"It's awful because I loved it my sorority it was my favorite thing I would never stop talking about it and it's sad because my life L. U. for nineteen year old was everything I wanted it was perfect I have a job that was walkable distance from where I lived I was in the city I had my sorority I was with my school and like it's all gone it all disappeared and I will never have that again and it it is devastating so this guy Marvin Manalo who is a who's docs use gone to hell and high water to ruin your life have you ever talked to him now I have not had one conversation after the post I asked my president if I could call him not even message your tax just a phone call I know he explains with a lot of the girls that were in my story so there were ways I can get the contact information he told me to refrain from contacting him so I have yet to have one conversation with us I thank god for bid somebody who's going to call you a racist I mean I'm gonna see this right here he called you unbelievable things called the dean of students at temple and urge them to take action against you due to your contributions to white supremacy and systemic racism are you a white supremacist Payton absolutely not are you contributing to racism now I can't even begin to fathom how you're feeling so then tell me about your friends right so you have friends you got this sorority the sorority says you know what we can't be affiliated with you even though we understand your side of the story we're going to cut and run well at least your friends they had to stick by you didn't they I definitely was expecting them to the first couple days they were pretty good and exposure just kept coming that we are not on speaking terms it because my roommate some things that they have said to me were that reaching out to me at all as caring enough they told me they told me that this isn't about me and I need to stop playing the victim card speed ho yeah yup they told me that you posted a picture of a ten dollar bill doll that's our yeah that's all you did how about your sister yeah he been threatened how about heard her stuff yeah the tweets have came follow me home to York Pennsylvania my sister gets everyone worked around the clock I'm not sure he'll people her age are starting this petition to get her fires people that I graduated with are tagging around the clock the post saying that you have a race is working for you I hope you do something about this the other Iraqi her too she gets hateful messages on her social media messages just as I do she's probably not getting any less than me up oh my gosh and so your parents have to be beside themselves yeah there they can't believe it well I will tell you there's a young man from Covington high school and his name is Nicholas St man and I think he's millions and millions of dollars richer than you and I are because something like this happened on a bigger level but this is absolutely disgraceful what does this tell you about where we are in society today it's gonna be really scary because in my generation the conservatives are the minority the last is the majority and they are so loud some are so wild and hateful and and are in basic ways and we fear using our voice parents what you fear to keep us violent and we are scared and we're trying to avoid humiliation and in my case an entire life being completely uprooted we live in a society where social media is the most forceful platform and is dominated by the last so how did behind a screen and big yet handle a mature conversation a protracted conversation discussing disagreements the urge to attack is just overpowering the value of a simple conversation some people just cannot bear the thought of someone not agreeing with that and or for people on me like we we see liberal biases or social media and TV every single day and we're just expected to swallow it stay quiet except that when we put something in sensitive or attack and labelled as a racist it's just I find it as a double standard were being silenced people are preaching diversity and acceptance but politically if it doesn't align with their gender identity we're told to shut up they belittle us they label us and the doctor I guess doxing is the new is the new thing that they like if we keep I I'm here I think if we keep allowing the less they have the upper hand in silence us the society is going to turn into something where our values are not respected and credible discrimination will be the norm you can't fight discrimination with more discriminate I agree I think yeah I think we need to get loud I think we need to get louder in a way more respectful way but we do need to get allowed me to stop being afraid of what they can take away from us we can give them that power well my entire life this is just this is just common sense Peyton I have I got fifteen seconds tell me where you gonna go to school next year because you're obviously leaving a temple I have no idea it's gonna be very far away out of PA and I'm not planning on announcing it until I get my degree well I know in there as well I agree well we heart god bless you keep fighting I'm on your side you got a lot of people listening you're on KDKA who got your six thank you so much for having me take good care can you guys believe "Hundred and sixty thousand dollars one hundred and fifty four thousand dollars went to the A. C. L. U. and I don't have a number yet on media matters you got to be kidding me right media matters the lesson Darling the George Soros funded that media matters needs money our tax dollars I was very very sure though that you know if it's wasn't a small business media matters you know because they get that nonprofit designation why why would they be getting small business loans doesn't seem almost doesn't even seem possible but I I know I know there're their level of deep analysis and honesty is something that our government should absolutely be propping up for sure it's it's despicable it's despicable the way the media I mean political operatives are going to do this the way the media treats them as despicable by the way David Brock who time magazine called one of the most influential operatives in the Democratic Party which I think is true has now been accused of illegally transferring millions of dollars from his nonprofit to a for profit entity so he took it from media matters and then he transferred two point seven million dollars in tax exempt assets and transfer them to true blue media a for profit company owned by Brock that is the parent company of sheer blew another for profit media company known as the American independent so here's a group of that and a guy who is stealing money from a non profit and from you the taxpayer taking and funneling money through non profit and then pushing it over to a for profit company these people are absolutely despicable just despicable and again why can they get away with it because no one's going to say anything bad about media matters yeah now it's dry in the Nancy Pelosi thing is is in some ways more for obviously you know media matters makes no difference to anyone but the the Nancy plus I think it's a bit more more frustrating it's like I feel like you can actually go back and give people on both sides of the aisle a little bit of a break before let's say mid March where people got this wrong right like a you can go back and find all sorts of terrible takes about how you didn't think that many people didn't think it would be a over a hundred or a thousand people would die and and all this and trying to you know the whole year you can find those things all over the place from the left and the right and at some level we all have to acknowledge that this you know is hit in a different way than almost everybody projected yeah I I bring this up relatively often but mid March eighty seven percent of the American people believe there would be less than ten thousand deaths for the entire year from covert nineteen so we're at the point now we're at over well over fifty thousand right now and you know it was just a little bit over a month ago so the idea that everyone was going to be perfect is I thought it just didn't happen and we all should acknowledge it should it didn't happen in some grace is necessary I think for most people but they didn't understand it the exception of that case people like Nancy Pelosi who continually use criticisms of other people are saying all those other people they were bad they're ruining their causing deaths of blood is on their hands because of the things that they didn't do like Donald Trump when she at the same time was encouraging people to go to Chinatown for giant parades and parties in the middle of the outbreak he is well she said she cleared that up students on that she said she was only trying to say don't discriminate against Chinese people well she was not promoting the Chinese you know Chinatown and the big parade that was going on she may have been trying to say all sorts of things you may have been trying to say the pledge of allegiance but that's not what she said what she said was come on down everybody it's gonna be great so you know this is a huge and she's just one example she's not the only one who does it but you look at this from there is a story that came out in The New York Times about this bar owner in New Jersey New Jersey who is a trump supporter went on a cruise got cove it nineteen died and there's this little genre going on the media were people you feature a trump supporter who is skeptical of Kerr of corona virus and then they die from corona virus any kind of rate this I feel bad for these people because they were so misled by Sean Hannity type of story in this one they actually say the comment from Sean Hannity were he's dismissive of covert nineteen that occurred eight days after he left for the for the cruise eight days after it so I don't know why that would inspire him to go on the cruise he had already been on and you know there's no evidence that converts even came from the cruise beyond that look at that but it's it's.

"A question I would love love to hear it in the best way to get a hold of me is to send me an email at ask al L. U. I. N. C. dot com that's ask al it L. U. I. N. C. dot com you can ask me any question real estate related and I will personally answer the question and I'll be I'll be upfront and honest with you if if I don't know the answer I know somebody who does and I will go to that person or those persons and I will get the answer to to make sure that you get the best answer for your question okay that's how we do things and lifestyles unlimited we we don't we don't shoot from the hip we don't fake it till we make it I mean it's the end of the day we either know it or we don't know it and if we don't know we know that we don't know it and we go to people that do know it so that we can get the right information it's it's pretty simple that way now the last segment I was I was reading over a list of books that I think a very important some of the mayor of random some of the men out of random some you may read all of them I don't know but I think they're very important because what they do is they they cause you to think in a different way they cause you to challenge the belief system that society has has given you yeah society's belief system you know that one that said go to school get good grades then go get into a good college were good trade school or go get a good job and if you went into the the college of the good or the trade school you would get good grades so that you could eventually get out of there and do what the other guy did which was get a job and hopefully that job is going to pay you pain in income allowances it's flipped over term from the army sorry and with that money you're gonna start stuffing it into you for one K.'s are higher res or saps the world four three bees or whatever whatever the flavor of the day that the government retirement plan he is because that's what society is taught to society is tied to this retirement comes in the form of six of social security when you turn say maybe age anywhere from nine or sixty two to seventy just pounds on when you decide to retire based on how much money you think you're going to get a handle whatever money you've put away into some type of savings plan now that savings plan is really nothing but a four one K. and IRA is set up for three beat those types of things those are glorified savings plans that you can invest with that's right you can take your money and you could put it at risk you can put it in the stock market you can do different things with it you know to be honest with you could also invest in real estate using those those Irish funds and things like that but from our perspective it's not the right way to do it like totally just went on a tangent on you guys I mean let me get back to my original promise the original premise is this you've got time on your hands some of that time should be spent with your family because you're you're not gonna get the golden opportunity like this again you might as well take advantage of it don't let whatever's happening to you economically impact the the fact that your family is the most important thing to you and and I'll tell you what if your family is not the important first most important thing to you you need to you need to sit down and rethink thanks because you you've you've obviously got some things out of order now the other thing I want you to do is I want to get educated I need you to seek out a qualified real estate investor education program because if you go into real estate investing without knowing what you're doing you are basically gonna get slaughtered yeah I mean what do you think all these these bad news stories about real estate investing come from they come from people that don't have any idea what they're doing you know this guy went over here and he bought this property to tenants trashed the place out and you know he he you know lost money because he had to keep putting money into repairs well you know he did wrong first fighting getting self educated second of all he didn't do a good job screening as tenants he got a purple Martian moved into his property and you know it you look purple Martians within your property you get what promotions do and it's not good it is not good you know a lot lot of other times people think well you know maybe maybe real states just it's just too risky because because well you know Tennessee together burn the place down you know that that that always have we always hear about these pardon fires yeah well it might happen might not in its it does hopefully everybody gets out safely and nobody's injured that's the number one concern but then at the end of the day I got insurance on my property that insurance is going to make sure that the property is rebuilt to new standard and I've also got this other little thing called loss of rent insurance which ensures that I will get monthly checks just to see if there was a tenant in those units sending me those monthly checks while those units are going to rehabilitation getting them back online so there's there's really no risk there there's no risk but you know you've heard the stories you've heard the stories you know the mom and pop operations where they they go in and they they built the Taj Mahal unit out of one out of twelve units in the other eleven just left is vanquish and they can understand why they can't find quality tenants because number one they over proved a a unit that you know do you need to be over proof like that and then they've they've left the other eleven units just sit there and not do anything with them so that stinking thinking I mean even you know how do I say it I'm gonna say this nicely because I was about ready to say something not so nice so let me let me put this nicely when you are properly educated you avoid all these calls did you hear about in real estate investing because all of these people that have these these bad stories of you know they got burned doing this they got burned doing that they got burned by tenet is because they don't know what they were doing they just thought all you just go buy a house he slapped the slap a coat of paint on it maybe you know hopefully the cockroaches are walking on the wall when you when you slap that kind of pain on and you know you stick for rent sign in and and people just died in well it didn't work that way you got to do the way we do it see the way we do it is is completely different than the conventional wisdom and we teach you all of the stuff okay what you gotta do is you've got to go in and you've got to analyze the property in you've got to figure out what needs to be repaired or replaced within the next five years and you need to build a budget for that it's called a scope of work and when you do your analysis on the property you take a look at what you can buy the property for what the property should be worth when it's all fixed up you take a look at what the rents are doing in the neighborhood and you basically do the back of the napkin calculation we teach you how to do all this stuff should take no more than that I don't know fifteen twenty seconds really what you have all the data it's pretty easy.

"Friends a rather controversial showed a to some of you in and feel free to shoot me an email to discuss that ask Mike L. U. I. N. C. dot com ask Mike it L. U. I. N. C. dot com but what we're talking about is if you have the means to put six figures away into an investment do you want to put that in the stock market or do you want to put it into real estate it in more comparing and contrasting those and frankly it was decades before I even realized that I could invest in real estate at least to the degree and to the breast that we do it here at lifestyles unlimited I mean yes do I did I know that you can go out and purchase a ran home sure everybody knows they can go buy a second Homer third Homer fourth home but what I didn't realize until I was educated until I found an effective education is that I can do it on a level that I'm doing it now okay because because before all I knew was the conventional world dry corporate America you get a nice bonus what do you do we feed the four oh one K. a little more you get a fat commission check well some of that's going to the four oh one K. were set it aside for a rainy day just feed feed it seated feed it and and I had no idea that I had the option you know what maybe I want to become a partner in another multi family apartment community never thought I could do that right now I'm a partner in over fifteen hundred doors okay it in into incredible what's out there you don't know what you don't know so we're doing this show would you rather put a hundred thousand dollars or more into the stock market or into real estate and continue another reason why pick real estate every time I'm gonna call this reason mortgage pay down okay in this is gonna sound funny to you stock or mutual fund investors you're chuckling out there because there's no such thing as it and your you may even think I'm being silly I'm not being silly in and how about you cash real estate investors out there that I've been told well if you want to own or rent home you need to pay cash for it well you don't get that mortgage paid out either because it's paid for so this is just another advantage that's not your tool back please see we leverage everything do we leveraged home to dangerous levels no we're sitting on twenty thirty forty percent equity in these properties okay we could move them anytime we want we just choose not to but we leverage everything why interest rates are low why it maximizes the return you know mark Cuban recently was talking about the low interest rates at their end and I'm sure you all know billionaire mark Cuban owner of the Dallas Mavericks he's on shark tank but he he had a statement that him and I guess his inner group of other billionaire buddies were talking about the low interest rates that have just been around and and continue to stay low and and he said that low interest rates today are like universal income for rich people think about that for a second he's basically saying it's free money is is where it is okay so mortgage pay down so when the more equity you have in a property the lower the returns on that property so we borrow okay and and when we borrow we create a note that it's due to the lender right and when the rent is paid by that resident mother to single family home or an apartment community we in turn take that rent payment and we pay when we pay we pay the principal we put pay the interest we pay the taxes and we pay the insurance each and every month okay so within that note is printable yes that's mortgage pay down and so each month when you're paying in that a little portion goes to reduce the principal what is that in turn doing wallet increasing your equity another word for ownership within that property within that asset so your ownership percentage increases each and every month that principals reduced that's the mortgage paid out is there anything like that in the stock market or mutual fund investment world nothing I'm aware of please reach out to me if there is something like that I'm band did curious to know I I would devour any information that you provide to me too within the stock investment world that is similar to the mortgage paid down that we enjoy as real estate investors let's continue on another reason I would rather invest in real estate then in the stock market again these these reasons are in no particular order appreciation okay in appreciation is essentially that's the.

"You teach dramatic use snippets and then suddenly. They're typing just as quickly as everybody else. Because all the things they need to type right away are already snippets now. I have have been using text expand her for quite some time. It was probably some podcast where I had heard about it and I downloaded it and I figured out some of the things that I wanted to do and now I cannot not live without my text expand. I'm using it every single day. What am I simple? Snippets is just to add date slugs to things so in files and documents mm-hmm and all sorts of things I type cynical an S. L. U. G. and that converts it to the date. Whatever given date it is I also oh use it at twit? We have a process where we have to make sure that the different versions of our podcasts are up loaded and and alive on different platforms be it in. MP three former video form or something like that and so we have a slack channel. Yes this is getting some inside baseball here. We have a slack channel where we confirmed that those are up while you're typing the same thing over and over again every time you're saying hey these available here. I A human can confirm from that and so I have a little text expanders snippets setup that works for each of the shows that I host and produce and it quickly says has yes it's up on. MP Three Youtube Etcetera etcetera etc.. And I can use that both on Iowa so if I want to do it while I'm out and about or if I am at home that I can do it for my computer. Her it saves.
