Czech it out: Pastrnak, Zacha, Krejci help Bruins top Flyers
"Jeremy swayman picked up his first shout out of the season as the bruins call CheckMate on the flyer 6 nothing. Check natives David pasternak Pavel zaka and David krejci had three points a piece in Boston 6th win in 7 games. Each had two goals and assist while Cree set up three scores as he played in his 1000th NHL game. I feel like this is one of those milestones that you're going to appreciate once you're done. And you look back and you appreciate a little bit more. Brad Marshawn and Michael gresley, each added a goal in this as the bees improved to 21, one and three at home this season. The flyers lost for just the second time in 9 games. I'm Jane ferry.

"So you got fired a month to do his job and was rehired less than 24 hours later because his entire team, including the sun, some of the owners are protested. Yeah, protested. And said they were not going to play unless he was back. So a guy that has had that track record for getting players to buy in, same thing with the islanders. Again, when you're in a team coach by Barry tried, so you're known for having the identity of stingy grinded out team, but as a guy who helped run their defense, he played a very practical and hands on role in terms of getting that defense to be a team that was tough to play against. I think they were in the top ten in fewest goals against per game in all four years with the islanders. So it seems like a guy that wherever he's gone, he's done a very good job at getting guys to communicate, get his message across, get guys to buy in. And so for this team, if his main objective is getting more offensive capabilities out of this decor, seems like a pretty good guy to take on that task, especially if it's something that allows guys like mcavoy or grizzly would have you hit another gear in terms of their offensive production. I don't think you're going to see Brendan Carlo all of a sudden be a 15 goal score or what have you. But if he's able to get if he's able to get more production or just more adopting more mindset of finding those shooting lanes of not being afraid to take a shot and maybe in the past, you'd be chastised for being a low danger shot. If it's all about finding those lanes and capitalizing on them, seems like a pretty good guy for kind of the objectives or the bruins are mapping out for this roster. And that was something that bruins wanted the past couple of years. I remember even Cassidy mentioning this after the hurricane series in 2020 and the bubble saying, we need to get more shots through from the point. And over the past couple of years, it never really took place. And again, hampus lindholm helps with that. It does not help the Charlie mcavoy is going to be out for the first month and a half, two months of the season. Of course, I could be out for a month. So that definitely hurts, but I do think when the lineup is healthy, I think for the direction they want to go in, Gruden sounds like the guy. We will see we will completely say, again, it's an assistant coach, so it's not like he's going to revitalize the whole system. But good to get a new voice on the bench. You know, they got one last year in Chris Kelly. They've had Joe Sacco now forever. I know Joe sack was nothing to do with the defense, but like Joseph has been there since I think like what 2014. Quite a while. Quite a while. And you have goalie bob, obviously. So quite the assistant coaching crew Gruden and interesting hire should be interested to see what he does. But Connor, what can people look forward to from you over at Boston sports journal? Yeah, Evan, we're going to continue to break down the off season as we await some actual tangible news surrounding increased version on David creche. But until that happens, we'll still have you covered every step of the way. I think next week we're going to do a little bit of a dive into prospects and we usually do a prospect ranking every year during the off season, so I think we're going to commit to that undertaking next week quite the undertaking.

"I don't think it's expected that he comes back in and you get David gracey of 2019 coming on in and working his magic. I think it's an upgrade over what you have. But I also think it's kind of this harsh reality that burns up to face where they gotta figure out down the middle. Because even if krejci does come back, this is not a permanent solution. And neither is bergeron, even if both of them return on like one year deals. You still have this problem. You have to face a what the hell is your future down the middle? So again, it's just pushing the problem down further, which again, if you want to just keep running it back, fine. But you're going to have to face this problem sooner or later where you're going to have to figure out who you're going to have as your one and two C going forward because right now it's not clear at all. Right. I think that's the main con. And it's one of those ones where I don't know if it's even a con is so much as it is like acceptance of reality, right? And at the very least it gives them you can almost kind of spin it into a positive right that yeah, getting creature back and let's say it's with bergeron or if bergeron's not back, just getting a guy like krejci to fill in a top 6 spot. Is it a short term measure? Yeah. It's kind of like that meme of the flex seal guy or he smacks the flex test. Yeah, exactly where he smacks the flex save against the leak as a short term thing. Like, yeah, that temporarily fixes the bruton's top 6 center problem. But it's something that I think at this point, they're well aware they got to get on that shit, right? In terms of fixing it. So at the very least, crazy coming back gives you time and an opportunity to have a team in place that maybe can contend next year. It's again, there's a lot that has to fall there a way to have that. But there are at least you have a key spot in the lineup filled in without giving up draft capital without paying a crazy amount of money for it. And at the very least, let's say it's version of creepy back. Yeah, there'll be people who are like, what the fuck are they doing? They got these two older guys, like how much more are you gonna run back the same crew? Yes, maybe. But if you at the very least have a competitive team next year depending on what else they do and it gives you another year to reassess what you need to do in 2023 when you have a whole bunch of money coming off the books, you are able to draft another draft class that hopefully you hit on again. You have a whole lot of talented guys from 2020, 2021 that, again, we'll see how they develop, but you at least have this next wave of guys that you give them another year to develop at their own pace. It's not like you bring in creature, you're blocking a guy like, let's say, lysell, if he was a senator and you're like, all right, he's got his run. You don't really have that next center in waiting that you're delaying. So yeah, it's a con maybe in that it's kind of going back, you know, going through the same well again in terms of how the bruins get their success, but at this point, you don't really have any other option, right? Unless you want to really try to go out there and sign a guy like.

"To poke the bear episode 98 Connor 98. Nobody. Number 98, but it is my return to poke the bear. I was not here last week. The people got to talk to you personally. You answered some questions. Did so a great job by you. But now I'm back. Now you get me back, everybody. Always right with the world. I'm back. I'm back. And weirdly enough, quite a lot has happened since. And by quite a lot, we don't mean like trades and things like that, but the bruins are low key like taking over social media. I know right now is in Boston, it's the Celtics time. Give them their space. It is the Celtics time and moment. They've earned it. But the bruins are out here doing some things on social media. You got, you know, you got Bruce Cassidy at the Red Sox game. You got Derek forbert running on the beach with his dog Darla. You know, Jeremy swayman and Lina sol mark and the world championships. But the biggest of all those things is David pasternak. You know, I think David posture, we forget that these players are just like you and me. They're young, they understand social media. And you know the video that I'm talking about. You've seen it on Twitter. You've seen it on Instagram. Where David poshmark acts, David create your simple question. Are you coming back to Boston? And crazy just smiles. And they both laugh. And I will say, you know, they know what they're doing. You know they know what they're doing with that. And you know David posternak was waiting the entire tournament to do that exact thing. You know how many times I imagined pascha dog bringing that idea to create you like throughout the entire tournament, crazy like, just wait on it, just wait on it. Just wait on it. We'll do it at some point. But it is reentered the question of the conversation. And it's legitimate question. What was David krejci say in there? Do we think he was joking around? Like I have, we're going to fuck with the people like this. Or like, I know. Yeah, I mean, I think in the context of that video, yeah, I think they were ham it up a little bit. Knowing, as you said, well aware of what a video like that would do. I also think they were on one thing like a beer tour or something like that and like Prague or something. I feel like I saw something that that video was like they were on like a beer tour or something like that. So maybe they maybe threw a few back by the time they posted that video, but it's one of those things though where I'm not going to read too much into the tea leaves, right?.

"But you know, you go to the list of options. They have Charlie Coyle's, obviously, probably most likely the first guy to get a look at at a top-six role. He's getting paid like a top-six player, you'd imagine that if we fast-forwarded from, you know, 2019 and November when he signed that big contract till now, the Bruins probably like yeah, this is part of the plan is really expected him to be like this to be the to see, unfortunately may have been in between November 2019 to. Now that maybe is cast out into a little bit more doubt in terms of whether or not. He's truly a top-six player but whether it be that Eric Howell Faithfully know, Jackson a kookaburra Wildcat, they've got options, but are they better options on when you have David krejci? No, of course not, you know, it's even if Charlie Coyle, let's say he runs with it. What, what do you expect out of Charlie Coyle playing his game? That we we've seen overly need to Game season, it's still what, like, 5560 points. I mean, I'm having a lot that would be acceptable wage. That's I think I'm probably juice in those stats a little bit with like all added to his line, but you could see it happening but you're still not getting the the level of production and not value. Especially what Democrats you would have brought on a one-year deal. So maybe it's somebody look outside the market, whether it's a trade or what-have-you to try to find that to see. Maybe they're just rolling with the punches and I go for this Thursday, which it's tough man, cuz we talked all about, you know, this one. Now window and the fact that you're signing, these kind of Veteran guys like how and you know, and you know, full Burton these guys, if you assembled this roster, right? And you had David krejci back, I think you know you look at this option so far be like a minus befall us, right? In terms of like you got your top six back. You've got him a call back. You've got a lot of depth on the 3rd line and you've got, you know, possible, you know acid you can move now and Jake debrusk now you're in a spot where you're still in is when now window, but you've got this wage Whole and to see that you don't really know who's going to fit in there. You know, is Jake debrusk extendable now, because maybe you need a guy like him, who have bounced back on a third line to score you 20 goals wage. It's It's just tough cuz it's as we said, I think last time it's been a recurring theme since this off, you're going to start, it feels like there's a lot more shoes that have yet to drop in terms of the Bruins starting up their offseason. But at this point right now and if you even are mapping mapping it out, looking forward to see what the most likely plan is. I don't see, you can frame any argument in which this team as constituted right now, is any better than last year's theme which was not good enough to win the Stanley Cup. You know, I would love to be surprised and, you know, try to coil fixed and seamlessly or.

"Doing well. How you doing? I'm doing great. I'm doing great. You were at Warrior recording this Monday. So, you were there on Monday today. Technically, how was it? How was being back? Practice facility. Not too bad. Good to be back back in our usual perch up on the fourth floor watching kind of Miss like being on the actual level of the ice filgate, two more immersive experience when you walk, right? They're going to have the guys talk shit to each other and all that good stuff. But but no, it's just good to be back in the building cuz see some hockey, obviously Bruins are missing a couple months, uh, in maybe Headliners, I guess, if you want to say for Dev camp with like why sell and goes, guys like that. But still got feature Laura Brady Lyle who looked really good day one. He could be a guy who I think's, rise up the ranks so just going to be back in the building. It's a good precursor for the next season. So, oh yes, I'm excited to see what's up with Mason lohrey. That's a kid who played up this year. Had a great young age, but again, obviously was ahead with the age. If I'm, if I'm correct on that email so you can over agent. Yeah, over Ager. So interested to see how he fares this week, I will not be there. I'm not sure. There. I'm now full time at Turner. That's my thing. So I'm there now, I'm officially there, it's it sucks. I've seen all the tweets and I was like, man, I'm getting some phone bill for not being Aboriginal at my camp, but anyways, luckily we have people around like you who can who can tell us all about it, but today's episode will not have really anything to do with development Camp because there's been lots of developments elsewhere.

"It all come into the Bruins game on the honest media. My name is Evan Mera Dost here because we're having a great day a great week, it is. August development Camp is underway the season, is weirdly right around the corner? We're not right around wage. I mean I guess it's training. Camp begins in September so about another month. But feels like it's right around the corner in a normal year, be kind of right around the corner. But at any rate on today's show off was very, very focused on the position of Center. Obviously Connor and I discussed David krejci has departure what it means for the replacement should be and I brought up a point that I think's pretty good. Maybe they could be better than before with different things. Obviously losing great. She makes you worse but because of some depth signings maybe that helps you out a little bit more in areas that you really needed some help in bath. I don't know, we kind of discussed everything pretty far at length. Another thing we talked about Jack eichel, I don't know if you guys have seen what's going on in Buffalo, we went over it. It's been a mass. A complete mess. Is there a chance? The Bruins benefit from that mess? Bruins already took their star left-winger and Taylor Hall, took their starting goalie and Lita so Mark, could they take their franchise sentiment often discussed? Before we get into this episode though? One thing that is a very safe bet, it's an exciting time of year around the Sports World, the Red Sox are playing Patriots, training, camp this year. And soon the Brewers the Celtics will be back and even if you haven't made it back to Fenway, just yet, you can still be in on the action at BetOnline, no matter how the schedules change, or.

"Potential. And I think it kind of reflects for a long time with their drafting where they wanted to draft, you know, they knew they had their core in place, they knew they had the birds runs in the krejci's Chara's and the Rask's they knew was set in place. You know, you go back to, you know, the early 2000s, middle, mm, suspect, especially or 2010's, not the early 2000s, early twenties dead. Is I'm middle twenty tens where the core was in place. And they kind of wanted, you know, guys who you could project, they're stealing a little bit better. Whereas now it's you need to rebuild a little bit on the Fly again. Um, and kind of get ready for this. After this window ends, you know, injecting some speed and skill into the lineup. It sure seems like maybe lifestyle fits that bill quite a bit. Another interesting thing. I mean you know, Harrison again is another one people like a lot. You know, guy that can definitely project with full-time nhler. A lot of people like him, six, two. So good. Solid size sentiment from from the c h o. Like, finally, if anything is 2017 they got a guy from the CHL. How about so, not too bad. It's encouraging encouraging Canadian. It's almost like they really good at hockey. I know and not a lot of no local guys in this one. No local guys. Usually we're used to the local people bu and BC commit though. So that's true. That is true. Forgot about the BCB you at the end of the draft as you tweeted out everything balances out. Okay. So another thing that happened over the past week was Taylor Hall re-signed four years, six million per, we expected that, that was not something that surprised many people we both said, I think both shows last week like we expect it to happen very soon. It did, of course, after our shows ran. But we I think on poke the bear we assumed, we acted, the Wii world with it. Yeah, we just assumed it was fact and ended up obviously being faxed. Now the focus, turns David krejci know, gets to go ask later in this show cuz there's some updates with him. But with David krejci, swings comments, that last week were interested with crazy in the sense that. Yep. Obvious said we're going to respect his privacy. We've been in contact yet to make a decision, but he said, one interesting thing and he said there's no timeline and my first thought was why, why is there no timeline you signing opens this week for free agents. Why would, why would you, why would you say? There's no timeline? That's a pretty big piece to not know what he's going to end up doing because that's your second line Center. Yeah, no I mean, it's right up there with Hall. I think in terms of, you know, dominoes that have to fall before the offseason, really ramps up. He's right up there. Gave him crazy in terms of faith in gauging..

Bruins Beat

"Like, if you give him a full season, probably going to get like a third season out of this guy, probably for a couple of years, especially if she's there with Craig Smith or or whoever else. They, they find that, you know, let's say they add another like middle six guy on the wing and they slap, you know, they, you know, they say like Blake Coleman or whatever, like, even black woman, could be a guy that fits in that wine, and Craig Smith gets bumped down. So, plenty of different movies, they can make, but I think when it comes to haul home, you know, it's not like he's like this, you know, from what he said, at least it's not like he's a mercenary trying to like, you know, cash out once again like this seems like a good fit for both hotties. It's a guy that kind of dog. To your lap based on the circumstances with him pretty much wanted to go to Boston after signing with Buffalo again. Like krejci more expensive obviously, but it makes thought too much sense for them, not to not to age. Lock him up on a longer on a longer contract. Yeah, I mean, I think with the other Hall is, I'm curious if they do go for that long contract, I mean, I think it feels like, you know, he hauled said, he wants to have a home for the next few years, so almost feels like that might be a three or four-year deal. Which I actually, I think would be a better option cuz again obviously it's hard to project and you know, six years ago we never would have known the Bruins would be here long but, you know, in six years are you confident of their interest do contenders? You know, I don't know, I don't know. Again with the blackest Center def down the middle. I, I'm not really sure of anything. So I am curious how they approach the negotiations with Hall. If they go three or four years, and also, if you're, if you're the Bruins, do you want to pay Hall? Six million a year to play with Charlie Coyle? Like.

"You can do that, if you can do a shell of that every year, you will be a much better team. So it is incredible. How they just did that one month? Right there, right in front of our very eyes, right? One of our pessimistic. I remember all the week, we sat here just ragging on them, you know. Cuz they just looked they're boring and everyone week, I called a boring and people are like you, you don't know birth Taki, you know, you you should be you should be happy, you know, they're contenders speaking contenders before we I didn't wasn't going to bring this up. I just kind of remembered this. I didn't have this planned at all. I don't know if she saw this in the athletic. Mark was Aeris Lazarus. He covers the Blackhawks for the athletic. Europese, I believe it was last week kind of posing. The question is when your team is out, you have to kind of have to get some interesting story ideas. And this was a pretty cool like hypothetical kind of a debate. This is a good, it's good Barstool topic, good, you know topic too. When you're sit at the bar, have a drink juice with with a guy friends, you know, you're sitting and you're talking talking, Sports is a good one of those topics. You know what it says, what's latest? Jimmy Cagney accent for you know it's it's it's it's it's relatable, nice. Wow. The bicycle conversations, but that's actually why there's a good one. I like texting my friends about this, we go. What do you guys say? But he basically poses the question, I know if you read this, would you since mm, I would you rather be a Blackhawks shatter prove instead. Now, obviously people go all Blackhawks because they went through Stanley Cups and five years and they were the best team in hockey for like, five years. But then he also says, well, the Bruins Thursday. We're also one of the best teams in hockey every year, even in their re-building years of those two seasons, 14 15 15, 16 installed over 90 points. They were just outside of the playoffs. They weren't bad, they just weren't as good but every year they've been buyers at the deadline every year they've been you know, contenders pretty much every year. There's been the hope that they could win a cop. They did. Once they went to other times, now, you could make the case that it's extremely heartbreaking, being a Bruins fan, and I think that's that's Meredith a lot of Bruins fans, you know, every year they get their hopes up, right? Right about now and then they get stabbed in the heart wage. Come either, you know, late summer or mainly spring and summer. But it like, I'm curious to this cuz I don't know. I mean, I think it's been we've been fortunate in this town that the Bruins have been home. So good for so long and that, you know, they're always, they have always been contenders because that wasn't how they always used to be. And what do you think? I think you did you read this? Yeah, I'll take the 3 a.m. and ships. Yeah. The change was Trump everything. I think you want to be the, you want to be good every year and come up short, congrats and twenty years. "You know, we thought that would be kind of like, let's see what he's got and that's happened. Ask the other thing. The interesting part is with the guy like Taylor Hall and DJ brought this up last week, I thought was good point. If you're Taylor Hall and you want to sign somewhere, long-term going to be a winner, is this it like, if if krejci leaves, if David regy leaves and the Bruins say, we're going to sign you for six years. Thirty nine million and your sister is going to be Charlie Coyle. Are you going to be all too pleased about that? I mean nothing against coil. Yeah. But are you going to be dying at the chance? So Charlie Coyle and Craig Smith, I mean that's a globe. Buy 3rd line? Yeah I mean yeah like DJ said I think you looking at the best you have to find the best situation if your tail Hall. Well still getting paid like I think he's still going to get off a 5 5 and 1/2 6 million probably annually but you look at what David krejci brings you. It gives you the best of both worlds than that. He's going to be here. Maybe a top-six full would offer a full season if they play like this like say well could be a 30-goal 60-point guy at the minimum right like the way not I'm on a temper expectations let's say they run it back next year. I hope people don't think it's going to be off like you know nearly oats and like you're going to have this line like light in the world on fire but it's going to be a very good effect of line but you have him back with krejci, you're going to be producing points, you're going to be on a winning team your again once again not going to be the guy kind of he's still the fourth fifth best player on the team. So it's so expensive, a great situation for him. But I think that's going to be the key though. If you're signed crates, you need callback, you can't go back to another. What? What date of Chris? He's been subjected to four years now which is just driving a line, without the proper fire. Yeah. And I also got a thing to think about is where Rask gets less. Like I think Tuukka Rask ultimately you know he's been looking great and swimming were amazing and he looks like the guy the future, but you also have to temper expectations because he's goalie like the that stuff can just that she can hit the fan quick. So I do think that you do have to bring your ass back. I think that year, two years, I think if you get Raskin a two-year deal, like, that is most ideal. If you can get him at two years, A little over, maybe five per, I think then you then you have something. And I find this interesting because I think I think most people aren't bored with this and I think halak is obviously on managing, we've all said this will probably walk in and season and and go play somewhere else. He's still got gas in the tank, you know, not worried about halak, finding a place to play. But Pluto mentioned this on Thursday morning and he writes he wrote about a lot of the stuff and he said for both cap and hockey purposes. The Bruins would have a would have to consider trading Jake debrusk..

Is Krejci Still a Viable Player for the Bruins?
"Krejci is still going to be David krejci this year. He's still going to have to change plan. A forty Fifty Point Pace over a full season still be good. Still dragged along, whoever whatever Wing is he's got, but you have Charlie Coyle. Who's getting paid like a top-six guy, would you expect him to make that jump up? You expect Jackson eager to really crack through and, you know, people who thought he was going to be up like The Calder or what-have-you or at the very least, be a guy that was going to flash a lot of practice that you could see him getting a full-time job. Next year, obviously that has not panned out either a guide for both coil and Sydney, so I think you look at this team and it's subject. Forecast years from now, what to expect from his team. But you look at the way they're playing right now and the piece that they have in place. It's not out of their own possibility to think that if you co-sign crazy and and Hall again and get a lot of these pieces back, you could run it back with the same group for another year or, or to even and still be a pretty viable Contender just the way they're playing off. So I think that's the only option that brings really have at this point is bringing back David krejci. Now granted

Oh yeah. And it off last week might have been a bad matchup that match up for you might have been a bad matchup you and worse end of April. Don't always mix. Yeah, kind of like, you know, we gotta we gotta I gotta put you in the right position to succeed and mayonnaise off minutes matters. That's all that matters. Also, I'm I'm like this is recording on a Monday. So by the time you hear this, I will be fully vaccinated. But I do get fully vaccinated and about T minus less than a month. Hours. So go me. I will be regulations. Don't can't stop me. I will be getting the second shot on Tuesday, so he'll be right there with you. Listen to this, you will be getting vaccinated. So yes, lucky us. Hopefully you all can go get vaccinated as soon as you possibly can. So we can all get back to doing normal things, like a normal summer, which is feels like it's the Red Sox with the Rangers this past weekend. And looking at the crowd, it was just like, wow, there's no covert over there is, there is really no graduations to Texas for being ahead of the curve. I guess I was stunned but it is weird to see. People just kind of like Chillin. It's like damn and selfishly. I'm like I want I want that. That's what I want. We all want it. Yeah, they seem to be. They seem to be just rode along down there and checked the yeah that's Texas wage. They do their own thing. So, Bruins things are going well, things are going very well, especially for one man. There is one man on the Bruins. I mean, there's many who are doing very well but there's one that has seen a enormous jump in point. So we've been talking about it for weeks now, it's David krejci. Now, his last eleven games is 14.6 goals, eight assists, which is ridiculous. Like, this is 1 a.m. this is as good as crazy as looked since the Nathan Horton. Me Lund Lugi. Yeah. Like he, he is on another level of good and we know he has this, but it's comes down to playing with competent Winger, which he has not been doing for the past, like, six, seven years. Which begs the question in any other year, this should be amazed. Oh my God. David krejci. Finally found his left-wing he's got his right-wing. This is not a long-term success. And the truth is, is it because David krejci's, 35, and a pending UFA, Taylor, Hall's a pending UFA. So we'll start with gray G and I think heading into this year, it was really a big question of whether or not, we kind of thought this probably be his last year. I remember after the last year's playoffs, he kind of in a post-game press, or after the final game, it said to everybody, it's kind of finally hitting me that this is,.

"You know, come back to the Bruins beat on ceiling. A speedy of my name is Evan married off. You know, you guys are having a great day great week. I cannot believe it's May. I cannot believe it's freaking may. I am stunned. Wage usually obviously you'd be play-off time but this year it is not unfortunately but plans around the corner playoffs are upcoming. And in this episode Conor Ryan, who rejoined, the show, I gave, you know, the week off last week is voice sounded as good as it ever has, I would say the best. It ever has his voice this week cuz I gave him last week off load management. He, we discussed with a future. David krejci. The guys killing it right now and he probably wasn't supposed to come back this next year. But things seem to be changing now. So we discussed the future him we discussed future, Taylor Hall to grask. We also discussed whether or not they should rest guys to the playoffs kind of like I rest Conner last week with Burger on be rested, Martian pastrnak krejci, anybody who's rested who, you know, when they if and when they clinched which they will, but when they do whether that's whether that was off tonight, this is recorded Mondays, or if it's. Later in the week. Also, I hope you guys are enjoying the new intro song. I haven't even mentioned it. I mentioned it on Twitter and people gave their Insight on to what they thought it should be. Some said, Barbie girl. There were a lot of different ones though. There are a lot of different good pics too. There were really good pics and I did look through all of them, but obviously it shows. Baba O'Riley one of my favorite songs ever had to choose it. I have to enjoy the song too but I it's different. I knew the old intro song was actually not mine. That was like I had I had to use that one. That's why I am. Like it. I really didn't. I didn't like the old intro song so that's why I love. I love this one cuz I got to just kind of be creative with it in a way, you know, I get to hate it out when I want to and and put a different parts of the song. Hope you guys are enjoying the new intro song. And yeah, so that is today's episode. I hope you guys really enjoy it before we get to it though..

"One thing that is very lacking in this world. We live in a society. That has a strong narrative that we are essentially worthless that we are broken and that we need help. That's the narrative that we live through in this world. The truth is that we're perfect. The truth is that we're all here for each other. The truth is that community is stronger than anything else. And that's exactly why people have been trying to dismantle community for a very long time in different ways and so the more that we come back to supporting each other are you can call it right now. Businesses moving from people buying from corporations to people buying from people and people supporting each other and so the emergence of a personal brand. Which is what i talk about. That's mypillow my family's gotta personal brand. That's our it's like. We all live in play at home right. So the the emergence of the personal brand is that we show up and we serve people and that gives people hope it gives people it helps people understand the word worthiness whenever we understand that what we went through before wasn't something to hide from but it's something that we were chosen to go through because we were strong enough to go through it and now we can look back into the fire. We can put our hand in and we can help the next person out. We didn't go through it just because this isn't happenstance. We were chosen. And i know that sometimes that's difficult depending on the situations that we went through. It's my belief. I don't know if it's true. It's my belief. My belief is that we were chosen to through these things because we could handle it and because our hearts are strong enough to be able to look back in and stay close enough to be able to say i got you i got you and then all of these people who are living in fear who are living in misery who are living maybe they live their last day over and over and over again. Do you know what i'm saying. That there are lots of people living their final days over and over and over again and if we as the people who have gone through that same thing or not turning around in helping those individuals than what did we go through it for. it's our. it's our responsibility to do this. But in doing all of this were able to shift this entire planet because it's a ripple effect with all of us right and so we're able to shift the entire planet just by the way that we show up in the way that we serve so everything is about service and hope and worthiness and reminding people of their value instead of letting them believe this ultimate narrative that we are worthless. And we're missing something. Well see now totally moved. I'm sure i know people in watching a move by your words in how you present this.

Should say even got an emotional emotional could because he is just amazing. She is a truly something special. Something different something unique in if you don't understand that you probably need to get into her community into her world during the standard. Because i'm in there now and what she's doing to help her. Her community is just as just continues to do it. "Now, you mentioned the movies aspect of things. I don't know what's nominated. I'm not a huge move. But but because my friends I told you last I told you on Bruins week this week. I've seen Goodfellas the first time this past month. He's movie. I'm trying to, movie guy. So HBO month now and I was going to want last night. I was going to watch or Tuesday night. I was going to watch Judas and the black Messiah, which is was up this or I think that's up for something this year. I know it's it's definitely not it's cool to be able to watch a movie that is in theaters, but watching from your bedroom, but I was about to watch it and then I saw Dunkirk and I'd never seen done purpose. I Gotta See Dunkirk first just cuz it came before I gotta get out of those gray move. Dunkirk was great. Very good. I said movie theaters and it was loudest movie. I'd ever seen in my life it literally like every single time. It was like a shot went off. It was like everyone was jumping so happily you definitely lose some of that when you watching it from your living room or from like your laptop, but it's still very cool that you're able to especially HBO Max and got like friggin 5 or different like brand new movies every every week. So it's as well my monitor and I didn't I was like, you know, one of the morning I don't want to wake up my whole house and it's in the movie does have a lot of dialogue a it's kind of like parts. So, you know, you're you're up in the volume when it's slow and then a bomb goes off and it's just like there's so much audio. So I had to kind of not wake up the whole house with that one. And now he's HBO Max talk. We'll get right back into Brewing stuff cuz unfortunately Bruins aren't on HBO Max, there's unfortunate, but nevertheless the case, but Wednesday night against the Capitals. Yep. Christian grzelcyk are likely to more likely to return again. We don't know if they actually did but our guest as they did I guess they'd returned from you know, text me just for the show who do the Bruins need back more for his like or crazy. I will let you go first who they need back bumper sticker. Great. Well, I think if you look at maybe the the struggle the last couple of games I'm like kind of inclined to say that maybe Grizzlies been missed more just on the defensive side of things obviously both our keys, right?.

"Welcome in to poke the bear episode 33. There's a danger Chara episode. Look at the timing the timing I was I was preparing the show and I always check I never know the time, you know this from editing bevilacqua who edits each episode for video knows that it always I always forget the number of episode it is and so today when I was writing down that in the notebook, I was going through looking back on 31 32, today's Thursday 3, so they don't charmix is returned to the Garden last night. We were recording this before it. So obviously, we don't know what happened maybe scored three goals. Maybe he put three goals in his own net. But like I said 33 Evan Mera Dost Ki Kanna Ryan of Boston Sports Journal. Now one thing we do know that will not but did not happen last night was there was no big Ovation 4 Chara off. Ovation that we all wanted him to see wanted him to get obviously not happening last night but but fans returning to the Garden March 23rd, so that'll be 12% capacity which I believe is just over two thousand people. It's not it's like a little over two thousand people getting that I guess the branches just moved to Texas and then you can have everybody there for the Ovation just for one thing. Everybody goes all the Bruins fans take them down to Texas. Boom. You get the whole rink. I guess you can scream and yell as much as you wanted a hundred percent capacity, but how excited are you do you think this is a good start this do you think it's a good idea that fans are returning one day off. I mean, I think it's a sign of the times that things are slowly getting back to normal right where you've got, you know more vaccines being rolled out more people what's do that or herd immunity the cases are dropping hospitalizations and debts or most importantly dropping quite a bit across the country. So I think it's a positive step and was always going to be the case right where you were expecting. In a situation where more fans would be let in the building as these cases drop that was I think always the hope of things for the NHL and for every, you know, pro sports team is to have more sandwich year goes on so I think it's definitely a step in the right direction two thousand fans seems very fair. I imagine if Case is continued to drop or you know, as more vaccines get rolled out. I'm sure that number would go up quite a bit. So by the time you get to main gym in the playoffs that you know, we could be looking at what 40% 50% maybe for the guy in which I think is a victory consider, you know? Yeah, how bout how miserable the last year's been..
