Oh well capita have you here to serve so like you know the first thing we're going to get into. Is this master lama thing. So tell us about who you are. What do you do and a quick summary of what. A master lama is There are thirty six lamas's active in order. Which is based out of the southern tibet. Lamaseries been around for over three thousand years and there are twenty four of the llamas that are normally dedicated with the training. That we do. We can set the standard of our taichi young training and twelve of those twenty four llamas of which i am one. A master lama is were responsible for two or more countries and then just a few months ago. I was named global spokesperson for the lamasery itself. based on the internet exposure that Ahead a with different people. So i've been training for about fifty two years and i've been teaching for about four decades and basically The core of what we do is work with people's health and And try to connect them the original master. Three thousand years ago was in a situation in india where he looked around at the time and he noticed that people were very interested in spiritual things but it seemed to be almost nobody was interested in keeping the physical biding around for a long time and after reading and studying many scriptures. He felt that if god is god god is in the physical just as much as he's in anywhere else he's in the third dimension just like he's in the fifth dimension and so he fought that learning how to take kids three yoga disciplines hotly yoga stretching conditioning a limb Yama yoga the ability. Not only to breathe the oxygen but to breathe energy and then the coon delaney which was a shock ryobi energy yoga. He thought that if he learned he could interact so he went to china to have visions of china any drink in china any spent a decade at a time it different elements of nature like For about ten years he was could been seen doing his yoga by the river. Banks of the ansi river For about ten years he was up in the mountains and and then different times. He was in the forest in the woods. If he can imagine how beautiful some parts of mainland china are today than just imagine how it was three thousand years ago. When you know was no industry. I mean literally could drink right out of the rivers and what he found was is that each element of nature had its own intrinsic energy value. That we call chee itchy and taichi gone and he thought that moving a certain way his mental attitude and focus being certain way and breathing certain way he learned that he could milk the energy into what he called his energy body. Some people referred to it as spirit or the already field and he could stimulate the function of that body. Which in turn canada supercharged. If you will the physical body like a battery and over a period of time. He began to surrender to nature and kind of made nature for about five decades his guru. If you will. And then after that one day he was soaked out by a general of an emperor of the middle kingdom at the time and this emperor had a neuro muscular malady and the general ahead heard about this holy man from india and thought that maybe he could assist the emperor in some healing so he began to work with the emperor. The emperor ended up living about twenty five years longer than the chinese herbal doctors of the time and the acupuncture physician stop that he could and then after that time he felt like his degree of teaching needed to take on a new level. Biden Knew Afghanistan Faced Invasion Theats by Pakistan, Told by Ghani

"But in mid July, Biden was intent on Ghani delivering a public message. And public plan that would sharp confidence in the Afghan government. He said. You clearly have the best military of 300,000 well armed forces. By the way, they've never had 300,000 armed forces. Versus 17 80,000 there clearly capable of fighting well, we will continue provide close air support for you know what the plan is and what we are doing. He pushed Connie to allow his defense Minister General Bismillah Karma Lama. To pursue a strategy that would focus on defending major population centers. And he urged the Afghan president to bring together some of the most powerful anti Taliban warlords in a show of support to reverse perceptions, perceptions of a crumbling government. He said. I really think I don't know whether you're aware just how much the perception around the world is that this is looking like a losing proposition. Which it is not. Not that it necessarily is that But so the conclusion I'm asking you to consider is putting together everyone. If they stand there and say they back the strategy you put together and put a warrior in charge in a military man con in charge of executing the strategy and that will change perception. And that will change an awful lot, I think, says Biden. Johnny responded by saying Afghanistan was facing not just the Taliban, but their foreign backers, he said. We're facing a full scale invasion composed of Taliban. Full Pakistani planning and logistical support and at least 10 to 15,000 international terrorists, predominantly Pakistanis thrown into this. You've never heard any of this. Neither did I have you, Mr Reducer. So they were being invaded. On top of everything else from Pakistan. You didn't know this either, folks. But Biden did.

"A monumental parenting week. And i had. I shared a special patron on sunday about it. And i have never gotten such overwhelming response from you guys about what i was going through and dropping my son off at college and the story behind it And i just want to thank all of you. That listen to patriarch part of patriotic and wrote me. Because i really really needed that this weekend. you could find patriot. Henry dot net anyway now for the second part of a very juicy interview guys loved hearing from shane llamas on thursday about her incredible hollywood childhood. And now we're getting to the part where she meets her husband now soon to be ex husband. You heard from nick ritchie a couple of weeks ago you. You were super intrigued by that interview. And you wanted to hear from shane. She is just as candidate candidate and funniest she was in the first part It's super juicy. She answers a lot of your questions. So here we go with part. Two of shayne lamas okay. We are still here with shayne. Lamas just finished her juicy story about being on the bachelor back in two thousand and seven no. Nda telling your story kinda love. It got rid of the london dude. And so gymnast. About two thousand eight. And now you're have this resurgence of fame from being on the bachelorette bachelor now now between there and wendy. You end up that infamous. Las vegas night in what you actually did. Get married to nick ritchie. So remember it. Yeah and so we did this law mys family show and they e- put us in the house okay My brother and i to coda and my mom would just come in. I mean it was a shit show. Okay this when. Lorenzo is now single. Or is he now with sean number two. Nope he is single. Focus point so he had just ended that hold barbara okaying. You know the wedding so he you know and so ian hem went back and forth on payment because he was like. If i'm going to do the show and he's like we only want you for like to call like two episodes. This is jane's show and so we have a different relationship now but back then it was like no. If i'm going to do the show it's going to be all of that codes and so there was a lot of that where i signed up for one thing and it ends up being another anyways with that being said i didn't have very much producer control. Even though i sat in produced the show at all it really did was give my brothers and my sisters and my mom and money to spend to just do nothing with and you know my name. I had to literally hunt my brother down. Aj yes because he was an actor and doing reality. Television is i mean so. I had to hunt him down to have him just bill messina. Hoda dinner and he would because. Hey it's ten grand but like finding him was like a. We like a nightmare. You know what i mean like. I'm in the trenches of the valley trying to find and my mom is just like you know batch crazy going through menopause coming in doing crazy things. I'm like mom. You don't have to overdo it. You know like just be you right and so it became that to the aj moving into the house. And he's like so it was all very produced and it wasn't natural and i ended up being like this blonde bimbo and just a typical and i'm like look we're going up against kardashians already own e basically and they you know there's already an audience for them and so at the end of the day. It was more of a headache for me to do that. Show than anything and show we we were we premiered like after the new playboy girls doria so we knew we were new and it just kind of like we all just it just didn't work I'm not sure what the ratings were whatnot. I never really followed that. But at the end of the day. I had the same agent as kim kardashian did at the time and he said looking. If you wanna make it after this season and a next season this is what you need to do. You need to wake up every morning at six. Am and have a full head of hair and makeup done. You need to go down to route deo and every day you need to have your pictures taken so fresh content is constantly hitting the wire and this is how you and these are the tabloid magazine. And this is how. You will become a kim kardashian. You know god that sounds terrible. No absolutely not i am not and so it's like basically. This is how you become famous these days. Yeah so you either. Hop on the bandwagon. Or i'm just like i i was just done. Yeah taxed from my family taxed from everybody just spending this money like crazy. Nobody did anything with the platform we were given like. I'm like jakoda you can promote your music and like use this platform and so do something even if we have a second season or not like make it right you know and the whole show was just about me rallying all these fucking people together so it's like i. It was just a mess. You know what i mean..

"I'm back here prepping for our life. Together i move into the arch light. Get our own apartment. 'cause i was living with dakota at the time and i move out you know an i fund all of this thinking. I don't know why i wouldn't bring up financial situations. But when he was a banker. So my family had lined up jobs. My family in new york had lined up some jobs out here in the banking. Because they're not in this world there are more of in that world and so all these things and slowly but surely i started to realize that he was not planning on having a banking job. First of all he was a teller at a bank. And so there's that but that he was just wanting to be an actor. I remember being in the kitchen in my house and he picked up a a spatula and he goes. You know i have a great idea not i said what i'm going to turn this into a bachelor and unlike what he's like. Yeah could you imagine so. He was so full of himself. Because abc blows you up. You know like he was so full of himself. He thought he was going to be the next star. Okay but reality heads like wakeup. They're done with you on. Yeah you know what. I mean like you know they did either of you could ask to do dancing with the stars. Okay so i love. That's what you're thinking. Because you said there i feel like they're not always done with you though that's a whole different production and people you know like. Yeah but you know what i mean. They're not ever done with joe. He says he's looking at his beautiful reflection in the spatula. And that's when you realize. I'm like i don't think he wants to face when he you know i said what do you like. I found see some grief. And i'm like okay. We don't have beef like what what what and he was just very like i'm like why don't you go out and get something. And he sits down tells me he has he has no money and so i just pulled out the entire story out of them. I need to know. where did they find you. How did this come about. I was like pissed. I was like i'm calling fucking mike fleiss and i'm going to have a very long conversation with this person because i have been ripped off and like totally like guilt tripped into doing this to meet this fabulous. Well up bachelor. Who lives with his parents in london. Who's not even a bank teller who they've nightclub in london. They redid his teeth. Bit you gotta go like you stay here for a few weeks while you figure out where you're gonna go and during that few weeks. He was out on dates. Like i have a good friend. Jt turning he owns a few restaurants at the time. It was like baso jt caused music. Hey so you've and we're still like publicly. You know what i mean. 'cause he wants to soak that up and i'm just like oh my god and we still have the final rose to film okay. And so i- catch matt so jt causing you said kay so. Your boy matt is down here. You're freon say. I'm like yeah with a woman a really. And he's like in match me. He was just going out like we were. I was done with him. Yeah but like we had to figure out what we were gonna do. Right new orleans. He's now out in. La with like some eight. So i drive down there in my boots. Jt lets me in through the kitchen. The back and gt goes he just ordered martinis and so he hands me the plate of the drinks. Like i've never been a waitress but you know let's give it a try and so i walked out. Imagine like my boots. Like i'm hair. La whatever. And i'm like here. You go and here you go. I go get your shit and move out tonight. We are done. How dare you like. I just thought like so. He's having bruce scroll and she knows who he is because she's been watching the whole season of bachelor. Hi yes how were you like. So she was just somebody trying to get star. Yes so it's just like me like you are even worse than i thought. Yes so i. And i was so upset so we agreed to fake that everything is great. That's on the final rose. Because i just didn't want to deal with the drama and the tabloids like i am so not somebody that did this so my private life would be out there. Yeah so i was like. We'll do the final rose and then we'll just quietly fade way. You know what i mean. And so he wanted. They offer us to do a wedding and he called me to some pub london. Pub irish pub sat me down. It's like they're gonna. They're willing to pay us a million and i'm like i am not marrying you for five million no like you know what i mean. So he was always trying to wheel me back in and so we did the final rose. It was all fake and we back like a couple of the fun. Okay yeah but then. After that he leaves moves out. And i'm just out about living my life normally and pop razzi. Catch me like in the bahamas or something you know and i cheated or whatever it was like came out and i just didn't even respond quote. Nothing he was back in. London obviously wasn't as successful as an actor ac- thought he would be and it just kinda died. Yeah okay will listen. We have to do a part to. I feel like we're going to because we haven't even gotten my no you're infamous infamous night in las vegas. Oh yeah when you really did. Get very when i really did get married. "Was so nervous in my mind because i don't know accents. I don't even know. Countries beverly yearly is london. And like i do. But i'm saying and i'm just like gosh i don't know london. He's like dot squawked. Or however londoners. Talk and i like what man they give me a fucking like bachelor doesn't even look like who is guy and you know. He's supposedly the best bachelor they've had but yet the the bachelor prior to matt was the one that didn't choose anyone so the bachelor fan base like they striked on by seasons not like my season flying under the radar because it was on strike because the bachelor fans were not having another bachelor because grad just not chosen. Anyone god remember wasn't so thank. God i mean. My kind of season flew under. I watched it. Oh i i totally remember you. Because i remember i dislike. I love that you have such dark brown eyes and blond hair to look. I love so i just remember thinking knew i knew who your dad. Yes you know revealed it and i mean i remember great details. I just remember that you that you want it in the yes. Yes so yes so when you're doing the whole thing like did you start to fall for him on all these dates so i will say once i kind of settled in and i was like you know at the end of the day you can do an interview with me and i'm able to speak to you normally because i'm used to cameras in this and not like a lot of people get intimidated or get produced or you know and they're not themselves so when you're in front of the camera with you know trying to get to know somebody and there's a camera in your face like i'm a soap opera actress. True and try trained. I can totally act like that is not there right and just have a conversation and make him in turn feel comfortable because he's uncomfortable and so i will admit that i feel like i had that in an on my favorite and i didn't drink or get drunk or y- easy obviously and so when you're in this zombie like go to london and meet his family and do the whole thing. So when you're in this bubble and this is all your focus on because everything else is wiped away. Yes you you you. Almost you start to become like you like him. Yeah look for two and then you have all these people that are like just want his attention so then it becomes like united mean yeah. It's kind of empowering. And so i thought from that first day that i was just here for my career because know it said actress shayne lamas actress rate. And that's what i am. But i wanted to let him know from this. I am definitely not here for my career. Let's make that are here for the right reason. Clear right. I'm here for tashaun. Meet you and these crazy bitches for michigan are not okay they they wanna be famous and that is exactly how it basically i mean down to the final few. He weeded out all of them. But that is all now on there. So it's our people that just want to be famous. So it's the fantasy suites so that's between you and two other girls. Yes so you have to bone better than the two other girls. Yes and i told them i needed. I need the last date. Okay and he said like the you always want to be last like ice skating gymnastics and the bachelorette bone. I'm trying to think if we had sex or not because at that point you hadn't been touched in like five months from any man rhetoric mean. You're almost just like so. Yeah here's me. And i do wanna stay. We did in. That was interesting but we won't get into that he's from london so they do things differently on there. Okay and i i like uncircumcised. Yeah oh okay and then so you know obviously you wear protection and not. What have you anyways. He chose me clearly okay and so when when it goes down to the to. Yeah does he meet your family. Yes he meets my mom okay and then my dad. So my yeah. He met my. We lived in luca lake at the time. My mom did a beautiful house. Yeah they came my mom cooked. She showed him pictures of pageants and they watch videos the whole thing. Yup yeah and what did they think they re did you at this point. My my sister dakota. She's looking at me like trying to secretly talked to me with because they let you like alone. She's just like trying to like get a like. Is this real. Shane with booker. Your it's like. Are you going to get married. And you know i was thinking that you might take marry. I don't know to be honest. I think i was. Just i was young. And you're swept up in this fantasy world and then reality hits. Abc all right. He's all yours now and we go to sushi dan for our first dinner and he asked me to split the bill. Okay so we're talking via london and it's like nighttime that are right now so there was just. It was just total like very hard. You know 'cause. I missed tim and we wanted to be so. Abc setup like three secret date rendezvous where he would fly in. They would take him to a house in palm springs. And then somebody would drive me from here to palm springs and we would sit in the house for two days and we had little people to go out and get what we needed and that was like two or three. Those were always just a nightmare. Why getting to know who you're marrying. You're like what is going on. Like i remember being in the kitchen. And this was airing so you're also picking fights like why they're filming you in the little house. The show is aggregating onto your right. Why did you like that trapping me tonight on the episode like i just have to warn us and then we get into a fight and it's like i'm stuck in the house with you're just like oh my god you know at the end of the day's what did i think back. What did i give herself into. But then again. I get myself into a lot of things. Okay so then. how do you break up with. But it's still blowing boning springs. Yes okay but it's still almost like a facade because it's still they're putting you in this nice house and yeah right your life so then when real life happens. "You continue to walk around the grove and enjoy the fountains and this. Yes and you're like. I'm not doing the bachelor. No and with two of my girlfriends who are also. We're all outward. Yeah they didn't want them though. No i mean they. They weren't after her through them and so she kept following me around and she's like let me just ask you. She was very persistent. Are you single. And i'm absolutely yes. I'm single. Why would you not want to go. And meet the most fabulous bachelor in the world and i was like you have to think like after being in the writers strike. Nothing going on like it's just like it almost became like this might be just fun too. I also loved the bachelor show right. Because like i just everything about it and so i'm like well if i'm gonna meet a bachelor minus well. Abc hooked me up with one. Like maybe and so. I i thought about it. She they send me this con- like this to fill out like this thick questionnaire not doing it. I fly off to hawaii. They're calling me on my phone asking me to go get tested in hawaii. Because std's yes td's and i'm like i'm in hawaii a we. We have a bachelor who lived in hawaii. We have a testing center. We can see. I mean they picked. They sent a car to my hotel and at this point. I'm like picking up my phone like you want to do what. Okay fine if you get you know a car here all go run over there like i was just whatever like year. I mean it's not like i was even trying like they were. They really needed me early. And and so push comes to shove. I get approved to go on like in three days when these women have been pining away for a year. I mean like this whole progress like being cut and do so. I arrived to this hotel decided to do it. Stayed up one night just filled it all out. We'll go know they give me like a psych test. You know to make not crazy. And i just pack a bunch of dresses. My mom gives me dresses. And just go and unlike you know what mine is well figure out what you know is all about and how it works and behind the scenes like i in my mind. There was a lot of reasons right. I mean like. I could take just experience and why not i was twenty one i mean and so oh man so we were the bachelor or remember. Who was it exactly so we arrive to the hotel. Your phone away. Okay no contact nothing. And so i'm starting to realize like. Oh god you know like this is not a regular regular like i'm gonna go to my trailer. Do my things like you are staying. You have like a person that watches over you say so anyways they like. Send a girl home because i come in you know. And they didn't send her home until they found my herpes tests. Came in so and this is also by found out after so. I'm at the hotel. And they're waiting on the clearance of my herpes tough to send this other girl home right so my herpes test apparently comes in and they send that chick home. But could you imagine like we have shown law mrs herpes test. She's good she's good to go. Good to go get a whistle. Senator beco- that other one in room twenty three beat. You know i remember getting the phone call. Hello misamis this is the nurse. Just want to let you know. You're you're cleaning. i'm like yeah okay. Cool like i had no idea. It was all on a hinge like waiting for that. Because they don't tell you they're just like yeah. Yeah we need you. You're so you're thinking this whole time like you're in just like that but you know you never know your herbs so that was okay so pass that test and here you start from the beginning like walk out of the limo yeah. They sprayed the water on the driveway. Boys whining they'd have to do that. They didn't have to do that. Yeah glisten alma got so. I am in this limo with a bunch of crazies and i'm starting to it's starting to sink in like what i've done to myself ya. I'm thinking i have to live with these people. Right and then rancho be. I have to somehow like make this guy like me and not this slut. That has her underwear in her pocket. Ready to hand him when she gets out of the limo. You know what i mean and you know it's like she got eaten by producer. Obviously they fill producers know who they can produce and stay the fuck away from right. And i was that she knows the drill. Don't bother her unity and walk walkout. And who isn't. I remember looking out and being like. Oh my god can i run now and i was. I was thinking about just like just pulling it like. I can't do this. He was tall and and it was raining. And i'm just like oh my god you know because you're just like okay at this point now. I have to just focus on winning. You got to be sent home. I can't be set home. You don't do a show like that and then be sent home right embarrassing. I'm already taking my career and throwing it over my shoulder. Yeah let's not ruin my reputation or who. I am writing. This is terrible. And so i walk up and you know they had the super like my hair was blowing in the wind. And you know. Whenever you're the winner the last one your storyline from the beginning looks royal. Yeah so they will make no matter what they will make you look good. Yes you know the the last two or three right you guys. Who will kind of all look right. When there's the crazies and then so you know i knew that and so it's just like okay so i was there at that point. I met matt and he's from he goes some accident he goes i go. Oh you have an accent. He goes yes. Do you know where i'm from..

"For weddings. Oh my gosh. She should everyone an exclusive and show so that you pull the plug. He pulls the plug on barbara. Yeah okay and he tells all of us you know. Unfortunately that's just not gonna going to pan out then after barbara he was kinda single for awhile and then so here's me graduated For me it was either college. Which i don't even know where i would go. Yeah or hollywood. Because i was. I had Contract role for general hospital. Oh so you had an agent you were going all right so i was like studied all my life like you name it. I've been to that school because my dad always said you. You know you have to prove yourself in. That is so true because soap operas. You have so much so much dialect to memorize them. I like training it. The best training you can have is is if you book a soap opera. I mean it is hard work right and my father. I hill hill minute and i'll admit it i mean the name. It didn't help me. It didn't help me at all. Maybe it got me in the door because out of curiosity right. But i i had to prove the good right of course and back then. It was so different. No one's going to get. I always say that about this thing. Like yes you can. Maybe get an age. You can even maybe get an audition. But no one's going to give you the job unless you're right. Rob you gotta be right for. You gotta be able to do the job so you can't embarrass yourself you're going out and back then it was like if you're going out for a role you know like just because you have a name like you can't embarrass yourself. I mean there's word about so here. I choose general hospital. I move into my own apartments. Sweetser in hollywood and You know i start my life off. And i kind of go through my career a little bit. General hospital did a little parts here. Like you're almost. I call it paying dues. Yeah so as an actress you kind of start off just like obviously auditions auditions auditions. All day long auditions driving hoping to get that one part on cw. Or whatever. and so. I kind of did a little bit of that. So i was this kind of segue into wrapping up my adulthood because it was gossip girl's k. So it was between blake lively and myself and it was like because like after going in going in the casting directors. Come to know you you almost you. Just start moving up the list right and when they're looking for that type it's like you get crossed up. Okay she's so. I was pretty much right like it was time for me to hit a series regular like i was right there and when i lost out to blake who absolutely that is her role one hundred percent. I mean these things are almond to be right. The writers strike happens. And i don't know if you know but the writers strike. I'm sure you remember the hollywood. The two thousand seven restaurants. Yes because that's right. When i started chelsea lately which was not a writer gil though i was in riders skill. But you can do a show and i and i really think that really helped our show gain an honest so right because there was nothing else to watch but i'm to have a night. You are very correct on this. Oh that is so funny so yes because basically we were it was like the covert pandemic. Four hollywood yes. Everybody went black. Yes and Literally it was the most depressing time. I mean weeks and weeks of no auditions. Nothing and i'm just a. I was just this close to blowing up and i am walking around the grove and somebody approaches me and hands me a card and i look at the card and it says. Abc the bachelor casting agent. And i was like oh thank you through by the way. Are you single. And i'm like yes i'm single. I'm sorry i love the show. But i'm an actress. I can't do reality. your i mean back. In that time it was like oh my god. If you did reality and acting you were like xed out right. Halt like blacklisted. And we just looked at that as brow kind of yes or not professionally not professional. It's not the art right. It's like you know. I mean i'm used to an even so now like i'm used to speaking to press about a project. Not yeah my life like. That's just how i grew up. How is trained. My mother was a publicist. this is so anyway. I laughed interface. Okay wait with sunnier days ahead. A good night's rest helps us make the most of summer because quality sleep helps boost energy recovery and wellbeing. It really is so true. I have enjoyed my sleep number bed for a couple years now. My numbers of thirty five peters is a fifty five and it has made a huge difference in my life when i don't have my sleep number bed when i'm on the road i just don't sleep as well. Also some interesting things that they found is that according to sleep number.

'cause my cousin was more like my aunt but whatever i just remember her bad like it was what was her last day san. Yes shana fans yes. So yes because she was really thin shell either. They knew her mom but they went to that wedding. That's random i know. It was a flower girl at that was the only child to be at any of his weddings. Actually is a state. I pride myself on so there have a few kids but now they're breaking up so they have a few kids huge house here off. The you know the in the valley here. And i walk in. So this is all kind of unfolding. I walk in on my mother. And i go to steal her makeup or something like you know. And and there's this plea and little straw thing in powder and like i had never done drugs but i know what drugs look like and at that point. I'm like fifteen sixteen. My mom is still getting five thousand dollars because for child support. Okay so she just. She gave five hundred from doug. No from what. You lorenzo from lorenzo already now away so she's getting ready for you right okay. Ages already now eighteen. That's done so now. She just living off of my child support. I knew i had that upper hand in the back of my mind that she's living off of me basically because it's because because craig is for quotas data and he has a piece show okay and just like never was around. Dakota was at the window waiting for her father her childhood. Yeah well asia. And i were with our dad land. Vip live the life right. So i mean my sister has no excuses because she's been around it. Seen it john it. She has no excuses for. I understand people say like oh. We'll her childhood love blah but when you are aware of things and then you choose to go into that world. That's your fault. do you know what i mean. You cannot blame your childhood your whole life so anyways so you see the co pay and i asked my mother. What is this and she goes. It's diet pills crushed up. I'm like okay well. I'm not an idiot. And i go like this and i put here and i go. Oh really mom. And i'm like oh. This is disgusting. And i told her if i ever saw this again i was moving out to live with my father which would take the five ground away which would take five grand away so i saw it again another week. I go to my dad. And i sat him down and i tell him and he goes daughter. Why don't you move in with me. Because i'm about to divorce. Shawna and i have three children ages one two and four sitter come out. I could use you. So i'm about to tell shawna that i want a divorce but i'm planning on moving all of us out malibu. So come live with me in malibu. You can have your child support every month in your own account about me. I'll buy your own car so it's like absolutely done signed me up right i was. Oh my god. How sixteen seventeen brilliant. And then it's like. And then. I could glauber laura's my value barbie but skipper the nanny right right. But here's the thing i then said. But you're gonna have a nanny right and so it was the nanny and me and my dad because my dad was then doing every movie under the sun like snakes eat their heads. Off in vulgarity. Movies yeah so international. He was gone right so we had like a house. Market credit account. Like you could go to the grocery store in malibu like the the prices are just. I mean ridiculous. But i'd buy everything like i was. I a chevron gas card. Like i was getting my money put into my account and nobody taught me about finances or anything like i was just living while my mom was just not so now. How's your mom gonna pay the rent. When she's got a crack habit not my problem. But what about dakotas. So then dakota ends up moving in with me. Oh okay now living with always taken under my best like yeah. Just i just have. And that's just we been sisters and she's being left at home to spend for herself and dinner and like she's so sh- it was like a party so i went to malibu. High dakota then transitions to like a homeschooling program. Where she just shows up with once a week to check in with somebody and I'm living living my life and my dad. But here's i do want to mention this. My father is so funny because so he goes. We're all in the car. My dad shawna and girls and he decides to tell shana he wants to divorce in front of me. It was just very appropriate of my dad's and he goes. I wanted to and she's like holding crispy cream donuts like i'll never forget and she looks at me. Like what did you have anything to do with this. You don't like what you like. Why did he want to divorce her. Do you ever tell you 'cause she's batch it like. I must admit absolutely. She's a smart woman but okay she somebody you look at and you go okay. I understand like you would think she is. She is okay and so my father. My father ends up having full custody of my children. Are michael sisters basically. What's your children high. Grew up with my little sisters in the back of my vm. Own going tanning earl. Three girls yeah me and the nanny and what have you. So then i hit eighteen and my dad is now engaged to barbara okay. Who says she's got a kind of you know. Hit the payment but barbara. My father never married because the night before the wedding. He caught her Like sniffing cocaine off of the strippers body. And he's like okay. Where rolled off to do that. So wait what do where to barbara cub from. She's an actress or strut is an actress. Barbara is an field so she they were a strip club the night before the wedding having fun yes she was having her like bachelorette and how did he catch for that and he caught her because she wasn't picking up and we had our whole family and from new york staying at the beverly hills with wedding. Yes beverly is how towel huge wedding food paid for where you're going to be in this. Yes absolutely address. Us and my grandmother is like everyone. Is there for the wedding. This is the night before. And he pulls the plug he pulls the. How at times has your dad been featured in people.

"You of see that too. And she's like he went down to grab me hot dog us. A hot dog ever came that. And she's like that's your father. And i'm like okay i mean and of course she's telling me this when i'm a grown woman like i i didn't know any of this and i don't hold it against either one of them you know at this point. It's their story and so she raises me and when dad would come to pick up. Aj he became. He came to an age where he's like. I'm not leaving unless my sister is coming with me and so with about you right. Yeah and so. It became like okay. Maybe i should you know do test. And obviously i'm his and so then that's how my father nice about how old probably like one. Okay right facility. Yeah yeah so. So then. They divorce and Yeah and then there's that so they get divorced and so then you were but you lived with your mom here in la right. So i lived with my mom in. La she remarries to my sister. Dakota's dad okay. Who they have dakota right is just i feel like he's like that guy like back in the eighties. Like the core bet and the good fun guy. You know what i mean like. She was just going for that like she wanted to. Party like live in that like young fun back in the day like lifestyle and she ran it. Because craig is just a random. I mean the stepdad. Craig is kinda random. Okay so she kind of like married him some off the wall guy and then earthquake the big earthquake. Ninety four okay. Yeah that breaks. are we're living in woodland hills okay and that breaks a huge massive window and so they decide to move to arizona. Okay and my dad's signs away his right parental rights and he will tell you that that's his What do you call regret. Vegas regret because he signed his like well. Yeah no shit. If you're going to sign for your to take your kids arizona you pretty much saying the by even feel like a ninety four. Wasn't that long ago. But i feel like Even with my husband's dad was married before he was born with his mom. And that sort of happened because people like you know especially if they had a especially if the woman had remarried right and it was like well. Why complicated this they see as their father reading the dad didn't know that he could actually hired attorney and half like father are right especially twenty years ago right. It was definitely more common that that would happen. And he was in the midst of his career blowing and he then married kathleen. Kim mont who was his co star. Renegade okay so regardless of that we moved to a little town called air or lake havasu yes and it was like a boating town. Spring breaks pretty fun. But yeah. But i don't want to live here. I saw you out on like ditching high school. Like you know so when we i haven't been back in god knows when yeah i don't refer to that place as home although i will say that is basically my childhood. Okay go boating. That type of guy. And i had a normal awesome childhood. Okay like for instance. My mom had dinner on the table of. I was in sports. She was involved. I mean she divorces crag who's a nightmare and remarries a doctor of the town so they become very charitable and profitable. And they're going you know out and about so now you're on stepdad number to the doctor. And it's it's aj you and dakota and so we're now immersed into our childhood and i'm going to school climbing trees riding bikes. I mean just typical awesome childhood. I couldn't have asked for anything more and no trauma. Nothing so and then. I would go see my father here. Nah you know christmas. Every other month. Every summer i spent with my dad. So i was just the typical kind of childhood situation. But you know my dad was who he was that i mean i still live normally my mom then divorces the doctor because he cheats on her with. She did with her bridesmaid. Oh yeah gnarly tell them mind so my threatened so so she found out so she found out via fax because every year fax machines. This is so classic classic so every year doug mice stepdad. Dr doug dr doug catcher. Hey whatever yeah even event right crate hor vet dr doug now dr dogs so dr doug goes to you know annual doctors meetings. You know conventions. What have you in vegas. Just so this year dr. Doug did not invite my mother and so she was a bit suspicious yes and so when he got home she called the hotel and was like hello. I'm mrs hade. And i just need you to send me over all of our hotel. Bill what have you you. Because i need to have it and i don't have it and i just want to go over the bill and see if it's crack so she says as it's coming out of the fax machine. She sees massage for to dinner for two right. I'm getting chosen. You know about it and and then like like as it's popping up and it's just like the most affair ish you know like cliche absolutely the hands down could not be anything more than what exactly she thought and why she was doing so she's pulling a so. She calls all her friends and then she calls. I h and i were in high school at the time and we get this thing on the intercom you know. Aj llamas enchaine llamas. "Sandy is kind of like you know eyeing when her and johnny were throwing her off brands though is like the clean cut guy grease dying his hair blonde because he looked so much like john that they want. You know yes my dad. That was his first big huge obviously. I can't my dow's in greece to be honest like she's like blows my mind but and then from there he kind of just took roles and then he he did falcon crest which is a huge soap opera back in the dallas type of what kicked him off and then from there he did renegade and renegade ran for gosh. I don't ten twelve years pretty much my whole childhood. When i would come see my dad it would be on the set of renegade out here so i grew up. You know set going to hair makeup and them doing you know just what. How long was your dad married to your mom. Because i know he's engaged to his sixth wife. I like his probably twentieth. Maybe thirtieth engagement or what but it is his actual even like kind of just lost track. Whatever the women have the exact same name as well. Shawna sean. yeah we call them. Shawna shawna to. They're actually shot. A wife for sean wi five yes okay so. My dad was actually married before my mom. Okay for a short period of time or no kids. Don't even know what her name was victoria. Okay and then. That's all i know of her. So then my dad. Mary's my mother who was his publicist and so. My mom worked for pm k. k. And she was engaged to kurt. Russell my mother oh okay and so she was going to marry her and my dad just like he does with all these other women just comes in like like he's like the man on the white horse like he's just so utterly romantic and charming. He sweeps these women off their feet. And so my mom starts to fall in love with my father while she's still hitting kurt. Kurt has not fallen. Has not goldie is in the picture but goldie is the one trying to get kurt and trying to get my mother fired. You know what. I mean so goldies always had an eye for kurt like she swooped in right when you know she could and took him but my mom will tell you if she was still with us that that was her biggest regret was leaving her. I mean because at the end of the day my father is a playboy hurts. Turned out to be a pre pretty great partner and saw mother and stepfather swears that he is not married. Goldie because he is still in love with her o- but i mean yes so we're in this because i'm trying to think of time you've ever in the movie you've seen. Have you seen overboard us. Okay favorite absolutely so. That were they together during that moving. Is that where they fell in love. I think they were together at that point. I want to say that they were together. That would have been like mid to late eighties. I think yeah it was right around that point. I think yes that is kind of fun. That's i should look that up. I'm not quite sure. But i think it was time line. And they're great. I mean those two obviously are like two peas in a pod. I mean they're just an adorable couple even told this day. I mean you look at your could you. You could have been sisters sisters with stepsister. Kate hudson but i know i go mother. I wouldn't be here right. Exactly be here. You've just look different. I don't wanna look different like you don't mean it's almost like i'm offended that right right but so that would be her so funny to think about that. Because i mom was like engaged this guy before my dad too and so i i would be like without been like if you would have you know and i remember what time i was telling my son about this really rich guy dated and how we met at the. You know at a restaurant in the hotel trader trader. Vic's how we're driving around. Beverly hills and i'm telling you my mother's favorite. Why did you buried. we'd be living in beverly hills now and it's like you wouldn't be you he goes. I don't care totally. And that is what i would think he would say like what is wrong with you. Mom like hello. No absolutely i mean all they get married always still been in love with with curt hints. I mean this is being with. Your mom passed so my mom passed two years ago And then we'll get into that but so then they get married so they have together besides you. Aj was born my brother. And then they separate it okay. Because my dad started to be almost like a nick. Ritchie like my mo my dad so my mom was a publicist right so my dad became publicist worst nightmare. Right he would be like flirting with the host and my mom would just be like in the background. Like you know what i mean host of the restaurant or whatever no of the show show talking like he was just my dad is. That's just my super charming. And and that i mean not saying nick was like that. I'm just saying he just became a nightmare of what he would say and do like no no. Why are you saying that like what. And so you know and my mom was in the hollywood life you know. So it's like she was immersed in and had aj and my dad didn't want her to work anymore so she stops you know. Her whole career raises ages anyways there in the separation there pretty much going to get divorced and my dad had a interview in new york. And so that's where i happen just off the cost. They just hooked up on night because she had she was there. She was there to show. Aj so she went so you were a bone on it like on a visitation right right right absolutely so then when i'm in my mom's pregnant she's like i'm pregnant. He didn't believe her right. That is not my daughter so but he ends up somehow holding me when i'm born in the picture like there's that my mom got that photo so it's like growing up. You know what. I mean so good. I always wanted to java. Not one how she convinced vinced him like come to the hospital at least when she's born so anyways he says he's going to get a hot dog and my mom says he never returned so when pickup up where a hospital hotdog downstairs by cedars was hot dog carts back in the day..

I wanted just sort of explain a little bit how these interviews came about since i had your soon to be ex husband on so i came across you like few months ago and i reached out to you because i was like. Xactly right to you. And then later on i see you guys are getting or right around that i see you're getting divorced and i it seems crate. You know well. After eleven years you know fads cow parent you and all. That was like aright. Then i saw. It wasn't getting so nice. And then when he came on i said full disclosure neck told him this whole story. Right he goes. Okay fine yeah so you know and so then. We made a plan for you to come last week. You let me know a couple of days before that you took your daughter to texas and you've got very sick that you didn't have covered but you got sick and i just wanted people to know that that was not you flaking. So when i tested and i was negative as like what you know but i was still sick. They're like you have one of the other million viruses that are out. There still exist ton of them covered. I'm just like you know you're right. It was it was very odd. It was probably a mix of exhaustion and struggle. And yeah everything you my whole life is just like so i wanna get to your life. You have very juicy life okay. So your dad is lorenzo. Lamas now i was. He wasn't he what is he. What was he most for within greece. To what was he in okay. So he's most famous for first of all his parents. Which is arlene doll. My grandmother. Okay and fernando lamas which is my grandfather. So they of their day. This is like my grandmother actually is the last living woman of that old. Hollywood era were they would get like contracts. Gm and like marilyn monroe right. Yes and so. My grandfather cheated on my grandmother with esther williams who also was a major star in. Who is the queen of synchronized swimming. Yes who really started at all. I mean just gorgeous stunning and did all these like big production moved right. Yeah so you don't wanna talk about in front of my grandmother really okay. So my grandmother then moved to new york and aster and fernando lich here beverly hills where my dad grew up and did they ever since they marry they married. Yes my grandfather but your dad was. You're the grandmother. The first he was desert so step mom. Yes got it. Got it great. So lorenzo's s mom stepmom with australian right so he grew up in this so he grew up obviously in this world in southern california. La you know as a as a star son and my grandfather was probably the biggest name in his day. i mean he's on johnny carson. And i watched it the other day on youtube for the first time and i was dying like my grandfather. You know spanish. He's very stern. He has accident johnny goes. How are you phenomenon dough. And he goes on not great. I'm not great and johnny goes. Well you look fabulous he goes. I guess it's better to look good than to feel good my my grandfather has these coined phrases that are just from that time. Yeah not he he was on. I love lucy as himself for window and lucy. She's just obsessed with the actor so it just goes back the history and the roots and my father told my grandfather. I wanna be an actor. And he goes well do a scene for me and he did a scene and he said okay. Good luck and so. My dad did some. What do you call it. You know going into one of the acting. Many acting classes or schools here and started studying and his first role was greece. And it was between him and john travolta for the main role okay and they ended up going with jon clearly but they gave my dad who is like eighteen years old. A little a little part right where he is this. I don't even think he he's. He's fine but he's the jar he's steps in the helmet and who Her name is sent..

Moving With the Absence of Judgment

"Giving talks over zoom. I had my first in person speaking engagement at a local unity church although it was over stimulating for me to be in a room filled with so many people in live music after such a long stretch of peaceful solitude. I somehow managed to maintain composure. And keep my cool. Transitioning back into social events is going to be a gradual exercise for me. I had one event this month. There are two next month and then half a dozen that involves some travel the month after that while some people have anxiety about businesses opening up again distance travel restrictions being lifted and facemasks no longer being a requirement in some areas. There are also many people who are excited to get back out there to socialize and mingle let's be gentle and understanding with one another check with someone if they are open to hugging before assuming that they are and honor. Everyone's comfort level prior to my talk on sunday. The minister said our life. Experience is directly affected by our mythology. This got me thinking about what a difference perspective can make when it comes to our ability to love everyone on the one hand a friend recently told me he believes in our human nature to judge others and that my entire premise of non judgment is therefore idealistic and unrealistic. Wife fight nature. Is my friends. Go to reasoning for humans being so selfish on the other hand. The dalai lama says that love is the absence of judgement. So what's in question is no longer whether or not we can love freely. It is suddenly a discussion about us. Judging compulsively it doesn't matter if loving or judging is in our inherent nature because we aren't concrete and nothing is permanent only fixed above all else it's ultimately in our nature to evolve like all beings so we are not limited restricted or confined by our past. We are shaped but what we decide to do. In the

Developing a Stronger Sense of Self and Truth With Maureen Pelton

"Do we separate what we know in our brains to be true. Let's say and an intuition or a sense of something that might come to us from a different place. Do you ever hundred percent know something is true for you. That's a really good question. And i spent twenty some years embodiments and how to discern between the two. And i'm gonna i start by saying there's no absolute so and there's no one hundred percent so it is what i call developing muscle. We exercise to develop our muscles. Strengthen them will listening to our body listening to our wisdom listening tore intuition versus all the chatter in the head that is developing a muscle practice. And i encourage playfulness. I encourage innocence and joy and curiosity as we explore this. Because we're we're way too serious. And that is the brain in the ego. And it is the place of the beginner. Mind as they call it or the neutral observer where something comes up something emerges we know something we feel something and we sit with. Oh well that's interesting and we don't go into your boy. It's absolutely right or that. That is true. We stay with that and it is revealed that the minute go on our head and this is what a lot of us are conditioned to do and we try and make sense of it and put meaning to it and find the mechanism for when that happens. We have now left the body and we're back living above the neck and then the muscle doesn't get developed. So i talk a lot about and teach a lot about the neutral observer. The silent witness that is just receiving and full of curiosity on wondering innocence. Enjoy and one of my greatest teachers around that. Because i have had the pleasure of being with his holiness the dalai lama in his place in dharamsala a couple times as well as in larger venues that he's brilliant but he sits in that place of joy innocence and wonder and playfulness. And that's where. I feel a lot of fluidity. In emerging an unfolding of what is

When i was five my sister was seven and we were traveling to the united states to really come reunify with my mom who had run from oaxaca because of like domestic violence and when she arrived here actually that domestic violence followed her and so two years later. She requested that that we also come so. That's kind of how we arrived here in france nine. I've been here. Israel Independence War Era Weapons Cache Discovered in Tel Aviv

"The day before yesterday as we record a gardener found underneath a bush at number twenty two cream as street a cache of world war two vintage bullets artillery shells and grenades which ordinance was stowed under a bush three quarters of a century ago by members of the haganah jewish militia to keep british soldiers and centuries from finding it such a hiding place for weapons was called a sleek from the hebrew root some lama couth to make rid of and in the one thousand nine hundred eighty s there were hundreds of maybe thousands all around the country though most of them were dismantled as soon as the brits left palestinian nineteen forty eight. But you know how it is. You put your grenades and your artillery shells in your bulletin a whole under bush in your yard and then you get busy ensure the brits go home but you tell yourself you'll empty the gun whole tomorrow and if it's not one thing it's another before you know it seventy odd years of pass that is just life in the big city so this week. The police bomb squad piloted remote control. Sapper robots under the tree and they exploded some of the grenades shells and bullets. And they neutralize the rest and sent them to the tel aviv. Fortnite for beginners

"Fortnight is a massive multiplayer online video. Game developed by epic games released in two thousand seventeen is available in three distinct game mode versions so they otherwise share the same general game. Play in game engine But these three distinct versions are fortnight. Colon save the world. Okay fortnight no colon battle royale fortnite battle royale and fortnight creative. Oh there's three of them. So the objectives vary depending on which mode you're playing but the broad goal of fortnight is to survive against a prolonged force antagonist who will attempt to eliminate you okay so for night begin from an internal game jamat epoch game so there in american video game and software developer and publisher based out of north carolina So they did this internal game jam around twenty eleven after they published the game gears of war so a game jam which i only recently learned at work a game. Jam is a contest where participants try to a video game from scratch with a specific deadline. So it's usually like twenty four hours or you know maybe maybe seventy two hours to work to come up with this so it's kind of like a like a creativity burst. I'll shut the the bowl of that is to work with other people and create a game from scratch so depending on the format again your participants might be in teams maybe you are working independently. Who knows but epic games is also the developer of the unreal engine which is an open source in advanced real time. Three d creation tool. And you'll hear a lot of Video games and special effects and even like some film stuff runs off of this unreal engine. So the unreal engine. Original purpose was as a state of the art game engine. But it's now used across industries so it's for cutting edge content interactive experiences in immersive virtual worlds Unreal engine is a real time engine. An editor that features photo realistic rendering dynamic physics and effects robust data translation and also lifelike animation. So it's kind of a big thing whenever somebody is using the unreal engine. You know you're going to get really could effects from it so that that's all out of epic games which which founded in the savage that engine so for me was not initially one of the games that was actually developed during that game jim but the concept of merging the construction game genre so games like sim city or minecraft with shooter games came together and it led to the foundation affording. So you probably know. It sim city is if you're our age but a refresher on minecraft so in minecraft which was first released in two thousand nine actually players. Explorer blackie procedurally generated three d world with infinite terrain and they may discover an extract raw materials craft tools and items and build structures or works so game modes in minecraft include a survival mode in which players must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health and creative mode where players have unlimited resources. So players can modify or maud game to create new gameplay mechanics items and assets and minecraft has a very distinctive like visual s. That like you can recognize if somebody showing you a screenshot of minecraft. So what epic did is they prepared to release fortnight as a paid early access title in july twenty seventeen and they had plans to release it as free to play some time in twenty nine thousand nine after gaining feedback from players to improve the game so originally titled fortnight and lear renamed to fortnight colon. Save the world. This original base module is a player versus environment cooperative game. So you have four players collaborating toward a common objective on various missions. The game is set after a fluke. Storm appears across earth causing about ninety eight percent of the population to disappear and the survivors are attacked by zombie. Like husks so the player takes the role of commanders of home. Shelters collecting resources saving survivors and defending equipment. That helps to either collect date on the storm or push back the storm. In from missions players are awarded a number of in game items including hero characters. Weapons trap schematics and survivors all of which can be leveled up through gained experience to improve their attributes. Also you're working together with people against this common enemy player versus environment cooperative game. In around the same time the epic released fortnight into early access pub g had become a worldwide phenomenon selling millions of copies and drawing strong interest in the battle royale genre so a battle royale game is an online multiplayer video game that blends the survival exploration and scavenging elements of a survival game with kind of the last man standing game. Play so the name. The genre is taken from two thousand japanese film titled battle royale which was based on a novel of the same name and presents a similar theme of a last man standing competition in a shrinking play zone. So you've heard people. My brother plays this one. You've heard people's mentioned before what the heck is pub- g it's an abbreviation for player unknowns battlegrounds so that's an online multiplayer battle royale game and in this game one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others while avoiding getting killed themselves So there's an available safe area. The games map which decreases in size over time and it ends directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters with other players. And the last player or team standing wins the round The game's concept and design was led by brendan green. Who's better known by his online handle player known and he'd previously created mods for other battle rail type games pudgy was the top selling premium game of two thousand seventeen selling thirty million copies worldwide and grossing. About nine hundred million dollars. I have can. I tell you never heard of this game in my whole life. You know you are. You aren't really doing a lot of player games. How it's absolutely right. You know what i. It's funny i feel like there's been a couple of questions and learn a league in maybe the last five seasons or so that like the answer will be some video game or something that we that when we see the answer. We've never heard of this popular selling thing in all of the world and it sold got julian copies and everybody except you plays it. What's the so this is why we're absolutely. Yeah so you know. Epochs saw what pudgy had been doing and they were like maybe we could also do a battery. Yeah so what. Epic did was rapidly develop their own version atop their original fortnight in about two months so by september two thousand seventeen at was about to release this as a second mode from save the world in the paid for earlier access but then later decided to release this as a free game that would be supported with microtransactions. Microtransactions are the business model where users can purchase virtual goods with micro payments and make your transactions are often used in free to play games to provide a revenue source for the developers and there are a staple of the mobile app market so in game currency in fort night is called v books to them. You might see this icon happens sometimes. The you see llamas pop up and fortnight okay. So llamas also known as lama pinatas are the main loop boxes in fortnight and they are also fortnight's primary mascot so the vendor tech store is where players can purchase lama pinatas to break open for rewards in llamas can be produced using view bucks or event specific currency and they contain various helpful. Items like heroes schematics. Weapons and there are also different types of llamas in the game including basic llamas daily llamas and event llamas so For an has a very distinctive aesthetic. It's very cartoony. there's a very distinct color palette. I mean it's it's actually pretty visually pleasing see this distinctive looking lama. You know that that is for

"This is the advanced selling. Podcast list of tools gear people and things you need to be following things you need to have in the bag so analysts tools that we recommend people that we follow books that we read or listen to anything else. This is going to be a quick rapid. Here's they are not a lot of depth into them but you can go research them on your own but we get asked all the time. So what books do you read. What podcast you listen to what tools you use. Well we're going to tell you that in this episode. That's what we're going to do. So it's gonna be like a list big list and then you can go check them out and hopefully someone's gov a great tool. Thank you for telling me that. So these are in no order than no order. I've got him in order. Yes you want to put them in order now. That'll that'll take agree. So because i've got some. I've got some tools. Some software some gear some gear stuff than calling people. I follow so also kinda start. You bet software app that everybody needs to have on their chrome as an extension as crystal knows c. r. y. s. T. a. l. k. w. ws s. Crystal knows it's a preparation tool for any conversation. You have with someone. It essentially looks at their lincoln profile. Organizes there that information at finds into a disc profile which is a really easy to understand personality profile better than that though. It teaches you how to talk to them. That has a conversation coach. Based on what. I'm going to be talking to the person about and the modality that i'm gonna use to talk to them so basically says i need to email bill to make a good first impression and it gives you a little sound bytes based on bills linked in profile. And it's amazing. Everybody should use crystal nose. Crm s keynote abuse by the way none of these people were affiliated with right right. There's no need advertiser huge talked about talked about four and it's good good My first one is rev dot com read on com. Rav a dictation service Let's imagine you leave a meeting and you want to dictate A follow up email. You will describe your phone. Open up the revs. Aft- dictated now. You can do the same thing with siri but ravitch's really reliable Person on the. There's a human being you're actually dictates. Transcribes it if it's longer form it's probably better like if you wanted to Dictate an article or you think. There's a really good idea for an article you can dictate. Let them do it. And then come back and modify edited. But i think it's a great time saver it's about a buck and a quarter a minute so it's pretty reasonable. Chances are you're not going to have really long things you're going to be doing in there. But dot com is one of my favorite tools. Love it my next one. That i doubt a lot. Same deal no affiliation whatsoever. Huge fan of gong dot com. Many of you have heard of that. Were power users here at our firm and it is such a useful tool for coaching and for self evaluation of Sales conversation and you get data back from gung dot com. That talks about things you should and shouldn't do in the sales process. All based on data and artificial intelligence is fantastic. Gung dot com Recommend any sales leader listening to this to go check them out against affiliation with podcast so de fan big fan Might second one is A twenty dollar tripod. That i cannot all in on We're going to start doing some youtube shorts. I don't know if you're familiar with youtube shorts but They're all vertical. You see them on the shelf underneath your main youtube feed. So if you're on your mobile you'll start to see these. You're kind of wondering what they are. They're called shorts and they're less than a minute and but they have to be vertical. So you can do a short for youtube and also repurpose it on instagram. Or or one of the other verticals sites. But you need. You need a tripod. if you're going to do any kind of stuff like that. I think the days of holding it for certain things but if you're going to produce something that you want hundreds of thousands of people to see i think you need some kind of stable base for your found Tripods are easy amazing. How many how few people have them. Twenty dollar version is not a floor. Length just sits on your desk and it's really makes a real easy to record. I love twenty bucks on amazon twenty bucks amazon bills amazon link kidding okay. Here's i'm gonna go to people follow. I've got three people. Fallout of Texas winter blast

"Good evening. Thank you for joining us. The governor of sexist apologizing and promising answers after a deadly winter storm the deep freeze. Just the start of an ongoing nightmare for residents now. Struggling with shattered pipes in skyrocketing energy. Bill here's abc's tripled. I can't imagine what it's like for you to see it like this is terrible. I've never thinking house. This brianna bolden tells me she could smell the soap rotting wood from outside the front door of her grandmother's house before walking into this is pictures and the memories. They captured all underwater. And this is actually my big lama right here. This is all and that's the past those wife for half a century. Her grandparents filled this home with children and grandchildren home cooked meals. Tiny reminders of a family growing together is a lot of memories at this house. But now this house like so many in texas has been gutted. Helplessly flooded by first hypes last week's historic winter storm on your couch look. The damage is just a fraction of the devastation. in texas. that killed thirty. Two people will take months or years and billions of dollars to clean up. So how did it go so wrong so quickly. Texas has more than enough generating capacity to handle itself. It was just the state of affairs of that equipment and the state of affairs of the management of that equipment. The causes from texas is the only state in the continental us with an independent grid meaning. It does not connect to any other states power source. When that merciless winter weather hid in one of the warmest regions of the country. People crank up their heaters and the energy demand surged when that system shut down. There was nowhere to turn for power. There is no place for the texas grid to go there. Couple small lines extension cords to the east in the west. But that's not enough really to to pick up. A forty percent drop in texas generation and the result was more than three million texas residents in the dark and cold at one point leading many to take drastic measures for running dangerously low on one. So now what we've been doing. All day is actually coming outside getting snow putting it are pods and heaving on our propane grill. Then hypes began to freeze and burst shutting down water treatment plants across the state inning. Almost fifteen million texans would have to toil their water of four. It was safe to drink daily block water. We don't even have the electric reliability council of texas or bur. Kat had long been warned. Its infrastructure was vulnerable to freezing temperatures the state legislature held hearings on this exact issue in twenty eleven. The last time the state experienced major freeze there were numerous hearings hundreds of pages of recommendations but they were all made voluntarily. Nobody actually change the incentives so that the generators would have a financial reason food to weather. Is this week. Several urquhot born members resigned in the wake of this disaster today in virtual urquhot board of directors meeting. The chairwoman acknowledged the pain and suffering of texans her resignation effective after the meeting ended. All of our hearts go out to all of you with head to go without electricity. Heat water not attending and food during frigid temperatures and continue to face the tragic consequences in some cases. The loss of a loved one state leaders have promised an investigation into urquhot handling of the crisis and members of both parties and the governor of rowing to make sure texans are on the hook for those astronomical electric bills at a time when essential services were needed. The most the system broke. You deserve answers. You will get those answers but people brianna bolden are in need of far more immediate solutions. She's facing mounting hardships. Having recently lost her father and grandfather. It sounds like your grandmother doesn't have home insurance right now. She don't she couldn't afford it anymore. Every generation been through this. Is papa really worked hard for this. I'm sorry statewide. There is so much damage from burst. Pipes plumbers can't keep up see the water. We have another one right here. Everardo omega of a plumbing. In houston says he's crews have been working around the clock just as bad. I mean there's necas mad and they're receiving more calls than they can answer this heartbreaking the tell somebody. uk make we broke down here. Twenty five hours plummer andrew mitchell in his family driving all the way from new jersey with a car full of equipment in arts in short supply here for just going to see what we can do to help out texas residents and also converging in texas to help out the cajun navy civilian volunteers known for using their big trucks. Kamal boats for rescues during major storms like hurricane harvey in twenty seventeen. We talked with a lot of people around here who've been they were impacted by hurricane harvey. I dealing with this. A lot of people think that this is worse than a hurricane's coming in we have more. We know what's going to happen with this disaster. We did not know what was coming. Community was not prepared. No one knew what was coming riley at this is marin mckim. She spent the last decade doing aid work in africa. When disaster struck home she was one of the first on the front lines. The cajun navy has gotten quite good quickly setting up distribution sites like this one but with so many people impacted. What's perhaps most useful is their platform and their connections. Cajun navy crowd sources disasters and cajun navias known so once we find the need we start using the social media platform and we put the word out there and people want to help on this day. They're delivering to katy texas home to just over twenty thousand with some areas still under a boil. Water notice

L'Oreal Paris Elvive 8-Second Wonder Water: Worth The Hype?

"Have you heard of this stuff lori. L. eight second wonder water. I have not oh okay. Let me tell you a little bit about it. It's a newer product. It is a tiny twenty allure. Best of beauty winner now. okay. I don't normally give much credence to like product awards but the allure. Best of beauty is one that i do hold in very high regard. I understand. I think that is like when i see that. Something has their seal of approval. Yeah i i read the review on the website. I love their year end list really their staff. Yeah so this is just been like hot on line. I believe hot on the graham. Maybe the talk. I don't know because my brain is mush talk. Yep that's what everybody calls it talk. I don't know like even where it entered my brain space just because there's so much scrolling and tiredness going on On point. I became aware of this right. So this uses something called lama lar- technology which essentially from what i have read it zones in on the parts of your hair that need treatment deep conditions at very quickly and leaves you with a silky smooth conditioned hair and hey the name of the second wonder water which is like amazing marketing. You're only supposed to massage on your head for eight seconds. See it comes with a squirt to but actually has the dosage amounts on the back marked so like it's like this is trying out says like this is how much or like this is one usage so i found that very helpful. Thank you laurie. Al and you play it after shampooing you squirted all over your head and into your hair for the aforementioned eight seconds and then you rinse it out and it warms on your head like it's like a wo- s it. It's a strange feeling. I'm gonna. I'm gonna grade at a b. minus c. plus okay so. That's not super enthusiast. Now i was like so it costs about ten bucks and i'm going to try it one more time to just kind of see if maybe you know. Maybe i didn't massage for the full eight seconds. I don't know it might just be my hair. I posted on instagram. And lots tons of people responded about it and many had tried it and loved it. If other people whom like a blue blue drood blue drood lou dried lows dried. I blow dry my hair after which is of a bottle recommends and my hair was nice. It was smooth. it was silky. "Different answers from other ethnobotanist within the tribes that you've spent time. This is gonNA sound like an odd question, but it's related to the male female split among practitioners and that is what percentage is I know too lame question but what percentage of the use of hallucinogens specifically is focused on hunting Aspects of hunting or warfare maybe less today. But tribal warfare you know in my experience at tribes at I spent considerable time with that are very much into hallucinations on a regular basis or in the northwest Amazon. And most of the at work with don't use hostesses in the Shingo in the southeast Amazon in Brazil the trio's up on the Suriname Brazil border the Wyan is on the Surinam French Guiana border the wise on the surname. Surinam Guyana border. So I can't give you a straight answer Tim I. It doesn't break down very easily and. Most of the groups that I've worked with warfare is definitely thing of the past except for some. When I worked twenty years ago spent time there twenty years ago. There was still warfare the different villages but I think that's gone by the wayside since then and hunting and the reason I'm asking is I'm curious if the disproportionate male representation in working with some of these plants. Is related to a disproportionate traditional application to hunting which I would assume in many of these cultures is predominantly male but maybe that's overreach I don't know I haven't thought of that but I think that makes very good sense and the tribes that I spend time with the do a lot of Iowa. Oscar for example and Yopal. It's primarily for hunting hunting visions, hunting magic. and seeing where the animals are going to be. But as I said, the Una mommy were still doing some more favor limited amount and that was primarily the men the men were the were doing all the Opel that I shall what do you think the this is a heavy terms maybe it's not the right way to phrase it but the. Responsibility if any for people in the United States and elsewhere who are using these compounds from the Amazon to in some fashion support or protect the communities, the people from which these medicines came. And that's a loaded question so you can answer it however you want. I find it highly Iran that all these people are talking about the vine of life. Don't look where the stuff's coming from hedge humans complaining that they see planeloads this stuff flying out of the northwest. Amazon, they never got anything forward. There was no replanting They didn't know where it went. It was it was a sacrilege to them. So I would like to think that everybody should be thinking about giving back whenever they benefit for something. I'm not just talking about hallucinations, but there seems to be a lot or very little interest in in supporting these forests bring little interest in supporting the other than okay this. Guy gave me the brutal drink. So I got slipped a few bucks is just kind of disconnect that it's all about healing but they're not thinking about who they need to heal as reciprocity for getting some of healing. You know what I'm saying it do is there anything they can do and this could relate to Amazon conservation team or any number of other things. But I'm wondering if people who are listening whether, they have benefited from psychedelics weather derived from or synthesized based on the molecular structure of natural compounds if they wanted to try to support and certainly this is a great time to support because not unlike the. Native American communities in the United States, the indigenous tribes certainly speaking with some of my friends in South America are having just an atrocious time with covid nineteen and having food supplies cut off and it being viewed in some ways as an opportunity for governments to withhold resources in. It's very tragic situation. So I think that the timing couldn't be better in the sense for supporting the communities from which a lot of these medicines came. WHAT CAN PEOPLE DO? Are there any any steps you might recommend any things you might suggest they consider? Well, which you're saying I hear two questions, Tim one is. How should people get back? That are benefiting from this healing in these plants in these fungi that's one thing. And our organization is very active in supporting mission monocultures. The Northwest Amazon, which is where Iowa and the use of Iowa originated I'm sorry to my Brazilian friends who think that came from ruins home, pol no originally came from the Northwest Amazon In terms of helping indigenous peoples in the Amazon, they're getting hammered by this virus and it's particularly challenging in the sense that it's not like we've got the cure for this and if we just had enough money would give it to him. I wish it was that simple. It's not. We don't have the cure for winner of the for them. We don't have the cure for for us, but there are positive steps the Canon should be taken, and if you look at our website Amazon team dot org, you can see some of the things that we've been doing, which is indigenous Park Rangers who controlled the borders and keep the outsiders out because that's how the disease gets in number two educational materials in the tribal language don't send in a post run in Spanish reports Thank. Okay. Got It. Also the education material has to be aimed at a culturally appropriate way. These are tribal people the same pot in Asia Corona virus you don't eat out of the same. Sometimes it's just sending in so they can make soap from some local plants but not to the degree that they needed. Now, I'm washing my hands twenty times a day as we all should be. So we not only recognized the problem, but we have programs place to deal with it. We've gotten over two tons of supplies medical and sanitary supplies into the hands of the indigenous peoples in the Northwest Amazon. Now on the one hand that's a pretty impressive number on the other hand. It's pretty pathetic compared to the size and scope of the of the problem in the challenge. So we need more help, we need more support to do more of this and partner with other organizations that can do more along the same lines. So we know those a problem we know it's getting worse I've lost to We've lost tribal leaders in the Amazon in the last month a spectacular people that you know there's no replacement for and remember that the way that these diseases strike is first and foremost at the elderly will the elderly or the libraries. Elderly are the ones that have all the knowledge in their heads and secondarily they hit the little ones not necessarily corona virus, but some the other things week through. So you're losing the elderly and using the little ones, which means you're losing library and you're losing the next generation that's a lose lose proposition, and for this people interested, they can also follow Amazon conservation team on twitter at Amazon Team Org L. Link to that in the show notes and you recently. Just, published a response dashboard, which is quite impressive. I'm impressed by the which was built with something called S. Ray. People can check out. At esra es are very very cool and you can see visually how act that is Amazon Conservation team act is working to mitigate the threat posed by cove nineteen to the Amazon rainforest most vulnerable populations. It's very cool. It's very well done and it's a timely tool and it's a timely problem of people have had this in some fashion weighing on their mind or if it just occurred to them that if they are proponent of healing modalities that include plants or things derived from those plans inspired by those plants that this is a good time to toss your hat in the ring and people can certainly find more about what you do at Amazon Team Dot Org. Mark we we could go in a million different directions. Is there anything else that you would like to make sure we mention or.
