"A guy who's playing better than Durant. Let's put it that way. And playing better than anybody. I'll just say anybody. He's just he's a real, real problem. And I think we all know this. And I appreciate Kaufman for dancing and tiptoeing around this particular point lightly because a lot of it has gone against the Celtics to pass. I don't know what feels like a decade at this point. But since the new era of the Kyrie Gordon Hayward era, it's just been a lot of bad news this time of year for Celtics fans and it just feels nice for once to have a squad that's improving in health as we get later on in the postseason. I mean, we've had Grande on here a million times since the bubble. It feels like Kaufman and a lot of times will say that bubble team before Hayward got hurt was playing the best basketball onto the Brad Stevens era. And that team had a real shot at one of the title if it weren't for some injury prompts that they had. This feels like the most complete team they've had. Since then, and you wouldn't have argued that at the beginning of the season, but since 2022 happened, it's been quite the turnaround and they're getting healthy at the right time. Now, Jalen's obviously a situation to monitor, you know, and he's dealt through and gone through a whole bunch of injuries so his career himself, of course, last year, wasn't even playing the playoffs, so it's nice to see him back out there. But you know, everybody's going to be banged up this time of year. It's playoff basketball. Every single second of the 48 minutes is going to be intense. I mean, we talked about the Celtics winning that series, but like every single possession what felt like a do or die possession later got in the game, the more intense it got to the point where it's the iconic photo now of Al.

"Could have sold high on Antoine walker back in the day, I mean. Listen, we were texting about this because every single game now you get some kind of trade Tatum or jaylen Brown take. Every single game this is the most one of the most manufactured out of thin air storylines I've ever seen in my life. This is right up there with Kyler Murray's undefeated in Dallas because he won three high school games there. This is right up there with Ryan Tannehill, used to play. She was three and O against the Patriots. I mean, he's totally media contrived. They woke up on Sunday. It wasn't even close until they got a couple of garbage time touchdowns. Thoroughly outplayed Mac Jones. The dolphins are the most disciplined team. You asked me not to play a character and that you're going to bring that up. So whatever happens from here on is your mask on. Yeah. Has Tatum ever been as confident since bam had a viable block in the rim. I'd love to see his splits from before and after that moment. Okay, but in answers, as I was saying, before you rudely interrupted me and had to go full Boston guy, even as I was trying to throw you about trying to extend an olive branch, this is just absurdly silly manufactured storyline that makes no sense. Why would they trade either of jaylen Brown or Jason Tatum? There's no need to trade either of them, they're both exactly the kinds of players every single championship team wants. It's foolish to think of trading for any of them. We discussed this. I mean, you wrote your call last week about a potential jaylen Brown trade. And the whole point is it's like, what are you going to get back for jaylen Brown that's all of a sudden going to fix your team? I do think the front office, whether it's Danny ainge, who didn't have one of his old Celtics buddies to make a ridiculous trade form on his behalf this time, like Mikhail lynch 2008. Oh my God. Or the bug law and Brad, the cult leader, Brad Stevens. In all seriousness, though, I understand they've had some unfortunate situations that were a little bit out of their control where there was Kyrie. Gordon Hayward, to an extent, but the front office, I think deserves some scrutiny because I told you this before the season. We rewrite Jason Tatum ahead of Jimmy Butler, for example, on our top 100 list. It's so high. We both did. That's how high we are, Jason sandal. Yes. I don't think we think there's a huge gap between jaylen Brown and bam adebayo. But my point being, I think the Celtics have title contender cornerstones and Tatum and brown. And the fact that they haven't figured out the rest of the roster, I'm not saying it's easy, but when you have guys that talented to me, there's no reason that they should be in the position there. And I understand they've had injuries. They've had COVID. The bucks did the heat did the nets did. The bull certainly have every good team in the east..

All right, so we'll keep a bone out there and closing thoughts here before beyond telling everyone, if you haven't checked it out yet, obviously. GQ sports. Kevin Garnett is still breathing fire, but a talk of the web this week, Michael pina just the World Wide Web. The World Wide Web. The whole world is home world is and I'm sure Sports Illustrated is thrown Mike that you're giving GQ all this great pup. Even though it is good, now they can show you off even more, so. That's the ultimate delta of win win for you, regardless. The other big talk around the World Wide Web is this is my last winning place podcast. That's a big reason we had P and a in here as well. We've got to be good. This is the last one. This is the well, who knows? Maybe I'll pop on randomly in the future. This will be an Easter egg or surprise for anyone who made it this far into the episode. We're gonna find out who our true our true fans are. If they get the news. But yeah, it's been a nice run. When did we start this? Was it 1716? I'm like, I think our first episode, it had to be during the year you were covering the solids in Boston, right? So that was that like 1617? Yes, yes. That was when I was in Boston. The Isaiah Thomas season. The idea of Thomas that's right. We've been through IT. We've been through Kyrie, Gordon's broken leg, got it. The memories. The only thing we didn't see was a title. That was a title. Got close in the earliest. Got closest in the early days. 1718. Do you think how old how old did you guys think you'll be when you see the Celtics win another championship? Do you.

"The promo code is clns 50 BetOnline your online Sportsbook experts. So Mark Murphy, let's go back to the Brad Stevens discussion for just a moment here. And again, I don't think he's gone even doesn't think he's gone. I'm going to put words in your mouth. You don't think he's gone. I don't think any of us are calling for him to be gone and please do, you know interrupt me if if you do but let's just have the conversation for the fire Brad crowd that that's out there and then people saying, you know, just give us someone else this guy's overrated. He's not motivated team. What does he really want to hear above all the stuff that we always see on social media. He's gotta go. He sucks now again, I don't agree with any of that. But let's just say he's gotta go who would you want now? I've had friends of mine suggest, you know, assistant ex-assistant why you know guys that either, you know are retreads or haven't yet had that opportunity and and who knows I mean like Bruce Cassidy with the Bruins right wage, maybe somebody, you know gets the opportunity and and they actually do run with it and hey this, you know people were skeptical but this was the right move. I don't know who that guy is the only guy the birth Only guy that I can think of in the NBA that if you said to me Brands gotta go who do you want? The only one I can come up with this available obviously, cuz that's a big part of it for people that. Get dark. You can't have. I'm the only guy that I can think of Mark is Kenny Atkinson. That's the only guy that I can think of that. Yeah. He did some things with the Nets with you know, he he did a lot with a little as bread for so many years in Boston before he started to do a little with a lot. That's the guy the only guy that that I can think of I I would hesitate with him because she's a developmental guy. He you know wants the product mature that get rid of them, I think. You need a guy who can deal with the young Stars. I'm not sure that was Kenny Atkinson Forte either sure it, you know, the questions come up about how does bread deal with stars. I mean the I know they all left for different reasons, but you've you've lost Kyrie Gordon and Horford. Yeah, and I was there sure also would come back in a second if you go. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, if he and if he had been bought out, you know, it wouldn't have been surprised. Yeah, okay, but Yeah, it's the evidence is that she is High Caliber players don't stick around. So I don't know if they're not buying n Kyrie. I don't think I read about it. And I mean, that's pretty yeah, I mean you could argue like Alan and you know outlet for money Hayward left for opportunity and sort of money, you know, but but but but hey, we've been here. He's the one that did not buy in but Haler did not think this system was for him. And this is just did the update the system was for him or did he not think he has placed within the system that well? Yeah his place within the system want to be a fourth option. I'm not I don't blame them. I.

"And w X TV HD to Clearwater. Morning. I'm Chris Trackman. Our top story at nine o'clock. A little boy is dead after being left in a cold tub for 10 hours. Clearwater Police arrested 33 year old Shanta Belcher, the girlfriend of the boy's father. Investigators say Belcher couldn't wake up Kyrie Gordon on Saturday night, so she had her 10 year old son drag him into the cold tub. Left, and they're all night. So it's a very sad thing. It's very difficult when you're talking about a child is seven years old. That will be to go outside play anymore, or Play football or do with things that he loves. Lieutenant Michael Wallick tells news Channel eight paramedics couldn't revive the child the following morning, police say. Belcher admitted she should have called for help sooner. The hacker called police to report a fake murder involving explosives and then watch the police arrive on the doorbell camera. Sarah Courtney says she had no clue who did it. No idea. "L A Clearwater police have arrested a woman for leaving her boyfriend's seven year old boy in a cold tub all night, Kyrie Gordon was unresponsive when 33 year old Sean to Belcher tried to wake him up. Instead of calling 911. She had her 10 year old son, move him into the tub. Lieutenant Michael Wallace says it was a difficult case for the officer because somebody failed, Tolo. Take the appropriate action they should as a parent or a smother human being. Belcher called her boyfriend the following morning. By the time paramedics arrived, the child couldn't be saved, Police say. Belcher admitted she should have called for help sooner. It's called swatting. When someone calls 911 to report a fake threat being a hostage situation or a bomb threat, it causes police to jump into action and prepare for the worst. It happened to a north port family have the woman's email account was hacked, allowing a cyber criminal to access her ring doorbell camera, he suddenly found that the police SWAT team had positioned themselves outside her home. Somebody called in a false report of a potential homicide with explosives at a home didn't necessarily add up right away, but we had to take every precaution. Just in case Josh Taylor with North for police tells news Channel eight they were able to make contact with the homeowner and went through the process of confirming that it was, in fact, a prank. Rain confirms it wasn't the doorbell camera that was hacked. They strongly suggest homeowners change their ring passwords and secure their personal email accounts..

"Just payments and closing cost online in real time rocket Can he got the heat up on behalf on the Milwaukee Bucks? You got a game seven tonight. Will James hard and show up against His former teammate, and Chris Paul. Or Will Cp three be finding a way to continue to do what many people thought was unthinkable this year for okay, so you don't get to the postseason to win a postseason. Siri's especially up against Houston. When that trade happen. You could have told me this and I've been very critical of the rockets in the last three years. You could have told me that the rocket sort of lost in the seventh game to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs, and I would have never believed you. I would have never believed you. But that's a real hard tonight and obviously a pivotal game with it Being a Game seven. It's the final game of the first round. And last night you had the Denver Nuggets in a low scoring game, which bin the antithesis of what that Siri's was all about. You did see that it be a low scoring game. Aged 78, I think was the final and you did have the Nuggets, who almost threw the game away at the end, where they were taking a lamp. When you had a leading you don't need to do so. They missed a way out. You get Conley Junior open, he puts up the shot. It goes in and out, and you see the moment of respect afterwards where Donovan Mitchell is just distraught. He's on the court. He's crying and you see Jamal Murray go right up to him and once again to give you the stat that we gave you earlier, Don of the Mitchell on Jamal Murray combined to score 475 points in this Siri's That's the most combined by opposing players in a Siri's an MBA history. The previous record was by Jerry West and John Havel. Check in the 1969 finals, where it was 463 points between the duo of Jerry West, the logo and John Havlicek. So you had a tremendous seven games. Siri's their Nuggets now advanced, They'll play the Clippers. I like the Clippers in that Siri's Lakers await the winner of Houston, O'Casey and then in the East. Bucks already down one home. They're down six right now to Miami. So Bucks have to have a big second half and tie the Siri's up one apiece in Boston. We're joined by Cedric Cornbread Maxwell earlier. They're going up against a Toronto team. That is a very good team, a champion. They lose Co. I had the second best record in the league this year, and Toronto is down to Oh, At Boston team, but Jason Tatum is doing right now in the postseason. This dude is such a superstar and you got Jalen Brown, who's an underrated player? Tremendous to a player Campbell Walker is the perfect fit. Remember when we thought Boston was going to be around for a long time where they got to the Eastern Conference finals, he had that game or Tatum slammed right in LeBron's face. They lost that game as Who is it, Terry Rozier couldn't hit a shot. I think Jalen Brown also had a bad game. 72. They just could not hit a shot. And they all still almost won that game They lose. And people thought. Okay, you get Gordon Hayward back the next year. You get Kyrie Irving back, and we all know Carrie Irving was an absolute disaster in Boston. Now you go from where you were last year, where people then started to sell their stock with the Celtics. Tatum had a bad year last year or didn't take that next step. Kyrie ends up leaving Nowyou look where Boston is there. Two wins away from going back to the Eastern Conference finals. But without Kyrie Gordon Hayward still hurt. And you have a young core in Tatum and Brown that's leading the way. They are leading the way and Campbell is such a good player. I don't want to say that he's underrated because he's been an all star for so many years, and he's such a good player everywhere that that dude goes. You know, he just finds a way to impress you back atyou Khan. He was great. The piggies tournaments winning championship. Now you see what he's doing in Boston and It was. It was so unfortunate because When he was stuck with the Hornets. No, it's an organization that was nowhere close to winning. And and it was like, so unfortunate. You see a player that is that good in that special peaches on a franchise that is, let's be really just not all that good. So it's nice to see a guy like Kemba Walker. And the way that he had this rise in this sport, and they made the playoffs. I think like two times under Camba, I want to say they made the playoffs two times under Campbell Walker when he was with the Hornets, but it's nice to see him now, with the franchise that so well respected with history. And where they've been in the annals of n ba history. And you got Danny Ainge there and you got Brad Stevens too. And yet, Campbell, he got the Charlotte in 2011 at sea in 2011, and he was there. That first year they didn't make the plastic made the playoffs twice. There were 43 39 2013 2014, and they were 48 34 in 2015 2016. So it's nice seem get rewarded and Goto franchise that actually knows how to win. At Boston team there, back in that conversation is going to be around for a long time, and I wouldn't want to play them right now. I'm not going to count out the rafters, but I would be surprised the rafters come back and win this. Siri's If your Milwaukee if you're the heat, and the heat are a dangerous team right now, they are dangerous, especially with that guy Jimmy Butler gets in the fourth quarter. It's a close game. He's going to find a way to get it done. And we're going to learn a lot about Milwaukee here in the second half. Now, I'm encouraged by Milwaukee. Where they were down by 12 14. At one point I said, You've got to cut it about five points. They cut it to six. You've got to go in this game. You have to go in this game. If you go down to O to Miami, brutal, brutal, brutal for Milwaukee, and I'm not counting Milwaukee out. They could still clearly win this game. Is going to be a lot of buyer's remorse, and there's buyer's remorse for me right now. I thought all year long they were going to go to the finals. All you will not win it. But all year long I thought they were going to go to the finals. That team. If you want to look about teams that have been hurting the most from this pandemic and and the shutdown, the Bucks are probably the team that's hurting the most. As they looked invincible. They looked unstoppable. Hey, look like it was clear cut obvious that they were going to the finals. Since coming back into that bubble and restarting this season, they've been a totally different thing. Totally different team even lost one game against the magic. You have any honest onto the Campo being remembered, even though he's on the verge of winning back to back M v PS and already want a defensive player of the year this year, people when you will get your honest in the bubbly. Think of Not wanting to guard Jimmy Butler in Game one, and they also think about the two fights he got in the head by the Mo Wagner, which is unnecessary going up against a stinking wizards and you had the little altercation at Dante Hall, who don't they haul? Not the kick returner, not the punker Turner. Don't they haul of the frickin nets for crying out loud. Now in a situation where we will learn a lot about this Buck's team. And in the next 24 minutes. Because they got to find the way to win this game. As Johannes has little spin move and hits the front of the rim and Miami has the basketball 11 30 to go in this third quarter. Heat up 66 to 60..

"Of my own a few others celtics writers making kind like Clung Onto Jack. What do you think I think this is a narrative? Justin probably has the most voiced validity out of all of them because it's based off pass results and we can sort of see the evidence already there. And obviously it's unproven in Brooklyn Right now. The the results didn't occur Boston despite the high levels of town. But I think sort of touch you ought to get a little bit the locker room and personality dynamics of teammates. I think in comparison if you comparing njit brand through like a Costa vote as a one to one fifth has a a mole malleable personality. To decide I guess. Jelly brands is a bit more headstrong in a positive way. I Love Joan Brown that's just an NBA personality. And I think a lot of young guys in the locker room locked Jared Allen incredibly softly spoken you know just the other day coach to him John we need you to step up into more consistent. He's like okay consistent and that he has like two fifty and fifteen game game another twenty twenty game so I think the in terms of makeup in them roster I think Brooklyn is similar to Cleveland. Obviously it's going to be very hot to sort of say say unto and analyze and assess until we see Kim around the basketball court but I think it's also due to the fact. That commie chose this situation. Yes yes you know. He was motivated. Yes he wanted to come back to busted but he was traded there and despite everything and everything that he said and he didn't say Ryan that has been twisted and hasn't been twisted and came from his own mouth. He's choice was to come to Brooklyn in free agency Short Knox and coach Kenny directly. Luckily you know assessed him and how he would fit within their culture because they built the culture I and you you want to build a culture to bring the superstars and luckily enough that did happen happened. But in terms of just carry Puglia supplier and what he needs to succeed to reach he's pick individuals success and pick team success other Cleveland. It's number one thing. Kevin durant playing with you. You know your best friend. And what the one on one I at his best superstar in the lay off. I think it's GonNa be a pretty synergistic fit on the basketball court. You know obviously hopefully night get back to the level we all have saying of him and you know the we all know Lovin you know. He's one of the fifteen twenty best players in the history of the game. So I think as the one bay number two option behind Lebron behind the Kevin Kevin Durant. You can be a championship team with cargo having the ceiling with the car we ever as your number one guy restored in Boston. I think in Brooklyn I did. A pace virtually bassel in the preseason at the nets have a ceiling of the three seed. Always optimistic obviously. It would depend on health and probably detected into account enough but the floor. I think is higher than what we have at the end of the Russell as well so your car brings a lot. But I think he's individual talent levels up you'll floor but also so you have a student peak of your ceiling. At the same time I agree. I think that Kyrie Irving led team might not have a championship ceiling. I I think the Celtics from an offense standpoint it was a really great fit for Kyrie I think Brad Stevens loves to use a point guard and attack mode I think the problem is Unlike Care Sliver or Spencer Dinwiddie you had players like Terry Rosiere and Jalen Brown who had been featured players in the Eastern Conference offers finals against Lebron and they weren't about to become the seventh and eighth man While Kyrie bad Thanksgiving and has been so There was just way too many cooks in the kitchen at so it was a talented roster but the expectations were just something that I don't think any coach coach could have handled so And I think Jack Your Point doesn't get made enough Kyrie didn't choose the Celtics Situation I mean. I think there was some conversation when he was GONNA leave Cleveland that he would like to be traded to a team like Boston but It is not the same as going to the Bahamas and and handpicking your teammates like you got to do in Brooklyn so In terms of an offensive fit I think in theory Boston the way it was constituted last year the year before was spectacular And we never really got to see what could have happened with the Big Three of Kyrie Gordon Hayward Al Horford But like we said before Bambi is just chaos and so many crazy things happen such that. We never really got through that experiment. Play in the first place so speaking on things. We aren't going to see like tonight's as it's been very. Thank you the unwelcome reunion. I guess you could say our homecoming whatever you WANNA call it of Kyrie Irving to. Td Garden He. He's supposedly according to most of Celtics media faking or at least exaggerating this injury to not not play for his home as former home franchise as he supposedly did against Cleveland. And I kind of I kind of bought it a little bit when it was Cleveland but now that has become such a in Bic windass idea that he is blowing off games To avoid getting booed I mean. Do you guys like of miss out. I mean not to. He's GonNa get paid anyway but would you. Would you miss out on. You know you'd be. He's not paid millions of dollars to get you know a stadium of angry people. You know doing it you not wanting to do your job. I don't know it's just seems kind of well. Let's talk about what do you. What do you guys think of this? Narrative in the first place is a complete bowl. Is there anything to hit like. What are your thoughts? We'll start with you jack year. It's completely yesterday. Just elite as we have we been chatting a little bleach report notification that their their coward posted hanging out the side of TD Garden. And you know I mean Boston's fans will get up on their fields. And then most any any sports fan will get up in feels when you lose a generational supercell cargo having been. I think he would be happy with what you have. With the in relation to the whole L. Injury Narrative Cari having would probably relish opportunity to come up against Boston and started throw fifty point nod at him and so it in their face. It's a little bit because I think he relishes at least a subjective stamp what I see from him and what he is produced on occasions. I see him as a big occasion plan. Obviously what he did in Boston. The Post doesn't reflect that but I think when it comes selected national TV where he always seems to step up? I think in this the situation you know going back to Boston whether it's your we see him again when not necessarily when he goes back to Boston when possibly he gets back for for the Bach. DOC lies game which I don't think he'll be back just a personal opinion. I think it's I think it's silly deny at the very latest and I think it's dangerous at the worst is because you're you're questioning guys competitive nature and you're questioning a glass. You're competitive compass. Which I think from the most point in full hundred the four hundred ten MBA plies over on the lake all of them relish your paternity to go out and hoop on any occasion? And I think that a to suggest that he's faking it. I mean it's just it's just dumb. It's just stupid and I think it reflects more on if you think that that is your opinion opinion and our member Kendrick Perkins. The Guy who earns Jewish courts waited and responded to my tweets before it's all about the perk is a tax man. But it just again I think it reflects Poli on you if you have that opinion because your just a original in in your biases than it's almost dislike icon. Take anything else you might have that has validity or some legitimacy to it like if you say something about a car yeah. He did this but he also was really going might look believed anything you say because this one opinion is so bad and toxic eye. Contact anything else that you're saying seriously and I think your article highlighted a lot of energy tonight as well so I think it's just it it. It gets me worked a little bit trying to think about all the the people the Boston Globe Kendrick Perkins Stephen. I old isolated paypal. It's just you know I'll end the rambler just aside instead. I expect this from Stephen A.. I think Boston writers as a whole we can do better I have. I have had some green tea. Fan Fan boy. Kind of take stuff in the past like most of us have but I also acknowledge My my my bias is is my blindsides. How are you taking this Cam? I mean what does this feel like. Do you to me. I think it is a much much more alarming Thing thing that people need to take note of these vedic Kyrie Irvings. I believe this will be the seventh straight game that he is missing. Is that correct. Yup both Kemba and Kyrie are in their ninth season of service in NBA Kemba Walker has played six hundred. Twenty Games Kyrie his only played had five hundred. Nineteen Kyrie Irving is a fragile player. I think it lends itself to how he plays the game but at the end of the day he is. Someone who gets hurt hurt not infrequently in Boston. He played sixty games his first season. Just sixty seven the season after that He's already missing a big chunk of time. Here ear with Brooklyn I think He has played sixty one. Playoff Games So just because he's had time to rest his tired tired bones doesn't mean he's not had a long nine year career and I think that is probably Something Nets fans need to take seriously really that Kevin Durant and kyrie irving or two players That on any given stretch may be on the bench or or actually inquiries case. They won't be on the bench. They will come up with some sort of no surgery so that they don't have to be on the bench supporting their teammates So whether or not You're worried about Kyrie's injury history. I don't think that this injury is made up. I think that he is is truly has an injured shoulder and I think that he wouldn't miss six other games just to get out of Tracing the music in Boston having said that if if he was healthy I still think that he would come up with an injury and not play in. Tonight's game Jack I am questioning his his hunger. I'm questioning How how much he wants to get up and face? The fans boo boos. I think that everything I know about Kyrie Irving is that he would either fake an injury to get out of this game or otherwise completely. Shut the bed Oman so I am just going to go in jump in here. And I'll give I'll give jack.

"Actually feeling pretty good. Hopefully, it continues the rest of the week just like this. I think it started with a. A very practical gift from my next door neighbor and why throw in practical? Well, I'll explain coming up. It's been a theme of our show tonight. But I was taking a short nap. This is really short. Napa was more like a cat nap. Sometimes I think they're not even worth it. But I was laying down. I was listening to basketball may radio and I fell asleep for a couple of minutes. And then because I never lay down at night without setting my alarm the phone it does a little jingle jangle, and I wake up, and as I go outside to start the car clear off the windshield after the snow and the ice and the sleet and the more snow and more, sleet, I realize. My neighbor has completely cleared. Not just the sidewalk in front of my house. He's also cleared the driveway and my sidewalk up to my front door. Maybe he just felt like he needed some exercise. He did not use the snow blower because I didn't hear it. I would have heard it if it was right below my window, and instead he went out there. And he shoveled everything and he salted. And it was really cool at it. Just put a big smile my face. And maybe feel like I need to make them more cookies he and his family so at Christmas time because he often does kind things like that to help me out. I made a huge plate of cookies for them. And now I'm going to have to make more cookies. But anyway, that was a really practical way to bless me. And to make me smile and to help me out. I wasn't planning on shoveling the walk. I was just going to go out there and be really careful and hope I didn't do face plant in the snow, but he took care of it for me while I was prepping for work and then taking my cat nap. So we've been asking you on this edition of the show in advance of Valentine's Day. Are you a practical gift giver, or are you a romantic gift giver for Valentine's Day? Obviously, not everybody does gifts for Valentine's of you. Don't well, then you don't need to write and be Bah humbug about it. It's fine. You don't have to it's a free country. But in addition to my neighbor, recognizing what what I needed which was to have my walk cleared off before I left for work at night. I was talking to a friend of mine on Tuesday. And he was saying that he had someone coming over to interview to clean the house because that was his Valentine's Day gift for his wife is to hire someone couple times a month to clean the house because they both work fulltime demanding jobs. They have two boys who are in school and really busy. And that was his way of helping out giving her what she wanted. They had. Agreed. So that's not super romantic. But it's exactly what they need is a family and something that would make her happy presumably. And so we're asking you, practical or romantic and the the responses on Twitter and Facebook have been awesome. Some of you are deciding what your significant other needs some of you are saying, no way practical as the recipe for sleeping on the couch. Others of you are saying I try to be romantic, and my significant other wants practical now to this point. I've only heard for men I unless I've missed a tweet I have not heard from any females only heard from men, so dozens of you telling me your recipe for Valentine's Day, and I'm sure all of you have planned ahead. And what he told his team when they were trailing by twenty three points in the second half against Louisville. We'll start in the NBA. Joel Embiid is good for the NBA. Not only is he extremely talented dynamic and incredible. Big man with a lot of skills varied skills. But he just says whatever is in his brain. Sometimes it doesn't get to his brain. It just comes out his mouth. So the Celtics and the Sixers are playing last night. I remember this was a rematch of the Eastern Conference semifinals from year ago, and they were pretty tight games in that series. A couple of bounces here shots their decisions here. Calls there. Maybe that series goes a different way. But we also remember we talked to our Sixers insider earlier this week on the show, and he told us that there are two teams. The Sixers hate the Sixers fans despise. It's the Lakers at the Celtics. And so here are the Sixers and the Celtics, and it was a back and forth affair kind of many runs here and there but really competitive and down the stretch. Boston ends up pulling away, and they get some incredible play from Gordon Hayward. His last couple of games have been more like Gordon Hayward. And also Al Horford Terry Rozier didn't score for most of the game. Marcus smart had some big moments. It was a total team ever for them without Kyrie Gordon. Hayward dribbles.

"That. The traeger grill was fired up six AM Monterey. Maybe some sunshine around and some rain in the forecast. But I know there's some meat in the forecast and meet Friday songs as well. The boys are here fired up ready to go. Once again, if you're watching audience channel two thirty nine that's direct TV or the NBC sports network. We're at the other end of the driving range here at Pebble Beach. We'll have a poll question. I believe coming up. We got a stat of the day. We got play of the day all of that. And great guest list as well. Fritzy, would you tell the audience who's gonna stop by today? We've got Jordan Spieth coming by today. Chris Harrison of the bachelor and the bachelorette. Yeah. Mclovin. Got a lot of questions for him. Maybe some surprises air coming up as well throughout the show. But here for the next three hours in glad that you can Abbas party your day, in some way, shape or form an NBA trade deadline came and went they were interesting moves there. But of course, everybody was waiting for the big ticket item. That's Anthony Davis. And as I said at the start, I just if I'm the pelicans, I have no interest in trading him right now, they weren't up against the clock. Anthony Davis has got another year and a half. I I did say this yesterday. I haven't gotten an answer yet. And that is I was told the pelicans may just shut down Anthony Davis. But I don't know how you can shutting down if he's healthy. I don't know if you can have a healthy scratch here unless it's Gregg Popovich saying I gonna sit my starters for a game. Now, this is different. This is Anthony Davis. And if I understand what the pelicans are doing we want to make sure he's healthy. But if we sitting down we might improve our draft position considerably here, and we get a better better players. Well, but now comes down to the story lines. This year are Golden State and everybody else. I do think the east is up for grabs. I think Philadelphia did a good job Milwaukee was sneaky and doing it. You know, the Celtics to me your damaged goods right now. They're trying to figure out what's going on. They've added their own drama with Kyrie Gordon. Hayward has not been all the way back. He's been a liability at times, if you're those young kids, and you know, you might be traded for Anthony Davis. That's why the Lakers beating the Celtics with these kids knowing that LeBron wanted or wants to trade them and it's Rondo with the game winning shot. But that's got to be a weird dynamic. I mean, imagine if you guys as my team, and I come in, and I've talked to another show about acquiring some other players some other bookers producers, but you guys got to come in and do your job. But we gotta make sure that we, hey, we gotta do it. Well, and we got to be in a good mood here. That's what you have to do any of those. Celtic players who are surprise. Or will be surprised that they're traded have not been following LeBron James career because LeBron's done this before member. What was it last year where you said, I gotta I gotta get three young guys. Yeah, you're gone. You're gone, and you're gone. And then we'll just bring in these guys. So nobody's going to be surprised if you're the head coach Luke Walton, you're not going to be surprised if you're fired. Yes. Boeing, you might be surprised if you're not fired if you Luke Walton? Yeah. Like you said the Cavs last year it was like forty games in the season. He dumped half the crew. Yeah. And that's what he tried to do this year. Yes. Mclovin different is if you shop us my dad is not going to go on TV and complain about. Oh. Like, Anthony Davis dead or scenes, dad. Is that an early shot about art my dad's dead dead that humor early? We're we're four minutes into the show and we're doing dead dead humor. The opportunity. A long time. It is dark out. But you just made a darker in here that the earliest jobs, aren't I mean, what are you doing? Wow. Offered his shop the giving. I was doing a hypothetical and lebatardshow wouldn't take you. But realistically, my dad would never go on TV. But, but I was just saying imagine going to work knowing that that guy wants to fire you or wants to trade you. Rondo hitting a jumper to and like, Dan doing something brilliant like uncharacteristically good. Yes. Like, what are you doing? Why are you making that shot? Crazy. All right. We did have the Jim Nance par-three contests yesterday. We'll talk about that. I'm surprised we've been able to keep this under wraps from the news media. But the I team was there we do have video, but it was us five and Jim Nance. And there was crystal. There was a trophy. That was presented at the end of the par. Three contest. This is in Jim Nance has backyard had the music going. This is year two of the gym dance. Three points the par-three conscious. The music was blaring and Jim doing play by play. We had standing room only three round tournament, very very emotional extremely emotional. And one of those surprising twist at the end of the day. Yes. Paulie? The I team with on complete lockdown yesterday. We finished the gymnast par-three, invitational gymnastics backyard. We came back here and everything. Nobody tell anybody. And so all the people in the truck all the producers, all the I team can give you is this quote from Jim Nance the ledger. Gymnast Jim Nance, quote, I called UNBC beating number in Virginia. This is a bigger upset gymnasts. Yeah. That is a tease. Yeah. Rumblings. Yeah. Dan, Patrick show. Brought to.
