No sandra is is blocked with a means. Strike kylo riley tumbles. Because it's it's the leg. That cole was working on for the entirety of the match so then coal hits the panama sunrise. Finally and the last shots. Good night there. But is it weird. That i adam colin kylo riley who has such a storied history with each other. We're friends and who who are able to go. Can't seem to can't seem to put on like a real deal true to form classic or are they saving it for a rubber match. Because i don't want this to end on a fifty fifty. And but but that's not necessarily a especially not now but it's not bad idea before you get stuck being shorty. Gee it's not a bad idea to sort of embrace it and the seem like yourself aware enough in the in the in the to say let's have him start off as a butler. You who also is a small die that was inexplicably over for about six months. Virgil you know and and you could work with that. You can work with that at least start with some sort of self awareness. It's not. It's not the craziest thing in the world now. I know russel's wannabe be russia's. And i stepped up to meet him. The staff dropped to bunch eight by tens of the next wrestler. Told him i was last one. Despite all of this ricky still took the time to thank me for coming to see him. City was grateful for all of his fans and took a picture and signed autograph for me. I became a lifelong fan of ricky. Kyle and i never crossed paths. So i don't know if kyle is really this cool kyle character. I couldn't tell you okay. But we'll see the only thing that is a real criticism for me right now. Is that what. He cuts his promos. He seems very uncomfortable. He seems very nervous and he seems very uncomfortable and he admits during his promos. That this like. I got in done my matches. I've talked in the ring which is true and he's great in the ring fantastic but he seems very very uncomfortable doing whatever he's doing out there i don't know if he's not feeling the character or it could be that's how he is in real life but he is very nervous having to be out there and being made of promo and quite frankly if he's going to do it he needs to. He needs to practice. He needs to learn on the job at this point so i will give it time. But so far he seems very not comfortable which is not what you want to come across as as a main star on what is now a show on. Usa network with almost a million viewers only be fair to him. He still kind of walking down to the ring. He's just now doing it in a jeans jacket with a wacky shirt on. And that's my big problem with this. That's what stuck out to me. Why did you take those over. What many people in wrestling or lauding as the greatest match of the year being omega and page versus the young. Why did these two stand out to you. Further or more than the than bucks vs page page. Know mega bucks versus page mega. I mean it was a really good match and it's not to say that you know it shouldn't be in the top five if not the match of the year but you know i think that mindset at the time was like everybody's gonna have this on their list and i kinda wanted to change it up a little bit. I you know probably was my mood. You know at it was probably at like five point five or six just outside five but Pocket omega they put together two of the best matches that i saw over the course of A year you know the one match that they had it all out when we went And then of course this match on on dynamite it was it just. It was hard hitting physical match You know had good story line. And i just. I really enjoyed watching those two in the ring. It had good storytelling Orange cassidy coming out of the trunk at one point and You know what's his name's mom picking them up at the end of the match. it was just. It was a lot of fun to watch. And i really enjoyed that. So you put rains and mcintyre similar to everyone else. It's it's really funny to me three well. Not everyone else. Three others put. The rains in the drew mcintyre and roman reigns match from survivor series. In their top five matches me i went. Everyone had accepts. Many had a fucking roman reigns match on there. Because he's just fucking killing it right now. But i had roman reigns vs kevin owens at tlc in my top five matches. I thought that that was wwe's match of the year right. Felt like a pre-match interview for a ufc fight like this didn't feel like oh i'm gonna beat you up. Well no beat you know it was just so impassioned and like there was clever stuff about it to my favorite was the fact that the beginning obviously thatcher wasn't able to wrestle at the fire pit at new year's evil because of an undisclosed injury ciampa looks at me goes. What is that injury. Tell me what it is and thatcher looks at me goes. It won't affect the fight. Don't worry about it and that's smart. That's so smart. I actually watched it right before the show and like you. I didn't quite finish the main event. And i'm going to as soon as i'm done with you here because that's the kind of wrestling that i really liked. Just you know the mat work. The trading of old just. It felt like a real sports contest. I'm a big fan of both guys. And i was really enjoying that match so i'm anxious to go back and finish the main event because those guys are just topnotch it. I'd have to go back and kinda like look at segments from from pastimes. But that may have been the best head-to-head as far as matches go in and wednesday night war history. I mean they counter program not even counter programs. You just put your best foot forward there for your main event and both sides certainly did it. It's going to be interesting to see what got everybody's attention because from what i saw. I mean it's ballard o'reilly and from what i it wasn't. It didn't feel as epic as the first match but then again i haven't seen the end is as yet to but with that said i mean it was still a hell of a match and for me personally being a little bit more old school and enjoying that work a little bit more. I mean for as much as people were hyping up. Phoenix and kenny omega and make no mistake. That was an awesome match. You know we'll find out what you think here but o'reilly in in valor. You can't put them in the ring and not get something out of it. That's not gonna be awesome and considering aid of sorry. Tease audience does tend to skew that puts them closer to your age group. That likes that matt style. Work that leans towards like of the two matches. I do prefer the kylo. Riley finn ballard style of match. So i think t probably served its audience. Well and obviously the. The younger audience loves the kenny. Omega phoenix stuff. Which was spectacular. So it'll be interesting to see who Who wins the night. I'm afraid that maybe the news unfortunately but we will. We will see. What did you think about How everything went down with aws. Last night. I mean we've seen it for years you know in wrestling beat downs and group faction beat down you know. They really picked up steam during the monday night. Wars aero with the w. o. Being people down putting up the the hand signal the wolf pack hand signal on into bullet club and new japan and everything it meant there and then we see the next extension of this. The good brother. Show up. Karl anderson and doc gallows showed up on impact last night at the end out there helping to beat down jon moxley alongside the young bucks. Who also came out as well as kenny omega. In don callous. You know for a lot of people in in new japan's long in the tooth and they've gotten tired of it when it comes to. Aws people have been waiting on this waiting to see if we get gallows and anderson in there and waiting to see if we quote unquote get the band back together. What did you think about the post match angle and the beat down and are we probably reading ourselves for week after week. After week of people on impact. Eighty w laying there in a ditch. I don't think so. But again i i liked it now. It should preface this by saying for some reason audio kicked out for the main event. So i couldn't feel it but chris. Jericho burned it out by screaming. So much could be. Yeah but i did like the angle. I like the fact that they gave us the clean finish on the main event. They didn't give us the bs of the the good brothers or anybody else coming out i they delivered and i think that's important and i think that can be the difference maker for aew to not overdo this still deliver the clean finishes we want. Then if you wanna do that angle. That's great. I don't understand yet. The young bucks coming out and to sweating with them. That seemed out of nowhere for me. But i thought the good brothers were a nice influx and i'm anxious to see where this goes started off pretty odd to with the young bucks. Scu against a hybrid and the acclaimed. I know dave has been big on private party. You know he loves the the the the moves and has been on them for a while top-flight also as well too. I mean obviously you see with with both of those teams. How well they could do. But i've been a little bit more partial to the acclaimed. And i don't think it's the hip hop thing. I don't know. I just look at them and i see a whole package that they don't really have the ability obviously to have this spectacular move. Set that either private party or top-flight. Do but i think overall all around if they can come along in the ring i mean. I love the package in the presentation. And the presence. Especially that max castro has already you know as a guy that's trained a lot of people and obviously we watch a lot you know. What do you think about the acclaimed as it stands right. Now you know in there with those three other veteran tag teams and do you see what i see or am i really kind of overselling low bid and getting blinded by a little bit of the shininess i think the verdicts is a little bit out. On how far they can go but i am like you a big fan of them and i think as heels. They don't need to have quite the spectacular set of moves at some of the other guys. Do i actually. I did a. Nwa legends fanfest training camp years ago. And max was one of the guys there. And i thought he had potential then and that know probably five years ago now i could be off by a year or two but he showed potential then. He was a really nice guy very respectful. So i'm very happy. He's given that shot. And i think that's a tribute also to aws tag team division. Which i've always been a fan of tag team back. You know midnight express days..

Where abidine being avedon dragged shida under the ring and they went with a very by the way. Nice touch on this. Because they didn't beat it to death. They had a very nice shot of the big show. Show or the go big show. I should say the ring apron as they crawled underneath their so nice. Advertising job done there by tnt. Does they came back out from under the ring. Here comes avidan with blood all over her mouth or what's purported to be blood or is chris. Jericho said that's visceral blood. But does that mean. I don't even know what that means lance. This is not my cup of tea. I don't know why a woman doesn't need medical attention or at least a doctor to check to make sure that she's not bleeding out and going to die. There's been a lot of companies that have been doing this and in each case the dark realm and impact. I didn't like. I don't like the bray wyatt fifth and sixth dimensions and getting set on fire. I didn't like when kane and undertaker pulled people to hell under the ring. And i don't like the abbott on thing. It's to me if you want to be a wrestling promotion and be sports based you can't be theatrical based like. She's not really a zombie and they tried to explain that she's not really zombie. But why is she supposedly biting chunks out of people's next that he'll during the match. I don't understand that it just ruins it to me and to be perfectly honest. I don't think it was that good of a match. I didn't think so either. One of the reasons why is even. If you like abba donna. Lot i mean one of the biggest problems. I have with the women's division and this has got to be on. Tv of person should be on tv. Is they're not really ready to be on tv. And i know. You know where his nyla rose been. There's there's a long line of people and people want to see. I think people rushed out there on tv too much. And i don't think it's good tv. And i don't think the matches of that good and it's got nothing to do with the women involved. It's not their fault. In some cases. I mean these are. They have a lot of not ready for prime time players. They will be down the line. they obviously have a. They're putting a lot of value in dark. Getting these people work as much as they can right now but i thought that was a great example of why is this a world title match. Why is this why he has the. She's bitten carshield is. She scared her into giving her a title shot. I just was a lot. I think wrong with this with me and with a character like heaven. How do you take this into. You've now tried established her as a a literal eater a person that will bite. The talent is not there in the rain. Compared to serena deeb and again not an insult but compared to serena deep thunder rosa. Lot of other people on that roster. It's not there. How do you try to make some hay out of abba. Don do you give her a kevin sullivan type of manager and you start to morph the character that way you just make her go away for a while are us so sick of seeing all the supernatural stuff. You just want her to go away altogether. How do you try to to try to save this thing because it is wrestling you do want to have characters like cain you do have some of these wacky characters. Is there any way to save this for yours or any way to bring it along in a more intelligent comprehensive way. I think for me to use the abbott on character. I'd rather her be a manager because you can choose the announcer saying that okay. We realize she's not really zombie. But it's like this woman is crazy. This isn't makeup. She puts on to come to work. This is how she lives her life and she could be a crazed again. I don't wanna say cult leader but a crazy person that leads a group that are a little more real world based that. Just have this crazy person. That's what she's a devil worshipper. Whether she's just crazy and insane believes she's azzam ambi- but when you start biting and no selling and it's like we have to believe she has legitimate powers of some kind if she only had powers of influence over wrestlers that could have matches. I think i could stomach better one of the other. Obviously one of the big things about last night show was snoop. Dogg was going to be there to hype the go big show and i don't know i mean i was not expecting him to like you know. Have a big smoking circle. Have martha stewart know drinking corona needing toes-to-toes. And anything else that he happens to be pushing right now. But i thought he would do a lot more than what he did. And the first time we saw snoop dogg private party for signing young boy deals with matt. Hardy were matt. Hardy would take thirty percent of his purse as snoop dogg. Just kind of stood there like this now snoop dogg's been in the wrestling business for a long or have been in the recording business. The music business for a long time. There are three sixty deals. There's all sorts of shady things that happens and i would have thought with a guy saying he's gonna take thirty percent. We could have gotten reaction out of snoop and now you just steady like okay. Let's the segment over with. Because i know. I'm going to jump off the top rope a little bit later on and he did with roads and i was wondering why in this cody matt sidell match.
