Fresh update on "laker" discussed on Power 106 Programming

"Now getting the sport from Teddy Warren, the most UN athletic person in the county off Los Angeles and playing in bad skin. Oh, well, kind of Because the NBA is back baby. The Lakers and the Clippers will begin training camps today Crazy to think that the Lakers have less than two months to enjoy being champions, while the Clippers and other teams that didn't win have plenty of time to rest and recover, But whatever what a champion, so we'll take that teams have very little time to get adjusted to the new rosters as the first preseason games for each team. Begin December 11. That's right around the corner. On that day, the Lakers and Clippers face off against each other, but chance to keep the beef going. As for Anthony Davis, well, 80 is expected to sign his new contract with the Lakers in the next 48 hours. 80 this year breath Let's stop playing inside. We need you in camp so we can find two of this thing and run it back. Yes, I'm guaranteeing another Lakers championship. Why? Because I'm committed, I might tell you or the forerunner awful Edition is covered in Lakers here, baby, The Lakers will be of you see? Be cruising my forerunner. Say What's up, baby? Michael Flynn: Trump pardons ex-national security adviser

"Former. Us national security adviser. Michael flynn who was convicted during the justice department inquiry into alleged russian interference in the two thousand sixteen election has been pardoned by president. Donald trump trump called his own action. A great honor whilst house speaker. Nancy pelosi called it an act of grave corruption and abrazen brazen abuse of power. Well which is it. And what kind of precedent does it set. Let's get the opinion of scott lucas professor of us. Politics at the university of birmingham scott. Good morning to you. Good morning do remind us of flynn's short-lived term. I think it was just three weeks in the white house. Well while it was only three weeks in the white house there was an import run up to the while he was on the trump campaign in two thousand sixteen. Because michael. Flynn lied to the fbi on two occasions and pleaded implied pleaded guilty to lying to the fbi about a number of conversations. He had with the russian ambassador. Sergei kislyak and december two thousand sixteen. Why were those conversations important because they were about an incoming trump administration lifting sanctions on russia. That had just been imposed by president. Barack obama over moscow's interference in the two thousand sixteen election and interference which of course favoured donald trump. So the was that that michael flynn on behalf of the trump campaign or trump transition was trading immediate political favors in exchange for russia's help The initially the trump administration tried to keep planning office in january february two thousand and seventeen but he had to be sacrificed trump's trying to create a firewall to prevent further investigation. That investigation didn't stop of course accommodated in the miller report which found that there was cooperation between the trump folks and the russians but the right wing insisted and kept pressing trump. You must pardon. Michael flynn he became like this icon for the misinformation that this was all a deep state plot to overthrow the president and we do at some point. That trump would probably pardon fled. It just so happens to come. Easy as trump is trying to cling onto the white house after losing the election in november. We'll see what kind of precedent does this set. I mean do you think that we'll see trump do similar in this. Lame duck period. Oh yeah i think there will be more. And i think that's for a couple of reasons but first let me remind you. That is not just that michael. Flynn actually lied to the fbi about the russia case. It's also that michael flood may have faced prosecution over being an unregistered agent for a foreign power. Taking hundreds of thousands of dollars shrunk turkey and russia for his work while he was on the trump campaign to the extent of making on voice of the turkish government. About extraditing a cleric who is considered an opponent of president aired on And that michael. Flynn was making more money of trying to get nuclear power plants for saudi arabia while he was on the trump campaign and the trump administration In other words trump is willing to give flint a pass for that for two reasons. One he wants to bury the trump russia a fair and trump still faces possible charges over obstruction of justice over trump russia. And secondly michael. Flynn could testify against donald trump in a number of proceedings that are ongoing at state and federal level. Trump wants to cut off that possibility. But you know what michael not. The only person who could testify against donald trump avoid that possibility and of course after trump's term ends in january. He is as you say likely to face. Many legal challenges is there any way he can preemptively. Pardon himself no. We don't think so. I mean no president has tried to pardon himself so we're on noodle legal ground but mostly glands say no that power can't be used to get yourself off the hook what donald trump could do however days before january twentieth. Joe biden takes office resign. Let mike pence become president mike pence pardons donald trump. That is an extraordinary scenario to to think of if it didn't happen in the interest of a united america do you think joe biden might pardon trump if he is convicted. I don't think biden will pardon trump because the scale of the abuse of power by trump as well as the possible crimes is is great probably greater than that of richard nixon in the nineteen seventies. But i what. I do think joe biden will do as is that he will not possibly. He will not push the justice department To do federal investigations in other words. Trump is in sort of a limbo but of lambeau at the federal level. However what joe biden can't do is issue commands to the new york state prosecutors who were compiling a series of cases against what would then be the former president and i mean. Do you seriously think that we could be looking at a feature where donald trump is behind bars. Look georgina there are many things that have happened. We could not visit for years. So i i wouldn't rule anything out at this point. I think donald trump's gonna go kicking and screaming and he as we've seen with his dispute of the election results. His attorneys will drive this out as long as possible. So trump might avoid prison but to avoid prosecution. Now i think even the donald can't get away with that scott lakers. Thanks very much

Montrezl Harrell: Lakers wanted me more than Clippers did

"With the media yesterday for the first time since. Leaving for the leaving clippers for the lakers. The reigning sixth man of the year joining the lakers was a business decision when he was asked. If the clippers wanted him back he replied asli. It seemed that way. Does it shannon. Does this tell you. I think the biggest thing is that maybe The clippers treads didn't feel like the clippers made him a priority. He's like. I'm the sixth man of the year. And here we are a couple of days into it. You would like to think they probably had been having conversations with rich paul at some point in time and says okay. Yes we want to. We want to bring him back. This what we're looking look. This is what we're looking the rain that we're looking to pay. What are you. What are you looking for Maybe trades personality. Get when you come up. Like trees transplanting. I don't even know if he was drafted. But when you come up like he did scrapping and trying to fight. Play hard practice hard every single game. You bring hawaiian. Paul george in there and he thought their practice on the court in those guys are sitting on the sideline or those guys are missing game. That's gonna rub him the wrong way. It looks to me from the outside. Of like i said i don't know it looks like from the outside looking in skip. That's not gonna change and paul george. You the superstars moving forward. They're probably gonna take practices. Probably gonna take gave up and it was eager to move. Let tread go be a free agency as opposed to have that conflict in running back. So that's what it looks like meets get. I could be totally off base with this but it seems to me because we heard rumbling either. They upset that guy's missing with practicing when they wanted to guys playing when they wanted to and that rav some in the locker room. If i had to guess it would probably be. That would be rubbed the wrong way themselves. But this is a good deal for trae of you look at it trays serge. Ibaka and triple double t. Basically got the same deal. The mid level exception with a second year option with us a team or player option. That's what they got shooters. Got the money bretons. Look what he got. A boat on from sacramento. He signed that big offer sheet. Big skip really aig got didn't get the money because they're not shooting putting a premium on shooting the threes and scope. I like i like the lakers. Getting trans because i believe they're getting a guy. That's extremely motivated. He didn't play his best basketball win. The season resume. Let's not sugarcoat. He didn't play once he got to the bubble and maybe his grandmother. He had a lot on his mind. He didn't come back with the same ferocity that he had. We live because up until that point skip. He was a monster in when he came back. He wasn't bad but it didn't feel like in to him because it all it matters to him. He didn't feel like the clippers prioritize pill or they didn't send the they didn't give him an indication that they wanted him back as much as he thought he should have been wanted back he says okay. I'll make a business decision They got this over there. I won't like you like you say rondo. He wasn't going to have to move. You gotta move where he might have to have won the platinum the other than the go so he might you know going down there to the marina which neither the apply anything close by

"Joining us. Right now is the architect of the twenty twenty world champion. Los angeles lakers general manager. Rob pelinka rob. Thanks for coming on. We appreciate a man to beyond guys. Good to hear your voices rob great to have you back in california and let me start there. We haven't talked to you since the lakers won the title and actually went back and look this up today. You were hired on march seventh twenty seventeen and we've had john lott before so we know you're a dreamer rob you dream big. I dream big. I think it's a really healthy thing to dream big but in your wildest dreams did you think within three years you could lead the lakers back to the top. Absolutely not. it's interesting. I told this story before and it. It's one that i cling to but i remember when When i when. I got the job. Of course my my i sort of dinner and drinks was was with my best friend. That's who you're going to do to celebrate a new job so so you know. Kobe and i went out for dinner and drinks in newport and he said at the table he said you know. I've i've twenty years working with you partnering with you. I i know your approach. I i know how you think detailed you are and you know and He said i'm looking at the roster. Yeah you said that you're inheriting some tough contracts and not a lot of cafes. He said i'll give you about three years and you'll have the lakers compete for a championship. And i said i was like dude. I love your optimism. But but no shot this is gonna take. This is going to take longer than that. So i think he He saw it before. I did it. It's really a testament to you. Know the the work of people here not me It's the we have an incredible basketball operation. Staff that is deep and thoughtful and hardworking and It's easy as a gm to get or take credit. But you know i. It's really the staff of people here and Lebron i think one time referred to us as beautiful wonderful people or something to that effect and that's really what it is. And i i think our players Especially in the bubble just really experienced that support That are front office and our staff gives to them to put him in a position to be the best they can and that was so necessary. One hundred day medical bubble we i. I knew the team that was the most together and the players that felt most supported by the front office and the coaching staff would have a huge chance to get to the end. And i think that's how we saw play out

I think we treat them differently. "Matt for our for our listeners and our viewers. Could you tell our audience who hasn't heard of you. That'd be surprised but who maybe doesn't know your background how you got into sports. What you're working on today. Some of the things. I talked about maybe Would love to get sort of the man. Hillman story yeah absolutely. I'll spare you too much. But i I launched a full service marketing agency. That was completely outside of these sports. Space called cut and so Coming up on three years ago now so is in january. Two thousand eighteen with two partners. The three of us sort of just felt like we really unique But also diverse skill sets between Done a ton of work in sports and entertainment space. My two partners were rebound florida at a tech startup that became sort of a case. Study for consumer marketing. It was called jack. Blew up on college campuses. They were the minds behind a lot of that. And so the three of us just kind of linked up and realized that we wanted to to build something together and we had all been doing some consulting on the side and realized that an agency model was really really. Good way for us to be able to you. Know it's not like one. Plus one plus one equals. You know nine right. It's not three so We put our heads together and started to build this business. You know it's a service based business Work with companies big and small and help them help them reach a younger More culturally aware demographic that businesses called cut and so again started it almost three years ago and you know where gaming sort of came into the picture is through our work cut and so will one gaming as as ubiquitous at this point right at it is. It is so far transcended. It's it's it's individual industry in seeping into everything that we know and so If you do anything in the world of sports entertainment or music or it's really hard to gaming wasn't always like that but We were doing a lot of work with with athletes Who were really really passionate. Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson, injured in workout with other NBA players, will undergo MRI on Thursday

"Be concerned. I play all those things combined. This far as i know he's playing basketball and I don't know who with i think is playing basketball pie. Like a lot of these guys are trying to get ready for ready for the season. Clay of course missed all of last year after the aclu injury. He suffered in the finals that year. Before here are tim. Legler and adrian watson hausky getting up with us earlier today guys. Thanks whoa do. What can you tell us. What do we know about this injury. Greenie lower lower right leg. There's certainly a significant amount of concern among the warriors talked to his agent greg lawrence last night. And they're going to have that imaging this morning a west coast time you'll see some of the warrior personnel front office medical staff coming down to be there his agent there and they're going to get a better sense of the severity of the injury. The torn acl injury was on his left is left knee that causing the last season. This is a right leg injury so it's not the same leg that's not necessarily any indication of how severe it may or may not be but just to sort of by for those award following it last night. The vibe i was clearly getting from you and others covering the story. Was that the level of concern that this is. Something very serious is significant. We don't wanna read too much into it. But am i getting that part of it right. Yeah there's there's a significant level of concern but it could be could it be At best strength half at worst is it in the achilles area and so that's why they'll get in there today they'll do the imaging and they'll find out for sure right so tim lego. Let's let's sort of look at this from a bigger picture basketball perspective if klay to missed significant time here this is a long term injury and again we can all hope that it isn't but what would that mean for the warriors championship window. Well my direct answer to that question would be. I think it's still open greenie. I think. Look i'm less concerned about klay thompson potentially missing another years in terms of just guys getting a little bit older steph and draymond both in their early thirties. I'm not as concerned about that. More concerned about what is going to be like coming back from now. Potentially another dreaded basketball injury. That's what you're concerned about and now on each leg so let's see what klay thompson looks like. You know a year from now. That's how john again. We're still waiting to hear the results of that. I still think the windows opening the main reason because we look around the nba. There is only one team right now. That definitively you can say it. Looks like they're put together to win the title. And that's the lakers about virtually every other team in the nba. So this means the warriors getting back together is delayed a little bit longer so be it. I

NBA sets 2-part schedule release, play-in tourney

"Starts. Hopefully, fingers crossed December 22nd. Are you surprised that they decided to start then? Rather than like, mid January, and what will this season It will be shortened What 70 games issues something like that. What should we expect as fans? What is the NBA going to look like this year was surprised. I was more surprised. At the initial hopes for a early December around 12 1. What we initially heard. That was what surprised me pushing it from what sounded like Martin Luther King Jr Day Opportunity Number 20 seconds. Then it really surprised me because They started to see any hope for normal. Seeing the spring is probably gone, so we need to start this assumes possible so we can still end on close to a normal schedule because As much as you and I talked about this before the bubble is much as basketball fans. That, you know, Maybe this allows them to change the schedule going forward, and the December started pushing it back and season in August. Now be great. Sure. On paper. It's great, but We saw in terms of ratings. What that did where the summer people that the eyeballs just aren't there? You're still going up against college football in the NFL? It's less than ideal, so they want to get back. On track with that schedule, and the only way to do that was to bump up the start into December again and basically sacrifice a portion of this season heats the window open for the Olympics, though. I still number one in the Olympics even happened. I think you would be hard pressed to find the players that are gonna want to go from the bubble into limited offseason into a new season into the Olympics and then into an MBA season. All at once. I just think that fans should be prepared for a very weird season that way, wondered if last season and the finishing the bubble. If that would be the asterisk season, it feels like that will be this season that 72 games in the stand that they're doing it and with an all Star break, but no all Star game keep in mind too. The only way to pull this off is basically clean every other day, and you know you could do that in the bubble because you're just walking to a bus. It's going to include travel here and the other interesting part, which they just released just before you and I talked here, Woz. We're not gonna know the schedule they're releasing into halves. We're not going to know the schedule until about a week before the season starts. Really? I didn't know that. Yeah. Yeah, they're going to release the schedule. The week of December 11th through the 19th in that time frame, so There's gonna be a lot of moving parts here and you know you've already seen some players pushed back, and certainly the Lakers and heat aren't too thrilled about starting the season just a couple of months later. I think that's only gonna lead to more load management and, you know, maybe guys like LeBron James. They're going to play on Christmas Day and the nationally televised games, But it could be a case where you see superstar players like LeBron and Company. Maybe they missed for the first five games, and they're only playing a nationally televised games. Travel. It's still going to be very difficult to navigate, and it's gonna be interesting to see how they pull off that portion of the scheduling because they're still doing Essentially standard schedule where their plane Each conference will play each other, which also kind of surprised me that you want to try to adapt with baseball Good and keep it more regional right on. And plus, I mean, we just don't know, like the other thing I would caution is Be prepared to see games without your favorite players. Because to think that what the NBA went through the bubble, it's not gonna happen again that they are now going to deal with these issues. So you're going to see some of your favorite players test positive in this game, so It's going to be a very different experience from what we saw in the bubble, and I would just caution fans be prepared for a weird season.

Phoenix Suns complete trade to acquire Chris Paul from Oklahoma City Thunder

"Right welcome back. Look who's here perk with us Stephen i'm going to start with you on this one. If the nets do get hardened do they need to win the title. This season having this type of talent downright without question. And i'm gonna tell you why because the pressure is going to be immense first of all your k. d. Obviously everybody's looking at you comparing you to lebron and stuff like that Lebron goes and he assembles a big three. Then ultimately you want up to him and went to golden state and gave the ultimate big three. Lebron sits up de a d. is now in. La so you go to brooklyn you got kyri and then you get a james heart so the pressure will be immense on him. This guy read because of all the things that max has titillated throughout the years and to a lesser degree kendrick perkins when you talk about the lack of leadership there kyri urban may have shown from time to time. He elected to leave cleveland. The go to boston. The situation in boston didn't work out. He goes to brooklyn the only place. Twenty games helped was an issue and all of that stuff plus. He made some headlines. That's an issue. And then you've got james hearted remember. James harden didn't want the white how houston Ultimately he didn't want chris paul in houston and then obviously even though again and kendrick perkins knows this far better than me because he has those relationships with these guys. In particular russell westbrook russell westbrook made sure to reiterate to me. Listen his relationship. With james harden is as is big tom their brothers and they're gonna always be brothers. We did not talk about basketball. Just a relationship that he has with james harden which also articulated over social media. I by the way his relationship with james harden they are brothers and they are tight but that doesn't mean they want to play together so as a result of that rests with westbrook is planning on moving on as a result of him. Moving on james harden is moving on. And so there's going to be some pressure to bear because with all of this money that harden and k. d. and career getting paid along with the expectations. Let's bring in the last element you in brooklyn. New york utah. You're even denver. You're in the mecca the media capital. Now obviously the knicks are in new york city madison square. Got it but we should all be allergic to mentioning championship protection at a new york. Nixon brett at least at this moment atop the faith man leon roads and we'll worldwide west but the bottom line is is blasphemous sacrilegious to talk championships. And and the knicks but brooklyn fall weighs less than ten miles is less than ten miles away. It's still a part of brooklyn one of the five boroughs and there is going to be are meant pressure on manse. If the three of them larry know why go give it their. Kp might be right about this guy at five in milwaukee we might see silly. Do some things we know. Lebron is at whatever but if those three assemble no one is going to be interested in any stupendous as to why they did not win after three guys. You damn right. They need to win the chip because the world the world will be watching. First of all brooklyn is even thirstier for a championship. And i think is a bigger deal than a team winning in manhattan in the sense that brooklyn hasn't had a championship in sixty five years. Since the dodgers left brooklyn in fifty seven but they want and fifty five to go to air like that. But the knicks. You're right it's been almost forty eight years for the knicks but brooklyn is the nets or the team in new york. The knicks don't even exist compared to the nets right now and let me say this. There is immense pressure for them. To win you're right stephen while they're together i'm here saying it doesn't need to be in the first year for example if hardened goes to brooklyn and they lose in the finals and a tough series to the lakers. A team like that. It's all right but they have to win while they're together. Even this year's lakers team. I didn't pick them because it's hard to just throw a team together with guys have been played together. Get all the complimentary pieces right. Get it all right to go all the way. We saw that with lebron and his return to. Cleveland went to a game six of course they had injuries on that team. But that's part of it is coming off the catastrophic injury and we saw it again a result before that when lebron showed up miami with the big three it some it takes some times a year to get it right with guys playing together so i would say while there's enormous pressure for them to win while they're together because k. d. if he's most of themselves even is an mvp caliber player so is hardened and kyri may not be an mvp but he's more than just an all star he's all star plus you have to. Mvp caliber players an all star. And then some you're supposed to win a championship to gather. I don't think it has to be in the first year. And i wouldn't say that it's the kind of pressure for example when katie went to golden state. It's like there was more downside. Like guys you have to win it. If you don't win a championship that sorry i wouldn't. I don't think people will be looking at this team like that. Sorry if you don't wanna chip you gotta get outta the east

"Things are hot in phoenix and they have to be hot on a sports front because it was ninety two degrees again today. The latest. That has ever been this hot and phoenix somewhere. I think we're supposed to hit like ninety five tomorrow. So it is hot and happening and phoenix both on the sports front and just the warm weather front that being said sons. You're already pretty excited about the suns to begin with and now he got chris. Paul come to town. Well you know. Sons are in the midst of an eight game win. Streak you know other bubble team could say that. No other bubble team did that well and miss the playoffs but You know sons. I got a little bit of bonus basketball after the covid break they you know they got the bubble in orlando. Stick around for the playoffs. So they've had a little bit of a longer. Offseason i th. I'm sure that they're ready to go. And you put chris paul on the suns. You put the sons against the lakers on christmas day. you know. it's it's got some banana boat reunion on. I think it's a big deal for the sons. Were going anywhere with rookie. Ricky rubio and then dot the andrea. They're going to build around booker in eight and here I it goes far. As a short term solution. They gave up The up a little bit to get them. But i think the basketball should be exciting here. I think that they'll do a good job building on a pretty promising season. Your remember you know you have to go way back. You have to go back almost a year now To deandra eight and being suspended for twenty five games and yeah that's what did the sons then. They played their hearts out in the bottle. In third very promising team in the western conference or the contender. They're not but i think that they'll give golden state and the lakers a little bit of a raw. The clippers are dead in the west and Villas sons have a chance to penetrate through. I think that there are playoff team this year. How far they go Really depends on how well they're playing when the playoffs rolled around

Warriors' plan aims to allow 50% fan capacity

"State Warriors have submitted a plan for home games that they're going to test fans, and they're going to allow fans up to 50% fan capacity. So their new beautiful arena the Chase Center seats 18,000 you have about 9000 fans in there are 50% capacity. So this has not been approved yet, but it's been a plan that has been submitted Lakers going to spend upwards of $30 million to test every fan Every employee and every player and it's going to be a rapid test and it is 99% accuracy and this test It comes back within 15 minutes, So I guess the way this is gonna work. That you would want right When you get up to the gate. They would test you and you got to go somewhere for 15 minutes. Or maybe When you're driving up and who knows the public transportation. I don't really know the scene out there. People get to the stadium. But let's just say you're driving. There's some sort of parking lot Would you now, when you're going in? You have a parking so they come out They would swab your. However, they do the rapid tests and then you got away in your car 15 minutes and they give you the thumbs up or thumbs down. I guess that talent's got to go. But there is going to be a rapid test of this thing is improved. And you get the results back in 15 minutes are also gonna change. The air filtration in the stadium is well state of the art technology and all this Joe Lake up, said in regards to this report or this plan that he submitted. California I know only want to get this done and show the world we can get it done now, but I'm willing to spend the money to do it, Joe Lake of said who holds a master's degree in public health from U C L A and build his fortune as a venture capitalist in biotechnology. This is serious, serious problem. It cannot go on for multiple years, because if this were to go on for several years The MBA is no more. You cannot sustain it. The Warriors owner said. This league with no fans. You can do it for a year. We'll get by for a year. But suppose we're in this situation next year. Now we're talking some serious, serious financial damage to a lot of people. So,

Warriors' plan aims to allow 50% fan capacity

"Year. We should have something to cheer about. But now, of course No fans or will there be? Or in the ESPN. Ramona Shelburne. Warriors have a plan a very expensive plan. Get 50% capacity at Chase Center this year. If you might be saying deter, how the hell are they going to do that? And I asked the same question. And I'm still pretty skeptical that they can pull this off because as of yesterday or maybe even the day before that, I believe they just rolled back. Lot of openings that we were doing here in the city of San Francisco. Situation is not getting better. Getting worse. We're not going to get into the nitty gritty of that. Because that is something I'm not fully qualified to do, Nor probably are you unless you are. George Rutherford, Dr Jordan Rutherford Police feel free to call in Anyway, KNBR. Warriors want to get 50% capacity. At Chez Center. And here's How Joe Lake up who, by the way Bio tech billionaire public health. Degree from U C. L A nose a little bit about. This has a little bit of expertise in this area. I wouldn't say he's epidemiologists or anything like that. I wouldn't put him in charge of the Coronavirus task force. Or anything like that, but certainly more qualified than myself. To figure out how to get 50% capacity. At Chase Center. Now bear with me hear it does get a little In the weeds. But when we're talking about this, we need to be specific about what the hell's going on. This information is important, even if it is a little dense. I'll do my best here but bear with me. The plan is Lakers going to spend $30 million Which you might say That's chump change. That's an Andrew Wiggins. The test every fan employees and player Media to be determined. I would imagine that he's not going to spend the money on us Can't really blame him. Of course, you will have masks and you will have distancing. But the plan is they're going to use a rapid PCR test. So the PCR test that's the deep one right where they get real up in the nose. Those were supposed to be about 99% accurate Now, Joe Lake Up, says he's gotta read. He's got a He's got a guy. He's got a plug. You can get him rapid PCR tests. That means 20 minutes or so you could get an answer, as opposed to what we saw with Major League baseball, where it's 24 hours later, which worked out great at the end of the World Series. I mean bang up job. Think about the amount of times that baseball had a problem this year because of the delay. We're going from 24 hours to 20 minutes. And you might go. We already have rapid testing like that, Peter, we do. There. Auntie Gin tests. Now this is this is the difference. The PCR is the 99% 1. So that's finding any kind of the virus. In your nose. Going up in there finding some of the virus. And then through technology being able to figure out, you know. If you have it or not, If you can't find it after the amplifying, amplifying, amplifying, amplify you don't have it. You got a little bit it. The anti Jin tests are different. They're looking for something that is bound. To the virus. Basically, you have to be shedding the virus in order for the anti Jin test to succeed. Now, those tests are very fast. Take like 10 15 minutes, right? You could get a result. If you're shedding the virus, you probably are showing some symptoms. And so it's estimated. But there is a 30 to 50% miss rate. With these rapid auntie gin tests. Which at a certain point you're like, Why are we bothering with him? Why are we spending all this money? The PCR is the way to go to believe to be 99% accurate. If we could have a situation where the PCR test He's going as fast as the anti gene tests. I don't know about you. But 99% is a lot better than 50% or even 70% on its best day. The Joe Lake up once rapid PCR tests for every fan player and employees. On day of game. Now. I don't know what it's not like You could put everybody in a room in test. Um, just sit around. Mean Chase Center has a great filtration from everything I heard. I heard that well before you know, we really cared about filtration because that was something I cared about him. Big fan, big fan of ventilation. I think they can change out. The air and Chase Center four times an hour like change out the entirety of the air, which seems like a pretty good thing to do. You could also have nothing but outside air coming in. Really let it flow. And I say that would be a good plan. But these rapid PCR tests are the difference. And then George Rutherford. The After mentioned George Rutherford public health expert saying This is as close to a perfect plan as I've seen

All right, let's do it. Let's do it. So I had a live show last night where I actually brought in some angry Laker fans to discuss why they were so angry. It turns out though, I would yep. That well, you know what? I gotta give the people what they want and I gotta make sure that they're happy to some degree with what I'm doing and so but it turns out I'm not the only one I guess the ringer was getting all sorts of grief from from Lakers fans as well. It sounded like in the big thrust of the issue was that like LeBron maybe are not quite getting enough credit off and so my explanation was you know, when I'm doing a breakdown like I kind of we know that they're amazing. Like there's nothing really great to show about Anthony Davis facing up on crowder and just shooting over him five times in a row. It's you know, that's what happens. I don't put it in cuz it's not that interesting. But here I am. We're almost to the point where LeBron is turning thirty-six because he's thirty-six and a few months in December so long this is this could be and I hope it's not but it's possible. This is his best chance to win a championship Father Time's going to catch up at some point and he understands what this means to his legacy mod right way now with a third franchise and it reopens the goat conversation with Michael Jordan and I think that's always I think I wanted to see LeBron get to them but I've always said that if LeBron can get to with us just to I feel like that edges him into Laker, you know, all time Lakers status because of the relevance of that page it'll mean in terms of us passing the Celtics in terms of the timing of it with Kobe. "Time, but I feel like even though though it's an entire season in L. I didn't completely erase that. I felt like the first game back after Kobe died. That's when that went away. That's when LeBron really being a cab or Lebron really being a Miami Heat was gone. LeBron is a Laker. The speech that he gave the Staple Center crowd that night to me that pushed LeBron into the family of Lakers Nation. Anybody who was holding out at that point now needed to see LeBron as one of our own people talk about Anthony Davis, you know, you surrendered all these young assets. He's not a guy that you drafted. Did they draft Shack? Did they draft Wilt Chamberlain? Did they offer Kareem? No. That's not historically the way Lakers have built teams. And maybe we were spoiled by Kobe all along. Right and we saw Kobe even though Kobe technically was traded for but we saw Kobe from an eighteen-year-old kid did grow up become a man become a father become an MVP become a champion. All of these things happened before our eyes. That's not the norm though. That's not the normal relationship between a fan base and a player and that's what makes Kobe Kobe. That's why nobody's ever going to replace them. LeBron was never brought in to replace him. Anthony Davis wasn't brought into her. Mom Ko B. Nobody's going to do that. And yet we still have some fans who look at LeBron as this Outsider. Look at Anthony Davis as an outsider because the Lakers had to trade for him know of anything. I think what they've had to go through this season from stopping due to covid-19. But this is a likable Squad people like The Underdogs was the likelihood that this Lakers team would come together and day one. They would have the chemistry that they showed that they would be able to work together as a unit that everybody would understand their role right from the get-go How likely was that to happen? I was in predicting and I didn't see anybody else who was who was thinking that the Lakers were going to be the number one seed in the Western Conference. Most people said it was going to take a lot it was going to take some building. There were going to be some bumps in the road some trials and tribulations in order to get where they are right now. Chemistry isn't something that just magically comes together when you put enough talented people on One Squad we've seen that we know it we've lived through that we lived through the Kobe Dwight Powell Steve Nash voelker's that happened. We know that sometimes all the talent of world doesn't matter if the chemistry is not there and yet this Laker Squad found a way to find chemistry right away home and I think that's impressive and then you look at the individual stories..

"We've only got a few minutes left. I want to go ahead and thank everybody for listening. Disowned WANNA go ahead and mentioned if you have any questions for Laker Tom. Myself Michael Bloomberg TJ. Johnson congratulations again on the birth of your son. Hopefully you'll be able to come back soon. I know he was trying to but obviously being a father that right now. A brand new father again for the second time. He's a really just really. You'll have some late night so we're trying to still schedule something out but Michael Berg Raphael Barlow Stone has all those NBA draft guys. Got a question for them and not sure where to go to go ahead and hit us up at Laker's fastbreak twitter or Laker's fastbreak at Yahoo Dot Com. You can also check out all the great stuff that we're doing all over the place. When it comes to Laker's fastbreak pop culture cosmos game source in inside sports fantasy football but for all the great things that are going on as far as the Lakers the best place to go to go ahead and get involved in the conversation and also react to some a Laker. Tom's crazy trades as trader. Tom You can go ahead today. Laker Hall Ix dot net Tom Outside of those traits snarls. Which gets even your community riled up as I have seen so far in the past season what else is going on with your great site known as Howard Stein that there's a lot of talk still about the corona virus situation. We're all very concerned about whether or not the Lakers are GonNa get an opportunity to defend their championship. The MULATA of talk about different trades and different stop. There's been a lot of Kobe. Talk the whole Michael Jordan. Last dance stuff is really Ron and a lot of subjects. I haven't seen the latest episode that focuses on Koby necessarily distant WanNa get put myself through that grind again of you know watching all of those great memories and and refrain. You know just getting refreshed for the whole tragedy of Gobi dying trying to focus a lot of the lot of the energy on site toward looking toward the future in in questions about. Who should we spend our emily money on? And and who trade who looked at trade for and so forth and what holds do we need to fill in the roster trying to leave it as as things concentrated on more the basketball rather than the corona virus aspect that seems to be affecting all of us at this point in time And I told you before we got on the air. I swing back and forth between thinking that we're going to get an opportunity to to win that Seventeenth Championship Bruce Thanking the. There's no chance that we're going to if if we go into fall and and And the pandemic starts to get even worse than it is today but I invite everybody to stop by the site There's still a lot of conversation harassed. A lot of people are are still checking every day to see what's happening And it's a great place if you're interested in intelligent conversation where everybody is very respectful and and it's a it's an exchange of ideas more than a than placed is going to rant and rave and once again you can check it out today at Alex Dot net. You can do a little ranting and raving there to Lakers or even her. Tom Latest trade scenarios. Right there Laker Alex Dot net. He always gets a kick out of that. I think he just does it. To the stirrup Hornets nest pardon the NBA Pun there. But yes. I think he doesn't sometimes just to see what kind of reaction he's GonNa get. So it's it's nicer then on twitter. I'll give you that much if you follow out. Laker Tom on twitter especially during the course of the season. Yeah sometimes they were just downright not nice dion. Now it's just you know you're just throwing it out there. You're just starting out there. I have I will admit on twitter. I have thrown some things out but usually keep it pretty honest to later. Hogs Dot net. Yes 'cause hall dot net is your baby and you want to go ahead and be part of the conversation today. Laker hallet's Annette. I very glad to have been a part of it so far. It's something that I truly cherish. As far as my time they're interacting with the community they've been pretty receptive. Although a lot of them just want to go ahead and get into the season there so depressed at the season right now is not not there. I get data I understand. It's been a tough year for Lakers. Fans I mean look what China. Then you go into the the uncertainty going into the season. Then you go into the uncertainty. As far as what the Lakers are going to do than the Lakers really hit a high as far as doing so well exceeding of so many expectations and then you have the unfortunate death of Kobe Bryant and then you had the Lakers going back on a roll once again. Proving themselves worthy by beating both walkie and the clippers back to back in one of the greatest weekends for Lakers fans during the season ever know set during the season and then you had the corona virus hidden obviously the stoppage the NBA season. Then you had what happened last week with the Lakers and the PP. It's been a spin weird. Ride my friend ups and downs Galore. But I'm still willing to go through it with you. How now listen? It's a do or die for the Lakers for both of us. Gerald one of the things that you you find out when you go through a situation like we've all gone through with the corona virus. Crises is that you never know what you missed until you miss it now and you just don't know how valuable certain things are until you can't do anymore know so. I'm looking forward to finally though getting out in the open and doing things. Because we're all missing what we once did those rudimentary mundane things that we used to do. Three months ago. Seems so far away now and even though we thought we were bored as hacked doing it now seems like something that we miss and we WANNA go ahead back to because obviously all of us want to give back to the lives we once had and I hope to be a new normal. It's going to be a new normal feeling. You're right my friend as always is just so great to have you here from looking forward to our conversations next week. I hope you won't get thrown out though you know put together. Some crazy trades just for you crazy. Trade is. I'm telling you this off season. The atmosphere and climate and the whole approach toward trades in big salaries is going to be a whole lot different than it was ever before in the NBA. It's going to be a really different new normal when we come to off season while tell you what if those trade proposals get too crazy. I'M GONNA call your wife until I got you about this.

"She had up her ex. I noticed he was no longer blocked when I brought it up to her. She said she was confident in our relationship and had no desire to keep him blocked anymore. Yeah this is a little fishy. She as much as I want to believe that nothing weird is going on. My Gut says something different. Any help. I do think it's weird that it was her idea to block this guy and she's like look you block him so he's not creeping on you an all block him to once you make the decision if you're going to unblock the person because clearly she got a little curious. Yes about her ex. Which I don't blame her they. They dated for a while. I don't know exactly how long they were officially together because they were on and off for two years and that's after they had broken up so they have whatever it is her. Have a long history. And you know she got annoyed that he was creeping or maybe it was trying to make her new guy feel better but then she got weak and wanted him to see what she was up to and wanted to look at his pictures. Because I don't think you can do that when someone's blocked. And so she unblocked him but didn't tell her acts which is not cool. It's kind of breaking the agreement that you had that him feel confident. That's what makes this sort of suspicious to me is that she knows he has a problem with this. And yet she did this thing secretly behind his back and the only way he found out about it was that he went and did his own snooping and then. I feel she's kind of gas lighting him by saying I feel so confident in our that I felt I no longer needed to block him. So you know it's just making the Laker responded. I gotTA say like Pretty Good. 'cause she's like trying to definitely like putting like a flattering spin on it. Like I feel so good about us. I no longer need to block him. I'm being a bigger person by unblocking when actually we know the real situation. The real situation is either. You were curious about his your XS pictures or you wanted your ecstasy your pictures. That's the only reason you would unblock your ex so you could say you're so confident. But that's a little bullshit. I would buy her excuse of that. She's so confident in a relationship if they're had never been a block and there was just like. I'm friends with this person on social media. It's not a big deal. Whatever but oh fact that blocked and then unblocks then your your argument of being confident in the relationship does not hold up as much. Because you showed that you cannot like. It's not relevant to you that this person is out of your life like there. GonNa want to be connected to them in some way so I mean we're all humans we had a little weak sometimes doesn't necessarily mean that you have anything to worry about but you are fully one hundred percent justified in being upset by this. I think I agree. Totally not a good sign so I would just tell her. Made me feel better when we both had this person blocked and the only reason you would unblock them. I'm confident in our relationship too but the only reason you would unblock them as if you wanna see their pictures or you want them to yours because you want to make them jealous and it just makes me a little uncomfortable and you know maybe in like a very very long future if you become friends with them again or you know. Things are like less weird. Maybe there's a scenario where we don't need the block people but for now. I think it's too soon so that's helpful if any of you listeners. "Just not where you buy your weed from the underground but one thing I wanted to go ahead and ask you is who will the Lakers starting center be next season? So I WANNA get your thoughts on that. Let's say they keep all three. Let's say they retain all three and Arcus does get resigned back into the fold and Dwight Howard gets resigned back into the fold and Javale. Mcgee gets reassigned back into the fold. We have three seven footers walking around. Which would please Anthony Davis to no end? Because that would mean even less time for him to play center which playing. I really wouldn't want to go into that because that's another argument for another day but I don't think anybody really arguably the when it comes to the experts because we all know. Anthony Davis is probably best at the five spot. But be that as it may. Let's say you have the choice between all three and you sign all three or maybe you don't or what have you. But I think jail is going to pick up his his option. I think that's pretty much sure because most players in this time we're going to pick up their option it's interests so who will be the. Lakers starting center next season. I there's one other thing that factor in here Gerald Matteo's that we saw a drain the last few games of the season and increasingly after the All star break. That not only did. Anthony Davis play more minutes at the five. But we also saw Markeith Morris. Play a lot of Minnesota five any saw later basically play almost you know forty percent of the Games after the especially when we got in those two games against the bucks and against the clippers. We were playing very close to fifty percent with with a three point shooter. Basically playing five. So this is why I don't disagree with the various comments that were made that going. Howard was more likely than boogie cousins. Now when you talk about bogey I think the APP to I make this statement that a lot of this depends on how he comes back. You know what kind of player is he does. He got some lift because if he doesn't have lift his more like the guy that we saw for parts of the playoffs when he played with the Warriors that's that's going to be a tough situation than I think that you may have some questions as to whether the Lakers would bring him back but the Lakers have invested at higher year and turned down many opportunities to trade for him before they ended up waiving him because he's the perfect fit next to Anthony Davis that last year or half a year before he got injured. He was playing the stretch five. He wasn't the he wasn't the bank down low center that that kept Anthony Davis from playing dot on the outside instead he was the guy who was basically creating space for Anthony Davis to attack the RIM Because he was shooting on PACE. Shoot over three hundred. Three's for the year and only one centers ever done that and that was Brook Lopez the year before this year where Lopez shot over three hundred. Three's at thirty four percent. Bogey was shooting almost thirty six percent and was on pace to shoot three hundred. Three's and that's the spacing that Lebron James and Anthony Davis desperately need on the Lakers and so even though we've had tremendous success being big all year long with the combination of McGee and our D- And I don't think the Lakers are ready to abandon that but I also think that you'll see the same thing happened next season that logo through against a lot of teams and just overpower them with our size but when we get up against the elite teams the the south of the Celtics they clippers the Docs The Raptors those are the teams. Were basically you need a lot more than just big size inside you? Those are teams that are going to stack. The they're going to pound up the middle they're going to clog up the lane they're gonNA Darris. Shoot three point shots and they're going to double team. They are are superstars every chance they get and what you need to beat those teams is you need somebody who can stretch the floor and spread the defense and boogie hopefully will recover well enough to do that. I think that he's the logical choice for the Lakers to do that. I'm hoping that his recovery is going well He up until the corona virus thing even though he was waived he had still got permission from the League. Workout with the Lakers. You can see the comments that the guy loves the Lakers and I. I think he's going to repay that loyalty by doing a good contract for the Lakers. It may not be the the two or three year deal that I was hoping for before that we might get us bird rights with him but I definitely think is going to want to stay there and is going to be the perfect fit. He's one of the reasons why Anthony Davis wanted him on. The team was such an important factor in keeping him. So I fully expect that Boogie still will be the starting center for the Lakers. Next year and one of the big reasons now have dramatically improved lineup beforehand out. Got Two things WANNA talk about one of which is obviously what's going on. Laker holidays on net so I guess before we hit on the last subject what is going on with all the great things of Laker Holly Sunday. Plus your great columns at medium dot Com. It's been pretty volatile times Dot Net because of because of the nature of what's happening. I sorta let go the rule that we always had not talking politics. And we've had quite a bit of political discussion on the site. I just today actually put back in the rule simply because a few people were complaining and I thought I thought at times we had enough opportunity for everybody event and give their decisions and a lot of this is sort of sort of related to the simple fact that the NBA shut down and so it's been a volatile a couple of weeks and I think that It was good for us to get some of that off of our off of our minds. We have a new site. That's going to be up. Probably by the end of the month. The among many of the changes that were making in the format of the site as well as expanding a lot of things that It I'm going to be more of a social site. In the sense that will have will have private groups where people can discuss whatever they want and without having it filter into the main threat or the main wall of the site. Where are we really WANNA stick with basketball and primarily with Lakers oriented things so we got people that are going to be Beta testing a new site starting at the end of the week? Deluding yourself. And we'll hopefully have some adjustments. Make sure everything is working well before we go public on. May first so we're trying to make those changes and the we'll be expanding that we're probably going to add a Laker Hall. Lakes facebook page. Laker Hall Aches Instagram page. A laker highlights twitter page. So all of those things are sort of a in the second phase of of what's happening so rob pretty excited about that. There's a half dozen people who've been working with me and developing and laying out the new site and so forth so it's real exciting times the We still have regular conversations that are going on very strongly. The Kobe Bryant Hall of fame thing was a big subject than a lot of discussion about things that are related to whether or not the League is going to Resume Games. And now they would do that. The feelings that people have some people with down the road. Some people think that it's almost impossible that will be able to resume the season and a lot of it is because of the need to isolate the players that make sure that nobody comes down with corona virus drain. Whatever tournament or or situation you have in your I invite everybody to stop by the site. Let us know what you're thinking Enjoy a lot of talk about what's going on with the Lakers We started talk about the draft. We're starting to talk about possible trades for next year Who is going to be the starting center as a big subject? Who's going to be the starting point guard next year's big subject whether the team will be better. And what are the reasons why? There's more room for optimism than next year steam. Being better than this year Steven was so it's It's the perfect place if you want to get involved in smart intelligent conversation with a great deal of respect regardless of what your opinion is like Alex Dot net suburban Blake's to go so you entrust me on being a Beta Tester. Yup I figure I got some guys who know how to break things. Gerald you fall right into that category. Oh thank you so much. If you need anything else as far as to talk to Laker time you can go ahead and reach out to him today on twitter at Laker. Tom Or you can just go ahead and be part of the conversation today and Laker Tom. Before we talk about our favorite player and one last little tidbit from the beginning of the show on the corona virus. That Wanna go ahead and touch on before we run out go ahead and let us know what the conversations like and Laker Hollick stunned that. It's an interesting situation because most of the Laker fans after the contributors later dot net are expecting the season. They get cancelled. And it's it's pretty much a pretty even split between a glass have fallen glass half empty guys and that's usually the way it is on the site. Although none of the glass half empty guys are are are downers in that sense what we would call more realistic people and On the same token most of the Afghan spoke guys aren't really Wild Wild The homers. There there are also people generally tend to look on the bright side of things. So there's been a lot of talk about The Corona virus. People are very interested in that there is. We've sort of dropped the veil on politics the moment just because of the seriousness of the situation facing the country And we've limited politics to be what's happening with respect to the virus and and how the government is responding to it and so forth a lot of talk about how the Lakers you know the. Nfl wants to everybody. Feels a certain terrible regret the CIA at the possibility that we might be denied an opportunity to to win our seventeenth championship. Right at a moment when we broke through and had our best weekend and dominated the clippers dominated the bucks any unfairness of it when Lebron finally finally got this chance to really show that it should be the MVP in the League. That may get taken away from him in and that weekend a great weekend. The great climb through the standings to get to the top could all be you know to no avail. So there's a sense of being you know a terrible injustice that goes along with the tragedy that we're all suffering from the corona virus. A lot of talk about people just telling everybody else to stay healthy and stay happy and make sure that your family safe and and You know don't go out and do dumb things you know basically realize that even if you're even if you're young and unlikely to have a serious with illness that you could be a carrier in spreader and nobody wants to have that on their shoulders. "You never imagined just one of the many pop culture projects from ROB MCCALLUM EMPIRE PRODUCTIONS. One thing that really is hanging over everybody. I think is the corona virus situation. It's almost impossible to imagine and I understand lebrons comment. That will hell if there's no fans I'm not gonNA play. Can you imagine a game we could be looking at the? Nba Playoffs with empty. Stadiums could be a possibility at me. We're already seeing Euroleague. Games with empty stadiums or to seeing a lot of things canceled events. Sporting events conventions major events. That are out there that are being canceled south by southwest or whatnot. Obviously we've been talking about it on the pop culture cosmos quite a bit because it's affecting the movie industry which and the entertainment industry as a whole which you know. Alice are now saying could be as much of a loss. Worldwide is five billion dollars or more at least to China alone. So people are talking about that it is something that's very serious and something that definitely the NBA's looking at and the memos are being passed out constantly so they are closely monitoring the situation and our first and foremost with the be looking at the players in the playoffs. Start April fifteenth in that little. Bit a little bit after that. Yes it's it's going to be something that definitely GonNa have to look at. We got a month. We got a month to find out how bad the situation gets with the GARONA virus before the NBA playoffs. Start absolutely and we've got also another month before the NBA playoffs started to see where the Lakers positions ad. But no doubt my friend. There's no doubt about it now. The Lakers can match up and beat anybody that sooner way and it's great to see no more talk about how they can't beat the bucks. Yup No art talk about how they can't beat the clippers. Now Have Twenty wins against playoff teams more than any other team in the league including the clippers Anybody else will. The Lakers proved definitely without out that they can beat anybody out there. They have proved themselves to be legitimate title contender. "And it doesn't seem like it's so much based on them really just lucky eating guys houses. Okay. You are special tax. But but I'm saying that really really wet. But if feels like some girls say they like eating guys asses just because they are sort of try like in their head. They're so blinded by their love of cock that to them that loving eating ass is a representation of how much they well. What do you like about it? Tell me. I don't know. I think I just like that. It's taboo in like, I like, I only like it. When a guy doesn't want you to touch us, and then it's a game syndrome. Yeah. So for example, if you meet a girl. Who's like, oh, I don't do anal. All of a sudden, you wanna get your dick in her us. Right. It's a game as a younger moon, perhaps as I got older that, you know, thing to seems a lot less taboo, crazy. No girl doesn't want to do something now with your goal to get her to do something. So for me if a guy's like, oh, I don't really like my ass played with. I'm like okay now, it's a game. And I'm gonna get you to I I'm wanna lick it. And then eventually there's going to be something that goes in it. Oh, yeah. That's your thing. Yeah. So even any guy date house to at some point expand his asshole, I can safely say that any guy I've ever dated has let me stick something in his fingernails crazy. If you've got the long acrylics, Cardi, B nails definitely got us away. Oh, yeah. Okay. So not fingers. That's gross. I mean, I'll start with the tongue and then I like convinced them that they're going to have the best orgasm ever, if they let me then I take them to the second store for your bullshit. I take him. No sex story. Pick out a toy together. It's fun experience. It really sounds like you're just leading these dudes around fucking dog. And I'll leash now. It'll be fine. Yes. We're gonna tear your booty open. My problem to be honest with it is that the first time I've ever had my ass by my girlfriend was when I was drinking shit so being drunk. She goes and tries to do it Boehm. I'm letting to do it. It's fine. Then she tries to do it when I'm so bird, and it tickles so bad as she's getting close to it that I can't even be serious enough. And I just started giggling that sounds every guy that I've had they love it. She's tried to put a finger on it. I'm just not feeling because you want to know what really convinced me as I had a call an auspey a few months ago. That's different. We'll have a doctor's finger in there. The whole time that he has his finger in my ass. I'm just thinking. Nope. Never let anybody do this for any reason. -magine like your dick is being stroked while Laker tongue. It feels good. You know, done lick just don't really want in. There just seems like too much to bite off. Not literally bite off just seems like a lot. Like, I just don't. I don't know. I feel like there's something that happens as you get older for me for me. At least where it's like, I've made it this far don't want it made it this far without getting fucked in the of okay, one time, I was reading a little interview thing with fifty cent, and they're asking what he thought of anal. And he goes man, we ain't imprison we all got to do that. And I was just like, you know, what that is kind of like how I'm thinking of it too is like we're in this world of softness and ice cream and yogurt and just everything is nice. And we have frilly blankets and stuff like that. And then you want me to put something in my fucking poop hole. Like enjoy it. You'll enjoy it. But I'm all about like doing whatever you enjoy. Really? Yeah. Okay. Well, let's enough. So you take a few years off from porn and during that time, you're just doing the real estate thing. No, I ride to try to. Meaning I got my license. Okay. Is it proceeded to sell zero houses?.

"Pool i was jealous of that cowherd are you concerned about the start of lebron's relationship with laker fans oh god two minutes into his career of a thundering dunk down the lane he's the favourite player over i mean i was in portland a city full of wonderful people jr writer was in trouble every fifteen minutes he'd scored twenty eight he got gotta run for mayor i mean listen that was the key word in its listen los angeles is a city of artists of tape of flakes of crazy of troubled of enigmatic enters its a tolerant city that used to stars and divas and coby they love kobe magic they love magic's corinne shack is the kardashians city campion and it's a city that has allegiances and for years there was a little koby lebron rivalry i look on a scale of one to ten i'm gonna put my concern level at a three but there is some concern about his relationship with the family because i think lebron comes here in a different mindset you know when he went back to cleveland when he went there the first time when he went to miami it was all about doing the work to particularly when he went back to cleveland to make up with the fan base when he went to miami to build a new fan base i think lebron's kinda resting on his laurels as he comes here and just as a released to fans as no press he's not going to even talk and basically hasn't even public knowledge i would like i would like a press conference because as a press guy i think he's great in front of the mike he's very quotable that but that's selfish on my and now to tease people have mobile he he said that he didn't it was a play on words number laon words a play on words number one but they gave out free pizza and people showed up for the pizza number one they didn't show up for the brian james press conference however we're dealing with one of the best fan bases in basketball the most loyal fan base in basketball and once he goes out there and handles his business he's not going to have a problem i dealt with criticism from this fan base even when when when kobe got hurt in that play in atlanta and they threatened my kids they had death threats all because of the love that they have for their players for that organization and once he goes out there and plays and gives his heart to the city of los angeles they'll forget all about all this nonsense you had your concern at a on a one to ten is the three i would go with zero because this comes back to internet versus real world woodlock and we talk about this all the time i'm out there talking to people you know i play pick up basketball talked to neighbors everybody universally excited about lebron hey jake can you get us any tickets do you have any connections what jersey numbers are you gonna wear that those are the concerns nobody's talking about oh that pizza party blew off how good lebron do that press conference colin can we be patient we don't know of quiet leonard's coming we don't know what the other is to drive there scheduled me you know that right it's coming down to visit let's remember what happened last year jr smith through supercoach kyri left him his replacement couldn't play and was dramatic it kevin love got hurt the coach left for a month they read in the roster at the trading deadline and by the celtics series buttoneddown.
