Wizards send rookie Admiral Schofield down to the G League

"Seeps alongside Brian Scallop Greeny? And we do we officially. We have our guy wizards rookie admiral. Scofield we got the headphone issues. Figured out he's hanging out with us for the next ten fifteen minutes. What's up dude? How we doing? I'm doing you guys doing. We're doing great which great admiral I want to ask you this I you know I followed sort of your G. League stuff like you. You had to pretty great games to start your career. What's it like now? We're talking about this a little bit before when we were trying to figure out the audio stuff. What's it like now? 'cause you go from Tennessee where you're playing a ton the minute you're one of the main guys and I was saying one of the hardest things about going to the NBA. Must be you know you have to make the most a very limited minute stuff that you're not used to and then you go back to the G. League where you're getting all these myths like. What's that transition been like for you? I mean I would. I would say it was easy. It's been tough but I think the biggest thing it's been more helpful than anything Than they would actually shoot the ball in touch the ball and bring the ball of the floor and you know sometimes can get lost in the game and during the little engine you lose flow. You'll slow an offense and things like that but snow problem I think the biggest thing is that you know go to Julie's allow me to see the game slower so allow me to understand. You know where my spots are in our offense because you know the G. League wins the same thing Offensively that we do with the wisdom so I think the biggest thing is just going out there playing with confidence picking my spots learning offense inside and out from different positions. So I know where would it be helpful. So that when I get my time with the wizards that can come in right away. Contribute but be a goddess in the way on offense or you know. Oh Gimme driving lanes or Brad and those guys so just learning just learning the game at a different level of different speed but I think the biggest thing is just you know developing that unger again a hunger to go out and just repairs going floor. So it's been fun My lasy league game. I had like three hundred dollars in the first quarter. I was on pace for a great game and I just I. I was so frustrated also frustrated because you know every time I play with them. I just want to prove a point. You know not not anyone but myself that you know I am who I think I am so I as many great honestly is made solid because the wizards have been doing the best but at the same time you know I just have to knows no pay my dues in. Stay prepared to contribute when My name is golf. Do you notice a difference like the four you go. You play a couple of games. You get back to the wizards in practice. We all three after whatever. It is a big difference. I would say the differences. The efficiency to see guys is every movement they do you know. Gaza is very efficient. They don't waste energy in almost seems effortless for a lot of those guys of just China followed that trend in learn how to slow the game down not ways energy not waste movement but be a smart basketball player on both ends type player. I WanNa be I I WANNA be a two way player. You know I think in this day and age noted Three D. guy is a is a great role for me but I want to develop into two way player like the Co is in the paw. Aw Georgia's I WANNA be great like those guys but you do it in my own way But like I say I'm a winner and I just want to contribute in help the wizards win but also Gogo. Winter Games will You know there was a video that was circulating of John Wall dunking in the pre game the other night and he got everybody excited. Everybody's like when is y'all come back. When are we gonna see this backward again? What can you tell us about sort of his rehab? What minds it is how? He looks like what he's playing in. What's he how has he been like around you to interact with what you like is a guy you know You know coming in. You know you don't know what to expect. What the stars Um? Tom And I can honestly say John. Wall Brad Bill has been very helpful to me and John even more so because you know he just gives you a different personality. John's going to be John Doc He's he's about energy he's like a kid honestly is hilarious but he comes in every day pushes burke in his his rehab is is very entertaining he takes very seriously but our court. He's definitely getting working as you can see. He's dunking game. But no he's taking his time Make sure they fully healed in one hundred percent again his body in his mind riding. He understands you know what's at stake this season in right now. He's just focused on his health No these in the middle of his career and you know you got to take care of his body so I think the biggest right now. I know what's best for John. His body in the wages are on board for him. Hanso baby steps right now but you know his greatest Sam jumping you know making shots knocking down threes in a jam band. John Wall the during the fancy moves in the spans. Different things on finish. Your source is Great Sam. Every day I mean he's a great guy and also you know he's been a great guy on the bench just encouraging urging brad encouraging the young guys it really being a big time leader in our locker room. Put your hat on for me. I just watched row. Gotcha more of the other day Boston. Encargado look what is very Maura. Is he quite Leonard Account. Be Help me understand. Because he looked so athletic so strong and other times. You just like all right and you can't really shoot shoot fifteen third so help me out more he to me you know watching him play he definitely has that is I think I think when you compare players you know these days. It's more of how they play not so of what they do. If you know what I mean so like I would say you know the way ruined removes the way he how efficient he is like when we play it almost looks like he's playing at his own speed because he doesn't wait in as you like I was saying not to have that. Ah Coming into the League is big time. Because guys like Kuwa- Paul George. They had that pace. They had the different speeds home now. Allows them to create themselves and create spacing facing now. He has that tooling rule is actually very very athletic. Our teammates get him a lot about not knocking the ball. You know it's just I think it's a I think for him it he'll get it But he can do ball on me. He's a very he's he's a very smart player you know he doesn't weights Zanji He sees two points two points a Dunkin Alab was equaling him. So he's just he just a basketball player may solid He's so she's very strong stronger than he looks. Definitely looks in he competes. He competes every day just like A. He's a quiet assassin. Honestly but you know you you respect his work ethic in in no way does on the floor and I think you know. We're his talent. He I mean he can he can grow. Who wants to be but I definitely see coli Colli asking them because of the way moves away he plays but no? I'm not a person likes to compare players to other players because I just think you know your your own manual in your own player your Harbor you do. A certain thing should be catered to how you do it in in God. I just don't like putting people in other people's got yours. The wizards are are. You know you guys are like this young team and you got a deal and walls kind of on the bench Isaiah Thomas but you know you're it's become a more of a fun team to watch and I I think a lot of people thought maybe especially the League ask through that are now seeing you know which teams the best wishes vaccine been a really really entertaining team this year. It'll be interesting to kind of see how you guys develop. Because you've got to. I got a good good combination of veteran players and young guys like yourself and Rui. I want to ask you about this too. We opened the show with Carmelo Anthony being back in the league. He signs a a contract with the Blazers and non-guaranteed deal. They need a ton of health kind of in that front court situation. Tell us what you think about about mellow being back in the league like how and how much like Melo is a Guy Outta you looked up to kind of coming up because I'm just talking about this early so many guys seemed to love somebody basketball guys guys in the NBA guys like yourself. That are younger. Really looked up to mellow and and love him as a basketball player. Keith Mellow being back. Leading getting another shot honestly Mid Post game after mellow ever since I was I mean maybe middle-school on me mellow is our main mellows. Everyone loves mellow because of high. Play the game and you know just flavor in the Saudi brought to the game to see him get a deal is just great Deserves the being this league. I think and I think a lot of guys in his league believed that his wailing to see him get another opportunity is always a great great thing And he's a legend to the game. He changed the game in many ways. avenues for different players. That are like him And play the game the way he plays so just to see him. Back in League is Great. Man You know guys like Jamal Crawford. medals guys are adjudged. Think that you know they can still play and I think they deserve opportunities will. Oh dislike. Tom guys opportunity. Not See what he's doing on our team saving is great for us but also is great for him knows confidence for him and not think he's building building day by day and to see what he does and not see him as a veteran. You know trying to help lead. I think that as like that are a great fit. Is League specially with a lot of young gods coming in so this is new you but I've been I've been a part of the. Va Now for about eighteen. Years and rookies never came. animate the type of impact that we're seeing right now that you've ever reason for that what what is. How are these guys coming in and make an impact right off the jump? I mean and I'm not just talking top pits. We're talking second round draft guy these guys to come in and they get a different tapping teams win the reason for that. Is I think if you really look did the tree and you know it's it's a lot of guys that are staying more than one year staying more than two years that are coming in really he make an impact but also guys that are only.

I can't believe it's sacrilegious is black for me for you. You say somebody is better than something to Michael Jordan okay skill. Somebody can be better at something than Michael Jordan. They do look at this, why love coop want, isn't it? They're like this. Does game Netto goofy ass? Let. Mine y'all. Think I'm going to get out there. Trying to get them to give me. With Kawhi Leonard, the Raptors Find Success That Endures

"Coli Leonard is in the conversation of being the best player in the. World. There's no argument about that. Kawhi Leonard is certainly in the conversation. He's I think at this point certainly in the top three he was asked about that after the game. I just said you're the best player to league and he plays into Ronco. What does it feel like to hear that said about you? How do you feel you've established yourself and position to his playoff run? I don't really judge my you know game like the I'm more of a team team aspects with my team is going just wanna win on care about being best player. I want to be the best team always said that. And you know, just before the season when we made the trade massage felt that way about me, he told me how he felt and why he made the trade and, you know, just turning out. It's well now I mean we're in a finals in, we're not done yet. I mean, the trade cannot have turned out any better for really anybody associated with the raptors. I mean, they traded Damara Rosen Jacob poll. I believe that's how you pronounce his last name, if I'm wrong. I apologize in a protected twenty nineteen first round pick up protected twenty nine thousand first round pick protected. They got back awhile internet Danny green. That's a big time trade for the raptors. That was an all in move for the raptors. I think the rafters clearly saw LeBron's gone. You know lebrons part, owner of the rafters. He's out. We got a chance to go to the NBA finals, Boston kind of felt that way Philadelphia kind of felt that way. Mo- walkie. Certainly felt that way there are four teams felt like they had a chance to go to the NBA finals out of the east for the first time in eight seasons. The rafters did it. You made a tough trae at least an emotional decision when it came to D'amoto Rosen who certainly gave you his commitment when it came to wanting to be in Toronto. He got traded. These are the brakes so to speak, he's gone. You got a chance to get a top five player in the league who is healthy and motivated in Colli lynyrd. And he did exactly what he was supposed to do. He filled his end of the bargain. I got you to the finals he got you, as far as any player in your organization is taking you Vince Carter, couldn't do it. Damara Rosen couldn't do it. Colli Leonard did it. So he might not want to have the conversation about best player in the world. And I completely understand. I mean that's a conversation for us in the media. It's a conversation for fans to have. So and he kind of guy. So if you don't want to have that conversation. Fine. I'll have it for you. You were in the conversation for best player in the league, you're in the conversation, you're on the shortlist. There's five people that can make the argument, Katie Steph LeBron kuwa- a Janas. That's it. You just beat honest. You had a chance to go against Steph, if it's still up in the air, it can be undeniable. If you play really wellness NBA finals, and I have no doubts. I've no reason. To believe that he won't play. Well he's played well the last time he was there against the Braun when he was a younger player. Certainly have the experience and this one now not more experience than the warriors but Claus coming in. This is going to put together a really

Kevin Durant is automatic automatic top-four championship contender automatic it. Don't even matter. What the hell you bring with them on on the squad. It doesn't even matter. What the hell you put on on the court with them? They automatically top four contender. And depending on which seem if it's the clippers you favorite to win the championship university the favorite to win at all. Let me tell you something, ladies and gentlemen, there's nothing to discuss if Kevin Durant and kuwa- let it join Doc Rivers in LA, the Los Angeles Clippers win the championship next year. I'm here to tell you that right now, if they would have joined the Brooklyn nets, the Brooklyn nets would likely come out of the east next year. This is what we're talking about here. This how lethal that combination would be. So our talking about Korean Kevin Durant. Maybe we should have been talking about Linnet and Kevin Durant. I'm just saying these are the kind of things that we have to think about as the show progresses. But let me get number one story that I wanted to discuss. And that would be Philadelphia. Seventy Sixers seven foot one center. Joel embiid. Ladies and gentlemen. Let me bring it to you, plain and simple. Let me try to give it to you straight. I think they're Joel Embiid is a star. I think he's a stud. I think when healthy and focused. He's the best big man in basketball. There is no denying it. And and his skills and his potential and what he brings to the table is undeniable, but laser gentlemen is a difference between potential reality as anybody here. Going to sit here and doubt that Nikola Jokic is having a better playoff there. Joel Embiid right now against the Portland trailblazers the Denver Nuggets just tie the series to to Friday night when the different nuggets lost in quadruple overtime. One of the greatest playoff games. We'd ever seen. Nikola Jokic or Nikolai joke. Each did y'all know he played sixty five minutes right in sixty five minutes. And then oh, by the way, they lose. "Well, this is what I believe should happen genie. If it's just me kuwa- letter did help the Spurs win an NBA championship. He was the finals MVP in the year in which they won the championship. He's a two time defensive player of the year. He the two time all NBA player. I believe at the introduction. You cheer? What he was able to accomplish. And help you accomplish while he was there the moment they throw that ball up in the air every time kuwa- touches the ball, you Buddha breaks off it, but you have to knowledge him skip because he did help you accomplish one of your Otomat goals, which is winning an NBA title. He was the finals MVP. He is. He was a two time defensive player of the year. Granted it did not end the way you wanted it to. But it's okay. I'm. Sure, George he'll would've loved to have finished his Koreans San Antonio skip. I would agree with what happened they traded him because they felt that getting watt and what happens when he returns gets cheered. He gets cheered. When he touches the ball. They like him. They love him. But the end result is what I'm talking about. They moved on because they felt they were making the team better. Why says you know, I'm a team team Leonard feel I can be better outside of San Antonio. If so K everybody thinks LeBron for that LeBron made it okay to pack up shop LeBron forces way out of town. No, he didn't do LeBron was he'd do it the right way get the right way. But then they criticize you had a press conference in you headed on national television. "And they didn't call you get those call another thing. I thought it was on a three game losing streak is he a superstar or star. I don't think he's a superstar in between all star star all his next step would be superstar near. Yeah. That's I think one in. We'll get him to the superstar. Am is is probably like six superstars and a tiny NBA. Right. We like LeBron Steph curry Jaanus, Anthony kuwa- Anthony Davis. Those may be the same. What about? What about James harden? Right. Russell westbrook. Russell damn. Maybe there's like nine or ten Swastha based on his plate yet. The superstar go ask superstar. Why wouldn't he be? I mean, he dominates the game against. You could be a superstar and not your you more time off court stuff. Like, he literally literally a basketball player. I guess. That's crazy. All star. And final fighters of ET like God has got a weird because this last year completely that would have been another all star year. And he was in a west. None of them are way. He got that one thing that a lot of players one. That's that ring. Finders? It'd be P E coli the superstar. But I was talking about the off course, I've seen negative spin move PASCAL Griffin might not be better than he might be the key Kia commercials, and he and movies and shit like that. Yeah. He's more will liked by the people outside of basketball. You know, sometimes people got that presence, but basketball. Back to the actual game. And not the celebrity I want to actually question. That's that's why I was happy..

"We'll see as it pertains to what he's going to do, whether he'll go to LA whether he'll come to New York or whether he'll stay Golden State. Let me in kuwa- Linnet the rumors oughta clippers of first on his list, but he definitely wants to come back to LA even while telling everybody we'll see. Let me assure you all the right now. Kowal Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Magic Johnson, and LeBron James get one of those guys. Somebody going to LA. We'll appro deck summer, you bet the house on somebody going to LA LeBron and magic. And they will deserve all the credit for it. So let me tell you ain't no hater rate here. But in that four year period, make no mistake LeBron James has got to deliver a championship. And here's an interesting question that I have all y'all out there. All you basketball fans out there and particularly late good nation stand up late good nations stand up late, good nations, hell up. Listen to what I'm about to ask you. If you have a choice between Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, and Kowa Lenin. Who do you want with LeBron James. Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, koala Linnet. Who do you want. I'm just asking. I'm just asking edited, say ESPN innovates tonight, not three, seven, seven, six baht away. I can pull the same question to New York knick fans because guess what? Whether it's Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, who knows who might be willing to come to New York, particularly if you've got enough cap space for two guys and one of the guys you willing to get to join a healthy Kristaps zingers would be Kyrie Irving, who do you want. These are all very, very compelling questions and very, very relevant because they made up. This is real stuff that's potentially going down that everybody needs to pay attention to say ESPN it's not three, seven, seven, six. That's just one story. Did I'm touching? Here's the other switch it to the National Football League. Jerry Jones owner, president wanna, be coach. Or won't GM wannabe coach for the Dallas Cowboys. Within view and was talking about this no reason to push panic button with the Dallas Cowboys who are now one and two on the season loss to Carolina in the open beat the giants on the Sunday night game, and then turn around and loss last week to the Seattle Seahawks. He says, there's no time to put the package, the panic button satisfied with his coaches, etc. Etc. I'm like, please. It may not be put the pants, but but I know what time it is. You have to push the panic button, but here's what you need to give the damn ball, Ezekiel Elliott, and call it today. Stop making this this, this, this, all about this nonsense drama. Give the damn ball. Does he? He'll Elliott Elliott average nearly eight yards a carry Seattle, Ezekiel Elliott hits holes. He makes things happen. Zeki Elliot can flat out ball. What is the problem? How to hell the y'all know to give Zeki Kelly at the ball. See these are the count. These are the Cowboys that I'm talking about when I say it's an accident waiting to happen. This kind of nonsense that I'm talking about here. Ezekiel Elliott right now. Is averaging five point seven yards per carry and in three games that they've played this year, Ezekiel Elliott who average twenty four carries a game his first year twenty one carries a game in ten games. He played last year this same Zeki Elliott at fifteen seventeen, and sixteen sixteen carries in three games that he's played for the Dallas Cavas. This is what a Dallas Cowboys team. There's no Bryant because you stupidly, let go and you should get pick up the phone call them. If you're Jerry Jones, Stephen Jones, pay a visit to his house, apologize for letting him go bring it back because you don't not only do you not have a number one receiver. You don't even have a number two Pala Joz and bring them. I didn't say apple Ajaz. Like Alec Baldwin's, Donald Trump person nation on Saturday Night Live. I did not say apple, I sincerely apologize. No, I did not say that. I said, Pala jobs. Pala Ajaz to Dez Bryant and get his behind back there. That's what I said. But also in a process gives Zeki Elliott. The damn bowl, you gotta defense for change defense. It looks relatively decent if not downright impressive. Give us Iki Elliott the ball and call it a day..

"We see we see what happened. Rudy, go beer, Russell Westbrook, and you could definitely help a team that's trying to consent for championship, but boggles my Rudy Gobert. You didn't have one. He actually, he could definitely average almost two blocks. Yeah, they're going to his mind to it. I'm sure they're going to run a small ball team where he's at the five. And that's that's gonna lead in four year old yada. Danny green kuwa- Leonard as the wings that that defensively, Larry, Larry, LARs. So that same defensively is going to definitely be there. Yes, searched could up his defense a little bit more because we've seen him be one of the more elite shot blockers in the league. We need to bring back surgery Eat block. a lot together do. Yeah. I had lower on my list. I actually thought I wanted to see him be a twenty point score. This season, Kyle Lowry market calories. Like two episodes go, you lay. They calories that guy. That's what you said. He could still be a twenty point score. He has has to be this year. You Dickey has to be because last year they're very successful Mavericks at sixteen and of coming in and do tomorrow. I'm sure. Yeah, he can make up those points so he doesn't have to. But I mean, I mean, yes, it would definitely benefit a year older, Fred heavily is a year older. To be defensively really good. They were really, they're pretty good last year. They They were were one one of of those those tapes. tapes. Yeah. Yeah. My second do Devon Booker. I want the thing I got famous to solidify want him to solidify himself as a guy who can be a franchise player. Hard was traded to the rockets, whatever. We didn't know he was a franchise player, a guy that could be the best player on contending team right Devon Booker to awry. Every holiday, these players have those moments of arrival. And I feel like Devon Booker had a good season last year, twenty five, four and four almost five or six, which is outstanding for him. And I want to see him make that leap and have that arrival. Especially when I just found out that, you know, we all find out after the tray happened, the sons, you know, they were going for liver Rougier so they they trying to, you know button, not they shirt get big, get busy on us. So with that finally took him twelve years. Oh, and you just got the first overall pick they trying to get serious. So they need him to be like, you know, a guy that says, look, I'm that dude, y'all build around and I'm gonna take you out of, we all need to be. Well, that's right. Definitely. Solidifies him as DP for them. Jay. Got, no, no. I mean, the Anthony Melton, but they not starting him and then the other guy they drafted, but I'm sure they not having him start at PG. So. Devon Booker, Josh Jackson, Trevor REEs a TJ Warren, and the odds are Aden's probably gonna be their starting five. It's not too bad, not too bad. All their wing players in a change of you could Switzerland so much stuff off ball screens because they're all very lengthy and pretty solid defenders. The line of them I want to know who I'm going to bench who's going to be that sitting Ryan in they report their Ryan, the sons having tensions on making Ryan. It's an starting four. So. I guess. So he's at least valuable out of the three that the wing players the deal would be would Booker Reza sees a who had like I would rather have TJ. We're coming off the manager six, really? He such nineteen last year. He ain't here. He'd better scored in the six minutes to do, and he has. Sparky score. He's he got a very old school game. The very old school game. I think my is just come up and just I think they should just haven't come off the bench man. Just have them come off the bench. I mean, they still experiment who's your backups. I'll Tyson Chandler still there. Yeah, just haven't come off the bench that play Tyson Chandler. There haven't worked. My next guy was Christmas making all star team. Baby is definitely in the realm of possibility..

"Just for the idea that he was traded and he's back here but just for the fact that the flyers need some talent and to go and ask somebody in free agency something that hextall has been pretty averse to the last couple of years tells you one that the cap situation is better and they can do it and to that they are looking to make some steps forward here so i like seeing that move from hextall and it's one of those things that makes me look over at the sixers and say hey fellas you know go get somebody and for me is that guy now i got some good news for you and i want to share that with you yeah let's talk some good news shall we this story is is great there was a this scenario zona there's somebody who's walking around and i guess they were out in the desert walking around in arizona and a rattlesnake was approaching them and they didn't realize this person but they're six months old golden retriever puppy did and the puppy to protect its owner actually jumped in front of the rattlesnake and took the bite the six month old golden retriever puppy and it lived and so saved its owners life potentially had its own life saved and just another reason why dr great dogs are the best i've never heard of a cat that's jumping in front of its owner save its life i'm just saying i'm sorry cat people and never heard of it our cat's digging people out in avalanches though that's doug i'm doggone dogs are number one this is why this great story this little golden retriever named todd takes a rattlesnake bite it saves its owners life just it's super awesome and so the dog is recovering and gonna be okay and so that makes it a great story otherwise it's really sad story but in other case of dogs being awesome so we've been talking about a lot of things i will say this because i've been so heavy on the leonard train and let's go and get this deal done i mean that's what i've been yelling about for the last three plus hours but here's a little say there's a silver lining for the sixers here if they don't go and get kuwa silver lining is the windows not technically open right now they can get to the finals and i would love to see them get there and that's a big statement to the league for them if they trade for kawai and i guess in this case they're not but if simmons and embiid rival to get to the finals that signals a lot and it's going to get players to want and come and play with them but if they don't this is the war your season yet again there are the odds favor to win the league they've kept all four of the big four together so kevin durant steph curry klay thompson draymond green dollar is still there like the warriors are together there intact and so the odds of beating them even with kawhi not great and so as much as i want to go and get kurai and build for the future with him because it's not just about this year i think he he could stay and you'd get him for five six years you'd be here till he's thirty two thirty three thirty four like when you have that potential i would do it but this isn't there you this is the warriors year so you can sit and wait a little bit and klay thompson is going to be up as a free agent next year whether or not he stays or goes is going to affect the window as well if they managed to keep klay there then you still got this big four that is just absolutely unbeaten able and the sixers will still have their time and bead right now is twenty four simmons is twenty two so if you're in the camp of hey i just don't wanna trade for quiet think this whole thing's too risky these are the kinds of things that you can lean on the sixers window to compete has opened right now and they can go for if they so choose but if they don't you can sit back a little bit i wouldn't sit back to long now wait until at twenty twenty one pick comes around and.

"Looking at george what is eighteen home runs i'm looking at stanton when it seventeen home runs and affect that they're both baton over to fifty i'm pleased but a need more eight more what i need is this rotation severino is special tanaka yeah you seven to ten day disabled as i get all of that era near father i'm like that don't like it at all saudi gray area raising their five don't like that the only guys but these are the are as as far as i'm concerned severino it's the best deal john paying attention all of this stuff i'm paying attention eight say espn as editor at seven to nine three seven seven six one point i wanted to get into his another you know when we read the stories about what's happening with kuwa linnet and san antonio spurs and what have you let's keep an eye on the ball about what's really going on yeah we've heard about mismanagement of an injury mishandling of an injury rather and you know didn't like being questioned by tony park and these guys in the team meeting as to whether or not he was really heard or not he really really wanna play for this team we saw that we truly did but i think the part that we can't peel away from the part that we really have to pay attention to the part that is just unavoidable in so many respects is that quiet linnet just wants to be in la my sources tell me he looked great popovich right in the face and said i wanna be an la i want to be in la period ended discussion that's where i'm at not that he said that period the discussion part i'm just going to be quite franken blunt that's what he said and if we're going to be honest about it it shouldn't be a surprise ways from he's confident you could get it contended there i can tell you the bronze camp is fully aware of what kalat koala at wants to do because that may play a role in deciding what lebron james might do these all things that we have to pay attention to it's not about anything else general is about the fact that he wants out and because he wants out and because he wants to be in la you gotta wonder what options you gotta really really wonder what options the san antonio spurs may have available to them you got to wonder about that can't be ignored any longer it really really can't we gotta get is on the ball here we gotta pay attention to what's going on we gotta understand that excuse me this is just what it is right now and what are you doing from there we've been talking so much about kawara lenin in the purple and gold might have forgot a little bit about the clippers de'andre jordan has a player option or twenty four million dollars could after out austin rivers has a player option or twelve point six million he could opt out for a longer term deal okay you gotta look at it from that standpoint they've got a team option on five million dollars for patrick beverley ladies and gentlemen that's thirty that's thirty six million dollars right there are policies not thirty six billion it's more like forty one million right there you always exceed the cavern going to the luxury to retain the andre jordan assuming he wants to stay which i hear he does not he'd rather be in houston wadad says he wants to go to la how do we know if the lakers we assume we believe we've brought nas kate we wait a pros and cons and tell you it's the purple golden and it's like a nation this while we're talking about here brother could work for the cia guy anything that anybody is quiet as a mouse we don't know what they're talking about here we don't know whether to talk about the lakers clippers and why do i even bring up the clippers and its relevancy because i'm thinking about jerry west that's why i'm thinking about jerry west and the magic he has will and if you in the city of angels the city of los angeles i got news for you you're paying attention to that do you know why because he's jerry west that's why he's a consultant he's.

"Oh players you know domestically from college how that's gone up that was up by about forty forty forty more individuals or fifty more individuals and again just tying what i talked about with one hundred one hundred thirty seven college players last year one eighty one this so that's a fifty fifty eight so there's no reason to just flush so many again think about it unlike here where there are going to be two hundred and fifty six draft choices for thirty two teams right the nba sixty sixty two rounds what do you do with all these kids that don't go and they can't all go to the g league so you're sending all of them overseas why not keep all these kids and domestic or back to college and back college basketball so different from the nfl it's not even a totally different ball wax it's so different than twenty years ago when we were big time college hoops fans we knew the kids some other nba news spurs eliminated last night could be the final game for manage tony parker who knows what their future is right there teammate kawhi leonard also the center of so much controversy this season well according to espn and all hands on deck summer meeting with co co leonard is on the high priority list for the sport for the spurs according to danny green quoted after the game everyone asks the question but he's still here he's still in and he's still a part of this team until things change so his teammates certainly consider him still a part of this moore's whether kuwa himself considered himself still a part of the spurs the only played nine games this year with that quad yes he continues his rehab in new york city popovich as expected to be a major part the weed in this we'll find out that he hasn't lost his chops either man.
