And we're gonna talk with author Jamie Mets on his new book hacking, Darwin genetic engineering and the future of humanity. So many questions leeann this position burnouts, they was not a surprise to me. There has been flight of my generation from the practice of medicine because it had become so painful to to practice your encumbered by electronic medical record, which is horrible. And even that was supposed to fix medicine. We all knew it wouldn't have been a terrible burden insurance company. Call all the shots. We have no ability to really intervene on behalf our patients if we want to because insurance companies are literally somebody with a code book in Wisconsin is calling the shots literally. And I've had some of the most owners position of physician reviews, they make you review it with another doctor who job is just deny you the services. So why it's never I've never had a physician review. Well, I used to do reviews on psychiatric patients that had an addiction treatment. I would scare them with medical terminologies because they were interests that would get me another couple of days. But if I argued the actual needs of the case based on the psychiatric needs. No because they they're working for the. Notes because he run talented stupid. And because they even know the difference between what I was talking about. And the medical the medical because I was an attorney working in a psychiatric. I do the full spec. Rain because the insurance company. All they wanted to do is save money save money services, but not take on liability. So when I start talking about serious medical problems. Anyone with any real good medical training would. No, I was just talking about stuff could easily be handles an outpatient that would scare them. And that would buy me a couple more days to treat. My patients attorneys are all over us and everything every interaction with a patient a potential lawsuit. Everything everything has to be documented all the education is on us all the needs of the family the follow up. What do you think they always say, I wanna talk to the doctor? I want to go ahead and try something get something. And I wanna know if you think will be disappointed. Stood in getting a portable music player. And I was reading online that you can use an old cellphone for that. I don't have an old cell phone, but I was looking on online. And it looks like one can get one of these prepaid cell phones for about thirty bucks about the same cost. Maybe even less expensive than a lot of music players. That's exactly right. Yeah. It seems to come with enough memory, and you know, bluetooth and and wireless, pardon me. Oh, wifi and a little plug in for, you know, for the speaker may be is am I gonna be disappointed? If I if I get I don't think so a couple of things to keep in mind, you mentioned one which is unique enough storage on the phone. Some inexpensive phones don't have much storage sixteen gigs the like, and so keep that in mind. Although the first the first ipod only gigabyte, so you know, it's not it may be enough for you. But just keep that in mind. The you know you want. Ideally, you'd want something with sixty four gigs or more or even better the -bility put an ST card in because that means you could put all your music on ST card, and then pop it into the phone and also you wanna make sure that the foam will continue to work, even if it has no sim card most phones, that's not a problem because you're not gonna buy some cardiac by connectivity. You're just gonna use it as as a portable player kind of like an apple still sells, you know, the iphone kind of without the phone. That's their their their last ipod. They still sell which is basically I phone without a phone and that works just fine..
