"Bloomberg intelligence. And Eric. You know, I think municipals when we think back to, you know, kind of march of 2020 municipals are kind of the canary in the coal mine. If you will, in terms of saying, Hey, there might be some problems out there economically. From this pandemic and the potential for this economic disruption that people were thinking about back then what's the municipal bond telling us now about this Delta variant? Good morning. So you're absolutely right. You know, higher municipal is definitely we're sort of a signal that there was some fracturing of credit not just in the text in space, but sort of larger. Corporate space as well. And we're sort of seeing hearken back to that of late and we can really point to spread widening and how your communities over the last month and a half Certainly not a huge riding. We're talking about 30 basis points since mid July, but it's really the first time we can point to any sort of spread widening and I have many since March of last year, so it is definitely something we want to pay attention to. In terms of, uh, affects economic effects. Is that a problem here? I mean, we've seen so many people downgrading drastically. Third quarter estimates. We just had Constance Hunter on She had a high sixes and down to the twos. Yeah, I mean, obviously, there's a lot of factors that go into sort of the high young beauty index that play into the larger economy. You have a lot of private activity bonds, namely airlines, and that is one spot that continues to show weakness. You know both domestic travel and business travel, and it certainly has been exploring team as Delta cases have spread across the country, so we can definitely say that the larger economy definitely weighing on the high yield text them. Is it regional at all? Eric because there are certain parts of the country that are dealing better with this variant than others are receiving regional Read originality. You know, across the board s a traffic is down. But, you know, anecdotally, we can certainly point to. You know, Las Vegas seems to be certainly doing fine as far as getting travelers in the door. But you have pockets in Florida, which are really seeing the food spike up, and they haven't really rolled over yet. So you've seen sort of the travel into Orlando sort of You know, taper off a bit now whether we can point to that and say it's strictly because of data were also back to school effect. It's really hard to parse out, but we can points of regional weakness in some areas. So what do you what would you advise investors to do right now? You know, I think it's good to take a cautionary step when it comes to hire municipals right now and see if it is a chemical, the larger trends. You know, some of this could be a positioning issue. You know, this has really been a winning trade for a lot of people for well over a year. And you know you're heading into the fourth quarter of 2021. You know, it could be a situation where a lot of people are just taking the winning chips off the table. Or it could really be a situation where they're seeing the writing on the wall there saying themselves Hey, we don't want to get caught flat footed one with the keeper situation that could be announced at any time. And two if cases do spike up, as we are anticipating into the fall in winter. What are we seeing in terms of the kind of the funds flows? I mean, it's just been a story of tremendous flows coming into the Mr Bond markets. That's still the case. It. Certainly So is the case and really, that's going to be there. You served that nail in the coffin. And if we see a meaningful pullback in fund flows, especially from retail to sort of corroborate some of the spread widening that we've noted No, I'm tone unless that really keepers off. There's definitely defining sort of cat to how widespread can get because, you know, look, we're still in a situation where there's too much cash, not enough paper and you're going to have people buying every step that really comes along that they think is You know, sort of wide enough for them to re enter the market. But we just haven't seen that. And even in the face of this tapering discussion that's become increasingly prevalent over the last several weeks, particularly from Fed Chairman Jay Powell again, the market continues to move higher.
