"He doesn't do it very often. So that's kind of what it's been, but yeah, they're obviously they're moving forward defensively. They're going to be a headache for a lot of teams down the stretch here. And they're two in one. Good for them. Yeah. I think he sort of and this is what I had worried about initially. I do think that Justin Fields is growing as a passer, but he's had to not do that. He's had to do the opposite of that a lot of times. To where I don't know what comes. I don't know what you get on the back end of year three, right? And maybe there's a lot of that's just the independent work that you're doing. That can help negate some of the fact that you have to get out of the pocket really quickly sometimes, but who knows? But some neat little play calls there, I thought they were some of the end around stuff I thought was pretty cool. And yeah, good for them. I mean, they're winning, they're winning the games that I feel like, you know, the forty-niners game was, was your neutral field like slop world game. So you kind of throw that one out and you consider them like, okay, this is, they won a game that they were sort of even with their opponent in terms of not greatness. Falcons Seahawks. So I don't want to get carried away, but I did pronounce the falcons as the worst 7 win team NFL history last year. They were completely unwatchable. I'm coming around a little bit. Yeah, baby. I know you're really into what they were doing week one. I'm really into what they were doing for the first 15 minutes of week one. Okay, okay. Yeah, I'm not, I'm not on the bandwagon. I'm not gonna say they're wonderful or really good to watch, but you know, they go out to Seattle, Seahawks not very good, but still you gotta go from Atlanta Seattle. That's a long trip. Yeah, they've manufactured touches for Kyle Pitts a couple times today, and yeah, they got a little bit of juice in that pass Russian. There might be something here. They got their first one of the year. And I will point out, I reference it often because it is my Bible, the luck adjusted point differential, which I need a, I need to find a new acronym for it. It's LAPD right now. I need to make it like kings barrier or something like that. Just to point out some of the absurdity here, but very small sample size, obviously through two weeks, I just expect to see the falcons at the bottom of this thing, but they've been so bad in the red zone.

"Thank you for reminding me. There you go. Poop fact I got two games. I have bears Texans in Chicago. Two. Two teams that I think we thought would be in the worst record conversation. There will be. And then it might be a little more frisky than that. Right? Yeah. With frisky. No, I'm with you. I like the Texans. I don't know if they can play all four quarters. But I want to defend Justin Fields, much like Kirk herb street, doesn't really, but whatever, whatever's done. But he's just not, he's not, he's not a pro passer. I don't know he had a completions today. He had 7. I know it was in The Rain last week, but he's got to get those up. That's got to be 18 or 19. In one game, not two combined. Yeah, I'd want to be more critical, but other than Mooney, I couldn't really name any of the receivers on the bears. That's a problem. I didn't really understand who he was supposed to be throwing to. They felt like they found their groove a little bit with the run game in the second half and that the packers have a good defense. They have a saint Brown. I think if anyone has the same crowd, they're in good shape. I like the under whatever it is in this game. Pick a team, put it with the under teased that team and you're good. I don't mind that. I have bears by two and a half. Oh, you steal that one too. I had two. All right, so you're a crush. It's three. Full three. Last one, Seahawks falcons. It's in Seattle. And I don't think the worst record bet is up, but I think it'll go up after the two Monday games. I think the Seahawks are the worst thing in the league. Really? So you think about week one. Well, think about what happened week one. I don't think they had more than like three first downs in the second half. They didn't move the ball at all. Broncos kept moving the ball down and they kept either fumbling on the one yard line or shooting themselves in the foot, whatever. And the Seahawks could not have been lucky to win that. The game today, they got 7 points off. I think a block punt. Their offense didn't do anything in that game. Their offense, they can't do anything. They can't run the ball they can't move the ball. And I think it doesn't make it. I think it was like 24 for 30, Gino Smith. I don't know. It's all like, it was all like checked down harmless stuff. The falcons, you know, I think they lose pits year and the way they rallied without Kyle Pitts, who was supposed to, oh no, he's on the team. Sorry. Yeah. No, I was joking that Kyle Pitts, who oh, I got you. He's been out there. He's two catches for 15 yards every day. Yeah, it's only on every one of my teams. He's the decoy Kyle Pitts. This is new nickname. Kyle the decoy pits. Keep them out there. He paves the way for everybody else. But they move the ball, the falcons. I think they're both games. They've been able to four quarters, they can run the ball a little bit. Mariota is like, he's listening. How many years do they have to kick us in the balls? We lose with the falcons all the time. Well, they covered today. Because today was funny because it was 28 to three. So then they start coming back. It's like, oh, and then they blew it at the end. I didn't even realize that. Yeah, good. I have Seahawks by one and I love the falcons. I had two and a half and it's two. So I get that. You win that one, yeah. Okay, three, four, 5, 6, 7, no chance. 8 to three, 6, 8, and 11, 8. Yeah, you got it. Two more left. No, I'm gonna take out my starters. I'm not even gonna try it.

"The Mike malarkey era and what I really loved about Mike malarkey was it was all the pre snap shifting and motioning. He just wasn't doing it at full speed. But do you remember that? It was like every snap, there was like 20 seconds in the backfield where people were just moving back and forth. Like pre arranged little pieces on the board 'cause they're doing the same things that motion does now, only not at full speed, which was the obvious connection. But I think what that's done is it's allowed him to kind of do some chess piece thinking there. And there was some really cool things that they did with Kyle Pitts in terms of protections. That I had never seen before. So kudos to art Smith on that. I think that was a neat thing. So that's the good thing. The bad thing is that if you can't handle four questions, postgame, after week one, we're going to have a big problem here because that's going to be a long season. Your number one offensive player is now a 32 year old Cordero Patterson. You know, we're going to have, we're going to have some rough spots this year. It's I can't tell if it's less work to do that 'cause it's shtick, right? I mean, he's not really that upset with the questions he's being asked. Is it easier for him to sort of feign anger and frustration and walk off after four questions than actually field an entire session's worth of fairly mundane questions that every coach in the league deals with. But we were talking about this a little bit before the show. He got really upset earlier in the week. I guess technically last week at this point. He was getting some questions about Desmond Ritter and how many snaps will he get in practice and he got really frustrated and it's just like, this is the team that almost traded for deshaun Watson.

"'cause boy, I wanna write about poop on the Internet even more than I already do. Can it be a Richard meal watch, by the way? Do you know what I'm talking about? No. Do you know, well, this is like, all right, I'm gonna try to time my segue here to less than 30 seconds. Odell Beckham kept wearing a reshard meal watch during practice. Do you remember this right when he got to the browns? Oh, vaguely. And Richard meal watches are cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. That was at minimum a $100,000 watch. And so I watched a lot of YouTube videos about Richard meal watches, read a lot about Richard meal watches, and I'm just saying it's really interesting. I don't know if I would spend a $100,000 on it, even if I had a $100,000 to spend on it, but okay. That's an expensive watch. All right, all right. A lot of Formula One guys like Richard meal. So, moving on from watches and poop. I think the deal with this team is they are, they are really bad. The thing that kind of shocks me and we didn't want to deep dive the offensive line too much and we are going to perhaps talk about another team that did not address their offensive lines efficiently. But the falcons have tried to build this offensive line and it's just bad. I didn't even know if the individual parked or that bad. They just didn't play well last year. I wonder if maybe the second year in the system, you get a little bit of a bump here, and then you can get something of a run game going behind Cordero Patterson, of course, and then, I don't know, maybe they over achieve a little bit. You can't really project anyone in this league to be like a two or three win team because there's just not that much separation and you're a couple of bounces away from being a 5 or 6 win team, but man, it is really difficult to find reason for optimism outside of we have Kyle Pitts and we have AG Terrell and eventually we're going to have better players around them. Yeah, the falcons were the poster child kind of for you and I did that story in October of last year. Basically about how every team is running this version of the same offense and the offensive line coach is a really important, but there's only like 7 of them that know how to do it. And so Atlanta was one of those teams that had to just find a guy and kind of work on it backwards, right? And sort of do things in a different way. So we'll see what happens there, right? I think this was always going to take a little bit longer. And some of the pieces were a little disjointed. I think we all knew that Chris lindstrom would be great in this kind of in this kind of an offense. Jake Matthews, to me, when he was drafted in 2014, I liked him a lot more than other people did during, you know, I think he had a really bad PFF season, but I thought he actually played pretty well. That first year, but he's a different kind of tackle.

"Entire cast of the show voted and I put them 32 when you put them 31. I guess so thank you. So you had it's so funny. I didn't look at the bottom of this list before we started and I was just 99.9% sure. It was another team. And I was like, how could it not be? But it is, it's atleta. And your hatred of Atlanta is so pronounced. Not only the football team, but off air, the city. I mean, you just said, no, I'm just kidding. I actually like Atlanta. No, your hatred of the football team is so pronounced I believe in our last podcast with the great Charles McDonald. You called the falcons. The worst 7 win team in modern football history. Yes. That is absolutely what they were a year ago. They were unwatchable. And look, we don't need to rehash the discussion with Charles, but the wild thing about this team is you have Kyle Pitts and HRL who are, I wanna say age 21 and age 23, respectively, and realistically could be the best players at their positions tight end borderline premium position, cornerback, certainly a premium position. And yet, there is just nothing happened. There's some like, uh, yeah, Gritty, Jarrett. I'm integrated Jerry. He's had a fine career, but, you know, you want Grady Jarrett to be like your 8th best player. Not your third best player. I wish I could find and there was a time that I was writing something about Arthur Smith and I took like a 45 minute walk around my neighborhood because I wanted to come up with a way to describe his blandness to me. Like that would really capture it. And I couldn't do it because that's how unmoved. I am just by the prospect of Arthur Smith, the person. I mean, he did a great job in Tennessee. I'm not saying he's a bad coach or a bad play caller. I'm just saying he looks like if you forgot to name, if you did create a franchise mode in Madden and you forgot to name or dress or stylize your coach, that's just what would come out on the sidelines. It would just be like that guy, you know? Some sort of slightly photoshopped Mike McCarthy circa 2014 type of Teva deal. And they love anonymously sounding head coaches because it wasn't so long ago that Mike Smith was the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Now, there you go. Maybe that's their secret to maintaining an professional football team in Atlanta. Well, let's pose the questions here. I will ask you first, Connor, what is the deal with this team?

"It's going to depend on who's in your league, right? Everybody's different. Everyone has their different strategies. Some people absolutely love running backs. And especially if you love writing backs, how can you not love Jonathan Taylor after his first two seasons? I would be surprised even in this format. And even though it's a super flex with the quarterbacks, I don't think he makes it out around one. If he does, I could see him being like the turn pick, right? Let's say it's a 12 men league. He could be the 13th pick. I think just because of his ability, someone would take him. Before the 8th 9th QB, he's kind of the guy that doesn't, he's the one on one of the RVs for me. I know I said the McCaffrey, we were talking about peer potential for next year who it would does McCaffrey have the highest ceiling and the answer is yes, but if you're looking at next year potential and then also three years into the future, Jonathan Taylor has to be the only name that you're really looking at, unless you're a Lions fan. You might think swift can get up there, but I just don't know that he has that. Guaranteed workload, like Jonathan Taylor will. Maybe brief all. Maybe Russell, yeah. But I don't think that John from Taylor's making it out of the first either. I think that someone else, once those two top wire receivers go and Kyle Pitts probably Jefferson, chase, Kyle Pitts. I think javonte or Jonathan Taylor is the next one to go. I think you could see 8 quarterbacks. Those two wide receivers, Kyle Pitts and Jonathan Taylor be a route one. I agree. Well, I'm excited to do some mock drafts in the next coming weeks. We're kind of getting to draft season there for startup weeks. Like I said, we'll post all of these rankings again on our Twitter, which is at ultra at ultra underscore flex FFP. But we're going to wrap up this episode and we'll wrap it up with hot takes. So Ryan, what is your hot take of the week? All right guys, I mentioned this towards the beginning of the podcast. I said, I have faith in Jameis Winston this year. This year, I have faith. I'm not talking about dynasty. I'm not saying put him as a top 12 dynasty QB, but I am saying I think he will finish as a QB one. This coming season. Not VQ V one a QB one has a big difference. So I think he'll finish on the top 12. Just looking at his the last time he played a full season.

"Ability now to drop into these zone coverages. And when I watch their second level, whether it's the safety or the linebackers, they're understanding of the route combinations, that opponents like to use off of play action is really impressive because they know just like the pads do here when they run that hard play action. What are they going to do? They're going to try to cross the tight end over the middle of the field or they're going to try to threaten the cross and then run a corner or something along those lines. Maybe you'll go up to see him occasionally, but a lot of these boot action type of offenses that we see take over the league. Don't do a ton of seam stuff. It's mostly the crossing routes. The overs as Belichick talks about. And the Patriots linebackers and safeties, they are, they know a 100% where they're going to try to attack the coverage structure from a route concept standpoint. And they're retreating and getting into those passing lanes. So quickly because they just know, okay, here comes play action. They're going to try to run Kyle Pitts behind me. I'm going to turn around and find Kyle Pitts and now I'm going to blow up the play. And now there's no place to go with the football. So the way that they've covered play action is really unique and sort of adapting with the times as much as these linebackers and their front 7 is physical and old school in that sense. The way that they're covering play action is very much new school. And that's kind of the great meld of the two kind of styles. And it's really fascinating to me because I personally I think that a lot of people probably would agree with this. I did not think that Bentley and Hightower were going to be good enough in coverage to hold up in this kind of defense, right? I really thought teams would spread them out and be able to attack Bentley and high tower and take advantage of those matchups. And at least for now, and to this point, we've seen teams dinkin dunk a little bit, right? But the yards after a catch aren't really there for the.

"Just like start to finish, and if a week ten was really, really crazy. Number three, it's a longer one. This will be a so listen to what I'm saying. This is an intentional overreaction. It's a hypothetical, but I like that kind of stuff I like to theorize, put my tinfoil hat on, it's fun. The forty-niners I thought have proven, they did on Monday night. They proved that they can win with Jimmy G at quarterback. Like, they've done it, and they would do a Super Bowl Jimmy grapple. They've already they didn't need to prove that, but they did it again. They're like, oh yeah. Oh yeah, this team is still very, very capable even with Jimmy Garoppolo as our starting quarterback. So here's the hypothetical. What if the forty-niners had drafted Kyle Pitts or Jamar chase? Instead of a quarterback Trey Lance number three overall. I don't know that I would have done that, but it's a fun conversation. Now I don't think Joe Chase would work as well with Jimmy Garoppolo and his skill set. Jimmy G's deep ball isn't great. And Jamar chase is at his best with the chemistry he has with Joe burrow. So I don't think Jamar chase would be as good for the forty-niners. I think penne sewell is an interesting conversation. Actually, he's the left hackle for the Lions. You can always use another left hack. You're never gonna go, wait, hold on. We have too many good offensive linemen stop. No, I think I would have been interesting move. But Kyle Pitts is the one where I'm like, oh boy. That would be interesting. Imagine if Jimmy G was throwing to both Kyle Pitts and George kittle. That'd be a ton of intermediate throws. That'd be a great fit. Kyle Pitts and George kittle on the same team catching passes from Jimmy Garoppolo. That would be an interesting thing to see and kind of sounds like a maddening. That sounds kind of fun. Now I'm not saying I would do any of that stuff. Kyle Pitts Jamar chase, penne sewell. In my opinion, Jimmy Garoppolo is limited and Kyle Shanahan doesn't want a quarterback. He has to be careful with. Jimmy G is regularly injured. I think he's at his best when he throws the ball like 1920 times a game. Kyle Shanahan doesn't want a guy who's got a tiptoe around with a game plan. And it is way too early to give up on Trey Lance. It is widely known he is a project. He's the guy with a ton of potential who's going to take a lot of time to develop. We all knew that going into the year going into the draft. But I can't help but wonder what is the future for Trey Lance? Is it a the Rogers route? Aaron Rodgers sat on the bench for three years. And by the time Rodgers became the starting quarterback in Green Bay, his throwing motion was totally different. And I could see a reality where Trey Lance goes, I need to tweak my throwing motion. Maybe instead of holding the ball this way, which is like pointing straight out and a lot more sidearm, where it gets batted a lot, he might make changes there. Patrick, a home set out for a year behind Alex Smith, Alex Smith was a good competent quarterback who had limitations and Kansas City.

Patriots Beat

"Is in the huddle, it's so tough to kind of know what kind of defensive person now you're going to use, because he can be a running back. He can be a slot receiver. He can be on the outside. Like if he's in there with the fallback, you know, normally running back fullback, all right, we're going to take our slot corner off the field. We're going to put an extra linebacker. They're going big. Well, now you can't necessarily do that because all right, you put the sock corner rain well now he's the running back with the full back lead blocker and you're short in the box or you take the slot corner off and now you have a slot receiver out there and the full backs will loan in the backfield and you have an extra linebacker out there who has to go out and cover Patterson in space. So that's what makes this team so hard to defend NY Patterson so valuable. And since I'm going on a tangent anyway, this is what the Patriots should have been doing with Johnny Smith this whole time. He should be the utility player. But maybe they sought this week studying the falcons and we see it coming out of the mini bi week here. Yeah. And just really quickly, Kyle Pitts, I think Belichick really put this out there. This is not Travis Kelce or Darren Waller, right? This is not a jumbo wide receiver in a tight end number. He can block, you know, he can block. Oh, Waller can block. Well, it's okay. But he can block. I'm not saying George kittle or Rob Gronkowski, but he can block. So it's called him across between Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez. Yeah, it was a lot of praise. There was a lot of praise. I don't think this is, look, the Patriots have been great in zone coverage over the last couple of weeks. That's been the basis of a lot of these game plans that they've thrown out there. I do think that there is an element that you kind of go with what works on Thursday Night Football. You don't want to reinvent the wheel. But based off the numbers based off of some of the things that I've seen on tape, when you go up against a veteran quarterback like Matt Ryan, it's a lot harder to play zone. You know, because these veterans like that was always a thing with Brady, right? You can't play zone against Brady because he's just gonna sit there and pick you apart. Ryan doesn't have the weapons necessarily, that's scare you, but I really do feel like this is a have some sort of game plan wrinkle, whether it's jams, whether it's doubles, whether it's brackets or whatever you want to do against Kyle Pitts to take him out of the game. But I don't think that you can sit back in zone coverage. Ryan's numbers in zone are very, very good. Unless you really feel like you're front, which maybe you do, but unless you really feel like your friend's gonna dominate up front and just be in Ryan's lap all day long. It's a tough game to just sit back and cover to or cover three because Ryan's gonna know how to beat that. Yeah, yeah. But it's tricky because they've been their best in zone and this is where, you know, being are you a true game plan team?.

"Tons of throws to Kyle Pitts. He had a huge game pits did. So we'll see. This jets defense doesn't scare me outside of Franklin Myers a whole lot, but it's a sound scheme. They know what they're doing defensively in terms of what their assignments are or now into week 6 of the season. So maybe the Jets have a better feel for what they're going to do out there. They did a pretty good job. The first time around against the Patriots, what do you feel about this tight end duo? Because I've talked about this a little bit this week. I think it's really important to talk about how Johnny Smith currently is being used in this patriots offense because to me, out of all the things wrong with the Patriots offense in the past and all these types of things that we've talked about with play calling and McDaniels and fork down decisions. One of the more head scratching things is the lack of Johnny smith's involvement in the passing game. This season so far, Johnny Smith has only run a pass route on 38% of the Patriots passing place. So essentially he is a glorified blocking tight end right now for New England. And that's not what they paid him $13 million in $30 million guaranteed to be. They thought this guy was going to come in and make plays in the passing game. Yeah, I mean, you know, to go to the extreme comparison, it's not quite this. They basically turned him into Dwayne out. Yeah, he's a better way now. I actually ran Allen right now. And I thought Dwayne Allen played an important role for this team. He was an excellent run blocker. He was a key part of that that run in 2018. He certainly was. But that's not what John Smith should be. Now, you can look at this in two ways. Is that just how they're going to use it? Remember, we talked about this when we signed him. And it's something I talk about all the time. It's one of my core beliefs in evaluating football, talent can only go so far, usage is a big part of it. If you ask a guy to do things he can't do or you don't have a player play to his strengths, he's not going to look his talents as he ultimately it is not going to look as talented as he ultimately as I call it, didn't kill Harry paradox. So is this their plan for John Smith? We've seen the misused players before. I don't think so. That would be such a monumental miss. I mean, it would be a miss on a like exponential level compared to what they've done. The other way I look at it is, will the offensive line sucked? The offensive line is sucked in I would agree with this one of the most I would agree with what you're about to say. If they were using Johnny Smith to block and passing situations more than they are. Last week against Dallas, Johnny Smith only had one rep as a pass blocker. So if you're saying, okay, they're just leaving him in their blocking with 6 instead of 5 guys, then I would understand where you're going with that, but they're not doing that. That frequently. Well, I think it applies to both, right? It's not like the offensive line has been great to see against the run either, especially the tackles. Sure. So it may be that, you know, they feel like they need to compensate for poor tackle play. And this is just the best way they can do it. Now, they kept the uncle Johnson on the roster. Nothing against Jakob Johnson..

"3rd place game, don't have anybody play, meaningless football games because if you're not playing for a title college football or NFL, why are you playing? It's in high school makes sense because you're not guaranteed any more games and you just play For the Love of the Game. But In professional football, which college football basically is professional football. Frank like it should make money. You shouldn't put your body on the line for a game that doesn't matter unless you're especially if going to be an NFL player like when Kyle Pitts opted out of the bowl game. I respect that and guys who don't play in the Pro Bowl I go. Yeah. And and you ever watch the Pro Bowl. It's terrible guys. Don't try, it's not, it's not good football. So there's a reason why my answer Ali's probably I would imagine there's a reason why they canceled it. After nineteen sixty, nine months. And I they probably did have a reason and they probably should leave it dead. But I like the thought. Thank you for writing it. The hand, man, writes any said hey Zach, I'm pretty sure your. I remember you saying something about this in the past video but one that tasted music I love sappy from like acoustic music. Honestly, like any Song acoustic, I like instantly. I just think that, like, who's that? Olivia, Rodrigo driver's license. Coustic the acoustic version is better. I like Calum Scott biblical, I really like slow, piano guitar, acoustic music, Alec Benjamin is awesome but my favorite artist of all time and it's not even close as Jon Bellion. I was at I was going out for fiance and I were getting donuts yesterday. My family cuz you want donuts and go to a place called Pip's, original doughnuts in Portland and off. They the donuts, they're like tiny little pastries but they're not Donuts. When I say Donuts. I want Krispy Kreme because I'm I my life is very chaotic as a kid and so they need therepy teaching you this. Go to therapy. Learn who you are, you learn about yourself. So I eat a person who I really like predictability and I really like structure. And I really like, right? I know I like to know what to expect. So when I expect a donut, I'm expecting Krispy Kreme donuts and Krispy Kreme is my favorite donut place and I want. If I'm getting donuts, I'm going cuz I want Krispy Kreme not cuz I want to try some random miscellaneous pastry. Same reason, we need to get Thai food. I ordered chicken yellow curry because I don't go to Thai food to try something new. I go to Thai food cuz I want to get chicken. Yellow curry. I'm,.

"Seven games for the Bills last season and plans to play into the competition for the bill. Starting office of Guard spot opposite of John Feliciano. We're two days away from the first round of the NFL draft Bunch of rumors today. Florida Tight and Kyle Pitts, who many of mock to the Atlanta Falcons with the fourth overall pick, said today that he thinks the first four picks of the NFL draft will all be quarterbacks. Also odyssey NFL insider, Jason Lakhan, Forrest says there's a strong expectation the 40 Niners will try to trade quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo before or during the NFL draft. Hockey. The sabers are at the New York Rangers tonight. Will Borgen reenters the line up on the blue line in place of Colin Miller, who could pack a Lucan and gets the start in net puck drop for savers. If they pick Mick Jones and three and it seems like it's becoming a stronger likelihood as we're getting very close to the draft. There's a good chance that Matt Jones will be a serviceable to a good quarterback with the 40 Niners. We've seen Kyle Shanahan elevate quarterbacks just like Mack Jones in the past. But even if Mick Jones ultimately becomes a top 15 quarterback, that doesn't mean that Justin Fields of trade lands couldn't have been better. I think that we're the argument and for me that it's.

"That was a great athlete that really never panned out? I believe they took him in the top 10 long ago. That is Aaron. Maybe it's a horror story. I mean, that would be my major constructs My major concern about Jason away, understand why he came out, I think Was a mistake. Carlos bashing to me is one of the most underrated players in this year's draft. How do you enter the 2020 draft? He made me see the second round grade from scouts. He's a guy who's big. He's explosive. He's tough, any smart, you'll watch, bash him on film. He doesn't just pin his ears back and rush up the field. He plays assignment football, and he's been a very good pass rusher. They didn't. They didn't send him up the build all that much this year. Wait for us. But when he was at the Senior bowl, and he was in those one on one drills, he was devastating opponent. In my opinion, he's worth a late first round choice. Don't know if he goes there. Possibly. I don't know about the bills. Maybe the Ravens, but he's definitely worthy. There's much more risk with away them bash him, and I think in this year's draft more than any other draft in the past, you're what you're gonna want to go with a known commodity and that's absolutely natural. We've heard that it's a pretty deep draft on the offensive line side of things. Some of these like we mentioned tight ends. There's none of them in here then. But offensive line seems to be a pretty fairly deep group. Talk about the interior offensive lineman. Certainly the tackles are always the guys that people prize, but are there quality interior guys? Certainly those guys will kind of hang around until the late part of the first round, at least. Yet terrific offensive tackle classes really through three rounds. But if you're looking for an interior guy day to maybe Trey Smith out of Tennessee terrific player does have some medical issues in the past. Queen miners. The Senior Bowl hero from Wisconsin Whitewater small school guy didn't play football in 2020 because his program canceled the entire season but just went and dominated three days of practice at the senior ball. Aaron. Thanks the big mauling of offensive guard from Notre Dame. These guys they're all second date picks Kendra Green of Illinois who can play center or guard. Even Dante Smith of East Carolina left tackle for East Carolina past three years. Very good at left tackle is gonna push him to guard the next level, so you will be able to get a good interior offensive lineman. Starting middle of day to really through the end of round three where the value is not is that defensive tackle as you Well know, Tony, So I know you kind of said the pills could be targeting a defensive tackle in the first round at some point, but there's really only one guy right. That's It's got a true first round grade or a chance to go in the first round it it's bar more, isn't it is there are mean on on Zuri Kay, if I'm saying that, right on was a Rica is another guy, but he seems to be under sized at £289. He is, but he's strong and he's an explosive guy, A three technique guy who you could actually lined up. I believe in a free man front at defensive end, But you're right. I mean, I said that the I know that the bills are looking at direction if they can't get a top pass rusher or top quarterback You still get some passionate? Won't those guys a good pass? Rush is on the inside bar More and woozy Levi from Washington. Okay, Both those guys were explosive. One more has got much more outside the bar. Mars kind of hit or miss. You want formal on film oftentimes is controlled at the point by single blocker. There are some concerns about that doesn't always play up the expectations, but he's got a high upside. In the in the wildest aspirations of this entire draft class. And you spend it is positively as you can. For the guys who have this possibility. Which of this group that is gonna be drafted? How many Hall of famers could we see in this? There you go. If I get this, right, so I went in award. Yes, you do. Yes, you do. Yes, you do. How Steve really hitting you with only like 15 years down. It'll be like 20 years from now we'll check in with you, then. There you go. Uh, you know, I'm going to say zero. Uh, but if I if I had if I had to make a choice, I'm going to say maybe Trevor large. There were no there's no such thing as a can't miss prospect. There's no such thing as the perfect prospect, but he's awfully close. So if there was one guy like the Peyton Manning's ex cetera, I'll have this go with leave with trouble Lords, which wasn't very difficult we've got. We've had this conversation. You said Kyle Pitts is this revolutionary tight end prospect and I've told Brownie like, Go back a few years. And everybody was talking the same way a little bit the same way about O. J. Howard, these physical brute specimen. Howard's a little bit of a different player than Pitts is, but we see tight end prospects come out fairly regularly that seem physically better than everybody else. But we don't see tight ends that are great. Come out of the same rate. These guys don't seem to pan out. Why is Kyle pit's gonna be different? Because he did it on every down basis of Florida. You talked about O. J. Howard hold O. J. Howard was great that you're at the Senior Bowl and he dominated Senior bowl practice. But when you went back and watched this film You could see points in time where he looked very disinterested and wasn't really worried about getting involved in the action if he wasn't involved in the play. That's not Kyle pits compasses, a £245 receiver that plays the tight end position. As I've said, time and time again. Let's forget about what call pitches done. Watch the film and see who he's done it against. SEC title game Alabama matched up Patrick's retained the top cornerback in this year's draft against pits pits beat him South Carolina game. South Carolina Gamecocks matched up Jason Horn against carpets had speed him began that used to be known as the world's largest outdoor cocktail party. Florida Georgia. Georgia's got three defensive backs, It'll be top 100 picks. Rug tended against the top 100 picks. They rotated against pits. They couldn't stop him. You look at what happened when what I would've just voluntarily sat pits down against Ellis..

"All right. Let's have fun here with. Kyle pits blank will select kyle pits right. I think it's the falcons. I mean friscos. Been talking about this for some time. He doesn't think that the falcons are gonna take a quarterback he thinks arthur blank is all in on on matt ryan for another year to have a new coach and the new general manager. And here's the thing like if you trade down four. And i suspect it'll be teams interested in trading up to four to get whether it's trae lance macaroni justin fields. If you're the falcons if you move down if you move down you're not getting cockpits. That's just the end the conversation because either the bengals. The dolphins entertainment five or six and presumably. You're not trading with those teams already have quarterbacks. So that's the math you're doing and if you're not getting likely to march as we saw a report on monday for peter king that maybe julio jones could be moved with which seems crazy what they need a cap space Could you turn down for. Cornerback if the falcons you could but again what gives you more value in terms of making that football team better. I think it's how pet. So if i'm the falcons and i'm not taking justin feels matteo's trae lands i'm sampling. Taking cup pits. Janssen the blank blank. We'll take pets. I think it's it's atlanta. But i also be surprised if the team traded up with the falcons maybe even take pits like ryan saying you know the train up to the quarterback but you know teams fall in love your dallas. You know thousand the four but you know if a team really loves him that much and it's hard not to love that much than you could see. Maybe a team being overly aggressive. I think it was on On the nfl network this morning on good morning football there was a segment that they do with the giants traded up. You know. I don't know who is doing the job. Esau just a screen grab of it on twitter but the giants gave their first or second ebony ingram and something else to move up to four to get pits and it was you know something that on paper make some sense but you know. Obviously something is not likely to happen but still i would say it's four is where he goes. But the falcons do make some sense especially they decided we want from me jonesing. Another playmaker
