"They even have something to just call Titan, so that shit looks lit. I'm most excited about that. But I think just overall, I was like, wow, like 30 minutes, we didn't really see anything that's worthwhile. And me and K has currently have a bag going on because chaos believes that Jeff kielly is going to get something the exclusive triple-A exclusive at summer's game fest. I told him, I don't think that it's only going to show anything else. It makes no sense for them to start out the gate before, you know, what was going to be E three week, you know, have a head start on Microsoft and Nintendo and everybody else and not show their banker triple-A titles, which in this case would have been God of War or some other news we got a war. I agree with which I was saying about it. If it's just not ready, don't show anything, instead of just show it then constantly delay it, but this deal was their time to show this or something else that we haven't seen before. So I don't think that Jeff keenly is going to get and exclusive triple-A title for Sony. I don't think that they would just wait on that and just give that to him for some of the game fast. It just doesn't seem feasible. So I think they're going to wait until gamescom, which is in August or Tokyo game show, which a lot of people forget about witches in September. So they would do something on either of those conferences. I don't think they're going to do it next week, so I don't know where what do you want to think about that? Do you think that there's a possibility that's only with show a triple-A title that they didn't show with the state of play next week? Or this week? I don't think that would happen. Yeah, music. He had some people in the chat. We're trying to say there's a master plan on what he's doing. There's a plan. There's a plan. I'm like, no, I don't think Sony has anything for the rest of your. I think they're out of there, they just don't have anything. It's just that simple. They just don't have any games right now to show right now. I don't think they have anything right now because of a ragnarok. That's the only thing they got left. I'm seeing a reoccurring theme here and it's starting to make more sense why both of you as well as siggy and chaos were disappointed in this state of the play. It sounds to me like you guys had expectations, so I didn't have any expectation. First of all, the state of the play has never been has there been one amazing state of the play because I can't think of wood. When they showed Spider-Man, remember when Spider-Man Wolverine, they showed all those at the same time. Yeah, that was he. That would be the lobster mines. Yeah, that was. That was one of the best ones I've had in years. I don't remember losing it because it was mostly just CG. It was cool they announced it, but it wasn't nothing that blew my mind over. And there were some other stuff too. They showed ragnarok too. That was when they showed ragnarok. That was all in one show. Yeah, it was all me. I don't remember the COVID hell in my God. Yeah, yeah, it was last year. It was a baby. Okay. Okay, then I'll give you that one. I'll give you the benefit. That's one. That's still not a reason to have high expectations. I just didn't have expectations. As long as they showed me like one or two things I wanted to play, that's all I cared. No, come on, bro we've done this for a long time. I don't have expectations for anything bro wow, what a great look online. I don't have an expectation for anything, but I will still expecting at least one banker triple-A title. They exclusive because we don't say no, not I look at it. I'm like, wow, they really didn't show any. These are all third party titles. Crazy. Dude, these are all multi plants. So that's insane. Like when you really think about it. So yeah, I will expect in the least one exclusive triple-A banger and they didn't give us anything. And like I said, by the time they got done, we'll find a fancy, which again I'm hype about, but once I got done with that, I was like, damn, like, shit. The 30 minute is really went by already, so. That's why I was more upset about it. I thought they would at least had, you know, would be like, okay, before we go, we have one more thing. And then shoulders like some more footage of God awards. That's what I was hoping for. Yeah. Yeah, I was just looking for some cool games and Callisto look fucking fire. That shit is a day one cop to me. And it did good luck, man. I ain't playing it, but it looked good, but it just. Get me wrong. The one exclusive that the PS5 does have, which is found fan 16 is gas, 'cause that should look gas. Absolutely. Roller drone with gas to me. That horizon game, it looks cool, but we still don't know the price point on the PSVR too. And I'm not gonna buy a VR for one game. I don't even play the damn. I have two VR headsets. I don't play either one. And Resident Evil four the remake, like it's cool, but at the same time, it is my favorite Resident Evil, but it is a remake, so it's like a kind of sort of know what I'm getting into. I liked what they showed. I didn't love it, but I also didn't have expectations. So I was like, eh, as long as they showed me something cool. That's all I care about. And I definitely want to play Callisto. And Street Fighter was cool too. I felt like we didn't talk about that a lot. Although that's a multi plat. I just hope that it has online, I hope that has rollback net code. Speaking of Street Fighter 6 a little bit, there was a leak for it where they showed the redesigns. This hasn't been confirmed, but there's an image going around showing the redesigns all the characters, people think it's real, 'cause the Ryu one's correct, as well as the other ones. They show it for John Lee and shit. And then they showed 7 new characters. Is this doing anything for you, Jay? Nice. Not really, not for me personally. I'm just kind of out of fighting games period, but like I said, I'm still into the FGC, so I want to see what they can do with this but apparently, you know, notice something about black women representation, huh? Oh, yeah. Kotaku put out an article. So one of the new characters is an American character. Her name is Kimberly, and then a kotaku article. They said Kimberly is the first playable black woman in the game. So the Internet's like upset with kotaku 'cause they were like, what about Alina? And then what about manat? They're both black. And at first I was confused too. I'm like, what the fuck is she talking about? And then I think what they meant to say is the first African American. The first black American, 'cause like for those unaware, like there is a cultural difference, what's the name? Jamaicans can sort of themselves like jamaicans or people from Nigeria consider themselves Nigeria. They don't consider black American culture as like a different thing. So I think that's what they meant. They meant a black American, but they should have said that. But even still, I feel like that's not that wasn't like article worthy, like putting that in there. It could have just said it's just a new girl in the game. Like, I don't know. So yeah, the Internet was kind of upset with that. We'll see how they play. This game but I have rollback Ned code. I don't care what nobody says, is World War Street Fighter 5 over here forever. I've always been a Street Fighter fan and I wanted to play that game more, but I'm never going to an FGC tournament. I will never compete in anything. I never will care that much. I just want to be the toughest guy at the barbecue and in order for that to happen. I need the Internet to work because we don't go over each other's houses anymore. I can't officially, I can't efficiently beat nomad's ass with the game lagging all the time. Or I can't just enjoy the game for what it is hopping on running a few matches. Without the game lagging all the guy day and time. And I don't know if this is true or not, but someone in my chat told me that apparently Street Fighter 5 did have rollback net code. They just coated it all wrong, so it came out terribly, and I'm like, bro, that shit that guilty gear strive has. That's what I need Street Fighter 6 to have. That's one of the biggest proponents I think to help it grow outside of the FGC and just like the more casual audience. And then also I am curious to see what they do with this hub world. Is it something you can explore? They're going to be like a little side mode where you can have some final fight type shit where it's like a skyscraper beat them up. If it's just running around like NBA, this NBA is the city, NBA two K is the city. That's just whack. Keep it, keep it. I'd rather just have rather random matchmaking. Please do not make it like two K city. There has to actually be a reason for the hub world, and I hope that there's a reason I don't know. We'll say you don't look like it, but did you see kakum actually release like a couple of threads talking about like some of the moves that they had and I don't know if you remember Street Fighter four, but they had the FA D.C. like you can cancel one attack and then go into another attack. It looks like they expanded that. It gave you like at least 5 or 6 different options. Did you see that for it? Nah, I didn't see that. Okay. Well, that's important because a lot of people did love Street Fighter four a lot because of the FA D.C. mechanic, but Street Fighter 5, you know, turned it into V triggers and a lot of people did.

"I've had it happen to myself where I'll post something and now I'm in the rumors and leaks section of Reddit. And I'm like, what? Like, that's not what there was no plan for that. It was like I was talking to guys on podcasts. We said this. Here's a tweet about it and then people ran with it. I'm pretty sure he wasn't like hey, man. Let's get an article going. But it did happen. I guess it's just also goes to show there's not a lot of news going on. Kentucky was just down by there's not a lot of gaming shit and they're just down bad dude. They just want some of that fucking, you know? I mean, May June, July, is what we used to call, like here, here's to call it cucumber season for newspapers and journalism, which is when they start printing all the nonsense stories because everyone goes on vacation. During those months. So they're very, very slow news days. So you start seeing news stories that you wouldn't see ordinarily. Then Qatar bin Qatar, why does that sound familiar? Does that Star Wars? Qatar. I mean, Qatar was the last name of Calcutta. Calcutta. Finally able to watch you guys live, have fun guessing what you, why you means, Carrick. It's the thing we already talked about it. Yeah, it was a currency. Let's see. To be fair, though, some people just want to make something out of anything these days. Correct a mundo. That is unfortunately how it works. It is unfortunately. No, man. It's almost like looking up every single thing you have on your body on the Google and finding out it's cancer lupus. That sort of way gamers are right now. One small thing, and they're like, it's lupus for gaming. Let's go check it out. It's so weird, man. It never occurred to me to talk about the fact that I dropped game pass for a few months. Exactly. What does it like?.

"So it's free day one on game pass, right? Not free. Free not free. I want to talk about one of the dumbest things I've seen in a really long time. Which was kotaku ran an article stating that game pass burnout is real. And they track down a grand total of three people who stated that they are canceling game pass because there's not triple-A games on there. And that the reason why is because they were only paying for the triple-A games. Now, bear with me here. If you're only paying for the triple-A games, would you not only be paying for the months triple-A games came out? Logic aside, logic aside. Let's pretend logic doesn't matter because this is kotaku. Game pass burnout by finding people who unsubscribed. Is not the same as like Netflix. Where 200,000 people a month unsubscribe. Where people are like the games aren't here for me right now. I'm going to unsubscribe on a play something out. I'm going to do something else. Also, a movie normally purchased is around anywhere from you can get expensive movies, but I would say normally you can find a movie for ten to $20. Normally, I think that that's fair to say, Blu-ray, maybe they're a little bit more expensive on Spider-Man. I don't know, but I usually get my movies no more than 20 bucks. Where these games, many of them are 60, even if they're not triple-A. Right? And I see them doing this, and when I see those kind of discussions, that clickbait, it's not even clickbait. It's almost like antagonism bait now. Where it's pure antagonism towards something. It's provocative for the sake of being productive. And it's provocative. And it's this really odd situation where we see that, you know, I get it that, you know, in the old days, people thought journalists mattered. But we're now getting to the point to where, you know, everybody say matters, which can be bad, obviously. We don't want everybody. Sometimes you have to earn the right to have a voice in a conversation. But you see these kinds of things and you're like, when are people going to hold those kind of situations? Was it just people on Twitter saying, hey, I'm unsubscribing from big games. And it was very few and it was like the burnout is, it was very few. And gene park, who we have had on the podcast who I loved. Gene park was one of the people who decided he wasn't going to do it. Gene park also has state announced it. Dude, it's what I say in the Discord sometimes..

"Yeah. Well, I did box burgers as well. And I did two in a row. Trying to remember what day they were. The one and only character I loved your podcast yesterday. Okay, that is, that's the boxing burger one. Your gentleman put the icing on Friday. That's really dirty. Depending on how you think about it. Watching the pot podcast live, let's go. Let's see, Alan baker's in here. Kotaku IGN and GameSpot where the garbage gaming news, the place of power. I don't know what that means. Once you get into warframe, it's a fantastic game, but that part can take a while. That's fair. I think that's the way I felt on that one. There's a lot of people who are digging warframe in here. Trying the technomancer review after seeing the technomancer game after seeing ACG's and technomancer is good, didn't get a lot of love. Is that the same people who made gothic and the English? Pretty rough. Or grateful. Great thought. They're one of those two. Despite that, yeah, they're one of those two groups. Yeah, it's the spider devs. The urogen is. Eric's review is of sniper elite 5 was fantastic playing the game of the weekend can't wait. Enjoy. I think you'll have a really good time. The reviews for sniper elite 5 made me realize I bought sniper elite four on sale and never played it. Or is good, so about 5 is better. What is Johnny's YouTube? Johnny plays live, right? Same as your Johnny plays live everywhere. Super chat, S veld in 1999, high all greetings from the Netherlands. If you were able to travel back to the NES era of video games, which game between then and now would you choose to show off to your younger self to blow your own mind? Yesterday, and I'll show myself Alex or something. What? I didn't say choose any era between now and NES. No, is that wrong? That's complete. If you were able to travel back to the NES era, which game between then and now would you show your old so which game from now would I show my old self in the NES era? Yeah. So I'm a little bit fucking stupid. Flight sim is a good one. So is no man's sky, right? Alex, because I was VR and graphics. I used to, when I was a kid, I used to go to Toys "R" Us and always, always, always want an actual VR headset, right? And I'd find these fucking shitty ass $50 VR things where you put them on and you see like 5 frames of a ninja or something. And I was like, so disappointed every time. So I'd show myself half life Alex. That's a good idea. Be sure to just play Game Boy VR. No one should play that. What about you, Johnny? Any game? I would go with horizon forbidden west..

"Where the assumption is, really, that if you're going to play warframe, then you need to either have a friend who already plays it and knows all the ins and outs who can sort of bring you in and school you on it or you need to join a guild or like a clan where they'll school you on it and bring you up and sort of shepherd you through the content as you get access to all the different systems that are in the game by now. Alrighty, abzi, what have you been playing? I played and beat 13 sentinels on my switch. Goddamn. This is one of the best narrative written experiences I've ever played like the way the way they tell the story was like fucking 5 head gigabyte. It was really, really a really good experience really fun. There's like two sections of it. So there's the visual novel section where you go around and you talk to people. And then there's the section where it's like a real-time strategy with the pause. Which might throw people off because it's kind of weird looking. But I found it pretty fun. There's three different difficulties for it. I like the strategy in it. It's kind of it's pretty satisfying. But yeah, the story is just to really, really good story that I played. It took me about 30 hours. Give or take. So, gotcha. Anything else? There's a sniper elite on the PC. And fired up some dark messiah, I don't know where for a bit fucked around with that's pretty much it. Excellent. A couple hours of V rising and a little bit of Siberia, the world before. You stop that though, right? Because of the frame rate you said? Yeah, Siberia runs like S on my PC, like a frame rate of 20 FPS, that pretty much kills all enjoyment. Yeah, especially on that game. I think it looks good, but it's supposed to be cinematic. So the very impact of these cinematic doesn't matter what graphical settings I dropped it down to like 7 20 PU, low resolution, still 20s. So I don't know what's wrong. It's for artistic purposes. That sucks. Well, it can't be because it's stream deck plays it perfectly. Yeah. There you go, stream deck coming in, coming in for the win. All right, what.

Not even talking to you. Too early. It's true. No way. Are we actually are we actually? All the time. All the time you've been you've been talking shit about the patrons and we've been live that entire time. We're talking about how bad loss of us do and Final Fantasy 7 remakes and sup everybody, this is Carrick with ACG and I'm here with Johnny and reg and silver and abzi. International podcast. Nice. Who left me yesterday in the lurch in my battle against the Luftwaffe against the Nazis. He's like, amen. We'll play in a little bit. I gotta eat. I'm like, okay, man, just ping me as soon as you can. Three, I got three hours, bro I got three hours to play. And he fell asleep. I was eating and I was watching Stargate. He carved up he fell asleep while the Nazis were attacking me. No carbs among kiddos. And I was watching Stargate, and then I slept. He just, man, it just makes me so angry. It makes me so happy. Because it was episode about the talk and I was like, fuck me. Makes me so angry. I had to hold off. And I did. I held my own, but still, I was quite disappointed in you as a person, and as a good game. Good kid. We'll be talking about that. We'll be talking about PSVR two and the fact that we've got a Sony event coming up, two Sony events. We have whatever the state of play is. Then we also have a special event from them. We got Xbox special event coming up. We have looking here a bunch of games that release. We got sniper elite, which we'll talk about. We have a kotaku thing that came up about the burnout of Xbox game pass has begun and I want to talk about kotaku and basically the complete and sheer excellence they have as a writing. "I think critics always agree or disagree because I do believe that the best game of the world will still have somebody say it's shit. That's just the way it is. Right, for sure. So I never worry about diverging. You'll see that all the time, people like to pretend that they're like it's new. They'll be like, there's divergent reviews. Like, I don't know if they just learned the word divergent, but that's been one. There's always been me who doesn't like breath of the wild. There's always been a me, who doesn't like new and rich doesn't look like that? Yeah, I also don't like it. I understand it's a good game. It's just not for me or Death Stranding, right? So there's always death training. But you get my drift. There's, you know, other than this, I'm just joking. But you get those. And just lately though, I've seen shit and reviews the far cry thing really did bother me. And I actually have stopped for a while. You even asked me, you said do you re listen to your reviews, blah blah blah I'm like, no, I don't really need to. I know what I said. But like people will ask if I watch other people's and I gotta say lately, I've really stopped because a lot of times I question. Everything. I just don't know why things aren't mentioned or how they got to something. Like, and I don't mean a score that disagrees with mine sometimes. Yeah, there's some specifics, for example, the far cry thing like a lot of people just didn't mention shit that happens in the later game, and I'm not saying you don't, I'm not saying you have to beat every game. I absolutely am not there are some that you're just not gonna be able to. But just at least say that so that we understand that maybe something that does happen, you maybe didn't see or whatever. I don't know how that works, but it's happening a lot and it's also happening where I feel like people are not rushing reviews, but maybe they're just, it's more about them or something. I don't know how to describe it, man. It's just it's becoming more about the brand of them versus the game. And sometimes I'm like, when I listen or watch or read a review, I'm like, this is more about IGN than it is. Well, for example, that's a perfect example of the one that kotaku had that crazy shit about a couple months ago where half of the review was based on like real life stuff. It had nothing to do with the game. They were like, just so you know, it was an Activision game. It wasn't called it was an Activision game that came out. What the fuck was it? But they spent a good deal of time talking about Activision as a company and not the game at all. And by the time you finally got to it, they were like, oh, there's some guns and some guys do some stuff. But the game's a 6, because that's not very good. And you're like, but what's not very good? I don't understand because their entire first part was like, and you should remember that Activision's in trouble for blah blah blah..

"He's been in there, creative. He's been in there. It's a great place and it does help out, especially as YouTube is, I don't know what YouTube's doing right now. So if you guys get a chance, throw a couple bucks in. I think what do we do? Discord's 5 bucks, and it is true. There's a little bit of money you gotta pay. But hopefully the reviews have saved you 60. On a shit game or found your cool game. I even even if you don't join patron I'm hoping that somebody out there is like, man, I didn't know about kingsburgh, or some other, you know, smaller title that you got a chance to play. And I hope you don't blame me for stated to K two's review because I still like that game day one. Even though it's much better now. But anyway, I would really appreciate it if you guys check it out. It does help the channel. Thanks to these guys, Johnny, what are you streaming? So tomorrow I'm streaming the second expansion of Final Fantasy 14. I'm starting that. It's called storm blood. This is the second expansion. And I'm still going strong and I got the MMO bug and it's, you know. And dude, I'm diversifying because now I was doing DPS and healer and now I'm also doing tank. So now I got the trifecta and kind of learning the different roles. Another game and getting a lot of money is worth out of. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I think when you look at like the amount of money that game, most MMOs that are free to play and stuff like that, I definitely give money into, but that in particular men, that game, a lot of people like that sucker. Like it is crazy to see the turnaround on that title and how many people like it. Especially if you remember how it launched. That's what I was just going to say. And we can say some of it's because a wow, I'm sure some of it is the degeneration of that entire royal house. That's another thing one of these days we should talk about. It's like what happened there. I mean, because they've haven't they shed 50% of their huge amount of subscribers? Yeah, they're back to what was the subscriber numbers from 5 years ago or something? "Where you're like, wow, the price is ridiculous for game, especially first party games. I think when game pass first came out, people were saying first party games, there's no chance. It just doesn't make sense that they will be on game pass. So I'd say game pass is pretty close to what I'm talking about. But I would love for a company to just come forward and be like, I mean, for example, like I said, Sega Saturn, they shipped you a free game because they were Sega was unhappy. With the performance slash look of their game. They were like, you get a free game. That to me is pretty awesome. And we just don't. I mean, we don't see it. Unless it's the company, we just don't see it. I mean, I don't even know if an example, I guess. Where we do see it. I don't remember what game it was. There was one that launched so terribly that they said, okay, we're giving you a refund, or if you're willing to stick with us, we're giving you another game for free. Oh, yeah, see. Though that comes on the heels of a shit, problem, I do like that's the best way to restore confidence is to not just buy it back, but say also. Well, no man's sky is a good example of that. I mean, it is. It's unfortunate that we got there, but I don't think no man's sky. Here's a question we can end on this. I have a question for you guys. Would no man's sky look the way it does right now if no man's sky succeeded day one. No. Exactly. Right. So success and they would have moved on to so we should shit on every game that comes out in the hopes that it becomes the next. What's the heuristic where do you think silver? Let's say the game came out 'cause I left that two open ended, but no man's sky comes out and it's got sandworms. And the ability to do multiplayer, I think that was the basic promises, but still nowhere near where it is now. Do you think we would have, do you think it would have it would be where it is now? "If they were to create some kind of framework this is actually the 6 year anniversary it is. It is. It's recently in the Discord. Yeah, it is. Posting a thing, but yeah. In the Discord ridge, it was like we didn't celebrate man. We should all wear. Not yet. It's not yet. Hawaiian shirts. Took a picture and it's like I say, I'm open in the Discord and register like all right. Yeah, those are the very first posts in our display. Yes. Awesome. But I could be wrong. Disagree with me. I mean, I like some of the collections we've seen. I mean, one of my favorites were the first decade of command conquer was sort of EA put out the first decade collection, which sort of gathered all the command conquer games up until that point, including all of them that come in Congo renegade and all of the offshoots into one big pile. And it was really nice way to convenient way to go back and actually be able to play command conquer renegade. In a digital version, there wasn't a dispersion. So I appreciate that. And they made compatible with Windows to almost said 2000. What we're on right now. Okay. Yeah. Gotcha. So you could run them. Yeah. They did. I mean, that to me is awesome. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think there's something to be said for exposing these games to people who have never seen them or played them, right? Also, like, never gotten who never had the chance to. And see, maybe they can see the growth of the serious. Like how it evolved from the start to the finish for better or worse. So I think there's something to be said for like collections like that. But but there is also something to be said on the other hand where I mean, you do see it with some companies where especially supermarkets here, like it's like every day is their birthday. Like every day it's like a birthday sale, right? Yes. Yes, absolutely. Same shit. Yeah. Where it gets a little much. It gets to be a little much. But I think the 30 year anniversary of Mortal Kombat. I think the probably should have been 25 years. Yeah. Right. But that's a long time, I guess. Just but yeah. I love the idea of creating something around the fans. I would love to see them. Companies will take it over. That's the company taking they'll fucking know and maybe you're like organized like a Mortal Kombat tournament or something. Right exactly. That's what I was trying to say. If you were to create some kind of framework where you make it easy for fans to do something cool to celebrate it, you know, maybe give out some cool prizes or like elevate people who have been playing it for a long time. Plague soul says he wants a 6 year LaserDisc collection of the international podcasts. First of all, we don't even have it. Jim el says 6 years since I found ACG and the international podcast from co optional. Yeah, that was a long time ago. The last step is with the pool panic. That's depressing. Yeah..

"So I guess the beginning any games that you played because like new content came out or you saw a streamer YouTuber played. That I guess caused you to come back to again. I got one. That self dead cells a game I love got some recent content and it's awesome. It's just a great game to jump back. That makes sense. Yeah, that makes sense. I could see no man's sky possibly having been that. Yeah, because I did return a no man's sky and I don't remember how. It was most likely news because I don't get a chance to watch streamers. But so it's probably news, but I would say, I may have watched, yeah, I probably don't see one of the problems with streamers is they're bitrate is so bad. So like a lot of times it doesn't, I want to see a trailer because I'm hoping the company's trailer looks better or they walk through. So usually I'll go to YouTube and watch like a what do they call developer walkthrough maybe or something? I can play it for the last update as well, right? If I remember right? Yeah, yeah, but I think it was news. I mean, you know, yeah, I don't think I don't think I watch many wait a minute. No, azrael in showed me split it. No, that wasn't this year. That was like two years ago. Sorry. So nothing this year. Right. Yeah, I've gone back to games, but not due to those specific reasons. Right. I don't watch any streamers. I stopped by now and then for people I know, but I don't like watching anyone outside that. I appreciate it. I see you. Exactly. For me, it's mostly steam itself. News on steam or recommended games on there. Sometimes it actually lands it. Really? Yes, it used to be. It's gotten better seriously. That's never hit for me, man. That's so. But it sounds like rarely for you, too. Technically. Yeah, just so mostly crap. Yeah. I'm trying to think of the last time I logged in and wasn't like, why is this? Or 'cause it's a lot of times the zeitgeist big game. Or maybe there's zeitgeist in indie game. Well, the rail, for example, I discovered like that. Oh no shit. Oh, okay. And scarlet hollow, which is also like a super indie game. Is that how you're finding these indie games, silver? Are you the front page? Does it ever tell you? Go play this depressing thing? No. No. I mean I had her. I don't really use, I don't really use streamers, but I do actually use YouTubers, like there are a couple of YouTube channels that help me curate and sort of cool. All the stuff that comes out every single week. Like one of the really good ones is one called I dream of indie, which I think I've mentioned before. Which is one of the ones I go to quite often. They do reviews constantly of.

"Crossover cable so you could plug the PC to pieces. Oh yeah, I do. I do it because I always had the wrong one. I always had one. And I could never figure out, I remember my friend Simon, he was so tired of me because I was just like, I don't get it, dude, it's the same cable. He's like, no, no, to twisted fug and, you know, they don't need a router. And I'm like, that's the same. I was so mad. I was like, if they're gonna do that, they need to have a different plug, you know? It's like dual port and HDMI have in the same plug. It didn't make sense to me. I had a failed attempt at modding a Wii. I didn't even model we. Yeah, they're also strips. No shit. Okay. I bought only one 360 and then red ringed. Well, you just learned Had to return three PS4 controllers to get one without stick drift. Yeah. Speaking of that, everything has stick drift now, right? Yeah, my PS5 comes rollout has stick drift and it's like a year old. So yeah. The PS5. Yes. That one? Oh, shit. Damn. Man, that sucks that absolutely sucks. Speaking of what else sucks, view count. Go, check out my video on September. I didn't get a lot of views on that because YouTube fucked me up. So if you guys like want to talk about September games, go check it out, please, I would hope the channel. Help the channel minstrel. Thanks to the patrons, by the way, you guys are now pretty much the reason why I'm still able to create videos because YouTube hates me. And here's what's weird. All these, did you guys see the big YouTubers coming over? Yeah. And chip man. Not tit, man. That would be a weird name. Yeah, it's Tim. Tim Tim Tim. Something that didn't. Okay. Whatever. Anyway, people are coming over to YouTube and it's so funny 'cause a lot of people are like, yeah, there's no hate raids on YouTube and blah blah blah. I'm like, what? Yeah, because it's always there. It's literally all wheels there. That's exactly right. By the way, is deleting people because I've said it too high because you do get a bunch of racist bastards. Like it does happen. So I'm hoping a lot of these people coming over aren't, you know, under the impression that it's some magical it's, in fact, it's a cesspool. So I don't think you should expect any thing like super above and beyond. But I do hope that we do see YouTube switching some stuff in the tax manager. Yes, on this mistake, guys, okay. That was, I guess a slip right there. Oh, Tim the tap man? Yeah, not the Titan. I'm sorry. Kathman doesn't make any sense to me, so I would have legitimately thought titman was more correct than tap man..

"Because I've even known that as I adjust what I say in patron even on the first page, you'll get more or less people subscribing your patron. So like if you're out of the out of the box and you're like, I'm here standing up, which some of that stuff I do have in my patron, but I've sort of like, you know, written a little bit more professionally as I've looked at it and been like, man, you sound like a jackass. But it is true that the more you freak out. The more it does pay off. I think right now that we're also getting a pushback because I did see, I don't think that person probably felt the pushback, but I did see a lot of people on Twitter who were in the industry being like, dude, that was just uncalled for. Which I thought was like I remember you guys know I like Ryan McCaffrey a lot. I think he's a very good writer for IGN. I think he's one of the great interviews. And he stated, I don't like to talk negatively about other institutions in gaming, blah blah blah, but today's is really a hard day not to. And he was I mean, it was a response to that. And I like that. It's like, you know, we're going to sort of point at you but not at the same time, but it seemed like a lot of people were sort of anti that maybe we'll get to that point. Then it'll be too soft, right? Then we'll just let everything happen. We'll be like, I'm not gonna bitch about anything. Everybody's everybody's free to do everything. "I mean, that sort of purity test, I think, is completely counterintuitive and counterproductive. And doesn't look at the reality of how people live and live their lives. Yeah, it's aggressively ignorant. It's on performance. Perspective. Yeah. It's purposefully ignorant. Which I hate and like I know some people I don't have a huge Twitter following. I got like 40,000, but it's not huge. It's not as big as it could be because if I do find somebody like lying or being I'll just be like, dude, shut the fuck up. Like shut and I know I've had people be like, I can't really follow you because you tell people to shut up. And I'm like, but seriously, did you read it? Like, how are we doing one purity test over here and not over here? How does somebody not see that and say, there's no chance that that's adding to the conversation at all. And you're somebody bitching over here. I do want to read solo sword says Jim Ryan must have got moonwalking instructions from Michael Jackson because he's always walking his statements backwards. I'm assuming that's the writer of this. I don't usually go after the writer themselves because kotak is the brand. You know, like, it may be the writer, I don't know. I don't track that, but I did, I did see the article I did not look at the writer, unfortunately. One of the reasons why is because I think we'll also always piss somebody off. So I'm a like this person. So instead, I'll just bitch about the fact that it's up there. It was dumb versus going after the person. I mean, I'll go after a person, you know, Randy pitchford kind of stuff. But I mean, I think most of us at some point. I just don't even hate him. It's just some of the decisions you see and he's the one saying I'm the one making them. So it's like, okay, well that's different. I don't know, man. It's weird. We're in a weird state right now with, I mean, people will call something a review. It's obviously not. They'll attack other people's stuff, obviously in a really stupid way of doing it. And I don't know. I guess that's where we are. I don't know any other way to fix it. There's no, like, what are we how do you fix that? Could talk is big enough, they're bigger than me. Like, there's no way to fix it. They're not watching the podcast. You can probably reach out to these people, but I assume they're jackasses. You know, right? Likely. Well, I think, you know, they're getting backlash so that maybe Johnny, it puts it digs them in, man. Yeah. Well, it's got to send that out there. That's what I hate. It means I'm right. And Johnny is what I'm saying is backlash usually makes a person say that means I'm right because look at me, I'm getting backlash. Sorry. They doubled down. Yeah. I apologize. That wasn't fair to you. They're more like they're probably more like look at how many people still have that wrong belief..

"I mean, I appreciate bringing this stuff up, but I'm not really fond of purity tests in that way. Never really have been the idea of no true Scotsman fallacy that you're not a proper review or if you don't. Like abide by this exact Doc or whatever. I think I mean, yeah, I think you can definitely, like I said, you can definitely bring these things up into review if you bring them up in context. And why it's relevant to bring it up as part of as part of the review. If you feel like if it's something that you feel like, colors your perception and experience of the game, then it's relevant to the review. For my part, but I don't think it's something that necessarily has to be there if it's not relevant for that reviewer in question. Yeah. I mean, I personally personally I'm probably not going to play far cry 6, at least for a while. Not because of like a moral decision in regards to ubisoft, but because right now, as my situation is in terms of politics and the real world, I would be deeply uncomfortable playing far cry 6. That's fair. Where I would much rather play dragons dogma or pathfinder or something else that would make me feel that uncomfortable, politically, for those reasons. So I probably won't be playing it at lunch. I may be playing it later on. But that's just my part. And that's just by my perspective on it. Yeah, I mean, yeah, I would agree. I don't have much to add other than it is weird because I'll have people say stuff like Carrick, you shouldn't cuss or you shouldn't joke or you should do this exactly like somebody else. And I'm like, dude, I can go back and look and see your comment where you said you're one of the only people I trust because you're independent. And it's like you want me. You're only as independent as you can be until we stamp you the fuck out. So you're like everybody else? Yeah. That is truly the way it is. And people always get on me. I've had people be like, oh, the reason why this review didn't do well is because you had 2.3 extra charges or whatever. And I'm like, maybe, but guess what? That wouldn't have affected reviews. "Just be like, hey, here's one of our premier games. Premiere. Okay, we can. Oh yeah, freaking. You get my drift. Yeah. Let's talk about far cry 6 real quick. So many of us were asked to do previews, I've stated very clearly that the online is not great for me with ubisoft. I don't know if they're using servers made of paper fucking mache or what those things say they're ping is great and then you start playing their game and it just doesn't work. And I've tried a couple and not been super happy. So I was like, I'm not gonna do far cry 6 because it's a shooter. And my belief is, what am I gonna say? Like 'cause this is weird. Bear with me here, people. They're having you preview a game and add a feature that will not exist, which is remote play. If you get my drift. So like it would be adding something in that it just screw everything up. I wouldn't know exactly how everything was going to work. So I did pass up on it. And we got a lot of previews, a lot of people saying that it was far cry 6, right? It's more far cry, which I would hope. That is what it is. But then kotaku released an amazing article just riveting writing that basically stated, you guys all previewed it wrong because you didn't preview it exactly like we want you to preview it, which was to basically bitch about ubisoft and all their business stuff. And this has come up multiple times, where it's like and so if you talk to it was like you guys aren't good if you're gonna preview. This was the title of this fucking article, man. If you're gonna preview at least do it right. Right? Now, technically, I can say a game supposed to be 60 FPS. And if somebody's playing a game on a monitor that only runs 30, technically, I could say, that's really not a good representation. Because the game is actually, like, it's said it's something else. This was just like you don't have the same belief as we do. So therefore you did it wrong. They got a lot of shit. But we're looking down the barrel once again of like ubisoft release into a game about Cuba that's not Cuba, but it is. Right? It's about a dad, mistreating his father. It's a political as you get, then you be something says we don't do political, which we've already said. This one they did, right? Well, they did. Yeah, sorry. I apologize. Yeah, in the past they did. I just feel like I will diss on something if I don't like coverage or whatever, but.

Yeah, just been revisiting that and it's been really, really interesting to see how I had a head of the time. It really was for a show like from the 70s some of the issues that it handles. And the depths of some of the characters like Charles Winchester is still like one of my favorite characters of any television show. Yeah. Like, it's just the levels that show goes to is something that has really wasn't really seen on television then, and it's rarely been matched since I think. I would agree. Yeah, I think it'd be hard for people to watch it now. They wouldn't get it. Unless like, I mean, not everybody, but you know what I mean. It was a different time prior to like Afghanistan. I was watching. I mean the first couple of seasons are having aged well. They're extremely sexist. Towards women. But it does, it does improve with the latter seasons. Marketly so. Like market hooligan is kind of a one note character, the first couple of seasons, but after major burns after Bern's leaves, she starts sort of become our own character and really and really sort of becomes her own. So yeah, the show really does sort of evolve over. It's been for the better. Anybody in chat, what shows have been watching what books you've been reading music, new music suggests to me some music. Riot Games Loses Alienware as LoL Partner, Denies Allegations Towards CEO

"So we need to talk about Ride game CEO and the allegations against him on the dreams and the sports minute from E Sports Network have to say my last two weeks in the show. Certainly haven't been overly wage doesn't and today is no different. Here's the background on January 7th. Former Ride Games employees Sharon O'donnell filed a lawsuit against her former boss right game CEO Nicola rent in that lawsuit O'Donnell alleged that Lorenz had created a hostile work environment and had fired her after she denied his sexual advances among other issues that lawsuit is still ongoing but this week sought a big piece of news around it. The first was Alienware a major partner of the Legends Esports cutting its deal with Riot games short. According to Jacob Wolfe now at. E sports that deal was set to continue through January 8th 2022, but Alienware wanted to terminated ten months early wolf also has reported that ride games image impacted by allegations like the ones with the rent as well as the ongoing discrimination lawsuit home. And the neon controversy of the last summer played an important part in Alien, we're leaving the deal early right games is still in that lawsuit with many former female employees around sex discrimination in the workplace is an issue that came to light with the Kotaku article from 2018 Ride Games is currently focusing legal efforts in that case on pushing the lawsuit to arbitration the neon controversy centered around right about accepting a sponsorship from a new city in Saudi Arabia at faced immediate backlash from fans casters and parts of the community do to Saudi Arabia's poor record on human rights in a variety of different areas. But the most topical impact on Ride Games image is those allegations towards threat yesterday right games announced that the right games board found no wrongdoing by the rent and recommended no sanctions following a third-party investigation the recommendation of no sanctions came from three people doing the investigating of a law firm to review of the allegations that law firm was hired by Riot but it was not the same Law Firm that is representing them in the case against O'Donnell the three people reviewing the law firms report were young May Moon a Harvard Business School professor and part of riots board as well as two unnamed male c-level Executives at 10 sent the Chinese company that owns Riot for his part. Loretta has denied the allegations in a company-wide email while O'Donnell's lawyers have pledged to follow this up in court.

Riot Games CEO Faces Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Harassment, Misconduct

"Games CEO has been accused of sexual harassment and misconduct by a former employee and they're investigating internally. I'm at dreams and this is the Esports minute from you Sports Network racking said money issues with gender discrimination in the workplace starting with a 2018 article published by Kotaku that detailed the culture of sexism it right games developer has basically been in court the entire time multiple lawsuits have been filed against the company and one lawsuit was settled out of court for ten million dollars and I think most people thought that was the end of it but after being examined by California state agencies found that the woman might be entitled to as much as four hundred million dollars. So the women pulled out of the ten million dollar settlement then they got new legal counsel. And now they're back in court. The ten million was not paid out and the case has not been settled that case is still ongoing with Ride Games trying to push more women into arbitration and prevent a jury trial but last month another case was opened up against the wage. Sharon O'donnell vs riot games, Nicolas Le rent or rent is the CEO of Riot Sharon O'donnell was a former executive assistant for the company who worked closely with the rent during her time O'Donnell accuses the rent of creating a hostile work environment with allegations of unwanted sexual advancements demeaning comments about O'Donnell's femininity and termination for not reciprocating his advancement Riot games naturally disputed that characterization of her termination. There are specific grievances in the filing. I cannot go over them all in this format, but they include the page as you know, Donald whether she could quote handle him when they were alone at his house and quote and there were also according to O'Donnell questions about her underwear according to the lawsuit when O'Donnell refused became angry started removing work responsibilities and eventually terminated her contract right game says that O'Donnell was terminated after over a dozen complaints from employees and external p.m. There's no ride games claim to be changing their culture for the better after that Kotaku article the rent even published a blog post titled the buck stopped with the CEO where he pledged to do better off clearly Riot games has not worked through all of their issues with this case and the other one that is still ongoing. We will update you more on this show as these cases progress.

They've finally caves and agreed to allow PS four cross play with other consoles. This is kind of in this. Funny saga it's great. I think it's great. I mean, it's been a really funny saga over the last. I don't know when it was exactly when they accidentally turned on cross play for a game, and then turn it off immediately and kind of expose the fact that they could just do this basically at the drop of a hat. And then any actually very, very strange way any explanation of, oh, it's so logistically difficult to make four talk to you next bucks, total horsh it. And so you know, people have been coming up forever, and I think I mean with fortnight, their statement was regarding fortnight and they're saying, okay, okay, fine, coal. We're going to let people play for night with people in other consoles because every other system is able to play with other systems, but the PS four version of fortnight wasn't. And really the worst thing about that was I don't know if you remember this when I when when four-night came out on switch, which was when a lot of people were waiting for it to come out on switch. If you had the game already installed on your account on like your Epoca cast on PS four this, you couldn't. Play the game on switch or you couldn't link your account. And that was just such a fuck you on top of the fact that you know if you had it where you couldn't play with anybody else. So to me that at least it just seemed like there was no way they weren't going to do this. This did seem inevitable, and, but it's pretty funny just their language about it. There's something this represents a major policy change and there's all of this. We have found a way forward and it's like someone finally decided on a boardroom and said, okay, guys, look, we have to do. Let's flip that suggests we accidents flipped before, let's go. Let's flip it for real. So Steven has been sort of running down quotes from various people who make these other games. I think that everyone has said so the rocket league developers Minecraft activision who make destiny in call of duty.

E3 2018: Assassin's Creed Odyssey Brings Ship Combat Back

"Most importantly i don't i don't wanna go through game by game 'cause they shed a lot of stuff but most importantly assassin's creed odyssey is looks like it's going to be astounding i can't wait to play that game on that you've become an assassin's creed fan boy over the last it's because it's become more of an rpg and i'm always i've always been a huge rpg person and assassin's creed origin was basically in our pg and this is even going further with dialogue cheese and romance i mean this one has accurate plan where origins didn't really so yeah that that to me makes me most excited about it that you can are you hyped about what you saw like did you like the trailers i mean playing a woman look school dialogue options looks cool i'm totally playing cassandra oh yeah obviously i think that everybody will i saw a lot of very like thirsty responses to her on all over the spectrum on twitter which was very enjoyable men a lot of extremely attractive people in all of the soft games this year which sort of crack active pirates attractive pirates really just everybody's very good looking and ubisoft gains looks cool i like the idea like socrates coming on grilling you for this made in a game like maybe all would benefit from socrates should just appear in every there's the socrates section before the credits where he comes out sort of quizzes you over the morals of your decisions so you decided to sacrifice that purse why did you do that and you have to justify kind of a cool idea and it looks.

Square Enix announces The Quiet Man with the worst trailer of E3 so far

"I'm ben they choose new announcements both of them were new ip's with we're names and cgi teaser trailers that show it nothing trailer for the quiet man wasn't cgi it was live action and live action show and then game play so because apparently so this is the quiet man is one of the new games i show this show to actors and he's apparently you're the protagonist is deaf and then he's sort of beats the should've some dudes but yeah i guess that game is going to be like movie like experience they described as i'm going to read the quote from their youtube description a cinematic experience will take about as long as a movie to watch and will nix live action and game play so who the fuck knows with that one sounds like a disaster yeah any company that i would not trust to pull something like this office yeah i mean i do like games that experiment with like sound stuff and a game where you play as a deaf character could be really interesting in some ways maybe but have you seen whose do have they said is developing me not the trailer was so i mean not to no pun intended but the trailer was so tone deaf is like here's this white handsome dude coming in and like harassing bunch of hispanics who are just doing nothing and it was just very very bizarre trailer absolutely showed nothing and then the other thing babylon's fall or something like that was so weird it was a trailer that just showed a bunch of fake historical.

Valve Removes 'Active Shooter' Game and Its Developer From Steam

"You wanted to do well because the more millions of switches get out there the more publishers will be like oh man i have to put my game on this platform and therefore the bigger the library will get and you'll start seeing more and more ports of third party games and all sorts of other good stuff so yeah and i'm sure they'll have nintendo have other cool stuff for this year at e3 that we don't know like have no idea that's right metro prime yeah for i'm village metro tram trilogy on switch that's good a good expectation and good prediction all right news item number three valve removed school shooter game from seem so there's this game called active shooter that came out on steam recently and it was about like being an active shooter let me out of school not just not just any active it was you would be i'm just looking at the mass shooting it was like you're holding a gun and you play as a so you can switch between like shooter or swat team member who's trying to stop the shooter or a civilian and the trailer just has someone like murdering teachers in a school and people were just like calling for a to be removed from steam and criticizing it because it seemed to be in bad taste and the developers of the game said this game does not promote violence we wanted to promote awareness and valve removed it believe this week they just removed it.

Uber crash reportedly caused by software that ignored objects in road

"Is a new way to experience any content so the two things work together well you're like well we've got these new weapons and these new whatever's systems and there's new stuff to do and the new level cap to pursue so you'd want to have both i think if you're playing destiny i don't think it would be an optimal experience to be playing devotee right now and not have bought the expansions though when you look at what's actually in the expansion it feels a little bit like what this is kind of weak so you know it's it's mixed kind of just for the privilege of continuing the play destiny to that's this is this is how destiny one fell in its first to subscription than you paid forty bucks for the year long subscription rights exactly thing so it's it's not the thing that's going to bring people back i think it's pretty clear by now based on the early buzz from the community summit and also the stuff that september is really going to be the moon and they have this big mode that they're teasing knitting mode and i'm i would imagine there's going to fucking finally be some new kinds of enemies in this game which is the thing that bummed me out the most about this even though i the game still fun but man it's funny hive again i'm like well they teased those.
