He's actually kind of a nerd and kind of clumsy and then he just has that one bad moment every episode like i think it's episode one or two put that guy through the channel and he goes. I wasn't finished speaking. And you're like oh fuck this guy. So i think yeah i think ken is. It has a very special place in my heart. that's here steer. All max to a certain point saw. There is a massive Inex- final fantasy fourteen announcement showcase and they announced a lot of stuff. I'll fancy fourteen has become a new Game that i've been playing a lot with my Fire team from out seventy six. We needed another game. Shot out so we started playing this and tell follow adds more content so cross platform play but as i know that you are watching. I know that you're listening. Not cross platform play love you so some of the announcement stuff that was released was there will be a new expansion called n walker There will be a ps five version. That is going to beta testing in april. Which i'm excited for. Because i have a bs five The level cap will increase from eighty to ninety. There will be two new jobs which includes a sage healer. And there's also this melee. Eps that is in in Secret right now but the theory is that it will be a neck romance sir. I'm not exaggerating that. For any weird reasons that is reminds me of that of like you have my sword events for my brothers. You have my sword. My axe and your brother There is a lot new areas new dungeons new raids including twenty four person. Alliance raid new cyclists news. One interesting thing. There were moving belts Because as an equitable slot because people say that some of the stats are generally negligible. And not really big deal. And it takes up inventory space. So anyway there is a lot and it'll be kind of unfolding over the next few months but Yeah good good smut hockey pads too good. I was just gonna say i. I want to shout out tonight boom nights. Because while it may not be nice the public three that i've always dreamed of getting a remake a reimagining of this game with updated graphics and and everything like that would be a sign placeholder for now until the day of nights deal to public three coming out so that's aspire media keep an eye out aspire help or they made one of my favorite games civilization five and Satisfies okay madge want. You are like playing that game but we'll save that for another day. Yeah totally like on total gandhi in civilization. Who drops though right. yeah Caitlyn however you go next. Because i'm handling kind of tech stuff so yeah go for it. So tech stuff kind of came across. I did come across this documentary. That i wasn't expecting to see and after i actually watched this morning because it came out at the time of this recording came out the day before on on friday the fifth. And it's about britney spears it's called framing britney spirits and it's basically about how cinch since like two thousand eight or something thousand eight. She has been under a conservative ship with her father. Jamie spears and basically this documentary is talking about how a conservatorship is for someone who is senile and cannot be in control of their own life. This conservatorship was supposed to be temporary because it was when she was having her meltdown and like her life is falling apart. Supposed to be a temporary thing and basically it's been going. She's still under conservatorship even though yeah she l. happening show some like really questionable tiktok which makes life you'll be like. Is this like the the veil of like help me. There's been some there's uses for breadcrumbs if you wanna dive deep into it. Where they're like the next video where this if you need help. And she did and but it's just like subtle enough where it's like but is that it or did she And there's whole thing. There's the freebritney movement. Because her father actually saw her father was the conservatorship for everything like her daily life of who. She's allowed to see her money. Her estate like having guards around her all day every day like he controlled all of her and then he had like a stint with alcoholism or some some medical thing so he was removed from her like person but he's still involved in her finances So he's still co conservatorship with her financial life even now like if that was two thousand eight. That was over twelve years ago. Now so my back i know. Sorry but yeah like and even one of the lawyers that was on the case with the conservatorship with her dad was like asking for a raise which is impossible for a conservative because that means they shouldn't be functional at all And that's when she was doing her second residencial las vegas and that's so it's like this whole documentary. Breaks down the insanity of this and then it makes you question things because the end of it they say we requested britney spears to like talk on this. We have no idea if she got our requests or not..

Stay Weird With Stacy Ossei-Kuffour
"So stay we thought we would warm up a little bit because We were delighted to find out that one of your favorite things in the world. Is Felicity. So. What is it about felicity? Well. It's a couple of things I think. For me growing up I I didn't realize it until. Now but I was really obsessed with the WB like. The WB. Children out there will be like, what is she talking about and I think for me? I became obsessed with felicity because she was like I mean obviously Carey is stunning I'm talking about like I know are but I think really affected. Me Was it. It was about this woman who didn't know what she wanted, but she knew she wanted Ben and saying it now it's like such an eye roll but I just thought it was so cool that she. Didn't do anything that her parents or friends wanted her to do and she like just dropped everything and moved to New York for this guy and Mike as a eleven year old a twelve year old I was like yes. Hi. I'm this is I'm going. This is where I'm going I. totally forgot you're going here. So unbelievable. I know this from high school. This is Susan this is. This is. versity felicity while. All right. So I'll see you around. and. Just told myself that I was going to do the same thing felicity did and obviously I mean I there wasn't a boy that I was like in love with and moving to New York for but I researched that like the school that they were modeling it after. Was Nyu, and so I decided that when I was gonNA turn eighteen that that was the school I was GonNa go to. So it's crazy to say now and you know when I did turn eighteen deny auditioned for nyu I didn't get in and so it was heartbreaking and all that stuff and obviously I realized I was not in TV show in not felicity. But then I auditioned my sophomore year and then I did get in and so I moved I dropped everything and moved to New York did you also? Like seek out a job at Dean and Deluca to really out. Absolutely, and they were like no ma'am and I was like please and it's crazy because i. think when I went in there I couldn't afford like not even a Bego I think it was like seven dollars an onion Bagel. But I was like for me like walking Dean and Deluca was like walking into a museum felicity just had an extreme profound effect I. Mean even now I go back and just watch the pilot discussed. Makes me feel good. So getting a little bit into your work to words that we noticed while researching up on, you two words that positively came up a lot to describe your work either by like your own words or other people describing your work. Were dark and weird. So I was wondering what those words, those two words mean to you. I think if I'm honest both of those words like. Growing up had a negative connotation for me I. Think. People often thought I was extremely weird and you know I was a pretty dark kid in terms of the stuff that I was into I mean publicity isn't that dark but I was really into. Buffy obviously but also these. Books where like it's just you know murder and incest, and then I think a lot of my friends were reading goosebumps which I was into but then like my sister was reading just rl Stein. So I was like wait what's that and so I kind of ditched goosebumps because it was like. And got into Rl. Stein. The adult books recalled Rl Stein and so I would read those a lot and those kind of just kept my. I think I was obsessed with a lot of stuff but I didn't WanNa read the Kitty Shit. I really wanted the adult books and I fought really hard. To like, trick my parents into getting me the staff and pretending it was a PG and That's just show you the kind of kid. I was just like I was beyond curious like I wanted the content I wanted I just wanted to grow up really

I'm kind of a fan of what you all did and because I'm primarily writer, this is a conversation I've been looking forward to for a long time. I want to start with a question about how the room actually function because this show appropriately enough is kind of like a Swiss watch, there are a billion spinning plates. As collaborators, how did you pull this off? How did you manage to do all of these things separately and together and make it seem so seemless Will I have two kids? I've given birth twice and I think there's sort of an analogy to to being on the other side of giving birth where you look back and you're like I literally have no idea how my body did what it did and I have no memory of what happened I kind of feel that way about looking back on the almost two years we spent writing this show I'm like Holy Shit. How did that happen? I don't know what do you guys? Do you guys think well, you know what? For me I had never been in a room this diverse before and it wasn't just the ratio of. The journalists there were playwrights and I wasn't necessarily used to that like I come from primarily the procedural world and to come to a room where everything was approached by character, and there was just a different way of breaking story and worked in network. For me, it was my second show that I had worked on I did the TV show happy for watchmen but really didn't talk much in that Roman. So Pretty Green and being able to be a part of the show and seeing all of the mechanics seeing people that were so incredible at hitching. So intelligence. So in love with watchmen. Had really ever heard of the comic book but I, was talking to David about how he made the decision in terms of which people he chose for the writer's room and he was saying he really likes people who ran hot and I feel like everybody cared so much about. Not only making the show truthful but like racial aspects of it, we all just cared so much. I think because we all run hot, it's reflected in show maybe it is that part of why this all worked is because it's not like you all knew that you were writing something that was going to be sort of profoundly impactful on the environment you were working on a show in and of itself, and that's all that mattered and you didn't have the weight of expectation there necessarily. But what you did have was a very fearless approach to topics that a lot of people are just uncomfortable dealing with although obviously the show is very much centered on race. You're also tackling the persistence of white supremacy in law enforcement. The role that the media including television shows plays in perpetuating racist thought. Generational trauma and the way inherited pain damages the people who come after. And you're even tackling the kind of inherent nationalism of the Superman of the hero itself. And you did it all it seems to me on my side of the TV without fear or blinking or compromise. But I'm kind of curious because you all work together in the room how you navigated that space together to be free enough to screw up. But not being so free that you end up hurting each other. I, think the show for me. It just happened to come at a time where there has been such a major shift and America's perception of race and policing and I think that police lean and to a larger extent the criminal justice system has always been a tool of white supremacy. And being former officer, I can say that you know I'm a witness to it but I think the response to racism feels different. One of the things that really attracted me to watch men when I had the meeting with Damon. was that he was like, okay. One of the things that we definitely WANNA tackle is racism and policing and the idea of masking gain, and all of that was very attractive to me because all I kept thinking about, what would a world where police wear masks look like? Because knowing how the system works now and how it oppresses communities of color and how it negatively impacts people of color while they're showing their face. So imagine what that would be like if the police were mass,

On The Ledge
Plant Passports in the UK
"Nikola thanks for joining me today. It's a topic that's been causing a lot of conversation around the plot growing world here in the UK. And I. I wanted to start by asking you about this. These new regulations that have came in late last year. Two thousand nine hundred nineteen. What's the rationale between this new deform of plant passports that have been introduced? Well the new pump passport. Regulations widen both the scope of the kinds of plants. CBS which require a plump passport and also the scope of the operators who now must be registered and authorize and. We think that this full allow us to move from a more reactive approach to plant health that we currently have to a more proactive approach enabling us to better tackle pest listen disease threats as they emerge what are the the. But the consumer. That's buying plants in the garden center. Loretta nursery or buying buying things mail order. What will they see in terms of a difference when the be anything to see in terms of a different approach to the plots? They're receiving will the requirement qualm for plant. Passports is now going to be down to retail level So that also captures distance sales on for example Internet trading so that all traders of plums must now be known into the competent authority which is a deaf FRA and we'll have plot health obligations so whether they're nursery landscape her high street retailer or selling online they will have obligations to to be authorized and to keep records so that when a consumer buys applause and they may well notice that now on the plunked or the box walks with the label There may be a plant passport but equally. If in some instances the plants aunts have entered a store with a plan passed on a trolley for example and the consumer just buys one plant. They may not actually see the plant passport so it slot. It depends on the kind of plump that they're buying whether buying it from right at. What are the pests and diseases that you're most worried about what what the big headline grabbing pests and diseases that we concerned about here and trying to limit through this new regulation while the there is a range of pests? Pests Diseases. What consent about we list them all on the UK plot health risk register but essentially for the kind of horticultural all to cultural ornamental? Plants traded were particularly concerned about things like Zainullah fastidious which is a bacterial disease We're we're also concerned about various insect pests such as the Asian longhorn beetle but there are a wide range of pests that were concerned about and one of these. The wording of the plant passports says that this concerns all plants for planting and if I people who said can you ask ask nuclear. What does plants for planting actually mean are we talking about everything that goes in the ground oriented as opposed to produce that might be the plant based but is is intended for the kitchen is that is that the distinction book essentially plants for planting or anything? That's going to be either put in the ground all kept in port an and as essentially as a living plant at rather than For example cut flower Woah. or a cutting of something. That's being used as a hub. So it's really anything that's going to be planted in the in the ground remain. Main plummeted will be replanted oversee cuttings and propagation material things like seed potatoes would also be included. Where did I am partied herbs bright? I've got you that makes sense and one of the other issues that seems to have come up since this legislation came in is the vast numbers of people who are using often using social media coming online. They're not professional nurseries. But they've got a few plants that they're propagating gating and neither swapping or selling. Can you just clarify for me. What does it actually mean in terms of who needs to be registered? I've heard conflicting advice from people. Some people saying well I'm a hobbyist so I don't need to be registered even though I'm selling plots online posting them to people who can you just clarify that point yes so I mean we. We have had several clubs and organizations. Contact October for clarification. So we're still kind of working through the final details but essentially If a hobbyist owning hugest he's making a profit from sales then we think that they should be in scope fo- plant passporting just as in the same way if they're selling cuttings and And so on whereas if there is I know that many clubs and societies aww have a sort of swapping service so you know they might share seeds. They might hsieh material. We feel that Would fall outside light the scope so it's really whether somebody is is essentially making a business out of it making a profit trading for financial benefit Kuffour. You know it's over a greater scale than somebody just kind of swapping giving away clumps a local no club so for those people in that category who are likely to be less jammed up and all this stuff that hopefully the nurseries. He presumably a much more engaged in in in your work. Anyway what do they need to do. Somebody is selling some cuttings off plants online. They need to register and will they be inspected to they have to pay fees. Could you just explain that because that seems to be causing people some confusion so what we do is ask those people to Contact us through the Gulf Dot. UK plant health pages era various sort of online information and a sort of email address to contractors so that they can Notify us of the kind of trade that doing on the wing than we can make a judgment as to whether they need to be registered essentially registering can be done online but authorization means to issue. Plant passports means that we do need a plot. Health ceases specter to tape may make a visit and decide whether or not you know that person meets minimum plant health standards in terms of traceability knowledge about about of the plants that they're trading in and in terms of fees we Do charge a minimum uh-huh fee for an inspection and again that's all set out on the web pages and it's based on a minimum time unit. The fifteen minutes or part thereof. So you know somebody who's a a very small scale prater it should be fairly straightforward and simple simple to do obviously larger operation. It it might take a little bit more time line to do the authorize ation But fees are payable For somebody to be derived to issue possible so I think the key thing is determining whether or not you know the businesses in scope first of of all and then what the cost of the authorisation might be
