"Is on Leonard and Lowry to stay on the floor for forty minutes and give you the points rebounding necessarily road game for you. He's about to get started the Toronto Raptors in their road. Red uniforms, they've got those inverted v Chevron logo in the front that say north across the chest numerals in white Golden State Warriors going with a slate gray uniforms trimmed in gold here at the oracle thirty wins in forty one home regular season games. They've won five straight at home in the postseason until the fourteen point loss to Toronto in game. Three ball is away. And we are underway, the Toronto Raptors have the first crack going from left to right. Game for the NBA finals, raptors of a two one series lead guy. They have Thompson was guarding Lowry initial old bears, PASCAL Siaka against play Thompson on the other backing him down into the mid post double comes. Gives it up to lower dollars in his face five shoot over the Dante great on the left floated from ten Bank shot. No console tips, but controlled by a dollar in the warring excellent rotation time to shooters them right away from the shot. Get outta dribble into the front court and get it right to dream on green who flips it to Klay Thompson now quickly DeMarcus cousins outside the mid post right against us. All they go to green struggled from three his past nearly tipped away now tied up play Thompson able to three two cousins. Try to find a cutting Thompson wasn't there. Tipped away steel, Toronto great rotation by Leonard to get that election and the paint daily green on the right oil. He was right. Hot and gained free. But a dollar with those great hands. Just poked it away. Demarcus cousins dribbling has it report away from Danny green and uneven start to gain for Toronto. Has it grade three pointer bricks at from the left rebound, Draymond green gray her? Head is deemed bumps right into Lowery. Sends them back about ten feet. No call now green against Lowery. No call. Again is the. All goes across the baseline that time taking Lowery doubt. It was back on the that took a lot of courage to do. Green was motoring at high speed and then Lowry definitely gets in front of him the force the shot that go up over the top. Wipe. The perspiration away as Tyler Lowry is still sitting on the floor is right? Sneaker came off at time being held up by Pasco Siaka. Of course they had the incident across the way where he dove into the crowd and was pushed by a minority investor, you all heard the story on that, and file Lowery. Now has that right? Sneaker retied ready to go. Warriors have it scoreless just underway. Tim forty three to go in the first quarter. Green off the inbound of curry long range, three off the rim. No offense impor- Thompson. His put back, we'll go funky Tyson's try to put back. He got fouled, and he'll get to the free throw line. That's what you're looking for a cousin because dollars a second. That's opera -tunities there. And he definitely gets pushed by disolve. Excellent. And that's what you're looking for. You're looking for him to rebound play good defense in the paint. And then let's have I good offensive game. On suiting foul on the over the back four years. We'll take it from the side into Klay Thompson. Whoa, going gonna shoot a long, three that just tick, the rim and comes right to pass cow, Siaka, scoreless ninety seconds, NCI, confront court Lowry at the top drives Negga dollar gets in front. Cutoff says it out to him for the corner three that Mrs Green tips, it over to dollar. Dow court curry left-wing spins into the lane on Leonard up. Top DeMarcus cousins help put tech lost the ball against us. All got it back poked away. Hawaii Leonard has it. Listened cousins got away with two thousand I with four. I'm MAC with the back. Oh, four are the warriors ole for three to start are the raptors. Here's a letter to driving kick took a soul touch pass Lowery. No look left side. Siachen. He goes into the high post ramps away by Draymond green drain going into the other end fives. Curry on the left waits for traffic to clear hot back. Three around back in again in the first points of game four. Go to step Perry on deep to knock the defense Mogollon. Save is just been excellent up until this point. Let's see if they can hold it for forty eight minutes. To nothing on the scoreboard in favor of Golden State. Here's Danny green of green from the corner that MRs DeMarcus cousins is left arm was being hassled by assault with the right arm was able to grab the rebound. Very into the front court finds dollar in the right corner standing on the free point line. A couple of lefty dribble. Three minutes into game four tops went over his hand and into the back court recovered by Toronto Lowery for Siaka. Grab by cousins, a bear hug does he know, Siachen was wide open underneath the basket mile cousins. Alexia story, you take a foul like that or the Olympic I take the layup or you challenge the shot you got three options here right now. Big thing, this young man, going to the Palestine pretty good foul shooter during this during this playoffs seventy seven seventy eight percent throughout the entire playoffs. Nine minutes, even to go in the first quarter to nothing in favor of the Golden State Warriors. You get in touch to this game. There is tension field in the crowd. You definitely got into players now. Rushing. The shots. You could see that. They've had wide open threes at both ends of the floor, but they're not reacting to the double teaming and the rotations right now. And a defense at both ends are getting the flexible Siachen hit the first of two free throws six nine two hundred thirty pound third year man from Cameroon Africa. Second one up around out. No good cousins, the rebound to one warriors lead. And you look at that you say well, that was good. Val cousins. You wanna keep him in the game. And takes a long pass, spins turns and hits. The twelve footer on a long fade from curry by, like it. Because they really saw that he was plagued by Lowery, while require doubt gets under the floor. Tried to dish it in the lane to Kawai letter to has it now, fade away from the dotted light good, coli, Leonard basket. Makes it look easy. That's his favorite move spend into the paint to fade away for three and favor of Golden State with double on Klay Thompson gets rid of it. Rained on top that's dream on slings it to the left side, etc. One dribble fatally twenty foot or no and Marcus. All rebound quick outlet to Siachen far left side into the front court. Siaka will give it up to lower, right. Back to pass cow. Trying to get by cousins crosses to the right floated up missed the shot boogie the rebound app. Beautiful crossover really fake defender out on watch Elino cigar. Dozens trying to pass front court right side Siaka deflects it out of bounds with eight oh to go in the first quarter low scoring warriors four raptors three. It'll be side in zach's Arba holding the ball. Good officiating crews Arba Mike Callahan Eric Lewis here tonight in game four. Inbound cousins up high now to Klay Thompson shadowed by lower takes him around the screen, great feet underneath a dream on green leaves it up in that they bend their laid back this all laid back and turned the corner and opened up the offensive to game. I bucket for Draymond green six three leads to the warriors. Tom rather, Leonard screen good from the wing Draymond rebounds. Dribbles right down the middle of the floor outside to Iggy Dala into the mid post tops in behind the back to cousins who lays it in. They didn't get that every time because once they post up on the right side, immediately, dissolves going over the double team, the player all pleasant tested do is get to the front of the rent. They miss Klay Thompson. He's got to hear the opening four and a half minutes. Eight three warriors Lowery law puts it up a little. Floater from ten feet away while they're getting down inside. They're getting open shots. Danny Green's, too wide open from that left corner to sa- matter of settling down, eight five in favor of the warriors. Seven minutes to go in the first dollar ball on his right on the wing now explodes against Leonard passing out, the Draymond green gets off a deep to that. Mrs Leonard the rebound for Toronto abbey's struggling only shooting twenty percent on threes in the series. There's letter from the writing gets Thompson will test that hamstring. Defensively goes right around him into the lane whistle as he was trying to hop to the left side foul against Golden State with six forty five to go here in the first quarter foul will be on boogie cousins, and that will be his second, and it will lead to our first time out at the oracle six forty five to go opening quarter of game four warriors eight.

"If you're the rashes I mean you obviously have no Durant still. Now, you'll know looney who's played really well for the warriors and clay. Again, don't even know if he's gonna play in this game. And if he's even good if he's playing in this game. So it's never going to get a better opportunity for the for the wraps that take to one lead to win a game on the road especially maybe game to the beginning of that second half was their best. Opera possibly possibly look back so Klay. That's an obvious one. We're watching what he can give them tonight. If he goes, what do you, what do you got your on? Draymond green and PASCAL. Siaka might not actually guard each other for the entire night. But I think that matchup is going to really determine who wins game three. Both of them have been the best player on the court for their teams in the game. They want in game one clearly that was Siaka p really caught the warriors off guard with his speed has effort and his length picking kind of overwhelmed defenders even Draymond green a little bit just because he's got the length and the quickness on them. But in game two Draymond made it a point to find Siachen in transition and Draymond intensity and game too. I thought really helped win the warriors the game. He was incredible. And, you know the intensity was there. He switched on the garden, Kyle Lowry a lot in the second half, which allowed him to be a little bit more disruptive as a help defender. So what happens in game three of? Clays. Ltd. Maybe Igwe dollars on client, a little bit more, which means drones more on Siaka which could be an advantage for Toronto. But if Andrew bogut is able to guard PASCAL Siaka I'm like he didn't game to see. I come pass to be able to score on Andrew bogut. Whoever plays better between PASCAL and Draymond green. I think is gonna win the game. Yeah. We thought at times, we might see the raptors even tried their small ball line up a little bit more with Siaka met the five, but the words for the most part of always played a big, and it helps that cousins is sort of back in bogus, get something. So you're, it's a lot more difficult to do. But maybe you try it. If you're Nick, nurse, he's not afraid to try things. That's what we've learned from Nick nurse and this raptors team. Maybe he goes with a little bit more Siaka Matt five and trying to use the speed to out tire cousins, or a bogut, and see what you can get from that bit of a risk could get killed inside and on the boards..

Toronto Raptors win Game 1 of NBA Finals

"We begin with last night's storage NBA finals game. One win by the raptors in Toronto over the two-time champs you have to start with PASCAL Siaka miraculously made fourteen of seventeen shots and was the best player on the floor for either team besting Steph curry, and the dubs the warriors weren't as much rusty as it were simply smothered defensively by raptors team, which is now won five straight playoff games. Toronto also shot fifty percent Franko confidence to the raptors be after game one. I think there should be very confident. And I know Michael, we're not supposed to overreact to one game. But guess what? I'm going to do. I'm going to overreact to one game because the words are banged up. You mentioned the raptors having won five straight. They wanna game where Hawaii was five fourteen. It's his worse shooting game since February. And now you're getting contributions from guys like Pasco Siaka Fred been fleet guys weren't doing much their confidence has been raised ever since that win against Philadelphia. Game seven Toronto been a different team. Why shouldn't they have a lot of confidence, especially with homecourt advantage year? Frank, I'm with you. They should have a lot of confidence. They had to win that game last night. And there were a couple of moments as you know, you're sitting there, like I was where look like Golden State was about to go on one of those third quarter runs or maybe early fourth they got within a couple and they couldn't every time Toronto found plays. And you mentioned Kyle Lowry and they did not have spectacular games. But there was so much support starting with Siaka. But that defense Frank. I want to go back to that curry and Thomson. I mean they have bad games but one thirty five shots between the two of those guys not gonna get it for now. We don't know what Andre dollars situation as you mentioned being banged up, and they're going to have to get more. I don't know how you ask for more than a triple double for Draymond green, but they're probably going to have to ask more, so but I think Golden State is going to be ready or I said that last night, they're going to be in a better position to. React that smother defense in game two than they weren't game

"He hasn't made a three since the Houston series. Remember he left game three against the blazers did not play at all in game four and he is so essential to all of these smaller lineup stuff pushing the pace stuff. That's curse teams to want to do, but Kevin Durant enterprises is having a pretty good day, if you think about this very cynically, because of parilli corner, Ramona Shelburne, this is sort of injury that actually might take. Weeks and weeks if this was a regular season setting, but because the warriors in the finals, and because they just lost he can come back and be the conquering hero, and the good news is they actually might need him because he plays two ways. It's not just the offense. It is also the defense on Kawai lender that they can plug him into resumes. They actually bite need him. Yes. The team that only has one guy who can get his own shot needs. Another guy that can get their own shot. And this is one place where I think that people who lean too much quantitative stuff. Have really dropped the ball as much as you love your ball movement. And look how many passes they're throwing again. I saw as Thomas make this point last night on television. I've said before part of why they moved the ball. They got a bunch of do out there that can't shoot like I don't know why you think there's something beautiful about watching guys who can't shoot give the ball to each other. They need somebody who can get a shop. And if it ain't Steph curry who they're playing off the ball, a lot because they try to stop every getting bliss on those screens who else is opposed to Klay Thompson. He might get you. He's becoming volume score. Basically because he can't get his own shot. So a bit ain't Steph, how was this lineup supposed to school? I will totally admit that game one of this series was a bad argument for the democracy that I love so much. But it is worth voted. The Toronto Raptors also suffer from the same exact problem except they have guys like Siaka emerging. Why can't dream on green score more than ten points? Why can't Klay Thompson be more efficient? They're getting shots now. The offense is hindered by the defense, but this team in the warriors, they can be so much better in my bed is that they actually will hoop Siaka can get his own shot Kyle Lowry. Can did his own shot who of the warriors other than Steph can get his own shot? Well Andre Dali used to be able to do this. It's like two thousand seven but. Age the idea that you can be a guy who can drive and shoot Klay Thompson. Can't quite drive. Right. But why can't train on green and Steph curry rump that pick and roll over and over and over again because last night, what I saw Bomani was the unstructured motion offense. My beef is actually that Steve out coached by Nick nurse. He jumped in the time machine for the score, and Audrey, etc..

"Also, does their TV sidelines. He told us, we were talking about quiet Leonard and the fact that he may leave in the off season. I think we all under. Stand that's up in the air, and we'll probably go to Los Angeles. Join the clippers as a free agent. Eric Smith told us that, like, raptor spans are kind of looking at it like all right. It would kinda stink that quite leaves, but, but we have Paschal Siaka who's a developing starter. So things are kind of. Okay, moving forward. He's specifically brought up Pasco Ceac him as the well. Yeah, I've quiet leaves. It's not like we have nothing. Right. And Siaka hasn't been great here in the playoffs. But he was great last night. You know what nurses description when he was describing him, he could have been describing Jimmy Butler from back in the day. Yeah. Where he wasn't a great shooter, but he wanted to learn how to shoot at Jimmy Butler made himself the player that he is now would you like them or not, whatever it is? But CRM you love hearing the story of a guy that says, listen, I can't shoot hopefully some of the current bulls players have taken that same thing, and it got into packs, or, you know, guy or whoever it is, listen. I need to work on my shooting. Because that would be a wonderful thing because, you know, fourteen to seventeen two of two from the line. He missed three shots the entire game and is so great to see players like that instead of players who may and I'm not calling anybody out really I'm not players who feel entitled, the, you know, there are out there. They're good. They don't have to worry about this guy worked his tail off to be where he's at. And last that was a great place to, to showcase himself. It it's it's tremendous some of the numbers of what he did just getting thirty two points. First game of the files, just amazing numbers, and I went into the series I said last week when I came in here for shot no shot with cap. I said that would be five more games in the NBA the one game to wrap up the series and then four more you kind of jumped out at agreed and I felt good. I felt like I knew what I was talking about and immediately Toronto wins the first game. But they'll be at least they'll be at least five games. Yeah. And you know listen one game in a final series or any playoff series doesn't make this year. No, not at all, especially with I think the warriors were getting shots. They wanted last night, and that would concern me if I'm raptors fan because one they completely took qui- out of his normal did the doubling towards the top of the key win quite had the ball. And then their ability to always have a second defender when he went to the lane, Kirk gold's Barry on ESPN last night had a piece, a breakdown virtual map of where Koi shoots the ball. And he loves shooting from in the paint and around the free throw line, and it was clear last night that the warriors objective was a push them away from those spots. And if he was in the paint, have at least two bodies there to contest the shot and you saw worth success. So you know in a playoff series final series are Siaka console. Green are those guys going to hit all these fleet vanfleet? You are they all going to hit buckets. They're open. And if they do you're right. They have a really good chance in this series. But if they don't I kind of feel like the idea behind the. Warriors were doing is the right idea. It just wasn't there night. And you know, don't jump on the one game because you guys remember back when the Lakers, and the Philadelphia seventy Sixers playing the finals and Allen Iverson and the seventy Sixers won that game one in dominating action and you had the step over, Tyrone. Lou in that famous mean that's been created from that point. Yeah. The, the Lakers went onto win four straight after that figure out like. All right. Let's let's do what we need to injuries. Can play a big factor because they're so we saw you could outlet starting to limp late in the game. We don't you know, that's a major concern if he's hurt then. Yeah. Then the, the doors wide open, if, if the Renton Iggy are both rate and they can't play or play to the effect that they're usually playing then. Yeah. The rafters can certainly win this series. I don't think cousins helped at all when he was out there. He looked like he was hesitant. He looked like you know, he took a couple of long shots to. I know he can do that. But he's coming back from injury. He. It did not look like he was very helpful. Fred is better or worse than replacement level. I know those minutes that he played you have cousins playing eight minutes. Those would be go those would be going to Andrew bogut who didn't play. He got EMP CD a coach's decision. So like is he better or worse than Andrew bogut? I think he's just a little bit better. He was passing the ball. Well, he's got six thousand to us. You know, he's a big body and he's usually gonna use them. He's a smart player. Right. So I mean I. He's not playing all star level caliber, like we're used to sing. But I wonder in the long run if his minutes are better use than say bogus minutes Steve Kerr after the game on how the warriors lost game one. We'll see how come was brilliant. I mean, he was hitting shots from everywhere hit four threes. You know, he he's been struggling from the three point line in the last couple of series. So he got he got to go and, and. I think actually I'm wrong on that. He had yards. But Gonzalo we left a couple of times. And didn't rotate. You know we, we just gave him a couple of Deir shots knocked down. So you know there's going to there's going to be some openings those guys made their plays made their shots. You know, the biggest thing for me was our transition defense was just awful. And, and that's the game that's the number one priority. When you play Toronto, you have to have to take care of their transition and we gave twenty four fast-break points. We turn it over seventeen times. So that that's the game. Really the other stuff you guys are gonna make shots. Miss shots are going to have good games. They're going to have bad games. But it's kind of the, you know, the key points that you can take care of that. That are, are the most important, and we didn't take care of that. Transition that Steve Kerr after the game fast-break points, the raptors had seven more. The breakdown woods twenty four for the raptors to seventeen for the Golden State Warriors. The other thing I would point out, forty points in the paint. Eight more than what the Golden State Warriors hat for the Toronto Raptors. And you heard what Steve Kerr said a couple dare shots. Right. That means those guys weren't open just because of a breakdown defensively we going to take they want those, those bit players take those shots because that means he's not doing it. Yeah. And he, he brought up the best. I mean part of if you look back at the game, the transition defense of Golden State, I was surprised you don't me I don't watch as much NBA basketball is almost anybody even on the streets, by the way, the Toronto was able to get the ball up so quickly. The transition defense for the warriors were something they've gotta fix because there were a lot of open shots. They were getting to the basket, and that was one of the reasons, Siachen was as good as he was. Able to score thirty two points, Steve aspirin or from MBA dot com will join us..

"Raptors bucks. Game three Toronto finally showed up. I led the team to a double overtime win scored thirty six points in a career high fifty two minutes of play one eighteen one twelve was your final Chris Carter, would you make 'cause night? So it was amazing. It was because I didn't know if he was going to be able to make you could see him cramp up early are grab by. I thought the fact that the medical staff didn't come over initially that, that was something very, very positive. But the mental toughness it takes the play these games. It's impressive. The steals late the rebounds late explode into the hoop. Late in the game. Very impressive. One of his most impressive games, I think he scored ten thirty point games, dispose postseasons ten thirty point game. And for the raptors as a whole the mental fortitude egos to overtime. Why? Because. Paschal Siaka, MRs. Free throws and then misses a really tough potential game. Winner goes to double overtime, why? Because quite MRs really tough potential game winner. But a shout. We know he can hit that little mid range shot and left elbow to win. You're in a must win game. You have two chances to win it. You blow 'em both or you don't come through. And both to then finish them off in the double over dominated double overtime. Absolutely, especially once Janas was off the court quiet. A little more freedom. He was exceptional in obviously any Norma swin that keeps the raptor season alive. I to the Western Conference finals now Portland struggling to get into this series with the warriors, who lead three games to none Dame, Lillard confirmed. He is dealing with a separated rib. He stressed quote. I don't think it's something. That's my game. See what do you make this? I think it's affected his game because the thing about with them trapping them the physical contact. They're putting a lot of height lot of size on top of. And now the physicality of every time you got bump that torn cartilage in your ear. It makes it totally uncomfortable. And that's one of the spots that it's really hard to take a pill or to get a shot because it's such an acute area, he basically have to play through the pain. So yes, this is a real injury. But real athletes, not gonna make a mistake and makes excuses like Dame did well. And so listen. I think that this is another example, though of where guys if guys get injured..

"Right. He is injuries. A real. He's he played a lot early this season right here. Played like the first fifty and everybody was thinking. Well, wait a second. Are you? Sure. You wanna beat meanwhile, Kawais taking every other day off? Right. And it beads going hard, and I think they wanted to establish him. Look, he's healthy. Now that ended up beating him up a little bit though. Yeah. For later in the season. So this this record I think it was eighteen at four th because the record for the Sixers starters when they actually played together. And so we dismissed that a little bit because Toronto killed him and game one. That's the caution of only watching game one game two is the opposite. Yeah. And the problem with Toronto in this series. Look the Sixers have a higher high, right? There ceiling is their talents. A little scary. But there's a one is off the floor. It's a lot like LeBron when he was in Cleveland at the end, the where it's basically it's a disaster because Kyle Lowry is not play with Siaka was really their only other good player. So there's a bit of a challenge. But the interesting thing to me about this series is not about the actual play. Because I'm always looking at free agency is that if Jimmy Butler and Embiid do find a by click that. Air AB St. that's a player off the table for that. I completely thought the same thing last night. And you're right. They're doing every single podium together. And then I heard that that that Jackie MacMullan thing saying they she thought they really hit it off in a big way high leverage moments. All the sudden, maybe Butler's the guy they keep maybe they I mean effect team goes to the finals. So they keep all four those guys. Do you think do you think you spend the money if you go tell you what I said yesterday, I think Philly's going to win that series? I still think they're going to win that series. They win that series two if Milwaukee pasta and beat each other up in Philadelphia, it gets a healthy to the finals, and that would be really fun finals Golden State, Philly that's eight that's eight talent. That's like, but the put, but but again big point if the Lakers are targeting Jimmy Butler as sort of that be level free agent who potentially becomes available right at the end of the season. And if they go to the finals, and he's no longer available. It made me in the Lakers needed different plant. And here's the reality. Is that the Sixers because they acquired his bird rights can offer him one more year. So he can make an extra forty or fifty million dollars from the Sixers. Unlike anyone else, and then Tobias Harris is probably out which we thought everybody thought it was going to be the way. That's why they traded it for Harris. But but you think if they if they go to the finals, they don't keep those four guys. I think they go to the final say do. Yeah. Yeah. Why would because I don't know if you could afford that then trade one of those guys later like I don't think it's that these guys are hedge fund owners who owns the fill some some young guys. Let your hedge fund guys come on FOX too much. Look is New York with the luxury tax eventually get so punitive. I don't care who you are. You're not you're not. Let's just go be hedge fund guys. I would love to be a hedge fund guy. What can we do that? With hedge fund guys anybody. No, no head fund guys hanging out at El Torito on Friday. Why you never go..

"Than their Jap than some of the decisions that were made up front. It should not be seen as an indictment of the Sixers. If it goes the way we expect. But there going be seen as an indictment of the Sixers because the the depth thing is just atrocious. Sure. But like even the starters versus starters minutes going as poorly as they did. And I think those will be a little bit better for Philadelphia moving forward. I mean, they threw a ton of resources into having that five and Marcus oil in particular. I mean, this is why runner traded for him. He by muting Joel Embiid, and I mean, Denise injuries is certainly affecting things as well. It takes away one of the defining characteristics. And then having so many good forward defenders, and then just diligent enough guys on on Rettig. It puts a lot on Jimmy Butler puts a lot on Ben Simmons. And they're brutal Metcha last thing here is we probably haven't talked about quiet enough. Yes. With this kind of performance is there's not really anything to say. I mean, he was just beating guys and getting out in transition. So as well I thought defensively his ability to. Off Simmons was really valuable head just a ridiculous block with the left hand on Tobias Harris that led to a Siaka run out dunk, those it a huge play. And so we talked about before these play offs of while it was LeBron out of the playoffs and getting older the title of best player in the world is up for grabs in pardon curry, Katie Jaanus. Look does the top tier of our top ten players in the NBA ranking. And so far quite Leonard is making a bid to be in. There mean, he's probably the MVP the playoffs so far here, although we can transition now to the conclusion of the clippers Golden State series at the fifty points by Kevin Durant, including thirty eight in the first half also making a bid for that title. Kevin Durant has set any. He's played a lot of playoff games. He set his postseason career-high twice in the series against the clippers and he should have done. It a third time. Except that game. The words were ahead by so much after three quarters that he never played in the fourth and. And really the ultimate of those performances. Fifty points. Fifteen of twenty six from the field. Fourteen fifteen from the line, five assists four turnovers. Huge performance from him. The second most points in a half by individual in postseason history, finishing one short of sleepy Floyd in the second half against the Lakers and just dominant performance that they'll Bevere how log oh feels like the whole I'm Kevin Durant. And the how many shots is he gonna take stuff in a great during took twenty six shots from the field though, he had a ton more shooting possessions. But he was absolutely incredible. In something else that really opened things up, and we'll see if this has longer tentacles into the next round and potentially beyond that the warriors opened up so much by just setting their screens a lot higher on the floor. And whether it was Currie or whoever else that was giving that player so much more real estate to work with and it was a reminder of how limited LA's back line defenses. Yeah. Exactly when you get that four on. Three you might say equal and Draymond green. Aren't the same guys? They were before but Inc. Curry noted. This got seven lobs pretty much all of them out of that play of just hypoc enrolled, the top Draymond green coming downhill lobby to Andre and Kerr did feel the urgency air Kevin Durant, despite what ended up being a blowout. Played forty two minutes. He went with Shaun Livingston in the starting lineup. So he could start dream on green at center, we thought it might be looney probably actually should have been loony. Frankly, the way they'd played with looney on the floor. Andrew bogut was quite minimized. The as wall in the rotation looney was plus seventeen by the way in in his fifteen minutes. He was outstanding. Again, Dylan thing too is just Lou Williams suffered to a negative twenty eight three out of twenty one performance any ad. He did have seven assists..

"He's unbelievable offensively. I still will probably pick him. But I'm thinking Wong hard while putting PASCAL Siaka come on head. Yes. Siaka has been incredible. For the raptors this year, Kyle Lowry in quiet, Leonard of combining this almost forty games and the raptors are gonna win fifty eight games and CRM is a monster on defense. He's gotten infinitely better on offense. I'm speaking to one of the leaders of the PASCAL Siaka fan. Yeah. You know, this is this is a PASCAL saves. Zone. Hi, I'm I'm honestly still at church, which while go, I probably wind up going with LeBron. But I'm going to think about it for the next twenty four hours because Siachen has been so good that I I might put in there. Instead, I love pets Calcio. The fact that you have landed upon pass Calcio com is the reason I'm putting and that's the other reason why probably will too because there just isn't unlike the guards where you can look at like eight guys the forward line after LeBron's is weak. I actually think I would look at before PASCAL is Danilo Gallinari. You know, I've seen lamarcus Aldridge. Lamarcus Aldridge is a center he's played center for ninety percent of his minutes. Right. I don't he had really different than towns. He hasn't been. So outstanding bright that I would manipulate the position thought about rewarding him for for being just the rock for. That's bursting getting the back in the playoffs. Again has been good enough. I have to look myself in the mirror every day when I wake up. And if I picked lamarcus Aldridge over LeBron James for it, all, and that's why in the end, I think I'm gonna change. Right. And I think in the end up going to pick LeBron for the same reason. Like his numbers are so good and PASCAL piece really gotten better every month. He probably steals your way. I think he'll be an all NBA player next year. Frankly, I feel comfortable saying that now, but or at least they'll be in the conversation again, but I am pregnant with around. But it's close PASCAL is really really good. So the other forwards are just nobody there's Ben Simmons who's eligible a guard and forward Luke off ex AD's been disqualified, right informal. There's nobody else we don't even need to run throat and centers. There's just no those guys those guys plus cat. You know, then it's then it's your vich is your Drummond's and those guys Nurkic I thought had a great season Adams, Capello, blah, blah. They're not gonna Saint ball aren't as good the only real change. I made between a month ago. When I started looking at this today was I flip flop Yokich and Embiid first and second team and putting go bare over towns. Yeah. Listeners hiring. I can imagine is one of those things that can be challenge. Aging and time consuming there are hundreds of job boards. Do you have to post your ad on everyone? How'd you know, that you're not missing the one job board that has the right person?.

"But if if they stay healthy lookout with Kawai, and Lowry and Gasol and Siaka and surge of Bacchus, really good. That they're going to be a tough out for somebody. So here's here's something that I think is is really really interesting. We talk about the Lakers. Young core yell the time, you know, the the Ingram in the Kouzmin and the Josh heart in the Lonzo all that stuff. So the dodgers there's this thing called the first of all dodgers off to a five and to start there in Colorado tonight. Colorado's three and four it'll be Tyler Anderson the lefty for Colorado versus Cantu, my eighty Kanta Mehta for for the dodgers. And that means we'll see because it's a lefty we'll see David freeze and we'll see Chris Taylor out in left field most likely and kenley Jansen pitching for the first time in Colorado. The heart procedure. But I mean, he had that I guess repaired. Here are the KOTA projections for the next and I trust the Prokhoda projections there these are normally scare scary Acura. "It would also. So that was your counterpoint. I would I would just say that in those eastern. Is a little bit different. And in the case of Paul, George. My recollection at the time was the the indication that we got they wanted them pay woes was Paul George wanted to go to the Lakers. Correct. And so if you're the Lakers, and you think Paul George wants to come to you in free agency without giving up any of your young assets. And then you probably had a plan to also add another another player say, maybe you're thinking about LeBron James, then guess what? That would. And you have all your young guys ample, George. Well. Paul George goes. Okay. See they made the risk to trade for him. And he loved it there crap rusty loved Russ. He clearly loves it there. Right. So that you're right. That in that sense. It is risk. "What they're doing collectively as a team. And Nick does a few guys in that that you'd like Pacific. Listen basketball, Siaka, GMs development from your two to three four being honest. I like to see that type development between the last in this offseason. Ben Simmons guy who PASCAL is not near the athlete the player been Simmons's couldn't shoot last year. Either developed a shot. Yeah. Somehow defender he was just a defender. Yeah. Justed bound ball. Handler is same draft classes, Ben Simmons nowhere close to the profile. L at any point in his career and turned himself outside of six feet into a far better offense of player thought Thought you'd like like to see. to see that same out of Ingram like this. And this oh, some of that is the guide locking himself in a gym and some of the infrastructure and try to give a lot of it to the infrastructure because Oji on Nobie we see him in from year one to your to develop in Serge Ibaka recapture something that I thought was gone from him in those conference semifinals against against the Cavs. He was on playable. And I thought we were seeing the end of him and I wanna give credit to their leader because quite their best player. But the leader of this franchise for the last half decade has been Kyle Lowry, and Kyle Lowry and Damara rose in our brothers. They love each other. And he was devastated by D'amoto rose and being traded they both felt somewhat betrayed and the fact that he has kept his level of play leaves the MBA in assist and not let that spill onto the court is a credit to him. And we didn't know how he was going to react because he reacted. I mean. I mean like he was so sad. Yeah. And he was so shook that the organization which changing he didn't know, and he wasn't playing great basketball. He just now recently came out of his suit shooting slump. But what Nick is talking about these are intricate parts in Steph curry seem to have a hard time with him and some of the matchup so going forward. I'm looking forward to seeing how they continue that quickly before we move on how much credit to give to this coaching staff able to to bring a few pieces into make such a big said, I wouldn't fire joining Casey I love doing Casey was a really good coach. "To buy into this enzyme called Sida chrome Siaka days and settled from Seattle is crucial as a crucial enzyme for the production of ATP, our identity and triphosphate which cellular energy. And so when those two things bind to each other nitric oxide and inside a crummy oxidise ATP production. Can it can halt at our at the mighty conjure level. And so that's where that's where most of the research and most clinical researchers and boat a medicine, they say, that's sort of the gold the gold standard for the mechanism the the well understood mechanism of action for light therapy. Is that specific? Wavelengths the wavelengths that we chatted about earlier read and the near infrared they have they can they have a unique action on that enzyme side of crumbs jockeys. And because of that those bonds between side Siaka geographies and nitric oxide. Those are broken and nitric oxide is in freed up in. That's why a lot of people in using light therapy. They expend the experience like basil dilation or kind of pump is because of that nitric oxide release and then at the same time, you're freeing site Krumbach today's to help produce a DP dizzying Di phosphate, which is a precursor to denizen triphosphate. And so that's where red light has has that's kind of the well understood mechanism of action for like for red and near infrared light therapy is actually kind of induce better better cellular function during during four phase of cellular respiration. Now, I I will throw out some some caveats. And this is where I think it's really interesting with ketogenic diets to is that there's still a lot that we don't know about the mechanism of action. One one thing all point out is that there's there was some recent research published in from some research from some academics in Austria, showcased Reddin infrared light actually helps help helps to induce healthy gut microbiome, which is really interesting because it shouldn't penetrate that deep into your gut, but they showcase that that actually does it does help that arena. And so that, you know, their conclusion from their early work was that there's a different mechanism of action at play here on that. We don't really fully understand. So I want to throw that out that there there are some different things going on in one of those actually is with with key genetic diets. One of the cool things is that Kita genyk dial. Especially if it's if the food is sourced appropriately is very low in deteriorate and deterioration is kind of a heavy hydrogen atom, which can clog up the cellular respiration process. And and red light actually has a unique. Can actually has unique role in lowering deteriorate levels at the cellular level too. And so there's there's there's actually some research that we're doing with with with a group in regards to deteriorate, but a good Kennedy genyk diet works energetically with with red near red light therapy. And this is one of the things of of I've use the unit Allott, and this beacon, some of the things that I've noticed as a disclaimer, this is it paid podcast this sponsoring the show. Really really really quickly. Again, who knows I was also taking eight college in a day doing as much influence as humanly possible. But one of the things that did notice that pain pretty much disappeared. Even when it was excruciating after ten to fifteen minutes of us has been much research on paying gating in any of that mechanism for injuries. Yeah. Yeah. Definitely..

"And they clearly landed somewhere in the middle but no an ob no siaka is pretty damn good for the raptors yeah that was the thing those are the two guys i wanna keep and i mean look the rose and salary becomes i think next summer will again if you are a demarco's and person and believes and all the player you know twenty seven seven in nineteen twenty twenties not a bad salary habit i mean look because really you could move them again if if you wanted to but yeah i it's it's just a confound the take away to me as well this is a team links the president and you know in its you could make a very good argument the creek which is that to retire in his final years with a competitive maximize and do what you've been doing for twenty some odd years and i don't blame them i bet against them winning fifty games as much as i don't love this rate for them and they need to figure out who's starting at the three and some shooting issues and yada yada yada i bet against them making the playoffs i may not pick them but they're going to be a good team my only hesitancy is they are they live on the dump teams like if you're just a dumb young bad team disperse can just stroll on the court and just pass you ended execute you to death forty times a year the way the west is now they don't got forty of those games you know like they just don't have a lot of those games where they're going to feast on these stupid unprepared teams who don't know how to execute nba basketball that's the one thing that worries me a little bit western hummers to you're going back to actively worse other than i could make the argument their decidedly worse than sheer and the answer is a one team at the kings gotten worse i mean you believe fox is gonna be one year better through other young guys way and yeah the all young guys gra mentally improve i don't think they're being they might not be much better but i don't think they're worse i virtually their youth yeah i believe one of kane's i don't believe that mean i'm trying to construct the point is you're right there's not a lot of western conference wednesday nights where the spurs are just going to school team yeah you know like the magic in the hawks come to town and the bulls come to town that's cool but like there aren't a lot of those games all those teams play in the east you gotta play these other teams were times i mean you look at the west it's like boil boy i mean it just we don't a lot of time to talk about it because roots bruce coming on but you're talking before you now we will be on the phone talking about our five most confusing confounding teams they write a fall and you talk just i mean minnesota that's volatile team are they allot no new orleans that's a little team are they lock no portland third seed last year i mean i bet my we'll stay so ad is my preseason mvp pick throw that out there he's what is it official it's not preseason yet it's interactive now it's like it's it can't be preseason until mid august yeah any other final thoughts on this other than the spurs are certainly just relieved it's over i think yeah as we all are you hit i mean i'm not gonna into the spurs they will they will make players they typically make players better i it's just gonna be really interesting to watch sort of spurs is really the last vestiges of spurs as we always talk about it or really gone from basketball standpoint and just be you know so that that that's interesting to me i may not talk to until september my friend enjoy your vacation yeah thanks for all the time and all the low posts and all the fun chats and all of that and enjoy your vacation as well and we will we will talk soon kevin arnovitz everybody eli's mom news she had a strong kick even back in the womb and from then on allie was always kicking ball and saying she was going to play pro soccer and one day mostly was kicking against a wall her skills drew even more attention boss said could you please stop that and those quarterly numbers i asked for turns allergist wasn't that good talker but she was a good accountant that's why she switched to gyco she knew they could save her a bunch.
