Of course, as you might have noticed when I was outlining the system, this doesn't work super well for people who don't have a bishop. While many, if not most bishops will offer assistance to people, even if they're not more not all of them do. It's ultimately at the discretion of the bishop whether you can have access to that money solely. And it's not like there's some appeals process you could turn to anyway. The article has stories of people who had to get baptized to access aid, but Mormons who were denied it because they hadn't been tithing enough leading up to this shit. Women who were denied aid because they got pregnant out of wedlock and of course stories of people being turned down because they were gay. And that's the system that Christians want. Christians are fine helping the poor as long as the poor acknowledge their inferiority. They can have the help as long as somebody gets to sit and arbitrary judgment of them. And it's worth emphasizing here how many people who need 8 or single mothers and contrast that with the fact that 100% of the bishops making these decisions are men. They're gonna have food and clothing and healthcare and heat, but they better never act like they're a title to it. This week's lead story is about them trying to kill us with COVID using religious exemptions again. Specifically, it's about a lady getting a quickie ordination and immediately passing out over a 150 religious exemptions to mask mandates. Fuck your face. It's like the murder version of getting ordained so you can do your buddy's wedding. Yep. She got our dang so she could do her friends and family's funerals, I guess. Yeah, exactly. Okay, I think blue states and blue localities need to start leaning in all the way on this thing. If you want a religious exemption to the vaccine in like California or New York, I think you have to wear a plague mask with the giant beak. There you go. All black leather, something like that. If they think we're persecuting them anyway, we might as well get some enjoyment out of it. And actually persecute them, right? At least get to persecute. Yeah. So I hate to keep harping on the existential threat to our lives and prosperity. But this story is such a perfect exemplar of exactly the kind of shit we've been talking about that I had to arm you with. An Ohio man that noticed a loophole in the school districts mask mandate specifically, it's said that if a student submitted paperwork signed by a religious official, they didn't have to wear a mask. No. As it turns out, there's literally no known religion on earth that ever said anything about that at all prior to 2020. Yeah, if there was a religion that knew about germs, it would be called the right one. Yep. Yeah. And yet, the school district felt compelled to add that line. So first and grant got herself ordained by the universal life church, which is the religious equivalent of a diploma mill. Seriously, they've ordained hats before four states specifically have rules saying their ordinations don't count for fucking weddings. It's easy. It's one of like 9 churches in America, the IRS is iffy about giving a tax exempt status to. And yet it was good enough for medical exemptions. Okay, okay, no joke a few years ago when I put out my all churches or bad challenge. DMT MTM, someone offered this one as an example of a good church. So one more notch in the bed post, everybody we found it. Yeah. And they're literally the least churchy of any church according to the U.S. government. And there's still a giant problem. Yeah, also competing for most terrifying detail is the fact that the district went on to accept all 169 of those even though you've got to imagine that literally every single person with a mask exemption was getting it from her. And apparently, that wasn't the only school district she was signing exemptions for. Okay, I want to put this carefully. I'm not saying it would be funny if she and her family got COVID and died. I am saying it would be fitting. It would be fitting. I don't know. Let's think about the funny thing. Isn't it? Okay, well, if she died from like a piano or anvil situation, that's definitely funny. That is funny. Okay. All of it. All right. If she had COVID while dying from a piano situation, that would be both fitting. She beats COVID and she walks out and then the piano there you go. Okay, okay, that's pretty funny. All right, so when questioned about the ruse about how she determined if they had a genuine religious objection to the mandate, grant defended her murderous bullshit thusly, quote, it's not my job to prove or really ask, and it's not my business what their religion necessarily is. I'm a constitutional Christian. What? I think the constitution is there for a reason. God created our bodies in a perfect way. That is in the constitution. His church has less than 500 employees, so he's not obligated to repay the loan as long as he used it for staffing. And my guess is based on nothing but the shiny shiny evil radiating from osteen's teeth, that's not what happened. This is a dude who lives in a $10 million mansion who publicly bragged to his congregation about buying a $300,000 Ferrari. I think he saw the money when all hungry hungry hippos on it. And repaying this loan is the church cleaning up his mess. Well, right? Because thanks to our fucked up legal system, those $4.4 million were the only dollars he was accountable for in any fucking way. Yeah, they were already looting the public coffers so much already. The PPP loans is just a new version of wasting money on magical nothing. Quick reminder, we give religion about $85 billion a year as a tax subsidy for the magical nothing they do. Just in the U.S., that's just the U.S.. But don't worry everybody, that very probable reason for repayment hasn't stopped Lakewood church from telling everyone who will listen that they're just given the money back like at some fantastic act of charity. In fact, my wife came and got me from the restroom area where I was getting dressed. And she said, My God, a plane went into the twin towers in New York. It's somewhat you know, And this was, you know, 6 30 in the morning or something like that West Coast time. We were living, you know, out here in the West, obviously, so I'm like, so I put the TV on and you're seeing it and you're shocked. And then just moments later, you see the other plane going through the twin tower, the other one, and I knew and I told my wife I said This was a declaration of war that that wasn't an accident. And she said What? And I said there was, you know, And obviously the chaos ensued from there, and, sadly, we lost a tremendous amount of lives and Not only innocent citizens of every walk of life, every color every race, every sexual persuasion, every political persuasion. Every religious belief system just doesn't matter. Innocent people died. Lot of first responders died. You know, police officers, etcetera. So it was. It was a tough time and tough time. That also led me to give my life to Christ. Just so you know, because a lot of people don't know my story is not a Christian show, not a Bible show. That's okay. I'm going to still give you the truth and my testimony. You know, um it shocked me to the core 9 11. It shocked me to the core that We were that vulnerable and seeing people. Make a decision to jump from the building. Versus being burned to death. Still hunts me today as it hunts many of you today. As it haunts the victims, families. Will always haunt them. So It shocked me and and, you know, hit me to the core about life and what was important, and my life was so much different than on September 11 2000 and one You know, very different in terms of how I behaved and how you know I was out there like a fool. So just a few days later. On September 14th. I gave my life to Jesus Christ. And one of the fundamental things was when I heard George W. Bush speaking at the chapel, and I heard Franklin Graham, you know, speaking and then I was exposed and introduced Goldstein. I know a lot of people don't like Joel and I get it and I don't care if you do or you don't. But Joel Goldstein was the guy that I needed at that time to turn a very hard hearted man like myself around and and I think many people have similar stories about Joel Stein in that regard, met Joel handful of times going out to Lakewood Church with the family. So you know, with the tragedy that came out of 9 11 for me personally from my family, we got saved and we found the Lord and been serving him since. 'cause i keep promised everybody like a twenty percent return which that's pretty high like for anybody. Anything really yeah. So yeah yeah and you know. My thought is like these poor people like i think there was a lady that had and i'm sure there's a bunch more out there victims that had to like claim bankruptcy basically for this like they lost their entire life savings that they work for. Probably some shitty job for you know thirty or forty years and they basically lost everything they made so they basically can't ever retire now because of this asshole. That's pretty shitty and it's like how can you like wake up every morning and be like well. I'm gonna go and preach the word of god to all these people and nice steal all their money. Yeah like with my fake investments. That you know it's like he made up a bunch of paperwork. I mean the victims even said they would send him pictures of like the the properties. I've had crap like that happened to me too in my own life. You know where it's like you hire someone to do something in there like. Yeah this is my work like these pictures you know. It could just be so convincing in the new. Find out that. They're like to not what they say that they are so. It really sucks. When you get swindled bike that i think so the the guy eddie long he came out and apologize because one of the ladies went to him and said hey. What are you going to do about this. And he was like. I can't do anything. I don't have any money at long. And i feel like he's a little bit to blame to. I'm surprised it didn't get more in trouble. But i guess there's no legal reason but i would. She left that church because she was basically like this. Is this kind of crap. Why did you bring this person here. Did you know him. Did you know who's going to do this. Yeah they just blindly trusted him. And that's their fault and so those churchgoers trust eddie. Long angel- hosting they trust them and they go and listen to him once a week in hours and they're probably friends outside of you know a lot of them hang out together and stuff. I don't know. But i just think they should have been held accountable a little bit more. Yeah because they're they're really brought them in in the first place and they should have vetted them they should. They should have looked at all the paperwork because the paperwork was just looked at me like it was just him printing out like newsletter and typing things up himself. It wasn't like official stocks paperwork or anything like that it looked kind of unofficial to me but official enough to make it look real. I guess they said some of it was real. They said some of the investments were actually investments. It didn't make twenty percent but they were right. Yeah just enough. Apparently.
