"Aren't we talked about Those who are somewhat resistant to getting the covid nineteen vaccine. You know it was interesting. I was just kind of scanning the news. Channels yesterday and their senator mitch mcconnell. And he's talking about some of the reluctance among certain groups of folks who say oh hell no. I'm not getting the covid. Nineteen vaccine because they don't trust it for well a multitude of variety of reasons. Everything from well. It was rushed through not the case. You've got to remember. It's not their first rodeo. When it comes to developing vaccines and i thought it was kind of interesting Frank luntz. I thought summed it up really really well during one of the weekend shows when he said for those who believe that this vaccine the development The clinical trial process. All the way through distribution has been rushed. That isn't the case. The own the red tape that was cut was of the bureaucratic kind. Which i think goes to the very heart of the conversation but unfortunately you have many groups out there saying and you might be among them again far. Be it for me To have any any say whatsoever on your a medical preferences. I for one all in on the covid. Nineteen vaccine forward to getting my second shot of that pfizer. Biontech vaccine week from friday. But yet mitch mcconnell talking about the fact that one of the groups that was so opposed to getting the vaccine by and large according to all of the polling. That's out there. And again we take polling with a grain of salt right Where republican males and mitch. Mcconnell said oh republican males of a certain age. I need to flesh that out the in its entirety mitch. Mcconnell said i am a republican male of a certain age and i am getting the vaccine. So how 'bout.

Why Athletes Want Trademarks for Everything

"Sir ryan. I'm super curious. How did you land on trademarks as something to write about in the first place. Well i was actually working with as an editor on a story. Earlier this spring about the buffer brothers ryan hawkins smith is an editor and writer for espn dot com and he reported on the rise of athletes seeking trademarks which saw an enormous uptick in two thousand. Twenty michael bruce buffer Most people know the michael for let's get ready to rumble. Yes we work on this story. We discovered some numbers that we thought could not be right and the numbers were that trademark alone. That one sentence that michael says in the ring may have netted the buffer brothers north of one hundred million. Maybe three four hundred million dollars over the years but yeah it was bonkers but it checks out that one phrase it's a business unto itself like one of my favorite details. We were working on this. There's a website for michael buffer and. Let's get ready to rumble where you can go and rat out people you have seen or heard using that phrase get ready to rumble and in return for being a horrible internet informant. They will mail us some buffer merge and then they will pursue legal action so i was just thinking as i read all of this. I got a dive into this world. I need to know more. So i want to be very clear about this. Then what's the motive for filing a trademark ryan. If you're an athlete so a lot of trademarks can be quite lucrative. I bet we ended up talking quite a bit about the ones that make a lot of money. The vast majority though are athletes protecting themselves protecting their trademark. Just in case because the reality is when you think about hail murray as big play as that was and as much as it it resonated in the sports world like how much money. How many t shirts saying hail marie are. They actually going to sell like if they're lucky. What fifty thousand dollars. It costs a couple thousand dollars to to get an attorney and to get a trademark so it's actually a really bad business plan most of the time but it makes sense that you would go and protect your athlete like the last thing i think a manager or a business advisor wants is to have to come to kyla murray after murray says hey why am i seeing coffee mugs outside the stadium that have my raise and picture on them so it's mostly about protection. This is also an industry that you say has been not only connected to sports and athletes for decades and decades. It's also changed in the past decade or so. How did that come to be. There's two answers. The short basic answer is that good athletes have management people around them at bigger teams than ever think about this stuff all of the time but i go down a rabbit hole about the more meta answer which is applications went from two hundred sixty nine thousand in the united states in two thousand eight to twice that in twenty twenty Oh a small number actually athletes. So this is a society thing. And so the wormhole that i go down is just how much humans are more cognizant of the idea of celebrity and individual branding than ever before and you could point to social media for some of that. You can point to the kardashians. Maybe even donald trump as examples of successful personal branding

"Was younger. People don't have kids are GonNA hold you back. Don't tell me what to do. Go do it doesn't show up with triplets. It'd be N. B. Like allows. I did what I feel the way and I'll do it all tired of sale. I don't but I made my point but I'm doing this. It's helped me so much in in in being able to dig deeper into characters and motions in different feelings because a lot of things I like. People can't really understand in two. You have a kid and Or in you race someone or are you been that type of figure you WANNA surly have to have kids you know. I just felt like it just made me a better everything you know. So there's a lot coming up in twenty twenty K. P. M saying it in support it needed and all that stuff before we let you go really really quick rapid fire questions. Oh goodness Just random question. Oh some we'll be black L. Some won't be just like okay. I'm I'm nervous W. B. Nervous random things. I'm nervous about myself. No not perfect okay. So you're now a mom. Yes what is your go-to black. Mama phrase is going to be a problem. You know listening because it's going to be a problem for everybody. It's the first thing I'll mother and was going to be a problem. What you do your price could never along okay. L. PBC or pin. May I think you know I mean those? Are My girls? It would not pay a little attitude. She needed that. Okay opinions all nice and stuff all the time we need. She need her. Sasha fears. Everybody needs to so penny flip out. She needs I agree Line is your turn. What dance is carrying you down the line soul train line either? The Roger Raby. Oh I'm telling how I don't look back out but I know some stuff related. No but that's not because it's the to me soul train. Line is like a throwback you know situation so automatically the dances. I'm doing I'm going down with all that all play the on that the why. I'm doing all kinds of all she said Iraq's shoes coming on. It's okay last question. How do you feel when people call you a legend? It's weird weird how I think because I I just I was to me. I was a kid you know. Got Blessed enough to have a mom who loved what she did in wanted me to try it and I was fortunate enough to book roles and have good energy and and want to do this and now I have you know they always say whatever I film whatever I do is forever. It's forever and that's why I'm kind of picky about things that I take on. Because I'm like wait. They McKee is getting worse. This guy right like everybody. This is what they remember. Sweet I get it. It's weird I think of when I think of legends. I think of you know like Sydney Boise. A I think you know. Even the people who I watched growing up like Smith Sinoe Halle Berry. You know like I like soul to be even in a somewhat of a category. It's nice in its dope to see that people recognize you know hard work and it just makes you want to just keep keep going in. His school is Weird Definitely hard working a little bit. I'll yeah you have definitely pushed them. Legendary art out into the world. I would like to thank you for that on behalf of the entire CO Q. And thanks for hanging out with me. Give people they roses. Forget about people into something. Having to yeah the tank would have recognized that. I think it's amazing. What you guys are doing here and I feel so blessed to even be involved so I appreciate. Thanks so much thank you..

"Have have your kids seeing the yes. They like the family. Oh I remember the first time I played it for them. I wanted them to see. I want to see if they recognize my voice and they often. I've always been interested in like doing voiceover work in point acting. I hear he's really really really hard. Would you say that? It's more difficult than acting acting or just like with a plus for me is. I don't have to get your wrists. I can just be looking at your hair wrapped in your house. I mean not that bad either. I would know I've been forced my man be like you know. Leave the house like this. What's happening please please put something? You gotta Hat did But I go when I can just chill. You know I can just relax and the only thing for me for voice over is. I'm a very loud person and I have not perfected breathing for my diaphragm. So I tend to lose my voice a lot especially when I know I have to do voice over so I'm trying to get better. Mother start practicing different things. That's that's one of the things that I love to do with. Its figure out what I need to work on. And that's one of the things I do. Every KID ACTORS DREAM YOUNG ACTORS RAME. Hell even like actor. Periods dream is to get on a Disney channel. Show yeah how did that opportunity come to you? I auditioned. I actually auditioned for the voice of the proud family and it was crazy because they already had her drawn up and the crazy thing is at that age. I think I was thirteen. Thirteen or fourteen. I didn't like my voice turn. I think I had gotten sick. And then my voice was raspy and it stayed raspy and for my Gosh and the kids at school were like like talking about bullying. I wasn't bullied. I'd making fun of my voice and calm your boy because I went through puberty Diffa and and I think I was just always I always. I think everybody who hears their voice back is like is that me. Why don't you tell me I sound like or don't let me be with family and loud like yellen something if somebody's record it on my own my goodness just give to be more refined but it never happens is always yeah. I'm just year because I feel like you sound like my cousin country accident but a little bit. Sometimes we ask that we are in I in throughout the process I was like they're not gonNA like my voice there. I'm I'M GONNA. And then they replaced one of the characters like in the middle of a shooting outside she replace. They're gonNA a mail. I don't know I'm just half oncologist killer. Just have fun and I just when I decided to not stress over it because I was getting to that age where you start thinking too much. I was that age. The crazy thing is is i. I went through those very briefly. Yeah no it wasn't like a long period of time where I was just not feeling myself. I went through that later on like after I had kids like wait. What is this feeling? I didn't go through this so it's coming now. Insecurity how did use NABRETTA those moments like I find the good in everything I try to You have to you have to fight off negative feelings because we all have eighty two other people have them and I tell people all the time like stab. Don't beat up yourself too much because the world is constantly beaten on you know. Don't I mean it recognize what you need to work on but don't beat yourself up you know and being kind to yourself is hard as you need to bottle that sell it girl out tests saying no and I'll piss myself off like are you acting like this. I would literally will go in a mirror and be like a call myself out my name. It'd be like you need to get together. Yeah you need together and then I'll be like all right trip but then I think now it's it's important to me because I know my kids are watching me. I'm raising to think that's why the proud family resonated with so many different like age because it wasn't just for like Miami's I'm here at the table. Watch my favorite character was the uncle who was sending the do from a look. The word up. The campus was singer. Educator am surprised like I couldn't just go google it and see years. I did not know that we have so many people on Air Dope. It was black. It was such was hilarious. It was so and I was like August and just gail into the amazing age at that age. Trying to be all respectful. I know Canadians go run around. You know say whatever. Were you aware that most of like when you're making the show and I know that it's hard to see something when you're in it but like while you were making the show where you were like. Wow this is show full of like black actors. This is a show about a black family. That's like really really big. I thought it was dealt because it was something I could relate to. I don't think I looked too far into it. I was like Oh this. School is talking about things that people don't talk about and I was learning about different things while shooting it. Yeah and there's a lot of things that they try to teach you in school. Would you let us school? Let me just memorize afford says a half that you don't take in and then there's things that you learn from your family that you like. Oh my family's very awful like doing this but when something you love and is being brought to you then it's easier to take in so just I watching it now. I'm like I'm so glad there's something like this for my babies to watch and I'm so glad it is going to last show have when I found online. That pretty much said that like beyonce as life has turned into the crowd as I was like. Oh my CEOS That blew my mind. I was like well knew. It's amazing to see that like I am not even realizing at the time like being in the little video and in the in the booth with salons destiny's child is I q at the time I only seeing real nice or so sweet and nice ladies like I'm thinking fast forward and says that you know all of them have in their own way though. Yeah so I thought like right. Now there's so many shows being rebooted rebooting booting You got any any TV about the proud family can share as a man. I don't think I'm supposed to talk about it but I think by the time. This is Aaron. I think everybody already know. Okay so we are. We are doing the proud family reboot. Yes and they're bringing back. They're bringing back all the same people. The same voices everybody emotional and bringing it back. I'm excited for it. I'm so excited for it and Bruce made the Ralph our choir. They have been amazing. Is on this from the beginning going. We're bringing it back. Yeah yeah the about what. They're the ones they started everything you know. And and they basically with the I haven't shot a guerilla style. They were making it happen. Medium up under Disney completely in now like Disney's look a hockey people talking about this. We've you see black people make things. No Black folks won't just listen to US sometimes. Give us some creative. Oh yes I'm excited. I'm excited. I'm have a lot at sea. I'm John Breathing. Committed sure gets you know leading and we'll make it happen so excited okay before we go into our final segment. I must know what is next for College Pratt. What are you working on? When do we get to see you? What is I'm just trying to continue to do what I love. You know. Keep following me on all social media and I'll keep you updated. I'm venturing into the behind the scenes for real now I've been wanting to for years but directing producing writing I WANNA get into directing directing for me. I'm I've always lived. Directors like Dane. They gotta deal with the actors and the produce. It does sound rule stress soul ear. 'til maybe one day but Yeah I went through. My kids are a little bit older now. "Hey your cell. Pretty thank you appreciate An off I feel like you are kind of a Unicorn to me because I rarely meet somebody like from from. La La is that where the actor. Gotcha like was it being in La and around eleven. Like how did you get into the FIA thinks so? I grew up watching my mom. Act My mom did a lot of theater when I was growing up and so when the opportunity came for me to get representation it was like of course I want to be like my mommy and ever since I started just in love with it and there's nothing else I'd rather just off to the races and just kept going and I think I I had an amazing childhood because I had a mom who saw that I loved it and then she would see whenever I was exhausted or tired and didn't want to and gave me the option so I was never forced where they ever worried about their little bitty baby going into such a complicated cutthroat profession. I mean I think so but they never shouldee my mom my family's crazy so I think it was like nobody's GonNa mess with my baby. How I feel you know like No matter what the world is is crazy so really no matter what you into you have to be strong and prepared for it so Just at a young age me knowing that acting was a hobby and I was very fortunate to do something that I love to do. But just like everybody else was doing after school. Steph is going so you know that was my thing. What does it feel like auditioning for a part when you are so young like did you have like a good understanding of like you know you're going to go into this thing and you might not get it may might say you're not enough of this for that? What was that like? I said it wasn't that bad. I think because my life was still so normal was still in regular school especially at that age To me the fun part was the auditions and I wasn't really thinking or are they going to like me. It was Kinda like I like myself and I think this is fun and let me see if they like me for this and then I had other little actress friends that I like. Oh maybe she'll get it and I think it just helped me growing up because now I look forward to seeing a lot of actresses work and Sometimes people will be liable. You didn't get that part. Are You mad? I'm like no it wasn't it wasn't it I. I've always looked at things like it wasn't meant for me. It was meant for them. Everybody's on their own journey. And even if I go through times where I haven't been working it's kind of like okay. Things are going to having supposed opposed to. I feel like I have spent a lot of time and a lot of therapy to learn these lessons but no I feel like in this industry. You have to think like that will go crazy. You cannot hate every beautiful woman that walks past you that actually and this debt girl that enjoys would you like to do? Of course I prefer that much nicer women to book things. If I see someone who who I know is genuinely dope person book something like Yeah No you get excited to other people other dope black girls around like that response says more about like the opportunities that are available for black women like you know. Oh there's only one person Leeann movie like are you upset because some people don't know like win there's GonNa be another enrolled but I also think people will keep saying that to try to pin us against each other. I feel like I have to feel challenged by this person when this not at all and they do that to lake up publicity and stuff and I'm weird because I see people energy is off doing what you're doing all you read in okay like just like loosening up like chill bookie I love you. Get your money year. I'll get my money. The air we stray and then every everybody in the an exam. Well you've been working in a minute resume so you gotTa Barney's great adventure in ninety. Also eight Dr doolittle with somebody named Eddie. Murphy's Amazing Yeah and you've had the chance to do a lot of fun movies like I am obsessed with animals. Personally Dr Dolittle Guy so certain age where I was like. Look here. Don't put me. I'm not playing no more animals. I'm over this I'm done and then then did hotel for never say never okay. Now people used to always tell me they would say well they say don't work with animals or children and I'm like those are the nicest people would this crazy. Listen listen so back to this incredibly long resume. I feel like this movie in particular is having a moment right now to get onto. Somebody's talking about love. It's a classic man U. S. A. In just in embedded in black American history which is worrying because if it was amazing because I didn't think about it like that I didn't I don't to this day I still have people come to me and they're like Oh my God. I grew up watching this and I'm like I had no idea that I was making any type of impact because I was just a kid who got to do something. Amazing to me Al. All get to go to work today. It's GONNA work hair makeup. Okay what's maligns? I'm not thinking about shooting one on one. Every week I was not people are going to watch this and making his own. People are watching me on. It wasn't even I was like oh I gotta go to work we Table read on Monday. We shoot on Thursday Friday off cool. I'M GONNA go through this with my friends. I'M GONNA go do this with my family. I go back to work on Monday. Like it was a job. It was like a fun job that I got to do so to realize that. There's so many people who watch these things that I was blessed enough to be a part of is though Did you ever get star struck with any of your co stars like where you of an age should be like? Wow this is a really really big star. No the first time I felt myself get star Struck. I went to go see a tyler. Perry play and I was in the hallway in Sydney. Portia will and I never knew that I could get star struck but I think that triggered something because now I get more starstruck see people. Oh don't tell me. Like movies does sage do but I mean these. Are People doing the same thing? I do have to look at them. Like I'm just I just enjoy their work and if I find the right moment if I don't feel crazy for saying what I'm about to say I'll let them know I is. I attend to always do it even when I know I shouldn't so in like see the only time I asked him. Do you get bothered people coming up to you and I let people know when eating. That's the only time you breathe in on food like that. Thank you for the love. But can we talk about this? I mean I'm still very pleasant and then now I've made a rule when I'm with my kids. I don't I you know I speak but I don't I try not to do pictures and stuff like that just because I want my babies to know that they're the most important thing off them have learning how to set boundaries is really really hard as in because for a long time. I was like they love my work and and I want to be nice. And what if they never see me again and all and I gosh like they you know there's so plays in but I had to realize like these. The people doesn't go miss me when you know what I'm saying these kids. I want them to remember our memories of US spending time together. Not Mommy constantly imported different right. So it's a struggle to people who enjoy my work. I I love anybody who shows me so I wanNA give the you know so. It's hard but you gotta sit boundaries absolutely and I feel like speaking of your work. That people We cannot have this conversation with that talking about the practice. Destiny's child saying that why I cannot believe video. We'll show you know back in the day..

"Just like the episodes. I have to begin by practices have appeared that I want to be in that kind of parent that yells at you about how you don't know nothing about their favorite songs and movies etc etc. So I know you know about Kyla Pratt but I know about calibration calibration. Nothing new now. Kyla Pratt has been working for a long period logically time so basically why. Bengals at the Combine in Indianapolis, taking a closer look at Joe Burrow

"With us here from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis where we will be all week so much going on. I'm waiting next with Adam. Schefter Louis Riddick Todd mcshay and Mike Tannenbaum just to catch you up right now. Here's what's happening today in Indianapolis. It will be a very busy week. At Five o'clock eastern though owners are expected to meet players to talk about the new CBA which could expand the playoffs and move to a seventeen game regular season. We've got forty seven. Nfl head coaches and GMT. We'll be talking today. You're also hear from SEC. Standouts Joe Borough and to a ton of Aloha who also addressed the media earlier today. Jonesboro put on an absolute show as you know on route to a national championship for Lsu setting an FBI. Single season record with sixty touchdown passes and Ditto. While completing a whopping seventy six percents of his passes and not only that but bro won the heisman trophy in dominant fashion receiving a record ninety point seven percent of the first place votes here. Our previous comments from Joe Borough on February seventeenth during a reception. For the Davey. O'brien award. He had this to say I do have leveraged the Bengals have their process and I have my process. We haven't even gotten to the combine yet. There's a lot of things that happened. Leading up to the draft. A lot of information gathered bras. Mother Robin shot down the idea. Her son does not want to play for the bengals. Saying we have no idea where that came from. It's a story out there that has created that doesn't have any substance at least from our perspective here Hasbro earlier today here at the combine. Of course I want to be the first pick. That's that's every kid's dream you know I've worked really really hard for this opportunity and I'm blessed to be in this position. I'm a ball player. Whoever picks me on my go show up? How play whoever for forever dressing? You know. I'm just not going to be presumptuous. About what they WANNA DO I. It's the draft. You guys have been covered it for a long time and you never know what's going to happen so we played a month longer than everyone else and everyone else's been training a month longer than us you know. I wanted to put. I don't I didn't think I'd be able to put my best foot forward here at the combine so I wanted to wait till pro day had another whole month of training and just be the best that I could be when everyone when. Everyone's eyes are on me. You know coming in. If you're the number one pick the teen is picking number one. Is there for a reason? So you're going to have to come in. There's going to be ups and downs and you've got to stay steady through the process. Our research tells us about Joe. Borough is his own man. He's not going to be talked into saying things for other people's benefits so if that's what he said. That's that's fantastic. I'm looking forward to getting to know him getting to meet him through. The process haven't been able to sit down with them yet. But we've got that on the horizon. We'll talk more about Joe. Boroughs plans to hold off throwing here at the combine. But might I'll start with you in terms of do you want? Do you not want to play for the being. You have any issues at all with where we landed at least at this point. No I mean as I said last week Joe Borough at the end he does not have leverage. The bengals have the first pick in the draft. If they want to draft. Joe Joe Borough. That's where he's GonNa go now with that. Said I think it's incumbent upon sack Taylor in the Bengal organization to create the Right Environment. Where he could come in and they could build something sustainable and truly transformative so. I think where we wended. Wendy is appropriate last week. He could've handled that better but to Joe Boroughs credit. I think they tweak things I think they're in a good spot now. He's been well-coached past week. Tower doesn't it. Yeah and Adema to your Do All your contacts. It appears that borough likely young he's projected pick. I still think that's where the bengals ultimately go. And they're sitting there and that's about this a team that needs somebody to revitalize that franchise and they are expected to look to trade Andy Dalton at some point this off season and so when you're sitting there in division with Lamar Jackson there in Baltimore think that they know that they have to get somebody in there. That's going to put some points on the Board Baker Mayfield Cleveland and this is going to be the pick for the Cincinnati bengals. Even Joe was considering trying to exercise some kind of leverage really the only leverage you have is withhold your services and not playing not report even if he was thinking along those lines. Let's say he's doing a deep dive trying to figure out exactly. Just what the Cincinnati offer as far as developing me as a quarterback. Could you blame him? Could you really blame him for wanting to dig? Deep on exactly what? What does the future going to look like during over the course of my rookie contract with this football team would exactly? What exactly is Mike Brown's commitment to go ahead and building out this roster around me because we all know a lot of what's going to happen to him has nothing to do with him and has everything to do with everything that's going to be around him. Just look at the past three or four drafts. And how certain players have benefited from going to certain to certain teams? Just look at l a look at the difference between jar rookie year in his second year. Sean mcvay came in. It flipped his rookie year. People were saying Jared Goff to Canada. All of a sudden his second year is like. Oh wait a minute. Maybe he's not so bad you couldn't blame him. If that was a thought Lewis to that point I also think an opportunity. If you're Zach Taylor to say hey what's happened in the past. It's irrelevant we're going to myself with you and we're going to build something great and we can't worry about what's happened before we have a lot of work to do. But if I'm the bengals if I have a hey coach Taylor. That's worked with quarterbacks. Like you mentioned Jared Goff Joe Boroughs Billy and character. That's a great opportunity for the bengals. Sino three things one. Is that if something were to go on with. The bengals is not going to happen in public and this has been addressed in the past week if it's going to happen behind the scenes so whatever we hear from this point on. Don't even don't even look at it. Don't think about it because it has nothing to do with with what is going on behind the scenes. The second thing is this guy's different cab he beats. It goes a Beatles drummer. He doesn't care what anyone else has done. In the past what everyone else is GonNa do in the future? He's going to do what's best for Joe Borough but the third thing I know about him is he's a football guy he's his. His brothers played linebacker at safety at Nebraska. His Dad's a almost four decades coach in football. He's a football guy at its core. He's from Ohio. Obviously I think when it's all said and done he winds up going in Cincinnati if he's number one overall pick but again. If it's GonNa Happen it's GonNa Happen. Not In the media. It's GonNa happen behind the scenes again. Joe Bro not expected to throw on Thursday. He said he just wasn't ready yet. Not a huge deal. Sam Darnold Kyla Murray. The last two years have opted not to throw here at the combine as well. What did make headlines on Sunday? Oddly enough pros hand measurements the measurable quarterbacks took place on Sunday on the smaller side. Love listen here's what he said after it was suggested his aunt size was small considering retirement after. I was informed that we slipping out of my tiny hands. Please keep me in your thoughts while he's got good company because here's what Super Bowl fifty four. Mvp Patrick Mahomes had to say who had just slightly larger hands than did borough my small Andrew doing great so far all right he should say believe in yet. Here's borough earlier today addressing his hands. Yeah I mean these measurements you can. You can take so much from them if it's a glaring issue on film with turnovers. Yeah it's probably an issue but I didn't have a lot of fumbles or anything like that so I just tried to make a little joke out of it I think it's a non factor I don't get paid to talk about. Measurements and analyze. The measurements like played to play football. So that's what I'm GONNA do. I look we're not gonNA make too much of this question. Well yet about what? They actually do what they're actually measuring here so worry not. We've got a ruler. We've got Louis at. I mean really what you're really trying to do is just trying to measure the expense of someone and they put it down on the ground and you actually hear about guys actually doing hand exercises to stretch their hand as wide as possible although when you're grabbing a football you're actually going to measure from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the Pinky here and this is hard because this is a hard rule and you can't really get good accurate measuring you look tired type by just under nine right. Look I'll give you a non center's Oh that's attention and would have actually done something with my. I mean what's interesting when you watch the tape of Joe Borough? There are situations where people come from behind strip him when he's trying to move up in the pocket and run. I mean that's going to happen if you have nine if you have ten inches so I mean it's not a glaring obvious problem as far as him on the football field and that's why I think it's really. It's just going to be something that will hopefully wind up forgetting about certain the biggest thing is and you know this with all of these drills you know as well. Mike you go back to the tape and you're trying to find something after the fact that says okay. Now I'm going to look specifically at these things so you're gonNA look cold weather rain and then ball security and Joe Boroughs as good as any college quarterback you're ever going to see in the pocket in terms of two hands on the ball and protecting the ball. I saw him in two thousand eighteen the last weekend. In September against Ole Miss. You can go back and watch the tape. My suit was soaking wet when I did the open of that game. It was pouring rain driving rain in anyone who says it doesn't rain in Baton Rouge on a Saturday night is lying to you. Because it poured and he completed seventy two percent of his throws with three touchdowns and zero interceptions in that game. So you go back to the tape and you try to look at these things and what the tape tells you is. He's just fine. You know I had a theory here. I have an interesting experience with hand size so I was forced out in two thousand eight. We were we trade for Brett Farve and just as a fan of sport. I can't wait to go out to the first practice and watch Brett farve throw. There's nothing physically imposing about breath and he goes out there and he's throwing Abe I've ever seen and I ask them like what is the value. Where's this philosophy comes from it? He said you know what Mike I have long fingers and I actually couple of football the way a lot of people throw a softball. I could actually be over the top and that's where I get all my philosophy from just watching my practice. It was unbelievable to watch though. I know as Lewis show. There's a tradition of how we measure hands but finger. Length is actually an underrated aspect of playing quarterback so far so far small hands but long fingers and you know what my pinky and all the time strong throwing football pictures of the five. It's easily the least important finger in the hand and I can't remember it ever being a big factor. It's all there in the grip. The pinky to me doesn't matter. It's archaic. How we're measuring the quarterback's hand span now with that. Said there's thirty four quarterbacks in the last fourteen years who have been drafted that have had hands of nine inches and smaller and really only two of them had any sort of Sustained Success Ryan. Tannehill is one of them and Jared. Goff is the other. That's it so there are thirty two out of thirty four. Who have failed. But are we going to say that he's going to the Joe Boroughs? Not GonNa have success because his hands tells me that the reason for their failure wasn't because they were nine inches weight.

"The one hundred block out podcast wagon to talk to amazing people doing awesome things and i'm happy to have kyla sewing what i've been dying to talk to bush's always busy man like always busy quite busy yeah so kyla give us a bit of background for yourself i mean there's so little disabled so much to say at the same time makeup artist i'm a model and just do a bunch of other stuff here there i'm just a big creative person so i like to just do whatever i can do to create cool oh shit yeah okay so here's the thing no make up well i'm gonna break each so let's we'd make up how us stuff we how the start well when i was very young like really wanted to be a makeup artists and and then i kind of put that on the back burner ended up wanting to be event planner for a while and that's what i really wanted to do but then i was just working a crappy kitchen jobs just slave in my life away and i got to a point that i was like i need to do something like i had dropped outta out of high school i don't even have my grade ten i only have two credits so i was like i need to do something so i just applied to a school in vancouver and saw what was going to happened and i was nineteen so i was able to apply as an adult student so you don't actually need your high school or your GD once you're over nineteen at least for the school specifically so oh i lucked out got a college education with no high school so that was great and what did he decided to go to school in vancouver special mika plan well when i decided to become a makeup artist i was like i'm not going to go like no offence to hair design center like they put oh great artists and stuff but i was like i wanna do crazy stuff like i wanna do prosthetics i want to do a little bit more of that kind of thing and i decided i just just wanted to go to the best makeup school in canada so i googled number one best makeup school in canada and i went to the one that popped up google gold blend mcdonald's center okay okay yeah and i i really loved it there i had some really incredible teachers and a really supportive like class i really lucked out we had a really great lake group of girls and one guy so it was really cool ooh halloween live will the course with a year and i was there for about a year and a half just move and everything how do you do fine i love vancouver the ocean i mean that's why i love it here too there's a little bit more to do their for beach wise because it's easier to get to the beaches because you can kind of transit to them here you can only really transit to chocolate lake which is fine but the wait is this one wish leaking it's it's it's past the rotary by herring cove yeah thing it's just like a little tiny little leg i'm pretty sure like there's some cars in the bottom of it i'm pretty sure they actually have to put chemicals then i'm not sure how this is this is just a rumor that i heard that they actually like put chemicals in chocolate lake so that people can swim there because there's so much stuff in the bottom uh-huh throw crap in there why would anyone put your bottom of the league i don't know okay so yeah so vancouver was great did you do any work look will will you out there i didn't work there i actually went back to vancouver after i was working here i was working in the film industry i came back and then they took away our phone tax credit before the talks free so you're finishing camila came into wor yeah i dove right in my first the first thing i ever worked on like on my own kind of in film was i had to pick up day on noon gun oh you and then through that i got a few daily days on lizzie bordon and got my first assist in job on a feature film and since then i've just been going from there thank you lindsey thorne who is the one who made the calls tells you got me those first few jobs because she's like super amazing and talented and i wouldn't have my career without though okay being we know the unions were great or the so there's it you do have to be in the union to work on a union production and the union guy got it yeah and like they union makeup artists if there's we only have a small amount so if there's not enough people on the members list you're able to hire outside and that's what i think happened on lizzie was lizzie was a union mm production but i was able to come in as daily because there's no other union members available so what does the daily mean daily means that you just come in for the day a like they just need an extra set of hands usually on big background as you're usually doing like a lot of tattoos cover on background extras lizzie bordon was a lot of facial hair and putting because it was a period piece so just making people look like they are from the period that gotta got it got it and then how long between when you came from vancouver during those things that you get on yet see your member by yahtzee no yes so i got sees the what does he mean international alliance of theatrical stage employees is what i asked you stands for and named i noted to lately we different numbers or something yes oh eight for nine which is that's the film film technicians union and then there's the camera union and i forget what the number is but so there there's a and that's just for camera and then there's the film technicians so that would be like sound grips electrics transport craft uh makeup i'm definitely forgetting some but there's a big list of people and be part of the union what are some of the advantages and disadvantages or being in a union i haven't experienced any disadvantages i i'm really we're really really lucky i think in nova scotia because we have such a small industry that my department is amazing i love every makeup artist in the department hartman and i'm happy to work with any of them so that's really great i don't know if in bigger cities that i'm sure it's different when the advantages ended up being in the union though is basically you have someone to have your back if production isn't treating you properly so there's like you have your base rate of pay so you're never going to be paid less than what that is there who provide us with overtime make sure like if we have meal penalties donald to us like if we don't get fed when we're supposed to you get paid for it that if anything happens like onset i'm like it's just something there to kind of to be able to talk to and like report something to if there's an issue or anything and and the other benefits of it are that it just it makes you able to get work so you're just on a list that people can then look at your resumes there and everything so it's how you get your jobs and i also have like medical benefits and all of that which is really really cool it's like an independent artists because that heavyset bag that you're carrying earlier does a number gosh ah side i mean he looks like it's not like annoying what are some of the things you must have about some things i must have in my bag unsettling films that so i always have like little emergency kit that would have like it would be like a mini first aid kit that has like bandaids kids alcohol statistic pencil like anything liquid band aid also what else is in there bug spray sunblock like anything that if you're out on location you might need and then i also will always have an alcohol palette which is kind of pigment based palate you mix with ninety nine percent alcohol and then it becomes waterproof so in will become a liquid and then it dries drives when the alcohol evaporates and then you're able to just like it's like sweat proof and everything so those are super handy to have users attached to cover all the time they're really great if someone has a little scraper something to paint over what are other things i mean there's so much honestly that i carry kleenex sponges sponges i'm basically gum i'm basically just the person on someone's like do you have this i probably will have something like that in my i beg so whether it be cast or just a friend always on set like right onset yeah generally i am onset if there's a cast onset cast member on set a makeup artist is going to be there so generally i would have on like a union production in a lot of times we have pre calls we actually come in before everyone else with the actors get them ready so at call everyone can start working and get their jobs done but that doesn't always happen on loaded things you don't always get pre calls and stuff and you have to kind of figure that out but yeah okay so you came from vancouver lindsay don go we go and then how long did he the zoo joined a union from the mark i think i think it took me a year and a half to two years i was really really lucky and i i somehow got an need seven hundred twenty hours she walked too so i worked a lot and yeah just really lucked out i had had a lot of good people around me who are supportive and i worked my asfaw is also an important holy yes and they actually i think they just changed that i don't remember what the number is lower lower because holy smokes i i mean especially but then before actually let's go back so you had to leave when tax credits so yeah i was here era i was working the film tax credit had taken away the industry died and i was like well i literally am in my leg first year or two years of work what to do now i want to keep working in films so i decided to go back to vancouver i had one sunday on a daily day on van helsing in the prosthetics department back yeah the series that was on netflixing think thank yeah so i had one daily there but the issue with being in vancouver and like moving there is you don't qualify for their tax credit because so you didn't pay taxes NBC so it's like harder to get hired because people don't want to hire you if you're not gonna they're not gonna get the tax credit from you but vancouver so busy that it doesn't super matter like they do eventually need people but then i had the opportunity i got got a call from a dear friend of mine and he was like hey like this show's coming here and they need make up can i give.

The Bears ended an 'especially disappointing' season with an especially disappointing press conference

"Ryan Pace. You're on the clock despite a disappointing season for Mitchell trubisky. The bears announced that he is returning as the team's starter in twenty twenty. There were however some some changes. The team fired four coaches from the offensive staff including offensive coordinator. And then you look at what happened. The last six weeks of the season season. And this is what I think. Gm Ryan Pace has had on you look at the record. Obviously passing yards. Everything improved but dominique. Are you really buying this statement. Because because from my point of view on the outside looking in D- in the Arizona cardinals say you know. What Josh Rosen Guy? By the way Kyla Murray were drafted number. One I'm glad we got Tannenbaum Outta here because in general managers lie that was a general manager generally lying I at least I hope it was because would Mitchell trubisky show like. It's hard to come back with this guy. Considering the way that he performed. I know we got better in part because the coaching around him got better. They started moving out of the pocket and running the ball with a little more. That's encouraging however it's hard to. It's it's impossible to argue that. He's not wildly inaccurate. And that's tough in this league to be wildly inaccurate. Like he is and I

"You had to heal with these conceivable which were stupidly expensive. And here's also the kicker when you're out how grinding and fighting random mobs you have to toggle whether you're going to earn experience from that battle or if you're gonNA earn items it was so bad. It was such a high any game do you look at. Why would you do that? The headline just popped up on my phone Amazon. Under fire for selling off Schlitz Christmas ornaments. Oh can we look at us us. Let's not okay so final fantasy seven remakes coming out in two thousand twenty S. Well and it. You're not a fan of the cover. Where clouds do you know looking up at shooter? Tower and towery and hold into sorta it's reversible cover. He gives do the whole place at work where it's like black with a little video or the finalized some logo and then the one with cloud reenacted with better graphics looking at you look up at the thing with that being said. I found it when I was looking at the artwork for. I'm excited for his role and remake jockeyed Carolina Salama Mallory. But with that the case I was looking at it and I just find it so off that it just says final fantasy seven and literally the word remake. You just call the pharmacy seven. Everyone would do the job of parentheses twenty twenty like what they did with do do yeah parentheses two thousand sixteen so I really call dude. Twenty sixteen hours refers it to that same resident evil two resident evil two nineteen. But it's not literally called resident evil to remake. We're I just felt it was weird that it actually says the word reading on there. I didn't really hit me until I was looking at the box. Art where I'm just like it really says remake doesn't like that's actually on the thing I don't know it to be amazing look of cheap cheap a little project name on there as weird caller that everyone should refer to it as that you know the actually put it. Yes that was one of those calls where I really do question but we'll see Ten cent lovely lovely ten cent by another developer Suba Games or whatever they ended up by fifty million shares on ten percent of the company. Now tencent is doing their thing. Where ten percent here ten cent there Eh? And doing all that stuff with the case. That's just like they have their hooks and everything but to the point where it's just it's big enough where like people would be scared to piss them off but lil enough where they don't go. Everything's owned by ten cents like try to avoid a monopoly type thing but like it can't be hooks and so many things a little scary. If you do a research your ear big video game Fan Guy Look at how especially if you're in the mainstream games look at how the Games you know may not say tencent upfront. But on the back end of things things they have a stake in their of very five ten plus percent at the Games fifty percent. Think about that. Look into that and you'd be really scared scared. How many things have really do have in the background bill? The puppet strings tencent influence. It's crazy that's not a moral company. That's for sure they are what you would expect from a huge tyrant Chinese corporation like they just want everything on a slice of all the pies. It's crazy. Yeah they they bought a stake in another studio just getting really scary big and small homages buying in. Oh that's it for the week and then that's it we're there we made of you. "Thousand people will like like get along people out. Because I was supporting another artist I think especially the fan base next insanely only. They're very dedicated for better or sometimes but I love the fact that they're really really in there. Being part of that fan base myself. I I as I look at my co host several posters right behind them so obviously. I definitely say I was very hype to see you tweet that I I guess I don't know there's any preemptive tweets before that I saw that and I was just like all right. This is the best thing ever Taliban talents. And that's the neighbor when we're performing like as like for you and whatnot. They were still during the time of like you know like the now on on third and whatnot searches performing their songs. That I was like looking at them like they're pretty. They're so cute and I know for a fact that they're going to make it big and just seeing how big's except they've made like I felt so happy with them you know like they've come so far from that time to now too late not a lot of people all knew about them they were still i. Guess somewhat trainees you know. They're like a few that. Were performing and whatnot. How big their fan bases and see? How support that? They get from other celebrity even from people over here like like junk. That's like amazing. You Must Yeah Yeah No. It's almost surreal like and but the goes doesn't deserve it not to use that very ambitious to your predate you process. I mean that it must have been especially the girls debuted so long ago and took forever to finally come back into the scene. But that's really really cool project. I mean when they debuted viewed. I actually laid out with this dude that I made commercials within the pathological mean commercials and actually did a Stan Luna commercial for the era debut and stuff like that and it was it was it was really really actually. If you don't mind I'll probably send you that when I definitely want I will definitely watch it for sure And then Fo related to Kate Con Full wanted to know if you remember the prison slogan guy at take on Yes I do. I actually took a picture of that. Like I was walking in the now. Like hiding behind Like my friend. Well Yeah Yeah and then taking a picture changing nation that like they didn't bring me and they obviously saw me you know I didn't make it pretty obvious. They I found it really cute. I was like I walked in thought in. That really really need my day. But I'm really I'm really glad a he wants your house GonNa ask you and then to. He's got to be super hype. That you you do remember. So that's that's really awesome but yeah no. I just loved that you know. That's the thing we talked a little bit earlier about how twitter and sometimes a cave fans can be a bit much but on a more positive of note when they are passionate in the right ways it is amazing sometimes like we talked about Luna's fan base and then of course you know miser so supportive of even coming out and being a new group technically. We're all they're ready for it and are always supportive of Y'all I mean your current followers. You know that have been there even before you kind of set out on the content creator path though are still there for you. They always will be so nice to know. Yeah I love I love. How dedicated okay? Pumpkin like I know that sometimes it can be a bit extreme by think that's just because of how passionate they are. You know the artists that they love the music that they I love and I love how they fight for it. And I know that there's been so many Like Hashtag K.. Puppets over party. And that's always been trending at least like once a week. Look at that. Unlike the power that capable Saturdays it's it's astounding. I loved that so much. Yeah no it's it's it's it's absolutely insane. You know I mean just a random tangent real quick I remember when I first heard about early generation back in the day I had has no idea that side look for second and that was obviously a huge thing. I didn't know that it was going to eventually lead to what is now in today's time with bts twice you're talking about so many Cape artists like busing charts and just like taking some you know ward shows absolutely over. You know the the thing I would really like to convey to all the fans you know with their rivalries and whatnot. What is good to support success because all that can really do is open up the doors for other groups you know being a huge group that they are have a ton of supporters has but obviously they have some people who are but I always told him you know why be mad let you know armies do what they do and all that does is allow your favorite groups? Let's do now have this platform is when people start branching out this hereabouts. Oh yeah definitely so many fans have been like I heard about. Uti's I like their music. I decided to give capable try and now I love all of these different groups and all they have so amazing because you know like one group typically opened the door to all all these different groups at all of these different genres and I know a lot of people. Like to generalize tape off as like one type of sounds and unlike there's so so many like different types of music just within like American pop like people could generalize American. Pop is like this one thing but it's it's not that it's so diverse and that's the same thing with Cape Cop like each group has a different concept concept every single comeback at different song. Different sound all the way that they look it always changes with each comeback and I was like an each comeback. They keep on getting better and better. And that's you know like you just have to take the time to listen and look at it and appreciate it and just because it's in a different language I don't look down on that But Yeah I think in class once people give Cape up chance they really ended up loving it. It's just some people aren't willing to take that leap I think but it's it's definitely grown a lot over the years and I've just felt like so proud at how big it's gotten even though and not no longer a part of that Yeah I was just looking back on. It was like as I was very happy to have been sort of part of that whole movement. I guess she should say yeah. I know definitely you were very very again. person is one of those groups like this of the current generation all the groups that were related that you were spawned from like you know cosmic girls and everything. It's just been so great to see all of you guys blossom and then even post group group projects and everything like that. It's just been so great and you know that you will always be there support you you know. That's why you have your classes and that's why you'll always have you know the people that will be their support you and beyond everybody especially beyond the haters. Those are the important people. So that's definitely a cool thing that's kind of spawned out of Cape Office definitely beyond with so many people almost dismiss it as this like quick flash depending it's been around for a while now and it's only growing and so there's definitely all right then so for people who obviously the volume for awhile and then of course we're brand new fans who are now super super super into the classic Vanden. Where can people find you at on the social media as the Youtube whatever else you'd like to plug So you can find me on Instagram at Kyla Dot Nasu combined me on twitter at Kyla and underscore official so and you can find me on you too you too dot com slash. Kyle Massey. All right there you go and then we're just GONNA make sure to follow it all this places to see all the cool stuff coming up. You have any neighbors at school I was GONNA say. Do you have any public appearances or anything that you wanted to let anyone know that you might. It'd be at the same time you could follow isn't find all that out so that's what that's what I definitely follow her on their. She'll be letting US know. We really do appreciate taking time out of your super busy schedule to to talk to us a view shenanigans for low bit so we really do so much. I really appreciate that Organi Kinda okay. A lot of fun having Kyle on there that was that was great. And I appreciate as you who didn't just click off right now. I don't do that. Don't do that because we got a bit of news. Talk Right now. Please keep hanging on this police. We need friends so it gets C- deploy granted Talked recently because they are going to. It's going to be cyberpunk twenty seventy seven versus half life Alex so it's really interesting. The two big releases are coming out however see deploy has expressed here not too worried about it and I think they're absolutely right at least in my opinion not be because again half light. Alex does have. The fact is constrained to that platform working against it back that it's going to be PCB. They are extremely expensive. Do I don't see it really. I'd be curious to see if it will be what val continues to recall a success. Why is it continues? If it's what bow calls a success atlas big but when you're restricting it to are only even what half life and you'll love it you love that we're going to still buy again you probably will not even probably probably in the main storyline exactly. It's not that was the biggest like insult. Everyone wants episode three. And you didn't get it. That's fine yeah but would you guys be willing to at least try. Alex is in the cards. Have we got to setup. I mean if someone was interest of one of those things are sitting in front of you but not really a genuine interest. I mean you have. It's like they're sure why. Not if I go to pact's you're sure okay. Thanks for the right thing. Here's the yard. Because that's the biggest problem. I think it faces is. I think it's GONNA push units. I think very few people love half life to the point. Ain't where since it's not as if it was episode three I would have a view. Yeah but as a just a game. That's not going to conclude the story and may open more plot holes. I don't see it..

"Now and then be occurred occurred assessment at the moment he to channel like a few to consistently watch over the past few years years I guess it just depends like I guess one of the main people that I watch is she's this nail nail artists. Well kind of her. Name's Christine Aka simply neurological. I've watched a lot of the videos just because I was super into now. Are you years ago. I've done a lot of my own nail nail art designs and I just love watching your videos and seeing her slowly he ball from no like total nail artist to branching out and trying different things and Like she was fine the way to keep city entertaining. So that's one of the people that I definitely have consistently washed on. I love Buzzfeed unsal of like scary like we the people who go into like paranormal places. We're talking about like crying and whatnot. And they sort of hit that criteria had on so So that's one of the people that I really enjoy watching I guess it just depends and I know that a lot of like youtubers who were famous no longer are active and I really keep up with the people who are like famous. Now I guess you could say just because they're trendy and interesting and whatnot and like they'd like to do paying through like I'm I'm I'm just not I guess they could say that's that's that's called the good person it's good to hear that I'm honestly sometimes. It just seems like such cheap low quality content at times. Well the biggest wrong is a lot of that stuff is also super script. Yeah people the Bangalore those channels that try to make us candidate in the big problem with that is it's gotten susceptible usually younger people and a lot of trouble imitating those channels that are obviously safe and fake and get themselves into some dicey situations because because they copy someone like that so. I'm glad you run into that. That's good news Shows or a recent movie that you checked out lately that you really served Shows I will always love Like the office a good place Brooklyn nine nine Basically like Sitcom I love the COMMS. I've always loved brand Things like that movies lies. I haven't really really had the time to let go to a theater and watch a movie. I love horror movies ever saw. I love how like intricately McKinley planned it was. I've watched all seven movies like within like less than a week. I think like I just finished. Watch it and didn't sleep at all. I hope that when you were younger to Not Not so. I watched on gentler over but not that one. I watched that one because when I first came on hiatus when I was in when I came back then I was basically just resting less time because of my concussion and my doctor said like Oh. You can't do anything too strenuous so I just spent most of my my time like indoors resting and That was the time right. I washed a lot of movie even hundred. TV shows a solid one on and just been like my favorite on movie. Since then I just love how alike perfectly planned. It was and I don't like a lot of paranormal type movies just because it seems a unrealistic and be like I don't know that freaks me out a bit more something that could be possibly realistic which we're The I don't love paranormal tightening over like crying movies. I guess solid one of the movie spot or they stuck with me and I watched like every single one including jigsaw which is which is really good. Good one with saw. Sometimes you have to binge watch them because because like yeah part five was one of those weird ones where they like reference plot points that you it kind of just forget about in the third and fourth so I would watch it all at once for it all to make sense so everything everything is connected and they all happened around the same time point and then if you watch it all at once and you're like Oh my God all makes sense now but if you were to watch it at like certain times apart then you'd be like what released. Oh yes apart from this yeah. They came out annually for a while so every time one was coming we now. It's like okay. Well I got a marathon. Yes Yeah I forget which one it was but I I saw one. I hadn't watched the previous ones for so long. I was just like acquaint what it. What are they referencing? Jan Jigsaw was really good. I never saw jigsaw. So check that out now interesting yeah. I don't know if you've seen it on instagram. But they dressed their little children of as like main characters from Horror films to find it but the cutest little jigsaw kid. He's like riding a tricycle and he has his bagel smile on his face. And I just love to send it to you because it's just so adorable. I'll have to find instagram page. WHO's I mean? They have one of like a it it they have one trick or treat Mike on it. It's just like a bunch of little kids like like yes. This is my whole life right now. that and then the next thing was stilted I know I have the run. I don't know why said okay so what I was GONNA say. I contacted me when you did that. That's when I realized that I I is that I said Yeah Department residencies. I said no anyways. Favourite place you've got travel to you whether it's in the states or overseas and then what other what is like your dream place to go to you haven't been able to visit yet okay. So the one place that I loved visiting was Japan. We went there twice. The first time was to do our jacket album photo shoot and That was that was really really fun like we stayed at this. I guess it was like a Japanese version of like Amsterdam stayed there around and we did a few photo shoots and then like we traveled to different parts of Japan Just like taking pictures and videos and whatnot and then experiences France is great and then we came back for cake on Japan shortly after so I think like Japan was one of the favorite places I visited good and then a place that I wanNA visit like. I haven't gone to Europe yet so I'd love to travel like just go to Europe and then just travel to she just country since it's all sort of connected Yeah that's I have so many places that I want to travel to the future and I just the able to come off. That'd be great and honestly that would also make for some really. You don't want to always tie your life to creating creating content but at the same time it would be really cool to capture all that and share it and everything especially so. Yeah that is really really cool though. Def definitely the only thing the European any been any you're being countries. I went to Japan for like layover solely visited like whatever the the airport and still need to go to Korea. So there's that but it's really cool to to hear anywhere local that an annual things in the nearby area that you do like doing every year only done anything annually typically for like my birthday take my family and I will travel some place in California that we haven't gone to like last year we went to Palm Springs. It was a great place for me to take a lot of pictures pictures. 'cause I love photography so I was able to get really cool pictures when I went there last year and Like the year before before I don't I don't remember if any place there before but we did go to San Francisco which is great. I would love to live there some day. Yeah Yeah but before I moved out to Korea. We traveled like every year like one year. We went to this really pretty light the house. We went to Monterey Bay Yeah I think there's been to get on citizen into some of the safest throughout like just California itself and we traveled to different states a lot like when I was born. I was born in Indiana and I still have family out out there to revisit neighboring states and whatnot We went down just water few times because my uncle used to live there. And I think like that I've have traveled most places but they're still quite a few states that I haven't been able to go to that. Have you ever been to the humid held at a Texas. I I haven't yet but Recently family sons the there and They told us to come visit. You just haven't women had the time yet. The I heard that it's really pretty areas for sure. Yeah this is humid but have than we have humid it really all right then so guys we know we know we know mailbag you guys wanted to asked a few questions so I went through the thing and if Kyle Kyle you got some time real quick for a few questions from the people that them in okay. We're good we got the approval of all right cool blues clues mealtime Song Right there. That's right so I should I should. I should put the Blues Clues Mail. A letter doesn't hit live. Or whatever where you remember the kind of funny that maybe not a bit on the episode happened Quite Shavuot and not quite sure about nothing episode. But Lemme went on Weekly idol that was crazy episode. A lot was happening. That time I remember us doing that whole Like sort of flutters called like you know all them dances that we did at the time. And my favorite moment was when it was playing one of new song and on members hung and she just like she ran up and she dancing and I love that part so much just because when we were in like in the practice room allow the times like we need stretcher just like play around like we play a lot of like our Elders groups song unlike our senior groups songs and like dance along and whatnot and That was one of those one of the songs that she and like Nova do a lot. They turn it on and then they do the dance that they do it. And like this over exaggerated manner that made it just hilarious watching and it really. They just like it brought up like our energy and Released a little attention especially in the room because no a lot was going on that day. You know We just we wanted to make it feel like a very comfortable environment and when she got up there and did that I immediately felt things like the tension should being released as whole like dance. Play type of things like that was that was one of the most iconic moments while we you're on variety shows. I don't think too many variety shows for sure but I was definitely fun. He was a good one With user disabuse star wanted to know if you obviously you're in prison but did you work with the Iowa girls much and how how is that experience.

NFL draft 2019: Will the Cardinals unite Kyler Murray with Kliff Kingsbury?

"Just a couple of hours from the start of the NFL draft. The we're not gonna have some Philly to the second countdown on this show. Hope we do it's expected in some quarters at the cardinals will take Cuyler Murray with the first overall pick. There've been six weeks of reports that he will be or he won't be. Let's get right to the only question that matters. Tony what is shock? You Cuyler Murray doesn't go number one. Okay. So when you say some quarters all I've heard for X amount of weeks. He's going to go number one that the moment they signed cliff Kingsbury to be their coach. It was Kyla Marie. And it was Josh Rosen out will be shocked. No, I'm not going to be shocked because because if you get three number ones, maybe do something else. But I'm going to be surprised to the point of being a little bit stunned. It's the one thing I'm looking for. Maybe I'd like to see what the Redskins do other the music. I hope there's a lot of music from Nashville. But for me, if they don't take him, I'm gonna go, really. After all this really. Are you not know because I don't believe anything I hear. So you don't think sport in any sport? Because the point is to gain an advantage for your franchise. So the cardinals look their own quarterback doesn't know what they're gonna do the guy. They drafted last jayder with the first pick. Josh Rosen number ten overall air. I that's right. He is now basically saying he tried to go the other way and try to say, yeah, I'm good soldier. I'm gonna be with like to hell with you people. I don't believe anything you say his employer. So he doesn't believe them. Why would I I don't know what I'm gonna do it to pick? I don't know to me. That's the only suspense. There is I care bears have a pick in the first three rounds. So you don't I'm interested to see what the risk rate up to take the local quarterback Wayne house because that's all. To see that

NFL Draft 2019: Notable Picks from Latest Expert Mock Drafts

"In reality isn't a difficult project. What is going to happen when we don't know in particular with this draft. We don't know what's going to happen. The number one pig came to get this thing over with. So he could really find out what's going on as opposed to all these different mock drafts that are out there. I'm right there with you. And I want to thank you for allowing me to come on the show. But it's a lot of group thing group three group out there. And that's the biggest thing that you see right now. It's a lot of my drafts. Everybody's just tired of becomes tired exercise. And we just wanna get it up to see the actually van happy. Now. How many have you done yourself, Jordan? I went back and looking I see one that was in January. Did you think that was your first one that was released pretty it's pretty close to what would be current stuff? Now, how many mock drafts have you come up with from January till now so I'll like to do one at the midway point before the combine. And then I do another one the week of the draft. So I'll be coming out with another one probably on Thursday morning. Okay. Now, how significant of a change would you have overall? He was certain things going to be changed. But the big the big pigs. You think there's going to be significant change from yours? The original ones. Now, I think there will be and I think it's going to start with calamari, and they both have those guys flip flop. Out in Nate both at the second big. And then we'll see what happens from there. Okay. So do you think your and we're talking about Jordan Reed and L draft staff writer for cover one host of the draft board podcast. You think for sure it is a foregone conclusion cliff Kingsbury in the Zona cardinals are going to draft collar with the number one pick. I don't wanna say it's a foregone conclusion because it at the same time last year everyone thought that Sam darnold was going to be the big to the Cleveland Browns just a year ago. So I think it's probably about seventy five percent chance of going to the cardinals. But we all know we just have to buckle up and see what happens during the drag because things could change at any moment. You mentioned some touched on before. Why does that keep happening years ago? It was Goff and Wenzel. They're not going to be top guys. Boom. What do you know team straight up? They go one to last year was all about darnold. Nobody knew Baker Mayfield gonna go number one. And then he did this year. It's all all about Murray, and even has to a certain degree where people were saying, oh has is going to be gone before. Let's say number six the giants pick. Now, all of a sudden, it sounds like not only may be there. But the giants may not even want them. They'll take Daniel Jones with number sakes. Why does that happen? Why are people so all over the place with quarterbacks in particular in these drafts leading up to the actual draft those quarterbacks other most important position, not only football. Sports period. It has nobody has a clue about football. They know exactly what the quarterback does and how they operate. So with that being said with these quarterbacks flopping over the past few months and even weeks, it just shows how much lack of infield that we do have. And we're not ineffective. So we're not supposed the curtain back and meet with these guys person or gets to know them personally. So we don't know what's going on in the mind that they've got them in or these other executives going on around the league, Jordan. I respect the honesty right there. You're right. Still fun. It's all about so fun to read about I get and we got to do it, and it's fun to project different things. But I guess the reality is without let's say, there's no Andrew luck there, and nobody knows for certain who's going number one without that. It's hard to project these things and the GM's arm can give anybody Dave Gettleman not gonna come out and tell Joe giant fan or whoever in the media what he's going to do it his pick. Why should he right? Jordan. Right. I mean, we saw Jon Gruden sin their whole scouting staff home. So it just shows you just how secretive these plans are and no team really wants their hands shown or what is going to be revealed on draft. They so I think we're gonna we're gonna see a while. Right. If I'm not sure exactly what the giants are going to do. But I think they're going to get a lot of backlash if they somehow don't find the quarterback future. Whether that's at six or at seventeen so let's get into some specifics here, we're talking about Jordan Reed NFL draft staff writer for cover one host of the draft board podcast. You mentioned you think the cardinals are going to take collar Murray with the number one pick. Do you think that's a mistake? I was talking before about how an organization can hire new head coach draft a quarterback in the first round last year guy. What was the best quarterback coming out less? Your Josh Rosen. And then a you later fire the head coach cliff kings, Mary you could certainly argue whether that was a good higher. Not. And I don't think it is. And now take collar Murray with the number one overall picks. Do you think will be good pick a good move for this car does organization? To keep that number one pick and take collar Murray. I think it would be and I say or I'll put it this way cliff Kingsbury, everyone likes to point out just how fancy as offense is and how well operated at Texas Tech. But it really didn't work like a lot of people were saying that it worked should have work and with cliff Kingsbury, he's probably gonna get gonna get one chance to be an NFL head coach and what better way into your guy in there. He has no ties to Josh Rosen. He was not there when the team drafted him last year, and he has he doesn't have a freelance relationship with him. But on the flip side with Colin Murray. We've seen him and his offense and everybody seems famous video circulating on. If cliff gains vary ever had the overall selection that he without question would say column, Mary so I think with Kyla Mary why such a great fit in this offense. If you think about all the great young quarterback that entered the league over the past few years and even going back to last year with Baker Mayfield. Sam Donald Josh Allen. Even Lamar Jackson to an extent all of them have have had one. Thing in common, and that's having the ability to create all script or being able to operate and when things break down, and that's exactly what column or is able to do. But with Josh Rosen and the state of Arizona Cardinals off it's a front. I think if they're able to select calamari he can kinda relaxed weakness that they have a front just because of the lack just because of the -bility he has to create scripts though, I think he would be a really good fit in Arizona. Interesting fascinated see a if they keep the big if they do in fact, take him and see what happens with Josh Rosen. And then obviously how it's going to pan out because Kingsbury Murray will be must watch to see how that works out for the cardinals. If in fact, they team up who's the team most likely to trade down from two or three there's a lot of rumors teams will to trade down on this. Good debt specially defensively. Do you see the Niners? Do you see the jets maybe trading out of their top spots here? I think the night is it gonna take if they're just because they haven't used need off of the they don't have anybody there. Now, they did trae for deport but they still need some help off of the age. I think they're sit along the interior would force Buckner Eric St. and now with Solomon Thomas transition inside. So I think they're fine on the interior but outside of D Ford. They don't have any other threat coming off the edge. So you plays both in there with that young up and coming into your your, and then you pair would be Ford. I think that would be a really good combination of front now. One thing that's a really interesting spot is the New York Jets at three because is very wide open out there that they wanna trade back just because they don't think there's a lot of value there at that. But they only have six peaks. So they wanna get back and maybe regain some of those recoup some of those that they had to trade for last year when they acquire them darnold. So maybe they wanna trade back and still get that edge rusher that they need even if Quinton Williams or Josh Allen is there. And maybe they have those guys graded similarly on their boards day. Okay. With trade him back. Maybe six or seven is still getting a guy like a month with or somebody of that nature. Now who would be the team most likely to trade up with the jets for number three. See that's the biggest problem because this similar to last year's draft is that there's no quarterback that teams wanna trade up for third spot like a Sam darnold from last year. So it takes two to party and with a trade. They don't have a partner right now. I think but maybe some team has Haskins on their board. Maybe like Cincinnati at eleven I could see them or Washington trading. Alway from fifteen up to three now with a lot of draft capital. But I'm just using example, we have teams that could straight up. So that overall selection, right? And that's why it's intriguing when you look at what the jets having that number three big rumor to be wanting to trade out of it. I mean, if they don't think that Alan is war that I don't know what they're thinking there. I wanna get more picks back. Maybe get good players. Let's say the do trade, in fact with the giants team that, you know, look, it was rumored last year that that could possibly happen is rumored again this year. Because the giants won't their quarterback. Do you think the giants need to trade up from six to get there the quarterback that they want? I know Gettleman throwing out a lot of smokescreens here. But ultimately, do you think has gains or Jones will be there at number six for the giants thing Jones definitely will be and odd just don't really know about Haskins right now. Because last week we saw that he was going to be a top five selection this week. They're saying, right. Fifteen. So there's a lot of rumors out there. And we really don't know. But if the giants won't be sure I think they should trade up to the third spot to secure their guy. Just because if easier guys go hitting trade up and get him and don't wait on anybody. Just in case team jumps you. And now you're gonna be stuck maybe reaching on through lock or even Daniel Jones who do you like better out of those? I'm assuming you like Murray the best out of the quarterbacks. Give me your take on Haskins Jones. So I have it Murray at the top. And then I have happiness, and then I have locked and then have Danny Jones right after that. And I'm a big fan of the top two guys in Haskins emerge. And I say that because they are a bit different as far as this guilty. I don't know we talked about earlier folks here. What I love about him is. Yes, he's a one year start.

NBA Draft 2019: Latest 1st-Round Order, Predictions

"And ladies and gentlemen, we have a new mock draft out Mel kiper Jr's three point. Oh is here with us. And we are looking forward to the draft. Mel will join us in just about an hour to talk about the new mock draft. But there have been some changes in the draft specifically one less quarterback. Now going in the first round then in mel's two point oh mock draft. So we have four in the two point oh mock draft with Daniel Jones from Duke rounding out of the last pick of the draft to the patriots in the first round of thirty two. There are only three quarterbacks now in the first round, according to mel's latest mock. And obviously a retirement might be a big reason why and the quarterbacks have changed as well. Right. As far as where they're they're going. Well, Cuyler he still has Tyler going number one derozan. Well in his last draft Cuyler going number thirteen to the dolphins. So now and this draft he hasn't going number one. He had. Dwayne Haskins going number six at a giant Kyle Murray. Going number thirteen to the to the dolphins. Drew lock going fifteen to the Redskins and Daniel Jones going thirty two to the patriots. So as you mentioned Daniel Jones now out of the first round, according to the latest mock draft by Mel kiper, just three quarterbacks Murray number one. The main says Dwayne Haskins at number six, and you start to hear reports that the giants may go defense was six and then was seventeen go quarterback. But right now twain Haskins at six and then drew lock sitting there at number thirteen for the dolphins. Does the only three quarterbacks in this latest first round. Yeah. Going to be very interesting because we know what the giants listen one thing. Dave Gettleman has made very clear he does not feel beholden to tell us his plan. And so I don't feel overly beholden to believe. A lot of what we're hearing coming out of the giants can't because if you've got a guy who's basic messages trust me, I got this. Well, then we understand he doesn't feel like he has to tell us the truth. So as we hear these things. Coming out. We also understand this time of year is about deception to an extent it's trying to manipulate the draft order trying to manipulate the opinions of certain players. So that you can try and put yourself in the best position to get the guys you ultimately want. So it makes it difficult to try and read the tea leaves it is although I have to say on cattlemans behalf. He said all of last spring saquon Barkley is a generational talent with the second overall pick. And that's where he went. Look, I think we all agreed. There has to be a quarterback in the giants future. Whether it's at six or seventeen trade now Cleveland, but it would not surprise me in the least if Dave Gettleman waited until the second or third round to take a quarterback this Dave Gettleman, he created that created, but he he made the term a more of a vernacular in the NFL draft hog molly's when he was the GM of the Carolina Panthers. He loves the big guys to hog mollies. And let's be honest. This draft is going to be decided outside of Kyla Murray. More than anything else about the big defensive lineman in this draft. The hog Molly is on the defensive side of the ball. So depending on your draft grades for your quarterbacks you could take one of those at six and then a quarterback at seventeen it all depends again on your on your draft great. If twain Haskins is highest on the board and draft grades. You don't pass that up. If you have a Dwayne Haskins drew lock. And whatever other quarterback equal in grades. You know, maybe use that seventeen pick baby can trade it up somehow to get one of those guys as I said, this always comes down to grades. Do. You have a choice amongst grades. Are you close enough in quarterbacks where if you don't get one you try and get the other? But we'll see we'll see, you know, one of the biggest changes in from the last two this for Mel was they had the patriots taken Daniel Jones a quarterback, and this one I serve Smith junior the tight end from Alabama going, and that would not be shocking at all you have really three out of the top tight end Hopkinson the kid from Iowa teammate, Noah Fant, and then Smith junior all three likely to go in the first round a three first round tight end to on the same team come on. And what would that tell you as we saw? The patriots jump into the first round and take a running back and Sony Michelle at the end of that. And now to see in the next year three tight ends going. We've talked about this. However, you want to split it. Last year were Quinton Nelson. Went in the top ten in the draft as an offensive guard. We saw roquan Smith going the top ten as a middle linebacker. The middle of the field is worthy. NFL is being built right now. And other teams are starting to catch up to what the patriots have done for years. The way that we've seen teams export that specific area and three tight ends in the first round would hammer that home not denying that. They are guys that are certainly probably more talented than usual tight end groups. We're used to seeing but it's also about value. It's why you see running back taking it to overall by the giants last year. I mean, the other thing is I think they're more interior linemen in this first round then quarterbacks right? Like, a not tackles guards and centers. There are more of those according to males latest mock than there are actual quarterbacks being taken which would be very unusual. So the top five in this new draft that Mel kiper put out is Kylie Murray. Number one of the cardinals Nick both the D N number two to the forty Niners. Number three. Josh Allen the outside backing backer pass rusher going to the jet number four Cornyn Williams. To the raiders and number five guy making a pretty big jump. Devon white going to Tampa Bay at five in the last mock draft he was number eleven to the Bengals now in mel's draft. He is sitting at number five number six twain Haskins seven Joon Taylor. The offense attack from Florida going to Jacksonville sweat, the D N going to the lions at eight Sean, Gary the D N going into the bills from Michigan and TJ Hopkinson. The tight end going to the Broncos at number ten. Here's here's what I wanted to talk to Mel about and one of the issues that I have laid on me big fella with with this draft comes, you know, some some point and one of them is there are few prospects in new first round projection who are making their debuts because of their combine performances. There are four guys who have jumped into mel's first round who weren't out there before again based on the combine combine performances. I don't understand that. I don't I don't understand that. If you wanna say. You looked at the combine to go back and look at tape of them. But to say, they're combine performance jumped them up that doesn't compute to me. Well, I think that's I think that's the assumption though, is because of their performance you went back and look and that. That's fair. That's why I want to ask them. How did this? Make you go back and study them more. Because if you're just basing things off the combine I got a real issue with that. Yeah. I I don't think you would do that or teams. But at the same time, you look at the positions of the majority of the players that would be involved in that. And I think this could be true for teams as well. It's interior offense. It is right. Three interior offensive linemen Terry McLaren the wide receiver, but when it comes to interior offensive lineman. You wanna talk about an area where the scouting grossly lags behind to actually great and overall draft. It's a difficult area for a lot of people to see and understand because you don't have the benefit of a lot of stats. You don't have the benefit of even the combine members necessarily always translating to production. So when those guys go and they paying and they flag in the model somewhere for what they do at the combine. And then you go back and spend some more time looking at a guy like Lindstrom who wasn't going to be a big name. He wasn't like, you know, Gary bradberry from North Carolina State won the Remington award this year. Like that guy was a stud Boston College was a middling. Okay. ACC team this year. So Lindstrom wasn't getting the credit. He deserved even being as good as he is. So you go back now, and even these NFL teams, maybe we're late to the party on some of these guys all of a sudden start giving them an extra. That's why I want to ask I just wanna make sure with Mel that because I'm just reading from the combine performance, and again, let's put a name. To those you mentioned McLaren the wide receiver who is one of the others. Chris Lynch reminder, you just mentioned from Boston College now. Number twenty one to Seattle Eric McCoy interior linemen going number twenty two to Baltimore. Right and the Garrett bradberry. The Senator from North Carolina State who is you mentioned one the Remington award is the best center in the country number thirty one to the LA Rams where they have an aging center, and John John Sullivan. And that was that was one of the things have been saying for the Rams the last couple of years that dynasties been built on the interior. If you land a guy like that good, Lord or you winning out it is. So we'll see how that plays out. Now, the one thing that I find interesting he he has drew lock the third quarterback Mel dozen his latest mock going thirteen in Miami. I'm telling you don't take out Denver at ten in Cincinnati of eleven in play for quarterbacks. I mean. Yeah. Denver made the play for Joe flacco. But John Elway has messed this up a couple of times with all due respect. I mean, that's just outside of getting Peyton Manning. He has not figured out the quarterback spot there at ten they might be in play for quarterback. And you have Andy Dalton with his situation with the Bengals and his contract situation. I, you know, I think that there's a really good chance that they could be in play with a quarterback there, by the way, by the way, Mel kiper Jr's mock draft not the biggest item related to the draft this week. That will have news for you guys. What more on that coming up later? This week

NFL rumors: Kyler Murray seen 'universally' as No. 1 pick in 2019 NFL Draft

"Right. So the NFL combine is about evaluating talent getting ready for the draft. But according to the NFL network, it's done. Done vision has been made on who will be the number one pick in the NFL draft. In fact, it's so certain now that teams that are picking in the top ten of already given up on the idea that this person could be available to them because it's done. He will be the number one pick in the draft. Now, if you don't know the cardinals have the first pick in the draft, and according to a consensus overwhelming consensus, the decision has been made the Arizona Cardinals with the first pick in the NFL draft will select. Cuyler Murray quarterback Oklahoma. Now, here's what they're saying. In terms of Murray, people are beginning to believe almost universally. He will be the number one pick of the cardinals impact team. Speaking of the top ten believe they have no chance of drafting Murray. He's not the biggest quarterback in the world. But he is very big presence at the combine. Now, remember Arizona drafted quarterback last year. Brown named Josh. By all accounts, is is sort of a throwback to what used to be considered the prototypical, you know, quarterback the size and everything else like that. No. That's not a throwback at all. Steve. I I I I would agree with you that there are certain offenses like we see every single season that are going to employ more mobile looking quarterback running a style offense that is different from what we typically see. But the majority of the NFL is still running an offense that is tailored around the need for a pocket passer who can understand complex offensive systems who can read defense's in throw to the open, man. And so I don't think he's a throwback at all. I think he's he's really sort of in line with what a lot NFL teams are looking for. And so you're suggesting that the Arizona Cardinals are going to be looking to trade Rosen. Well, here's the deal. Now, this gets back to the hiring a cliff Kingsbury. You know, how it is? It's a copycat league. So this all came about because clip Kingsbury coach Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech, by the way without much success. I mean, they were they weren't a top team with Patrick Mahomes as a quarterback running that Texas Tech offense. I mean, he's putting up these numbers that we saw for years. I mean, granted guys all these other guys at tech stack, including clip Kingsbury himself back in the day pouring up these big numbers. But because he coached him. He must know something. I mean, he he must have some of that, you know, Patrick Mahomes magic to him since he coached him, even though he got fired by Texas Tech. But now, here's here's what color Murray said about cliff Kingsbury, he says coach Kingsbury, I know the type of offense he Razzie recruited me out of high school. And I have a great relationship with him. Now, if I were to play under him, I think it'd be a great deal. But I don't get to pick players. I just show up. And I do when I supposed to do obviously be. Very comfortable how it operates the offense. So there is this belief that with kings varies offense that Kyla Murray is going to be a superstar. Now, if you're the cardinals organization, you have higher clip Kingsbury a guy who has a losing record as a head coach at the collegiate level on a flyer that somehow the magic we saw from the breakout superstar the NFL this year. Patrick, Mahomes has some connection to clip Kingsbury. And he could do it with another quarterback that runs a similar style offense as Oklahoma does. And with Kyla Murray, by the way, who set an all-time NCAA record this year for passing efficiency breaking the record. A Baker may have from the previous year and the exact same often. So I ask you right now if you were to put Josh Rosen on the trade bloc. What would he garner or do, you hedge your bet if you're Zona keep Rosen just in case Murray is what you think he is. This is what I would do. This is what I would do. I would either a I would check in with cliff Kingsbury. Make sure that things are going good between he and Josh Rosen as far as sculpting an offense that both parties are comfortable either way. That's something that you're going to do on a weekly monthly basis with your quarterback coach with your offensive coordinator, certainly your head coach who has an offensive mine, and is going to be calling plays most likely if you get the indication sometime before I dunno April first that you're not able to run an offense with Josh Rosen. You look to trade them you look to trade him. I mean, and you start shopping that sooner than later because here's the deal. Everybody's got their war room. Everybody's got their draft board. Everybody is kicking the tires on these prospects. Josh Rosen has played a year and then F L. Now love it or hate it. We've seen what he looks like at NFL level. We've seen him against NFL talent. So now it's time to strike while the irons hot this decision needs to be made. So I would say you still have a month before you have to make that decision. But but the clock is ticking.

"Kyla Murray would be at the NFL combine all five was I'll tell I'll tell everyone picked under five ten according to multiple sources, Ian Rapoport says Oklahoma quarterback Kyle Murray's measurements. Five foot ten and one ten. No, Mike, no way. No way. He can now be drafted number one. We all went under five ten this white hot news. Number one yet. We're all picking there. You heard me go higher than that? I think. Yeah. I don't have a second source on that. It's it's coming in. We don't have his weight or is other measurable. But we'll keep an eye on the story. If it changes if he later in the day is less than five ten we'll update you fix ox or you go barefoot with that. I don't know. Maybe lifts implants. He'll he'll implants. Yeah. It could. ID wait enhancer winners to apparently what I'm I'm the the rumors are that he's doing good. Wait, wait. You have details on this. Not confirm yet. We're still we're still verify confirmation Adam Schefter Kyla Murray. Five foot ten and one tenth of an inch two hundred and seven pounds. Oh my God. He's number one nine and four eight on the hand nine and four nine thousand nine as well. It'd be nine and a half. Yeah. That sounds wrong. Nine point four. I've seen nine. Charles robinson. Wingspan sixty nine and four eight. Yes. Eight sixteenths. We don't do this for any other sport. Right. There's some other interesting. Somebody say, you know, he's got small hands in the NBA. Like, we talked about quite Leonard's hands, or, you know, Kevin Durant wingspan. But when it comes to the NFL our quarterbacks every last detail we want. Yes, mclovin. Dwayne Haskins is six three and three eighths, try to guess his way you've seen them up close and personal. Two thirty to thirty one. That's it's way bigger than everyone in the class. He's big. Yeah. Yeah. That's real nice. Big thought he was running quarterback. That's been. No, he's not luggage. Show that he was runner. He's he's not. However, he's not. Thank you got profiled there. But you gotta be a running quarterback. No, no. He's not. He's not at all. Yes. Mclovin. Yeah. He can't run it. I think it's a bit of a problem, by the way that he he really can't run. Well, I Tom Brady kit run either. That's true. I mean, so what it's good to talk where tobacco short quarterback a mobile quarterback at immobile quarterback. Give me the formula. There is no formula. There is. But I think if you have certain traits certain characteristics, and that you wanna be great like all roll out all of that. And it's like Baker Mayfield. You know, people said he's six feet tall. Does. He want to be great. Does he play big and big moments is the leader? And what happens when he throws an interception. He gets knocked out. That's what you find. That's how you sort of look at a quarterback and go, okay. You got a chance to make it. So I don't know Cuyler Murray's personality. I don't know if he's a leader. We saw Baker Mayfield their times he was a leader. And at times petulant, but he he loved the moment..

Is Kyler Murray the best running QB the NFL has ever seen?

"Said this earlier arguments say it again, and I know a lot of people are going to disagree as they runner. Cuyler Murray is the best running quarterback. That's. Ever come into the National Football League. Even Michael Vick. You can go back and watch which I've done you can also look at the stat sheet. Kyla Murray in his last season or his last two years at Oklahoma average, two more yards a carry than Michael victims and his career at Virginia Tech. He's just a little bit more dynamic because of his short area. Quickness. The last thing I would say is he's one of the best passers to go along with that athletes as runner that we've ever seen. His accuracy is off the charts not quite Baker Mayfield. But it's off the charts. If I'm in the top five, I'm taking Cuyler Murray dudes of football playing Jesse. And you gotta understand that those who are are thrown off by his size. I remember war dome when he came into league and that was listed at five nine one eighty and every defenders listener chops off can't wait to get on them. Play twelve years league, three pro bows? And I never got a square shot on them. And I never seen. Anybody? Get one. Is this like you sit. Yes throws. That's short area space when you get into. That phone move with that guy. And you think you have all the vantage because of your size that quickness he's gonna take four steps before you take your next one, and he's going to be out of there. And I think that's going to play think the real interesting thing for me is always think about the fault mechanisms of the quarterback Cam and the default mechanism if your default mechanism is from the neck up, you'll survive even being smaller, even being athlete gifted even being able to move around. If you're the fault mechanism is from the neck down. You're in trouble. Meaning I'm just gonna take off and run around here and throw my body throw caution. My my body to into harm and all those things they're caution to the wind like if that's your fault mechanism. And so then it comes down to who's actually a gifted quarterback because the gifted quarterbacks when things break down Bill extend the pocket, they'll move around. They'll even escape the pocket, but they're gonna make their decision from here up. Joe and Kenny do that. And I think he can. Yeah.

He's probably gonna get all that nine point five. Even if it doesn't work out, that's basically doubled in what he signed for with the as they're very obvious part of this is the glamour side that we talked about what drew Hinson is that, you know, at some point of Murray were drafting, the even the first second, let's say second round, he's probably gonna get a chance to start at some point in the NFL very early. And it's a better life in for all the people that have all of these injury concerns with the way this game is affiliated with the way. It's played out. And really, you know, for exception guys the worst in the argument 'cause I always point this out. Like, yes, football's dangerous football scary. There's long-term stuff but as far as your career being derailed because injury. It doesn't really happen. It..

Eagles' Wentz has stress fracture in back; no surgery needed

"Recovery. Time estimated three months outta college football and plenty of ball action today, Las Vegas bowl number twenty one Fresno state basing, Arizona state, Fresno state, head coach Jeff Tedford sizes up the opposition understand going into this game. We're playing a great football team. Very well coach in all areas of the game, very explosive. It's gonna be a battle. We understand that we have a lot of respect for the Pac twelve conference and Arizona state. And you know, they played very very hard kick off at three thirty eastern time. I'm Peter Schwartz. Football season. Which is why you need Sunday morning football tomorrow at ninety s- turn with me DA on CBS sports radio. Hi, this is Dan Patrick catch me. Weekday mornings seven to ten on the home of the best sports talk in Colorado. Xtra sports thirteen hundred. He's arena he calls. It. The bullpen. Come late in ten. Hang brew. Another hour. We add the booze show us. Adam the bull back our number three. Adam the bull of you here on CBS sports radio. And we're coming to you live from the Quicken Loans studios. National mortgage lender. Quicken Loans apply simply understand fully mortgage confidently. We'll continue our NFL conversation. Sam Monson pro football focus lead analyst Sam how you doing? What's going on buddy? I'm doing great excellent. You know, it's funny this week. I heard I don't know if you heard this. But. Greg Williams who to me. Why don't really work in Cleveland locally in the week? And I have no desire for Greg Williams to remain the long-term coach Gregg Williams. I think he's about as old school is old school gets and he referred to some advanced analytics this week. And I almost was brought to tears Sam because well, I think I think that all sports need to have a good balance between old school scouting and new school analytics you'll so many old school football guys are so hesitant look where we are in baseball. Now. Right. The sport is completely run. Everybody has an analytics department in basketball and football is dragging their feet a little bit more in some organizations, but the here an old school coach like Greg Williams referred to some advanced analytics. That was that was wild for me to hear it must have. I don't know if you heard it. But it probably would've made you happy. If you did. Yeah. I think you're right football is behind baseball. And how that kind of stuff is gone, but everybody understands that it can help you how you present it to all of these people know, so head coaches are often the last guy to get on board. But it's because you need to present it to them in in the right away. Now, there's a ton of ways that say the PS database can help is those guys. But if you come to them initially where you know, something they don't wanna hear they're not going to buy. But if you immediately show them something, you know, a fancy pretty grasp the chosen exactly what they've been saying for years, suddenly they're all on board. So I think a lot of teams the league you're just starting to sort of see this time where the analytics guys or people that have been using the stuff within the Bill. Building for years are finally starting to figure out how to present it to coaches added presented to general manager is and you know, the guys bad again in front of the media. And that's when you're starting to see this filter out. I think it's been used a lot within the building for years already. But now we're starting to see those guys use it on a daily basis and get the headline stuff sent to them in a way that they're they're much more comfortable with gesturing at an and actually taking it on board. We're talking with Sam Monson pro football focus lead analysts Sam. Baker Mayfield has had a tremendous season. As a rookie as put up some big old school numbers if you will. But when when you went from a pro football, focus perspective when you guys run the numbers on what he's done. How would how does he great out compared to some other rookie quarterback's of the past? Yeah. I think you do need to go to quarterbacks with a pass because he hadn't shoulders above any other rookie season right now. He's a top ten grade quarterback in the NFL. He's tense overall. Just one physician behind Russell Wilson. So you're already talking about it really really well graded player right off the five. And obviously pro football focus was very high invade your Mayfield coming out were the guy is the winter by for him saying that he was the best prospect in this draft in it really wasn't close to the next guy. I think so far. That's that is being born out. We have seen better performances in the past rookies. I think that twenty twelve season was a pretty incredible year for rookie performances. Obviously it didn't last because RG three in particular had a phenomenal season that year, and then tours and really hasn't been the same player since. But you know, Baker Mayfield is looking as good as we've seen any rookie quarterback. Look probably dating by twenty twelve season. We're seeing some really impressive play from him. And I think his play generally has been better than even the statistics suggest because you had one of the highest rates in the NFL right five and drop rates. And unlike most of the times when a receiver drops the ball, it's an incomplete passes. It's not doing that much damage to your passer rating, or whatever but Baker mayfield's have multiple assets that have been hit his receivers and my hands and ended up as interceptions. So those are taking a sledgehammer to operating over the course of the season. It's ninety three. Point four right now. And this is a season where passing is exploded operating ninety three point four is nice great at the moment. But it's his performance has been way better than that. We're talking with Sam Monson lead analyst pro football, focus Sam, let's talk about another rookie and that saquon Barkley who probably be battling Baker Mayfield for rookie of the year. From an offensive standpoint. There's been other good rookie running back but saquon Barkley make over two thousand total yards this season. How does he compare to Todd Gurley Leonard four nets and some of the other big rookie seasons from running backs? Yeah. I mean saquon Barkley just moved into first edition CFS running back rankings. He's the the number one guy right now through the through part of the season. He's been incredible. He's been everything that everybody who was championing him saying he would be coming out. I think he's been better than we thought. He might be there. The idea that he was a perfect running back prospect that don't think really holds up work holes in his game in particular. This tendency to to be a bit. Reggie Bush in terms of wanting to balance everything outside to look for that clay, but he's gotten a lot better in his first year at not doing that at taking ugly yards when they're there. And that's all there to be had. And it's still maximizing goes explosive plays getting huge games. Those are there. So he has been fantastic. I think again he's been as good as any rookie running back the receipt for a number of years. Really? He's I guess he's played as well. As Alvin Kamara did last year as a rookie on he's done more fulltime base. So he already has you know, two hundred more snaps than Kamara managed all last season playing that same kind of rate is Amari Cooper. Has memorial Cooper's play been much better. Or is just a the players around him made him much better. I think it's a bit of both, you know, playing wide receiver it so difficult to play. Well, if the ball isn't coming in your direction off the ball is coming in your direction in attachable manner. Having you can do about it. There's only so much fancy route running against air. You can do if the ball isn't coming your way. So I think we're seeing Amari Cooper was always a quality route runaround player that would get consistently open. And now we're seeing what happens when you target that guy. He's still a very good player and I play put up big numbers. And obviously, that's that's meaning that his greatest better because he's being given the ball and that talent is being maximized. So you know, I think that that was always there that that talent that play was always inherited his game. Even in Oakland. The raiders just weren't making use of it. We're talking with Sam Monson pro football focus lead analyst. Sam. I know you guys today had an article about projecting Cuyler Murray's pro potential. I'm curious because obviously he's a top ten pick and major league baseball. He's giving compared to Ricky Henderson. He signed a four and a half million dollar bonus. There would have to give it back obviously at a even a better year than Baker Mayfield did this past year in college, which is hard to believe. But obviously, you know, people make a thing about the thing about Baker mayfield's hike, which I thought was over rated. But obviously calamari isn't even close those big as as Baker Mayfield. A what is his potential d do you think he could be a good NFL quarterback? I think he could be, you know, you're right people that the highest the big question Mark because people did make an issue out of Baker Mayfield. Tighter on Baker Mayfield is short for an NFL quarterback. But not, you know, it's not unprecedented. We've seen quarterbacks Baker Mayfield type successful in the past. They're not obviously, not as many as there are as you know, six with three quarterbacks, but those guys have existed and they've been good in the past. I don't I don't know that we've ever seen quarterback that is Kyla Murray's Hite house significant success at the end up, right? You know, he is going to be when we get the official number on him. If it ever gets that far he's going to be significantly shorter than even a guy like Russell Wilson. And you would be in legitimately uncharted territory. When it comes to that. Now, if you're going to do that, you have to be there has to be something else to say, well, okay. That's not going to be a problem because of this and his grading has been incredible. His is great this season at Oklahoma has been basically everything is as as good. As Baker mayfield's grade had been on that was the best we've ever seen from a quarterback, right? The best seasons we've ever seen at college with one of his own. So he has a level of the best play. We've ever seen coming out of college from a college quarterback. And we've been doing this going back to two thousand fourteen but we've seen some pretty good quarterbacks over that's fine. You know, we went back, and we also graded James Winstons freshman seasons. We have got Carson Wentz you got Jared Goff. We've got right. And they got all these guys and Carl Amari stacks up to those guys. Sorry.

"Someone you probably won't see in the Super Bowl Oklahoma quarterback Kyla Murray. So he is in the Heisman conversation. I mean, obviously to is far and away the Heisman favorite, but you know, calamari being New York he'll have a suit on and he'll be considered. And he is a pro level quarterback. Like he could go in the draft and be a professional quarterback in the NFL. But here's what he had to say about that decision. He also played other sports. I like, but as far as. That's the plan. He was drafted by the as we got a four point six million dollar signing bonus. So Jalen, rose baseball or football. What do you think about this decision for Mr. moss moles, and I appreciate your maz-? Maturity I was in college before you could Google any of the footage. I was not that polished no not that disciplined that young man understands who he is. Like forget sports like he will be successful. Like, I just see that trait and certain people saw Victor depot sorta CJ McCollum e you talk off wack, and we interview them like he got it. He got it. And the reason why I say that is right now he's playing on a team. They may be in college playoff this season. Right now.
