"Because it's starting it's already starting right now about about women's the women's that's right coming back to that. Yeah leo's women's basketball and then we'll get into baseball so the women's is far more interesting. I feel like you can totally skated by on the weirdest end of a game. Ever as you saw that play where you're like a she was fouled on that last play by not one but two people and it was a no call. That was shameful. No like that's where you should be able to look at it at the at the scores desk and be like you know what that was actually a foul. There's contact we need to take our time here and see if there was actually kinda like that. I don't mind a replay because i'm michigan. Almost beat baylor. Michigan took baylor to overtime so like michigan. The michigan the surprises for me. Were the how much. I love the michigan women's team. They were so fun to watch. And i found myself because i was like well. I'll go into rooting for baylor. Even though i cannot stand mochi on the record for the last ten years. Yeah she's a really good xs and os a basketball coach. She's she's top tier basketball coach but as a human being she. She is negative one million. Anyway don't get me started on. How bad mulkey is. She's a giant homophobic anyway and basically told brittney griner to be in the closet. The entire time i mean. She's she's notoriously terrible but michigan women. Bright future love them. Maryland broke my heart. I was so bummed that they didn't get past texas and grade squad and then they've got grace lit up. Yeah and then texas. Of course just you know. I mean i just wanted that maryland stanford game so bad but the call we talk about this for an hour. So we'll keep a tour but the call of course. Yes terrible blatant foul hated to see the game and like this. I have to say though you could say about any game. We've seen terrible falls at the end of the game. You have sixteen seconds and you dance around outside of the three point line for fifteen. You deserve to lose. You cannot and also. I thought you yukon without a doubt. Listen foul terrible. They defended really well on the perimeter. They defended really well kept carrington. I think i think it was carrington. Did you love her she. I'm obsessed with her so they kept her out of the going into the paint they kept. You're far enough away. It would have been a tough shot anyway. You know but again. You hate to see that. But i do hate. And that's what michigan men like. You see this every single game like you're down by one or two and they throw these half court shots up. It's like put your head down and run right to the rim contact. Put it start your set at nine seconds jar contact. Try to get the rebound. If anything happens and you miss it they get the rebound you follow them and then you have six seconds to work. Just we say this every single every single game we see this. So the so the baylor. Obviously that was that was a heartbreaker but stanford yukon is my dream. But also i love south carolina. I'm obsessed on his. The south carolina stanford is going to be the game to watch. I think it's going to be better than you. Zona for totally. But the south carolina uconn rivalry that kind of flared up from that when that woman hit that shot. I wanna say two or three years ago. That last second shot south carolina to end yukon and in the semifinals and that's when that was mississippi state or mississippi state mississippi and then vic schaefer the coach of mississippi state now goes to texas to rebuild that program any already has them like literally in the in the final eight. That's the dude from mississippi state now go. Carolina beat mississippi state at some point. Maybe we asked the asia wilson year. But yeah it's going to. It's going to be so fun. I think stanford stanford should win at all they are. They have been the best team in my opinion the whole year. To black coaches awesome. You're gonna have a black coach in the nc double a. finals for women. You could've add one. John could stuck it out there on our at like you know what don staley was saying was a dis need to see this. They need to see that. Like black coaches can do their thing and rise to the top and bring it up again. You're seeing a stanford team that we haven't released is the first final force at stanford team has ever made so they're making progress with teams. That will not stand for. That's that's tara. Vandermeer she but but but the arizona. Yeah she's only coach like three years and she was played in the wnba like to see any female. A coach is amazing. Black women coach. I mean it's it's so feel good. It's so awesome. And that's what should happen. I mean district just fierce female basketball players another coaching. And it's awesome so who wins is a yukon or do you think i think stanford's just has to too many weapons i think when they're on their unstoppable so i'm picking picking stanford but you know it's hard to. It's hard to rule out the gino magic. He just somehow elevates all those players. But i'm picking sanford picking stanford at gonzaga's you heard it. You heard it all right. Let's talk real quickly about baseball. I do we ever talk about. Are you mets fan or now what are you. I'm a a yankees fan. Two though always surprises me to lindores signing was awesome. I mean signing was three hundred and forty one million. Is that what it was. Whatever it was insane day one a fantasy. I have my fantasy team s over us an extra innings today. All right fine is it dodgers. Are we going to see in the in the national league dodgers but dodgers padres for. I think the padres. I mean snell and darvish i and that lineup. I think that tips. I think it's it's tips for the padres. I think it tips it for the padres. I think i mean you know who the hell knows. It's the longest season. Honor barring injury though i think if the padres to me is like an all star squad right now i mean. They're fun and they're young and they even machado's trying wait. Did you run that out. That's fantastic guy. Even you're not deplorable thing. I could say about him. No but tat like i might tip teases even making you actually likable in some way shape or form you know i like. I like them a lot and so you know i mean. Look the carl's got aeronautic. Oh that's a great move for them. It looks like the hopefully probably win the central though you never know the braves will be good again braves. I feel that's in. The mets will be good The cardinals i've got a dylan. Carlson was my rookie keeper. And then i picked up o.'neil in a late round. I always have cards. Always have some cards molina. Still gonna probably be. He's probably one of my favorite players of all time. Oh yeah he's like a nine you know in just still killing it his to change shape. He's so like a medical next greg musical note and it's gone down to octaves. That's much how old do you think about all those pictures. That came to saint louis and were good on saint louis now not good elsewhere. It's like when kyle loesch goes like fifteen in like four you're like and then he goes to another team like tannin fourteen in your life. Why was he fifteen cuts gain. Yada yada here. Molina knows what peter pinch hitters can hit. Is he first ballot hall of famer. Because we have this you think tank so i think obvious to me but there are a lot of people were like. No no doesn't.

six seconds John nine seconds saint louis kyle loesch Carlson fifteen sixteen seconds three years two o.'neil today one million one Molina vic schaefer two people gonzaga Two three hundred and

"I going to stay healthy in how i'm going to be the best i can be and i've learned how to manage it. Learn how to make the body moved away at once you even though it might look big and out of shape but i'm just as flexible on just athletic as the rest of them. I just might look at so. I enjoy that too. Kind of sneaks. Up won't people. How cool is it to go from free agency where it's like you might be fielding. Some one year offers to then be sought after as a trade piece where it's like. Hey we're going for it this year and we want lance lynn to be a part of that just shows you that you know what you do on the field and you try to go out there and help. Your team won everyday. Pays off You know sometimes this game will humble you real quick and it has over my career but i try to go out and do everything. I can't team won that day. Then on pitching four and it's working out and that's younger to be. And that's what i've always been and had that opportunity to go to a team that won sewing and wants to go for. It is exciting. Because that's why play the game. So jared makes a great point about sort of how things have come full circle because you're now the commodity the sought after the hired gun like this dude right here. This is a needle mover. Not only for the fans at home who've got their needle moving because you're now joining the club but everybody thinks their chances are a hell of a lot better. You were a part of some ridiculous rotations. Salty vets included very early on in your career guys like carpenter guys like way no Shit who wants Westbrook jake was in their own kyle loesch edwin jackson. I had i had some of the some of the old boys right. that's absolute. Oh jeez so. What has what has been something that they have left you with that you have taken through the rest of your career that has found you at this point where you're sort of like those guys the hired guns the the needle movers. I think overtime that you're with each of them. In each of them.

"I am of the ringer joined by ESPN's similar Hello Sam. Hey Ben. So you know a few months ago when people were talking about whether sports could come back should come back, etc. One of the things people some people would say is, Oh, it would be such a welcome distraction from all the sort of sadness going on, and then there was the was that discussion of whether whether there should a distraction or whether it was actually. It it's actually like something that we should be in national. Mourning and paying a great deal of attention to and and I saw both both sides of of that being debated in public and I think that what we can say a few weeks into the season is that there has been nothing remotely distracting about the season from covid like you watch the games and you just like the whole thing is just as giant flashing reminder. So like gardening for instance could be a distraction from from covid because you're just out gardening. But when you turn on the baseball game, it's just like screaming you know everything's destroyed and I think that the peak of that for me so far was a couple of days ago when the mets broadcasters in the middle of. Of. A typically creepy eerie game were discussing whether there would ever be handshakes again in the World Anti Keith Hernandez came down there will never be another handshake like we're like as as a as a species we have moved on from handshakes there might be hugs but he wasn't willing to say but definitely the handshake era which lasted. Like like what? How many thirty, five, thousand years or something is is over don't know when the firsthand was shook. that. So that's what we're discussing during ball. Games. Just your idle banter between pitches. Yeah. I felt that way to their moments where I get engrossed in a game and I'm just thinking about that game but it wasn't as if every single waking second of my life was devoted to thinking about covert before. So I don't know if it's crowded out everything else and and it wasn't only covid that people were talking about baseball or sports. Being distraction from but yeah, that's true. I mean. You can't look at the standings and see some teams with very few games played or all the players who've opt out or on the injured west or even just pitcher's getting hurt because of the strange structure of the season or all the other ways that it's weird without being reminded of that. So I agree it's not as if we. All just bushley forgotten everything because baseball's back and now everyone's talking about bubble plan for the playoffs. Jeff Passan has reported that that's being discussed. So yet it's a constant concern of course. Yep. So I wanted to ask whether you think we've reached the point where certain teams should be acting any differently because of how they have started the season I guess the most likely candidates for that. Would beep say the rockies and the Tigers as we speak right now they have raised their playoff odds the most of any team since the start of the season, the rockies right now are more likely than not to make the playoffs and the Tigers have had a winning team to, and so that's kind of put the pressure on them to call up Casey is, for instance they seem. Like they could maybe use some help in the back of the rotation and before the season started when people were saying, oh, the tiger should go for it. They should call up manning and they should call up and they should just really give it their all because it's a short season or the orioles should call it badly richmond or or whatever I thought. Well, yeah maybe if they. Get out to upgrade start or something. I don't know that I would change the way that I was going to go into the season because it's a sixty season. But if you happen to fluke into a winning quarter of a season, let's say or who knows maybe it's not a fluke but those teams have done that at this point and there is a trade deadline coming up as. Strange as it is to think about that in just a what three weeks less than three weeks now at this point, and so if you were one of those teams that's off to a start where you can be kind of competitive and have real measurable playoff odds, would you adjust your thinking based on that? What you call up your prospect? WHO's at the alternate site to wasn't part? Of Your plans just because pay you had a few hot weeks and suddenly things are looking realistic. So before I answer that last year at the trade deadline, the reds traded for Trevor Bauer and they had now that was of course, not just for last year that was for for last year a little bit, and then for for this year a lot the giants as we remember. To make some trades but to not punt the whole season, they kept some very good players or I guess some some tradable players and decided that since they were over five hundred and they were in the wild card race, they weren't going to give up and they had six percent playoff odds last year. So the reds had five percent playoff odds at the deadline. The giants had six percent playoff odds diamondbacks similarly, they traded Zach grank, but they also added that Guy WHO's been on every team Mike leake Mike leake they added Mike leake instead what you WanNa guess who I almost said. Who Mike Lee is confused with Kyle Loesch is almost said a-. Anyway, so those teams that decided that they were kind of in it at five percent, six percent and ten percent not totally inept at kind of in it right now, the orioles are at six point, five percent play on it so that just to put that into perspective, the Orioles who started the year has basically the one team that was getting no boost from the expanded playoffs in the short season..

Crime twitter back and forth between Kyle Loesch and Trevor Bauer. I I did Michael K show yesterday and I told him that I I was embarrassed. Watching this like watching. This is beginning to feel like to second cousins at a memorial service arguing loudly in the back pews and Rindge as you hear it like every time somebody talks about money allowed in the current context. It feels totally inappropriate. And I think it's going to damage all of them. Buster you're saying these words and I am literally just stately sitting here shaking my head and I got my head in my hand cringing. Because you're absolutely right I'm GONNA come at it from a little bit. Different perspective You know I've worked in baseball in my lane a little bit of a different thing admittedly but on the business side for thirty years and I have relationships with people in the Commissioner's office would people with the PA with licenses. And I think that all of this is governed. Navigating successfully is is a product. I believe of discretion. Bite your tongue. No one to talk no when not to talk. "Year. Deal and a lot of teams will space out the payments. Say It's thirty million and it'll go six ten fourteen million by year six. Is that up at two thirty okay. Six ten fourteen million. Some look and say you know what I twenty twenty year my contracts not that big the bigger years or on the back end with all that's going on in the risk of injury and everything else and I'm not happy with the deal. I'm not coming back this year. And the third part free agents who feel they could do more harm than good to their case guys like mookie. Betts and TJ JT Muto in in Trevor Bauer who become free agents at the end of the year? Maybe look and say well wait a minute. I'm in the final year of my contract Do I come back for only half a season? Do I risk poor performance? Do I risk an injury? Do I put myself kind of behind the eight ball by not having a good year with all? That's going on right now. Maybe I just don't come back in twenty twenty and hit free agency in the off season. Three scenarios laid out by the New York Post and then there Scott Boras today the agent. We heard the back and forth yesterday. Trevor Bauer basically told him to get the hell out of their business in a tweet and yet Scott. Boras said today to his clients in a memo obtained by the Associated Press. Do not bail out the owners. All part of the backdrop. So what would you tell them? Five one three seven four nine seven thousand one eight hundred the big one pound seven hundred on. At and T. R. L. Carriers sportstalk presented by Kelsey Chevrolet seven hundred w. f. down the stretch rapidly. Moving our number one darnold period sports talk within about Delta triple a nice rally this our love the input on the topic and the opportunity on twitter. Oh remember Cayo Loesch. Carlos was a red at one point. Minnesota TWINS PHILADELPHIA phillies pitcher pitched over a decade. If I remember in the major leagues cow alosha retired in a twitter spat with trevor. Bauer was making reference to some of the stuff being said from the players side of things and trevor weighed in and said and I quote. This is Trevor Bauer to former major league. Pitcher Kyle Loesch. Kyle your time as a player has come and gone. You'RE NO LONGER. Part of the player group negotiating. Everyone appreciate your time and your service. But you don't speak on behalf of the players anymore that time has come and gone for you. You're not privy to everything that's happening. Kyle Loesch responded trevor. I'm just going to chuck this went up to immaturity while your generation. It's talking Major League baseball business while playing video games and complaining publicly how the Union is doing us out of touch. Ex players. Aren't happy standing by watching. You wreck what was built. Trevor bowers response on twitter. Okay boomer ooh Scott. Boras sent a letter to his client. Scott Boras says the most powerful agent in the game represents seventy-one players his agency this off season negotiated one point two billion with a B. One point two billion dollars in contracts this off season boroughs recommended today. His Clients Refuse Major League. Baseball's attempt to cut salaries in an email obtained by the associated. Press boroughs wrote. The player should not alter the terms of their merch. Twenty-six agreement with the owners that call for the players to reduce their salaries to a pro rated base basis based on a short a shortened season on the proposal. Eighty two games the players on March. Twenty six agreed to take what would amount to a fifty percent pay cut. They said all right. If we'RE NOT GONNA play one hundred sixty to apply and we play eighty two. You can pay half our salaries borough said today. Remember Games cannot be played without you. That's what he wrote to his clients. Players should not agree to further pay cuts to bail out the owners lead owners take some of their record revenues and profits from the past several years and pay you the pro rated salaries. You agreed to accept owners now. What player to take additional pay cuts to help them? Pay these loans. They WANNA bail out. They're not offering you a share of the stadium ballpark villages or club itself. And that's the genesis for most of the argument. That Major League Baseball last year was a record industry of ten billion dollars. In Baseball's turned a profit as a whole sixteen in the last seventeen years of the owners are asking the players to give up money during tough times. The players will say well when when you were making the profit sixteen in the last seventeen years. You didn't give us any more money outside of the agreement we'd already signed the players will say why don't you you didn't us tear up our agreement and give us more money. So why in tough times for you? Should you ask us to give you give up more money? Because of what's going on back to my original point none of this. None of this should be be played out before our very eyes and ears. We should know any of this. If I were Tony Clark the union I would say look I see one tweet. One Radio Interview One TV interview from any of you and we've got a problem. Maybe that's just me Anderson. We go next time. You're on seven. Hundred wwl W speaking here. Just make my point. I was trying to make I agree with you. One hundred percent but baseball owners in baseball players sued enact a gag rule. Okay yes and here's why forty million unemployed hundred thousand dead small businesses going out of business every day. People worried about food on their table. We all are baseball. We all love sports. But we don't want to hear your fighting in the public you're going to turn people off. Yes and make them mad. Yes Yawn belief and on my second point if I could follow up because that's such a good point because I I think most understand there are things that have to be hammered out and sides don't always agree on initial offers it's called negotiating but if that all needs to take place and we accept it does you can't play it out in front of us. We just. We don't have the stomach the time the patients or interest to put up with any of it. Do it behind you if you need a yell at each other yell at each other. Don't let us know yelling at each other right and I'll tell you this My second point is My small business is sports related. Okay and I knew when the NBA canceled their season. I paused their season. That it was over for sports. Twenty twenty okay now. They're coming back with no fans. Okay so But I knew that I knew that back in mid March. Why didn't the owners know that when they were negotiating with the players? I you know I you know he should plan for this and you you made a deal you know. Sorry you get stuck with what you negotiate. Hey Tom I enjoyed this call again sometime. Thanks thank you yeah. Let's in again. This is this is more the XS and os in the negotiations in my eyes kind of glaze over but on March twenty six. I mean I remember. Sitting here with the agreement was announced. I remember the excitement of my voice. I said well look this. The owners and players have agreed was march. Twenty six that night on sports talk and I said Wow with all. Its going on agreed. The players and owners.

Not in the lineup today. I don't know Boone's up to Arden higher manager player manager manager managing the Tigers now. So. No, no, no, no garden garden. Yes, they have Eric, Milton. Did last year too. Pay attention here. No, you guys missed what I was saying was the aero, we're selecting from Gardenhire as a player, which would in the nineties, or as a manager zone nanager. I think Mike was saying, we will sort this all out and get to this important matter. In a second donlevatar Latimer. Gary seven in war in nationals Expos history, stugatz. How many Expos are ahead of him? Oh easy. Gary Carter's, I like him Raines rock. Andre Dawson off Steve Rogers JR. Tim Wallich wall. "I don't even want to see it and I felt the same way with that play last night about Simmons in part because you just hate looking at somebody in agony. But the other thing, too, is you just heartbroken for the guy. Right. He's such a good player, and you're right BUSTER, whenever I hear, he rolled an ankle, I refuse to watch it under any circumstances because on my tiny little level. I've done that a couple of times it's pain is immeasurable. It's so bad. And if you roll it badly enough BUSTER, you're going to be out a month if it's black and blue all the way around that ankle, it's going to be a while before he's able to play. Now I hope it's not that bad for him. But he's also such a good guy BUSTER. I was at the Orioles. The other day when the angels were in and Amerson Simmons walked by a heading towards the batting cage, and I just casually said, hey, you doing. He said, good. Just trying to figure out that hitting thing again. That's. It's what he called it, it was beautiful at every hitter, the big leagues knows exactly what he's talking about even though to ninety one at the time and had done some pretty good things. He called it that hitting thing he has to go figure it out again in the cage because he lost it for a moment. That's how hard hitting is. That's how much that guy cares. And now it appears the angels going to be out without him for awhile. And that's the. Loss for them as they started to make a little move in stand. And before we go, I want to give you some advice, it probably comes too late. I don't know if you notice this or heard about this team but I'm the reigning champion of the president's race because a likeness of me wind up winning a relay in the president's race. And of course, I thought a you, and when you ran in the sausage race in Milwaukee just a, a piece of advice, if you get that offer again, let somebody else, run the race in a costume with your name on it. Tim. Yeah, I BUSTER. I'm well aware that your head won the race. Okay. And you don't have to mind me. I will never get in one of those costumes. Again, I told you the story overnight, I tried on the hot dog costume. The KAI was reading the thing told me, you know, this is built for a big people to run in these and you're not very big don't be like there was about that. So I run the worst race ever. And I don't know though this part I walked in the clubhouse after the game as Ron porter. Now. Because I covered the game Kyle Loesch announces to the entire brewers clubhouse there. He is the worst hotdog racer of all time. That's how I get announced when I walked into the club house. And then I go to the truck afterwards to, you know, to say hi to everyone after the game. And we're having a post game meal and we're having sausage from the sausage race. It was. My entire life. I hope it never happens again. Yeah. And I had the greatest night of my life because I won the president's rates Tim. That's how it goes down in the record books. Right. I won it was awesome..

"January seventh wheels will be got for national days. They got Monday. National monday. Said no one ever. Apparently, did you realize this? It's the first Monday of the year. Now that you mention it. Yes. I am aware of such thing. That's why thank think it's Monday day. I don't know why. But they market as the first Monday in the in the year. Day was created to celebrate all things that will occur on a Monday in the upcoming year such as the new job a promotion. Birthdays holidays vacations. So basically anything that can happen on any day. Yeah. I mean, I know you start the job on Monday most, but you can start a job on Wednesday. Yeah. Birthdays. I don't think those exclusively happen Mondays. Praet? They're reaching the the Monday lobbying firm for Mondays. Yeah. There's a lot of holidays that occur on Monday because of the release observe the observance. Yeah. You know, it's it's a tough sell for Monday people frigging hate Monday. Yeah. So I mean, the football games are garbage and tried to put a positive spin on their right? Give them credit. So today's also national temperature. Of your head Tempera. Maybe it wasn't. It certainly wasn't something that stuck with me for a long time. If I did try to I don't think I've ever ordered me. Neither. And finally right behind you there. It is national bobblehead day heads. We have what five of them back there. I can go get more. Yeah. So we have Fisher to bury we have corona Jon Gruden which is my favorite Jon Gruden right? Kyle Loesch which is a deep gig. Yeah. The hell. The we end up with a Kyle Loesch bobblehead in here. And then we have Rick sweet and Todd Helton from the sky SOX days. Yeah. Those are all our bobbleheads in. Yeah. I have many more in my office. You is you. I love know. There might bobbleheads. Horde them know, these aren't for poet, these are ones that I've been given to me. You want to one of myself? You want the one bobblehead of me? No. I need a reason to come in here. Right. That would be one to stay away. That's the best. I don't know. If you're gonna ask me about bobbleheads. No. Returning. Yeah. I was waiting to be set up my favorite bobblehead. And I have a lot of them is the bobble head of me that I got as a gift, of course, big fan of the office and Dwight and Angela gets Dwight shrewd a bobblehead of Dwight Trute and I received a bobble head of Ryan Kaufman. I'm wearing a Batman costume. Because of my my kids my kids love Batman. And and when we play I'm Batman, and they're, you know, Robin or Spiderman or whoever else so. The face. I don't think there's a huge resemblance. But if you like squint, and you have pink guy kind of looks like me, but it's awesome. That's my favorite bobblehead. Tim Dillard, bobbleheads a good one too. Yeah. Paul heads. You don't like bobbleheads in here will be every bobblehead. I own tomorrow. Two day creep you out. No, sir to character. Character caricaturists I like the figuring. You like the realistic? You liked the McFarland? We have one veteran back there. Right. You like those I like those because at home I have a Brennan web when he played with the Diamondbacks, and I have a rich rich goose Gossage. In his you. Call them Wasatch Watson uniform. Really? Yeah. This guy Sykes gave those out. Oh, that's that's a good one. Yeah. I think it was wasn't here for I would. I would assume if the vibes don't give away half a dozen bobbleheads this year, I'm going to riot. Okay. Because part of the spend their thing for the last few years. Right. But they should do it even more now because part of the vibes coming in is is where it's all about the experience. And part of the experience is the giveaways are the giveaways, so toasty bobblehead, toasty bobblehead, absolutely. Bobble who's the manager for? Is the manager for the Helena bird? Honestly, can we know that by now? January right. We still have time. Isla bobbleheads. I'm surprised to hear you say. No, I don't. Figurines or nothing for me. Oh, that's why the the the rich sweet. And the I think just the Rick sweet I got that one at a game. And I brought it in here because I said. This would be better served in the studio. Twenty nine nine goal. Elton one to I'm gonna say. My goal is my goal is to turn this thing into Dan Patrick's man cave in to do that we need bobbleheads. So I'm gonna go get bobbleheads any other kinds of memorabilia to no, I agree. Yeah. I agree with that. I think that vibes air force and switch backs players come on this show should give us their memorabilia, right? Nestor corridor. Yup. Field manager last year. Thirty four. I love they call field manager who's thirty four. Yeah. I'm gonna be thirty four. So I don't know if he's coming back or not. But. From bobblehead. National bobblehead day. Yup. Celebrate with some Tempera on a Monday. Yeah. There.

"Still available so is there any sense of disappointment that they didn't end up getting one of those guys or is there confidence in the starters that they have a feeling that they would have ended up making some kind of commitment that they might regretted and long run yeah i think brewer fan now seen by an awful lot of kind of middle market freeagent starting pitching contract go relatively poorly going all the way back to jeff's coupon operandi wolf kyle loesch with another one they just got off moderate the matt garza contract and so aptly talked to a lot of these guys over the course of winner i think among the fan but if there was a pretty heavy feeling of all now here we go again looking at some of these guys i at a contract that might be lifted this part of the reason the brewers couldn't spend money three years from now up a with that said i am surprised that we got all the way through early both the way through the winter could of you mentioned the free agent market is still thoroughly open we have through the winter without the speak coming a thing um and without uh scott boris working is phone magic and calling marquette an as you and finding a contract for jake arrieta out of it the way he has with some of his other clients in the past so i think you know i wouldn't rule out the possibility that it still could happen but the brewers at the very least there publicly saying this is the team we have we're not out shopping we think we're done yet trying to make big deals and at present i think he kind of have to take them at face value for that and so it would be a little bit surprising to get all the way through this winter without adding a pitcher especially given all the money they spent than the outfield uh but it looks like that's the path we're headed down one is my son statistical sacks of the advanced era i guess is baseball metrics is dead wind ryan braun brandi you did he played about twothirds of the season as a third baseman is defensive run saved kim ads negatives thirty two and his uh his use e came as a negative 29 sir ryan prime when he was rookie.
