"Like everything. Apparently he was on it. Well, my rifle was still attached to the tripod. So I'm bragging that thing. Trying to crawl. And trying to crawl and literally, I think I found every thorn in that pasture. And at this point, now at first, I'm trying to be tough. I'm like, just keep going, man. Just keep going. I don't care if you don't let them see your emotions. Yeah. I mean, I mean, Stephanie's ahead of me. You're ahead of me like just don't be a wuss. Let's go. And eventually I'm like, this is stupid. I look down my hands are bloody, and there's blood. I'm like, I gotta pull thorns at this point. I'm bleeding. I'm dragging this tripod. I mean, it's not even folded up, either. It does drag it, 'cause we were so it was such a hot mess getting out of the truck. I think what we need to do is we need to send Adam with you guys just to record the shitshow of what's going on. It is a mess. He said at best it's like, we should have showed up in a blue tux and a tangerine orange tux because it is dumb and dumber out there. And so we get, we get to this defense line that's a brush line really that divides like a power line. And so she gets him set up. She's like, okay, there's only one out there. Oh, no, there's two now. So I have to get on the outside. She's like, stay low, stay low. And so I'm all in bipod. He's on the tripod with a saddle. And then another one comes out. And then another one comes out. So now we got three. And he and I are like, okay, you shoot the one on the left, all right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm on the left. I'm on the left, I'm the one on the left moved. Crap. Now he's over on the right. So I got to move down the line. Like, this goes on. At one point, at one point, one yolk was humping the other, yo. Yes. I wish you would have shot a male off of the female. I was going to, but we didn't have our system down for what it was literally. Yes. We were screwing around for so long. They got quicker. They got a quickie and while we were trying to set up. All right. That's how you know a little bit. Yeah, and I'm sitting there just watching. We're both watching through, okay, what are we gonna do? And then Stephanie's like, which one do you want? I'm like, the problem. He says the brown one. And I was like, and I'm starting to laugh. That's definitely like a focus. Focus. And so do any countdown. Three, two, one. One, two, three. Wait, wait. Are we shooting on three? Oh, he's shooting on four. Like, what is it? Is it one, two, three, shoot, or one, two, shoot? What do we call this point? Now, Kris kross, they're chasing the birds. Oh, they're still trying to hook up. Yeah. Like somewhere between having sex and chasing birds. 'cause there's vultures on it. And eating. Every once in a while, want to dive on the hog and eat for a second, then go like, oh crap, I gotta move. It literally was like going to golden corral during senior citizen hour. There are people running all over place, fighting over food. What's the time span between when you started crawling to this point? To

"Again, Tomb Raider, same deal. It's like an ambiguous enough name. It's not like, I don't know, Harry Potter, where they have to retool the entire title to make it not just focus on one person. Indiana Jones has to be about Indiana Jones. That's a tricky one where it's like, how do you, you know, shift that universe, you know? But uncharted, nice and vague, which means you can make it about all sorts of stuff, but yeah, I mean, the conversation, do we want more Nathan Drake? Because pretty good, pretty good farewell. There's actually a poll we put up asking readers, should the next uncharted or should he uncharted series end for good? And 37% of the people kind of share our sentiment and said they should keep the series going with a new protagonist. 24% said, yes, it should have had a full story in a proper ending Bon voyage Nate. And then 21% said, no, there's still more Nathan Drake's stories to tell. And then 17% said, if naughty dog isn't developing it, I don't need a new one, which, oh. You know, so yeah, there's a lot of sort of Kris kross going on there. First things first, what Sony studio should tackle uncharted? You know, so through this one out pretty early. And I think I'm gonna stick with it. I think house mark would do a really fun job with uncharted. It's already been a bit of a kind of arcadey run around action game, so and I feel like they did such an amazing job with Returnal that they could really kind of translate a lot of lessons they learned from that. I'm not thinking that we get a rogue like experience for the next uncharted. But I think just their attention to detail, they're the way they built the mechanics on the gunplay and traversal in Returnal. I think they've got a nice little kind of bed to kind of Benton foundation to build a new uncharted game off of. And I think it could be a cool experiment and uncharted. You know, interesting. Yeah. There's definitely go ahead. I was going to say my gut reaction to that was like, what are you talking about, but then you sold me on it. I'm actually keen on that because I think that they at the very least would handle the arcade shooting gameplay really well, which to me was always like one of the weaker parts of uncharted. That was always kind of there, but it didn't necessarily feel like that was like a core mechanic that I really cared about. That gameplay just jumped into the gameplay with a character just died. It's not even a fault, a high drop. It's just like, this is out of bounds. I'm sorry, right? Continue. No, no, no, my kind of like immediate thought was either Sony Ben because they've already made an uncharted game. They made golden bes, which launched with the Vita. Or gorilla. And I know like gorilla is heads down on the horizon franchise for the foreseeable future, there was leaks the other day of a multiplayer mode they're working on. But I would love and this is incredibly ambitious and asking for a lot, but I would love an open world uncharted game that was less about gunplay and more about traversal climbing, going to distinct environments in areas, puzzle solving and basically being like, there's a giant mountain there and at the top of it is an artifact. And I'm going to go to that point of the map, and I'm going to conquer it. I think that the horizon games already do that really well. And they're less, they're less about running around shooting people with guns, although there's obviously a huge emphasis on combat in those games. But it'd be really cool to see something where it's just like, you get in a vehicle, you drive across the map. You climb to the top of a mountain and you go down into a cave, you get a treasure, you fight a bunch of bad guys, maybe there's a demon there, you know, some Supernatural ghoul of sorts. And then you kind of get out and you go somewhere

"Sunday, it's been a long month this week for me. I'm in Kris kross in the country. If you didn't know, there's something happening Tuesday, which is going to be very interesting and important. I made a promise to pass through Steve that I would never forget about New Mexico. I love New Mexico. And I have a heart for this state. And I told Steve, I said, I know. I know I got to come back. I got to come back and the stars just aligned and here we are right now, right before Tuesday and honor to be here. And I'm going to talk a little bit about New Mexico, but I'm also going to talk about things that are happening across the country. As I know a lot of people are watching on the live stream and we're going to talk about some of the dynamics unfolding. And really kind of address it head on. How should Christians think about the election? How should we think about what's happening on Tuesday? Are you in a lot of talk about it in church? Now we are a legacy church by Steve with Steve smotherman. So I think a lot of you have already had a fair dose of truth here over the last couple of years. But it's important that we talk about this and we discuss it because, you know, this is something that has really been, in my opinion, misrepresented in the media and misrepresented by a lot of churches. And so let's talk about it. So coming up on Tuesday, of course, at the midterm election. This state is right and play. I got to tell you, this is something that's very important. You have a governor that I would not give a very good grade to. Let's put that way on a lot of different things. And but should we as Christians care about it? Should we show up and vote? So first and foremost, I believe, if you look at the scriptures, Jeremiah, 29 7, it says seek the welfare of the nation that you are in because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare. Now,

One of his greatest struggles. Sharing a room and a bathroom. With two strangers, but I think what has definitely impacted me there is so far as the feeling of just not having the freedom and regressing into almost feeling like you're back at school with controlled wake up and bedtimes, not being able to control what you can eat. Hospital meals often consist of mystery meat. The bigger mystery, chance release date. He's supposed to start a new job, a new life in Hong Kong. What's the worst part of this? "Dancer, and Richard munchkin. Good afternoon. Welcome to gambling with an edge on bob dancer. And I'm Richard munchkin. Today our guest is familiar to all our listeners. It's Anthony Curtis visits its one more time. Anthony, welcome back to gambling with an edge. Good to see you. All right, so your head of Huntington press and the Las Vegas adviser are there any books on Huntington press, which are near to be released. Yeah, actually, yes. Yeah, I say this last time I was on. I think I did. Yes, we're very close on several. I mean, by the time of the year is out, we'll have probably four to 6 books released. The current one, the closest one, the ones that everybody's been waiting for, which are the two books from James grove street. Tentatively titled the ultimate report. And the second one is the ultimate report lockdown edition. Lockdown edition being a reference to he wrote this during the COVID lockdown. And I guess it's really scary when you get James give James gross gene time in a reason. The guy sleeps about two hours a day and works anyway. So I guess during lockdown and he worked even harder and it's pretty amazing. These are books about pretty much about the Carnegie games. Is that available to the public? Or is that exhibit CAA words? Yeah. He and I are talking about it. You never know exactly what you're getting when you get in with this guy. But I can tell you that the first one, the ultimate report is going to be a book that's actually in bookstores. So finally, there's going to be James gross gene book in bookstores. It's going to be we refer to it our code is the basic strategy book. And this is a book about all the ins and outs of playing the different Carnegie games. From the ones that have been around for a long time, like three card poker and Mississippi stud to some of the new ones flop poker, Kris kross poker, this sort of thing. What's interesting about these books? This book and why it's valuable. Is in the basic strategy book basically, there is no information in there or it's very sparse on how to beat the games. But what it does do is it takes away from the common players, the mistakes they make are unbelievable. They make mistakes in games that are giving the casinos double digit advantages when they're not supposed to have it. And sometimes in excess of 20%. So you do one or two small things that James brings out and all of a sudden you're dropping that down real close to the optimal edge of sometimes under 3%. So it's a big savings for people who like to play these games, even something as simple as let it ride. It's a big savings..

"Do you ever see the video where he takes the club, he like puts it behind his neck kind of cranes his neck back and then slowly you just see the glove just break into two. Yeah, that was clean too. Or like it's your old hat and I love tyrol. I love him. And I just want to see more. I don't want everyone to look like that, but you do need some guys who are going to and I like the fact that Grayson owns up to it. Again, right or wrong, he's like, this is what I'm doing and I'm sticking to it. Even when he was going after Kevin na, he was full on like leaning into it and it's funny, you know, he's not trying to reflect the many situations, which again gets him in trouble. But for us, as the viewers and people following him, it is interesting. And I have a bit of a soft spot in my heart for Grayson because the face you just made when I said that. No, no, no, okay, listen, did you see my knee come up? My foot was I'm sitting Kris kross with a blanket over my legs right now and my foot fell asleep under my legs so I'm trying to physically pin up my leg to get back up. It wasn't about racing. It was the timing. No, but I do have a soft spot too. I mean, I have my own issues. And I know brace up Brighton. I know. I need to stop hitting the mic and I need to stop calling him Bryson. Grayson has, I believe, is like bipolar or something. And I do, I have a soft spot for that, but then at the same time, when it's like, sometimes, you might need to talk to a professional, like that's kind of one, 'cause that's the thing I deal with. And I talk to a professional and people are like, I'm like, yes, I am. I'm working on myself. Thank you. And I just see that in him, and I do, like, I don't think he's a bad person, but I just, I think, I just think he needs help to be the best he can be. Yeah, I grew up playing junior golf with him and he was always so incredibly kind and so sweet to everyone. Yeah, he was just like really, really nice to me. Really? And that's awesome. Like I said, we're all going through our stuff, but I like the fact that leans into it. We need a villain on tour. I think that's really important. And if he wants to be that person, then great, you know, if it makes him happy, then it's good entertainment and I think we need more of that because again, I don't want to see just all these nice guys on tour. That's really, really, it's really boring. I don't want that. Yeah, but like it upsets me almost because it's like I see some of the behavior and grace I hate you, okay? I'm done. We're done bye. Bye. Have fun. This is we're done.

"They've been there a long time and had a defense to set up and they knew just where to put machine guns and their tanks in it. And anyway, the Kris kross firing would run across a hedgerow to hedgerow and the German shooting like crazy at it. And I'd see men dropping on one side of me and the other, and I knew the Germans were Kris kross in their fire, but why didn't they hit me? I was very fortunate. So on this one occasion we got to a hedgerow and we'd gone through it and I carried a Thompson submachine gun and a 45. I know. Well, when we got through this hedge roll, which got the Germans pushed back to the next hedge roll. And as I just came to the top of the hedge roll, I just glanced and there was a German lady going to slip trench there. And he had his rifle alongside him, but he would look the other way. When I saw him, he saw me, my gun jammed. So of course you always carried a knife in our boots, so I took the knife and cut his throat. And that's how close it was. Another occasion I had, we were coming through hedgerow and the growth of pretty thick at the top and had just got or maybe from here to that doorway from an German popped up and he had his gun in his hand, but he had got tangled in grapevines or something in there. And again, my gun misfired, so I had taken down beam to death with the butt of my gun. So it was that kind of fighting. And very savvy. You know what? Very gruesome and what you say. How Does Charlie Have So Much Energy?

"Charlie, how and where do you get all this energy to travel over the place and do these events at the same time be married and tend to your marriage and have time to do hillsdale courses? I'm just ashamed of myself and my time management. Thanks so much, shabu. So look, we do a lot and we don't we don't rest a lot. But, you know, we do three hours of radio a day, which translates to three podcasts a day. We do one on Saturday one on Sunday. Just this week, I had an event every single night except Monday. Kris kross in the country, not to mention the work we do at turning point USA. And running that and managing that, we have a great operational team thankfully that we've been able to put there, but also raising the money for turning point and our 250 plus full-time employees. So look, I don't sit still well. There's work to do. I mean, you got to make a decision in your life where you just kind of sit around and hope things get better. You're going to start to do things. And you will live a much more meaningful life if you act. You'll live a much more meaningful life if you figure out the teleological reason for existence, which is just a really fancy, unnecessarily academic way of saying the purpose. What is your purpose? And so we've definitely found ours. And it's a grind sometimes. Travel the country, you're in new places every single day. We're doing one event tonight and then we got the two tomorrow and next week will be in Fresno and we have not we only missed and it was mainly because of a tactic up one hour of radio this week. So we were on the entire week, we also did the event with the great Candace Owens, a university of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and that's coming off of last week where we did Berkeley boulder and Fullerton in a 72 hour window, and only missed one day of radio last week. So you guys helped make all that possible when you get behind our program and you help turning point USA and you help us. You subscribe to the Charlie Kirk, show podcast.
