"The Tuesday morning 4th of October, welcome in. 19 Lang glad you were taking us along with you for your early morning ride, following the 2 a.m. hour this morning stories we were looking at for you. We have an update is where we begin on WTO. To a story involving possible sexual abuse of children, the archdiocese of Washington and Arlington are both responding now to the allegations and a local pastor abused mining. The diocese of Arlington says the allegations were disclosed to them a week ago Friday and they immediately passed on the information to the police and the archdiocese of Washington. The Washington archdiocese says in a statement, it is contacted police and shared what it knows with the holy cross Catholic Church in Garrett park, Maryland, with a pastor is serving. WTO is not naming him because no charges have been filed. The alleged abuse apparently took place in Virginia before the now reverend was ordained back in 1991. Alexandria police say no charges have been filed, the reverend is on administrative leave. Kyle Cooper, WTO V news. Meantime, U.S. soccer failed its women players, the gist of a new report out this week on that issue commissioned by the national women's soccer league. It apparently points to systemic verbal and emotional abuse from coaches to players and sexual coercion. And this gave the report included situations we're told involving the players with the Washington spirit. The report detailed allegations of abuse committed by former spirit head coach Richie Burke, a player described Burke as someone who you psychological games with nonstarters. WTO Jose omana has been covering the situation involving the spirit he says many of the allegations against Burke have already been revealed, and he says Burke continues to deny the allegations and mania says after Burke, leadership of the team shifted. I think they're in a better spot than they were last year compared to some of these other clubs that have ownership that as the report states basically allowed in fostered this kind of behavior. "Analyst at. I had nightmares thinking about the damage she created in my life that day. Well, those mislead that let you sleep in the house, you all right. You know, there are some good news. So while we were doing this thing with Laura the other day, and I hated it, but my wife was the satellite was out where we live because of the hurricane. Right, right. She doesn't know anything about it. Pull that, I pulled that one off, didn't I? There you go. Thank you very much for the call. Yeah, the satellite did. Untold damage. And by the way, we heard from a guy who said he just got his power back on in Florida and I would think it's going to be a long time for some of the people. Down at Santa bell beach and Fort Myers anyway, thanks for the call. Appreciate it. Austin is in Virginia. Hello, Austin. Hey, Paul, thanks for having me and I love the show. Thank you very much. I'm a longtime longtime Aggie grew up in College Station with the a and M consolidated high school even. So I've been living with pulling defeat out of the jaws of victory for more than a few years. But and I'm not going to make any excuses. It's football and it's each day. But my bigger concern is how we've elevated all these high school kids and how you can say this kid's the number one kid in the country. And then you have the number one recruiting class. Based on what? These kids have played in big series and big it's all a shell game and it's unfortunate because it creates I understand. You have to create hype, but it also creates the let down and all those things that everybody gets frustrated. And then my other try not to make a big deal about it. But Texas a and M used that as their calling card, as you know. Yeah, I know. And we've made a big mistake with all that. But my other part is with Jimbo, I think Jim will be it may be time for Jim better to take more of a bigger role in turnover offensive coordinator and turn over those things. And just be the recruiter that apparently he can be. He's a good recorder. So yeah, so, you know, there's no pride in letting go of that, Jimbo. I mean, all of our times passes by as we get older. But also, I've watched this before. I remember watching it at auburn a couple of years ago where the boys in the back room came in and took the play calling away from Gus mills on. And then it didn't work. So then he said, I'm taking it over again. But remember, even if you bring in another play caller, he said head coach. It is his decision to make. So I find all that red or and that's usually media talk on a coach is not really in trouble, but needs to do something is you start talking about bringing in new coordinators. Now sometimes you bring in a creative mind who can change the landscape. But when you're an offensive coach, as a head coach, it's not easy to defer that response. Right. So yeah, it's been an unfortunate year for us, but we'll see what happens. I'm frustrated, but for the longest time I'll still be an eggy, so and I'm glad to be part of the SEC and what it's done for all of us. Thank you for that. I will say I'm sure Jimbo Fisher is reminding his team of this. That everyone a year ago was making the same mistake that we're making today. I'll never forget we were supposed to go to College Station and we detoured. And we were sitting there in Lexington last year, joking about Jimbo Fisher and what the score was going to be that night against Alabama. And he pulled it off. And I'm not saying that's going to happen. I think winning at Kyle field and winning it right any stadium or two different things, but that is Jimbo Fisher's motivation this week. I can't think of too much else. Thanks for the call. Appreciate it. Roger is up next. A hello, roger. Hi, Paul. Hi are you doing? We are doing great. Thank you. Good deal. Hi. I was just going to call and say, I think it's just about time to Brown bag over Kyle field. I know earlier you had said that you thought that the aggies could possibly win 8 and four go out 8 and four this season or 7 and 5. Be honest with you. I only see him finishing up somewhere around 66. I only think they have a chance against the gamecocks and maybe all burn and use masks. What do you think? I think a and M is, I'm not going to fall under the trap and write them off yet for this reason. They've got enormous talent on that team that by now as we move past the first third of the season until the midpoint of the season and a week or two, they may start playing better. The question I have, though, I'm talking mainly defense. I don't know what they're going to do on offense. Yes. I don't know how they just have to it's impossible for me to believe they can generate enough points to beat a really good team. Yeah, I agree with the previous caller. I think that Jimbo's probably going to have to give up to play calling or. Very well after everyone having just been out in Texas. I heard from a lot of my friends out there, they are all saying that next year was going to be the year. That right. This year, were they overrated at number 6 in the country, I think that's obvious. But what's also going to happen here is if this continues. And I'm making a value judgment on the 3rd of October. But if they lose a couple more games, Jimbo Fisher is going to be the most discussed coach in the off season. He's going to be dealing with enormous pressure on one

John Zmirak: 'We Are All Mark Judge Now'

"Mirac, what else should we talk about? Well, I actually have a column on discussing what we were just talking about Cole. We are all Mark judge now. And that's at the stream. We are all in or soon will be in the same position of people like your own courtesy and Mark judge and Kyle rittenhouse. We face a regime that is an existential threat to the people of the country. The way the French did after May 1940. We face a hostile occupying government that is not legitimate that does not look for our consent that is intent on silencing us and persecuting us if we try to claim back our national sovereignty. That is the gravity of the situation. When I was talking to the good people in the audience at Christians engaged, I said, you think you're in America. You're not. You're in shine. And the media are virtually all state media, and they're virtually all repeating party propaganda. But there are broadcasts coming from abroad. There are little samas signals, like the BBC broadcasting into occupied France. And those are media like the stream, like Eric metaxas, like Steve Bannon's war room, like American greatness, Julie Kelly's reporting on the January 6th protesters. Revolver news, there are epoch times. I heard that epoch times is now the fourth largest newspaper in America. If that's true, that is extremely encouraging news. Because The Epoch Times is one of the only papers that would tell the truth about the vaccine.

"I know it's Jimmy G and yes all he does is win. But bigger picture here. The niners went all in on Trey Lance and it's sort of like Jimmy still hanging around. It's like, all right, I don't have a date for the dance all dance with you for a little while. I wonder if they have a quarterback as they move on this entire season into next season. It feels like there's a myriad of possibilities right now for them, right? Like Jimmy could play really well and they bring them back, Jimmy could play terrible and they move on and it's Trey Lance's job. I guess I feel like at this point it almost would be hard to go in the next year with only Trey Lance. It feels like they'd almost have to give themselves another option and that might be the thing that helped Shanahan out the most. Even if the niners have a down year is ownership probably wants to at least have one year where they can see what Kyle Shanahan does with the guy they traded up to get the number three overall pick the draft. We're talking to Ross Tucker joining us on behalf of DraftKings, host of even money, betting podcast, game analyst for CBS, Westwood one also the eagles on the call for the Bengals and ravens next Sunday Night on Westwood one. I was wondering why the NFL doesn't allow a third quarterback on the sidelines. So you don't have saquon Barkley taking snaps. What's the big deal if you have a practice squad quarterback who's on the sidelines in uniform and it's an emergency situation only. The only way he can get in is if the quarterback is injured. Is that kind of like the goalie and hockey who sits up in the booth unless there's two goalies in injury and then the guys like a plumber or something and he goes out on the field. I don't know if he's a plumber, but yeah, you're right. I love that. I love when the emergency goalie is used. I do think the NFL should consider that. I guess the counter argument is Dan, you're allowed to promote two guys from practice squad now. So you're allowed to have 55 guys on the active roster, you're allowed to dress more than you ever used to before. I think the NFL is really saying to people, hey, the onus is on you to have three quarterbacks dressing. Like the dolphins did, by the way, Thursday night. Thursday night, last Thursday against the Bengals, they activated Skylar Thompson, The Rookie from Kansas state to make sure they had three quarterbacks eligible. So I like where your head's out there. I think they probably should consider that, but if they don't, these teams need to think about it because man, we had Bailey zappy playing, you know, we've had some interesting quarterbacks out there saquon taking direct snap. Did you only have two, that guy's two steps away, then you have banned Daniel Jones? Well, I think has a pretty bad ankle sprain out there. He can't really protect himself. That's probably not real good, not a real good look for the league either. Before I let you go, I'm curious about this with offense and defense. You played on the offensive line in the NFL. If you're the Lions offense and then you run into the lion's defense.

Dr. Khalil Habib Joins Charlie to Discuss Montesquieu

"At hillsdale college. I thought it'd be fun to kind of get a series of experts from hillsdale college so you could get an idea of why am I always bragging on hillsdale college. Well, just the couple of awesome people we have doctor Khalil Habib, we did a whole series with him. I want to get back to that. I missed that. And so we're working on getting that back. He's really special. We had him on to talk about Nietzsche and many other things, and it's doctor Habib joins us right now. Doctor Habib, welcome back to the program. Charlie, it's good to see you a long time. Yes, it has been long, and we have to do it more often. So I understand you're teaching a course on montesquieu, Locke and many other things. So my montesquieu is, let's just say, not as sharp as it should be, at least I did remember he wrote a book called spirit of the laws when Kyle mentioned it. Why is it important for us to know montesquieu or understand montesquieu to properly understand the American founding and tell us who montesquieu is? So montesquiou was an aristocrat from France and he had published the spirit of the laws in around 1750. And many of our early founders had actually read it in French. And it was quickly translated into English, and he's one of the second or third most quoted authority among the early American founders when it came to debating what exactly is the purpose and role of government. Now, to be sure, Locke is central to that debate and where the founders take locks understanding of natural rights, very seriously and Locke's idea that consent of the governed is the only legitimate form of government, but where montesquieu comes in is log has a very early version of the separation of powers. So he separates the executive and the legislative branch. And it's a bit of a mystery where he puts the judicial branch. It's somewhat shared by the executive and the legislative. For law with respect to domestic issues, the legislative branch does have some control over the judiciary, whereas when it comes to international relations, the executive. Now, when montesquieu writes the spirit of the laws, he's very reluctant to go down that path. What he wants is a far stricter. That's a word. Separation. And so he identifies three powers that any government has, whether it's a tyranny or whether it's a republic, there's three powers. The question is, how would they organize and assemble? Who has control over them? The executive, the legislative and the judicial.

"I'm talking to Johns mirac, John, you're telling us the tragic tragic story of Jake gardiner. This is like, we should be writing novels about this. We should be writing stories. I mean, nonfiction books should hit the bestseller list on the story of Jake gardiner among other things. It's unbelievable. Jake gardiner is what happened. It's like what happened to Kyle rittenhouse with the tragic ending. So Jake Gardner had defended himself against one of the thousands of George Floyd rioters turned loose on America. It was trying to destroy his bar stealing his stuff, attacked his elderly father, and at the moment was trying to choke Jake gardiner to death, Jake shot his attacker. Mobs from Black Lives Matter and antifa terrorized the local prosecutor until they charged Jake gardiner was first degree murder. Which of course is absurd first degree murder involves planning. It involves malice of forethought, but then they did that with Kyle rittenhouse too. When people running after you with guns and screaming kill him, kill him. And you shoot in self defense. That is not first degree murder. That's not that, but anyway, it's not funny because GoFundMe shut down his fundraiser. He had been raising tens of thousands of dollars to hire a lawyer. So here he is, he has no attorney. He has no money. He has no income and his city has turned against him and is calling him a racist killer. So Jake gardiner book his own life. "Fundamental disconnect between I think America's understanding of what the FBI is and then what it is in actuality And we kind of touched on it a little bit ago but everyone looks at this group and they think this is a self proclaimed I would say premier law enforcement organization in America But the FBI views itself more as an intelligence agency And when you deal with an intelligence agency you get intelligence analysts and you get intelligence people And intelligence people have a totally different mindset than a criminal investigative group And so you know my experience and part of the reason why I ended up on a surveillance team was because I couldn't grasp the idea of grabbing knowledge for the sake of knowledge that was non operational And we never had any we had no instinct or ability to pursue it In fact the squad that I worked on if we found a case that got to a level where there was some criminality involved it probably got moved over to another squad that did that exclusively So all of our job was background And so in some ways I had a sort of an external seat because my ability to get my hands onto a lot of the things that I joined the bureau to do It never materialized But I got to see it from the outside as a support agent You know we really have two kind of cast but I only have three casts of agents You've got your administrative agents that are interested in supervisory roles and moving up and some of them I have no beef with and some of them are terrible A lot of them are probably terrible And then you've got your case agents and these people are your hound dogs They just run down stories They want to know what the interest is They're getting paper and they're building cases And then you have people that kind of do all the other whether that's surveillance or S.W.A.T. or medical support for the arrest warrants and things like that or evidence recovery teams and kind of all the peripheral pieces that make that agency work That's another kind of group But your pool of cages is pretty narrow And I feel like it's narrowing in a lot of ways because some of these things are not about it's not about getting the case done anymore

Kyle Mills on New Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp Thriller 'Oath of Loyalty'

"Call mills, let's start about with placement. I always talk to my thriller writers about where they begin and where they Uganda and South Africa play big roles here. It's South Africa is familiar to Mitch rap readers. Why you ganda? Why are we in Uganda at the beginning? This is where one of the characters lives. And I like the idea of it because it's really off the map in a sense of if you really wanted to get away from everything and get away from any threats to you. That's a nice place to be because there aren't very many agencies that have a lot of capability there. It's a little more chaotic. The other thing you have to think about now when I'm writing is cameras, you know, it's extremely difficult to operate somewhere like London or Beijing or many countries Saudi Arabia that you're not constantly on camera and being analyzed by AI. Yeah, and what's interesting is when Mitch goes back to his house for the first time, he doesn't even trust his own personal network security, even if it's built into the walls. He has to have a bunco hole. He's got to be able to get away from his own house, even though he's built fortress Mitch rap. But that is, I think, a good caution to everyone. Did you talk to security experts about this? Oh, yeah. Well, the time. Yeah. It's hard to keep up with because the technology just moves among almost monthly. The capabilities of it.

"I remember I was asking some of the local here in education and I was asking all the good work happening. What's apartment is really making the biggest difference for kids. I just wanted her to tell me, okay, do this or go work for this organization or think more about this topic. And she unfortunately she didn't give me that nice answer. She said, Kyle, what is making the biggest difference for kids is when all of these different ideas and industries and fields are working together. And when everybody is coming and collaborating together. So maybe it's the policy side, maybe it's the curriculum side, our experts and mental health, when all that is coming together, that's where the difference is being made. That has been on my mind a lot. How do we get people to come together to really make changes that need to be made in education? Just what you were talking about is school did not fit you. Maybe the school needed to change a little. And so how can we make school for everybody and be a welcoming place for everybody? And there needs to be maybe some more coordination between all these different fields and all these different areas of expertise and having that idea of bringing the people together has really been on my mind a lot. And finding that synergy between all of our different areas of expertise. Where would you see yourself beginning? What would be your first outreach? You're like, no, I'm not prepared for that, but you know what? I don't have an answer for you. I did not mean to throw you a question where you're like, um, I'm playing. Girl, I wish I had an answer for that. You know what? I must spend spending my summer mulling that over. Where I really want to direct these like my energy moving forward.

"What if there are people who can't stand on that spell till time? What if there are people who are waiting to pick off or drop off a sick kid? Do they have a place to set? And so to take that little bit like, oh, I'm hot, this is annoying. And instead of being like, okay, all these kids are whining. She's like, okay, yeah, notice that. Yeah. Let's see. What does that mean that our school doesn't have any benches for our community? It's like that thinking that really sees this essence in kids and really mirrors it back to them in a way that they can really make a difference with. Now, during your ten years, I mean you started as a third grade teacher and I know from previous conversation and reading more of your bio that you had this you have this passion for reading and you spent now the latter part of your career as an interventionist. Let's transition to talking about that and first, what's the Kyle definition for interventionist? I know, right, every school district has their own meaning, their own acronym, all that stuff. So this year I was a reading interventionist and it did mean a different things based on the kids I was working with. So for some kids, I was really walking through some pretty intense intervention to either qualify them for special education or to determine that they wouldn't need it. And then for some kids, I was seeing every single kid in the class in some ability groupings for reading, basically allow throughout the day. It was pulling small to medium sized groups and really working with literacy on them. When you begin to pull out the students, how do you work with building that camaraderie and that relationship with you, as well as the relationship that they have with their core teacher, their homeroom teacher.

"Public doesn't think about demographics and how that plays into trends in the market and how we sell gear. So if you're talking to an athlete that's like starting to make a name for themselves now, how do you tell them like this is what you do to market yourself better, as that's one of the things that is so interesting is that there's so many intangibles that get you paid. Yeah, that you can't just be like Kyle is this Kyle is this Kyle is this to like a brand? They just know who you are and they feel it out and they're like, this is why he's worth it to us. Yeah. And that's one of the hardest things. But what would you say to somebody who's like in that position now, trying to figure that out? I think that there's two main things is one communication, like everything about success in being a professional athlete is building relationships. So you can not, nobody is a paid athlete because they are the radish skiers. All the people that are.

"Hi, this is he high author Kyle green. I'm going to share with you my evening meditation to wind down with the angels. So many of us are sensitive. And we don't even realize how sensitive we are. I've come to understand that so many of us because we are so sensitive, we are picking up on carrying the energy of our day with us. If we do not make a conscious choice to disconnect from the energies of our D, which at times can be quite dramatic and overwhelming, that's the energy that we bring to bed with us, and that's the energy that we take into the sleep state. That energy can affect us and negative ways and can impact our sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. So this meditation is going to welcome in the presence of angels. We're going to disconnect from any unwanted and unnecessary energies that could be hooking into our energy field and draining us. Then we're going to connect with our intra self and remember that we are the keeper of our mind and body, and then finally, we're going to clear the space around us before welcoming in a bubble of light from the heart of source. You deserve to feel safe, you deserve to go to bed knowing that you are protected. And you deserve to go into the sleep state so that you can claim a sense of rejuvenation and replenishment. This is.

"I know that's something in the Kenosha. I mean, the Kenosha trial. But this camera's in there. It's definitely cameras up in there and it's definitely people taking pictures of the jury's and everything like that. We know what's going on. So we need the same results, man. We need the same results. Justice for Dante right, justice for also. Oh, we need the same results. We have cameras of the jury. That is the illegal what he is doing. Yet the Department of Justice is too busy trying to go find a diary that belong to Biden's daughter while you have George Floyd's nephew May he rest in peace always saint George Floyd. May we owe his memory always be a blessing. It's ridiculous, how we have to put up with this charade for a couple years. And meanwhile, his nephew is threatening jurors in Kenosha. What I want to just say, though, that there is an unexpected hero. And that is the judge, Bruce Schroeder, he is a true wisconsinite, and he is pushing back against this aggressive prosecution that is unfairly trying to frame the case into something that it isn't. So let's go one by one. Let's go to 78, the judge is scolding the prosecution. By the way, where were judges like this standing up against election fraud? Where were judges like this standing up against the balloting issues? Where were judges like the standing up? Against any of the abuses of power we've seen, where are the judges like this that stood up against the Pfizer Warren app Warren application to spy on Donald Trump? This is how judges are supposed to work when the prosecution acts reckless and ballistic. Play cut 78. Why would you think that that made it okay for you without any advanced notice to bring this matter before the jury? You are already I was astonished. When you began your examination by commenting on the defendant's post arrest, silence. That's basic law. It's been basic law in this country for 40 years, 50 years. I have no idea why you would do something like that. And it gives well, I'll leave it at that. So I don't know what you're up to. Then cut 80 the judge continues by saying the prosecution, this is not permitted. This judge is how every judge in the country needs to be about standing up for the rule of law, standing up for due process, standing up for the constitution. Play cut 80. To what has already been introduced. The problem is, this is a grave constitutional violation for you to talk about the defendants, silence, and that is, and you're right. You're right on the you're right on the borderline. And you may, you may be over. But it better stop. Understood. This is I can't think of the case that an initial case on it, but this is not permitted. All right. Yes, did you already come in please? This judge dismissed the jury twice to scold the prosecution for crossing constitutional barriers and limits regarding Kyle rittenhouse's waving of his Fifth Amendment rights and also the line of questioning and not submitting basically the topics or the subjects that he was going to cross examine Kyle rittenhouse with. So let's play some of Kyle rittenhouse's testimony. So Kyle rittenhouse took the stand that is a huge risk. Now the only I could see positive wrinkle. I think Kyle's doing fine. He's a young guy, okay? He's a young man, and that is a tough situation. He's no. He knows he's on national TV being grilled by this jerk, but the only positive, remember, it doesn't matter necessarily how well you answer every question, what matters is can you win over one juror? And I think, again, I'm not saying this is wise, but I think actually I should I should think deeply about that. Because I'm constantly struggling. The defense is bet. Let me just do this. The defense's bet is that in today's America, this this decision, this case was not going to be decided on technical law. That instead, they need to win over one juror that says they don't want to put the young man Kyle rittenhouse, who is largely clueless around types of ammo and places and locations in jail. I believe that was the defense's thinking. Kyle rittenhouse explains cut 70 he breaks down when he is recounting how he got quartered by three men while trying to flee the conflict. I think that him crying is going to help him. I think the jury is going to see that. They saw that they say, this is not a murderer. This is a kid who defended himself. Play cut 70..

An express is literally moving into the universe and creating the path before you thought is like a ripple when you draw a pebble into the water it moves away from your creating movements and changes in the field surrounding year. Your thoughts are creating waves in your life just as a ripple moves on the tight and comes back in a wave so your thoughts come back to you for that reason. He wants to just thoughts. That are working for you. Not against her. We know that our thoughts thought expressions over feelings and we know that when we think about something we love. We feel good on the insight. We also know what it's like to be plagued by something in our past. If we continue to think about it we can be led into a state of deep despair. Raising your vibes includes replacing the old thoughts you have about yourself and your life with better ones. I'm doing you change your thoughts. You change your world. He talked about how you know he was basically gonna make a new covenant and so certainly he sees me certainly. He can change the raw if he wants to well. That doesn't make it perfect though. So if kyle makes a rule that is like oh man that's the most perfect rule ever. Wow with follow that and then all of a sudden one day somebody goes. Let's change that rule. Well it's not perfect at that point. It's different so regardless our these rules going to be in heaven because these are perfect. Y'all way rules. These are what he thinks is awesome. These are what he thinks is necessary for humans to follow the same. Thing's going apply in heaven. Why i think if we're talking about the future. I would think that we're going to be different than i think we're going to be a senlis are nature's gonna be different now. I believe weren't a process of people not different people but there are nature will be different And so therefore. So originally traditionally I started my career as a registered dietician nutritionist and I always laugh now because all of my schooling I went ahead and had a master's degree for the whole time. I hid the fact that I was a cannabis user. I was mortified if anyone would ever have found out because I was a professional and then a little bit into my career. I kind of you know, really aligned more with like holistic nutrition and more of holistic philosophies and being a cannabis user. So we'll do it three that they will do that monthly special three times a month, and we'll do the weekly special. was there three weeks debt three times a month, and then we'll do when it starts getting slow. We ended up doing fresh catch Fridays, which is another special, but it's just it's just fish. So any fresh hedge. So we ended up getting from Benny Keith provider that we get all our foods from. That's another thing with cooking is like it's not just cooking. You're. You're buying shit. You're networking with people to learn new recipes man there's there's a lot of cooking contests There's actually a a sous chef certification tests that you can take without going to culinary school. There's just a test that you can take and it's basically like you're just starting. At a at a job in let me go back to what's dodging is dodging is basically you You hit up a kitchen and you're like, Hey, can I worked there for free for four or five hours whatever I can help out with prep-work just so you can see how at work You know that's what's dodging is is like you're showing them how you work in the kitchen. That's all that is you've had a lot of rich experiences and you're still relatively young. So. Just imagine just imagine how many more crazy experiences. Just through will yet just through cooking that you will. You'll have. So that's. PRETTY EXCITING TO THINK ABOUT Actually another big thing that I was hoping to get into eventually if it does if marijuana ends up being legalized and I feel like it be a big honestly would probably be. Really huge for the for the restaurant industry is infused foods honestly oils you can do salad dressings, oil anything with oil in it are fat you can infuse It's truly an amazing time right now to be able to like I said what gastronomy cooking the these people are making like. "Kyle drew meat eating tofu heading nutritionist glad you're joining us every single week listen you do know that things will will keep going on you do know that like it or not summer is upon us it's it's coming I know today might not be the day to be reminded of summer and I know that this week it's supposed to be kind of cold and drop down below freezing in the mornings but listen and our summers common and are you going to be ready for it in a lot of different ways we want to keep the immune system upright we need to do that but how about to or metabolic health how about our weight you know all of these things going on in our country and our world right now one of the things that they consistently say is keeping your weight at a positive a really solid level it just seems to be one of the risk factors when were overweight dealing with metabolic syndrome everything else so why don't we talk with Dr Brian Frank about all of these things Dr Brian Frankie is a medical doctor he's up in Edmond at regenesis self joins us every week during the first segment Dr Frank how do you do sure we're all on the server I'm happy to hear that everybody wants to hear super hit so let's talk about this but you know there's a lot of things to talk about this is something that that every year around this time we like to talk about this year's kind of unique but yet the issues are exactly the same that is you know we're entering into the summer months we want to make sure that the immune system is up to eat you know cold and flu season we obviously think about that some people forget about that during the summer months nobody's going to forget about it this year and keep in the metabolism where it needs to be hormones and everything else what what are your thoughts as we start to enter into this period well you know this is a good time trial to sort of take your overall assessment and and and it's a good time for a reset for many people in that research can be that a lot of people have come out of the winter months and of people last four last year the holidays and whatnot and they may have put on some extra weight they they may have just come to the point now where they you know obviously we're all thinking about our help a little bit differently than we did a few months ago so we need the right okay where's my immune system what can I do to to reasonably protect me and my family whether it's for influenza a little bit or whatever and and so you know maintaining or getting back to an ideal body weight is an important part of that because metabolic ties in with our our wealthy unity and so forth and so so at this time sometimes we need to say okay let's look at some testing that maybe hasn't been done before has it been done a long time and there could be some basic you know lab testing it could be looking at the hormones and adrenal click because a week we definitely are seeing a lot of stress in this time the man that always speaks to the adrenal and and so it's really a good time to assess overall help them and say how are we going to move forward in the spring and summer and enjoy those times the best I want to throw something in there you mention adrenal health because D. that is something that I I think it's becoming more understood but for a long long time anytime you talked about anything other than testosterone estrogen or progesterone the only other hormone people talked about was thyroid and I think there's been a grave under appreciation of adrenal health and when you think it renounced think stress it is it is your stress glands and I think that the stress glands are being really taxed for a lot of people right now what are the effects of chronic high stress that causes you to say well well well we got to get this under control at a hormone level and and obviously psychological spiritual everything else but what one of the things that people need to be concerned about under times of chronic stress well our those really does it it's a huge payload on our bodies and our systems to stay healthy and well and to resist diseases and to resist chronic degenerative illnesses and so in and what surprises most people in this arena is that it's it's not only the negative stresses the the you know it could be relational kitchens or it could be work related stressors could be financial stress is chronic pain you know it is a stretch of it people that don't sleep well that's a stretch but when we're looking at the adrenal it's not only the negative stressors water probably term distressed but it's also the positive stresses there actually is a word for that cold you stressed and your stress you know I will consider my patients are here in our heart I understand the difference between positive stress and negative stress but Israel plans don't understand to them stress is stress me out it's so critical that we look at you mention the hormones of the thyroid and and I remember so clearly the chairman of our fellowship and anti aging and regenerative medicine said don't even get into this area health care of medicine if you're not going to look at the hormones the adrenaline the fire board altogether because they literally are so woven together there if you don't look at them all together you're you're really missing a big part of the equation and it makes sense and that when you talk about how the adrenals don't really differentiate between good stress and harmful stress I remember when my wife and I were tested and we both ended up having a dream fatigue and our adrenal hormones were all off and it was during that time that I began to learn good stress versus bad because with the adrenals taxed as hard as they were at that time then there were implications with how we were to exercise for example exercise might be considered a good stressor under normal circumstances not so whenever you're under severe adrenal fatigue and chronic chronic distress yeah yeah that's right and actually you know when we do the testing for the adrenals a lot of conventional doctors they'll just do a blood drawn and and have you know one the you know whatever time the blood was drawn they'll have at one level but the the better way to look at the adrenal stress is to look at it in the saliva morning noon evening and night because there is there is a curve that we look at and we know what is a healthy adrenal curve look like and so we we do often see people in adrenal stress that's where you're above the curve and then as you mentioned that you experienced some adrenal fatigue is where you're below the curve that adrenal fatigue would be what we would often terms of burning out yeah and then you know and that just means Israel has worked so hard that one or more times during the day it's it's below the graphics are during a fatigue and then some of my patients well nobody all adrenal stress are all in green fatigue and then some patients have a mixed pattern where that party the time parts of the day there and adrenal stress another private parts of the day they're helpful taken good the reason we study this and and test this is because we have specific nutrients that can address adrenal health we don't need to use pharmaceuticals we have nutrients that can help restore adrenal health but depending on whether you have that your adrenal stress your adrenal fatigue or a mixed pattern gives you know tells us which of the different nutrients we need to be looking at you listen super out that stock Brian Frank I'm Kyle drew you're right about the nutrients it's very interesting because when my wife was first diagnosed it was something where she was given a pharmaceutical and that probably lasted for her about a week before she couldn't handle it anymore and whenever you started to give her the the nutrients that would nourish and rebuild and and support the adrenals rather than hitting it with over the head with a ball peen hammer with the pharmaceutical it just was a gentle restorative felted almost immediately kind of experience real quickly stress also obviously has implications when it comes to weight loss hard to really consistently lose the weight for a lot of people under times of chronic distress and that's something that you want to address with people as well as over and above what we're going through with Covidien you're trying to maintain a proper healthy weight that seals you in shields you from some of the effects of what's circulating right now with about two minutes left just give us an overview of that well yeah we and so these tests will help anybody that that says you know I I do I need to lose thirty or forty or I need to lose sixty or eighty pounds because that definitely puts a stress on the whole system and and so the testing does help most when we're able to know what your fibroid their adrenal hormones are doing then that can be a tremendous benefit to people who say you know I've tried and tried and I just can't take it off well that may be why then beyond that we also we've got to primary programs at regenesis health one is is basically seriously looking at your friends antifungal approach yeah Kaufman yeah yeah because once we do a really good anti fungal diet regime a lot of people will lose sixty pounds a month sorts gradual it's not dramatic you know month by month but it certainly makes the progress so that in a few months you say wow I'm fifteen twenty thirty pounds down yeah and that can be a tremendous benefit plan for those that do need more help we do have our advance show me on the weight loss program using a natural hormone H. U. G. not H. yeah it's not human growth hormone but H. C. G. along with a very specific dietary program and and that program people typically lose fifteen to thirty pounds a month it does take more commitment leopard on the page part of the patient but it's an excellent program and I've had many people lose thirty or forty and and actually my my twin brother just from November to February lost a hundred pounds so this gracious oh my god they call me to get real well I I know when and I think a lot of people have never been more committed than they are right now let me give folks your phone number so they.
