Ken Miles' Mustang Shelby GT350R
"Right, so we have all this auction stuff to kind of get to and some of the some of the. Surprises and some of the reductions and Ken Miles Mustang and there was a lambo four hundred that went and we can kinda talk about. Where we think the market is going. Maybe we should give you guys some ideas on some cars. If you want to invest in something I J B well. That's right. You'd be weld. Proud sponsor car cast their pox. He's used by pros and DIY and trusted for fifty years and get J. B. Weld Dot. COM and wherever wherever at home depot all that O'Reilly everywhere jv well. All right so. The in Miles Mustang your prediction with three million mind was a two six five. It blew me out of the water, and even even you at two eight five with the big. Three, eight five Oh. Sorry, yeah, three, three, eight five. Eight five, so, but now broke the record most expensive. Mustang ever the bullet which was recent. Was the most expensive to and yet, but I'm Kinda. Glad, the Ken Miles car beat the Bowling Kind of a made up car cool, but made up car and the other. Has. I don't know just just has some real. Not Movie History, but like actual history history street. Yeah, yeah, no, I agree the. History, it's. It's earned history I. Don't know well. Friend I just like the racing. First things first. A GT, three fifty eight of in an of itself. Sixty I think this car sixty six so. That car in and of itself is two hundred If you just want to stock one then. When you get to the GT, three fifty are yeah, at least before this, you are at five hundred grand, maybe six hundred grand, so that was Kinda the basic, because this is a GT. Three fifty are so yeah. The the base value of this car is about five or six hundred grand before you get into the test mule and the Ken Miles, and all that kind of stuff now. The Bullet Mustang the base price on that car seventeen five. Just get a Mustang. A Green Mustang and. PUT A ad suspension in the rear in a what a call that a torsion bar traction bar NERF BAR THE HELL! Is that stupid? WE LE-, bar in the back that they put on the back of the live. Really Lakewood SORTA traction bar. It's attraction bar and sometimes called a slapper Maybe that could be a little bit different design. Somebody in throw better than I like. You Know Holly Double Pumper on it and stuff like. All you could build that car. That's twenty grand worth a car. So who cares and then was in the movie, which is cool. That was a great chasing, and all that kind of stuff, but the Ken Miles cars, the I are and kind of the test meal and it was nice to see. Pete Brock involved with the digital video and talked about he's listed as one of the drivers for the car. The Mustang. So People Kinda. have. It is to Ken Miles Mustang, but a few other guys drove the car. Brock is is amongst them. Yeah, that's cool and one for ten dough I more than what we thought, but I think. It it earned the right amount of money. You Know I. Don't I don't think. In and look I I think the Ken. Miles car now should bring up. The GT three fifty ours. Yes, right? I, think fifties cool, but three fifty ours being what thirty four something made. You know why why isn't that a million dollar car? Yeah, well I think it is now and I also think. You if you are dry if you bought like the Shelby Museum. I've always said GT. Forties like undervalued cars because the. Ferrari. And some of the Ferrari. LOMAS STUFF P! Four hundred team trying to think of. The five whatever the PS were. This got too many designations, my head, but the point is this. The GTO's were always half the price less than half the price of those cars right and so. That Shelby Museum bought the GT forty that came in third place I think in. In the one two three finish car sold that at Monterey two years ago three years ago. You know they bought that thing for nine seven or or something like that? When you take a Mustang and bump the Mustang to four million bucks, yeah I'm sorry, but now the GT forty just got bumped up fourteen. You know like it got shoved up to. It's GonNa Push. It'll push the. Cobras with good history right it'll. It'll raise up the other just in general. The Mustang fastback. Even the street versions. K Code K Code. Ones think the code ones the HYPO yeah. Those are out and all. That stuff is just going up. Yeah, the the the shelby. Stuff, and I've noticed sixty eight, sixty nine. You know the ones we don't like quite as much. Those are popping up like. The, shelby, maybe it's the movie. Maybe it's the doc you know. Maybe it's the whatever the steeping process or something, but. That stuff is starting to pop up.

"In and talk about their frustrations about so many gatherings still happening in Lakewood and the reason is when when we had the governor on yesterday they did a Facebook live of that the audio was a stream on Facebook live and in the comments and there were many hundreds of them so many people were apparently frustrated that we did not go at Phil Murphy and demand answers about what's being done about all these gatherings in Lakewood and I knew that there was some anger about this I didn't realize the depth of it until afterwards and again the reason we've been asking is because we we know exactly what he would have said he would have said well and that the police were sent out to many of these galleries and they and they broke these up just like anyone who does anybody who breaks the rules will be punished right but people are having this idea that this is a a problem particular to Lakewood and since there's so much going on about that right now and there is an older populations an elderly population there that is more at risk in that area then we will we will give you the floor and let you vent about that talk about that coming up in the fourth in the meantime who else would be good for one of these televised coronavirus concert specials to actually just do it from their living room and what were some of your coolest concert you ever attended what about what about get J. lo and have her do this entire weird half fast thing which is like dancing all over her living room crashing into entertainment units tripping over the coffee table the entertaining new poll right yeah that's right that's right that was recent Melinda in beach would you run New Jersey won a one point five downtime guidelines they're probably take it's really not long we've got a whole lot of phone lines if you don't want to let you go we can let you know if you no I went in the parking lot just I go head looks awesome lady only so you know everybody's frustrated but are definitely my greatest experience with the company right before he passed were you seen I found that Wells Fargo center who opened a little care which I lost go on all right arm chairs think of somebody that could possibly perform would definitely be my opinion the food fighters you do Dave Grohl I guess windows so solo right even the cell opening like Dave Grohl is the nicest guy in rock and roll he's done so much charity work everything and they have so many hats especially where breaking his leg and he still went on to work you know he sat in his chair that is true right you know I only mention sometimes causes all the social distancing so these these acts are performing solo yeah well and then again except for we we don't know how Backstreet boys are going to do it we do have to say I can't let him in the same room I mean that would be so antithetical that would that would that would be a bad message right that would seem like a bad message and they actually had to be six feet apart imagine how far back the camera angle what after the that would look so strange so yeah no great band I'm said it's a great battle in the but I don't know if they would do it thanks for your call deny entrance in your on New Jersey one one point five Hey how are you all right you know what you say I I think I got a good one how about being the old school but I like it I like your idea I do why why because that's my area but there would be great mark right or train brimar is a good pick.

Ruminating on Food
"We start with an interview. Anthony Davis now guest today on the sustainable futures report you'll the CEO of big bomb which is a not for profit organization which is being trading for some twenty years. As I understand that your role is to encourage healthy eating and sustainable agriculture correct. So how do you do that? Well we when I first set up. I'm a fifth generation farmer and set up the side. Because we were growing onions in Norfolk at them. Every time we went to sell them we could get about one hundred pounds a tonne and two days later. We'd see the onions on the TESCO shelved for about eight hundred pounds a tonne Food supply chain has is giving as Dale and consumes about Dale because If anyone turned out femme Australians we'd be happy to sell them off the process signet so the big bomb is all about reconnecting. People buy that through came from at helping to sell directing consumers by right and we're hoping that process that people would find us about three day on eight health late because they buy fresh local food. You've been doing quantitative what with schools leave. That's right we say that To change people to cooking and buying food we really need to act on the influences and we say the main influences as children because if you can get children eighteen lane that parents wanting healthy fade away. It'll encourage parents to eat better food as well. So what you're doing with the children in the schools well we ran a project in Leicester where we went in every week to help the kid. Some grow seats In plant pulse and that we built some raise bets implanted fruit trees and these children lentil about growing food and when it was ready they were really enthused to taste it and Actually Cook with it and we had this added incentives that they could then take. Will they'd grown to the local shop and the local shop and sell it for them and says cool crop for the shop and it was really brilliant way of introducing children about food and growing only plans to roll it out further into other schools across the country. We absolutely love to because We Got Twenty six thousand schools in this country and we found out that fourteen thousand of them will go to veg. Patch and a m Or Garden as would actually quite easy the mold getting both but unfortunately it's not on the curriculum and at the end of the year with the School Esta. We went to the teacher. Teaching nights as the VEGGIE PATCH. We managed to get a lot of them. Academic Subjects Fetch. So are you going to do it? And she said On anything what's on the creation and unfortunately waving running petition for a long time about getting school food growing grant and cookie on the curriculum and The the government with allstate only measure scope foments on a level massive English and. That's a big mistake. So we all lobbying and we'd love to do more but we're restricted by government mind. That's a dead end for the moment. Unfortunately them while there is a new food and farming policy coming out at the moment and being worked on and we hope that with the evidence week with another number of other organizations that it will change and the government will say the opportunity. Because if you can if you can change able to eat healthy food I think at the moment. Twenty percent of energy as spend is on food related disease so we can get paid eighteen healthy food and if we get infants at school eating healthy food we could see some massive savings Indiana chess. I just told me that again. Twenty percent direction of. Nhs expenditure is on food related disease. Yeah and I think ten percent diabetes and the rest is Be St in Hop. Z's and Allah food related problems. So Yeah Yeah. That's a lot can be done. And I think the time is ripe with Brexit and with people about mole and with the The massive amounts of food aid programs on TV like Brexit. To this will start thinking about whether food comes from and We have kind of news of out sanctions and import duties on some products. Hopefully things like Kim American. None cheap food chlorinated chicken and processed pool come from low animal welfare factories in America said that they will be on. The tariffs kept type thing. Yeah okay Ob some GT but Mr Trump doesn't want much self-aware going to have to look into domestic food production. We're GONNA have to and hopefully when people see this. Trait will happening with cheat American food. They'll stop thinking about will feed they should buy and when they to seek market. They'll think about whether three comes from clear. Labelling which will be really good at. But the I need Kinda Is someone who is produced locally. And he's a he's reputations in state which is where all Lakewood food map comes in. Not Yes I was gonNA come onto that single food map. Tell us about not because it seems to be a cover the whole country. I looked at my lug layer. Your canoe got five or six produces listed so tell me more about it well. It's constantly evolving constantly. Updating map that Tim at eight and a half thousand local food outlets on it and every outlet has a username password to add pictures video description and even build themselves online shop if they want to do now is we share all matt with many websites we can so we'd love Yorkshire Websites to have on that and actually be adding to it and the idea. Is that when you have it? Looks like it's you'll 's and the mole websites have the map the mold as who will not benefit because they can update page updates. Don't allow the websites so I'm to help that process we becoming am a co-op community benefit society. We're sending a message that everyone can deposits and if its success. We share in the SUCCESS FOR ALL RANDOM. A lot of these companies that Backed by venture capitalists Orem investors. Who saw cancel the money?

"A ceremony in this year. Isn't this cool seventy soldiers with Bronco troop one fourteen? The cavalry regimen out of JBL 'em. They marched four miles today to drop off over a ton of food to the Lakewood police department, you can honor the fallen officers to drop it off food donations today across the street from the Lakewood police department, and they would love to see you detective, Ed Troyer, the PEO and also the Pierce county sheriff's department. He joins us right now. Ed, so good to have you. What are you thinking about today? Well, probably like everybody stopped me on the streets today in last night. And started hearing the news, I can't believe it's been nine years and how fast time has flown. And as we look at the kids of how much they've grown up in some gotten married and gone on to school and continued on with their lives. It just seems like the other day I was out that coffee shop when the whole thing occurred on the thanksgiving weekend. And that was the first time I ever talked to you guys met your audience, and we've all been friends ever since Ed how do we continue to get our arms around officers as Don said life happens you get busy. I've been busy lately in your mind goes to other places, but my heart's in the right place. How how can we do that? When we see a man or woman in uniform well in our job is just to keep on our guys doing their job disliked, all four them. What if it would have been somebody else or can't or Timothy or anybody else that happened to go down during that one month period and? I think what everybody has realized that it is nine years later in a lot of promises were made to stay in touch with the families and the kids and support them and they've all been kept. I know there an issue with the flag or two, and there's some confusion on that. But that's all been remedy. That's just very small and minor in the schema poll things as how much our officers have stayed in touch with the families. And when Kent Mandel daughter got married, he wasn't there to dance with ourselves whole squad was so I mean, you look at things like that. Then you look at the food drive. That's still going nine years later sharp Paul pass stars on his way out there. Now, I'll be out there later and seeing these things continue to go and not fall off the fact that you guys are talking about it today in the public listening, and it's been nine years. So I think we all are pretty engaged and involved in. You're right. We all still have lives and all our guys still got to go out and risk being shot every day. And we've had more officers go down since then and they just keep on keep on moving. Keep on getting it done. It was so palpable. As as Don talked about in that piece where the blue lights were everywhere. And there was just a feeling in the community. And that can't last forever how but. What makes a difference for you? Right. Like, if I if I saw you in the coffee shop, and we didn't know each other. If I just said, thanks for your service, or if I bought you a Cup of coffee, right? Is that enough? Oh, that's just any acknowledgment. Like that's happened. All day long today, where I'd gone places and people have all said, man, I can't believe it's been as long as it is. You know, I I hear you on Ron and Don I listened to that show. All the time. I see you here. I see your guys here when I'm talk to guys or tell him gas and the gas stations. So every little bit of out is acknowledging those guys in the sacrifice that they've made. And yeah, we we enjoy it. We like it. And we're glad people remember, and you know, we know we're still at work, and we're going to be back to work tomorrow. And and the next day, and there could be another tragedy like this around the corner. And there probably will be in our line of work as we look at how often they happen in the state and across the nation. So our sheriff Paul pow stars a big advocate of following officers and officer death across countries become sort of an expert at it. And it it's really hard to recruit police officers now because it seems like the public is not on your side. But that's just that's just a small number in the media. When you go out and talk with real people in the real community, we rarely get that we have more support than what appears to be attend the national mindset because of the media, but when we're out in the streets more working we're going in stores, and we're doing our job. Our guys are thanked every day. Kevin del. He was one of yours. What was he like, what do you? Remember about him nine years. Oh, great guy got along with everybody. He was like McCartney. He liked to go to the gym and stay in touch with people. He worked out in a residency area and loved it was a good dad. Good husband, just the type of guy that you want their when something went wrong to help you didn't shy away from a gunfight. And he didn't hide run the other way and doubtless part of what ended up being the incident dot got him shot while he was helping another deputy who had been shot. So you know, there's a couple of times where there's just a couple of guys out there, and they know their backups a long ways away. So the two of them or one of them have to take care of businesses best as they can. And that's the type of guy was and that's the type of guy you want working with you doing if you're out there, and you need help. That's the type of guy you want to be the next guy to show up. Yeah. And I don't let us in their name. So I won't at twenty ninth in Yasser when Tim Brennan was sitting there with Brit Sweeney. He was training her. He's a train officer embrace. Just joined SPD, and he was shot as he was training her by a complete coward. And then as Ronnie Tina, Greg and Mark we're getting ready for their day at the coffee shop another complete coward walked in there and took their lives. And we know that Greg put up the of the fight what happened with Kent Mundell. That was a domestic violence issue, wasn't it. And he was actually going to do a gentleman of favor and give him a ride. And then that guy turns around walks upstairs and grabs a gun is that right? You're pretty much right? That was a brother on brother argument that was a domestic. And nobody is going to be arrested and their solution was to give a guy right out of there and the guy agreed to it. And he said can I get my bag? He walked over to the stairs and grabbed his bag and what we fully expected was him to take on Terry. Right. He wasn't mad. There was no fighting just out of the situation and steady pull a gun out and yelp and fired. And he struck two of our deputies and. One of them shot back and killed him. And then died a few days later from his wounds up at Harborview after a long vigil and that was right over the top of the holiday season as well. For you. Go to shows all situations are dangerous they're dynamic. They're never the same. No matter how much people trained forum there dictated by the people behavior when you show up into it's never going to be the same thing. Twice for you. Go. We're gonna end this on a good note. You can all these officers today by dropping off food donations talk about that a little bit about what's going on across the street. And then go back to doing our jobs and make sure that this continues on because of the bottom line is so much food comes in so many resources come in through this event in their memory that feed a lot of people and the food banks get a lot of food out of it.
