L. electronic signature on that get that account and then when you log in to go to the email it's secure and it's got your pack team members and when you say what's a pac team for the pac team is the patient aligned care teams and all your providers that are on that team you can email them directly and his friend pointed out last week he needed not exam you're probably not going to do that yes hello health call so sometimes it may re require you to go in and your provider will set you up with that appointment and if you can do a virtual appointment they will send you an email and the email will have a link in there and you just click on that link at the appointment time and everything comes up online you can do that on your phone you can do it on your computer you can do it on a tablet and the apple people you can do it on mac operating system but the apple people the iPods and iPads and all that they are special yes they get their own apps you've got to go up online and download the app for VA telehealth which makes it a little bit more difficult for them in order we we really have found a new way I believe in doing business in the future with the VA all bold most people don't know the toll largest users of telehealth of the world is the beer very just have never fully utilized that program until this here now my last two doctors appointment at didn't done done by phone hello may we have a way of starting to do business a little different to all of this this pandemic is a terrible thing it does create some opportunities for us to go forward with the technology that we have are your are still closed programs for training to telehealth with VA you know how much longer she would all we've used telehealth with our our LA hospital for many many years so this is nothing new it's just not all we have to use it may be more more people find programs to get into my car and go somewhere warm we can come up online and do a lot more business than having to jump in your car and go somewhere well for example if you live in Peron and have to come over to a specialty clinic at the hospital here that's quite a distance to go in and put you more at risk for being out in the public in a more populated area here now what I learned from this weapon are and I found this very interesting if you email your provider they call will actually mail you an I. pad in the mail for you to use as long as you need to use it and your provider determines that if they need to see on a regular basis or do raider blood pressure or temperature anything they have a way of doing that with the iPad and they will send it to you free of charge I thought that was that was pretty amazing for the vehicles unfortunately there's always a drawback to this and I think the drawback is we have a lot more older vets and the older vets we don't embrace this technology as much you know we're we're used to hand to hand face to face and do in this electronic stuff you know when your fingers are too big and you miss something when your slide it across the screen you know we're just not used to that no now you see the a larger when you start saying why it sounds like you event **** not everybody does that they have care givers that they get involved for their family their children that can help them do that so let's not rule out the old guys like us that that won't use it let's get them to utilize through the character version with family members there's no reason not to use this technology thank a lot easier on everybody yes well definitely easier and definitely a lot faster we need to start using technology we've been harping on this for years and years of the center well certainly we've talked about it so many times on the show we've got a couple of false starts with different things really started to go because of timing not being correct well people are forced unfortunately they're forced and now I believe they're going to find it's a lot easier to get on there and again we all of us don't get turned off in this life I know you don't like to use the phone to the computers your kids or your neighbor or a character will that understands this and I'll show you when you find out how easy and convenient the shares you might be surprised at first if you can get all of a sudden no like you said before many times Jim the TV remote you get the the nearest fifth graders sixth grader they'll come in and help him at all snap together for you in a minute well the bottom line is they're born with if they grow up I mean I see these little to ensure your kids playing on these things for that was the customer so natural part of their life like blinking your rights also over people never had it I mean I have to admit I have fits with it every so often although I know that we have to use it you know when we helped launch my hope the best R. J. how many years ago here with the via I said that first going on my hope is that trying to navigate through it but look at it now can you imagine not being able to use that program to order match you can make appointments some of those just so many things at Maddie lodge elementary compare medications to see what they do those are things that are wonderful and if you don't have to get up on the computer for once again care giver or somebody can help you it's amazing the information that's available to you only give out of a website because this whole technology.

"Yet yes I believe that and I and I say again for our policies on tax low taxes and regulations and trade in a while and she helped enormously I believe this is a short term problem I believe it's a matter of weeks and months it is not a matter of years and regarding the president I was with him this morning we had RG seven our conference meeting IBM as he was very calm about the market and it is what it is we think it's gonna get better but that's you know we'll see we'll see how that goes I can tell you nobody knows they're doing the best they can but uncharted territory here no question about it we're in a whole different situation we've ever been in before and the usual tools I mean the government the other thread in these other monetary policy instruments that we have them in the face of the big one the fed fired its Missouri and coronavirus was kind of like yeah not gonna I'm not gonna do anything with that one so now what happens well looks like they're actually talking about the possibility of putting cash into Americans pockets very quickly my friends this is kind of like the freedom dividend that entry and talked about except it's not a this is an extreme measure I understand that but people are talking about it Mnuchin's damaging the smart guy he's one person who even even anti trump people in the world of finance I've talked to people that hate trump they say well Mnuchin these market he understands the understands government goalie understands finance and he understands how the government plays a role in the financial markets and so Mnuchin said look maybe maybe we've got to get money into people's hands in a thousand dollars but it's going to be a lot of money it's gonna be for a lot of people how do you distribute that what do you do for real don't have bank accounts what do you people don't have ID they're gonna show opens a give me my check for a thousand dollars for this week it's not just going to be for people that are already on welfare rolls are gonna be for everybody right can have real a lot of really hard working people that invest into anything wrong the fact that restaurants are shutting down the fact that we're being told that we can't do any economic activity right now that's not the fault of anybody anybody that's not anyone's fault right now I mean they're gonna say it's trump's fault and notice again today and I this sometimes I said I savings team more as a reminder to myself on the show that even me trying to express something necessary for all of you to hear about I try to keep it as non partisan as I can for as long as I can on the show I do my best because I think it's more important right now that we focus on what's happening and we focus on how to prevent a mass casualty incident but also we're gonna have to start looking at this like how do we balance keeping our economy alive if the economy completely collapses I mean if they if we go through the floor on this thing we're gonna have all kinds of problems apart from this virus you know I don't like to take this this position or I I'm not saying that this means we shouldn't do the things we're doing I'm advocating we got to give the government fifteen days but if we go through fifteen days and you've got Venus still fewer casualties then you would see in a tough flu season I'm not saying this will happen I'm making any predictions I'm just pointing out the decision tree the decision pathways that will face if you go through two weeks of this and everyone's feeling the economic pain and also the stir craziness that's gonna start setting in right we can't live our normal lives our lives are being put on pause by this I'll talk to you about things we can do in quarantine later let me know in some ways this is a weird way to think about it maybe take advantage of the time that you have to yourself at home without the obligations of of normal life well come later on the show so we talk about like what movies we should play what movies we should watch but if they're not the evening people are going to get to a point where they say I'm not gonna live my life this way with the government telling me that we can't do anything anymore because I think that this isn't worth it and we just have to deal with the reality that black yes some people getting sick some people are gonna die that's where we are that mentality will become wide spread quickly and the government's gonna happen very nimble about saying all right look our risk tolerance is change now if we go two weeks from now and you have and we're gonna now we're gonna see we have instant kind of communication all over social media never mind even just the normal media we're all gonna be able find out because the stuff along the viral you know if all of a sudden among grandpa are waiting in an emergency room for twelve hours when they can barely breathe and then they're being told there's no ventilator for them at a major metropolitan hospital or major regional hospital people are gonna say okay we gotta keep the social distancing thing going a long time and you know the economic fallout from this is something that we probably have to deal with but if that's not the case and if it feels like this is you're gonna have people to push back against the government and this is going to this is a very this is combustible is freestyle it is we're on the on the edge here a little bit more than I think a lot of people realize so okay giving people money a thousand dollars will that do anything one off thousand dollars not not if this is gonna last sixty to ninety days there's there's no one in America for whom a thousand dollars over the neck if they have no income a thousand dollars over the next sixty to ninety days music can meet all their obligations that's just not that's not possible so would have to be a lot more money than that and it means we're gonna run up that federal credit card there are people are going to say you know this is why we should be running up deficits now right how many times have I told you on the show I know nobody wants to hear this I know number by the way I I did I thought about this yesterday not that this is like a Pat my myself on the back situation because really who cares but I remember I was asked in roll call I think and we can track it down to a transcript of the show I think it was maybe in B. now the last quarter of last year what really worries me and I was like climate changes for idiots pandemic diseases a really big problem this has been there those of us who pay attention to actual signs no this has been our this is been a race that we are running as a society for a long time but all right so now we we get back to what we do about this what the monetary moves will be by the government they really should I mean Tucker Carlson talked about this last night on his show and you gotta give talker credit I do ever knows I like soccer show I also think I appreciate that they have me on but but also I think it's just a really good show I think the talker is a free thinker who does a lot of really important and insightful opportunity with his monologues important insightful things and he's been saying take it seriously guys take it seriously this is real get ready for it some other very big voices in conservative media have been a little chewed dismissive there's a component of this that has to be addressed and maybe more or maybe something I can address more later where we're looking at why do people not trust the media because the media is not trustworthy so when when a liar when someone who is dishonest lies about their intentions allies about their motivations and you've called them over and over and over again this is the media cries wolf scenario that some of us have been worried about like I I do wish there was a cable news network out there that was completely neutral that we really could believe was neutral that which is non partisan that's a better way of saying no such thing business listing your fox as act as a counterbalance to the leftwing insanity but fox is mostly in prime time opinion shows there are some neutral journalist shows on there they do a very good job of being fair to the facts but hi Greg okay the economics of this are going to get very very tricky what could turn this whole thing around a vaccine to cure I'm very pessimistic about this it's going to tell you I don't there's a lot of media coverage of this right now I'll tell you why here's what trump said yesterday about where we are the vaccine place three I'm also pleased to report today that a vaccine candidate is beyond the phase one clinical trial this is one of the fastest vaccine development launches in history not even close we're also racing to develop antiviral therapies and other treatments and we had some promising results early results are promising the severity and the duration of the sin of the symptoms and I have to say that argument is prepared to do whatever it takes whatever it takes when dealing now therapeutics as they're called essentially treatments farmer pharmacological treatments for this virus Zacks the more likely near term game changer we could have if you can just create something that slows down the disease progression enough that you don't need people put on ventilators so they have something that is artificially breeding for them which is what the big problem is right now with code nineteen one virus that would be a game changer vaccines at twelve eighteen months out my friends if we're on lockdown there's probably eighteen months warning I have an economy I mean we we we can't do that so it would be nice but also keep in mind that maybe this vaccine is not maybe the vaccines have not that effective I'm also a believer in we should put out a bounty because it's gonna be the private sector it's gonna be the private sector that figures out what the cure for this will be I'm doctor found she's out there saying we're moving very fast in the vaccine that's encouraging but I don't think anybody wants to be told to shelter in place when extra monthly six Zacks scenes candidate that was during the first injections for the first person to place today you might recall when we first started I said it would be two to three months and if we do that that would be the fastest ever gone from obtaining the sequence to being able to do a phase one trial this is me now sixty five days which I believe is the record of what it is it's a trial of forty five normal individuals between the ages of eighteen and fifty five the trials taking place in Seattle there will be two injections one and zero day first one and twenty eight days a week three separate doses twenty five milligrams a hundred milligrams.
