Major League debut the only appearance. He made his major league career. But what a story and appreciate his perspective on all that. I wish we had a little bit more time. Do that again. Some time seven. Twenty-three thanks for being here tonight. We are up and running arnelle carriers sportstalk presented by Kelsey Chevrolet at seven hundred. Wwl W seven forty seven hundred. It's a it's a pretty interesting story. I it's definitely been a long process to In the summer of two thousand fifteen I'm currently a sophomore going into my sixth grade year My team and I were playing tournament. Ogden part near flesh field At the Tournament Mike. Daily in the sunset We're taking headshot pictures of all the baseball players there Actually looking back at the pictures now. I look a lot like Chance Smith just without the long blonde curly hair found Then in December we drove out to flash baseball complex. Read the script with Mike. Seth and Pamela Daily My coach at the time actually knew the daily family Which create another level of comfort and familiarity going into the whole process? So tell me describe your role and in how much you were in the movie so My role is chance at the age of twelve years old My part had a lot of baseball scenes in it which I felt right at home at two playing since I was four years old At a high level and then going into the teenage years. I guess more into like you said that team Texting and bullying mental health part I had a very significant role in Twelve year.

"A lot to get to between now and then let's go front and center with our leadoff guest tonight. This is a cool story. I I read about this in the river. City news in a piece written by Rick Robinson a couple of weeks ago and I thought it'd be really cool to try to get our next guest on and Lo and behold he's joining us. He was born in Fort Knox Kentucky. He won a college world series pitching for Lsu. He pitched for the US Olympic baseball team in Barcelona nineteen. Ninety-two was a first round. Pick of the Detroit. Tigers the sixteenth pick overall in Nineteen ninety-two. He made his Major League debut in relief for the Cincinnati reds back in June of one thousand nine hundred ninety nine in it was his lone major league appearance Classic Cup of Coffee Story. I think a really cool story. So it's with that excitement. We had to the phones and welcome in rich Green Rick Lance McAlister. How are you lance? I'm doing well. Thanks for having me on how our families well and set the stage for us. Where are you calling from? I'm in North Louisiana I spent About Twenty five years in Baton Rouge after my comet Lsu and then moved up here with my wife's Near my wife's family so I have Three older children that attend dollars. You have a young seven year. Old Daughter that had lived with canal and Life is good and just you know doing an interview once every two or three years about my time in in Cincinnati so to speak so things are good. I'm so glad we could catch up tonight. Let's rewind the clock if we could You had pitched in the Tigers Organization and with the brewers organization. Explain how you wound up in the reds organization. This is a this is a really neat story and I had been in. Triple eight for two years in ninety seven and ninety eight and During those two years had played the red AAA affiliate several several times. We were in the same division and Dave Miley at the end of Nineteen Ninety eight the manager of the of the reds AAA eighteen said. Hey you know. Are you going to resign with the brewers and I said absolutely not and he said when you become a free agent give the red the call and Man as soon as I did I. I called the reds. I signed a minor league contract I was able to pitch in one spring training big league game as a quote unquote backup guy against the phillies in clearwater and did really really well. And I think if I hadn't been able to do that then McCain wouldn't have been able to even know who I was but that's how I became a red and you know Jim Bowdoin. I tip my hat to him every time I see him. Just because he gave me the ultimate opportunity to to live that childhood dream. So that's how I became a red and You know I'm thankful ever since. Take US then to June of nineteen ninety nine. Where were you? And what was the moment? Like when you got the call to the show we were in Norfolk Virginia. Playing the tides. I was playing cards with a grant Jackson who is our pitching coach and aaa who is just a fantastic fantastic human being great guy. Great Coach Happy go lucky. Perfect you know gotta be around and the phone rang before the game. And everybody knows when the phone rings and AAA in the manager's office that there's some type of roster move going on and Dave took the call and he came out of his office and he pointed me and grant and said I need to see both of you in the office and when I sat down and he basically said. Okay you're going to Cincinnati. I really don't remember after that so it was. It was in ninety nine in for whatever reason you know. Cellphones were not nearly as big as they are now. And I called my wife from the the clubhouse payphone and she did not answer her cell phone so of course. I packed up my gear as fast as I could and got back to the hotel to to fly out Cincinnati but she called the phone the phone number back that ran that ranked the clubhouse to to the to the pay phone and Dave answered now my wife and they knew each other. Just from being around the ballpark. And she's like Dave what's going on what's going on and he's like no. I let Rick and she said. You'd better tell me right now. He said Rick Rick called up to Cincinnati and I'm sure you'll talk to them soon. So she's she's going ballistic and crazy and excited but She was in Indianapolis at the time because she just drove over to Cincinnati in me up at the airport so It was it was really. You know when you say things are neat it was. It was really really neat. the funny part of the story. Is You know when you say cup of coffee of the first time I got called up. was basically for Denny naegle coming off the L. and truly truly truly going to be An emergency just in case guy and Jim Boating. Boating's savvy down and said look we're going to activate you tomorrow like Sunday We have an off day on Monday. And then we have a game on Tuesday. And we're going to send you back down after the game when we activate you know Denny Naegle and I said okay. That's fine you know so. I knew going out the right off the bat. If if I didn't get in I was still going to get three days a big league time. You know. We got the big league insurance. You get on the forty man roster and the whole bit and so I knew that going in and I went back down so I didn't have to move the family and I didn't get a place in Cincinnati and just you know it was good that they told me all that so then they didn't get in a game. Of course I I got sent back down and then That was an April as a matter of fact but then in June They called me back up so You know that that's when I got my appearances. The one appearance in the big league. Take me to that day. June nineteenth nine thousand nine hundred ninety nine. And you make your Major League debut after a rough first inning for and I didn't realize it at Olympic teammate of yours Ron vallone Ron and I played on the Olympics together. And then you know wound up becoming teamates again and in the Cincinnati Organization So you have to. You have to remember that. This was my sixth year in professional baseball. And I I had been a starter since Really since high school and only a couple of starts in college so short relief Middle Relief You know a guy that comes in for the holds I was a closer. I was a set up guy and all of a sudden vallone gets in trouble and you know they say okay you know go down to the bullpen and I was. You know somewhat shocked. I'd say the least and so I go down there and you know the balls are different in the big leagues and they are in AAA. I'm just trying to get acclimated as best I can and You know I get in the game. I Guy Hits a home run. You know not the end of the world and not the debut but I was looking for but I settled down and you know and did okay got Mark Loretta. Ground into a double play from my first big-league out And then you know I progressed and kept going and kept going and after like the third inning or so Second or third inning. You Know Jack and Gullit would come up and say hey. How's your field? How's your arm? Feel and and I can have this tiffany moment where I just sat there and said what if this is the only time I ever get to the Big Leagues I. Dang sure ain't gonNA tell them to. My arm hurts. You know that I need a day off for. I'm I'm good. You know like me out of the game so I had pitched four and two-thirds innings Come off the mound and I'm up third that inning. Now I had already had one at bat against Eve ordered and I remember I was with the brewers that year before all the last guy sent down from spring training At the end of spring training to AAA I was that close to making that big league club so I I was up third the in the the last after I pitched for and two thirds a month third and Jackson listen. He said if someone gets on we're GONNA pinch hit for you And of course two quick outs I get another courtesy. I bet and they got fouled kick the ball but of course struck out again because I hadn't taken BP six years so. But I wound up going out for That's the last thing I picked five and two thirds. I think it's like ninety five pitches. Wow you know. I walked one struck out three. I I would say I held my own and basically I ate up a lot of innings for the bullpen. Which is would Switzerland's great in my eyes. I can vividly remember having my spikes on the very next day and Steve. Avery goes man. Why are you got your stikes on? And I'm just sitting there going. You just never know. You never know so rick you were. You were star the game reading the piece by Rick Robinson. You are star. The game interviewed by Joe Nuxhall afterwards..

R. according to the conversation you had with him he's taken T. Hagens under his virtual waiting I guess in in AJ's also reached out to T. J. about T. Higgins yeah I don't know who called on that but no this is Sheila and they're pretty good they always seem to find each other you know and I think that you know I mean they all they'll watch each other you know so obviously he didn't walk and watch him going on that was one of the one of the great things about his draft night we saw we we deal with that this is his favorite team the coverage and but also to engage it was watching him you know he's there yeah I'm she watches a little bit of Clemson in a in a South Carolina Gary and it was I like I said I think yeah when it comes to teach anything and the guy in key family locally to see family gave you know I mean it looks like you know when it it's a plot to kill was anything we could be seen you know this is very similar but you also get this similar kind of personality too which is you know very humble and you know kind of content a quiet yeah I think like I said I think some weapons reaching a lot in him and I think the fact you know in the state you know he he was harassing talking about that the year two when he in India that was it you know there wasn't you know they had to give you should I mean they had some good and she was strong Simpson and never put the drone Simpson had never started a full season and I recall well was a role player a slight gag and I'm thinking you know I mean you're looking at three super group now and I'm not sure nobody from buyers not sure there's a better one around you get a you get a hall of fame guy you get wants to you know you get a one thousand yards wide guy you know when you get a you get a guy that runs on a four year old too when you get a guy that put in a first round pick so I think he looks back to many years ago and says wow this is you know there's a lot of weapons used to kill borrow compared to what in the heck out of me one ninety six last question for you get about a a minute I was struck by something Zack said today on the zoom call he's he made it pretty clear how he views the the backup quarterback situation that was kind of surprising to me but the guy looked into thousand eleven one Bruce Gradkowski came off the bench we need all the opener I think you so you know we get a lot of confidence in our land certainly and I don't struggle in those three starts but you know they're high on and because of this you know because his intelligence and I think they feel like you have class yeah he doesn't have a lot of snaps in using young kid but you know he's pretty old when it comes to you know being around quite a lot of balls self so I think it also Georgia how much to compensate haven't borrowed two now if you like I think I think so sold on that you spend a lot of time on targeting virtually and going through quite a fortune old Alex probably had so much time talking only to get that first we could solve already training camp but you know so they know exactly what they're getting we can't be remembered we didn't know what they were getting having a they thought they had it but remember the creek toppled to clean the car he was drafted until training camp so we know a lot more about children aged R&D and I think that's a I think that's also a big reason why we're going to stick with Ryan and I think well I think they feel like we've got a guy who's gonna get a guy who was a fourth round pick from last year it's already getting your honor I know are under and result in our system in place to start to think you know we think he's going to develop so I think it's a pretty calm about that middle of the night you know they like bill gallon because that it kept on the roster so I think they're taken with some guys who can help you get this could be a lot of unknowns here's a few guys we know sure school war you know what's what about a good catching up is always great can't wait today joined the read and we talk again soon thanks very much for having me on let's do it again soon the best everyone sounds great thanks Jeff our Jeff fox tangles dot com we're good.

"Is sports talk on lance McAlister thanks for hanging out tonight we've been busy little bit a red little bit of college hoops in the first hour let's add soccer to the the conversation into the pitch in this hour it is soccer Saturday FC Cincinnati kicks off their final season at Nippert when the club plays host in their home opener to DC United five thirty the time Nippert stadium the place on Saturday for more on that large welcoming catch up with that for a few minutes to goalkeeper for FC Cincinnati that would be Spencer Richard Ricci Spencer lance McAlister how are you I'm good man how are you I'm well how fired up for you Hey you guys have to go on the road for your first two hellfire or you to be back at Nippert on Saturday all men are fired up that game that whole opener last year against problems by my favorite game of the year well network that would present a little bit of extra special that day so hopefully cannot recreate that if we can you give me give me a little bit of perspective you you made the rounds last year on MLS stadiums around the around the league speak to the the advantage that the FC Cincinnati crowd offers in just how significant it is it is hundred percent significant and that is the bandage her up you know I've been around the league played in basically in every atmosphere you know the Atlanta crowd is always a great one just with you know the raw numbers alone but I think that a credit specialist the card is been a great home to us so hopefully we can start off on the right here in our policy I know the results obviously what you guys wanted in the first two what do you like the the progress being made in and the look of this roster compared to maybe a year ago yeah I do I mean honestly we definitely had some positive signs the first two games but probably the biggest one is that we just don't think that we played in out to our full potential or even close to enough first two games in each of those games there you know the ball bounced in one way or another we easily could've gotten out there with the with the tie in each of them so we are in now we're stoked for this weekend and you would feel like with each week you know I've got one more comfortable one another and the team that started to gel really nice that we can put together a full performance this weekend you had to deal with the the turbulence at the start of things with the coaching change but do you feel like things have kind of started to settle down from that standpoint yeah you doing credit I mean that's because a lot of the guys we obviously wanted to it was a bit of a a unique situation now for almost everyone involved and we want to respect you know guys timeline of how long it took them to fully come to get over that moment you know there are some guys that felt close to Ron there are maybe some other guys that you know work at Kohl's but you know I thought it happening down in in Florida with a bit of an advantage that you know we've got a lot there that trip and kind of said you know god will try and you know leave that behind it here it's not something that any player you know it or cause any harm so we really just you know try to come together and leave it on that then I don't think it's been a huge a huge factor not couple weeks at sea Cincinnati goalkeeper Spencer Richey check it in the home opener on Saturday night five thirty at Nippert against DC United for those who don't know you're you're a holdover from the U. S. L. days you you you were once a a backup in those days for a time you've gone through different coaches different GM's air in here you are starting but you've said before this is a sink or swim business you just keep swimming right along Spencer and I'm trying to beat you know each year there's always new challenges you know you've and guys that are all well established goalkeepers are any you now feel player any athlete for that matter you know year you gotta perform every year and whether you're trying to to win thirty job you're trying to establish yourself in the legal or whatever it may be they say it is a performance based business so I'm just doing everything I can try and try and string together good games and do what I can help he went take me back a couple years ago your your loan here from Vancouver could a crystal ball of ever showed you what was gonna happen actually happening with you and with MLS and everything that's unfolded with this team it was a little bit the master plan B. sort of you know down the line all right the Cincinnati when they you know we're in the second division was probably the the alpha dog and not with the team that that I wanted to go and play on if I was going to I'm gonna log out of the second division I also knew that there was great potential that it was gonna be rewarding experience but from them all out so it was a little bit of a master plan it definitely worked out well for me that far so hopefully there the more get them read the that lie ahead and half not not bad for a guy who if I remember correctly did not you I think you had you had a double fracture of your leg back in college right I did I did I actually was contemplating leaving college early just prior to that he then and unfortunately I don't know maybe that's affecting game yeah I had a good bit proctor my right shin so that was a pretty injury or nor recovery you know let the guys go through significant injuries at this level and you know most of the time it is the guys that have you think you know it's it's how they handle themselves and and how they do with you know that mark situation than dealing with the more dealing with success so you know I try to keep that one says a thing along I've got two more questions for you one series one fun can I do the series one first and get it out of the way sure what do how is this the whole corona virus in the media restrictions in their statements being released left or right how is this impacting you at this point if it is yeah I wouldn't say it's had pretty much of an effect the far I mean we you know we are he is much of it in the media and on TV it's kind of hard to avoid it at this point yeah but now we've had some briefings with our medical staff of you know precautions one thing that we can do in all ways to do our part to you know make sure that the thing is around for a short time it pop world but you know put this point we're we're prepared for this weekend you know we hope that you know people can obviously be responsible but you know we also the love of packed and so we think that both of those two things can be can be combined in one this weekend and we'll have a full stadium and hopefully win this weekend all right here's the fun one and I follow you on Twitter so this is will be right up your alley if if you're getting out a bowl of cereal in the morning are are you putting the milk in first or the serial in first I am a milk for you guys and it it is not for no reason people think I'm a lunatic I really I really don't like when when he'll get soggy you know like I was like I've grown up since you have the sense of you know maybe having to wait for the tone of some of the milk and eat you don't really have optimal crunch throughout the whole goal of Peter one big ball you can now add you know the three separate many people it's just that much more of a delightful experience you know it's beautiful C. I. I'm gonna get you a deal is like a spokesman for frosted flakes because I can see you like standing in front of the net with a bowl of cereal and you say like the error rate in there with another with one hand you back away a pass to make a safe I am available from wrong you I mean I I I I can see right in the middle the the goal you get the the bowl Searle in in here comes all you just reach up nonchalant with one hand and batted away and you say there're great right right and that's right and I can add a little more serial and you know because that is fantastic Hey this was fun congrats on all of your success in the best of luck to you guys at this week in the rest of the year thank you ma'am I got me on thank Spencer take care there you go Spencer Richey goalkeeper FC Cincinnati milk first milk and then the serial that runs counter to what I do because I like to do that you do the cereal and milk so you know how much it's gonna raise up and not spill over the bowl you want to raise up and then you Lee said hi to her to each is own our when we come back we'll do a little more college basketball Rick walls in the rich hall of fame at seven thirty five in the hall of fame gala day Baker talks U. K. hoops at seven fifty tonight up next a little comparison of the the brackets add the the resume UC's resume Xavier's Roger resume which team has the better case right now for a bid an at large bid and you'll hear what Travis Steele seven asking last night your resume good enough to be an at large team as we continue sportstalk seven hundred WLW right the virus can make you won't but you can help stop those creepy mean germs by washing your hands here's the thing about new cherry vanilla coke though cherries named first all the flavors tastes just as great I mean it could have just as easily been vanilla cherry coke or it could have been coke cherry vanilla and sentenced to amazing flavors of coke it might have been cold vanilla cherry coke or cherry vanilla coke coke unless you're in France which.

"Eight oh, seven seven hundred wwl w sportstalk, I'm Lance mcalister. I swear I feel like I just sat down, and we are to ours in we have been knocking out of the park tonight. The reds conversation on pitchers and catchers was fantastic in the first hour and a half. Or so the Justin Verlander reaction was excellent. This hour begins with the Bengals in Cuyler Murray. What I'm looking to do is. And I've made this a poll question on Twitter. Atlanta McAllister, by the way, the Twitter timeline and feed presented by burly. Gordon's? We'd love Berlet Gordon's three locations in northern Kentucky. Burley courts get over here. A tweet me in vote in that Twitter question. Do you believe the Bengals should have interest in drafting quarterback Tyler Murray in the first round? I want to establish tonight the baseline for what we're gonna do with this topic the rest of the the off season because now it is official. He he's in. He's ready to go. He is committed to hook ball. And it will be fascinating to see. It's going to be a case study in is he. Tall enough is. He is. He is he really how tall measuring at the combine who's going to be willing to drafting how high does he go the Bengals in that conversation in some is shouldn't be in the conversation in in other minds, and what I'm trying to figure out is the baseline of where the consensus is a Bengal fans, you know, where they are as an organization where the trying to get to what they have what they don't have. And you know, the shiny object that he is Kyla Murray is reading Gil Brandt today the architect of the great cowboy teams of the seventies and just voted into the hall of fame a couple of weeks ago. He said calamari could be the first quarterback taken off the board said he's if it weren't for the concerns about its height. He'd be assure first round pick. He has the arm strength. The accuracy, the mobility the leadership skills that competitiveness and you're looking for in the history of winning which is another huge. Plus, he writes, the only apparent negative is his stature. But as he concludes for. NFL dot com today we've seen shorter quarterbacks play at a high level Baker Murray. Baker Mayfield six one Russell Wilson. Five eleven drew Brees six foot. Murray is slightly shorter than those players, but gillibrand I defer to gillibrand says. I believe he can overcome that perceived disadvantage simply because he's done. It all the way up the ladder. He writes, the bottom line is Murray is an exciting prospect. He's a make you stand up and say, whoa. Kind of player. He's going to be one of the most talked about in dissecting prospects in recent memory. That's why it leads us into this conversation tonight. I saw Todd mcshay s- I mock draft come out he has Tyler Murray at number thirteen the Bengals draft at eleven. That means the Bengals would have let in in mcshane's is let Murray slide two slots past them to Miami. Then there's this school of thought. And this is clearly it's why I love this topic. It is to a large extent a head versus heart type of conversation. And that's why I'm tapping into you the Bengals fan to figure out if it's more your head or your heart. You're thinking with listen to what field Yates set on ESPN radio about a week. Or so ago, we played this about a week or so ago on what it could mean for this franchise if they drafted Cuyler Murray, I'm a believer that the Bengals have to address the quarterback spot. This is again, putting the cart before the horse, but in terms of generating some excitement and there's a big evaluation involved too. But I think the Bengals drafting Murray would completely reboot that franchise just from a general perception Zack Taylor their new head coach quarterback coach, obviously with the Rams his past couple of years. I'm not saying they love color. Murray. I have no idea, but if the Bengals would become impressively relevant all of a sudden with a new offense of coach in a new quarterback in Cuyler Murray. About that. Again. Excitement a complete reboot of the franchise. A perception changer of the franchise and would make them immediately impressively relevant now, the head versus the heart. Head says. Be smart here. They got a lot of issues on that team. They need offensive line. They need linebacker. They need other playmakers. They need difference makers on defense. How can you? I remember saying this very thing we could go. How can you use it on a quarterback, my heart says, oh, can you imagine if the Bengals draft Tyler Murray, and what it would mean for what I do. So I could be selfish for a second. What I do. It would be pure gold for sports talk radio if they draft caliber what have you said. Well, let's drive Carla Murray with the eleventh pick it, let's use antidote and a mentor him for one season. Then trade anti-doping in hand the reins the collar Murray in twenty twenty something like that. Or I guess the school of thought could be look I can give you all the talking points. I probably shouldn't. Because that's that's why I've opened the lines for five one three seven four nine seven thousand one eight hundred the big one pound seven hundred on AT and T. I'm looking for the the argument for in the argument against case for Murray. Case against Murray right now, I've got five lines open. I'm going to do this maybe to the bottom of the hour, and we're going to switch topics. But on one hand you'd say, well, why stop now you've been new different? You've been bold you out of the box. You got somebody who had no ties ever the organization is a head coach. You got a thirty five year old wonder kid, who's an offense of mind? He's got a staff of new young hungry guys. You're doing things differently. What better way to stamp being different? A new look Bengals then going bold rebooting. The perception of everybody in drafting a dynamic Cuyler Murray quarterback. On the other hand, you say, whoa. Oh, have you been watching the same team? I'm watching problems all across the offensive line. How are you going to address that? Why would you use the eleventh pick in the draft on a quarterback? What about linebacker who's gonna drop and covering run with backs out of the backfield who's going to cover tight ends down the middle veal. Have you lost your mind? I guess I would argue I'm arguing with myself now while you're gonna have eleven draft picks. And it's a it's a draft set up with a lot of offensive lineman by people who know of the draft. Not I I I ride today. Dane, burglar said nine lays at Deepa tackle. It's deep at guard who says you have to get it in the first round. I mean, the the draft is seven rounds. It's not just one pick. You're gonna have eleven picks. And the argument I would make your I argue with myself again, if I'm gonna make the case four caliber, I'm going to say, well, wait a minute draft Carla Murray, he's at Br apps that you once in a lifetime generational type skillset there's no givens anymore. Roll the dice with this kid, use your other ten picks wisely and be bold and free agency get your why would you wait and try to develop and maybe missing offense environment where you can buy offense of Lyman it for goodness sakes. Go by CJ Moseley and stick him in your linebacking core. Why are you gonna rely on the draft? I would argue here I go. How's the drafting men working out in recent years with helping your team house Bali Jefferson doing so I think I've just made a convincing case? A little people on each shoulder of mine arguing with each other. So my my case would be used eleven pick on a dynamic quarterback to change the fortunes eve regime, maybe send them into the abyss. But it could get any worse. Use your currency to be aggressive in free agency and signed free agents, sinus CJ Moseley and use draft picks and wa the Cuyler Maury air in Cincinnati. Because no matter what you think you could trade doll. I have no idea what Andy Dalton's market value would be. Let's just say you could get a third round pick for Andy Dalton. I wouldn't think it'd be a stretch for somebody to open up the bidding on Andy Dalton who gives me a third. Somebody would give him a third. So you get a third back, and I'm not even necessarily rushing to do that. Now as Mario says, maybe wash them hodgin and then quarterback man, they give me a second. But I'm not even saying do it. Now, you've got Andy for two more years under contract. And when you walk you can walk Scot free draft Cuyler Murray now play Andy Dalton this season. Then hand things off the collar and trade Andy replenish with a second or third round pick. I'm looking simply for the case for or against. Think about exciting. It could be if you're Zach Taylor. I'm going to go out and get my guy. I am hitching my wagon like Marvin Lewis hitch their wagon occurs and Palmer, I'm going to hitch my wagon to Cuyler Murray. This is working out. Well, it's my poll question. Do you believe the Bengal should have interest in drafting quarterback Tyler Moore in the first round is running at almost a coin flip right now. I'll give you those numbers pick up Chad, Mike, another Chad. I think that's Roman as well case for case against were establishing the baseline for what we're gonna do with this topic the rest of the off season, I'm curious because this will to a certain extent decide how much how much do we really pay attention to this idea and concept Vert is it going to be panned? Or is it a coin flip to the point where keep this dialogue going? There's a good back and forth to be had on this neck talk. Seven hundred wwl w your shot at one thousand dollars now. Text the nationwide keyword two hundred two hundred you'll get a text confirming entry, plus iheartradio, info standard data and message rates apply. Is nationwide. Two hundred two hundred you get a raise or something. Yeah. Right. Then how can you afford to drive that huge car? I mean, the gas on that baby must be crazy..
