"Close support, the show going to ever lane dot com slash savage. Hayden I am a Gay Man and my myth or east asking about divorce during this time of the virus crisis. I'm a married man with on me, and my husband have been together for ten years, but I'm feeling like I wanNA. Get Force We've met when I was young in my early twenties and I just recently come out, and we've been together ever since and I feel like now. I'm a very different person. Than I was ten years ago and have realized that there's different thing, but I want relationship. Particularly a long term relationship. And I feel like I'm not getting this relationship and I want out, but the kicker is one I feel bad for leaving him at the time when it's hard to socialize and meet up with friends and find companionship and find other things to help you move on during a divorce, and so I feel like if I broke his heart and leave at the time that he won't be able to appropriately Koper, but I also feel disingenuous for sticking around and you know. Trying to make him feel good and trying to be happy about our marriage when I'm not. And also I have some mental health issues like depression. I'm getting help with and I kinda require insurance to. But then it also makes me feel bad like I'm just using him for insurance. I. Don't WanNa. Jerk, my husband around because he's a very and I do care for him, but I don't WanNa drag out marriage that honestly give me cried when I think it's of creature together I'm generally a fan of when you know it's over. You should go. It often compounds the pain of being laughter divorce to realize that the person who's leaving you in divorcing you. Wanted to leave in divorce you all longtime ago, all protestations of love and fealty and commitment during that time when they had already made up their mind, leave you. We're lies, and and so yeah I think that people shouldn't things when they know that they for sure want to and are going to end them. We don't always know that for sure. Sometimes we feel like we WANNA ended, and when not sure, and so we don't, and then down the road the relationship kicks back into gear and revives in some way, and you're glad to still be in that. Relationships not saying that just because you've thought about leaving that, you've got to pull the trigger and you gotta go. You gotTA leave. I'm saying when you know you are going to leave. You should leave. I think your impulses correct at this moment when you do someone someone that you loved someone that you grew learned with, and you've benefited from being in that relationship. You WanNa. Do it at a considerate way. You're gonNA devastate that person, but you don't want the devastation to be so complete and total that they can never recover, and it would be difficult as you say for your husband right now to find. The help he needs maybe the companionship. He needs that Consob about the fastest way to get over. Someone is to get under someone else in your husband isn't going to be a position to get under someone else for a while, because none of us are able to get under anyone at the moment without taking. Irrational risks so yeah to kick. This can down the road three months six months so that when you do tell your husband that you're leaving him. He is able to see therapists. He is able to join. A group is able to hang out in real time with his friends. He is able to hook up with however many people. You need to hook up with to properly. Get under someone else heard a parade of someone. Else's yeah. That would be the considerate loving thing to do under these circumstances. Also in that three to six months, you can make arrangements to. Find a way to pay for the health care and mental health care that you need the right now you get through.

"Understand color theories seat, your it's a tool to get there. But it's not the aid to get them. Yeah. I would say Funda the metaphor queries source engine. Would it be it wouldn't even be like the brush or anything? It would actually be deeper than that. It would be like the thing that that that makes the the paint for your right leg is that what you're gonna be you're going to be extracting all of these data. And then we the data. You're going to be painting. Something you're going to create your dashboard, you're gonna be proving your point by like data entity sticks. Those are those are. New that we've been using statistics to prove our point for quite a while. So the idea is that four data analysts. If you Tila data analyst, oh, yeah. You should use gin to know other to find this. So let me explain to you. How get let's say get log to start with right? And I get locked works, and how branches work and how committed worked, and what is I'm merged all of these things the data analysts probably stop an interview like five minutes ago. So the idea of exposing all of these concepts in a way that data analyst understand he's actually really powerful because data analyst also data scientists and also machine learning my machine learning scientists so the interface it can fig file of queries is a dashboard of queries like what's the interface to like sit down and get something done, so the interface there is there's a couple of ways of doing it one is so the. Source engineer south is a sequel and SQL interface. Right. We do have a playground that allows you to have a list of all of the tables understands. Well, what a tree is in shows it better than what you see with traditional sequel plan. But I ended the best way to do. This is actually repeater Jupiter notebooks were incredibly. Well, that's what I've been using. Because they need allows you to you know, you have your text describing what you're measuring. Then you have your sequel grade, I sent then you use that the result to us a little bit of python, and then you generate your graph and all of these stays in the same place. That's what I've been using. And it's it's a really great experience will be honest. I like that better. But if you wanna use like, the my sequel client from your command line, I worked here it's just my sequel so anything that works with my sequel worked with the engine. So the example, you've talked this through his and I'd love to if you want to go into some of the data that you pull back for communities. Hello. Yeah. So if you want to share some of that, but I also want to mention the debts an example that you've done what's the example of say someone who's a customer and adopt and adopter of your open source. And you know, they're using source engine in ways that you weren't some the imagination. Mainly users weaving working with specially large banks and large banks are really interesting because they have an incredible amount of source code and that incredible. And my source code goes from their cloud native Cobra nineties composed Docker composed stuff like that and Kabul. Right. Like, they they go all like all the way back to Kabul, when you tell them that they're going to be able to measure the technical debt for them is like, oh, yes. Led to this sums are all about the debt. You know? What's right true? Never like once you once you tell them. Oh, you know that many bangs they didn't even know how much could they have right? There's so much of it that when you tell them. Okay. So how much how many lawns it code? Lines of code of kobylt getting you have and then I in between one hundred thousand lag maybe half a million, and like, well, if you're going to like put some budget to go, and we'll ride that and like something more mother. Good luck. I it's the mission. So the idea is that we're going to be able to bring all of these data to them. So they're going to be able to make informed decisions. There was that. Yeah. Counting counting mines of Koper language, which for us is literally at group by Bikori like it's super simple to do for them was like these actually really interesting..

"I, you know, I don't if you can divorce the performance on the road with the aims of sponsor. But if you were to if you want to group good bar, for example, going to turn the front. She want a story written by the team while they were the the escape parts we did a two zero. And that was the narrative that bell team there in the breakaway everyday whether or not aligned with the sponsor, certainly got the team attention. I'm not I'm Lutheran publicity attention. And it got people talking about them in a certain way. And again, you know, I don't know whether that fits with the companies are sponsored one from it. But maybe maybe it is. So this is the other thing every company sponsoring cycling team, whether the title sponsor or the secondary sponsor or the spice on the back of the shore said all they've all got their own reasons for being on a no Spacey's some will a bunch of tree we can afford this amount some movie because the team values align with. Avenues and some will be because they just somebody in that company who likes I cling. I guess I mean, we've seen one of the impacts of team sky has been an increase in personnel in teams. This is something the most Joe mentioned earlier, the, you know used to look around and see all these people team sky, brownie the didn't know what they did one one way in which we've seen the organization professional talking teams change. I've lost years has been their parents and the pearly proliferation of the press officer when we started covering sport a love team didn't have one now. Well, team typically have three there's almost an argument to be made. And I think we're moving towards this for every team to have a kind of on rice on site. So the marketing sponsorship liaison manager, and this is something I think I can envisage happening and to make sure on a daily basis not the team is sending out the message the sponsor once and I think now. A lot of the press. Officers are covering that roller trying to take those books. But in some cases, the press officers just doing what press officers have always done make sure that the the newspapers getting their pound of flesh. And then, you know, they slightly more now social media. But I'm from Stephen Mayne was saying from conversations I had we pour Hans Gregor one of the the moment at least one of the most successful organisations, I can see cycling needing to move in not direction because as Ralph thank the manager boar hunts. Grow told me last week, they see them selves sports marketing company, more than a sports team now. And that's what they have to be. If the model is going to continue to be this and the teams rely on Koper entities, then they can have to start getting very savvy about how to deliver more value, which in a way that I don't think they do..

"And it might this for one is just dude singing around a burning been. This was something that happened is a lot of this a little tough skin like this full time. It back in the seventies is people being like whom boom, boom, boom. And then like rocky oh show up. It'd be like, hey, guys. And it'll take a sweet they the booze. And then he'll get you set a good boys that he'll take off again. I guess most of them didn't have TV's of. Sure. Sure. Yeah. The we think because I was gonna show up in the say cool. Yeah. I think one of them is Frank Stallone one of his Franks, definitely. Yes. Right. Because he calls Frank archives guy. Good. Yeah. The the fighting in this is not anywhere near as good. As it is. Now, there's a of missed punches in this like clearly punches that base today. All right. So what you're saying is there's a lot of. There's a lot of Hollywood punching. Yeah. That is not as well concealed as it as it is. Nothing. Tonight. It's only it's camera. Tricks. It's like cameras concert, Debbie. Yes. Like you punch at someone. Yeah. Exactly. And sometimes in these rocky movies actually, just do hit each other. And for us thinking that of the not not as part of the movie, but as a boxing. As a boxing ref. How often how often do you get punched? I accidentally. Yes, I secured question if you're boxing referee. How many times a day? Do you get punched a lot? Yeah. Good questions. They getting right in there. And these guys just did a grappling is in a way. That's it. Speaking of punch, though, he's he loves punching the Don after fought in this apparently Stallone really was a smoker, and he gave it up for this film because he kept getting out of breath. Yeah. I bet. Yeah. During the during the boxing, but it's so it's so nineteen seventies online. I've said this because a lot of people like you, don't like sport. Here's the thing. I like sport more when it was less professional gang. I like sport. When I like I like to and rules football when it was like that would just smoking hold applies with smoking on the side Magadan just take a piss at halftime field to do that. And I and I roll just bushes real life. That is that would just do it at part time. Yeah. That was fun. Totally. Yeah. Look to buddy Koper will buddy Hollywood. Nice and leading. Yeah. It is also like that athletes didn't have to be fit been yet. You just like if a cricket is. It was like you don't have to run you just gotta hit the bowl. And it's the same for baseball is. Yeah. Right. You don't have to you just going to be able to hit it. You don't need to have to really be able to anything if a pretty good. I or I'd get there. Yeah. "koper" Discussed on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed
"Welcome to the undisputed podcast on your host. Johnny Taft on today's show are the Cowboys playoff bound with Amari Cooper in the foles what's the latest with the beef between Rajon Rondo and Paul. Also, Shannon is off today, but we've got a whole bunch of guests eager to fill his seat, skip guys. Let's go. So the Cowboys made a big move earlier this week, trading first round, pick for Mari Koper great toy Aikman said he's quote a little skeptical about the trade and pro-football talks. Mike Florio says, the Cowboys move is not good financially and they should have drafted Filkins rookie wide out Kelvin Ridley with their nineteenth pick instead some Michael Rapaport still with us. Now we have James Harrison joining the mix. We have a better Shannon Sharpe actually sitting a skip James till sending. I mean. Orders either way skip. I'm going to start with you here with the addition of Amari Cooper with your Cowboys. I mean, is Dallas the new favorite in the NFC? Yes, they are the favorite. They will win the NFC east because of a Mari Cooper and less that demonic Howie Roseman the GM of the eagles does what he's been doing for two years, which is dominated the National Football League unless he goes and gets Patrick Peterson from Arizona because that would cancel out the Amari move in Dallas. But barring that if it stays as is the scales just tipped in Dallas favor in an NFC east that hasn't even started. I'm sorry, you're giants or done already, but that's a whole nother story. We'll get to that a little later, but may I dress the Calvin Ridley angled please? Because Mike Florio is trying to say that he would have been a better by and I soon a better player than Amari Cooper baloney to that. Calvin Ridley is not in a Mark Hooper's league Amari Cooper made to pro bowls as. A rookie and a second year player in this league. And that's pretty great in if I put Amari Cooper right now in the Atlanta, Falcons receiver mix not good things, but great things would happen because obviously, Calvin Ridley gets to play opposite Julio and sanu, and you see that little Marvin hall, their second-year player catch a touchdown pass on Monday night. So they have speed everywhere in Austin, Hooper as they're tied in is pretty good. So once if you put Calvin really in the middle of that, yeah, he's going to rise and shine occasionally, but not like Amari Cooper, so it's money. Well spent next year you would cost thirteen point. Nine million show me a free agent. It'll be on the market next year. That would be better than Amari Cooper. There's just not one. So again, they overpay with the first round pick? Yeah, because he's not worth the first rounder, but the eagles offered a second rounder. So what are you going to do you have a chance to go win this division? And Jerry Jones finally did something, and he made the Dallas Cowboys a lot better because they don't have anything. Belly better, but I don't think he makes them the favourite. I'm still rolling with Washington because I still have a defense. That's pretty good. It's pretty three versus your defense, and they're five is not that many ours in between them as far as everything. My quarterbacks, I have a quarterback date is not going to lose a game in Washington. He's going to control the ball. He's gonna make sure he doesn't turn the ball over. I don't. I don't have that in in Dallas are seen that give costly turnover that actually ended up costing them the game. And right now we're going off of what he has done his first two years. Not what he's done is last two years. I have no doubt that he'll make them better, but the favor is no way and all depends on which Amari Cooper shows up because last year quietly, I don't how they put it on. He had the, yes, okay. He was dropping passes, dropping passes for a wide receivers. Like, I don't know if you're a broadcaster can't talk. I mean, like if you're a wide receiver in. You're dropping passes continually over and I love Maury Cooper, and I loved him. His first two seasons..

"This is what we know, but but not really giving it away in detail because you know, we didn't want it to go away. Eventually the euro's all broke and apple got smart, but yeah, sure. I don't think you're gonna see that next year. Yeah, it was another example of that never should have been on a public Errol. That was, you know, but then it's, you can't. You can't think it's fake though because it's from apple, there's really well. Okay. So so you've we've opened some presence than so you're if you go to the nine to five MAC website, we're going to, but linked to the specific articles. They've got a really cool image of a new watch with a bigger screen, and then they've also got the the two iphone tens. I, I don't know who would. Ever. You know, I, I guess ten tennis and we don't have any. It doesn't really give us any idea what the sizes. But I mean based on all the other rumors that are getting out, it looks like it's going to be one that's about the same size of the current one. Plus one that's little little bigger. That's the benefit of available to cover the news every day. Like this is reading all the analysts reports and all of the journalists reports and kind of known what sources have, what wait to them. And you know, Mingji quos is the big supply to analysts. They get so much of this stuff. Right? And so we can take what he says and we'll marches over a Bloomberg and kinda mix it all together and see what we know. And then we can predict things like the five, eight inch version two. And then the new six point, five inch elad and there's still a mystery of in-between size of the six point, four inch LCD version. And I kind of like these these spoilers that are not the whole thing like even even with the watch, we're asking yourselves, is that gold, aluminum or gold steel is thinner or a different angle, like all these questions, you know, is there another new face? Like is that a? Is that a standard apple watch strap attached to it, or is it like a new connector? I mean, you really, I mean, the changes could be so small that you wouldn't know from. Just looking at a picture. Yeah, and we do hear from fear eaters through like guys, spoil everything like I, I didn't want that. Why are you reading that if I'm back in the first place? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. The, but interestingly, you guys didn't find anything about a new ipad or new max? Yeah, there's some obvious that we think we would have seen if it were happening. So I mean, the guests is kind of you can probably fill it event with an iphone and a watch, and maybe you know some airpower if that's the thing that exists by, you know, as at Boston in the past, there could be a separate event Koper for ipad and MAC, you know, or we just could not have found it, but but we we try our best and we didn't see any evidence that suggests that we'll we'll see those things yet at that event. So maybe it's funny the with the with the big exception really last year where they have a leak that home pod firmware, and then the gold master. I mean, usually these leaks come out of the supply chain. Or marketing, but you know this year it sounds to me like goes out of marketing early. Yeah, the the closest thing..

"And then if we get to play offs, we just keep playing our ball. That's got to be a little bit different going from the chiefs where you were perennial playoff contender, but didn't get as much like media attention or love to. Now everybody's picking you do great things. What's the difference between like the highest spectators now versus where the chiefs I don't. I don't see no difference because I think everybody there's only one happened is league right now in the Philadelphia Eagles. No, until we opened up week one, you know. And then once we opened up, we want everybody on a clean slate of us playing ball and you go out there and you put best before each week and then you see where you fall at the end of the season, who talks more you're or Cape man, we kind of, I don't know we, we kinda we to, to be honest, I think we tell man you. Okay. What about your wide receivers? I think they'd say. Feel too man with Koper Brandon in rob? I think they ought film and they also spoken and stuff. And I think they all have the same Italia going and work and see what we can follow at the end of this way, talk. He. Saying he the OG man. So he didn't seen a lot of gaming being coaching, his forty plus years. Now you gotta you gotta listen. That's the fortnight shirt. Is that a big thing with the team? Yeah. He said that his grandson he got. So he said, he watches his grandson played the game, will I asked him? Did he get down? But I, I don't know how to play for nice. He was getting down man, that'd be huge with the players in general. I think that's the new thing that's popping around the around. The world right now is for night so much, you know, with all the new as dance moves and all that stuff like Super Mario brothers still big. I mean, I'm I stick to Madden and stuff like that. "And most of canada rejoiced because if you're either at least in or you hate me there's there's no in between with the least and and toronto in fact there's no in between with toronto in canada toronto's the center of the universe and everybody else wires and people in western canada against stand anybody in eastern canada but to me there's a lot of intriguing matchups i the nights and the kings are intriguing to me because okay the knights shatter expansion team records under nine points to twenty nine wins i'm sorry twenty home wins twenty two road wins william carlson who'd never scored more than nine in his nhl career scores forty three they've got five twenty goal scorers so they they were amazing and when people are saying at the end of the season they they weren't that good well they can eat into their five hundred team that the season meanwhile the kings they radloff was twelve wins in their last eight or something like that they were really really good nickel to push on and got into the playoffs to me this comes down to the big players for so the kings they've got so if you've got doughty copay tar jonathan quick tanner pearson you go on and on about leading guys from that ten guys from that stanley cup last couple of eighteen so we know how to get it up i think there'd be a tough out i i'm not really sure how the the vegas golden knights will react to their first playoff but they've got experience too like they're not just this comes out but i look at this and i think if if andrzej koper tar can play as well as in the playoffs as he has in the past two stanley cups and has done this year.

"That were introduced what he found however in looking at overall crime rates and violence committed with firearms particularly homicides he found no measurable effect of the thought weapon ban most importantly i think again when we think about saw weapons we think about mass shootings dr koper did not examined the effect of the ban on mass shootings or if you think specifically how might and assault weapon facilitate casualties really it has to do with how many people were shot so that outcome was not studied in dr koper research if you look at the data what happened after the ban as expired saw weapons have become far more common as far as what people own in most dramatically we see the number average number of victims shot in mass shootings has gone up quite significantly post ban so dr webster america is talking about an assault weapons ban once again it's easy to see why americans are watching air fifteen thousand and similar weapons being used repeatedly in these highprofile crimes what to americans need to know about how effective a new ban might be or how that van might have to be designed to help prevent the kinds of shootings that we're seeing on our televisions we'll probably the most important thing is amunition capacity so largecapacity magazine ban is really particularly key here i think the other important take away is that you want to design your ban in a manner that is not easy to make copycat models with very modest differences and in the weapons i think a another thing that could be considered but understand politically is probably not feasible is what we did with machineguns are fully automatic guns where there is full registry of such weapons so i mean if i'm design the most effective pipe of restriction i would probably include that but i i don't expect that will happen simply because a political constraints now you mentioned this political constraints in this country and their significant and look when we look at the reality of a new ban in this country dr webster even if one were to come into effect lots of people including senator marco rubio just weeks ago have pointed out that there are three hundred million guns already in this country he said he would be willing.

"The director of the center for gun policy and research at the johns hopkins bloomberg school of public health professor welcome to the takeaway good to be with you oppressor you've written that we need to be realistic about the ability of an assault weapons ban to curb violence what did you mean we have a very high rate of gun violence in the united states the vast majority of that violence however does not look like the mass shootings that you know we spent a lot of time of for understandable reasons concerning ourselves with when you think about safety of our children going to schools those events stick in our mind and quite commonly about always of course but commonly the high casually count mass shootings assault weapons are typically involved but most vile of course in the united states is committed with handguns will let's talk about the assault weapons ban between ninety four and two thousand and four what do we know about those years in terms of what happened to violent crime in general mass shooting specifically and the types of crimes dead assault weapons are part of sure so uh criminologist christopher koper now at george mason university led a very extensive study looking at the assault weapons ban in its effects he found that their first of all just before the ban there is a huge spike in sales for such guns and he also found that there were leakage point if you will lot of copycat models.

"The man who is close to me declares the lord almighty strike the shepherd zachariah chapter thirteen in verse nine says impart they will call on my name and i will answer them and i will say they are my people and they will say the lord is our god so obviously there is continuity here regarding the lord and his people israel who repent and turn to their lord even messiah meaning jesus of nazareth it is interesting to note that the opening words of zachariah chapter thirteen that says in part on that day a fountain will be open probably inspired the english poet william koper to write the words of our beloved him there is a fountain however koper applied the words to the church which is not the context of zachariah chapter thirteen in verse one but which of course is applicable to the church and true the second stanza of his him says impart dear dying lam like precious blood shall never lose its power till all the ransom church of god be saved to sit no more lending zachariah chapter thirty in verse one the fountain open drawn from me manuals veins is the house of david and the inhabitants of jerusalem with koper simply made an application to the church or whether he spiritual eyes the meaning of zachary thirteen we do not know we believe the plane literal languages zachariah thirteen than a final righteous remnant of national israel will be ransom from their sin yet future like the church by the blood of messiah even jesus the christ through repentant safe zone zack araya continues the theme of israel's conversion to messiah during jacob's trouble just before the second coming of messiah to the earth under the figure of a fountain it will be open to all jews engine towels alike who will become the tribulation saints all sanctified by the blood of messiah charles find buried a very fine commentator writes these words quote the figure of the fountain is eminently in place here for it has ever flowing not like the laver of the tabernacle and the temple that needed to be filled repeatedly that cleansing found in was opened long ago at calgary potentially now actually for them into quote that is he refers to national israel as reinforced with much scripture for example isaiah chapter three in verse four says no one living in zion.
