"The bears manage this draft with excellent. The the biggest criticism against against patients always been he can dragged on day three sometime. He can draft on day two but they won. He has never really been able to truly get right. This was like we were in a parallel universe. The day one into they nailed day three and they already had a good track record on day three so this could be one of the better halls that we've ever seen the getting to draft and i'm so excited to be part of it. I love this exciting. You should have heard everyone in chicago that the talk shows were crave of the white game when they announced the fields pick it was like scoreless game like the top of the third and everyone starts cheering. Which is the way that the city is going when when the bears now have finally made a move that the fans have called for the fans are going to surround jokes and field and they're going to back him whereas with trubisky and cutler kind of like this like really odd relationship like Okay you might have gone through touchdown today. But i still remember that and don't interception through against washington we to like. I think that this is not only going to change a culture team but the culture of the fan base and the way that this team drafts way. This team developed talent and the side of the ball teams focuses on. Is there since our topic. Starting last week was draft picks. You were completely wrong about. Is there any chance. Justin fields is a bust. Well yeah i i would say. Yeah and i'm gonna say that for two reasons number one. The biggest knock against steel this year especially from what i saw because every time a house. They played their national television. So i watch every game and the one thing which feels and this is gonna hawk. Bears fan is. He is very very prone to making stupid mistake. Throw in the end zone. Or maybe keep the flame alive. Stir a little too long and throws a double coverage and it gets picked and you know i would prefer to have a quarterback that's going to make those big type type of gamble plays then have a very very conservative offense and not really take shots on the feel like well what we saw with nick. Foles and trubisky also didn't really take too many shots down the field and that's just the way the offense is laid out So i would say he's very very disaster-prone but now in today's nfl. That doesn't matter as much. Because you have disastrous guys. Like josh allen kyla berry. That was their biggest knock out of college. Now the two of the top quarterbacks in the league so i think as a fellow is gonna fit fields well but it's also a very very not not a very good not very good sign. The second thing is and i know this is more of a minor thing Some people believe that the reason why feel fell is because he told teams in his interviews. He is then. He has epilepsy apparently in the family. like he said that the past generations like family members of just kind of grown out of it which i believe in common with epilepsy But there has to be a reason why field spell that we don't know about because somebody was that type of resume and that type of talent. He was a top quarterback coming out of high school or no. He was number two behind. Trevor lawrence he was in all in all fairness was the number two at least in terms of credentials quarterback prospect of this draft There has to be a reason. Why fell and i don't know if it was the epilepsy. I don't know if it was something else with with the physical. His pro refine combine with fine There there's something that we don't know or that we know but aren't making too big of a deal of that. I think could be kinda kinda weird because there's no reason why denver shouldn't have taken justin field. Unless denver knows that they're going to be taking. Aaron rodgers gets released because the packers are not going to release him now when they only save five million dollars when they can save twenty five million dollars in june and unless that's what denver is counting on. And there's a back door deal with that. It's the only that's the only explanation for the broncos we'll see ultimately i don't i think that field is safer prospects in the draft. Especially when you look at guys like wilson and trae. let's the really emerged. This year. Land emerged last year but only played one game because of the after the pushing their football season. Spring and in comparison to the other thought to the five total quarterback. Trevor lawrence is all century type prospects. Or he's not even in this conversation. But that wilson his receivers won't of that type of space in in the nfl especially with the with the week schedule at byu played. Trae land historically at cs. Quarterbacks have not translated well to the nfl joe flacco and maybe carson wentz through the two exemptions johnson fields in a draft were. The bears needed a quarterback was the safest pack would have been the safest if they're already in the top ten and was the best guy. That could've gotten a ruben. Trevor warrants and. I think that just has to fall in the bears player development. And it'll be another story of a great guy that the bears got somebody highly touted out of college and they describe what the development so. It'll be interesting to see this. next year. And the years to follow works deals eventually becomes a starter how much emphasis placed on surrounding talent and developing him and giving him the the excuse giving him the the attention and the effort and the energy needed to develop into the franchise quarterback that if we're all being honest the bears have not had since world war two all right so we did promise that we would bring some more Answers to last week's question because we had so many great answers to you know who was the one draft pick. You were completely wrong about. Let's begin part two with a former bears player who was a fourth round draft. Pick in two thousand two. He was expected to go on day. One maybe day two but that was a year when you know there was julius peppers. Dwight free any these guys. I remember clearly what they said about him out of florida. He was the sec. Defensive player of the year florida's leader in sacks but he was considered a twitter. He worked out at linebacker. He worked out at as a defensive lineman and then the ultimate kick in the gut. His teammate florida's kicker was taken before him in the draft eight years later to division titles and in nfc conference championship and top. Five in bears franchise history with forty three and a half sacks. I would say he proved the prognosticators wrong. So as we begin to jason. Let's start with alex. Brown who many people will remember his playing days with the bears and we asked him because many people were wrong about him in the two thousand and two nfl draft who.

Trevor lawrence Aaron rodgers five million dollars last year twenty five million dollars next year last week two one game twitter trubisky chicago This year Trevor wilson fourth round june trae carson Bears

"Possibly pursuing you either are or you're not. It feels like Hey, we're talking about it. OK, well, then you're pursuing to Shawn wants him. Hey, we're not talking about it, then we're not pursuing to Shawn wants in. I'm sure there are a lot of teams today who are possibly pursuing do Shawn wants in Now here's the deal. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal. Several in NFL insiders expect the Raiders to field calls from teams enquiring about Derek Carr's availability. There's a flip side to the season car just produced. That increases demand insiders saying could create a scenario which a three team trade allows the Raiders to acquire to Shawn Watson. Now for that to happen, the Raiders would have to receive Two first round picks for car, which they would then package with their own first rounders in 21 22 to present a compelling offer of four first round picks to the Texans for Watson. Who was reportedly asked to be traded. Well, that's different than what I was told. I would if you were gonna land to Shawn Watson, that Two first rounders, and then they wanted to players who are already on your roster that they could take. Now. This is different with four first round picks for Shawn watching, but I'm looking at cars, numbers and these air respectable numbers. But it always feels like whoever Jon Gruden has is his quarterback is not good enough. There has to be somebody else who's better than him. And I think that's the case with Derek Carr. I was so proud prize that Derek Carr was going to be his quarterback. In Vegas. I truly thought That Jon Gruden was going to go after calamari. I truly thought that he was going to go. We're going to bring in somebody exciting moving into a new stadium. And we could take advantage of those wheels on the turf. And we're gonna be something explosive. You knew had a very good running back. He knew he had a very good tight end. But if I gave Jon Gruden to do over Wonder now, That doesn't mean they're getting Kyla Berry. But I I think that John was going to go after one of these younger quarterbacks, and that's a couple of years ago. So that would been Colin Murray. Yeah, Club. How come Derek cars and just going straight to Houston in this trade like staffer? I mean, is it because of his brother was so bad there that the Texas don't want their car like golf. Uh, you know, did they write? The guy wrote that they have to trade car for two first rounders that they would turn around. Houston, You get two first round picks for Derek Carr. Who I mean that that was my first thought is wow. And then you start to look at well. Okay, I got a quarterback who's under 30. What? Jalen Ramsey brought two first round picks, right? I guess he Jalen Ramsey. But if I look at the numbers, though, if you throw 27 touchdowns and nine interceptions, he throws over 4000 yards. Yeah, McLovin. I got a spot Washington football team. Okay, I'll be lower first rounders if they could take him win. Are you going to give up two first round picks? You know this Kirk cousins to the Niners? That story's not going away. It's kind of strange where I I checked with somebody yesterday and I go help me out here. 40 Niners. Everybody keeps saying the right thing about Jimmy Garoppolo. He goes, No, they they're not going to do with this. What I was told the Niners aren't going to do with the Rams did to Jared Goff. And disparage him or give you cryptic messages there. You know that the Niners I think we're there. Okay with keeping Jimmy Garoppolo. And and I'm paraphrasing what you know, my source said on this, but they're there. They kick the tires on a lot of cornerbacks here for an organization that has a younger quarterback. Under contract. They kick the tires on quarterbacks. They did it for Brady. They did it for Stafford. They're doing it for just Shawn wants in. That doesn't sound like a stable situation. It feels like Hey, if you want him quietly privately, give us an offer here because it feels like the Niners are in business for another quarterback. Whether it happens. It's hard to argue. That they've sort of been. It's one of those. Poorly kept secrets. And I and I I just feel like they're gonna move on at some point. Yeah. About time, Kirk Cousins got a chance to join a team that was built and ready to make the Super Bowl that time. Here's Here's a trivia question for you. In the last 450 days. Was one quarterback who has beaten Patrick Mahomes. Their car. I had heard about that, huh? Are you that is not a stat of the day. Uh, okay. Oh, my God. I'm gonna.

"What was able to recover a fumble gardener Menchu 31 of 49 301 yards and two touchdowns, but the Texans get their first win of the season. They beat the Jags 32 14. Alright, so muzzle Tubbs Who? Romeo Crennel, who gets the victory, the oldest coach in the NFL right now, 73 years old and the Texans winners for the first time this year one and four. Let's Goto Christian veteran Kansas City. I told you about the touchdown just moments ago. Christian. What a stunning turnaround. This has been. Very stunning. I would say that crowded Arrowhead is shocked, but there's not many in the crowded Arrowhead. But wherever the Chiefs fans are, I'm sure they are shocked 40 to 20 for the Raiders now on top by 16 With 5 26 left in this game, the Raiders have scored three straight and Josh Jake of seven yard touchdown. Put him up 30 to 24, then Daniel Carlson and 43 Yard still going, make it 33 24, Then the Chiefs trying to make something happen on 47 at their own 28 yard line. Patrick Mahomes, intercepted by strong safety Jeff Heat that was returned to the Las Vegas to and from there, Josh Jacob's two yards into the end zone to give the Raiders of 42 20. Ford lied. So 5 26 left here in this game chief with the ball right now, looking at a Second in 11 at their own 24 yard line down 16 to possession. 5 26. They do have Patrick home, so nothing is impossible or are not possible. I should say, but Not looking good. The cheese for no. The Raiders to into the Raiders looking to steal a win in Kansas City over their rival in the West 42 24 Raiders lead 504 left in this game. You know, Christian, I'm surprised they didn't go for two. Obviously, they get it Order in a 15 point game is opposed to needing two touchdowns. 2 to 2 Point conversions to tie, but If they did get it. It would have been a matter of the three possession game, which pretty much would have put it out of reach there. So, yeah. Now the Chiefs have a first down at the 44 leaves the door open five minutes ago. They're gonna make quick work. But, yeah, still leaves the door open for the cheese to get two scores. Two extra two point conversions and tie this game up, so we'll see if they could do it. Patrick Mahomes and company already admit field right now. Let's go to Chris Russell in Washington, where the Rams trying to put the finishing touches on a 20 point victory. Well, actually, they have rich final score. 30 depend. They improved to four and one Sean McDaid, a in his return to FedEx Field to face his former team in the rain here at FedEx. In Landover, Maryland. It was pretty much one sided from the Spartan. I mean, Washington had a chance. If he did something better, a lot of things better and they did not. They were sacked. Times by the Los Angeles Rams. Erin with four AA and Troy reader with three. Those are his first three career sacks of the Ah in his 20 game, NFL career and really historian, Pathetic Washington offense, even with Alex Smith, making his return, which will get us back. 108 total net yards of offense on 52 plays, Wretch! That's an average of 2.1. They only ran the ball. For 38 yards, 70 debt passing or to mention all the sacks. There were two of 13 on third down just a dreadful, dreadful day again. Alex Smith, replacing Kyle Allen, who started who had replaced the one with Hoskins. Allen knocked out by Jalen Ramsey was cleared to return for the second half. Never did. Alex Smith went the rest of the way, making his work return to the football field for the first time in almost 708. They passed a lot. There was no limitations again Mentioned sex six times in the final count for Alex Smith on the day nine of 7 37 yards overall, is how he'll hit that line will reach Eric Golf just the opposite 21 of thirty three hundred nine yards to touch down to an epic. And the Rams get a good running attack gets a good walk from tight end Gerald every four catches for 90 yards, and they've been 30 to 10 Rich here at FedEx Field at Landover. Alright, and the Jets going to remain winless is Arizona comes east and walks away with the wind held two games slide. Here's Mike Mancuso. I'm trying to say Rich. That two minutes project can't wipe out a 20 point Way. Had two minute warning. This has been his ugly as advertised for the Jets. 30 to 10 Cardinals on top. Kyla Murray, a school for 380 Yards, one touchdown. They have couple of rushing touchdowns as well. Kenyon Drake has one chase. Edmunds has one. Kyla Berry has one DeAndre Hopkins has broken out big time today. 131 yards receiving, including a touchdown catch. Jets have gone with Joe Flacco, replacing Sam Darnold that hasn't worked out as well. And you know, they just don't have players right now, and the defense's isn't playing well it all they didn't come up big. In fact, Arizona not committing several penalties could be up by more than 20 points that they are Joe Flacco 18 of 3395 Yards beyond L 60 yards rushing Jamison Crowder. Decent day It received 116 yards I need catches with this team isn't good, not from there. Go into this week. Oh, and five as the Cardinals, as you mentioned, will leave town with a three to record two minutes remaining. Arizona 30 Jet pen. All right, let's go out west of Santa Clara, The 40 Niners and Dolphins underway. Here's Ryan Leon. All right, rich and the Dolphins have just scored, appears on a touchdown. The Ryan Fitzpatrick made quick work of the 40 Niners. I don't have the official staff but the very first play of the drive for the Dolphins with a pass to Preston Williams. It was it was deep, and it was good for I'm guessing, probably over 30 yards. And this just resulted now in a touchdown pass from spatter to Adam Shaheen. So the Dolphins are on the scoreboard, and it looked to be about a seven yard touchdown pass right now. And 0.6 nothing. Miami with lead and 45 to go in the first quarter. All right, so a good start for the Dolphins Out west in Santa Clara. They have the early lead. Let's head the Bob Stevens in Dallas, where the Cowboys and Giants and a combined What one and what's My Math is 118 So far? That's not a good start there, but a rivalry renewed nonetheless. Well, Jason Garrett is back in the house that a cold ground on 80 gave a barber. How boys coach tonight. Here's the Giantsoffensive coordinator and account to go the winters. You are giants today will be a battle well off, but the cowboy bad people bad often. In the cowboy allowed 146 clients in four days with 38 points a game in three strains that have the worst colonel ratio in the league, minus seven. Your name is trying to park scored in the NFL only 47 points and a touchdown to gain the injury. One's Cowboys banged up from a building with a revamped That's a blind today. Tyler Smith and Wow, how both out Now with season nd Adri, Senator Joe Loony is also out for a couple of weeks with me injury, So we're gonna see Brandi neither left tackle that white tackle the working Tyler will be a guest. Center. He's making this first and don't start. How do they cultivate Anthony Brown today and will make a change in the 2nd 2nd year man Donovan Wilson places very in Thompson. Are the Giants Today. Little Peppers is back after missing a couple of weeks with an ankle injury. All right. Bob should be a good one. I hope they're only three games. But, hey, you know, as I said, it is a rivalry. So you never know what you're gonna get with these two teams. As they say, throught the records. I think today we're going to throw up the records. Touch base in just a couple of minutes and hopefully be a smooth afternoon in Jerry World. You got five Stephens where the Cowboys Khun score, They have been able to stop many people. The Giants in this record setting offense of years so far..

"To win the division, but they're going to beat up on each other when they start playing each other, and it's gonna be a fun to watch. I think every single team in that division could make the post season right now. All four Are above 503 2 and one in Seattle at three, and that's what that's my NFC. You're really that high on the Cardinals. I'm not. I'm not home. Kyla Berry? No, I worry about the defence. I do worry about the defense. But we saw the Andre happens again today Have 10 catches in 100 yards. They haven't quite got the running game going, but I believe you're gonna marry. Yeah. Stutter Step here today, right now was mean rights he's got. He's got a little bit of that Lamar Jackson to him. He's got like, You don't want to see that dude in the open field. It's the Madden juke stick and someone's going to leave their jockstrap on the field. I think he the Lions rookie cornerback Jeff Oh, Kuda was the one who got got dropped right on the goal line when he hit him with that stutter step and went in for a touchdown. So as a welcome to the NFL moment, you love the youngster out of things you do. You do look because I got a lot of Cuyler Murray on my fantasy teams. Also another reason so everyone out there cares about that. But wait a minute, the way that you were supposed to contender pretender. So you have said the whole divisions continue to hold the whole divisions. Now I need the one, okay? Bye. Seattle. Seattle's The ultimate contenders has the best quarterback and I think he no doubt to admit it. I do think their defense is going to be an issue like vows. Put points in every game. They've been. It has been a shoot out. But in how long? Khun Russ bail you out with his magic. But, ah, he's the best player they got in the division. Maybe the best player in the NFL right now. So the ultimate contender is Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks Coming up here on Game night, a shootout on Sunday night Football. We hear what Sean Payton had to say. After Aaron Rodgers came to town and handed his Saints and L. That's next year, listening to Game night on ESPN radio. On ESPN app. Hey, it's creamy.

"About the situation on ABC is this week. Right now, our main goal and I think we better against bird wouldn't want that to be would be to protect the integrity of the election. As we protect the American people from the Corona virus, she says. Democrats in Congress have options but would not use the threat of a government shutdown to slow down, Republicans pushed to fill the Supreme Court vacancy. With the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The tug of war over her replacement is on an option to do Democrats have just to stop Republican from nominating a justice before the election. What options do they have? What? We talked about that with Russell Wheeler of the Brookings Institute, an expert on judicial selection about how the process might play out? Well, it could move on pretty quickly. If the Senate wants to do it. I think you could get it done could have Ah, hearing and vote before Election Day. The Democrats really have no way to stop that. They have a variety of monkey wrenches. They can try to throw into the gears, but I think the Republicans if they were determined it could bring it to a vote before Election Day, and I certainly have For Election Day something before the end of Trump's term, no doubt about that, whether they should do it, of course, is another question. What you think the president is looking for in a nominee here? What the administration is looking forward to put it that way. Somebody one who's young? You don't want somebody who's you know who's going to leave the bench fairly quickly. Somebody who's been vetted. And as they say, the most of the people they're talking about, have been vetted quite recently for the courts of appeals. And then you want somebody who's quite reliably conservative that shares the values with the Trump base. What can we expect to see as this plays out? The contentious is going to be allowed. I mean, there's all sorts of stakes here on the part of both parties, and there's so many moving parts. It's a little hard to say for sure we know you know we, for example, they need 53 votes to confirm they have Mike Pence if there's a tie, But what we don't know is how many if any, Republican senators of the two have said they would believe that the vote should be deferred until after the election. I have trump loses, I presume toe after he's out of office. So we don't know that. Presumably the White House has vetted already that candidates they're talking about because they put them in the court of Appeals. Most likely that's where the candidates will come from, so they won't take much vetting Toby hearings, The hearings will be quite contentious. Senator Harris is on the Judiciary Committee. So she she obviously be looking for Ah podium. Senator Graham claims to be incensed about the way Democrats treated then Judge Cavanaugh on his confirmation hearing, So we'll be loaded for bear. So it'll be a little bit quite a contentious hearing, and then it will move. To a vote the Democrats. As I said, I gave up the filibuster, so they really have no way to stop this vote from a curry. But again, I go back to what I said before. Whether they should or not, is a different question. And there'll be a lot of calculations. Republican senators up for re election I'm gonna have to calculate. Do I alienate the Trump base by voting not to proceed, or do I alienate the independent voters and the Democrats who I may need in the state like Arizona, Colorado to win by going in and voting for a nominee this late in the this late in the air, so We really just don't know out of things have to fall into place before we can make more accurate predictions. And that was Russell Wheeler, a visiting fellow in governance studies at the Brookings Institute. It is for 45 at w. T. O P, and it's time for sports sports at 15 and 45 brought to you by your local Honda dealer. Don't settle for less than a Honda Here is Rob would fork all right, Mike? Tough start for Washington. In Arizona. We just gotta Cuyler Murray touchdown run to make it a 13. Nothing advantage as time expires on the first quarter and actually make it 14 nothing now with the extra point As AH, Washington has turned it over twice in this first quarter. In fact, we had a stretch of between the two teams. Three turnovers in a span of eight plays this latest turn over Steven Sims fumble on a punt return, setting up Arizona too sweet for the touchdown. Kyla Berry also with a touchdown pass. To a wide open DeAndre Hopkins in the back of the end zone for a four yard score on their first possession again, 14 nothing now as the second quarter is about to get underway. Even with a loss today, Washington would remain atop the NFC East. The Cowboy's got a miracle come from behind win over the Falcons, but the Eagles and Giants each lost with big blue suffering. Perhaps the biggest loss of all is they fear seek want Barkley towards a CEO in the loss of the Bears. Injuries. The theme leaguewide, the Broncos lost drew locked to a shoulder injury and a loss to the Steelers. The 40 Niners with empirical victory over the Jets as Jimmy Garoppolo, Raheem Mostert, Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas all left with injuries. The Ravens and Texans still in the first quarter down in Houston, no score between the two teams as we're late now in the first quarter, the Nationals and Marlins just underway in Game two of their double header in Miami Trade Turner with a leadoff homerun for the Nats to put him up one nothing in the top of the first. "I'm I'm excited for them and I can't wait to see what our future looks like so it's pretty cool. I'm excited it. She's got the ravens this week so if the chiefs lose to them then yeah that's right buddy. The Ravens Look Pretty Damn good so we'll see what happens. Didn't they play Miami the first week the Ravens played first week. Don't know they did play the Miami. They bloom out. No that was the that was patriots. Wasn't it first week second week. The Patriots Bloom out. I don't know I don't know I'm just saying the Ravens Vince are a solid fucking team. Lamar Jackson is for real. I think their defense is bad ass and I really yeah I. I really think Baltimore's defense as bad as how many yards did Tyler Murray throw against the ravens three hundred sixty seven yards if I'm not mistaken Tyler Murray a rookie in the NFL throws for three hundred sixty seven yards against the Baltimore Ravens defense. They may have a run diesel only rookie. That's the kind that though there are secondary history Kyla Berry Patrick Mahomes. I'm not saying I I never said He. Was Tom Brady John. I I am never said that. He was mahomes. I never said anything like that. I'm just saying that I know football compared to last year. That's all I'm fucking saying that's that's interesting the cardinals for putting up a good game against the Ravens but I'm just a th the reason why I was commenting the fact that you said that the Baltimore's defense chance was good. They aren't did gone. Statistics prove otherwise okay okay if if if cuyler Murray is a rookie. NFL quarterback year one in his able to throw a three hundred sixty seven yards against Baltimore Tamar in Baltimore of all places. I don't think that their secondary is that grit and I'm sorry in Seattle Seahawk Earl. Thomas is their safety and Nagin. Suck some balls okay. That's all I'm saying they have a run defense. They can get to the quarterback. Yes that's great perfect all right cool. Cardinals have a better year than they're they're. They're going to have let them well vast. It was a garbage. They're looking like they're better than they were last. You're absolutely say otherwise but anyway that's talking about Miguel so so I'm not trying to fire any shots at the cardinals with what I'm about to say go forth grain of salt well. No I feel like Baltimore hasn't really a proven anything yet because he I looked they play Miami Week. One which are the Miami tanking dolphins right now right absolutely right and they yeah that bloom out it played the cardinals cardinals not seeing cardinals are bad. I'm just saying they have a new quarterback. They knew coach right. They're still trying to get everything together through cardinals so yeah cardinals played their heart out and to Joe's point Kinda Murray great but on the side of Baltimore Ravens. I don't feel like they've necessarily played a great team to say that they're doing great or doing bad i. We don't know where they're at right now. Miami's just trash Arizona you guys are new to where you guys are at you. Guys have Larry is a veteran. You have all these rookies rookie quarterback new coach all this other herself so to say that Baltimore's defense is Great. I don't know that I can agree with that based on who the match that they've had thus far. It's like the fucking Patriots Patriots I haven't played any one and plus an into Ed to Miguel's point. This is actually applies to the cardinals because the cardinal secondary is missing two of their star players absolutely right and they were still able to hold Baltimore. It wasn't a blowout no it wasn't I mean you know and it's like I just I'm not sold on Baltimore yet. I'm not I'm not either. Let's defense yeah. We'll see what happens week three against the the provable chiefs which are a very fucking good team. They're they're top notch in the AFC and I want to kind of see where ravens are at because that'll place where the cardinals are going to be at because as we haven't. We haven't played I mean the lions are good fucking team and we tied them. They're good fucking team. A lot of people are not I it was our first game mm-hmm and there's you know it's a rookie quarterback. He's got jitters shit so doing a tie and then do it throwing three hundred yards on the ravens. I'm very proud for cardinals for doing that because we would have laid down on both of those fucking teams. That's what I'm saying. That's it as long and I want to see what I'm saying. Is I wanna see what kind of tests they can do against the chiefs. That's it because the chiefs are the chiefs could blow out of the water easy Mahomes fucking exceptional quarterback. Their defense is way better than they were last year herb. I think so compared to last year. I think they're better no yeah. They're secondary has gotten a lot better. Apple has gotten a lot better. They won't be getting Jalen. Ramsey shut the DOC oatmeal. Oh man you bet you WanNa do a beer. Bet On this all right. You're in house yeah. It is beer bet out of your house. We'll we'll keep against Jalen. Ramsey gets a beer. Neither of US get Jalen Ramsey than no well yeah well twelve but if the eagles get them I'll get you beer cheese. Give me a beer there. It is all right so it but that's all I was saying hang was I'm very proud of the cardinals for turning it around from a garbage fire into something exciting for me as a cardinal's fan. I'm excited to see where future goes. That's is it so that was my what the fucks John. You didn't have anything right. Nope no one Miguel rock what the fuck is going on in Philadelphia every every year. We get a Shit Sonny Andrews this last week fucking Alshon the Sean Jackson both out for no given reason no one knew until gametime they were out so I'm sure that fuck some people in Fantasy Day day awesome. I don't have them Joe. No Chris I yeah sorry Chris but yeah like fuck I was hurt to so we have players and then the team. The fans are just shitting on a What's his name Blink? Why receiver go shit sonny yards? Wow now anyways Nelson Magwar agla yet dropped a pass but he's notorious dropping pass catches but I mean I mean he played his ass off. He got over one hundred yards like seven or eight receptions because nobody else was in. He was like the only one from the starting line the Centrum Zach Ertz it was on the field. So how is that last play with Zakar. It's man against the Falcons was that we're short. He was short yeah he was which is it was just yeah so it was a prime time game inbetween plays. I'm scrolling on my phone if I can how to turn off notifications from the Philadelphia Eagles Group is just knowing the fuck Outta me but at the end yeah they're just dogging on Aga- laren. It's like e played his ass off. What do you want from him? He did there but yeah and then there are other people people like those the first downs I ninety five percent of Eagles fans are saying no he was short fucking. Get over it. if we can ball the other fans of that team can an admitted. It was short fucking except that it was fucking short right. We're just trying to figure out trying to figure out what's going on with medical staff over there because every year it seems to be something's going on. There's a shit ton injuries this week. It was people hurt for no reason that we knew of and now L. or Sean Sean Jackson's out for two more weeks what the fuck is going on over there. There's a petition fire the medical staff which every year I feel like there's a conversation medical staff student something wrong yeah I want to piggyback on that what the Fuck for a second here to quarterbacks in the NFL. They're dropping like flies. It's it's crazy. It's it's fucking crazy. I mean you're talking about drew brees. Eli Manning fucking Nick Foles Cam Newton who who else I gotta go. He can't fucking Sam Darnold Sam darnold yeah. He's got the Kissing Sam Darnold Yeah and the backup copyright loophole is now playing 'cause 'cause Luke Falk from W. Issues Everson Trevor Siemian backup yeah John He yeah yeah. I won't be applauding that 'cause I mean Russell's been getting sacked like a motherfucker. I'm only applauding it. Because this was gonna I was GONNA bring up in Rancho now now a garment shoe and Luke Falk both starting as quarterbacks this week and they're both W grads so go cougs. That's crazy easy. I mean the cougs are taken over in the NFL. It's great I mean Jay. What's his name? cougs tight ends for us is doing decent so or not tight ends. He's a decent he's a safety can't remember his fucking name now but anyways go cougs for them. I mean they're doing great in the NFL good job John on the something to do with it you sure did your your fan. You give them that spirit lum Ni- you're an alumni absolutely all right so we're going to move on over to random shit. You guys have any random shit this week. I guess I'll talk about modern worker Rando okay. Oh we're. We're going to do a main topic for that because I didn't think I mean we talked about the Alpha now. It's the the Beta right yeah but the Betas actual multiplayer so they have dominate. No you only talk about I mean no no no no no not as main topic but yeah yeah just talking to random so right. Now I got the early access. They have domination nations six person six person heart heart point whatever it's called. I forget what it's called. There's a six person team dot match. They have ten in person domination. They're ten percent or point headquarters since when is called headquarters and it feels like modern warfare it feels amazing that now like the new mechanics they feel really good at the the customization. That's always been there. It's back to kill streaks just turning on and now to make sure he's installed. I am actually sorry but it feels really smooth. It doesn't feel like call of duty has felt for the past couple years his new cover mechanics which actually I touched on when we talked about the TV tube you but in actual sixty six ten B- Ten they actually feel useful there is so you've always been able to run sprint netted a different sprint. That's a little bit faster but your weapon is like way up here so I'm I'm just new mechanic..

"On fifteen? Anto first of all like to. And I never one of the teams that off my jet. Never wanted. Never needed him. All it was the rest book is a great player that just put the staff wouldn't Reggie Miller and talk Martin McGuinness think category. They didn't win the great players. Would you put them into? Yeah. I mean, you know, Charles Barkley got to an NBA finals loss to the bulls. You know? It feels like Russell Westbrook at times is the reason why his team doesn't win in. That's the difference between Reggie Miller and Charles Barkley because you know, Reggie was very economical. When it came to how many shots he took. He wasn't a volume guy. And Charles was unique the NBA not had anybody like Charles Barkley at that size to do what he did. And Russell Westbrook's unbelie blandly I just don't know if he's a great leader great team player. And I think that they're times when he hurts his team. How many great players of all time. Can you say you haven't heard his team LeBron last this past season was hurting his team because the defense, but they weren't trying to win it. They weren't gonna compete for championship. But he did hurt his team at times because he didn't play the other end. How many other guys can you think of where you go? You know, what he hurt his two? Yep. Two years ago, we kind of lumped hardened Westbrook in the same grouping and Westbrook had done more in his career because they got pretty. Far in the NBA playoffs had Durant. But now, it feels like it's Durant hardens time where they've got Clint cappella and Gordon around they've got enough around that he can be off of only player and the rest of the guys can handle the defense. But you've got James harden who could fall in the same category very easily that he could be all said and done, and we'll look back and go he was unstoppable, but you know, had his chance against Golden State and didn't produce Russell Westbrook at is chance against Golden State did not produce or they would probably each have NBA titles. And if they had beaten, Golden State, would that have changed the NBA would Kevin Durant have stayed if they beat Golden State James harden, if he they beat Golden State are they winning the championship apple or the Golden State Warriors the Michael Jordan. Now this team you having to be playing in the wrong era. You just it just didn't work out for you that well that Klay Thompson doesn't hurt Steph. Curry doesn't get hurt. Durant doesn't hurt? They got everybody. They're getting better every year and for the past four years LeBron picked up one win, which is a hell of an accomplishment. But everyone else is playing in the wrong era right now just the timing for for guys like that. But the bulls were together for a longer period of time. And you didn't have that. Snipping at each other and gossip, and you know, Mike left for a year and a half to go play baseball than the rockets come in and get to championships if Mike doesn't go play baseball. The rockets probably aren't getting those championships Akeem allies one should have season tickets to the Birmingham Barons, just buy season tickets because you know, support Michael Jordan, make sure he stays in. Baseball's long as possible. In his greatest Akeem is you know, you gotta have those championships. He's elevated because he won championships. There. Tim Duncan is elevated because he won championship. It does that to you. I sometimes it denigrates guy. It's more than it elevates. You. I think when you win those championships of how your view well one three titles. Dwayne Wade is a better player because he won a couple of titles. If he didn't have those titles. We look Dwayne Wade and go, you know, he was kind of like a really telling a guy, maybe a Russell Westbrook type. But you know, James harden might end his career with no titles as well. Very good posssibility that although I haven't beaten Golden State this year. Mclovin. You wanna stay with the poll question, by the way, say good morning to our TV partners be our live dot com and audience to thirty nine directtv. I think we can move on to blow out people would take saquon over Sam darnold the saquon. Awesome. So I kinda got that. Yeah. But you guys brought this up prior to the show and Bleacher report redrafted instead if the giants had to do it again with the taken Sam darnold in my point is I don't know what I have Sam darnold as much as we liked what we saw USC at times and even had some moments with the jets, I still don't know. I know what I have was saquon Barkley now. Can I win with a running back and a average better than average quarterback? Probably not. But I I would still take Barclay. I already have results. I don't know what I haven't Sam darnold guessing. That's what I find. So interesting about that topic is that even running back to even sure thing running back to with a year of. Proven success still isn't worth that money. Well, what are the analytics on running backs? Mclovin. Their analytics love quarterback quarterback more quarterbacks. Analytic study says invest draft who've if you have to okay, but what what was the draft grade for Carolina with Christian McCaffrey was that like a like a d a d in that right up? I don't even remember who that was Christian McCaffrey the right pick for Carolina at eight K Carolina's got issues. I don't know. I mean, they're not they don't seem to be a winning trajectory. But you blame them for taking Christian McCaffrey at two thousand yards from scrimmage. Yeah. I don't know that that's gonna work out for them. I mean, the problem cafeterias Kamara one in the third round James Conaway around Kareem hunt win third round. So people are like, wow. You know what I could have gotten that production? Elsewhere. What else is missing on my team all the case like the Jaguar drafted Leonard for net. Yeah. He's done. Very little for them. And they got a player to do what he did in the fourth or third round. But for net is one dimensional just a battering ram. Now. He's got speed. But you got to be able to catch the ball out of the backfield. That's why I look at saquon and Christian McCaffrey, that's what you need at the running back position. I got somebody who can gain a thousand yards move the chains. But I got somebody who is my safety valve and catch, you know, seventy eighty ninety passes out of the backfield. The problem is he's supposed to be a safety valve. He was the only valid with Carolina. There was no other valves. Okay. Thank god. They had him. They what would they seven to nine that didn't have him probably five eleven, but but you still key did his job. He's amazing saquon Barkley did their job. It's the front office didn't do their job or the other players that you know, the high price defensive players they have they didn't do their job. I can't put any blame on saquon Barkley. Oh, not at all. But you still it hasn't been proven that taking a quarter running back that high can lead to a championship. Yeah. I mean, it seems like draft a quarterback high risk. And by what you said had some moments with the jets. I think we handicap like some moments with hall of fame were they do anything with the jets your. That's why lately saquon Barkley this with giants who have no offense of line. The defense was disappointment. And you know, we're trying to replace ally. Manning at just about every week during the season Odal Beckham junior that drama there injury, sterling shepherd. I but the giants have recently struggled with jets quarterback spot at an all time problem. You know, you know, the jets we still have that stigma. Boy, the jets take them they're going to ruin them. Eight seven seven three DP show, Email address DP, Dan, Patrick dot com. Bucks close out the pistons, jazz, stay alive, Luke Walton in a jam here with the kings of hired him if they knew about this and the answer's no. And now what happens with Luke Walton and the Sacramento Kings the Suns fired their head coach eager after one season. You know, that's a bummer for eager. Right. You would think that you survive one season? Hey where you the right coach for a bad team. But you're not the right coach. If we start to get better, and Larry drew with Cleveland, you were the right coach for bad team. But hey, we're gonna have a good team or get better. We're gonna get rid of you. Yeah. And anytime you hire and fire codename eagle he moved from a long way to get him. He didn't he that grow up in Scottsdale. And he just got used to the warm weather after coming in from Siberia or something like that. He probably got rid of all of his winter wardrobe. Now going to have to go back. Yes, mclovin. It's going to go down in the thirty thirty day about him. Not taking Dante. Yeah. But it's not his fault. But he should've commits them. Like, I know this dude, he's not the GM. I'd have what you would it made sense at the time. Like, well, they got this guy who knows this draft prospect who happens to be spectacular. What if he said? What if he said, you know, what I wouldn't take Luca Danni while now that would be the great thirty for thirty remind you a little bit of a cliff Kingsbury Kyla Murray you hired him and people are saying, well, you hire them and you're thinking Kyla berry baby magic raptors tonight nets seventy Sixers Spurs nuggets thunder blazers. Does it feel like we've already moved on to the next round? Even though we haven't officially moved on to the next round certainly in the west like the rockets are gonna play the warriors. Like, wait. There's more games. Like they got to finish this up. Tidy this up a little bit here. Put away the clippers and put away the Utah Jazz. I we'll take a break check in on the raiders. "Carolina. That was coach talking about the nineteen eighty five Michigan wolverines team James Walter awards. I was JJ. And I said that was that was that. That's state game. At the end of the game. You got. Manage? I okay sounded to say because he said the same thing at South Carolina gave you could go back and look at that. That was that was week too. He went down there. Thirty five to three, Jamie. You had a pretty good game that day to. Okay, you listen, that's my favorite team in history. But that's your coach Shane something your team and those players, and I bet you even though eighty six team big ten champion this nothing compared to that eighty five coming up that eighty four season. Did it you're right. And I want to tell you this. I would give a three fingers on my left hand to Ben part of that. And I'm proud of my career, whether it was softball swimming. Or whatever. Play. You know what? You get a, Jamie. Moore's you, get it quitted yourself. Well, both on and off the field. Thank you for. What you did? God bless your pick in maize and blue heart go boo, but everybody in the sweetie audience better. Remember? Oh. Work. Sounds good. Seven three four eight ten fifty. Let's go to Gabe in all places, Columbus what's up game. Good. How about you? I'm hearing you guys you guys. Thank you. We appreciate that. Agreement bonus. I'm bringing them a little one. Playing basketball. Everybody's so nice football season overview. Football. Well, we know it's basketball season here in Arbor. But. It's coming. Hey. Now, exactly. Walgreens, man, and you know, even though the little guy he's upset about us. Emails. I believe in. Point Paul's point to change. League. Don't. Lots filming liberty. They're playing good. We need to get back as much as I was the beginning of the suspect on that. Yes. You can get it back and. State game was horrible. That was ridiculous. Jackie. But I do think there's a whole number right now as far as out protein. What do you think? Yeah. I'll go with that. I'll go with that a little bit. I'm seen these guys play. These guys all your loan against all these different teams last three games. I've been seeing these guys come out anything. You're talking about casting way back. And I know we gotta get into the. But is it really necessary to do that? At the time. We get big ten title. Are you talking about when we the first half and Michigan state unloaded their bids to the they go to their backup. So I mean coach was trying to match player for player. I think. I still see David since you know, you're right. He he was he got stuck in there. And he I mean, he he was in there. I would I would I was expecting to see Eli Brooks or. His name. Julius. Yes. David jewison. So I just. No, I got him to. Four years again. And you know, he wanted me to tell you guys. So let's do it. I love you. All man. Thanks. Appreciate it. Seven three four nine eight. Did fifty get ready five. Five o'clock. Mike's Mike song what's up, Mike? I gave away Dr. I'm good, man. I'm just looking talking on the radio, and, you know, checking things out seeing if I'm happy about anything anybody's got to say, what are you got to say I need to change your the the navy or show from five o'clock Mike to Cookson craft. I got four questions for you, man. Number one. Are you ready? I'm wait. I'm willing to wait. There's not gonna be a big ten team in the final four. But who has the best chance to make it to the final four? I'm thinking, I'm thinking, Gonzaga, Duke, Gonzaga, Duke in a you know, what I'm gonna go with maybe Kentucky. And then I said the big ten team who works which big ten team has the best chance. Oh, big ten team. That has well. I mean, Mike I'm gonna go with Michigan on that one. What I'm gonna go with Michigan? All right. Now with the first draft pick in the NFL draft rich positions as the Detroit Lions draft. Wow. I I you know, what I'm gonna go with defense defensive lineman. My last question Lou who is going to be the Detroit. Tigers starter an opening day in Detroit. The number one pitcher. You to ask me that? Wrongs for. I can't think of his day right now. I. We'll be the guy if he's healthy. Thanks, mike. I look. That's what I was thinking Zimmerman if we're lucky. Somewhat get some of that stuff back together. But yeah, him former will be it'll be cured former. Yeah. Fomer is a good one too. It will be curious who the decided to throw out there remains. I think a little bit more experienced throwing on opening day. But as a cold day, usually. Very warm. Been to a few of them. It's not very warm fun number warm. Yeah. No, I will be there. Maybe maybe that Saturday because that's the kids opening day. You know that right? I mean, look at the base it's called it's called the kids opening day. There's a few. There's a few schedules in here. So I had the opportunity to take a look at him. And look at them, you know, get get my get up to speed on on what what day these I want that day. Do you? Remember that day? They don't even though love those you reference. Some of the other places on the east coast. East coast. Baseball fans getting everybody else in trouble. Yeah. The White Sox that they all ran on the field disco days that was that was the the debt the death of disco disco. And they were trying to you know. And that was that was between a double header when they did it then they had to cancel the game. Yeah. They cancelled the second one. So I told you there's a new two thousand nineteen NFL mock draft out. Yup. Arizona Cardinals taking Kyla Murray. San Francisco really they're giving up, but the have everyone given up on rose in that early. You spent he was the what the tenth pick thirteenth take something in love with that guy. Now everybody's in love with Murray. Maybe you could try if you try to maybe get something for to say if you're gonna if you go to if you go to do that. But I don't know why you would take Kyla berry. I would stay how many Super Bowls do these new wave quarterbacks. Have none right now. But got two zero guy give them a chance. How many who in new wave quarterbacks? Who's new wave quarterback guys that play predicted would. I mean, really Mahomes is the one right? You know, I guess RG three would be one Colin Kaepernick. Okay. I'm some guys that Colin Kaepernick Russell Wilson. I don't really consider him a spread quarterback. He would play under under center with a run game for the most part, but he was enough to make plays on his own. But he wasn't a spread quarterback. Do you would what are your thoughts? I think he's a new wave quarterback. He he was he was he was not a prototypical drop back throw quarterback in an era that they decided, okay. We got Russell starting. Matt fleet. Remember was supposed to be starting quarterback. I yeah, I remember. But also just like a guy like Donovan McNabb was a guy who was athletic enough to make plays. Russell wilson. And maybe now you can say but last year they still led the league in rushing. Russell Wilson is not a drop your typical drop bass, not your typical drop. I would say he's more of a quarterback. Russell Wilson is going to run. No matter what he's gonna take off run. If he doesn't have anything if he does. Murther designed runs did. Earlier if you look at him early on not now, they don't want to expose them now because he got big time contract. But when he had that rookie contract they were willing to they were willing to risk came out there. Let's let let's let Russell right. I'm just saying they do they did look at Cam Newton. We say Cam Newton. He's a he's I think of him as a new wave quarterback. He started the wave one of them. He's part of Sergio. I mean, look I'm sorry championships of these new wave guys one. But you could say that they've been the championships. They get. They won. They haven't won any yet. Any has your traditional drawback passing quarterback? Well, how many people have bought into the typical? I mean, that's not fair to even say that they'll get their don't work. It'll get there. It'll get there. They'll figure it out. They'll figure it out was around for a long time ago Vick was a drop back throw quarterback. Again. He was a fast quarterback that nobody can keep up. What he was the fastest man on the field. He was now he was going to say he's that way. But Russell listens. Not that way. Because. Because he played way before that quarterback was in the show. In philadelphia. He was he was a drop back quarterback when he got wait a minute when he got the Philadelphia. That's when they went to the shotgun more because they will run at what they were running chip chip chip Kelly offense for low while and Michael pulled pulled pulled this quiet. That was when he got old. That was an older Michael Vick. But the young Mike Vick. He was dropped back through quarterback. And he forced himself to stay in the pocket because he didn't want to be called a running quarterback. Think about that. I mean, he forced himself to do things. Just to prove to all the naysayers that he could throw the ball from the pocket to say, it it happens and you to yourself by doing that. I mean, do you consider. Here's a guy who's in the shotgun. All the time. Do you think of what's his name from from the lions is he is he is he a new wave quarterback? No, certainly not. Okay. But he's not he's not a stereotypical dropback throw quarterback because you know, why he's already back there. Yeah. He is. Right. Anything with Tom Brady? They are quarterback. Even if they don't take right. Tom Brady started out as a drop back quarterback when he was still game those guys, but can't stop the you can't stop the rush. So you give a quarterback a chance by being back. So you get your blockers. They get a better view, you still get the time still played when they played in the one Tom Brady Tom Brady Caitlyn city even Tom Brady. Joe flacco wanted to give it time. You'll see beat cap. Look, you'll see listen to welcome around. Wave is changing the way changing. But yes, changing defense. All change. Eventually. I'm not worried about it. I'm not sitting here trying to defend it because I don't care about it. Honestly, just let the guy run the ball. But I'm just saying I who easy. It's too soon to give up on a guy like Rosen just because you think that this is the new wave, and no you this is a new wave coach. That's why they dropped their dropping rose Rosen is not the quarterback that this guy is used to coach. So they're not giving up on Rosen. They're just trying to get him a quarterback that he would be comfortable with. It's not giving up. I said get you something for a Rosen. If you're going to do it. I still think they're not gonna do it. Because that makes that GM look bad because they traded that quarterback and you took him in the first round last year. I mean, why would you get rid of him? It's not the way to do it. So you think for them? It's one of two it's either Bosa were Murray with that one pick either you go with the new wave offense, and you abandoned what you did last year or you go with you, either take Bosa or you trade down. That's it. You take Bosa which is a smart move because your defense needs help or you go with a Ugo with picking go gets more picks build yourself build yourself a team. I mean, don't don't don't don't try to stick their and get another. I mean and take another quarterback that that does make sense to me. I mean, then you got to quarterbacks and you'd better trade one. And I don't know who's gonna take Rosen right away. The year that he had last year. Not for anything worth a whole lot. Yeah. Didn't have you know played. Okay, showed glimpses. But didn't have the best year. Right. Oh, yeah. You're not gonna get a whole lot for him. If you just try and train him rate right now. Right. So I mean like I said you hold onto him. He he becomes he becomes valuable you work with them. Look cliff Kingsbury has gotta show that he's a coach too and he can coaching this league. Because right now, Arizona is the laughing stock of this league because you took a fired college football coach, and you made them a head coach. NFL t let's be honest..

"Would I told you what his draft? No, he he didn't like it when he was a buffalo. He never he never taken. He'd never liked it before college. He wasn't in love with him. So would even even though you say, well, he didn't like it be college. But how do you die? Like, right coaches are like that man. It's it's it's the it's the safety. We talk about Kyla berry. You say with he fails at three to four years. He goes to play baseball though, because somebody who loves him we'll say, hey, just a week and fix it. Don't worry about the behemoth want to play baseball. He may be time to there's always somebody that like you. It is always somebody that don't like you just never were picking the draft is several people would say I would have ever taken up here this. So people have said, you're crazy. I mean, it's just. You can't have it both ways you're not gonna please everybody. It I think in this situation. Odell Beckham is probably a better fit than AB for the raiders you say, well, you got two guys that Tokyo, you guys style. Just offensively schematic just personality wise, just think personality wise. At Tokyo, Brian this more. Likely to smack Jon Gruden I'm serious Orioli metaphorically or literally probably litter. What about the odeal? They'll go kinda just you know, whatever cottages. Do as little ad takes go about his business where he's really go be challenged by a beat. So there's a different different situa-. She's really go be challenged by AB AB. He did he just straight up. You know, I tell it like it grew. What that clearly he does that. He would prefer a more personal like it's hard to say because he seems like that same type of guy, but he wants more. Odell a little boy subdued. Yeah. Due to degree. He's just a little more Hollywood. Boy, it he seems to be more team oriented than Tonio Brown. I would necessarily say that. No, no. I think both of our team oriented. I think AB just sees sees it for what it is. He sees it. I don't know that Odell c API is more like me. I see it. I see I will tell you. I see it before anybody else. Like, you say I saw Jon Gruden cupboard through the door. You kids Pappa me kisha. I saw it. Okay. I said talk to it. But heard and I'm like, okay. Well, feels like I'm getting ready to go to use lot here by a car. It's hilarious to be that when you're evaluating like. Okay. Oto Beckham and AB you're both very very good. Very good. And you're thinking, and you said they ABC probably a better player. Maybe the gap is in huge. Maybe maybe. But you're thinking, okay, I need to pick instead of just picking the best possible player that if I'm if I'm just saying who's the better player in Tonio Brown's better, but I want because personally that he's going to be a better fit personnel control in a little bit, right? Role that guy more than I can throw that other guy. Give me that do because kisha old deal key shot at Abia till you go pal say where oh deals not gonna say anything. See a beagle. "Tuesday network. Once again, here's your host, Eric g n Randy Renner. All right. Let's go ahead and jump into the other room and Eric yellow start talking about all this stuff with Bob stoops and the XFL and whatever else is going on down that part of the world. Now, if somebody branches on the tree it's hard to know where to start all start with this was announced on Thursday afternoon that Cuyler Murray is going to attend the NFL combine I would also suspect that he's going to have a pro day. I'm not really thrilled about this to be honest because there's a lot of times where you could go to the combine, and you can do yourself more good or do yourself more harm than you could good. And I worried that that might be the case in Cuyler Murray's favor. However, every time there has been a challenge put before the guy like Kyle Murray or put before a guy like Kylo Murray. He always tends to rise to the occasion. The thing. I like about this about him going to the combine is that his future gets a little bit more clear to me, and I've always felt that Cuyler Murray. And it's it's been stated that he loves football more than he loves baseball. And that's really whereas heart is this is just one more step to ensuring that in. It's one more step to letting NFL teams know just how serious he is about playing their sport. I just hope that all the draft projections that I've seen for Kyle Murray of late. Don't come true. We've seen the raiders the Redskins the Miami Dolphins came up he could start for any of those teams. And Kyla berry certainly could handle it. I would still rather see him end up in an organization that is a little bit more stable. But like Baker Mayfield he's gonna come in with a lot of moxie a lot of swag. And if you tell him he's the franchise player, I'm I'm more than confident that Kylie Murray can handle that. And be very successful being the franchise player. And who knows Tom Brady's about to retire soon. Peyton Manning's retired the NFL needs another rivalry in two or three most marketable stars in the NFL when the next five-year may come from Oklahoma in the form of Kylie Marie and Baker Mayfield. You throw Patrick Mahomes into that. And now you've got a pretty good three way battle for who might be the most exciting fun quarterback to watch in the National Football League. The patriots though would have to wouldn't you think you have to trade way up to get collar Murray, or do you think he could last that long? I it all depends on it all depends on how desperate the teams are in front of them to get a quarterback and the patriots. They're usually they're usually team that doesn't show. A lot of desperation. There are other good quarterbacks out there that they can get. I am assuming that they would like to draft. Tom Brady's heir apparent. What when they feel he's out there. But I'm not one hundred percent certain that that the patriots feel like Tom Brady's heir-apparent is in this draft based on everything that the other question if your collar Murray in the patriots draft, you would you be willing to stand on the bench and carry a clipboard for ten years in that organization? Yeah. But you won't have to stand there. And you want wanted to stay there for years, you're looking at the at most Tom Brady's what forty one four years at the most his goal is forty five and he shows no signs of slowing down. But it really for Tom Brady all it takes is is the Giselle having one good conversation with him. Oh, you are added to their added to their already, you know, top T added to that top ten class that they've got in recruiting this week, according to twenty four seven they're number six which puts them behind Texas in the overall rankings. But I'm all right with that. Because. Ultimately, I think it's good for the of. And of course, Lincoln Riley. Biggest recruit wasn't anyone that was in new wave nineteen. It was Jalen hurts. And by everything that Lincoln Riley says hurts his fitting in just find it. Oh, you right now. Knocked up and excited to have MAC really joke quickly with his teammates here, which I don't think that's the surprised many people. And so. Put in the time worrying for debate getting to being in school near the door. Great job. So. This is going to be one of the more. Exciting. But this one's gonna start might be what Jalen hair young players with adult throat ear bringing in a lot of these great pointing night paint club at that year's that's gonna be a lot of exciting to see this point nineteenth and come together. And while oh, you fans are very excited about that. They're also excited about the prospect of seeing Bob stoops coach in the National Football League. Well, that won't happen anytime soon because right now, he's coaching in the XFL, which makes total sense. And I I will just say this much if I'm an owner in the NFL, I take Lincoln Riley before I take Bob stoops. And it's just because if you've been in college as long as Bob stoops has you're used to being in control in today's NFL, if I'm an owner, I want to GM to be a liaison between you and me, and I want that GM picking the players. I don't think a guy like Bob stoops is into that as evident as you can hear. Right here as to all the reasons he chose to take on this new adventure. It connected. Well, with us just a few hours away up in Norman Oklahoma where we have three children in school at OU right now. And as everyone knows I still have a an attachment to to the football program. And no you and Joe Castiglione coach Riley and on and on. And and so it sort of blended that, hey, this this isn't, you know, this is for our family and for that connection. This works pretty well. Also excited about the opportunity of starting something from the ground floor. You know when I stepped away. A couple years ago. You know, every one one of my major reasons, and I made it very clear as I wanted my own time I wanted to be the boss of my own time, and and live that way. And and you know, as the old saying goes, be careful what you wish for. You know? And all of a sudden I got to thinking after a couple of years some days, I've got too much time when my hands. So you start to you know, to look at what are what are what are your options? And then to start a program from the ground floor to hiring coaches, and then you've got to put together your, you know, you got accumulate your players. Get your Ghana's -ation all set up it. It reminds me a lot of when I first arrived at at Oklahoma avenue. Put the staff together little by little get it. Correct. And I thought it was one of the best things I ever did in my entire career was my very first staff at OU in getting those getting the right guys with me right from the start, and it jumpstarted us and gave us an opportunity in in the second year to to win a national championship. And that's what I'm hopeful for here. The jumpstarted by hiring the right guys here in time. It'll take a little bit of time. But but being able to cumulate the right coaches in all areas and look forward to work with them. But that's exciting to me the opportunity, you know, to to put it together and to help it grow and. The challenge to put a great product on the field. I really believe the quality of players will attract big you'll you'll enjoy watching him compete. Very I don't need to really add anything more to that. I will say oh, you placed Texas Tech coming up today at three o'clock. This is a huge game for Oklahoma. Who's lost three straight? Oh, you is still a ten seed according to Joe Lunardi in the latest bracket tala g despite doing everything they can to get themselves out of the tournament. Kidding? For OU. It's a matter of they just don't shoot any well on and they don't shoot well anywhere on the court from the three from the three from the free throw line. They're just not a very good shooting t but the way they mass that or made up for it. A lot of times was just effort and good defense. And that hasn't even been there over these last three games or was against Iowa State against West Virginia, it kind of popped in and out and for oh you to win a game. Like this today. It's going to take forty minutes of good defensive effort to beat to beat Texas Tech team. And if they can play the type of defense, we know that they're capable of playing. They might actually come out with an upset and you win that game. Even though it's home. It's certainly gonna look good to the selection committee. Yep. Yep. That's backed. All right. We need to take a break. We'll do that. When we come back. I'll talk as you will hear from my cowboy basketball coach, Mike Boynton as the Cowboys, get ready. To take on the rock Chalker's up in Lawrence. And we'll also hear from always you baseball coach Josh holiday about the new stadium and the baseball season promote, oh, you know, you relapse matter a begins on Friday. So we'll take a break. And then be back with that. This is game day Saturday on the Owen. Let's.

"This is Dan Patrick back in our to the Dan Patrick show half. Spurlock Connor fritzy, we're still here. Dan patch show Dan's under the weather day. We got the helm. One first hour heard a lot from Rams fans a little later in the in the hour. We're gonna hear more lines a loaded with Rams fans unveiling the pain today Pearl off. I mean, the most pain we heard was Ross Tucker complaining about all media room lay out for lunch. That was that was tough radio. That was really heartening. I'm not sure who is tougher to be around when they haven't had a full meal you or Ross Tucker because if you're not well fed you could be a little surly yourself. Oh my gosh. Yeah. Atlanta. I don't know if you guys noticed, but I it was there were some desperate food situation. When we are on the road. We get in about two hours before the show. And if the food is in there within an hour the first day Monday, you guys remember what happened with catering? I will never forget this. Yeah, there's come till nine some of the stuff that we had to fight through Seton that not having omelettes onset early. And that's what we expect. It was a disastrous start to the week. There's no doubt about that. I mean, I, oh, I couldn't think of it's it's just as disastrous as Tom Brady. Throwing an interception on the first play the Super Bowl. Or his first throw of the Super Bowl. I mean, it was that catastrophic. I gotta tell you though, I stayed extra day in Atlanta. I came home Sunday show. Many people came up to me and talked about various guests on our show last week. It was incredible. What what was did any guest question? Stand up more than others of the Dan Patrick show last week us. Well, yeah, there's that. But it wasn't just just Kyla berry. I know you're talking about it was a lot of Cam Jordan saquon Barkley. There's so many guys got a lot of reaction to shec- people. Just love the interviews. We had last week. And then there was Kyla Murray. We are going to talk about the column our interview last week and bring back some audio. From that interview. Let's talk about last night. Where were you guys set up for the game? What's your strategy? I'll go last. But what's fritzy I'll start with you? What was your strategy your back home? Did you go party? Did you bunk bunker down with some many hotdogs what you do? I would've loved the there with my wife, and my daughter up the road to a friend's house to watch the first half who are the Super Bowl they had a Super Bowl pointed. But thankfully, I had a nice chair in front of a big TV trying to avoid a whole lot of chatting. I said hi to everybody when I first got there. So then I can kind of be antisocial just focus on the game. While it was going on. You have a choice to not go to the party. I did. But I had blown it off a few other times. And in speaking with my wife, she said let why don't we go for the first half may or may not stay for the, you know, the halftime show. And then she promised me we'd get backed by the second half. So I could sit at my laptop and watch the game in the privacy, everyone homework on guests and all that kind of thing. So I worked on nicely. Got some food said hi to some friends and by by the start of the third quarter. I was home. And it was it was quite lovely. I went into. An isolation chamber in the bedroom and headroom. Yeah. So the bedroom. That's probably I'm not a huge TV you're dealing with. No, I had a small TV, but the distractions downstairs with the kids I did not want to risk it. Not the issue was I had made a huge Chile two kinds of meat. No big deal. And I had to eat that in the bedroom, which my wife was upset. I'm like at Super Bowl. We all have to do things adjustable with adjust. Yeah. I did the same actually not in the in the bedroom..

I did the same actually L. No, not in the in the bedroom. But I made chili which I'm starting to get into. I've never been much of a chilly maker, but I'm dipping my toes into the chili pot here. Wait to taste that Chile. Yeah. Yeah. It's scenes famous toe dip chilly. So I actually had things set up. Pretty well. I was watching at home with my wife, my son my in laws were in town. They're huge patriots fans. My mother-in-law is the one who coined eight. Okay. Ed calling the patriots. But I made one colossal error in that we are this weekend. We've started fostering to nine week old puppies timing who are absolute Hellenes. And I spent almost the entire game going like, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no running around just picking up these dogs who are going to the bathroom all over. They're chewing on all my furniture. They're doing, and it's it's great. They're the cutest sweetest little things in the world. And normally I wouldn't care, and I would just have fun doing that. But instead I'm like I'm trying to make this chili while Bali's going number two over there in the corner. And I'm like, oh my God. I gotta go get this done. And then there's the sweetest cutest little things in any other weekend. It would be fine. But this was just the wrong weekend to start doing that. I was at home on hunker down by myself. Good size TV, great food and eleven I'm gonna give my wife a lot of credit one of her friends decide to have a Super Bowl party not too big a couple of couples, Jim and Diane down the street to come by. How's it mortgage is your news, man? And I'll give my wife credit. My wife could see on my face that I had no interest in going. I don't wanna talk to anybody. There's always the danger of like, you're watching the first quarter of people who don't watch football. And then as soon as that first rack up commercials comes on someone hoesch, I wanna watch these. That's my single biggest pet peeve. So I was one TV mostly by myself, then the family came home after halftime hung with me. Did you guys watch any of the the pre-game show started at like seven thirty in the morning. It was the craziest thing every time. I turned around. There was some pre game show on. I watched quite a bit of it. You know, what I did like was the Super Bowl opened by CBS? Remember, they did that one with John Malkovich before Peyton Manning is fantastic with comedy, and he did that whole bit where he's going to produce the SuperBowl open. John malkovich's at the Coliseum, aroma goes, no, Rome. Italy. No, Rome, Georgia. I mean, I thought manning really nail that malkovich's got a whole new lease on life with these promos. Yeah. We'll talk about commercials later, but it also had a role in the NFL one hundred commercial. They Peterberg our friend. Yep. Directed I'm going to say right now, I know we're gonna dive a newsletter that was my commercial the night or you call that one. I call. That was my number one seed, I feel like that. I know top was complaining earlier in a home ninety commercials that one will stick. Absolutely. All right. Let's get to what the game the fall. We talked a little bit. And I our how the game left a lot to be desired from an action standpoint the first three quarters the fourth quarter, at least it was tight. At least it was tense. They Brady and the patriots had a fourth down and inches where they had to make a decision. But let's start with the Rams day because we're gonna talk about Brady's greatness and compare him to Jordan and compare them to everyone else Babe Ruth for the next two weeks. But what do you think the fallout is for the Los Angeles Rams are people are going to jump off the bandwagon. That is Sean McVeigh the bandwagon. That is Jared Goff is Todd Gurley gonna have knee surgery tomorrow morning. And that'll explain everything where do you think the fallout is right now guys? It's amazing. Because remember everyone wanted the next Sean McVeigh, Bill Belichick just beat up, Sean McVay. So the Bengals have Jack Taylor his his protege or cliff Kingsbury in Arizona teams making mistakes by hiring these offensive guys come playoff time. The officials swallow their whistles that's one big thing. Offense skill players get hurt that really changed the NFL. So defense is way more important. It's Dan always says defense wins. But didn't you feel like the Rams were were just about to break? It open. Didn't you feel like at some point? There was a play to be made. And they just didn't make the play. Yeah. I did. I thought the same thing. Odds are with Robert woods, and they don't again Cooper not being there. You think eventually they're going to get one touchdown drive. The odds are just against them. They average what thirty one game during this run nothing zero the longest drive was forty eight yards. And you could also make an argument for the opposite. It's just a matter of time before New England finds a way to break it open. They do it all the time. And they're going to take the lead the lead and they're going to win another Super Bowl. There's no way they're gonna allow themselves to lose two Super Bowls in a row. It's a matter of time before New England gets that score in the Knicks. The big stop defensively. I mean, the the Rams were tired, but they were on the field the whole first half because they couldn't stop Julian element. I kind of thought that elements MVP was a little weird because he didn't do much. He had one catch on the scoring drive. Really gronk had two huge catch on the scoring drive. So adamant dominated the first half. But they didn't get any points. But he's still I think deserves the MVP because he wore out the Rams defense, so bad element. Kind of gets the MVP last night by the fault. No one had done anything for three quarters except for him. So it was like well who's? Second. There was no second place with Dont'a Hightower was at the punter Hecker for the Rams he the guy probably the top five candidate for MVP last night because he kept his team alive from appeal positions stamp. It was a little bit of a career achievement MVP in a way. Whereas like this guy he's had some big moments over the years. Let's give it to him. I mean, Sony Michelle could have gotten it. But if the Rams had one. I don't know. I had no idea. Romo said something about Matthew Slater. I know. It's silly the special teams as it's amazing to me. He was down on every punt. It was almost freaky. He was in the corner every time, and that's the kind of exactly what you guys said all the specialists were like really the MVP's. All right. Let's look at Ataman. We talked about about a week and a half ago on the Dan patch show, we didn't discuss Julian Edelman for the hall of fame, we discussed would you rather have Julian elements career or Calvin Johnson's career. Meaning do you want to be a good regular season player who has a lot of posting success is a vital cog in the postseason, which is settlement or Calvin Johnson. Who at one time was not only the best wide receiver in the sport. But maybe the best position player in the sport. But he never had any postseason success since then element is now added an MVP and the Super Bowl. Do you guys? Where do you guys stand? Quick-reaction everyone Rex overreacts quickly Eshelman MVP hall of fame. The how much does this jump him up? Pretty pretty high up there. So I was the guy arguing what are you talking about Calvin Johnson is probably the second most talented wide receiver. We've ever seen hockey's Handelman then last night during the game. I'm like, oh, no settlements out hot. Like there goes by the new element catch by a lot of people on Twitter. We're going to get settled. And now my go element. But I will make one argument west Welker dominated in the slot for the patriots. Troy Brown dominance slot for the patriots. Tom brady. Can't throw the outside can only throw to the slot. So someone's gonna catch those footballs AJ as much as I hate to say like we started we set it in the first hour, right? That it was a down season for the patriots down season for Brady and still they win the Super Bowl. It's like this season was the ultimate system. It was the ultimate system argument. Absolutely. It's the system..

"How much do you think a guy like Lincoln can help? Jalen, become a better. It's funny. You talk to coach ROY. When we when he was going through the process of recruiting another quarterback today. But I think I think Germano tremendously. You know, I don't know how much leeway freedom when he was at Alabama control the line of scrimmage, check routes and all that stuff. But as far as timing reads reads. Understanding of the game. I think coach Raul definitely a tremendously and for a guy that's been in those meetings with Lincoln and his name is always coming up after two years as a potential NFL head coach because of the offensive schemes he puts together what is it about his offensive game plan that you sort of like man, that's a really cool concept that I didn't think he the attention to detail. Attention to detail is huge because Riley, you know, he he's he's going to be big know all that stuff is going gonna coach you can coach your hard. And if you know the quarterback's not comfortable with he's gonna cut it. It's a civil that. So whatever whatever we were comfortable with he was gonna go quickly game winning home run or game winning touchdown pass. What would you rather do? I don't mean this in a case. Give you the real answer. I'd have to walk off. Yeah. Moment in baseball. You don't really get a lot. So. And by the way, the fans are very happy to hear you say real quickly. Can you tell us what you're doing with Gatorade here? Yeah. Yeah. No. I've been I've been fortunate enough to be deported. For some years now, and you don't win the blessed enough to win. They did radio high school athlete of the year. Or so now being out here represented them. They're committed to helping athletes be at their best, you know, like myself. So I'm just glad to be here with my family and have them of out here. But we're delighted to have tiling really really pleasure to say. If you want to break the news. That's a hard pass. Kylo? We appreciate. Selfishly is as a guy who does the draft. I hear your name when very early. This comes right now. Whatever you do. Kyla berry, ladies and gentleman Heisman Trophy winner. Got a lot on his plate. So always likes to see see a young man who has so much potential and the world is really at his fingertips. I mean, plus, I just I love the way what helps so much is. I love the way the NFL has has shifted toward. Let's take these guys talented. Let's use it because it used to be so much. You got a talented guy. Like that who didn't play the NFL way of standing in the pocket, you say, okay. You have to conform to the way we're calling plays. Now, they're saying man, we'd love your abilities. We're going to use that to our benefit. And so I mean, it's great to see. So all the numbers that we put with quarterbacks. I mean, you just have to completely re-evaluate that and basically throw it out imagine willingly leading all of those gifts on the table. I just saying, you know, what we're so stubbornly set, and what we want and believe a quarterback should be that we'd be willing to forego all of the things that we saw that made him so special throughout the course of the season. Like, even when. It seemed like it was Tuitonga by Lois Heisman the lose the beginning of the season. We said it wasn't because the fact that wasn't playing a heisman-caliber level, right? Any proof that out of the course of the entire season. So it is great to see from the high school level up like high school was the place where we really saw. I this idea of man, if you've got a guy that can do it with his legs and his arm. Put your best guy back there a quarterback. We'll figure the rest outright make your team great. He's Texas high school football legend, and now got to see him do that in college, and hopefully, the NFL, absolutely. And that was Heisman Trophy winner. Kyla Murray with us onset giving us the straight talk. Brought to you by straight talk wireless. Best phones, best networks, no contracts. Do you think he tipped his hand? At all. No. I don't think he tipped his hand at all. But but I listened dates coming up. I mean just weeks just as we're gonna be talking about before February seventh whether Anthony Davis gets traded. There's a deadline there. So I mean, we're something is or nothing is going to happen by February fifteenth he has to be, you know, have have a baseball made on in training with the as. Or he's training for the draft. Personally. I think he's gonna be training for the drafting of the NFL draft. I I think that's the way that he's going to go. I I don't know. It was the first time I ever met him. I can't sit here and say, oh, I can tell from the ten minutes talking and he loves football more than baseball. Try try try and guess that at all. But I do think he is. He is. I think he's very intrigued about about his rise. And how well he played to winning the Heisman to all of a sudden here. He's says I wrong quarterback. I really think that opened his eyes are saying, okay. Maybe I can't do it. Because before the season. Nobody was thinking maybe he was again. I I don't know. But, but boy, it opened a lot of people's eyes to the possibilities of him in the NFL, and maybe his his wall. I think is incredibly intrigued by that I will say from a personal standpoint here, and obviously the radio audience can't see this. But a lot of questions about his size. And I think all of us when he walked in here said bigger-than-expected heard so much about this kid from people that had seen around college football bigger than I. Both height wise and status in the comparison. We talk about Russell Wilson who he said is a guy that he would like to talk to in this process who has been a two sport athlete. I was surprised by that. So from a football perspective that is one of the big questions that would get answered at that. Combine if he commits to doing it once we get that February fifteen th. Yeah, it was interesting because the short term money is better in the long term money veteran base is much better in baseball. And it's all guaranteed, but you gotta get there. You do you have to get there. And for it's been basic average all three years to get there. So that's three years on that minor league contract and ride around in buses again, you these guys love the sport. They wanna make it up to the majors and then get their hit at the majors. And then get that big guaranteed deal were in football. You're the top end of the first round you're going to be guaranteed. Fifteen twenty maybe up to thirty million dollars depending on where you're drafted. And let's also remember the quarterback position is magnified. Patrick Mahomes next year may sign a deal for two hundred million dollars. What does that mean for the next great quarterback in a couple more years if Tyler could be one of those? So I agree. The baseball money is better because it's all guaranteed but quarterback money is getting close right is getting closer. It's not all guarantee, but a bigger amount of it. That's only getting continue to go upward, right and the money. I mean, if you're doing this in your head and doing the math, again, this is your forte. It is clearly not mine. But if you're a top ten pick you're going to make as you said between fifteen and twenty million guaranteed and in baseball. I think it was four point four or something like that. And the baseball the baseball draft is littered with guys in the first round that never make it and guys in the thirty third round that make it. I mean, I think the short term guarantee is there in football. But also football the first round that, you know. What I'm saying the money is higher there right away. Remember the money could potentially be there in baseball. Like that was the one thing we haven't heard a lot about since the initial report of is for more. For more money. They said major league baseball. You couldn't they could in theory, reduce because his circumstances changed after this year at Oklahoma. So that's the one thing is we get down to this deadline. Does that resurfaced does the money become a factor in this? Yeah. So bottom line star with you junior. Do you think he will be prepping for the draft, and we'll hear his name in Las Vegas in Nashville, or do you think he's gonna go baseball football? I think he's gonna end up playing football. I absolutely think he's gonna end up playing football. And I quite honestly whether he had that actual plan at the beginning of the year. I don't think anybody else did. And I really wonder if we'll find out for him. Once he if it is football find out for him. Did you have that thought process from the beginning of the season or as the season progressed and you playing well? And then all of a sudden all the accolades came on. And all of a sudden you were first round guy did that then change because remember he was in a battle to be the starting quarterback. He was not guaranteed. In fact, I can't remember the name of the other guy. I feel bad about that. But he was the guy that was supposed to be the leading candidate right going into spring ball to be the the guy to replace Baker for the Sooners and column beat them out. What we think about it? Think about his time line in general like all the accolades just getting back on the field. He'd been at Texas. Am before that it was a five star. Ends up transferring because he's not playing and so you go all that time after being legitimately that kid is a Texas high school football legend already, and so, you know, all right beloved in that he's used to that. And then you sit way a lot of college football players do but usually not guys with that level of town and to get back on the field. You wonder if you rediscover oh, man. This is exactly what I missed all of that kind of coming at you all at once for a guy who we know supreme gifts and are going to be very interesting to watch him try and display that going forward, by the way, my good friend argued for and Todd mcshay said he got four point six six for major league baseball potentially twenty to thirty million as a top ten pick. Yeah. And I think he's going to be a top ten pick in a draft. That was very very low on quarterback talent. I think he might just sneak in there, and they say it's never about the money. It's and it's interesting. You had the six pair of teams that need quarterbacks is six pick the giants seven picked Jacksonville. So and, but we always know that if you if there are now three legit. Because Daniel Jones how much did he helped himself in the senior bowl between Dwayne Haskins Daniel Jones and Calum Murray. It's probably going to be at least those three in the first round you start trading up. If you think you're going to miss on them, the bears traded up I'll be not much to get Mitchell Trubisky team started chiefs in the Texans jumped up big in two thousand seventeen to get those quarterbacks. Again, we are presented by progressive insurance. Cell phone guest joins us on the shell Pennzoil performance line. "Network. Once again, here's your host, Eric g n Randy Renner. All right. Let's get right to it. We'll start with Eric with all that sooner news, Mr. g well, you you can't put your phone down for longer than five minutes. If you're trying to follow you football right now, you'd better just keep your cell phone on you, keep your keep the sound on to make sure you get all the alerts keep your tax messages constantly flowing. You're you're gonna miss something. And it was at a breakneck pace this week for. Oh, you obviously the big news for oh. You is that they've replaced Cuyler Murray would Jalen hurts former Alabama quarterback, and I liken this to signing a Bryce Harper signing a Manny Machado or signing a Kevin Durant. If you're Golden State sorry to bring that up. Don't hate me. But it is essentially a huge free agent signing for Lincoln Riley. And it says a lot about where we're hitting in college football because he wasn't the only big free agent signing that happened this week Tate Martell decided to go down to Miami. And he was if I believe what I rate read. And I always believe everything that I read tape Martell was kinda Miami's first. Choice even though Jalen hurts has a relationship with Miami's offensive coordinator. They wanna take Martell. They were able to get that done. If I also believe what I read there really was no competition for Jalen hurts. He was coming to Oklahoma all along and his dad had contacted Oklahoma as far back as November now. Oh, you did not return the calls or or so I am told they did not return the calls. I'll just kind of leave that out there. Let you let you kind of decide on that. But we've entered with the transfer portal and with these big name players being able to escape their programs. Now if they don't like what's going on. It opens up a whole bunch of new recruiting doors for coaches, but what we don't really talk about is the effect that it has on guys. Like Austin kindle who was sick. Most of the week of the Orange Bowl. Not go into practice had the talk with Lincoln Riley about where the future was holding him for. Oh, you and. And now we see Austin kindle in West Virginia. And first of all it was very hypocritical for Lincoln Riley to even remotely think about blocking Austin candle, especially what happened after Baker Mayfield. But what I'm hoping happens? Randy is that we get one hundred percent honesty in recruiting. And I hope that coaches will now go into a player's home and say, it's a meat market. We're bringing you win. We'll give you the scholarship. But if you're not good enough worried. They're going to go outside the program and find somebody or we're going to go inside the program and find somebody and just know that every day you play you're not only playing for your opportunity to get on the field. But you're also playing for that scholarship because we can take that away at anytime there needs to be concrete honesty, and I understand that kids can't necessarily wrap their mind around that mom and dad can tell them, but it hits home a lot more. When it starts coming from a coach pile that on top of the fact that Keiler Murray decided declare to go to the. NFL draft after some week in meetings with the Oakland A's the odds on favourite to get Kyle Murray. Dear Lord, please don't let this happen. One is the Oakland Raiders or the Las Vegas raiders or the Elsa Gunda raiders wherever they're gonna play this year. I hate that idea because Jon Gruden has already ruined that organization, and I know they got Mike Mayock, but the thought of Cuyler Murray having to go be coached by Jon Gruden doesn't give me high hopes for him succeeding in the NFL. I'm much like him better with the Jaguars. We've got an established running game as long as Leonard for net can stay healthy. And you've got really good receivers. Plus, I just think the system fits him a little bit better. And as far as Kyla berry goes the option to go back to baseball is still there if you believe Dion Sanders, or you agree with Dion Sanders, then Keiler needs to pick up the baseball bat and never looked back. Oh, you also hiring two new coaches. You have Brian Odem GMs or Odem who's coming to. Oh, you from Missouri and who had been who'd been coaching at Washington state along with Alex grandch- and Alex Grinch also bringing in a another Michigan state guy in Mike Manny early not might manning. But ROY man manning he's bringing him in. And he's just getting that crew that he had Washington state that was successful. That's not a bad thing. But Randy as you were saying off air. It's kind of weird to think that oh us defense was so bad that who you want to go get as Washington state, right? And the NFL Conor Murray. What about the Arizona Cardinals? You'll remember clip Kingsbury who's the coach out there back in October said, you know, what hey via the number one pick in the NFL draft. I'd take collar Murray. Well, guess what he has the number one big in the NFL wrath. Now how committed are they to Josh Rosen? Then that's all that comes down to. Is how committed they are to Josh Rosen. And I would think you might be able to get a first round or at least two second rounders for a guy that doesn't have as much where terrorist. Josh Rosen is. And then oh, yeah. There's this basketball game today. Oh, you takes on Texas bowl teams are two and three in the big twelve. And I'm still I'm somewhere between shocked and very disappointed. There's a happy medium for what happened and what happened against St. last Saturday. We're oh, you just came out flat had no energy. And after the game was as upset as I've ever seen long Krueger. And if you've ever seen long Krueger upset almost pretty much like long trigger happy. So he wasn't. He wasn't throwing chairs the room. He wasn't cussin' and screaming, and I just table so dot in his DNA. It was more. Hey, we screwed up. We got outplayed. We got our butts kicked will fix it. And these and you can tell Christian do little Christian James who were sitting note was Rashard items in Christian James who are sitting in the post game press conference. They knew lawn mitt business, and it's always the quiet ones that tend to scare you a little bit. As far as I know. Practice was still open this week so long Krueger must still be treating its players. Well, but couple of huge games for Oklahoma coming up in Austin today, and then going to Stillwater on on Wednesday, which I don't know. Maybe if I'm OSU in Texas. I'm a little nervous because nobody can win at home anymore in the big twelve. Yeah. And who knows what kind of Rostro as you might throw out there. Maybe a couple of football players. We'll talk about that and much more from the Oklahoma state side when we come back as game day Saturday rolls on on the Owen. Let's eat better..

"Welcome. We expect from that one game or a good team. Vitamer this year. You know, everyone thinks we suck. And you know. You can't win any games. So we'll see here's what is funny to me. And from my standpoint, I think that New England could be able to win and get to the Super Bowl again. Here's why I trust them because they've been there and done that before I think that when you're an adult you don't worry about well his team wins all Tom com. My team to win mixed foods reason, why that I don't feel like ways because I'm a grownup you see greatness in front of you. It's kind of like how people some look at LeBron James, and that understanding that LeBron James is an MVP every year if you want to win the award if they were giving it to him you'd understand and here's the LeBron James scenario. Lebron James not being on the floor for anybody Cavs. Or Lakers makes those teams less look at where the Lakers are. He's not playing and all of a sudden now, they're they're dropping in the west, of course, with him not being with the Cavaliers at team could very well. Be in the top three the draft that shows you the importance of who LeBron James is. Same thing with Tom Brady Tom Brady may not be the Tom Brady that you saw in his prime. But he's still getting it done at team still winning. And when you have arguably one of the greatest coaches on the sideline and one in the arguably the best quarterback on that same sideline. Yeah. Increase your chances to win. And so, of course, I wanna take New England. I'm gonna keep taking New England till they continue to lose fall shorts. You have. So this is why I never get those that want to be able to be ahead of the story the head of the hot take. So they can say I said that they were gonna lose. I knew that they were gonna lose. I knew that the demise is coming. No, that's not how you look at it. You look at greatness for what it is. And greatness is the New England Patriots from the from the Saint standpoint the saints beating Philadelphia twenty to fourteen you give drew Brees. And the saints has benefit of the doubt. You're not seeing the numbers I'm gonna look at their their scores as of late, of course when the playoff game against the eagles. They'll take on the Rams coming up. On January twentieth. And that should be a very interesting contest on both sides. But to take on the Panthers in the Steelers in the buccaneers three of the last four games that regular season. And they're putting up numbers some pretty good numbers loss against the Panthers. But yet thirty one twenty eight against the Steelers twenty eight fourteen against the buccaneers being the falcons beating the the eagles forty eight to seven being the Bengals fifty one to fourteen they went on a roll, especially after their first loss against the buccaneers in the first game of the season. And you saw the saints start to roll in the offense really came to play. That's the hallmark of the NFL now as much offense as possible. And so when I'm seeing this, I'm like, okay. Look at the teams, and what's the what's the rhythm of it. The it's for all the energy that you see in the NFL the energy is toward the offense. Kansas City, the Rams New England and also the New Orleans Saints let we get to Dallas for second as well. So the Rams win thirty to twenty two. A lot of this game. And that Prescott with a touchdown twenty thirty two. And there are wondering after the game. Like what what happened there? Why did the Cowboys lose or because there is so polarizing still in twenty nineteen whether they're America's team or not and whether and who's in who's the better team and as Jerry Jones at fault and should their head coach be fired all this consternation? Right. When it comes to the Dallas Cowboys what I will tell you is this is that they got to step on the ladder. And that step was to get the playoffs. Get to the playoffs. The same thing just to be in the postseason matters. It's barely being the lottery and for the Cowboys because they're so polarizing it seems like the number one of the top stories of not be top story on ESPN on what the Cowboys do still bottom line is is that they got there. And it took on a Rams team that was strong especially in that second quarter scored seventeen points. Jared Goff is similar to Trubisky, and we can have the barbershop debate on golf versus Trubisky. Who's gonna have the better career? Who knows I'm telling you that golf may not be the same golf. We saw earlier in the season. But the offense is steady enough to be able to guide and the defense, of course, when Donald able enough to be able to guide that team is never gonna be perfect. It's the NFL right because there's a team on the other side. But I noticed something about the the Rams after the bears game after the bears beat them fifteen to six now you take on the. Eagles in now. Again, you're not exactly where you were offense. You took on the cardinals. Because that's the elixir for any problem that you have got a problem with your offense. Play the cardinals and the forty Niners are able to win those ball games going into the postseason to beat the Cowboys. And the it was at home. Home field advantage for the Rams. I kinda thought that because Dallas does their practices in the off season in in California. It'd be sixty forty and the thing is somewhat like the Rams had the advantage there. But the point is is that the Rams were able to to move on here. Now should be interesting to happen. Should happen. The coverage championships because Rams and the saints. I kinda I kinda favored the saints in that spot. And I like the patriots to win. Of course, I have until what Thursday change my mind. I've actually have a Saturday show at Jeff Dickerson as well. So might change by the time we get to Saturday. I don't think so though, I kind of feel strongly about that. And look at the numbers on that. I've not even looked at the numbers of totals on that. I'll do that on value that podcast, but I kind of feel strongly about those two teams, and I will always side with the patriots until they are completely knocked off the idea that now's the time. Well, we don't know. Now. The time. We'll find out when the time is it. I'll tell you one thing. Here's one thing. That's a hot take for you ready for this. Here's the hottest take I'm going to give you of the night, and you can take this to work with you. Here is my heartache. At some point. The patriots won't be winning Super Bowls red hot sports scorching hot, right? At some point. Patriots won't be. You heard it here at some point Tom Brady won't be winning Super Bowl. That's that Matzek. Jeff Dickerson will join us at the bottom of the hour right here on ESPN two thousand ESPN app. So one of the stories kind of a. So it's a beast story to me. But I think it's it's compelling about Cuyler Murray entering his name in the NFL draft. But the Oakland A's can still negotiate with the Heisman Trophy winner. What is life like for Kyla berry? He elected to enter his name in the NFL draft. He announced on Twitter today, the Oklahoma Sooners quarterback in reining Heisman Trophy winner has given himself the option to choose the NFL over major league baseball, the as have a four point six six million dollars signing bonus for Tyler marine, Adam Schefter was talking about this earlier about color Murray. And and kind of the options that that Murray has and then from there trying to figure out where he is in the draft and the NFL draft Tom mcshea with more. I think he's a first round pick. I don't know that he's the first overall pick. I think you know, you look at the giants six with Jaguars seven you've got. Denver sitting at ten possibly maybe they start to move up. But I I think Dwayne Haskins right now would be the first quarterback off the board and then Tyler. But I do think he's a first round pick in a lot of people. Don't looking at him at five nine and change. I think the league is changing the game is changing. We're looking at smaller quarterbacks who can make quick decisions. Get the ball out fun with spread offenses find receivers open right away and get it out. It's different than the old day. Thinks he's a first round pick. Also, today's NFL was he's gonna go first round be mid for Miami, Washington. The giants are up there at six that's where Dwayne Haskins Ohio State may figure but hey with Kyle Murray. What is this going to be? We'll see but moving through the process that there's no baseball involve, I think you certainly in that mid first round discussion, and maybe even a little higher than that. So here's Eric. Here's something that you missed being millennial. There's a lot of things he missed the sports. And there's that's why there's YouTube, but it's nothing like in Davis knows this because Davis Davis is old enough to remember this. What if collar Murray did play both sports we saw this Davis? Yes. We've seen when we saw Dion Sanders. And and here's the thing about the Sanderson in you can make numbers work. However, you want to make it work like Dion was out a great baseball player. He's clearly a much better football player than baseball player. But the idea that he tried just think about the two sports think about Bo Jackson, and and I'll say this publicly because nobody else will around here. Bo Jackson, still lives in the in the city. There's no reason why Bo Jackson can't be more part of our station or the Chicago sports lexicon. When he still lives here. I don't understand that. Because Bo Jackson to watch him in person, and Eric has a SOX fan if you would have seen him in. He has some great years with canc- royals. But the point is like when you saw him a SOX uniform. Sometimes I just kind of chide the socks about just bringing in people just to make the turn styles work and just to just to sell tickets. Bo Jackson was more than attraction the cartoon characters. Come to life wasn't Kevin youkilis coming in here for a Cup of coffee. But I mean, it was special to see him out there because you knew you had someone that will add a had national appeal on commercials. Peop everyone knew. Like the socks just like the little southside hero. Bane knows this is like a national attraction who played best football and baseball. What if collar Murray did both in two thousand nineteen coward? He would there be a bigger star in the country. If he was if he was good at both. Would there be a bigger star? I don't think there could be an if I'm not mistaken, I believe Dion Sanders as he had a teammate that was doing both as well. And Brian Jordan, Brian Jordan at the time. He was the safety for the falcons because you gave me the list earlier of some let me go through this list, if I can pull it out if you pardon the expression, you gave me Brian Jordan, and you gave me Matt Holliday are also played both sports. Right. But but not but but not like Dion trying it and Bo Jackson trying it. I just think that that's I think that's special. What if Dion Sanders talked about it? He says, you know, it's really. Hard to play both quarterback and play baseball. He's a quarterback. So all bets are off bow tie Ryan and the ball do. But he does me just put me on a call them ghetto need to see no plays. Just me sixteen pitches. I guess sixteen guys can handle my business. Brad Jordan the same way as the ferocious safety the quarterbacks. Can't do that. You gotta be handed. You can't jump in midway and say, I'm here I can in covering cover Boca. Just jump jump off the then come and give it to twenty five tabs quarterbacks. You don't have that luxury unit leader, you gotta have chemistry which receivers you got to be there. One hundred percent of the time in season and out. So it's a little tougher for a quarterback to try to do. So, but that'd be awesome. Guile be awesome. Good point, though, Thomas position wise, like that makes sense on how much more quarterback has do the most difficult position to pull it off. If he can be epic. What if collar Murray didn't play quarterback what if he was on the safety? What if he lot receiver Cyrus lever kick returner that I could see that being more of a chance? But I don't know that anyone will ever do it again, just because of how everything is so focused and hyper focused on the sport. You're plain looking at the list of athletes who've played football and baseball Dion Sanders, Brian Jordan, and Bo Jackson, then before that you have to go back to George Halas was the most recent after that someone named ace Parker in the twenties and then back to like the early nineteen hundred so basically sends Dion in bell. No one's done it..

"Are you ready? Because you get round one. Tyler Murray will become the first player draft in the first round of the major league baseball and NFL draft. You can book it on book it or you can already ninth in the baseball draft. He's not going to be able to pass up the lore of football. Bottom line is he can do both. I don't know how well he'll be able to do both. But the lure is there. I think he's gonna wanna do it. I'll book it look. I don't want to assume anything with Kyla berry. Should I will book it for a double dip the chip? He's going to get guaranteed money in football more than baseball. Then go back and get more guaranteed money playing bass I think as much as anything why we book to very weak quarterback class. Like we've talked about. Haskins not a lot of definite. And they're always overdraft. I just can't wait to see them read his height of the combine. All right trade Janas onto Takubo is the best athlete in the world book, it is listed at six eleven two hundred forty two pounds. So again, the premise here because of his size and the things he can do, you know? Zion. Williamson is six eight two eighty he'd have to be in the cat to eighty to eighty. That's big right? But I think I'm ready to go with the Greek freak at this point book. It you can put it. There is no way to know all at great athletes in the world. But saying all that I'm booking. And I think basketball players are the best athletes in the world, and he's the best one. So let's go with it. I was ready to book this with you guys until you said Zion man, there's something about that kid that is a freight train of a human being at eighteen. He looks like LeBron James at thirty four. Yes. I don't I don't know if I could book that now on Williamson waiting in the wings right there. Can't wait to see those to go head to head and some point next year Madison Square Garden move it on dad. Freddy kitchens will leave the Browns to the playoffs in two thousand and nineteen. Are you going to book? Wow. Seven eight one this year, obviously so much better. When kitchens was running the show. I'm not gonna get ahead of myself. I'm not booking this. Take another year after that. I'm not. So I'm not going to book it for next year. Can't do it. I'm not going to book. It we only because the the drafting expertise of John Dorsey will lead to the playoffs. This is a roster that I think we acknowledge we thought coming into this year was a better roster than I think it's only going to move for you want. I was in on the Browns seven win last year. I will kick start the Browns playoff train spec coming up. Now, you look at the rest of that division to it's a definite time where real quick trash answer out a wingo there, thank you John Dorsey drafting class. He's the head coach got to have players got to have players. What are we said about all these coaches gotta have played by the way? Do we know yet do the Browns play the cardinals next year because I need Baker Mayfield v cliff Kingsbury game to all revenge? Why why would you say that Baker never holds a grudge.

"Year to all at one of the first big major sporting events in the year of two thousand and nineteen is going to be the national championship game on January seven between Alabama. And clemson. Yes, it's that match up once again, and I'm very excited for it. What out right now, we'll talk a little college football with Matt Fortuna from the athletic that I know that you were covering the Orange Bowl over the weekend between Alabama and Oklahoma. And throughout the game. Even though savings team was winning throughout your Nick Sabin getting upset and I loved it throwing down his headset on the sideline and break it and then after the game he goes from mad saving too happy say been our he was throwing oranges the fan. So some seen down in south Florida over the weekend. Yeah. He he got asked about that afterward, which which were you better throw it out. Use it a bit of rare for prefer. Well, everything within perspective. Right. I mean, usually hopes mile after the game. And I mean we start talking about what's next. This was a little bit longer. He took the say victory lap. And he posed for pictures with fans. South with bandits throwing oranges. And I think that speaks a lot to respect he had for his opponent in Oklahoma. Particularly that offense in the performance, the Alabama both sides of the ball really was able to put forth on Saturday. I mean a good game. He had great numbers. He prettier. Rushing with the first quarterback in the history of the excitement arid Alabama to rush for one hundred yards against that program. But by the time he was able to do most of that and get on track. It was already twenty eight out there because Alabama had just had such a dominant tones on both sides of the ball. That's really what they've done all season long. I mean, Oklahoma was too good to stay down for too long. They're obviously able to make it somewhat interesting late in the second half. I like everyone else in very very excited for a week from tonight, Alabama, Clemson part three and the title game part for the playoff. I really not sure what to expect out of this. I just hope we get game as world looking forward. And we all know that this is the norm for Alabama to be in this spot. And if you want to compare it to the patriots I've seen Bill ballot. Check as well as he's got an older, he's appreciated getting back to the championship more and more, and maybe sometimes here, and there shows a few signs of being a human and cracking a smile say. But I just came to my mind right now. You know, he's sixty seven he could coach Alabama for however long. He wants and has every right to do. So how much longer do you think he wants to coach? It's funny. How rarely that question? Get back. Right. I mean, you forget how old he is forget how human we all are in some regards. And it's just the human nature purchases ever really kicked in for him. I could easily go to seventy five or so I mean at this rate, he's working as hard that harder than he ever has before he seems to be enjoyed it as much if not more than he has before. And he's got this machine rolling probably better than he ever has had the only difference now is obviously there's a worthy contender annually coming from the state of South Carolina clips in the past four years. So it's just remarkable to see what he has done in twelve years there to have the other six national championship that would tie with their Brian for the most one at Alabama Gabby already when you the one from LSU, but I can't help, but thank you know, on a human level, and this is pure speculation from I haven't covered Joe Paterno. Having basically seem Joe Paterno. Take the bear Bryant approach of I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do if I ever retire. Like like, I need to be moving and shirt up obviously for different reasons, but both men and have dropping dead right after they retired or eternal escapes got fired. I can't help. But think when you're a guy is wild it tightly Vic saving who so invested in his day to day job. A that's such an ironclad work ethic. You gotta wonder what else is out there for you. What would I do with all this free time on my hands? And again, he's earned that right? He's the best of the business. And he seems like he's only getting better. Do you think he has any desire to go back to the NFL? I don't I think maybe if you ask the question five years or so ago, that's a different answer because I'm sure again on a human level. There's part of them to have to wonder. Hey, that's the only thing. I really haven't been all that successful at football is my life. What I like to go right that wrong so to speak, but I think two things one I think he gets a bad rap prefer. NFL time. Maybe he went the teen in seventeen years. Like their coaches getting raises, you know, for for that record these days. I mean, it wasn't the big disaster. I think everyone's make it out to be. You just did not really liked the area, nor did the people down. There seem to care for him anymore. The other thing. He said this is true. And a lot of people will roll their eyes. But but it is worth considering what you have these that are hands. Like, he does you know, if you're the patriots if you're above bo-bottle check you want a Super Bowl every year. Just what you get last pick in the draft the next year Nick saving can win the national title on Monday, and he hasn't number recruiting classes here and he could just go reload. And he could you know, get wherever he wants. He can hire whoever he wants there's no salary cap. So to speak in terms of assembling harasser, the freedom the flexibility and the power you have as head football coach. What who was a successful? Is. He is at a program that basically has limited resources like our Bama does. You know, you're your own boss, really? When you're at the NFL just doesn't work that way. You can't rule over to your players the way you can at the college level and part of that is due to age and money, but the other part of that too. Is you got a new Rafter every people graduate every year and every four years you have entirely new roster turnover. Secret message is going to get stale. So I I think more and more as we see the coaches like save it and some other ones who. May have had NFL interest in years past as they see what happens on a day like today, especially when six or seven NFL guys are gonna fired. I think they realize the grass is the only screener they know how good they haven't talking to Matt Fortuna right now from the athletic covers college football nationally for the athletic going into the game. We heard that to a ton of low was eighty to eighty five percent on that ankle. I thought that was a little bit of gamesmanship in. He was going to be better than that. And the stats back that up just how about the performance of two as it's another chapter that gets written on just a story that has quickly developed into a great college football story. He was phenomenal. I think he was twenty four twenty seven, and yeah, I kind of raise my eyebrows, when I had heard that pre-game prognosis if you will as well, just because I thought if he was anything less than a hundred and they got into a track meet like it's like Oklahoma that could make things very interesting, but he certainly looked apart. When he was on the field all night. I know they manage his workload to a certain degree again. Jalen hurts them action in there and to a once limping after the game. I mean, I do think you know, he's still has some cobblers. Shake off so to speak, and he's going to need this extra full week of rest going into Monday's game. Because that Clemson defense is a different piece, and I think anything Alabama has faced so far this season. But but for him to have the performance, he did, you know twenty again twenty four twenty seven and he looked like target practice out there. He was firing on all cylinders. You made plays all over the field. And certainly, you know as soon as Alabama looks like they're gonna run this team off the field of the first quarter. When they go twenty one nothing you hear the SEC coming from the crowd and Cardi here, the bam. You're mentioned Randy on you for voting color Murray as hypertrophy winter over to vile, and I can't have any regrets in that guard. I mean, they're always one and one being in my mind or two great players and nothing happened Saturday night, really changes my mind in that respect, but to assertively looked every bit like a worthy contender and look like a guy who was pretty darn close to full health. If that was my problem with the Heisman and how wide of a margin Cuyler Murray wanted. Because for most of the time was saying to a to a two and I did not play well and the SEC title game. And then hurts comes off the bench and wins it and takes out Georgia. But I was just surprised how wide of a margin. Kyla Mary wanted. You know at the end when you looked at total points. It was twenty one hundred eighteen hundred twenty close the the problem, and you know, so the first world problems talking about here. Both guys were so good all year. You've always do if it got to that point that the winter is going to be decided by basically at the other guy screwed up. I and to. Yeah. I don't follow them for this trying to play through a high ankle sprain. Just did not play well against Georgia. And that was his undoing at the same time. The Kyla berry was his only loss and only real mediocre performance of the season against Texas. I'm not championship Saturday. And I think that ultimately was the difference. Both guys. Phenomenal numbers had phenomenal stats. I think in Tyler's case throughout the season. The biggest fight against him was well Baker Mayfield do the same thing. And that offense last year. Well, Tyler ended up surpassing Baker from a statistical standpoint this season push again, speaks of what incredible athlete he has both arms and legs. And I will say this in any other year waiting. Atkins might have been the guy to be because I think he was phenomenal as well. He was just a distant third in this particular year to those guys what did you think about the committee in the fourteenth? I thought these were going to be the four teams now with that being said I thought that Georgia was one of the four best teams in college football. But when they had two losses I knew they weren't getting in after the weekend that we just saw where do you stand on this as you get into the debate about the job of the committee? Yeah. I mean, I understand a lot of people have questions particularly really to Georgia finishing above a one loss. Ohio State team that had won the big ten, and that's where you started to hear a lot of prostration publicly come out from big ten athletic directors and Commissioner Jim Delany. But but I did not think the final four teams specifically were all that. Controversial. I thought a lot of that was kinda manufacturer debate. I mean, Georgia play Greg against Alabama. I mean, they screwed up. I mean, whatever real estate Nick Sabin herbs. Owns in Kirby smarts, head reared its ugly head down the stretch there..
