"And what I love to do is sit especially with a newer coach and just basically tell her or tell him like look this is probably not as big of a deal as you think it is, but because it's money and because it's accounting and there's taxes and you feel like there's a lot of technical aspects to this you're intimidated by it. You probably think it's a much bigger deal than it actually is. So, let's see You are service here that sets it up and runs from day one before you think you even need it because most you probably experienced this with your own clients, but lots of coaches will come to me later and say oh I didn't think was I didn't think was supposed to even talk to you and so I was making six figures or more. Yeah, and I always say look if we can get you when you're making even hundreds of dollars get things set up then not only will you skip all the Lost sleep. But you'll actually make more money. Yeah. Yeah, because you'll have such Clarity and that Clarity will give you confidence in that confidence will inspire to go take bigger action than you might otherwise have taken. Yeah so long that is I mean, don't we're not just here to talk about list of the books of course, but I sat let's do the books up because of my enthusiasm for giving newer coaches and accessible entry point into them with their money where they can come and get support with no, shame. No blame. judgment just like we're here to help you. Yeah at a price that is like, you know, it's like the same as as amazing what they pay off their email provided right? So hundred percent a hundred percent and and also in a mean you're the expert here, but I would think mean have my own view like I grew up in a trailer park immigrant parents hardest workers ever. Love my parents. They taught me work ethic and getting it done at all costs which served me until I no longer serve me and then I was just micromanaging psycho that had to do everything all of the time and it didn't change and still learning how to slowly let go and think as a chess player not a Checkers player, but then I deal with like everyone's had such a different upbringing and relationship with money that I mean, it's an interesting topic. I love talking about it nowadays, but maybe even a year or two years ago. I kind of like didn't enjoy talking about it. I didn't enjoy talking about what I made or just money in general. I just felt it kind of, you know, I I make excuses. I don't do this for the money. I don't really care about the money until I realize that well sales. How long is the reason I'm in business because it feels my business and then I'm able to serve and help in create all this cool stuff. So let's just briefly chat about that only cuz you probably seen all walks of life people who grew up with money who may be dead. Lun didn't care and threw it away people who maybe grew up with it and then going through a tough year and they valued, you know, they saw themselves as important and when they lost the money maybe they weren't important. I don't know probably all this off of what are some of the biggest patterns you see and maybe you tell someone who's who's who feels kind of icky when the topic of money comes up. Hmm, the most wage if I were trying to zoom out and look at something kind of holistically and say what what patterns do I see across all personality types the the sad or maybe the least productive thing. I see is people trying to use money to fill a hole And that whole can be different for all of us. So somebody might grow up with they might grow up with money and then they're trying to use the money from their business to fill a hole in their self esteem because well, that was my mom's money. That was my dad's money. I want my own money. Well, why well because I want to be my own person. So they're the whole trying to fill is I want to be my own person and they're trying to use money do that. But money is just not very good at that job. Somebody might grow up really poor and say money is safety because I grew up with no money and I felt insecure I felt uncertain about things. So the thoughts are trying to fill is safety and certainty money. I want to recognize my own privilege because I there are people who they do have sort of a level of uncertainty because of a lack of money off, but for many many of us who are in our businesses, We don't really we're not really that uncertain or that unsafe. So money isn't that great for isn't isn't a great tool for helping us feel safe and secure because I've been amazed and watching business owners, even when they're earning seven figures they can feel as uncertain and unsafe as they did when they had a hundred bucks. Hm and the lesson for me is that the money doesn't really create the sense of security their safety that has to come from somewhere else. Yes. So that's a pattern. I see over as people trying to get money do a job that it's actually just not very good at doing. Yeah. Yeah. I was kind of sharing earlier and I'm I had a hard time admitting this and now I'm just like what.

Pokemon Sword and Shield: First Impressions
"Topic for this week is definitely pokemon sort and shields shield. This is the eighth generation of POK. Mon Thank you thank you Casey. You reviewed the game. And you gave it a whopping ping nine point three for amazing so I kind of want to start by Kind of outlining. Casey has done the review. Jan has been working on the guide. Jonathan Loves Pok Mon just very excited in his followed the game up to release and is really looking forward to playing. And I am here because somebody needed to host the show Act so without further ADO. Let's dive right in first of all what. What do you want to say just sort of from the outset about the game? Like what do people the uninitiated needed need to know about pokemon sword and shield. Okay Okay give a very brief overview. I have more reviews more than four thousand words long. The video view review is about thirteen hundred words. Long said a lot about this game and there is still room for me to say more about this game but I figured I should stop writing at some point but overall there there are a few very small minor problems with the game that don't affect your overall or at least mine. In Janet's overall enjoyment of it overall degree really enjoyed a play. I think the change in Redmond counters is the biggest factor into by. I love this game so much that change. Just I'm getting really thrown off by the echo in the back of that maybe take off my hut counters. No my thought my thought on this. I think that's why he gave. It's such a high score is because of that one change but also because the amount of POK MON is really substantially frontloaded in the first couple of hours of the game. You breach the wild area in the first two hours and then every day. The pokemon in these micro areas which are immediately opened up for you change and if you went into a pokemon on into the grass you can catch it. There are going to be some POK MON in between the grass or above the grass. That might be too strong for you until you get enough. Jim Battle Enough Jim Badges but otherwise you can catch them so by the time I got the first time I had like twenty five Pokemon to choose from which usually doesn't happen and I was excited about all of my choices and I had a hard hard time choosing just six to take with me. Sure there's so much you really does I think. What are you guys want to know? There's so much right. I went through kind of picked out some of the The the points that I thought really struck me from your review and also just some of the questions that I had about the game And ultimately you know I've been talking about how I'm probably going to pass on this this game because not because of any controversy or anything but just because like I'm not super interested interested in another forty to fifty our game before the end of the year. Yeah I think that like this might be a game that I go back to in a lull but in the grand scheme of things like I kind of want to focus on other stuff and I've always been a very casual pokemon fan so I urge you to convince me that this is a game that I put and I will start by talking about the first thing that struck me that is like supremely interesting one of my big turn offs of like not just pokemon but a lot of Nintendo Games in general is the fact that there's less hand holding in the way that they're handling tutorials in the game. So can you start off by talking a little bit about that that aspect of it that this is a honestly kind of incredible and it's kind of dynamic in the way it handles tutorials so sometimes when you get to a point in the game for example you get to the professor and she asked Oh you you know all about pokemon right and they let you answer yes or no basically and if you say yes she's like okay cool and then that's it which is a super rare because a lot of times is in games. That answer doesn't matter in games that are in choice driven often times when the players given a choice. It's doesn't change very much what the MPC responds with they. Still we'll give you the same information but all that's kind of wiped away in this Pokemon game which is great because if you WanNa know that information you can click into it and just answer honestly but if you don't then then you don't and like one of my favorite things that even remarked on Back when I previewed the game before case he did the review is that you can catch POK mon before being taught how to catch a pokemon which has never never happened in a pokemon game before. So there's no longer the whole. Oh let's show you how to catch pokemon they cut to someone doing it explaining all the steps and for people that have played not even ought necessarily all the puck among games but pretty much any of them. It's always like okay here we go. It's the same thing like everyone already knows it. So having that from the get Geico really made me feel like Oh this is going to be a a little bit of a new take on the formula. That's been established doesn't react dynamically like if you go out and and catch a pokemon. Oh come on. Before the POK MON tutorial session. They just like sort of omit that portion. Do they react to the way like. Oh you've already caught pokemon like we don't need to spend the time doing this. It does amazing the characters will still be in there and the route waiting for you but then comment and then just let you go on your way without showing the catching pokemon catching catching cut scene. That they usually show still. Although like I guess story set up he's still gives you twenty three polka balls. But it's just like you're so rich in this game. I love of how rich you are like you start off with plenty of money plenty of Polka balls and it feels like they kind of just let you immediately get into the adventure in a way. That doesn't always happen in RPG's or even among games just like in general so. I really appreciate that aspect of it. I mean you get like I mentioned to the wild area within the first two hours and then when you get there they don't it doesn't limit you. It's like wild area and it doesn't like the only thing that made me continue onto the next town. Is that my needed to start healing. My Pok I'm on and they didn't realize that the time that camping heals and revives you're pokemon. I can do it from literally anywhere so that was cool. I could have stayed in there forever. But you don't don't. Maybe I shouldn't deadline so I had to keep going. You came over to talk to me a little bit about some of the stuff that you're learning in the course of your playing and the description description of like yeah they. Don't they really stream on the tutorial if you elect not to opt into that like that's something that I've been looking for in games like Zelda and a Other nintendo franchises forever. Like I would love so much if the next Zelda game you ran into somebody and they're like Oh have you gone on an adventure like this before and if you just you said yes and then you can just skip all the tutorial stuff and not have to deal with all the pop ups. That'd be amazing. So I like that that this game is doing something in terms of tutorial royal and like. I Know I've talked about dragon quest eleven forever but lun dragged muscle level to eleven. Does this amazing thing. Where every time you boot back into the game it gives you a plot synopsis of what's happened over? The course I like the your time with the game so like those two in tandem is the ideal situation for me because like I ended up taking so many breaks from games and coming back to them. You know weeks later because of the nature of our job at that it would be incredible. That's one thing I completely forgot to mention in the review when you bring up your menu in the top left corner corner. It tells you what you need to do next. uh-huh that's always there in your top left and also in the bottom of the screen in the menu. It's always telling you things that are interesting like there's a blizzard somewhere in the wild area or you can go pick up your pokemon from their our
"lun " Discussed on The Rich Eisen Show
"So it is game, one of the NBA finals as we've been discussing in Toronto. Yes, the raptors will host game Lun against the two-time defending world champion, Golden State Warriors on ABC in getting set to call it alongside Mike Breen and Mark Jackson. Once again, is Jeff Van Gundy, back here on the rich Eisen show. How are Jeff? Doing well, how are you doing? I'm doing great is by our count. Let's see if we're accurate is this your thirteenth NBA finals? You're calling on ABC and ESPN Jeff. Yeah. That's what Bs ESPN people told me. So I really didn't. I'm not I'm not big on county but yeah, really been fortunate. I think it's Mike Ortiz. Because Mark was coaching a few years. It says eleven. Yeah, that's right. So it's your thirteen. So I guess it's, it's kind of like your barmitzvah broadcast Jeff in a way up there in Toronto lucky thirteen lucky thirteen argue, I will open the floor right now on what, what type of finals, you think this is going to be having seen Toronto beat the bucks four straight. And obviously the warriors minus Durant for at least the first game perhaps longer. What do you see between these? Teams. Jeff, or I think it's going to be, I think dramas got a great chance to win it with or without Durant. I think they have three huge factors going in their favor going into game one homecourt advantage, the health of their team. It's not just rant. It's cousins. It's a dollar and then also they have rhythm coming in. They've been challenged more in these playoffs. They're in a normal sort of rest and play ratio versus Golden State, who's had so many days off in a row. And it's impossible to keep your rhythm as an NBA team when you've been off, as long as Golden State has been now they have the rest of antics, but I think in game one they're gonna face a challenge of rhythm that I don't think will impact Toronto and in terms of what Nick nurse could be crafting in the same way that he and his staff were. Able to craft something for Jaanus..

Oughta Mustang went to work for Ford and within thirty days, I was working in the Ford assembly plant working on quality problems at the vendors are never partnership shift in in the early eighties row. Started a road racing team in the trans am series and in the camel GT series. I started my own drug race team in eighty four and started winning. We finished up with fifteen years of involvement would win at ten twenty four hour races out of twenty four forty eight percent of the races. We entered overall in nineteen eighty-seven Ford Motor Company and Jack Roush formed a partnership the blue oval wanted to be more competitive in NASCAR. And Jack Roush was intrigued by the predominantly southern sport for decided by a by eighty seven eighty six eighty seven that they wanted to increase the size of the footprint of the NASCAR. And so they asked me if I'd start a team if they. Some some seed corn, and I hit some seed corn on my own and strove very company in Detroit was ready to sponsor a car if I build it. "Jason McIntyre. He's rob Parker. We're here filling in for Dan of the dannettes Lun. NFL today. I'm very excited for week one. I don't know about you Thursday night. I mean, listen, there's some stuff about the eagles right now. I think we'll probably get to it. You got a lot of faith in the eagles. Absolutely. I have been going back to the Super Bowl. Yes, sir. Hold on. I got them going back to the Super Bowl and the thing that I love the most is that if you think that Nick foles would have been able to come back and repeat what he did, then I would say the eagles have no shot, but you have you will have an MVP type quarterback in costume wins who? Yes, he won a Super Bowl ring but didn't win the Super Bowl who is the driving force to the second year. That's why I like the eagles because Carson Wentz his ring is Jupiter Konia stop. And now he was the VP of the league rally wasn't weeks, no, nobody, but he wasn't. He. He has something to prove as my point and he's going to keep those guys on their tolls as far as don't get Super Bowl. Lazy don't get Super Bowl, you know full in that you one last year. He's saying I didn't win. I, I was. We were supposed to win with me. I didn't win and they got better in the off season. So I like the eagles. I know it's tough in the NFC. Don't get me wrong now, but I like what they did and they're not underdogs anymore. They went through people totally wrote them off. That's a good football team man, and they added other pieces. I like this team and I like once costume wins the first couple of weeks I'm not worried about. You're not going to be out of the Super Bowl of playoff hunt because of the first couple of hours. Not a lot of room for air. I'm telling me going to have to win eleven to get into the playoffs, the win eleven games that schedules daunting. You made a good point about Carson Wentz and coming back, but rob lemme ask the wh when you looked at last season, they were hunting. They are now the hunted, how it's totally different mindset for Carson Wentz every you're not sneaking up on anybody this year. Carson Wentz shocked the league last year. Nobody thought he could do that in your to know out of North Dakota state. So now you look at it and the offense of line is dinged up. Sean Jefferies on the pup list. We don't know what Darren sproles is going to have. I have some reservations big time already on Atlanta. I took the points week. One look show cardis. I would never take it Lanta. What are you toss speaking of will start his bowl. They'll never live and right after that after that Super Bowl, falcons came back last year and they really struggled mightily in the first half of the season. Now they bounce back late. So you're saying no hangover for the eagles. Despite let me just give you the the games in the first two months at verse Atlanta, they to play Minnesota gotta go to the giants who are going to be dangerous. They gotta face Cam Newton, they gotta go to that Jacksonville, ball shaking. Stop eagles are good football team, and they will like anybody. I'm not saying it's going to be a perfect gonna go undefeated if they can get in and get everybody healthy. By the time we get to the play offs. That team is going to be a real threat against the NFC. So we got rob. Anti Jon Gruden were were together on this. Sorry, raiders fans, you're looking at what? Five, five, six wins. Maybe maybe four. I, it's going to be bleak, and he is pro Philadelphia Eagles. This is the Dan Patrick.
