Lakers Defeat Cavs As Buyout Market Heats Up

"Got a win and it was a good win. It was just a solid win where they got it done with defense 102 eighty-six. They get the double years old friend Larry Nance Jr. For the Cavs. My goodness, 17 points ten boards five assists nice outing for him. Great to see great dude, Larry Nance Jr. But it was the Lakers who really stole the show in the second half Murphy Flores coming up big for the Lakers 13 points. Don't normally see him in double-digits five boards plus a block three of seven from Deep kuzma only four points, but eight boards and seven assists again finding ways to log in even when he's not scoring so you gotta like that they're from him but 17 points from Dennis Schroder probably the story of the game four steals seven. It says five boards for of 10 shooting out for of Sorry 7 or 12 shooting my screen skipped a bit. They're seven of twelve shooting one of two from the three-point line two of two from the free throw line for steals seven turn off, but he had the ball in his hands pretty much the entire game whenever he was on the floor. He had the ball. So I guess we'll forgive him from that. But is he going to get paid? We need to talk a little bit about that cuz I'm getting a bit nervous about the job situation. And then of course Montrezl Harrell, ho-hum. Just doing Montrezl Harrell. Thanks 24 and 10. Come on mantras ten or fifteen shooting. Imagine. If you shot better than fifty percent from 3/4 of a table. I'm sorry from the free throw line for of eight from the free throw line tonight. That's not going to get it done. But seven offensive boards 10 boards and seven of them are on the offensive end just more amazing stuff from my name is Harold gotta love that.

Should LeBron James have more MVP awards? Yes, but it's complicated

"All right fellas. Let's keep moving here. Big baller brand versus the king. Wanna talk about this game last night so lamelo basically saying to us. I mentioned this yesterday. That it's just another game playing lebron and as for lebron. It was just another day in the office. Thirty seven eighty six became then talked about a potential fifth. Mvp award lebron running or here my name of some of the best basketball players in the league this year again. it would mean a lot At my age What i'm able to do what i've been doing this whole season You know what our brains at a table every single night on both sides of the floor. it would mean a unbelievable thing for me personally. Is my career so to see what a chips may. Kyle kuzma reiterating. That sediment saying you should want eight or nine guys. We haven't had this conversation in a while. The last time i asked you max i think you had. Joel embiid as your guy. So where are you now. Who do you think's the biggest threat to lebron for. Mvp i used to be very clear. Lebron's the mvp. This moment and beat has now missed too much time. And he's presently hurt. Lebron is the mvp of the league at this moment. The easy answer to who's the biggest threat is james harden. He's playing the best basketball of his career. And that's really saying something and kyrie's been great and have been other great james harden you watch him now. You're watching basketball. Genius like the combination of scoring from anywhere on the floor at historically elite levels combined with the kind of court vision and unselfishness and setting up his teammates that he has shown in brooklyn in the service of winning has been remarkable however pardon also miss time in the beginning of the season because he won on the team. He's on the rockets and he was forcing his way off the rockets. So let me make a suggestion here. I considered yokich best offensive player in the league this year. I think stephen the biggest threat to lebron james. Mvp is damian. Lillard damian lillard a man that you have sat up here right in that spot and apologized to on. I take on this show for ignoring we. We all know him in apology. Dropped thirty six last night. Is he has a colt. Euro kind of status in the nba. Everyone loves this guy used the most clutch player in the league. That is you nets like unanimous consensus that please if not most clutch player damian lillard. He's averaging thirty points a night with assist everything you want. He has taken team decimated by injury destroyed by injury no mccollum until recently and their fourth in the western conference the fourth best record tied for fourth best in the western conference. He's the sentimental favourite. He's playing mvp level. He's shown leadership we all know he has not been recognized. Enough hardens miss time with his team and beads now hurt that you look at each candidate on other teams and lillard is at least as good as any of them. I think he's the biggest lebron's the mvp lillard is biggest threat.

Sportswriter Zach Lowe on NBA Mid-Season Leaders

"Where. We are at the midway point of the nba season. And that means. I have questions for you about the utah jazz. I say the utah jazz to you. Right now what comes to mind a whole lot of threes there making these every time you know checkup jazz box score at my brain just glances over twenty two thousand from three leg. It's just nothing there number two in defense in number three or something in offense. They do profile as championship contender. Like they're the best team in the league by record right now. Are they the best team in the league to you. While the comparison that that's become sort of commonplaces they're they're the new sixty win hawks. The team that was built to win a lot of games regular season pretty ball movement side to side movement. You don't really have the star power to compete against lebron james when it comes down to it in the playoffs but i don't think they're just sort of blake a regular season flute so the way the jazz are playing right now. It reminds me not just of the hawks as you said but also a kind of mutant version of the houston rockets simply because of the sheer volume of threes. Does that comparison sounded all right and also does that comparison than invite the questions about what happens in the postseason. If shooting a bunch of threes doesn't go as well as it did in the regular season. That comparison does not ring true to me honestly just stylistically. They're so different. The volume of threes is similar. Like they are taking a houston. Daryl morey level volume of threes. But they play so differently. The other comparison is brad stevens. I think the first one to give voice to this is to two thousand fourteen spurs which is kind of like. That's that's i don't want to say that out loud well to an mba hipster fan to an emmy afficionados. Let's put it that way kinda sewer. What does that specific spurs team. What does that evoke in your memory. It almost has this sort of religion. Level reverend yes. Everybody loved watching that team. Anybody who was at games three to five of the finals that year when by the beginning of game four we were all looking at each other. Like all my god. They're just going to destroy the heat and to compare any team to where that team reached. It just feels like talking to a pitcher in the seventh inning of a no hitter. Something like you just don't want to say out loud but that is a comparison. People are making looked at jazz. Their undoing in the playoffs in in previous seasons was day would very much like the hawks. Actually day would get a lot of open threes and not make them and you could look at that and say well. We did everything right. We just didn't make shots. Which is what. Every hawks team including that one said after the playoffs. And so yeah. The three point volume is similar to the rockets. And that's a little scary. The team that this discussion has occurred in the context of is the lakers. As you said as it must be the defending champions and so when you look at the lakers right now. I want to get to lebron specifically in a second but just them without anthony davis and how much they've struggled most recently losing to these jazz and blow out. What is that revealing to you or confirming to you about what this team needs to actually content. I think like any team. They need their best players to be healthy. I i'm pretty low on the lakers panic meter because it's not just anthony. Davis who you know was first team all nba hill assures. Anthony davis is not like some borderline all the best players in the league. Dennis schreuder is maybe their third best player. I think kyle kuzma is kind of the claim that mantle disturbing might be their third most important player. Because he's the only other guy. With the exception of some frisky alex russo games entail. Norton tucker will get you some. You know some stuff done now and then but he's learned other on ball creator the other the other guys threat to score or pass to somebody else. Yeah you take them away and it's like oh my god. Lebron has to do everything and and you know he's probably getting a little tired and even though he'll never say it the only thing that will make my panic meter go above like three point. Five on a one to ten is if we get news. At davis's injury is lingering or more serious that we thought it was then if they're healthy in the playoffs yeah. Competition in the west is is probably better this year. Particularly if denver finds whatever gear they had going in the bubble. There's going to be a lot of really good teams in the west. You could get the one seed in the west and play the warriors. You could get to play the mad. I mean it's it's just every round is hard there. But yeah i i can't i can't get too worked up about it right now. Yeah the western conference meet

"Twitter at Forever underscore lane today. We're going to talk a little bit about Kyle kuzma's new deal with the Lakers will talk about tht Dynamite. The guy Lakers fans are buzzing about and Kathy Lakers keep him long-term. What's his situation looked like plus the Milwaukee Bucks get slapped on the wrist for their the bojan bogdanovic mess. We'll talk about that and a new deal for Rudy. Gobert Joni me and is always on the front office show. We've got Keith Smith. You can find him on Twitter at Kate Smith NBA. You can also find his work on realgm Yahoo. Celticsblog basically everywhere Kate. How are you doing man song? And we are going to be plagued by technical difficulties today. There's something was caused by me and I didn't have my mic off me. I am doing well man. It's almost Christmas here, which means it's seasonal is just tomorrow. If you know, we're we're recording this on Monday. We got a tip-off tomorrow bring night for your Lakers one long. Have you lived that title before waging a title Defence? So that's right. Yeah. I yeah, I can't wait. I'm excited, you know, and we're wrapping up transaction season 4 for the time being right? Well, well we'll get back into that around the trade deadline which has now been set for March 25th. Officially. We we know, so yeah, but we got we got some transactional stuff to talk about with your team. Yeah for sure. Let's start off with the Kyle kuzma deal three years forty million extension extension on his contract. And how long does have a player option in that final year? I know I was perfectly fine with it. I felt like this was about market rate at least close enough to where it's not anything to fret over. What was your Take On Me? So Keith from an outside Lakers perspective. Yeah. I thought he might get a little bit more than this. I thought he might get something starting around 15 million and if had he got down to two free agency instead of the Lakers getting this done now, I think what the Lakers are rightly read the room as is that are going to be a lot of teenagers with cap space and because of all these suggestions, there's just not a lot of guys to spend it on. So I think what the Lakers were looking at here was if we can get him locked up on something that's a little more team-friendly. Let's get that done because there's eighteen could a force them into either losing him entirely or matching an offer sheet that just wasn't as comfortable because we are very rapidly going to see there's going to be more money available than quality players to spend it on in a young age. He's not really young anymore. But youngish scoring forward who can score inside and outside..

"kuzma" Discussed on Lakers Nation Podcast

"If you need a bucket and you need to stay space the floor. You can use them in a pinch. You can throw them the ball in the post and he's got a nice turnaround jump shot. So overall Gallinari might be the slightly better player right now. It's close. But I like the the versatility that that Ibaka gives you so I'm going to go that way as well. I mean shoot Ibaka is a closing. I mean that's a closing player. He's probably on the floor and closing time and that's something that's very important. We talked about Kyle kuzma its value to the Lakers and the reason it dwindled so so much was because in the back end of the game Kyle kuzma defensively, they didn't really want him on the floor which they had better options offensively. The Lakers will not have better options defensively at Power Ford than Serge Ibaka. When you move Anthony Davis to Center or vice versa that is going to be a great defensive unit. And that's something the Lakers are going to rely on and winning time. And those are the most valuable players no matter what is gallon. Are you going to be on the floor in in crunch time with a minute-and-a-half to go off? When you need a stop probably not you're going to have to be calling timeouts to accommodate for him. He's more of a complimentary player. But Serge, Ibaka is that guy where you can say he is going to be one of the key players especially in a spots. Yep. Yep. That's it. Exactly. That's that's the benefit of going with him. And so that's why we're going that direction if they have the option. I hope they do wouldn't it be great if the Lakers have like two three four really good players that are like, hey, we want to join the Lakers and they get to Pig. It's a dream scenario. It would be yeah, especially if you're going to lose Avery Bradley. Yes, I do. Yes, please. Yes, please and it is kind of feeling that way. I had somebody asked earlier if you had to pick let's say the contract for the same Avery Bradley r k c p I think you stick kcpt just because of what he means to the team and the clutch Sports Connection all that but let's not undersell laverbread. It's a really good player and I hope they can figure out a way to keep them around. All right came out of my one of my favorite players on the team. The Return of Playoff Rondo

The Return of Playoff Rondo

"So Bill Game One against Houston was Rozan rondos first game nearly six months. Can you break down everything that he went through with injuries? Yeah. It was interesting because this is a guy who has been slowly it feels like kind of breaking down as he's gotten older he had two broken fingers on his right hand last year his first year with the Lakers. This year he had a calf injury. He had an aversion fracture in his right ring finger and this is all before we get to March and the shutdown from the pandemic. So the Lakers are off for four months they go to. ORLANDO. Rajon Rondo is with the team their first practice inside the bubble Lakers guard Rajon Rondo has suffered a broken right thumb in. He's expected to return to full basketball activities in six to eight weeks, he's going to undergo surgery to repair the fact fracture this week. So he leaves the bubble has surgery. He's out for another six weeks or so the Lakers have a first round series against the Blazers Rondo, comes back to the bubble and is actually cleared to play for game three against the Portland Trailblazers, he's on the court getting ready. For that Game Rondo was listed as active tonight for the Lakers but was a late scratch with back spasms that happened. So, by the time, we got to game one of the second round against the rockets. There was kind of this sense of porcelain Rondo forget about it what level, but is he just going to be healthy enough to play and be able to stay healthy to make a contribution to this team? What does he had to say about all of these injuries he basically downplayed the injuries and said that these are the sorts of things that are going to frustrate. Anyone was very frustrating injury and step back I'm my career fourteen years have. Everything happens for a reason. Obsolete man says talks we. Still for the moment but the timing of this latest injury, the broken thumb and the back spasms I think particularly frustrating for him because this is a guy whose entire reputation and career is built on playoff performance on being a guy who really ramps it up in the postseason. Early, in his career uses a second your point guard with the Celtics out of Kentucky playing with Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen and Paul. Pierce and he ended up playing an instrumental role. You remember the two thousand, eight finals against the Lakers decisive blowout game. You know he had twenty one points against Kobe Bryant and the Lakers twenty one point seven rebounds eight assists six steals to give the Celtics a championship for that story franchises nearly ovation barrage. You've seen it win Lebron was in Miami. If you remember game three of these conference semi finals Rondo dislocated his elbow. Oh. Wow. Left arm hyper-extended boy. Didn't see it on that I replay certainly. Saw It there. When back to the locker room pop back in came back onto the court to help the Celtics with game. Time is pad. Rajon Rondo expired the crowd rare Boston. We've seen it time and time again in his career in these big moments, it's not superhuman. But when you take a player who is seen as a high level, but not superstar player can a hitting that superstar switch when the playoffs come then obviously a legend starts to grow. And for him did have another injury right when the Lakers were expecting to get him at his best was extremely frustrating. But the timing actually ended up working out he made it back for the second round series against the rockets and as we've seen was really no worse for the wear the Lakers got blown out by the rockets in game one. They're all going to be in a good mood tonight as the Houston Rockets when it one twelve to ninety seven. But after that, they rattled off four straight wins how much credit do you think Rondo deserves further taking that series. So easily I think you could make an argument that without Rajon Rondo certainly that the Lakers wouldn't have off the next four wins, but he was instrumental in games two and three and four also, but specifically games two and three with his performance in the fourth quarter game too. He knocked down a late jump shot to kind of hold off the rockets and what was a close game Rondo two. Point jump shot that's Rajon Rondo with a bucket right there ten points nine assists for Rondo and then engaged three. He was actually the guy who is Lebron James on the bench to start the fourth quarter in what was a close game at the start of that period he either scored or assisted on Lakers I eight possessions of that quarter to help kind of turn what had been another tight close game into a rout for the Lakers. Rondo. He'll three and Rondo hits another one largest laker lead tonight Rondo has. Been Spectacular and a nice Lee for Kuzma. This is sort of how his reputation has been built. But this also is kind of out of line with the way he's played for the Lakers over his first two years. He hasn't been the guy who has come up in the big moments or been clutch. You've seen the decline of a player who's in his mid thirties and has been in the League for fourteen years, but there has always been this belief from the Lakers that when the playoffs come that he. Would step up and have those sort of vintage Rondo performances and so what you saw was sort of this return to form that the Lakers have always promised would be there and you saw not only offensively. But also defensively when Houston started to make runs, it was Rajon Rondo who was picking up James Harden full court and pestering him into turnovers they double team Arden and get a steal and another round of bucket. That's a ten old laker run hard was trying to go behind the back Rondo was right there. In both game two in game three second-half possessions where rondos picking up James Harden. The former MVP of the league, hounding him into a turnover, taking his pocket and going the other way for layup that completely shifted momentum and those both are Lakers win. So when you look at what Rondo did in those two games, I, think you could easily say that the Lakers could have been down two. Oh, two one in the series instead of kind of romping to a five game series victory.

LeBron becomes all-time leader in playoff wins

"If you remember back to Sunday, Game two of the Western Conference finals. Lakers gave up 41 points in the third quarter before they were able to clamp down defensively, allowing the Rockets to score just 17 in that fourth quarter. Get on Tuesday. It would be a strong fourth quarter. That proves to be the difference for Ella. LeBron James wind up having a huge first half 29 points, but the Lakers were actually trailing at the break. L. A would hold the Rockets to just 18 points in the third. Turning things up defensively, one of the best defensive teams all year that turned it up the Rockets to 22% shooting in the second half. There's another turnover. Anthony Davis, with the steal handed back to Gordon, Front left drives past LeBron layup blocked by James from behind LeBron James with a great block. Gordon thought he was buying me ran down from the back. Another block for James on a runner by harden LeBron James, with two monster blocks 54 Covington to Rivers Wing left us with a rim up on underway Blood by James and the stick that won't count. It comes after the red light was lit. And LeBron with three monster blocks in the corner. We're tied going before the difference in this one. It was a 64 point first half With rockets. Scored 33 points in the first quarter. 31 in the second But just 38 points total. In the second half of the Lakers. Clamping down on defense would also Their foot on the accelerator on offense. Morris swinging Rondo opened three Ling right, Got another one playoff. Rondo is here tonight in Game three. Four point lead for the Los Angeles Lakers. That's 12 points. Ferrando as a timeout is called by Mike D'Antoni governs and threw it away. Trying to find a friend on the left sideline. Rondo working right side before with Davis. Hi, Lobb. Davis caught way right off the jab. Step shoots for two and dropped it in 26 15 for Anthony Davis early, but it's a dagger a little bag. Now, with a minute to play Rondo around the angle Street left side of the room past the diving Kuzma catches and lays it in over the front iron and the Rockets have a look to him that they know they're probably done with under a minute to play, and the short answer would be Yes, The rockets were done at that point. The game was here on ESPN radio Lakers would close it out when it by 10 1 12 102 Lakers taking a 21 Siri's lead Lakers out of 21 to 8. Run. To start the fourth quarter after as we heard, the game was tied heading to the fourth LeBron James 162nd career playoff victory. That's the most all time he spoke with TNT, do what it takes to win both the defense and I know I say that a lot, but it was just the truth. My teammates looks for me to do a little bit of everything, and tonight was another opportunity for me to help and I was happy. I was able to come through for us tonight. LeBron at another milestone to your resume, passing Derek Fisher becoming the NBA's all time leader in a playoff wins. I know you have said time and time again, you'll reflect on those milestones later. To play at the level you're playing at and achieve that milestone in your 17. What does that say about what we're trying to accomplish? It says that I played with a lot of great teams says that I played a lot of great teammates made some great coaches in Cleveland in Miami and now here in Los Angeles, you don't get those wins without teammates so on the coaching staff prepares and do all the preparation Behind the scenes video coordinators. The guys will help rebound the basketballs force assistant coaches that trainers the athletic staff on its own. So it doesn't happen without the support of castes. And it's why I'm able to stay here with this achievement. But it's all about the three organizations. I've been with calves, the heat and not the Lakers. Because without them, I wouldn't be in this position. Speaking of the way you're supporting cast played tonight. Defensively, particularly in that second half. What did you guys find that allowed you to lock into Rockets offense. We know in the first half going into halftime that we didn't play our best. Defensively. We allowed him to get into the lane. Without contest. We allowed him to hit some threes. What I'll contest are rotations was slow. So when we went to the locker room, we watch some film. And we had conversation right away on what we can do in the second half to get better and be better, and we was able to transfer it into the second round. Last thing I'll ask you about. I know Coach Vogel keeps on telling us That he was going to use the memory of Kobe Bryant to fuel this playoff run and continue to talk to the team about it. How have you channeled that to motivate you through this run through the postseason in this most unique environment? Then today, we just so we make him and his family proud, and that's all it's about anybody's ever step foot and put on the Lakers jersey we hoped would make them proud as well. From Kobe all the way down to everybody's ever played in Los Angeles have been a part of Los Angeles Lakers organization. That's what we're trying to do. It means the tradition here and it's our responsibility when loser draw toe hold out without most responsibility and utmost respect, and, you know, doctor Dr Buss will want as well. Loser draw. This one turned out to be a win for the Lakers by 10. They take a 21 Siri's lead, LeBron finishing with 36 points, 29 of which came in the first half. You heard him touch on the defensive adjustments that the Lakers made at halftime. As well. Then they came out and turned up the intensity on the defensive end Lakers finishing with six blocks Houston had one came from Russell Westbrook late in the game,

Anthony Davis Has Room to Grow

"GonNa Focus on the Lakers, which as an editor is near and dear to my heart because sharks picked the biggest red meat team on on on the table here. But they've been really impressive with us are there to one and Anthony Davis looks like probably the best player in the bubble thus far chunks. Why don't you leaders us through some of the things that have been happening with Lakers why think for the record this is called the impossibly good-looking persons corner just clarify. For. Their how dare sir? Okay so we're looking at the Lakers thing to me that's jumped out in the first three games is how they're playing when Anthony Davis playing without Lebron on. So that was been their biggest problem. All season is those non Lebron ad minutes because he idea was. Okay. If you have a D- then Lebron can rest he can get. His breaking it as time off, and they'll still be fine. But before the restart when eighty was out of the Ron, he was minus three and five, hundred, six, hundred minutes as those are important minutes Lakers have to win in the restart I mean obviously is a very small sample size but who cares where we're doing podcasts in the restart their plus night. Eighties playing without Lebron. That's just a massive flip on their whole situation and to me watching those minutes was set out to me I think number one. Not Having region Rondo. I think that really kind of low key killed their team because when rondos playing he has to have the ball right like Rondo can't play off the ball Swiss hole in the ball he's not really a threat to score someone's really guarding him and then on defense that giving you much either so like Alex the numbers when ad and Rondo without Lebron it was minus five and without Rondo they're playing Caruso and waiters with a d the floor is spread and the thing. Anthony. Davis. You don't need a traditional point guard Anthony, Davis give eighty the ball in the mid postals kill people right? He gets the ball then it kicks shooter instead of the Rondo. So it's like ADP without Rondo back great and the other thing too is eighty at the five. So they're going eighty Kuzma than like Greener Casey Caruso waiters whatever. Eighty s numbers at the five the year are insane. They're absolutely ridiculous. So cab. Looking at that with no Devellano Dwight Eighty has a usage of twenty eight shooting of Sixty six point six. Now base that means in English as eighties in the ball, like he's hardener Jaanus and he's been the most efficient player in the league. So if looking at those two numbers, there's only been one player in NBA history that had to be that efficient at that. High usage not staff like five years ago. So basically, when eighties at the five, he does a established about shooting threes he's basically scoring at will every single time I think long story short eighty more room to grow I. Think we're seeing that right now like leading a d. plan space given him the ball he's got levels still the go to get into them right now. Yeah I. So the biggest thing off of that, which was great I just wonder if their margin for error is too thin right now obviously the Lakers have been incredible. So let's get that caveat out of the way I think probably favorite if not among the favorites for the title. People like to remind us on the group Chat specifically Chris Because I don't think sharks was. One I remember that yeah. Where we pretty much we troll the Lakers after their first loss of the season and. Venture like the succeed but clearly, they've they've far exceeded those expectations. Great. Please don't ask me. But I do wonder as bad as Rondo has been at times. As much as Bradley is the fifth most important guy on that starting lineup at times I do wonder if the margin for error is a little bit more thin and you are relying on the cruise of the world on the Casey Visa, the world more than you would like to my wrong rob now I mean I'm I'm pretty compelled by this whole situation that sharks laid out like the idea of shifting some of those pieces around and unlocking ad in a different way like makes logical sense to me given his skill set this is. The Guy, who can you know Kevin O'Connor talked in in the restart this week about how? Bam. Out of Bio Converts Defenses Ad in the mid post has a similar effect where if you clear out, you give him space and a straight line drive past almost any big in the league like that's such a powerful thing that there should be a way to orient pieces around that. Make Sense I. Think I get skeptical is in that margin for error and it's in, you know if you look at kind of the core of these lineups. AD and CAL Kuzma, and Alice Caruso or kind of the three man anchor of it and in around that, there's a revolving door of guards. You got some Danny Green minutes you get some dion waiters minutes he gets JR Smith gets in Casey ep you got whoever they cobbled together in that minute in the rotation at those guys scare the hell out of me a little bit and I think you know when you flashback to eighty as a Pelican and where he was some of where they fell apart without drew. Holiday on the floor without kind of more traditional point guards on the floor which just not having competent entry passers not having guys who could get a d. the ball in positions to score, which is it seems like such an easy thing. But the thing I don't trust dion waiters to do but it is a thing. Maybe I do trust Danny Green to do it. You know like some of these more professional veteran level guys like that distinction I think is an important one and probably the difference between bubble seating. Games bubble playoff games, right where you're getting Jr's and the demons at least lower in the pecking order if not out of the rotation on a regular basis entirely, and then you're looking at these minutes where it's you know, Danny Green Casey P. and those guys and cannot work I. Think I. Think there's a chance that it does but I do get a little bit suspect just in the sense that once playoff defenses are really keying in on what this lineup look like and how it works what does that? Mean deep because you know Jaanus has had that scrutiny in terms of a big who handles the ball who's creating for space lineups like we know what that looks like in defense is know what that looks like defensive kind of just been dealing with these Lakers lineups without Lebron floor all year haven't had a lot of trouble with them, but they haven't hammered them either in terms of the the mechanics of how they work. If this starts working, then you invite that level of

"You've got away with some of these things against the magic just barely, but there are things that are going to need to be cleaned up and I four talk about turnovers now. This I think is actually the most forgivable part because you're trying to integrate these new players in Dion waiters and JR, Smith and Players have been out right. They've been at home for four months. They're gonNA lack a little bit that chemistry. That's going to be natural, and then on top of that the Frank. Vogel is tinkering with lineups. It's not just that they have played in four months. It's an they played four months. And then you've got the coach. Mixing and matching things which is going to create a little bit of confusion. Confusion and we saw a bit on the defensive end. Just because you don't have that familiarity with your teammates, he was trying lineups. The we may not have seen very often if at all during the rest of the regular season so Vogel I thought an by the way this. That's the right decision. He should be doing that. He should be tinkering with lineups right now. This is the time for that. So. I'm not trying to criticize them here, but the turnovers do need some work. Okay. You can't go into a game and have twenty three turnovers. I was shocked when I looked up in the magic. We're like within five suddenly in the third quarter and I looked at the stats. Okay, this is why because the Lakers had twenty three turnovers for the game, and the Magic had seven. Seven turnovers all game for a while. They only had one. They took care of the ball and because of that, they got a lot more shots. So the turnovers are certainly they need to be cleaned up. We saw a few bad ones out. There Look Dwight Howard. Dwight Howard had a lot of turnovers where he was getting called for for steps, he was getting called for illegal screens. That was that was an issue Dwight. Howard versus the reps continues to be a thing. Dwight Howard had five-term. Where's Lebron had five tournaments couple errant passes KUZMA head three look..

"There was really showing how much better he was getting finishing in the lane, and that's great for the Lakers but the Lakers need him to hit open shots, and if he's dominating practice, I would imagine he's also hitting jump shots, so that means a ton for the Lakers if they have Anthony Davis a healthy Anthony Davis, coming off of the shoulder you. You Lebron James Fresh and then you have another guy who's potentially another I don't know the third star. He's not a superstar, but if he can get out there and play the way he was really for the totality of the season, but then shooting the basketball better, this Lakers team really becomes unbeatable cow coups offensive game brings his team to a whole level so I'm hoping to see some type of progression yeah. Right I mean I. We've been talking about it all season. Well Trevor I'm like you I'm a little reluctant to get too excited about it. Because I do realize you know as one thing to do that in a practice and nothing to do it in the game, right not to say cats not to say can't translate, but I will say this man, I do love her coups in if he's shooting better, and he's really. I, having this kind of a giving this kind of. Of, oppression Vogel, I mean what I love about. cousy is not afraid of the moment you know what I mean. He's got some coronas when it comes to take a big shots, so if we have a guy with that type of mentality, and he's actually making those Bassett's. Who's can be an x factor for us every. We've known that since the start of the season I mean he's the boy that lived as you say. You know we're just I. You know I would. I wouldn't be surprised if coups has some good. Some great moments ended this postseason, but I also would be spicy, so its bad moments says that's just kind of stories that you know. You can't expect them to string together a bunch of consistency but a matinee. It's not to say you can't. Make big shots for his possibly. Make an impact. Yeah, the the range of outcomes for cowboys very wide I mean we. We've seen it all season. We've seen four points at a game called crucible. We've seen thirty four points in a game. Kyle Kuzma, so you've got that wide range of outcome, but if he can if he can be a little bit consistent if he'd hit fifteen to eighteen point somewhere..

"All of these things that are so so important so with all of that that's at stake I get why you have to hapless 'cause. The NBA can't be everywhere at all times. It's more likely that a player is going to see another player breaking the rules that anything else, and so that's why as awkward and uncomfortable as it is, I can see why you kind of have to have this. The SNITCH SNITCH hotline in place even if Dwight Howard has already been been reported. Come on Dwight folderols. Man I had a point on that I was giving A. I don't. Know I just trying to think of what exactly I don't know I lost the we'll. We'll move on I. Guess so okay well. We'll come back to it whenever you think of it, but the bottom line is that the Lakers are going to be getting ready to play That's going to be coming up in a couple of weeks. They're going to be playing. their scrimmage games. I and they're going to be getting into their sitting around. We know there's the market is going to be coming back. We know there's going to be a Rajon Rondo. We've talked A. A little bit about that. We've talked about how important dion waiters is going to be in that setup. In fact, I did a video of the day. All about why waiters could be the guy, he could be the key guy now that Rondo is out of y, the Lakers are going to need him, but you know Frank Vogel, injured Dudley both had some interesting comments today jared Dudley was asked about who the third best player on the Lakers is, and I've got a quote here. Matthew Marino from Lakers nation was kind enough to to transcribe this for us. Ed Here's here's what Jared Dudley had to say. He said. Third Guy is Kyle Kuzma. Now WHO KUZMA! Insisted to the point where you have this third guy I think people have to realize big behind a d. and broad, being able to move to the four sometimes takes. Coups was minutes, but anytime AD has missed a game I guarantee you. If you look at those numbers, he's averaging over twenty I think. He even scored thirty in that. Okay. See Game so for me in my eyes. Kyle Kuzma is our third guy now..

Can My Baby Have Parmesan On A Milk Free Diet?

"Quite often. Dairy so lactose and Milk protein gets really confused, so people often confuse with what's lactose intolerant and what's COSMO protein allergy and there's quite a few different types of cosmic protein allergy as well so the immediate dairy allergy that often hear about in the news where he child consumes food product with milk protein, and they might have an immediate allergy, so say within two hours of product they might break into hives. There might have rashes and in very. Very severe cases they may have difficulty breathing, and so on an terms of a delayed caswell protein allergy where the the symptoms may present. Longer than two hours from eating food product with counseling protein present that could be things, persistent constipation X. Small. The hats difficulty with growth reflux. It could be you know you might see babies with back arching. You know very persistent crying and it's not say one symptom in particular. That, we look at it really a series, a combination of symptoms that we would look at review in order to help with a diagnosis, and with these delayed castle approaching allergies. You can't really test can't do blood, testing or skin prick testing to create a diagnosis, so you can make it a little bit complicated to get on. Top of you know what what is going on. Does my baby or child have a delay Kuzma? Protein algae in terms of a lactose intolerance is really got nothing to do with the protein that's found in dairy products like. COW's model cheese. Yogurt and things that it's about the milk sugar called lactose, and that's present in all dairy products, but with the case of some individuals some suren they may not be able to absorb. All break down lactose that's found in some dairy products, and so what happens is that it can cause a lot of abdominal discomfort, and it can cause diarrhea now it's very unusual for say in Caucasian parents. Ought children should I say? For there to be a problem with lactose intolerance often. Children present with some of the symptoms that have described it probably going to be cosmo protein allergy, but it is still very possible. Day is say after a period of illness guest riders for example that in the short term sometimes children can have difficulties managing lactose that's found in car, smoke or yogurt, and things like that, but that's usually just very very short time.

Banking on Voice - ENACOMM & Bank Independent

"Us about about the project and so what what does the Alexa skill that you guys have developed do? And what was the? What was the thinking behind? When we first started our conversations with an accom- we didn't know what to expect. We didn't even know what to do with really St- I think Stacy said it best. Is that so we started with the thought of? How can we take our typical telephone banking system? That's that technology has been around for four. Seems like forever and so we were like. How do we repurpose that into modern technology and modern use cases so partnering together with an Economy Fintech provider? They are really at true partnership here. We were the very first one to come out with a fully functioning Alexis skill in the community bank space. Now some of the larger institutions the international banks that are housed here in America or even some of the couple of super regionals they were already doing some of the s but really we felt like our customers were longing for that as well to be able to say. Hey if a bank of America or chase would have this type of service. Why can't wait? I see we have the same type of access to your systems so they came from a customer. Need they actually the customs approach to and also this. Will you a proactive and thought well? We need to get ahead of this before they do. It was really more proactive. Because of our customer base being very tech savvy and especially our newest market which is the Huntsville Alabama market. We felt like we need to make sure that in order for us to compete against the larger institutions especially from a tech perspective. We needed to be proactive in this space. So when I say fully functioning that's the differentiation between us and some of the other banks or credit unions that have that they may have an Alexa skill. But it's more informational sharing like where are we wears locations. What's our hours of operation? We really wanted it to be truly as said an extension of our other tools that we offer to art whether it'd be mobile or online or telephone so they log in and get account information for me. Personally I've got a college aid's daughter and so was the question we get from her. Hey Dad I need some money so then I can go and just by walking through the house. Tae Alexa Transfer money from account to my daughter's account so those are some of the use cases that we have and we're continuing to expand that working on some other use cases right now to expand as far as card management for the debit cards. The credit cards and those kind of things as we continue to move forward. I see okay focused on the the most common actions that people form on their accounts festival implemented those and then now you looking for the more advanced features those in as well. That's great okay. Great Stacey tells about the project from your side then what what was it like to Cra? Alexis go four bank whether any particular challenges that you had to face. And what advice would you give to someone? Who's WHO's looking to do the same. Whose is taking on a project to the signs. That's a great question because there is a specific answer that it's really got nothing to do with how we build a skill it has to do with multiple parties involved in the thing you have to look out for the difficulties run into is the larger companies involved Talked by Google Amazon Right Amazon. The company that is the keeper in the approver of these skills and so's Google on their side. I will go to that side of the house but Amazon. This is the first real step into a retail banking application type of thing right in my past i. I did this for Mobile APPs with apple when they first had their APP store open. Add it for banks and it's the same type of learning curve with working with Amazon going through the approval process Amazon not understanding how everyone thinks they understand how a bank works. And I'll say that just exactly the same. Everyone believes they understand. How Bank works when you work with. Community banks. That'S NEAT. Learn how they actually work and each one little different from another one and you can try to define a process for which you wanNA bring on these skills right for Elixir. Whatever but these skills for getting the weather has total different requirements than the skill for your banking and we had compliance issues. We have enrollment issues. We have Lincoln account issues. We have all these things you have to do and be compliant with on our side and actually I was walking Amazon through the process. Of sometimes you have to change the way you're thinking because this is not a weather APP. This is not a joke. Gap does not attribute this is banking and there are some things. The banks are already doing to link accounts that may be at to adjust your expectations. How Link Accounts Right? That's just one example and going through the approval process with Amazon and it different iterations. That's really probably. The most complex part of working new technologies into banks is yet. There's a third party provider like Amazon or Google. Who has to approve these things and has certain expectation on their side of how the system will work in. We have to really Kinda match the expectations and the realities. What a bank needs right to? Does that mean that there were those pushback on the on the platform side on the new Google side because he went meeting standards was it the other way round. What did you need things from them? They weren't providing up front. And you have to be kind of both. It's kind of both so the expectation that you're starting from scratch realized that a bank might already have a method for linking accounts for example in Kelly States. Bank independent already. Lincoln accounts through methodology in order to enable their voice banking on the phone system for that and so there are some things that instead of confusion users like it's a brand new system to create new pin number. You all this new stuff. Sometimes Caesar let them allow them to use what they already have and so it was sort of both. We have more things than they expected. Amazon's system wasn't really built to take an existing system. Like what we had at the same time. You know there are some things we have to come up to snuff on on voice engagement right conversational banking conversational. Technology is different than a menu driven technology in Kelly. Had said we're reiterated extending what we're doing on the voice baking side telephone banking but it's extending the feature functions but the way you engage with it is different. So there's a learning curve on our side to to make sure you have the conversational structures. Correct your engagement that so it was both sides. This is very typical of bringing in a new technology into an existing market place. That has its own high level of rules right. There's a high bar a ruling compliance and you have another system as brand new that is trying to create rules of compliance rights. And so we put those two together in. This is typical this. This is exactly how it was with mobile APPS. And I think that's what you're gonNA see. It's GonNa have that ramp right now. It's early in the curve for adoption and over time as voices getting across all these other channels and the software whether it's Amazon or Google on all these channels whether it's in your smart tv or on your phone it's going to accelerate. The friction is gonNA remove overtime when it sounds like they would have lended as as much from the experiences as you guys have. That's going to streamline things for everyone the projects that come along in the future exactly my question around that was about the the iteration of this is kind of new and we got a lot of the ground truth from the feedback from users and looking at the data of course financial transactions quite private and a bank's not going to want to publicize those will hand them over to supplies in the same way as maybe health data. So how did you get that signal back? That's a find out whether the user interaction was working. And how did you guys work together to to solve that problem like you said? One of the biggest concerns with this was around security and especially traditional banking where we're not always the the ones that are willing to step out and do things so from especially from security and privacy perspective because that is paramount to who we are as an institution to ensure that we are taking care of our customers and making sure that their information secure safe and that they are comfortable not only them but then also with a stacey said our regular regulators and auditors and those things pile up over and over again to make sure that that we have the right security protocols in place and so that was some learning curve for both US and Amazon that we all had to mature and continue to grow as far as making sure that we have the right information we partner with our processing companies Jack Henry and associates and so they do a fantastic job of having a pathway for us to get to our information securely safely as well so with our connectivity points between in a calm and Jack Henry that is very tightly controlled. We manage it with monitor it. We reporting we have security protocols that are in place between all of us to ensure that is safe for our customers. Massoni went to Jack Henry Do. Where did they come into this? Yeah Sure Jack. Henry is the company that houses our customer information as a whole and so they have an open banking platform that we're able to connect to and be able to partner with the fantasy like the end of the world to be able to safely securely have access to their customer account information you can anonymous data and Sharon Saddam. Okay right so there's a way to share it without revealing the details of the people. Are I in this talk about the voice banking how it's being used and I saw one example on your website believe about bank independent Kuzma? Who's using the Alexa skill right now? It's eighty nine years old. That's fantastic Zurich. Tell us about that. And the the interest made on his or her life. Sure after we went live with this we were live several lines and we really wanted to see who was using and honestly we knew because this is new technology. We weren't expecting a hockey stick type of acceptance and usage of this tool out of the gate and so it has been a slow growth and kind of leveling but again we wanted to be out there early and this is exactly why because you know. The mission of our institution is to make a positive difference in people's lives and this is a prime example. Where we've done that. So as we begin to look one of our most active users we reached out to Kim specifically into. Can you tell us why you're using it? And the first words out of his mouth. Were you changed my life. And which can you explain that in so this gentleman was eighty nine years old? He had macular degeneration so from his perspective. He couldn't really manages finances. Just because of the vision issues vision issue. And so now he's like you now have control of my personal finances again by doing voice banking and he can control that here. What's going on? NBA championship odds: Lakers still lead pack despite quiet trade deadline; Clippers improve chances

"Did you make of the two teams? How do you feel about them currently? Wow Oh well I I I I stand by. I think the clippers have long time then the favorites. I think the way that the Lakers have played This season and how they've consistently consistently performed Dwight Howard has been a pleasant surprise. I think Kyle Kuzma with the injury to start off the season. He he hasn't really gun the things that they would like. These are very good contributor. But I think that the clippers with all the management and and Paul George Missing Time and some Injuries and you look at where they are there. Second Right now and for me. I think that the clippers are the best team right are they. Are the team that come at at the end of the day you're going to have to go through in order to try and win a championship. Even though the Lakers have the best record and it looks like the Lakers are GonNa have home court At at this point in time if it were to start today I still feel like you know the clippers. The team that you're GONNA have to be in order to win the whole thing Richard. How all surprising that? The rockets decided to go full monty. There Bison not only are we gonNA run small lineups. We won't even carry a gun on the roster who would allow us to run any sort of other type lineups. Well it's a at this point in time. If you look at Dantonio you look at Dell Maury winter. We've we've had they not gone all in on whatever they believe right. What do they have to lose? They've been criticized up and down and make pulled off some pretty impressive trade getting in Chris. Paul getting in Russell Westbrook. They've done some really really good things to pair With with James Harden James Harden continuingly improved his offense of game. But it's like I'm not surprised anymore. It's like they look at their team. And they're like the way we're structured right now. We're probably up for a first or second round loss What can we do to really shocked at? How can we try and change things up? And they made them moved. ooh They believed that adding Covington and giving up Cappella and they just WanNa go all small ball kind of like what you would see from the Golden State Warriors for for a time So I'm not surprised by it. I think that you know everyone out. There is fighting for their job. I think Daryl Morey I think I think You look at Dan Tony think these guys are low key fighting for their jobs so if they know that first or second round loss possibly could be the end to their tenure. So why not try and go all whatever you believe. Richard Jefferson hanging out with this year. Makes you check them out today. Five o'clock Indiana Toronto. ESPN mean is also in studio with us as well by the way. You're listening to Los Angeles. So Richard Let me ask you this about what Brian said yesterday specifically in regards to that game like he he kind of talked about their lack of focus on defense. Where do you think the Lakers can get better on defense? Can they do it. Internally you have again you have some talented players and I. I always proceed very cautiously when you have a game like that and everyone wants to run and talk about it and break it down like look Russell. Westbrook had a great great game. Houston shot the ball extremely well if you send shot the ball like that against anybody on any given night. They're going to win that game Even Dan Tony said in his interview. He's like hey I understand what we're doing is different It all has to do with whether or not these guys will buy in and tonight was a big step that they would have gone out and got him blasted in a D had forty five right an twenty six against them. Everybody in that Houston Rocket Locker. Room would be questioning. What's what's going on? They would be getting murdered by the media. It would be going crazy but they were fortunate to get that win in La which very hard place to play and now. Everyone's questioning the Lakers. Well look I believe this. I believe that the Lakers are great regular season team. I think that last night they should've stayed with the White Howard. You can't Anthony Davis if there's a difference between being like having your numbers be dominant and actually being dominant and physically dominant. Anthony Davis just. Wasn't that Anthony. Davis Davis is not an again. I hate to talk about. What player isn't because he is a million great in every anybody would want them on their team but he's not a guy that just going to low post blocks doc band you up and then go and shoot a five-foot Hook shot and don't because he worked position that's why he runs the floor so well so he can get that early early post up in a great position and it's harder to guard but in the postseason when it becomes half court basketball? That's what the Houston Rockets are depending on when it becomes a half half halfcourt basketball game and they can spread it out and just have Russell James go to work and kick it out to more shooters so everyone had their theory. It's just a matter of WHO's going to be able to impose their will Richard One of the things that That's happening for the Lakers. This year is that when Lebron plays the offense is is tremendous right there. They're one of the best offensive teams out there. But when he doesn't play when he's not on the floor I should say that offense becomes very anemic even when Anthony Davis was an. MVP candidate in his own right is on the floor. And it reminded me of the years in In Cleveland the three years that Love Irving and and Lebron were together. When Lebron didn't play that team wasn't just not a great team not wasn't just a below five hundred they were awful and given that you've been on the inside you've been on a Lebron James Team? Can you explain to me how that is. How talented players? Once you remove this one guy turned into a bad basketball team. I think it's it's style of play. It's continuity I think that's something that it's it's weird because Lebron James is always you typically been healthy. She's always played in seventy five or more games except for last year due to the groin injury. So it's like this is the guy that each up eighty ninety percent of like court time. So you're what what you're really referencing is like non-core time and even then comes the postseason. This is a man that's going to go from playing thirty seven minutes a night thirty eight. He's going to go up to like forty three forty four minutes a night. 'cause there's no bags and there's no practices for most of his energies just using games. So what you're really talking about is how do you play Good Basketball for eight to ten minutes in it for twelve minutes and that can be tough to find that continuity. It's tough because it's such a small sample size right and yes it's a small. It's a large sample size is when you look at how often it happens. But it's very very difficult for coaches to be like how we're GONNA play for this ten to twelve minutes when the broncos out of the game because when he's in the game everything's everything's perfect. Everything's runs great room and I think that's the challenge. The coaches have a lot of people are talking about Darren. Collison coming in and then interrogating him bats. That's the challenge and it's and it's been a long time. The bron James Challenge is how do we play that 'cause they had with Kyrie Kyrie is a great score but it's like when Bronco go out of the game game that was an opportunity for Kyrie to really explore and really play his game and get his rhythm will Kyrie's rhythm might not necessarily be the rhythm for the the other guys on the court and I thought knock on Kyrie. If just like broad had the ball handed Kyrie was basically a two guard. Then Kai Bronco Ga.. The game in Cairo would become the point guard. But this was an opportunity to get going scoring and maybe throw the ball into Kevin Love. which when you had the surrounding guys there wasn't an offense? There wasn't a continuity beauty for us to play through so there's good still Lebron and there's challenges to Lebron. I wouldn't even call that bad but I think this final stretch is going to be key but understand. He's going to play more minutes in the postseason. So you can't really say like hey we need to figure out what we're GONNA do when he's out of the game because that's just realistically he's going to be in the game Ormeau. Richard Jefferson with this year on the Sodano show on ESPN. This actually leads perfectly into my next question. This is good chemistry right here. These three guys. So Rondo they have Rondo. Problem is a net negative player. He's been that for seven seasons now but to a means point it falls off a cliff. He's usually usually the guy that has to lead that second unit. I don't think they can afford to play him anymore. To be honest with you what do you do if you do agree with me. What do you do with Ronda how do you how do you manage? Rondo at this point Well I I think there's there's two components there's an on the court and then there's a locker room right. There's a locker component and it's like a like say what you want about Rondo. He's a very dynamic guy on and off the court so you WanNa make sure that Rondo understands what your is your team goals are. I think Rondo is in a very different space. And he was years and years ago whether it was in Dallas when I played with them or leaving Boston I think Rondos one of those guys that in this moment right here they need to find. I I think that's Darren Collison being. It's so big the need to find one more guy that can compliment that second unit And so yes do but you gotta look at what can you do. He's a net negative guy adding Rondo very very rare. But no one really questions Kenney still play is he's still a contributor when you're just looking at the second unit and when I tell you that the six years prior that's one thing this year I I mentioned it early.

Lakers Lebron James Clippers Rondo Anthony Davis Basketball Darren Collison Richard Jefferson Russell Westbrook Rockets Richard One Houston Paul George Kyrie Dan Tony Espn James Harden Dwight Howard Kyle Kuzma Davis Davis

"Head at the rim. Weird weird guys. It's a fear of this now. We brought this up multiple times with different athletes. The most famous being hung to me is Dominique Wilkins on a breakaway. I believe it was an all star game or something. I'm not sure it was he. But when he got hung on dunk it was over after that. And that's we always talked to Lebron let that hasn't happened. He hasn't had that Dominique Wilkins. Also now now his career is not Break down the ball slipped. As long as the lift was still there off Slip Bay Fine Fall Slip Knot for even half a second. It went and through your mind. So does it happen because everything else was perfect off slip you can tell. He didn't get get the grip on it that he needed. I agree I just when I saw it. I are Mr Director Man in the truck. Let's go see what to see. How high off the ground he was he was fine? He was in the theater to see it happen. The thing that I watch the game last night I didn't like is I did not like Deville Geese Block and the reason I didn't likes block is because I've been there before I've blocked. Somebody's dunk in my fingers have got paid up against the yeah see. I didn't like that I'm like well. That's guys mail so you get hurt. That's why guys bail when you see a guy coming down the middle like that. It's like to your point. It's might be able to to miss a playoff game. Maybe but I'm not gonNA break my my hands start if it gets picked up against Iran. Let's say cheese Google no days. You weren't really worrying about planet making a plan the ball you just make a plane a chest come down saying you ain't doing today Sir. Nothing kills a good block block. Jail also had a really bad foul later in the game on Aaron Gordon when Darren Gordon was going up and he had a free run at it and this is he's going to get it. He kinda shoved him. In the hips not quite eighty style but that Aaron Gordon got redirected in the air like down uninstall was able to finish that due to a freak. The disappointing thing about Aaron Gordon is that when you saw that dunk contest with him. Zach Levine you. Just figure he's going to be the next. That's Vince Carter. Had to get a couple of things going. But he's been on the League for a while. Now he's like Larry Nassar junior fantastic. Hobbs really you know can be an exciting player Royer for a game or two Hasn't forever reasons polished his game enough so they can be performed on a consistent basis. I'M NOT GONNA lie Z.. I had not thought of the name of Larry Nance junior since the second he left he left. And I liked Larry Best Dunk. Oh for sure for in a Laker uniform. Hundreds author of all time songs have been writable. But that that whole Larry Nance Julius Julius randle and Jordan Clarkson those guys they were like hey these guys are coming along. No they're not and and this was one of these things you know. A straight go straight strays. Julius randle cannot be an important part of a championship. Team is absolutely here. Here's a question. Were you if Julius randle was in the Kaku position nope would you feel comfortable. No why not. No because his his deal you can't shoot food. His deal is he's strong as hell he can get to the hoop he likes to lose tight. You know what he's like he's like mantras. Herro Lubis shorter. But all of mantras Harold barrels buckets are coming right into pay. Julius randle is not as good as mantras here no I said he's not as good but all the pain and every single time I'd seen. Judaism is building since he laughed laughed. He's putting in work he doesn't give a damn who's on. I'm Jay Z.. Maybe the ultimate guy that's going to put up numbers on bad teams. He may go through his whole career. Career giving you twenty and ten you know the walking double double and his team's win thirty one games year. No matter where he goes that it feels like he's because he's the guy who's expected to be the number one and number two my thing is what if that's number three of all those guys and let's throw the Angela Russell. The only guy that was here that has gone. It's like you know what like a do over on that. I'm glad that's all of them. All the handle. No Larry. Nance Clark's is what I will say de Ngelo Russell. Oh for what they need from him when they drafted him for he still hasn't demonstrated he can do which has lead. We always knew he could shoot. We don't know if he could lead and where he was drafted for was to be a leader. Julius randle was a curiosity out of Kentucky because he was athletic he was big and he's strong and and to me for the most part he's fulfilled what we thought he would be a miniature version of whatever bruising power four from the nineties. That's what he is. So how many other guys you mentioned in I think the question is still out there. Even though Brandon Ingram has been out there for a while we still need to see what that's going to be 'cause he's still gotta eat some Food New Orleans. I mean come on. You didn't go like Victor Oladipo that just took a long time and now Victor Depot Depot is now an all star but I feel like he needs to be with a team. That's really good. There's a reason I did not put him or Lonzo who well you know. I'm his biggest fan in that rundown because of what they got coming back the other way they did the idea of Brandon Ingram and Lonzo ball and Josh Heart a hundred times out of one hundred. Do you do that deal. I know there's other guys there's a little give and take some of these things that you could either. You could unwind that those other guys though the price that they got coming back thousand one. Let's talk about what we saw. Last night the Lakers dropped their first game of the season against a team. That's under five hundred anything there other than you know what it's a long season and you're going to drop onto a bad team once that's in walks. It sure didn't feel like it to me. No I it's like once in a while you drop one to thirteen team. Plays better to get your best punch because they know who you are other other than I would have liked to have seen obviously for the eight hundred ninety ninth time. Coups become something other than what he did last night. That's the only thing I'm I'm fine with it again. There's one of the things they're they're they're coups pieces number one for sure. The other piece with the Lakers. I think we'll talk about all season. Long is their health the if it and their health specifically with those two guys Lebron so far has been healthy. Anthony Davis has not shoulder. Early back in Gluteus maximus contusion or whatever it is the health. It's Kuzin health all those three guys. All those three teams have had health issues. You know bledsoe talented years. He has health issues at times. He was out of the game. That the Lakers played the Milwaukee. That's their number. Three guys. Sometimes number two depending upon how the mattress Khris Middleton. Obviously we know what they're going through with Celek with the clippers you know Kawhi his knee Paul George new shoulder there in and out of lineups as well so our concern with health is concerned the other teams have as well. So I'm not freaking out about that. I'm only freaking out about okay. So if we lose this piece do we have another piece in place that can help us stay above water. And and that's the reason why I keep repeating the need to have another playmaker. Who's a scoring threat? Maybe Darren Collison is the answer. Maybe you can Okeydoke Phoenix into getting Devon Booker because the numbers match in terms of rookie salaries. I doubt it. But maybe there's been whispers about Derrick rose to where these balling in Detroit right now. That's interesting that's interesting. But Lebron retreive retreive experimented with Cleveland. And it didn't work out now. I don't know if that if it didn't work out. Because of the responsibilities they were hoping dirt roads were half are different now. I don't know no but it didn't work out the first time. I'm not quite sure about going at it again. Next for the Lakers or the rockets on Saturday and the rockets are not playing great basketball. I think they're five and five in their last ten they. They've they've lost last night to the Portland Trailblazers. They're not doing what they've done last couple of seasons where they're just stacking. They're they're fine. They're in fifth place in the Western Conference. But if the Lakers go out there on Saturday against the rockets and look a certain way of Kyle Kuzma in particular looks a certain way because they figured it'd be games up and down a bunch of shots jots with rockets go you would think that would favor Kuzma. And the way that he wants to go Sumati dozen go again assumed Kyle Kuzma gets the minutes and the touches in. It's still not there. Does it accelerate the process. Chur feels like 'cause that answer to the question of WHO's the third guy. It's still a huge empty spot. We just don't know no you you don't know and key I would say that win or lose. The Houston Rockets. Aren't the the not the test to me. You gotta into the next game against the clippers. No the test. It's a test because we've lost eight games this year. In out of the eight we lost. We lost costs seven seven seven seven. Two one seven two powerful type playoff team so that that to me is like every time you run up on eighteen. That is a qualifying team. You drop it very well. That's not true. Well no not every time you're Levin seven awesome. I'm they're beating them to know that okay. She's they beat the mavs three times I get it. I understand but I'm saying they've got a number of losses. It's a quality teams on their resume in short periods. That better for you. So why. Why is the bellwether for the performance of Calcutta well every games games because because because just like popsicle over there saying is that every game is and he needs to show that he below. Hello I don't learn anything from Kyle Kuzma going off against the team known for not playing defense. I learned something from cockles and going off against team. That's defensive-minded like the clippers. If Kaku goes and drops twenty five to thirty points on the Houston Rockets. We don't get anything from it's not it's not necessarily whether he goes off or not. It's not whether or not he gives us twenty five or thirty five to me at least to what I'm looking at. It's whether or not the guy looks comfortable in that role whether we're talking about him with the rhythm all the time that unless you get if you get twenty shots okay. Fine but what does it look like when you get ten. What does it look like when you get twelve that even if you go if you if you get your twenty five on ten or twelve shots now? We're talking about something. Did you get your twenty-five on twenty five shots. Now we're talking about some. It's just agree I get it. It's just a volume. Ah That's what I was trying to explain you earlier about. When you try to dupe me? And tell me he doing other things two different in in in he was brought here to do all this stuff. No he was brought to score. He said well he didn't get a lot of shots. We put up nine shots man. Give me seventy nine now. You can still get your I. I hear what you're saying. It's just in watching coups you historically. If he doesn't shoot the ball well. Nothing else is being filled in the stats box either. Last night he didn't shoot the ball but he found other ways to contribute. And that's what you want not just out of your one two or three. That's what you went out of any guy who was on the floor that into your shot now falling or if you're not getting the number shush you're accustomed to getting what else you do in dog to help the team win. Last night. He found the way to try to help his team win. Yeah you WANNA knock down L.. More shots for sure. But I'm not going to dismiss seven assists. Because that means Johnny's helping his team I find ways of school. I think rob Pelinka in Frank Vogel and Jason Kidd must mention that names. Will they all want to see him. Score points yes date cool to get the rebounds and Google says but I promise you they want him to knock down I I so if the rockets are not the litmus test is the road trip the Litmus test because you look at the road trip you got a five game trip. Houston good team. Your Team Boston very good team. Same as the dice tasks. Okay you've got the Knicks who are terrible. You've got the nets who were kind of all over the place and then you got Philly embiid's hurt so that's GonNa be a little different but philly's good team got good. You've got Al Horford. You've got Tobias Harris Gift Simmons. You did that. That is still a good test. I think then you come back. And you play the Clippers your first game back back on January twenty eighth these next six games if one of them is not necessarily the okay. This is the one that's GonNa tell me. I think these next six games are gonNA tell you exactly whether or not not he's going to be able to fill that role you think..

Why won't NFL teams hire minority coaches?

"Three head. Coaching spots have been filled this week. But none of those. Three coaches were minorities while the Rooney rule has been followed. Some are beginning to believe that minority forty candidates are not being taken seriously for the open jobs and anonymous African American. NFL Assistant Coach said that the League has quote finally shown. It's not the place as for black men to advance. It's ridiculous it's disgusting. We can sell tickets and make plays but we can't lead Shannon. Why isn't the Rooney rule role working? Well I think until skip this diversity thing yeah. Diversity is a great great to talk about but until you get someone the leadership position that says you know what. I don't just want to talk about it. I want to be about it so until you get older ships that actually wants to put some substance to this and this is what that you're GonNa get now if the general manager there's one general manager that's what minority and that's CR- Chris greer in Miami. There's zero owners that are it shouldn't say minorities. I guess because shot con radically a minority. But when you get the gist of what I what. I'm trying to say until leadership gets more diverse. You're I'm not gonNA have a more diverse hiring background skills. This was puzzling to be. Is that Eric. Enemy has the exact Zac job that Matt Nagy had negative and call plays any recall. Please man they can get the job. Doug Peterson sedinko plays true. Recall to play around Rivera's on but Ron Rivera was not the defensive coordinator in Philly. He he became a D. coordinator what's he got to the D. Coordinator in Chicago. You are you in San Diego. Yeah but he got his getting these enter coaching tree. Eric B enemy has the exact same job. That Matt Nagy Doug Peterson has and he's not getting opportunity is spirit but this. I don't really think that they go into it. Unless you incentivize this. Okay if you how minorities kill we maybe you have an extra three to five five dollars and cap space. That's the only thing that resonates with these owners because I get it skipped if I spent three billion. Let's just say I spent three billion dollars for a restaurant run. You Go tell me what the hell I need to cook. Cook whatever I WanNa Cook it there. And that's how they look at it. Jerry Jones spent money for this. This this mind you oh tell me why should get killed but but this notion that Oh and they brought Muhiba Marvin Marvin Lewis. He brought him in to to do that. Situation wasted the same with the giants the giants they had irebi enemy. They what Joe Judge Chris Rashard Rashard. Excuse me Chris Restoring. Yeah so now. Now we're down to one. Vacant Cleveland Reunion. I'm talking about how good already know. Angle get no frills JAYCO network skill. He already interviewed there. So you would now now the take my name off the leader and solid rubber solid. Take my name off the list. Because he's GonNa get Mad Max two and a half years if you're lucky that seems to instead that's all Jimmy can stomach now if you look at it they keep these. You look at Mike Patton. You look at all the guys they've had and these guys have had I think. Hugh Jackson stayed the longest at two and a half years. But everybody's been two years the list huge only two and a half two and a half long but you get you get these other guys you get pretty kitchens and you look at patent and you look at a I forget. Just give all these one year jazz. WE ACHE AAC CLEVELAND. That in Cleveland of the North this skill ruining rules a joke. I get it. You know minorities Cadillac. An affirmative action thanksgiving. Yeah but in -firmative action. I guess it's federal dollars. You'RE NOT GONNA get the money if you don't do this. The NFL is a is a private entity. So what can you do. What Ki- what can you give? Nfl Do not the so. I have been tracking this for a long time because one of my best friends is John. Wooten who is now the retired leader of the Fritz Pollard. Alliance and he was the driving force behind instituting the Rooney rule as I hiring practice in the national shirow all league and John's point from the start was I just need interviews because if a young assistant coach gets interviewed a couple of times times it gets reported in his name gets out there and if another owner sees that name enough over maybe a couple of years hiring cycles else maybe an owner says chee that guy. He's getting a lot of interviews. Maybe I should bring in. Maybe I should be more open minded to him. But if you're GONNA curse because if I get a a lot of interviews and I'm not getting hired was wrong why here the me getting hired cave liability with that. But John's point in the end was I'd rather have interviews than not have interests. Okay okay so let's go back to the stat that I use last week. The Institute of Diversity and Ethics In sports twenty nine thousand nine racial and gender report card for the National Football Bali. The League got actually an a plus for hiring of color. Assistant coaches right a sit a plot. Oh that's progress right. It got a deep loss for hiring head coach of Color White eight-plus assistance d-plus head head coaches. There's a big disconnect there and it shows you. That owners are fine. Oh hire two or three black assistant fine with that but nope nope. I don't want to head coach to be black. Right gives quite to the restaurant you can cook. You'll be in the bank but Michelle not the bridge. I roll up now okay so when I texted back and forth last we can use this last week of John Wooten just beside himself now. He is devastated by this this development his point was that only one. GM Chris Grin Miami. Point out is use. John's word heartbreaking because it could start with the GM right a black GM of or of color could be more open minded to say to the owner. Hey listen this guy is really bring him in. Let me let me introduce him to you right. The conduit to the owner can be stronger. Iran have I don't know six or eight black. GM right right. We've had them around the league four or but all of a sudden there's a dearth to rape Barma with Barma within Cleveland. He'd Gone Rick Smith who I know very well be in Denver. He interviewed for The Washington. Ashington John Daniel Snyder said head coach could be a head coach. Basically general manager after the Washington like who are the head coaching after the draft. The General Mattis. Okay so sometimes there is group think or shink sheep among the owners because in the end they do want to win right. And if they're looking around the League league and that black head coaches really successful they say well I want one of those. I want to go that direction right well. There was one black head coach who started to have success late in the year ear and he happened to be allied with Chris. Clear in Miami and Brian Floors off the Patriots. Well they started out all time badge for about what seven seven games fifty. Nine seven opening renders and then they basically it felt like they turned the whole roster iside down which they needed to do and then all of a sudden the last nine games they go five and four they upset the eagles and then they went to foxborough and just basically ended the season. I thought for the new New England Patriots playoff teams right. Okay so all the sudden Brian floor floor with the help of Chris greer. They're having big success. It looks like it's headed in the right drug us us but it wasn't enough of a splash to create momentum through the hiring process and right because John Wooden again texted me back with so many names he said we have so many in the pipeline. Who already started with Eric? B Enemy and Chris Rock. I think Chris Shaw Bad Year on defense but when I watch him interviewed when I watch his body language. It's a stunt man he's he's got. CEO Written all over him. He looks like a commanding officer to me. There's not enough black head coaches skip. Because because you look you look at Mike McCarthy guest job he hires the guy that gave him his opportunity coordinator fifteen years ago so you see the circle. We'll skip once you become a head coach. What do you do you go to the combine? You go to say elbow you got your drake. He goes to the coaches meeting and Yada Yada Yada and to connect with the boom boom boom right right. So if I'm not in that Lou. How do I get into loops? Because a rid of staff they said eighty percent of the jobs are never posted so in other worth people get hired somebody a friend or family member is not what you know who you know There in live the roof. It does house so to finish John. Bruton's list of pipeline candidates being AMEE. Chris Rashard Robert Sala. He threw Jim Caldwell on his list. Is Jim Colwell was highly successful zestful. Jim called wheel lost his jaw. Going nine and seven in two years Matt Patricia has nine total win and he's still got a job now he goldwell still doesn't have another job he in four years. He went to the playoffs twice in the last year he went nine and seven and they said well you know we need to move in a different direction. uh-huh and the guy that's replaced has yet to win nine total games in two years. Do you still own a still on the clock. Okay Steve wilks got one shot in time. I'm one year in Arizona and he was gone. He's now the defensive coordinator in Cleveland which probably didn't help his cause this year that much but I don't hear his name no in Cleveland right right on the list. And then there's Terrel Austin who's young stripes potential star coach and John Wootton into his list with Marvin Lewis who he thinks deserves a second shy right. Okay so Jerry. Jones did observe in qualified for the Rooney rule by bringing in. I Marvin Lewis. I think Jerry was shrewd operating waiting there. Because he didn't pick a young like like Chris Rashard type interview him because of Jerry had interviewed a young potential upcoming head. Black coach right. There's more pressure on Jerry. What was wrong with right? What's the problem exactly? He went to Marvin Lewis because he thinks Marvin Lewis is kind of old news right right. He got his longtime time shot in Cincinnati. Listen I still think Marvin did a good job job seriously. Yes okay he went. Oh and seven in the playoffs but still it was Andy Dalton Alton you re you with covering the NFL and you remember what Cincinnati before. Marlene got there was John. Carter number one overall. You Got David Cleland with the fourth. The fourth picket. You got big day to day and Wilkerson purse around the second pick in the draft year after year after a year people. Forget what I know. Marvin didn't win a playoff game. But they weren't even getting close to the playoffs for Marvin got there. No so I was disappointed in Jerry because you know my heart Hartz. I'd love to see Jerry Jones higher black head coach and I think I probably won't live long enough or Jerry will live long enough to know.

"Us like it in the Lakers Christmas Day loss to the clippers kacoos trainer was critical of Lebron posting on social media. That quite skillset all set was sharper than lebrons. WHO said he can't control what another man says and that his relationship with Lebron is great when asked about the trainers comments? Lebron said quote. I've never met the guy I don't know the guy I could care less about. The Guy Shannon is a big deal or no big deal I mean may I think the thing is that for me is not a big deal for Lebron is not a big deal. I think the thing is that coups trains with the guy. And and and coups Miller teammate. And Lebron James and so that I can see the connection that people would wanNA make. But here's somebody that's cloud chasing for me my trainer you. You don't need to talk about somebody somebody else's about what they got going on. You worry about what I got scared. Everybody knows if you put Lebron They James Name in anything is going to grab. Pension's going get clicks. It's going to get so much. Okay let let me read this. Let me open up. This policy was going on. Well Hawgood argue anymore he trained KUWA- was wildly. Guadagno with you you that good thing he had him on an Aau team the he coached later. I think almost thirty years old you left at least at the bare minimum a decade ago scale. Look Man. Look Kawai immensely talented. If you want to say why I look better than Lebron Kuwa- okay. Fine what why you gotta highlight someone else by taking a shot at someone else I. I've never understood that. Skip if you a six foot tall be six foot tall. Why are you trying to be sixteen about standing on someone else builders that would guy trying to do but go try to get some other players too good to train somebody south basically? That's what you're GONNA do. Train Highschool got eight. You guys. You Ain't get no. NBA Talla. Lebron worried about it right now. Thirty four nine nine. We're about to be forty tastes entity Gilbert you know what that may be a mythical surmountable uncatchable number two thousand points. Ten thousand five ten thousand if and when it's all said and done go james will stand on the Mountain Olympia. And he'll look to his lipped and he looked to his writings bar. You can see and they'll be not a main incite you just change the subject from you. Couldn't and what did this is a huge deal. You know it and when a trainer trainer speaks for a player it's like a relative speaking for player you know and I know that the assumption is you got it from the player right. Some some of this came from Kyle Kuzma so the only way how Kouzmouk was able to fix this in my opinion and I'm just shooting from a distance on this one. He had to go to Lebron and say I have fired him. That's the only way this would were about to say. How much longer do you guys GonNa be training counties all right? We'll it has to have ended the relationship between Lebron and Kaku will be strained going four. We'll see come trade deadline. Well you could speculate at this got kyle trade right and I still say. He's the closer for this team. So you better not trade him.

"No. Then the Lakers, actually have them over a barrel, and don't need to give them every last thing that they ask for you may say, well, the Lakers kept Kyle Kuzma well in that case. And they don't need another superstar, so he shouldn't have to give up the four million, if it was that to keep Kyle Kuzma, and he could be the third all star. Then you've got that guy already now flesh out the roster with twenty three mill. But if Kyle Kuzma is not that guy that what did you really get in the deal? And in that case why should they have to pay a tax for you not doing a better deal you're wrong. And here's why you're wrong because of couple of things that you pointed out, Anthony Davis made it very, very clear. There was only two destinations. So basically, you compromise the Lakers leverage, whatever leverage, they could have had because you could talk about the Lakers playing with house money because the pelicans would have won squeezed. But the fact that the man is David Griffin wasn't squeezed at the end of the day. You've got until October to make a deal, you know, to try to get him and onto another team make sure he doesn't show up in training camp on September rather, make sure he doesn't show up and training camp with your team. All right. So the Lakers would be squeezed that was.

"This is not true. He's not hold the mix. Crucial flag on every. He missed a missed a crucial free throw at the end. Okay. Missing cruiser free end of the game. He he threw picking up. Now, he had five turnovers picking up. Picking was. I get all that. I'm just saying I can't do every damn thing. No. But yesterday he did not have a good game. But I don't think he's just talking about yesterday. That is. Okay. So just yesterday agree who's he talking about when he saying if you're still distracted by this you need to come in and say I want who's he talking about he's talking about. So we're talking. Talking about the other veterans with one year that we aren't contracts. Brandon Ingram, a heart. Utah whoever's left us. That's it. Those are the only in inch and Kyle Kuzma been playing. Well. Yeah. To suicide only. Josh or from what from what we see remember Travis. We we only we only view from our vantage point, which is television or at the game. And we don't know what's actually being saved it in a locker rooms was actually being said on the court on the side. And we don't know we just know that they're knocking down threes. And it looks like okay. That's a pretty performing. It's pretty good performance. But we don't know all the little parts that that they're talking about. Whether it's the Brian James standing there at the underneath the basket when somebody's damn near half court Putin at three and he's just looking then he turned to the bench puts his hands up. It makes it looked like to us that that's his man when it truly is a zone defense from what I can see in at the same time. Everybody thinks him not holding his end of the bargain on the defense van. It's it was a really telling comet when it came how it because you don't. It doesn't feel like you're going to say something about like that about an older player. Like that that these guys have been around that that did that felt like it was directed. And I don't I I would have heard that come it would've made more sense to me a month ago that comment would have made more sense to me when the Lakers were going through that trade stuff when even earlier in the season whenever it was like, hey, how do I play with? Lebron? Do I do this? Do I do that? And you're trying to fill your way through it. That would. But at this point, look Brandon Ingram Kyle. Kuzma, the last couple of games have been the most consistent performers that they've had. Coups causes. Brandon Ingram stats from the previous game were somewhat paddock because it's all ready a blow out and he's getting garbage buckets at twenty nine points..

"Know the idea that holograms are frozen is just technology problem. You certainly could make a hologram. That was updating the information on the surface and therefore moving in time. So it doesn't have to be frozen to be hologram, but it does have to be two dimensional and nonetheless appear three dimensional. Why can't they be a three dimensional hologram of mental space? That's. The whole game is one dimension less. Yes. It could be there's definitely before dimensions. Well risk in one time. Yeah. So there go back on us on that one. I'm not gone back in. But there is some confusion about that time dimension, but whether it behaves as a space dimension it clearly does too. Extent, it doesn't because I can turn left, and right, but I go space car Car has. has. They can't go forward and backward in time. Right. So I can't I can't both directions mobility in right space. Things in both directions. I can see something to the right, and I can see something to left. I can see something in the past was a light travels across the universe and gets to me. But I cannot see something from the future. So we. Our prisoners of the present forever trapped between a past. We cannot access and future. We cannot see. Usage opening. Music. Okay. So that's cool. So so if we so let's get back to the question. Yeah. If we know this one question could keep us busy the whole time. A hundred percent. If we are hundred percent sure that we are hologram. Should we behave any differently? Who are we are hologram to? Yes. So this is an who's black hole surface. Are we right? So then was people have a harder time understanding in the cosmological context away from the Blackhall. But the ideas the black hole is the terrain on which we learn fundamental thinking. So we should use the lessons that we can only learn their the evidence that only exists there understand the whole universe as a cue. Yeah. As as proxy, right? So then we turn out. We say the universe is expanding rapidly. We have a cosmic horizon. We do we do there is a region beyond which we cannot see as long as universe. Expands at this pace and the lake can never get to race though, it might because the expansion of the universe will will exceed it, shall we are analogous. Kuzma, logically to a black hole inside its it's like an inverted wine, and we're inside the event horizon and their stuff beyond it that will never know about us, and we'll never know about them. And so can we make a holography of that? And then y-. Yes. Can I make a hog Affi of just you? And I see we have so much less information than the maximum. We could pack on us that that's why we haven't tested whether or not we're holographic animals. Be so whole, you know. Biography requires more sophisticated thing than just like printing words in a book, which is not holographic. But it's way less than the maximum amount of information, then you can pack and hologram is an example of packing a lot more. Right. So if you made a human being that was packing the maximum amount of information that they possibly could they would turn into a black hole. You have a really full backpack. He doesn't say you can't have things with less information. That are just not as extrordinary. It just says, that's you know, that's the maximum that we so it's all an illusion. We really are dimensional flipping me out a little bit. Let me just say, and I'm and I'm an Astro visits. So why did you all of a sudden without anybody's permission in this conversation? In Kuwait matter with information, 'cause when I think of matter now trae matter as as a star guy studied stars pack in the matter right to get a black hole right now, you're saying, you're gonna pack information. And you'd get information black hole is at the same thing that the shift that I'm feeling that a learning from other people as well as that matter is just information..

"Kyle Kuzma with our alley. Laforce? Congratulations on the win so many moments in this game of one point game with a minute left. It was the one possession game with seconds left. And then you guys put them away and overtime. Lebron you're without Rondo how did you come up with this team? You know, this is a big time win for us. We've been talking and no no matter what you know, we we stuck together through all the time tonight with indicator of that. So you were down by seventeen early what the conversation like who were the leaders at stepped up and turn this thing around for you guys. Okay. See, you know, they made a lot of big time. No. We just start to our game plan. We knew that, you know, they're struggling three point team. And. Play the percentage. Nice start to the game plan. Great able to creep back in and get a win. So how about you? Yeah. Forty one against Detroit thirty one tonight, you came up big in huge moments. What do you like about your game right now? And we're at that. I'm just trying to get better trying to be more controlled. Obviously still trying to cheat the Baucus Sicily. But I like where I'm at. But I got a lot more room to grow. I'm still working on the Lakers tying a franchise high with nineteen three pointers in route to the victory. Russell westbrook. Three free throws tying the game with three seconds to go in regulation. He finished with twenty six points, thirteen assists and nine rebounds a night ago. The Celtics getting a victory. But it was earlier over the weekend. Kyrie Irving called out his younger teammates. Did he regret it? He called the brought about it. Tell you. What obviously this is something that it was a big deal. Call broad. Apologize for a young player wanted to everything. His fingertips, and I wanted everything to be at my threshold. I wanted to be the guy that let us change leader. I want to be on that and another responsibility being the best player in the world leading the team is something that's not meant for many people. Brown was one of those guys came to Cleveland and tried to really shows show us what it's like to win a championship, and it was hard. Sometimes getting the most out of the group. "Oh you need for the yankees to be relevant in a championship picture and that does about low for me you're right also lead is all you need is the yankees but do you want the red sox with i don't it make it better like them against houston it connects it better when it's yankees better when the yankees going up against houston i i liked it a hell of a lot better than seeing the yankees at fenway park with that cheat right field at anybody could sit back a home run over i'll tell you that much the only reason i prefer that it's because means the red sox aren't having success and i always cheer that but the reality is for baseball fans the yankees at fenway is good as it gets that's actually yankees red sox in the al least winds up some years being better and bigger than the world series it is it is arguably the best rivalry in sports can i like the look with the addition of a rookie class that included lonzo ball and our next guest kyle kuzma the lakers a nine win improvement are preparing for what magic johnson hopes to be a major summer where the lakers will look to add to max for agents on that note we welcome kyle to the show kyle thanks for being with us got us this so all the buzz obviously was about your team taking lonzo ball with that number two pick but you really ended up being the story with the twentyseven pick how much did the hype surrounding him allow you to kind of fly under the radar and really develop as a player and make an impact.
