"A great hit on Fox the other day I saw that you're doing a great job I got to get you on my show I don't know why we haven't done that That's totally my fault So we'll get that done too But yeah I agree with you a 100% The point I was trying to make about liberals is not leaving you alone is liberals in the United States are working to destabilize countries overseas as well as here I mean just look at Central and South America So we have this idea like there's going to be some kind of amicable parting of the ways and then the libs are going to be like oh yeah whatever Florida Texas do your thing and we'll leave you alone When they can't even leave Mexico and Venezuela alone is like freaking crazy like these people our entire reason for being of individual liberties like you leave me alone I leave you alone when we find each other's company to be mutual mutually beneficial like on the show We value add to each other's lives That's not the way liberals work You know that amber their thing is to subjugate people And the subjugation process requires subjects So they're never just going to let you go peacefully Right I can see it now Dan I can see the bill crystals of the world looking at our free Florida going You know what We need to save those people We need to go in and we need to talk about the human rights offenses that are going on there And use our military to execute a Q so that we can you know we can save all of the poor souls that are being subjugated under port a rule That's how they would view it They would not view it as a bunch of people being happy in a separate situation They would think that they need to come in and take over and rule because we would be doing something terribly wrong Yeah be led by general Charlie Sykes and a lieutenant David French David yeah you know you know the army of zeros out there Let me move on to something

Liz Harrington: Libs Like to Cry Environmental Racism, Except in Ohio

"I hate to pardon the pun, but it was like watching a train record, see it in. Let me just would not stop. That guy. It's absolutely ridiculous, but you know, you were just talking about that policy disaster. And it struck me yesterday thinking about this. They like to talk about environmental racism. Well, what do they call this? I mean, clearly these leaders couldn't care less because it's a bunch of Trump supporters in a town, a small town, hardworking, manufacturing, farmers that all voted for Trump. And they don't care. It's absolutely sickening. It doesn't matter where this would have occurred. Can you imagine it would never occur because we wouldn't have the absolute third world status we are now, it wouldn't have happened if president Trump was in there. But can you imagine if this did happen, we would be all over the place on the ground helping these people and there's nobody there. It is such a disgrace. Well,

Caller: Are Libs Going After Coffeemakers Next?

"I heard something really hilarious this morning on the Fox News feed. And they were saying that now it is a study coming out of Canada. Saying that coffee makers, coffee makers make this big greenhouse footprint that you shouldn't be doing it that way. You should maybe switch to instinct coffee and then they were talking about the pods and out of pods would be nice, but they can get in the environment and kill all sorts of animals. You know, now they're going to go after coffee makers because they couldn't get the ovens. Now it's amazing because I heard this morning from somebody that they did releasing hummers, electric commerce, and it's going to take 7 to ten days to fully charge the batteries on those when you wear them down. Now, you think about the footprint. Okay, how much electricity is it going to take to power up that battery compared to how much electricity is going to use my coffee maker? I mean, this is getting really ridiculous. Yeah, look here, Sean, I'm not surprised by this. The whole point of the left and it's hard for people to get there to wrap their heads around this. But leftist want to make you miserable. I mean, that's just the bottom line. When you look at all these countries, look at communists, look at communist China right now. Those people are miserable. And they are miserable. And you know why? Because the government controls every aspect of their lives.

"This is a transgender school board member. This is at the liberty elementary school district in Arizona. And there's some video posted on the libs of TikTok. And a biological woman is very upset because this transgender board member, a dude, was sure enough walking into the locker room at the local gym and we've got some, we've got some audio on this story. Cut number 7. I am out the gym. In Arizona. Who's undressing in the locker room? Top off. Broth. And publics are in the women's locker room. And he looked at me and he looked at my breasts. And I have called police. No recently, he's used the men's locker room. So he agrees himself that he's a man. I have told the police that I was in the locker room, a man was in there. I was getting undressed. He looked at me. He is a man in the women's locker room. And the response is that this is a touchy sensitive issue in society. Yep, there he goes. Women's locker room. There's the man going into women's locker room. Hope there's no one on dressing in there. Exactly. There's no naked women in there since there's a man in the why isn't anyone mourning the women? Just so everyone knows he's not being arrested. We are at a point where we're catering to society instead of facts. This is alarming when he's rights are being violated. And I'm not going to put up with it. Paul, if you're a female. Why do you use the men's restroom sometimes and the women's restroom sometimes? It's a good question. Yes, politely, like I said. "You know, we have more knowledge about when Jesus Christ was born than Taylor Lorenz. You ever seen her Wikipedia profile? They say she was born anywhere between 1984 to 1987. It's a general range of dates. Whenever I talk, most people don't understand the references when we talk about her on the show, but I always am her age up to the Taylor Lorentz in her mid 50s. Why Are Libs Obsessed With Twitter?

"And let me just be clear here This was their meddling in the 2020 election We already know they interfered with the 2016 election twice They interfered by again pretending to investigate Hillary Clinton's emails But the investigation was the cover up That they were oh yeah we investigated Oh really how many people got immunity in that investigation How transparent were you there Can we see the details of that investigation The first time in history where the FBI director decided outside of the Justice Department that there wasn't enough evidence to bring a crime usually that's the attorney general's decision But remember the attorney general was compromised because she met with Bill Clinton on the tarmac of the airport in Phoenix during the campaign while the investigation was going on so she said yeah I really won't have any part of this decision So Jim Comey made the decision And I mean why could we not trust Jim Comey after all But then they meddled with picking up the false story of the Russian collusion story Then they interfered with Trump's entire presidency frankly By maintaining the Russian collusion hoax leaking information that was false to the media revolving door of information going from people at the FBI and the Justice Department to the media We know that and now we're seeing how they directly interfered with the 2020 election by controlling information If you don't think that control of information is that important to a democracy to function properly at the democratic process for a constitutional republic to function properly then why do you think the left is so concerned about Twitter right now In all it's no big deal Oh sure they were just trying to keep information What they thought was misinformation from being published on Twitter But that doesn't affect an election really If Twitter isn't that if social media companies aren't that important to an election in the free flow of information in our free republic then why do you think they're so out of their minds right now with Elon Musk being in charge of Twitter In some of the changes that he's made it's critically important

Mark Davis: Elon Musk Is Letting the Libs Win by Stepping Down

"I was talking to my pal Mark Davis first thing this morning, Mark, house is terrible, this is awful. This is the he let the libs win and first of all, he's still owns Twitter. I mean, he's stepping down as the head of Twitter. I don't know what that means, but isn't it kind of a beautiful thing to see him respect the will of the people who make up the Twitter community? Isn't that what Twitter is supposed to be all about? That's what he said. It was supposed to be all about when he put a poll up and said, should Trump come back? And Twitter users voted yes. He put Trump back. When he put a poll up saying, should I reinstate the journalist? That I suspended, or we suspended for doxing me and putting my family in harm's way and people said, yeah, put them back, he put them back. So now he's got a poll question. Should I step down as the head of Twitter and Twitter users overwhelmingly said, yes, I expect he will. Is that a bad thing? I think it's kind of, I mean, I'm disappointed. I've enjoyed Twitter lately. It seems freer. It seems more like what it should be. But evidently, he's just deciding to let people decide his fate?

Joe Scarborough Vents Following Musk's Poll to Step Down From Twitter

"So Elon Musk, giving his critics, it seems what they want. Here's the cut 13 Joe Scarborough mocking Elon Musk's Twitter shocker and it is pretty shocking. I mean, he said, should I step down as Twitter? As head of Twitter, yes or no, I'll abide by the results of the decision. Well, the people have spoken overwhelmingly, he's going to step down, I guess. Here was Scarborough this morning on morning Joe. The vast majority of wealth are in blue states, regardless of who's winning elections. And those 70% are the ones that buy the overwhelming majority of Tesla. So if people on the right decide, oh, well, you know, we're going to shut down Disney World. We're going to shut down this. We're going to no you're not. There's a reason why corporations are not do gunners. I'm sorry, it's just when you see BP going out and saying how much they love nature. Whatever. They're not too good. They're worried about their bottom line, right? So it's Coca-Cola or somebody else does something that upsets the far right. You can try to own the libs. They're not doing it because they want to be loved by the libs. They want to make money. And this is what Elon Musk, I can't believe it. He never understand. Look at the data. Your teslas are bought by the limbs. You're trying to own. They don't want them anymore. Ah, so it's all about the Tesla stock. And after this poll, Tesla stock went up about 5% today.

Twitter files from Barry Weiss, where I'm actually going our team is going through them in real time all about staff meetings and Jack Dorsey and vijaya Gotti answering staff questions as to why Trump wasn't banned yet. Okay, so Ben, how red up are you on these recent Twitter files? It's hard to kind of track this while also hosting a show. Anything new or scintillating that has been broken today? I think a lot of this is more of the same. What we see here are the deliberations of Twitter's speech police in the immediate days, 48 hours after January 6th, 2021. And we see more of this sort of thought crime ad libbing here in the way of executives not being able to find something in their terms of service to justify Trump, stretching for incitement or insurrection grounds to try and justify something, which is Barry Weiss, right, we know it's in this latest threat of tweets that we as far as I've gotten, that other world leaders were never subjected to the kind of standard that employees were clamoring for when it came to Trump. And I think it shows you how ad hoc and arbitrary they were here in their censorship. As we've seen in some of the other files and maybe the most revealing thing is the dissent internally from one unnamed Chinese employee who basically says, isn't this kind of what we do in communist countries aren't their problems when it comes to chilling the speech of leaders isn't more speech better than west beach.

"And that's something that you cover. So tell me, what are your uncovering that's going on in our country when it comes to what's essentially been mutilation of our children? So yeah, the last will guys laid us and say that miners are not receiving gender affirming surgery. And when I say gender affirming, I mean, this level necessarily follows the advantage of policies. They never give you the exact context because they don't want you to know what they're referring to. They'll just say gender for me because it sounds really nice and sweet and you're just helping a child. But in actuality, they are chopping off healthy body parts of young kids and the more I'm looking into all of these children's hospitals, the more I'm realizing how common this is. So almost every single hospital that I've looked at so far. And I have quite a few already lined up that I'm looking into and preparing reports on. They're all doing mastectomies on minors. And the world, the wpath guidelines, they just changed their guidelines to actually say that you can do, they want to lower the age for surgeries and for puberty blockers for cross sex hormones. So this is happening. It's happening probably in every single state. And it is, it is, it's so horrifying. And there's, I mean, this has to stop. There's no other way. And I'm going to post every single one that I find. I'm going to post every single line. I'm going to call out every single hospital, and they're going to have to answer for why they are chopping off the genitals and the breasts of healthy kids and suppressing kids puberty, and there's a lot of negative side effects, and they're giving kids cross sex hormones, and they've just been doing this for years. And nobody has been doing anything about it. God bless you for digging into this for exposing the fact that we have this festering wound in our country. I don't know if you saw but we had deep fry on yesterday. And he explained that Canada, Canada, which is ahead of us on this. They're ahead of the curve. They are going out there full on not only is euthanasia being allowed across the country, but they're also going to, I believe, next year, the true government has ever going to do this. They're going to be allowing mature miners to choose medically assisted euthanasia over what they deem anxiety, mental health issues, stress. So they're pushing all of this, the things that you just talked about. They're pushing all that in Canada. But now they're adding the additional element of allowing euthanasia for what they call mature yeah, I mean, there's, I don't think there's such a thing as a mature minor. So a minor can't consent and up until a few years ago, everybody agreed on that. And suddenly they're changing. The left is changing the definitions of everything. And they're changing all these things that were known to be fact. And it's really harming your kids. I mean, the reason that they are criminalizing the use of the word, I'm just going to say it. The word groomer. The reason they're doing this is because and this is the cycle, right? First they say it's not it's not happening. Then they say it's a conspiracy. Then they say, okay, it's happening, but it's a good thing. And then they'll say, okay, it's happening, but you can't call it that because that's a slur, and you get banned if you say that. They're doing that because if your work because of your effectiveness, and I commend you for what you do, continue to post the videos, and if we get banned everywhere else, so guess what? But it's her help defense. It's really important. But no, my keys, my keys for the game. For the series. On the Chicago side, I'm going to the Rebecca Gardner because Rebecca Gardner is, first of all, just had an incredible season as a rookie. Her seasoned debut was in the second game of the season against the liberty. And it was immediate in the first quarter how quick her first step was and she's a player that when Sabrina does have off games, she responds well to pressure when there are people playing physical with her. What she doesn't always respond as well to is someone who's down to say, I'm just going to stay on you all night and I'm going to stick to you. You could be on the far side of the floor. I'm not leaving you alone. I'm picking you up at 94 feet. And I'm just going to be in your ear the entire way up and down the court. And Rebecca Gardner has that kind of motor. So if the sky are going to slow Sabrina down, Rebecca Gardner is going to be a big part of that. And I really hope that we see her on the all rookie team. I've even heard talk of her maybe the second defensive team, and it's just whatever it is, that's high praise for a 32 year old, I believe, 32 year old rookie. And then on New York side, I'm going to go back to marine Johannes because she's a very streaky player. A lot of the conversations that we've had that I've had with sandy brondello, this season, and since marine came over, have just been about keeping her confident, and you kind of see that in her game blog. In her last ten, she's had 5 games that are ten or more points, 12 or more points. And she's also had a couple of games where she had zero points. And you can tell pretty quickly when she gets out there, if she's going to have a good game or a bad game, if she's feeling confident or if she's not. And it's huge when she's on because she can hit you four or 5. The last game of the season 6 threes in a night. But if she doesn't have it, then the team just doesn't have that same kind of fluidity that same kind of dynamic offensive, just there's just no let up when marine is on her game because she just opens up the floor for everybody. You don't know if she's going to shoot. You don't know if she's going to drive. You don't know if she's going to pass. And they're much better for it. So if they can get a couple of consistent performances out of her, that could go a long way towards putting pressure on Chicago because they won't be able to keep their starters off the floor for too long. Final predictions, I already said so I'm a firm believer and I can adjust my predictions at any point until the first game tips just because hey, you know, things change like the betting line changes. But I did earlier on a podcast with Rachel, say I have the sky two O what do you think? I fully, I fully believe that the liberty can still want to think it's a tall task to see them take the series, but give me a prediction here. Well, we talked about this before we started airing, but Daniel Matthias from her hoop stats had a really interesting stat about how the liberty play on weekends. They were just four and 7 on Saturday Sunday games, but zero and 7 on the road and -83 in those 7 losses. And in games that start earlier than 2 p.m. like Saturday's game is supposed to game two as opposed to, the liberty are zero and four and -71 in those four games. So game two is really scary to me. I think for New York to come out and have a chance to bring this back to Brooklyn. Game one on Wednesday night is going to be super, super important. My bias obviously being in the New York market is I want there to be at least a game three because I think with the liberty switching ownership after James Dolan basically threw them away and they were up in Westchester. They lost a lot of fans. They lost a lot of trust in the organization and they've been trying to build back up and they have been throughout last season first with COVID restrictions that were limiting the size of the capacity at Barclays center. But even through this season, we've seen substantial growth. And I think to take that next step, they need to host a playoff game. So for that reason alone, I'm saying I want this to go three. And I've got Chicago pulling it out just because they are the more experienced team they are the defending champions. And there's a reason that they are the two seed and that the liberty are the 7 seed. But again, the New York is a team that can beat somebody on any given night. And I do trust sandy brondello to make adjustments game to game. So I think this will be a series, and I just really hope that it is an exciting one, because it has the potential to be one of the most exciting series we could see not just in this round, but throughout the playoffs, if these teams come out offensively firing. I agree. I mean, maybe a little bit a little bit of a what were you, wait, sorry, I was going to call you out. Someone was tweeting at you today. What was the tweet that they had there coming at your bias, man? Well, yeah, they said I was biased in favor of Chicago because in that article that Danny and I put together, I did say that there should probably be an asterisk on the liberty win against the sky because of the travel difficulties they'd had. And I was told that I was biased towards Chicago, which is the first time that you got that. No, it's the first time I always worry. Maybe I over correct because I don't want to be to New York biased, but no, I hear myself talking I'm like, yep, that guy only cares about the liberty of no one else. So sure, I'll take the Chicago bias if that makes people feel better. I love it. Well, we've all been there. Miles. You'll be hopping on for a first stream or two, right? Yeah, absolutely. Well, if you're there. Like any game. How could all of our listeners not be there? Be there or miles will never forgive you. There, I said it.

"Showing that energy off the opening tip, that's what I think could help the liberty steal a game or maybe even potentially steal the series. I love the insight, I love the takes, I think it's going to be a fun suit. One of the more there's a few, I think, well, let's just be the Phoenix. Vegas series doesn't seem like it's going to be the most exciting of series. But I think this one really could be a highlight series that's going to have a lot of ridiculous clips, a lot of ridiculous takes, and just great. Do you remember last playoffs? How much the excitement, the fun, oh wait, wait, real quick. Do you agree with me on my 5 minute take on the liberty, or is it just outlandish? Is it one of my crazy takes or is maybe they're a little bit something there? I definitely agree with it, but I think you were probably a little bit kinder about it than I would have been. I think that the liberty have given away a lot more games than they've worked back into in fourth quarters, and that has gotten better as the seasons progressed. But there are a whole bunch of games this season where they were up going into those last 5, a whole lot more than they were up going into those last 5 and coughed up a lead than there were games that they were down going into the last 5 and were able to pull it out. So yeah, while Chicago lets teams hang around, the liberty do that as well. Just without the same level of consistency that Chicago has shown in pulling out those clutch moment victories. I like it and I like that you didn't tell me I'm crazy. Key players for each team, I'm going to say the possibly the two. Everyone knows about Candice Parker, right? Everyone knows about Kalia copper. Everyone knows about wanderlei. The Chicago team is ridiculous in a plethora of ways, but I think MME Simon is kind of the glue. When they need, she's not going to be making the SportsCenter top ten real, right? But what she is going to do is consistency and fill in the gaps when Candace is struggling. Which, by the way, talk about a resurgence of a career since leaving LA. But she still does struggle at times. Courtney van der sloot struggles at times also, you know, teams zone in on her. Ellie quigley, this has not been her finest of years, even though all hail the three point queen. But Emma nisman, I feel like, has really slipped under the radar and honestly, I'll just say it. She's looking to take a second Finals MVP award. So for me, in this series, and possibly for the whole playoffs, it's Emma misen, that's my key player. And then for New York, it's another player we really haven't talked about. Natasha Howard. There's a lot that I'm sure you could give insight into into what's been working for Howard this season, what hasn't been. I know the injuries. But I feel like the matchup style is going to require a lot Natasha Howard is an elite defender at times. Yes, she struggled at times. But Natasha Howard can be somebody who truly can be The X Factor because, you know, off air we talked about Han and could she be an impact player for the whole series. I think we questioned that. But I think we both also kind of agreed that Han could be an impact player in a very key special player for a game, but I feel like they're going to need the same the same things that I talked about with Emma. They're going to need from Natasha Howard less of a burden on her, but when you look at some of the players on Chicago that people in New York are going to have to step up defensively, I think Natasha Howard has to be up there if not the number one, if not, the number two player on that list who are in New York three players and feel free to tell me I'm wrong crazier or in between. Well, first of all, I just wanted to say that you were spot on with Tasha. She is, she is their glue she is their defensive anchor. And whenever she's off the floor, you can see a really stark contrast from when she's on because it's not her on ball defense that's most impressive, but it's her instincts off the ball. She's always in the right place. When they need to because the liberty R and undersized team, when they need to bring a double team, tosh does that better than anyone else, she times it. She's got very quick hands, and she's just instinctual in a way that a lot of players aren't. They have some really good on ball defenders, but if they're getting beat at the point of attack and when you're looking at a team that's got Courtney van der sloot who can keep the ball on a string forever, or you've got Cleo copper, who is so good at playing downhill. There are going to be lots of moments where the liberty will get beat on the perimeter. And Natasha Howard is absolutely an X Factor in protecting the rim or in stepping up and just forcing the next action.

"Amazing written content and sometimes the amazing TikTok content miles. New York liberty, Chicago sky, the defending champions versus a Steph Dawson revenge team. I don't know what's going on, man. What's going on? Great to talk to you REA. Yeah, it's a very, very exciting series. Steph dolson has been somewhat in this position before the sky where what the seed last year going into the postseason and then made a run. But it's a very, very different team than the one she's on right now. And she's going up against now the defending champions, her former teammates in Chicago. It's it has the makings for E 60 or 30 for 30, depending on who wins, either way it does, right? Because this is a story of a Chicago sky team that going into last year's playoffs as you mentioned before they make that epic championship run. They were a 500 team. And I think it really proved the idea that any given game. It's not any given Sunday. But at any given game, anybody can run away. And we always knew they had that strength. This year, they've just been on top of cloud 9 really running it. Are we going to see a repeat for the Chicago sky or are we going to see a different team with maybe some similarities in the regular season, push through and beat the top seeded team? I'm curious for you as you, you know, we know what happened in the regular season. I'm sure you can recap that a little bit. The sky beat the liberty three to one, correct me if I'm wrong at any point, obviously. There we go. The simple stats are always the hardest, right? Talk to me about what you saw in the regular season when these two teams match up, kind of, what are the weaknesses, what do you see by the style of play? What do you think the weaknesses are? Just give me an overview and I'll kind of jump in and pick apart whatever you say. So the first matchup between the liberty and the sky was one of the worst games for New York all season. It was the second game of the season. They had just come off of a shocking, upset of the Connecticut sun opening night. And then the sky just demolished them. It was 83 to 50, I think, was the final score, and it wasn't even that close. It was a game where the only double figure score for New York was honshu, who had ten points off the bench. And what was at that point, it was surprising to see Han on the floor. But the other three games were much, much closer. There was one that the liberty probably should have won where sloot hit a game winning three with a second left off a really nice pass. But some good post defense. And then there was a game that was a two point game until the last minute and a half and salute again, hit a big three to put Chicago up 5 and kind of pull that game away that ended up being an 8 point Chicago win after some free throws. And then there was a game where the liberty one and the liberty won by three, but it was a game that they almost very, very nearly gave away and it was against the Chicago team that was had gotten there at noon for a 7 o'clock game that night because they had played the day before and got stuck in the airport overnight. And I said that Courtney van der sloot was instrumental in winning those other games, sloop did not play in that game as well. So you could talk about how much that affected things, but nigella, who was the liberty's lone all star in 2021, missed all, but that first terrible game, which was her season debut right before she got surgery. And missed a majority of the season. So for those match ups, you look at the one that was a blowout, but the other three have been really closely contested games. And to their credit, the liberty they've showed that they could beat any team. They could also lose to any team, but they did have a win against Chicago. They had a couple of wins against Connecticut. They were able to beat Vegas once. They beat the mystics twice. So they have shown the ability on any given day to be able to hang with some of the tougher teams in the league. I would say that they're almost like I've said this all season long. The liberty are an interesting team because it doesn't matter for the most part. And I would put my money down on this, even though we just talked about a blowout, but it doesn't matter what happens in the first three quarters around the 5 minute mark in 95% of the liberty games that I've watched. Something's going to happen. Either the liberty have a large lead and they're going to blow it and it becomes a game, or the other team has large lead, and the liberty make a crazy run and all of a sudden it's a super interesting game. Now, sometimes they bring it within ten and that lead does not disappear. Sometimes it goes down to the last minute or last second play. But on the flip side of the Chicago sky are a similar team in the sense that they just allow teams to stick around while they've had a great season, and they, for a very long time, were top of the totem pole, you know, the one thing was it was more about them being clutch than playing perfect games. And, you know, there's the old cliche of great teams, find ways to win. It doesn't matter how you just find a way to win. But there is something to be said of like, you don't want every game to come down to the last possession. You don't want to have to win, you know, ten of your X amount of games by a lapse defensive play or like, you know what I mean? Just a lucky bounce, but on the other hand, the liberty are that type of team

"And you know who believes the president of the United States has to be careful with his words, Joe Biden, because he campaigned on that very issue regularly throughout 2019 and 2020 when he was running for president. You all know the words of a president matters. They can move markets, they can send our brave women and men to war, they can bring peace, they can calm a nation in turmoil. Biden also gave the Russians an instant opportunity here, of course, for propaganda, because now they can simply say, hey, all this is about is that the United States wants to displace Vladimir Putin. In fact, the Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry peskov responded to Biden's comment saying this is not up to Biden. This is up to the Russian people. And of course he handed his political opponents here at home, an easy opportunity to take a whack at him. Here was Republican Jim risch, senator from Idaho on CNN yesterday. This administration has done everything they can to stop escalating. There's not a whole lot more you can do to escalate than to call for regime change and whoever wrote it did a good job, hit the hit the right notes and then to have that at the end of the sour note at the end was unfortunate to say the least. And the backdrop in which all of this is happening is that it's probably the worst time for the president to have created his own headache like this. According to a brand new NBC News poll just out yesterday, 70% of Americans in that poll said they had just some were very little confidence in Joe Biden's ability to deal with Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The poll was conducted before last week's trip that Biden took to Europe 8 in ten Americans in the polar worried that the war is going to increase gas prices and possibly involve nuclear weapons. And the poll found Biden at his overall lowest approval rating in the history of his presidency in that poll, standing at 40% approval. So this is not the time where Joe Biden can be making mistakes like this that both have potential repercussions around the world where clearly our allies are concerned, and then of course there's just the need for the president to be as disciplined as possible, which his political opponents will be making hay of here, all at precisely a moment that Joe Biden needs to be playing error free ball. That's it for today's political briefing..

"Hey everyone, I'm David challenging, the CNN political director, this is the CNN political briefing. Here's what you need to know in politics for Monday, march 28th. For God's sake, this man can not remain power. 9 words from President Biden in Poland on Saturday, they have reverberated around the world and have the president still playing cleanup accurate home today. So those 9 words that you just heard at the top of the podcast from President Biden for God's sake, this man can not remain in power, referring, of course, to president Vladimir Putin of Russia, it was an ad lib. At the end of his major address, dealing with the urgent battle between democracy and autocracy and quite frankly for the history books, this moment in time with this unprovoked war that we see Putin engaged in in Ukraine. And his speech got really high marks right until he decided to drift off course and add this ad lib that had everyone scratching their heads, including The White House aides who apparently immediately scrambled understanding that the president's off the cuff remarks had perhaps suggested a policy shift towards regime change. And yet throughout this entire process, we've been assured by the president and all of his top deputies, as well as, of course, NATO allies, European allies. That regime change is not part of the equation here. So, as I said, The White House scrambled to try to clean this up. They said that, well, the president wasn't calling for regime change exactly just that Biden was saying Putin can't be allowed to exercise power over neighboring nations. And then the president was asked about it himself yesterday coming out of church back here in Washington, D.C. if indeed he was calling for regime change, he had a one word answer. No. As Monday got underway, The White House and the president clearly didn't believe that they had yet successfully dealt with this 9 word ad lib and put this issue behind them yet, and that is why the president added to his schedule today, an opportunity to take questions from the press so that he could then have the opportunity to explain exactly why he used those words, why he inserted them and what he meant by them. Number one, I'm not walking anything back. I was expressing the more outrage I felt towards this man. I wasn't articulating a policy change. Other governments have suggested that this is a problem I'm escalating things. Now, the last thing I want to do is engage in a land war or a nuclear war with Russia. That's not part of it. I was expressing my outrage as the behavior of this man. People like this shouldn't be rule in countries, but they do. The fact they do, but it doesn't mean I can't express my outrage about it. And the idea that he is going to do something outrageous because I called him for what he was and what he's doing, I think is just not rational. Now you have to remember, this comes as every day the president is trying to execute a calibration between exerting as much pressure as possible on Putin to draw this war to a close in Ukraine. But the calibration he's performing every day is to exert that pressure without escalating the conflict without igniting World War three without giving Putin reason to ratchet up his actions at all, whether against the Ukrainians or broadening this conflict into NATO territory or a direct confrontation with the United States. So when he ad libs, 9 words at the end of a speech, and it causes this immediate uproar, you know that The White House clearly believes that balance got thrown out of whack. Now some may look at this and say, Vladimir Putin is executing a war and indiscriminately killing a nation of people who in their right mind thinks he should stay in power. Totally valid question. But if it is not the state of gold, the United States to remove him from power, then the president of the United States has to be careful with his words..

"So a long time ago, I actually graduated from the seminary. And I have spent 30 years studying world religions. That's kind of my hobby. I know that's kind of an odd hobby. So during COVID, during 2020, the doctor's office said I was working for, was not considered essential here in the states. And it's considered holistic or, you know, you can choose to go there. So it wasn't considered essential. So they actually had to close during COVID. So during COVID, I actually went to hospital and I enrolled in hospital chaplaincy school. And I spent all of 2020 in the hospitals working with people and it was great because I was able to use my therapy background and counseling background, but I was also able to use my religious studies. Now, the funny thing is, is I was the only C school that doesn't have a religion. I was considered what they say multi denominational. So anybody who considered themselves an atheist or wiccan or spiritual but not religious or any of those, they will refer to me. And I was able to go in and talk to everyone without having to worry that any sort of religion was getting between me and them. And just be there as an extra form of support. And it was a true blessing to be able to be there during COVID and there was I saw a lot of things and it was sad, but I'm very grateful. I was able to serve in the way I was for that year. Excellent. Was hidden a therapy always been your dream job or have you dreamt of doing other jobs in the past? Well, I believe it or not, it's a child I wanted to be an actor as well. So but I do think it's funny because in my chair and my hypnotherapy chair, there are scripts, but there is a lot of ad libbing because you never know where a hypnotherapy session is going to head. So I loved the theater as well. I come from a theater family. And I wanted to do that, but I actually wanted to do the set design and the lighting. I was blessed with the rotten voice. Everyone else in my family was able to have this beautiful voice and sing and dance and that wasn't me. So I wanted to be on the backside of theater. So I was raised with that, but honestly, what I do now, where I speak to groups, I also guide meditation. I've taught meditation for three years. And so all of that theater background that I was given as a child and given as an adolescent, I utilized it every day in what I do now, it's just makes me far more comfortable to ad lib to be there for people and to have that intimate relationship as presenter and audience. Okay. Great, great. Now, where do you see yourself 20 years from now? Well, I know you can't see me, but I'm pretty old. So I hope I'm sitting on a beach somewhere in retired, but the one beautiful thing about hypnotherapy is there are hypnotherapists out there that are 90 years old and still working. So in 20 years, I hope to see myself with a margarita on a beach somewhere, but I will never stop.

"It's merriam Webster's word of the day for November 4th. I haven't really woken up. Oh, until I've had my McDonald's breakfast deal and I know this is true because before breakfast, I put my phone in the refrigerator and couldn't find the keys that were already in my hand. Nothing gets the morning going like the first sip of it iced coffee. Get any size in any flavor for 99 cents until 11 a.m.. Price and participation may vary. McDonald's, I'm loving it. Today's word is ad lib spelled a D hyphen ad lib is a verb. That means to improvise or to deliver spontaneously. Here's the word used, in a sentence from ESPN. Heineke, ad libbed a 30 yard touchdown pass to JD mckissick. Rallying the Washington football team to a 34 to 30 victory. The word ad lib is a shortening of the Latin term ad libitum, which means in accordance with one's wishes. In the past ad libitum anglicized as ad libitum was used to refer to any activity where the performer was free to do whatever they liked for as long as desired, whether the activity be drawing, working math problems, talking, playing music, or acting..

"A tradition that stretches back over hundred years the beginning of last century. It's called the waiters race. Dozens of talented servers gathering paris wearing their uniforms to run for the streets while on one hand carrying a tray with a full bottle and a few empty glasses if they tip over the bottle or if they drop a glass they are out of the race. This is what. I keep thinking when i think of democratic leaders in congress right now trying to raise the finish line with the entire domestic legislative agenda balanced on one bill the democrats along with president. Joe biden have a very ambitious domestic policy agenda. And because they don't at this point have fifty votes to overcome the filibuster in the senate. They have to run the whole process through reconciliation which is a complicated process. But essentially it's a way the use one massive bill with a simple majority vote to bypass the filibuster and pass democratic priority priorities and get them biden's desk but it does have limitations certain conditions on what they can and cannot pass. We saw that yesterday. When the senate parliamentarian dealt a blow to democrats and ruled that immigration reform that is providing a pathway that legal status for ten eleven million folks who are here without documentation that cannot be included in the reconciliation package. Because it's well. It's a little unclear. It's budgetary impact is big enough. Even though it's got a big budgetary impact wall democrats contend with that they still have to keep the government open. That's gotta pass the gotta figure out what they're doing with the debt ceiling remember that one and they have to make sure they get a win biden's infrastructure bill so with democrats trying to juggle multiple tasks with little or no room for error. We figured it'd be good idea to talk to someone in leadership congressman hakim. Jeffries of new york is the chair of the house democratic caucus and he joins me. Now i let me start on the on the senate parliamentarian ruling yesterday which makes a pathway to citizenship. Can't go into the reconciliation bill. Lots of folks. Chuck schumer expressed frustration. Anger disappointment does this mean it's it's done. It's not happening well. We have a broken immigration system. Needs to be fixed. The preference.

"Extension of things last fall. Researchers pew asked republicans if they thought the us had controlled the pandemic as much as possible and whether the whole thing had been overblown the survey showed that republicans who rely on fox news. Talk radio for their information or much. More likely to say yes. The pandemic was controlled as much as could be and yes. The whole thing was overblown. So what you're seeing is the people who consume this conservative media who are listening to talk radio from the beginning of the pandemic have been kinda skeptical that people are making this into too big of a deal and our alarmist about it so it's a natural extension of that now the vaccines for them to say. Well you know the people telling us that you must get this vaccine or trying to force this on us like it makes sense that the bristling that. Why don't these conservative hosts have more room to say something like. Hey this experiment with not getting vaccinated. It does not seem to be working for us. it's a good question And i'm not sure that there's an easy answer. I think so much of it. Is this robust relationship. This friendship between host and listener and for people who don't listen. It's kind of odd to think about it that way. But you've got people who are out there driving truck or in a shop or you know doing farmwork. You name the task where they're listening for three hours a day to the same person for years on end you know when rush limbaugh died. His wife took some calls a few times and people were calling up crying. They were saying you know. Feels like i lost a member of my family to I'm morning with you. Because they had formed such a deep bond with him and because that bond is the key to people tuning in but also realistically to the advertising. That's at the base of talkradio right. You know the one thing. That house don't want do is damage that relationship because of course if they do in their fewer people tuned in or there's less trust there then they lose advertisers. They lose revenue at the end of the day. This is all business and their audience is deeply skeptical of the vaccine. And they know that if you know if you're one host and you say well you know this isn't working for us that your audience is probably getting other conservative media in their media dis whether it's fox news whether it's breitbart were you you name the site. They're going to change the dial they're going to leave right right. I mean we. We saw this in two thousand sixteen with donald trump. Mary where you had hosts who they were anti-trump they were rock rib conservatives who some of them were institutions at the markets. And they were saying you know this. This guy's not one of us. He's not a conservative. And by the way he's morally bankrupted and all this other stuff and they get callers. Who said you know what happened to you. When did you sell out. And these house ended up getting threatened. Some of them lost their jobs. And what would it comes down to. Is they realize. After a while that you know they. The audience drives this as much as the host for as much as i think those on the left kind of see conservative media as hosts who are kind of puppeteers dragging their audience around. It's kind of the other way around of hosts are afraid to lose the audience. They subscribe they say to the audience. We share set of values. We share a set of principles. And i'm going to apply those principles to issues. You may not have time you've heard about. I'm going to bring things to your tension but at the end of the day. They don't want to go where the audience doesn't wanna go right. The really scale guys do it in a in in what feels like just a straight up way. I remember watching. Sean hannity go. Hey without you guys. i don't have a job. You make this possible. So i'm not trying to talk down to you or you know he he. He said it that way while he was talking about whether he thought people should get the vaccine for over a year. Now i have been warning my viewers. You make my career possible. I want every american liberal conservative republican democrat. I want you to be healthy. I said to take it seriously to do. your own. research is a ton of it right on the tip of your fingers on your own fall. Yeah i mean that. That's definitely a way to do it. But hannity is a guy who he's done he's kind of inched up towards the line of like saying get vaccinated and then there's usually some blowback and he kind of pulls back as well. I never said that you know that. That's just the media's liberal media. I actually just said you know. Get information about it or something like you'll he pulls away So they're very sensitive to crossing the audience because if you're somebody who listens to a lot of conservative talk radio or consumes a lot of conservative media you'd think kobe's been overblown you think that the vaccine. You're very skeptical. The vaccine you think mask requirements are totalitarian And there's a lot of doubt about it an anger about it and you even see down to the way. These house are sort of applying to their own lives In different ways. Yeah i wanted to talk about that. You know who helped me understand the way. The vaccine issue in particular is framed and conservative media was listening to eric. Erikson he. has i think ranted about anti vaxxers. This is the most infuriating part of the conversation about cova. Is you have the people who are willfully disrupt spreading disinformation about the vaccine trying to undermine the vaccine but on a recent show i listen to. He also insisted that getting a vaccine is a personal decision. But at your choice the only be belittled for your medical choice and he said it kind of solemnly and it was this ginger handling of the listener as if he was worried about angering someone you know as if he were trying to telegraph. No one's threatening your agency or your power here. Yeah i mean this is also the other part of the two step here which is yes. Ericsson has been overwhelmingly pro vaccine. But what does he say in there. He does not say go out and get the vaccine Or they and he does not say we should have vaccine mandates. So there's a very careful line even for people who are trying to encourage their audience that this is good and that this is something that could save their lives that they don't want to encroach upon you know the the audience and they don't want to say you have to do this. They want to say you should think about doing this. This is a wise decision because there is that kind of anti authoritarian streak. It's it's not even anti authoritarian. It's anti authority. Yes that is a better way of putting it that i like that wording better it's anti authorities anti somebody telling you the you have to do something It's it's anti this being a requirement to be a part of life so it's they're very very cautious and careful because they know where their audiences and they know where the culture of what they're doing is and they know that kind of it's part of their brand that their brand is that they're gonna fight back against exactly this which is liberal elites trying to force things and force their way of life and their way of thinking down your throat. That is that the ethos of talk radio is when those people say you have to do this. The host says oh no we. Don't we're gonna take a quick break here with brian. Rose mauled in a minute. "The song was released in june. It turns the beatles song taxman about a cheery sadistic administrator taxes. Everything into vacs man about a cheery sadistic administrator who vaccinates everyone. This is what talk radio does they take these songs. And they re purpose them for political messages and things and so the vaccine man is just like fits perfectly with what you'd expect vacs man was written and recorded by philvalentine a nashville institution and beloved talk. Radio hosts since the nineteen ninety s. He was part of this post rush. Limbaugh boom in right wing radio. Brian told me. These hosts will proudly call themselves mini rushes. It is phil valentine. Show right here on the cusp of independence day weekend. Valentine didn't deny the severity of the pandemic really. He just didn't think anyone should get pressured to get the vaccine on his show he would spotlight alternative treatments for cove in nineteen even as he acknowledged it was ubiquitous. Only had two kids who have had this and then my third son is now in quarantine because he was around. Somebody said he's probably gonna end up with this thing. I may end up with this thing in every local market. There's kind of a community institution. Someone like phil. Valentine who people have been listening to for decades who's built a really big relationship with their audience where they're kind of like friends with each other. They spent hours and hours together of time and they're really really influential. And this guy was very vocally. Anti vaccine seen in leading other people in that direction in july philvalentine announced that he had tested positive for the virus had gotten to him just weeks. After he released the batsmen parody and a couple of days into his illness he was still mocking the inoculated. He tweeted about a recall. On johnson. And johnson sunscreen and quipped But i'm sure they're vaccine is perfectly safe. Don't worry about it. But valentine's case of cova got more severe and apparently started changing his mind about vaccines his brother mark. Valentine explained on cnn what he recognizes now that is not getting vaccination has probably caused a bunch of people not to get vaccinated and that he regrets regrets not being more pro vaccination and more vehemently advocating that position and then on august twenty first breaking news. Tennessee radio host phil. Valentine has passed away after a battle with cove at nineteen. He was sixty one. It's a tragedy and it's upsetting to people in part because it seems preventable. Brian resin walled noted valentine's passing because it was part of a trend. Philvalentine was the third conservative talk show host to die from cove in nineteen just in the month of august another conservative radio host died a week later. All of these guys had been dismissive of the corona virus vaccines. i think. This is sort of something that people who are pro vaccine are infuriated or frustrated with the fact that this vaccine could save people's lives and people are dying needlessly and golic philvalentine becomes kind of the poster child for that today on the show. You've heard the phrase dying on the libs why are conservative media personalities. Doing it bryan rosenfeld. Says they're in a contract with an audience. That doesn't want anything else. I'm mary wilson filling in for mary harris. This is what next keep listening support for this podcast comes from. Td ameritrade there is no roi on tm. I that's why. Td ameritrade created a learning experience. That will actually learn with you. Curated from their vast library of exclusive content it customizes to fit your investing goals interests and needs. So you get exactly the information you need and none of the information you don't get started at. Td ameritrade dot com slash education. That's td ameritrade dot com slash education last week. Another contrarian voice announced that he had gotten cova joe rogan the podcasting giant and he had also held the vaccine at arm's length. Why does this keep happening. Well i think it's a byproduct of the culture of conservative media and i have discussed. Rogan is kind of the next frontier of conservative media. In part because conservative media is not know we think about it as people screaming about. Joe biden Or or screaming. About barack obama or you know nancy pelosi national politics. Dc politics but in reality what good conservative media is is. It sounds a lot like the conversation around a dinner table in a conservative family or You know for the the more energetic hosts it might sound like the conversation in a neighborhood bar in a conservative neighborhood. after the there's been some consumption as in it's conversational. There's no fact checker. That's right often times when guys get called out for spreading misinformation. They'll say well no. I'm an entertainer home not journalists or i'm a talk show host. I'm not journalists like my. My job is to be entertaining. it's to hold an audience. You have an interesting conversation. So that that's sort of how they go about it but you know they talk about things from this kind of cultural perspective and realistically the enemy i i like to portray conservative media as a soap opera. It's a soap opera geared towards men and that means there have to be heroes and villains right and the number one hero. in conservative media is the host. The host is is the guy who's gonna defend your values who's gonna fight for you Against people who scorn you. Who looked. they're you know they're sneering at you. They're looking down on you and they're deriding you and your values they think you're a rupe that's kind of the the setup and who are those villains well in a lot of cases they come from what talk radio has long called the liberal establishment and that is the democratic party. It's the mainstream media. It is universities and bastions of intellectualism. It is hollywood in short. It's what they view as like cultural leads people from the two coasts who kind of sneer at the heartland and look down on it and that matters for the case of covert nineteen because who was telling people to get vaccinated right. It's the government it is medical authorities people you know at a in bethesda it's people the cdc. It's people you know. They're highly educated elites and so it's kind of his natural that they would be asking questions or or raising doubts about cove in nineteen. What the authorities are saying because it fits seamlessly with what this medium has done for thirty years. It's just.

We want freedom and liberty for all. We don't want racism taught in our schools. Joy does joy realizes. Racism works for them in the school. So now they're winning against critical race. Theory watch her meltdown here with this. This little similarities. Etre check this out joy reid but begin to read out tonight with the insidious underbelly of the g. q. P. culture war right now in the summer before the next round of elections democrats across the country are preparing to run as they would normally run whether they realize it or not. They are running headlong into a cultural wood chipper because republicans aren't running an election. They're waging an all out war for power that increasingly is based on in steeped in the trump colt and even white nationalism and no matter how reckless and dangerous that is they're doing it believing it will move white voters you get it. You see the kafka trap again. What's the kafka trap kafka trap. Is someone accuses. You of something ridiculous. You defending yourself is evidence to them. You're guilty because you're defending yourself. If you weren't kill you wouldn't you're guilty. You're a matter of fact you defending yourself as evidence of more guilt by the degree to which you defend yourself the kafka trap you see what she does there. So if you're if you object to being taught about white privilege and the white oppressor collective guilt if you object to that. You're even more of a white supremacist. "A quick question joe and i covered spy. How long three years right. How many journalists you think spoke to christopher steele who was an actual foreign spy. I'm sure they were all spied on too. I of course they weren't. Christopher steele was producing information they felt was damaging to president trump. So again showing. These people have no principles. They are tyrant totalitarians. Get away from them as fast as you can as my father used to say run. Don't walk violence is right around the corner for these people. And they'll justify that to jr here with antifa blm. But i'm telling you this is going to get worse. You cannot change these people. They are sick people here. Here's another one. Here's his gavin coble. This guy's really. He thinks he's a real genius essay. It's common practice to monitor communications of adversaries. Especially when that communication comes from within the united states this is entirely legitimate and legal again. A moron who has no comprehension of basic constitutional facts at all and is more than happy to advertise imbecilities. And he's talking about jd vance because this stork want full let me catering to the most reactionary vote possible while precisely while tweeting out the dumbest most reactionary thing possible. It totally misreads doesn't understand the constitutional. He doesn't care. These people are totalitarian tyrants. Run away from them as soon as you can. They are an existential threat to your freedom or liberty. I am not kidding. It's not a joke. It's not cutesy time anymore. All right i got a lot more coming up. Including trump's fight with big tech and that's not real either. Apparently censorship is in real just as trump. I mean he can tell you on his twitter account. That's right it doesn't exist because they took it down but don't worry. Censorship isn't real folks. Listen i work out a lot. Is you know joy working. It's very hot in florida in the summer. So i've had to make liquid staple. I have i take it every morning. Sometimes i work out in the morning sometimes in the afternoon the afternoons really hot.
