"What would be the first thing you would change in the labor laws if you could would immediately make work? Better. Oh what a good question. Some folks are thinking about right now, what it could look like if workers could rapidly form their own unions, there's certain laws that govern filing for a union election. It's a pretty involved process that almost always requires the assistance of union staff but most unions are downsizing. They do not have same organizing capacity that they had even ten years ago. And so when you have declining union capacity to help workers organized and surging worker interest in organizing, making it easier for workers to form and join unions on their own. I think is is an appealing concept. There's a lot of ideas floating around right now one is that there would be an opportunity once a year for workers to vote on whether they want to join a union as almost like election day. It's just a day every year where everyone in the US who has a job w job just votes on whether they want to join a union. And then the process goes from there if a majority of workers elect to join the Union and they would be able to bargain a contract. I'm a basically a proponent of anything that allows more workers to have a voice. A lot of folks are interested in this idea of. On corporate boards I think we just need to be in a place of experimentation and as much as policy can support that experimentation but that the state and federal level the better I think that's how we'll land on. Really building institutions and the long term that can hold worker power this week future hindsight is brought to you by Jordan Harbinger and has podcast. Jordan. Harbinger show. "If I was running that if always running a a young sports team of of on a night teen fifteen year olds all be hidden in the half time is what we have in New Zealand is some sliced up oranges unite Tom sliced up our inches half a banana, they will unite if this. In luck was after the the guy is ninety to stop and get a bigger pie in some chips because of fight a big game of football glass of water on a piece of fruit toil that you'll let you on a Nate. I saw think that appearance Kutch is probably talking to the wrong why in my opinion, and you know, we all have Sime energy stoled within out body. You know, unless we have some young person that's really struggling with body white as in as in struggling with Greis in in in white in in terms of getting enough calories in. Which not many people have that problem. I don't think, but I really we we need to be eighteen not a lot different too. If we weren't exercising. As young people. That sounds like you're sort of saying, you know, eat your normal meals that you would eat in a day. And maybe I'd like an orange slice in an absolutely have. You Have know? you have a piece of fruit around around the facility, whether that's at halftime or after the after the guy, but he's ninety have another meal before during and after I went out talking about these kids running around for five as we're talking about, you know, an ala long game, you know, what all of us can do without eighteen at all in that whole die if he wanted to. So it's not about it's not about fueling the activity. It's about two eight normally well in in if you need a little bit of extra in, it's that's you know, a couple of losses colorful, fruit. And that's it. I remember in high school. I was just telling someone today we're doing high school taught we were in the cafeteria. I was saying hi just could not put on weight night school. It was impossible. I was always.

"If you don't believe yourself. No one else will dream the dream because a lot of times people let go the dreams if you truly believe if you really there's a if you have a passion of something go for it. You know, go forward and don't let anyone tell you have a wise 'cause a lot of influences certainly with all the the websites that ever the goods going on with with technology that everyone seems to be offering shortcut when I think deep down we all know, there really isn't it's, but every if you want it they're going to have to work for it you have to work for. But then again, again, there's with technology and everything else there there is seems to be although peers to be sure. Kutch? But when all said and done you want you want much experience as you can possibly get a my dad would always say why you could learn at the easy way or the hard way. That's coming. But if we're gonna learn easy way or the long hallway. And with that. I think that's what's so amazing to hear obviously, not a professional ahead. Not a champion anyway. But I face self-doubt, even champions face self-doubt. But it's going beyond that, whether it's the mental governor, we have or the physical governor we have and sometimes it takes a coach or a mentor to push us to that level. Sometimes it takes an opponent right staring down Tommy her and some of the toughest boxers the history of boxing. Well, he can get a little extra you. Right. That's so true. And you know, again, I I I will constantly Pete this. There are no short Kutch. And even if you took a short cut is going to catch up with you eventually because you didn't you didn't go through that experience eating go through the process. So you don't know what to expect by because you took the shortcut and obviously boxing career where there are going to be setbacks. It's very. Difficult to go undefeated throughout your amateur and pro career in those moments of defeat where you're picking yourself up the ground. Was there something you were telling yourself the next fight the next training session? That would get you motivated and became our self motivated. I wanted to win I wanted to be successful. You know, deep down inside me. And I think the way I think I always I'm such an optimist by nature, and I know this is always a way to win as always a way to win nine times out of ten. Fail sometimes. But there is a way to win. Just can't give up right? Finding that way to win for the magic is fine. The with finding and find a way to win. That's end. It is. It is magic. I love it. I'm I'm glad you said that we use that to. Excellent. And our audience would love to help fight diabetes with you with this. "There's there's also a big segment. Obviously they're fighting for their lives in the NFL like everything's on the line to make final Kutch and every day of practice matters and every rep of the preseason matters even for guys that you know, might get cut. Look, if they put out good film, they'll be claimed by another team wins final cuts happen and they'll they'll still be in the NFL. So from an agent perspective, this is the craziest time and you know, we're following each and every one of our clients every day. I mean, I know how to guys. Go down this week, knocking on wood, nothing serious, but you know, it's just a really anxious time for a lot of guys that are fighting for their lives. I mean, Rutgers are at ninety men right now here in a two and a half. Well, three and a half weeks. They're going to get cut down to fifty three. So essentially half of the players that are going around saying they're in it in the NFL right now, almost half won't be very soon. And so it's, you know, it's everything's on the line and and these games are much more important than the terms of the life know the lives of these young men than than regular season, which is shit easy. So so I'm selfish, that's. I mean, what I basically heard from both of you is that I'm selfish so that checks out. So I'll be more of appreciation. But I mean, hey, look a gives us the NFL and a talk about, so I can't complain about that, but I'll I'll have a different. I when I look at it and I know college football is, I think like what seventeen days away at this point a couple of weeks and our best friend, the NC double a. I know all three of us really loved the NC double. Why they've been in the news today because they changed some rules not perform but for basketball, and I actually wrote a hit piece on them this morning because I'm just furious that everything that they do. And I talked about North Carolina guys getting in trouble for selling their shoes and all that. But they made some big changes in college basketball today that now guys cannot only have agents when they're in school. They can also go back to college if they declare an are undrafted. And I think that is wild because that's a huge thing in college. Basketball does nothing for football, which is another example of apocryphal. But I mean, I did not expect that to happen at all today. Obviously that we have ideal situation to be able to come out. Take a look at what goes on. You don't get drafted. You go back to school. I think that's not ideal situation in any of the sports..
