"Don't forget that th e The pet show or instagram or Twitter is simply at Warren Eckstein E C. K s T. I n follow me there. I do share a lot of information during the week. Let me get right back to the busy phones we got John. Steve. Kathy John. Right now we're going to John in Lake Ozark, Missouri. Hey, John. Welcome to the picture show. Hi, Warren. How are you? I could not be better, John. How about yourself? Same way? Same way. I could tell you a story about a cap. It showed up around my place that one already we have done. Yes, Uh, with the wildcat appeared, it was starving. The skinniest cannot ever seen. But it was amazing looking cat. It was white. I think you would call it a calico. Had brown patches. Karma patches on it, but it wouldn't let me get anywhere near it. But it was so skinny. I felt sorry for it, but went barf bag cat food I've never really had. I love animals. I've never really had a pet as an adult, but decided, you know, I can't let this cash start so Start putting out food for it. And sure enough, it took a while. But There were a few times I would see it eating the food. The food was always gone, but I wasn't sure the Capitoline But then it just starts throwing up more and more around my place. So I slowly and very sneakily started putting the food closer and closer to the porch. And it's a probably six months. But finally that cat would appear on my porch every evening when I got home from work, and I would feed it and it still kept its distance you feet but After probably a few months of that, I decided. Okay, I'm gonna patch I want to catch you. I'm gonna be Oh, and sure Enough, I put the food down and put it beside me and I sat right there and that cat came up and ate and let me pet it. And it was really pretty cool, and now it loves to be petted. We've pretty much adopted this cap. We eventually get thee to a veterinary and got it fixed. Don't want any any cases around but get all that's a lot. And I asked my daughter. What? We're gonna name it. Because it was pretty much our camp get adopted at that point, so she suggested patches. And that name stuck. And now passes is just almost a favorite child around this girl. What a great story, John. People don't understand very often. The dog or the cat, The stray that we've seen the neighborhood. We don't know what they've been through. We don't know if they've been bullied by people bullied by other animals. People through things, Adam. People scared them. You know, Gosh only knows what happened to them. And it takes a lot of patients and and a lot of love and a heart like yours done. And I mean this seriously to take the time to take the time to to bring them in a I've worked. I've had dogs and cats I rescued over the years, some of which have taken me a year and a half or two years I've taken up taking some dogs out of horrible dog fighting rings. And and and rescue them And then some of them have taken me a long periods of time to adjust in and get them to the point where they're they're feeling comfortable around people and other animals, But it's well worth it. I mean, if people would only understand for some reason we expect our pitch to be perfect. We're not. We're not even close to it. We expect them to adapt right away. They learned through association. So what happens is every time the cat associated something positive with John. He gained a little bit more confidence, a little bit more confidence, and ultimately he fell in love with you as much as you fall in love with him. Yeah, And it's the sea, the sea and what won't notice Most Calico's almost 99% of Calico's of female Very rare. You see him now? Calico Cat, Very vory rib. What's the cat's name? Catches my daughter's name. Thank you anyway, John. I'm trying to think of what I want to send your child to you. Will you have a copy of my cat book? So you understand cats inside out? Well, that'd be great. Thank you. Oh, no, thank you for taking this catalog. I'm sure Patrick has the life of Riley right now for those people to remember the life of Riley. It's not too young. So let me do this. John. Let me put you on hold and I'm going to send you keeps going to pick up and I'm gonna send you a copy of how to get your cat to do what you want and again. Bless you for taking this cat in patients time. Do you know how that's why I love you guys? You know, I get a lot of praise and pats on my back because you guys that deserve it. The animals that you saved. I mean, you listen to the show. How many of my listen to rescue the dog rescued a cat took a dog off the street. Save the cat here went to the shelter. You guys are absolutely amazing.
