Now Kinsey is off to Australia, where she'll meet with other international winners of the contest and present ideas to those who make the cochlear implants. I feel really excited. I don't think it would be fun to meet kids from different countries that are like our deaf like me. Her idea was meant to offer confidence and perhaps a sense of pride for those who have to wear the devices. Kenzie's mom tells kpt, the girl was the first to receive that extra boost from this project. I was just super proud of her, I thought this would be a great confidence booster for her.
