"All right so Congratulations to the guys over at SC that to Atara is what we think it's called. To Atara. The, they're crazy. supercar hyper car I don't even know what what what category goes into now feels like the wording changes the time. But a very, very cool car just set the. Reset I think it was these guys did it with their first car that Arrow I think and then Bugatti and then Kona. Zig. Did it with the Are S. I think Bugatti. Didn't qualify because it wasn't technically a production car. They did like a Bugatti Sharon, long tail. Point two great are indeed thing for them but. But I believe Kona Zag had this now. Adamant I interviewed code a little while back and he's not one to rest on his laurels. So I'm sure he's already putting things in order to go. Well, this is a fun little friendly banter. We can get in to see if he could go three, thirty five or whatever but the guys that a c Set a record they. They did three hundred and thirty one miles per hour. Top speed basically on the closed down public highway Romp Fahd I believe and the to run average back to back with three, hundred, sixteen miles an hour but three, thirty one. was their top speed and and then the driver was saying it was getting a little. Little. Squirrelly which is funny. You Watch the video and look super smooth and quiet but at that speed everything is happening so fast that a little twitch and the steering wheel could be like you know just. A. Little twitches on the steering wheel and comes back I was fighting the wind the whole time because so crazy you're like, you look like you're not doing anything but you look like you're just sitting there and not the so happy it was like I don't know what happened when. It was hands off the wheel. Hundred Yeah. He's just kind of winding down. Were those tires rated at that's. Not. All of the components were they were they I mean. There's so many crazy things about what? The the car is privately owned. I believe a doctor owns the car somebody who had. A somebody who familiar with the brand he owned one of their cars previously when they were coming up with a model that to Atar up. They said, Hey, would you be interested in having the first one? Excuse me. Oh, by the way, he got caught doing to sabotage five on the way back there but I just. Right I would. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. When they offered him the first one he said sure that'd be great and. Then they made an agreement that when they were tried to do the top speed run, they would use his car. So. He gets a little little some something extra as far as bragging rights with the car. So being the guy that essentially. Help Fund. The program right by. the, videos kind, call the see because you have no idea how fast these guys are actually going and it's impressive to see. I would like to see. I didn't go through all the video stuff I'm sure there's more I watched the in car footage. So I'd like to see that edited together with some of the outside footage I wanna see that cargo by when I hear that cargo. Why? Did, you watch the one that had the firefly three sixty footage in there? Yeah. That's one they kind of moved around a little bit. That was kind of cool to see because I was like Oh, is there somebody else in the car? Then you realize the way it was moving was all. Electronic so they did a good job. The engine. The engine makes one thousand, three, hundred fifty horsepower on ninety one octane that it has an e eighty five mode that bump it to one, thousand, seven, hundred and fifty horsepower and I know this sounds crazy. But Tom Nelson that Nelson racing engines. Does this a couple times a month. It seems like he's he's got his crate engine packages that are putting out this. Kind of power. He builds these these engines and they work with like fuel tanks and. And the computer he sets up a runs it on ninety one or eighty five or any combination thereof and. You could. Do Switch controls you can do street and Sport and race, and he's he's getting so incredibly sophisticated. With this stuff, we talked to Tom a few times the years because he very famously built the engine David, Freiberg f-bomb Camaro that like military Green Camaro, and later in one of the fast and furious movies when like running through the desert I think in Mexico and it's doing the Huili and the they recreated the the car and added a bunch of weight to the back to do the whealy. But we have a car here. We had the car here in the studio outside and spoke to Tom a few times and it's Just a the way these things work is kind of a small world was. A week ago I reached out to Tom and I said, Hey, man, you know. How's it going with the with the shop and I'm looking at your crate engines. I've got some some questions I'm going to be building this this engine for my truck and and before I get into this thing I just WanNa maybe swing by doing check out the shop I want to run a few questions by you and got back to me immediately and of course as nice as always come by anytime I'll share every bit of knowledge I possibly have with you wherever you got and I said thank you so much then a few days later. S S C sets top speed record three, hundred, thirty, one miles an hour, and it's his engine. He makes the engines shouldn't procrastinate man you should have been there the day before he wouldn't told. I know he probably would have told me that this was happening but. The thing looks fantastic. Incorrect congratulations to those guys in congratulations to Tom. I'm hoping to go out there maybe next week and and chat with him a little bit and I pretty sure that's going to result in a follow up with him being on the show at some point because. Also. It also sold an engine for him because I need is information to build a car around one of those I it's. And he's got. Well. The other thing he announced that caught my attention, he's got, he's got his ls base engine supercharged and turbo, and then he created the mirror image turbo. So when you think about twin turbos the you know the inlet outlets are the same. So when you do one on the left side on the right side of the kind of swirl around, they go to the same direction. So he worked with turbo networks he got a patent on it and he created it and they build it for them. Mirror image turbos so. One is the exact opposite of the other. So many do twin turbos on their engine. You get some cemetry to it and it looks fantastic and they work great. We spoken to spoken to them a few times about those mirror image turbos. So. As ls base engines you get supercharged. I believe with whipple's and with the TURBOS. A then he's got a big blocks He does big block chevys and he said very much coming soon. Well he does the Ford engines as well, but the small blocks and big blocks will do whatever you want. But he announced a his line of Coyote crate engines and I imagine it's going to be kind of crazy what? Whether it be supercharging or turbo charging Romero and turbo charging but. Having him sort of get into something like that and and learn about that engine. It's good. It's bad. It's it's weak points at strength and be able to really. Flexes Muscles because I listen week and make.

"New ride you get ten dollars off the purchase of dodge charger challenger or Durango succumb in for dodge power dollars today for amazing deal. Man, there's been all kinds of all kinds of stuff going on some a couple of fun things that are out there for sure. We we spoke a little while back about our friends McLaren were fans of the brand and we were talking about. Well, we talked about a couple of things we talked about them a selling their facility, and hopefully the new owner would lease it back to them. Get a little funding in the door and survive this global pandemic that's going on which. Seemed like an interesting proposition no word as to if that happened or not but they. Know updates on that whatsoever. No updates on on whether they sold it or borrowed against it or did something with it it was. Also I think like that type of announcement garners a bunch of attention and. It it brings some people to the brand. Kind of reminds them again that Maclaren's out there and selling cars is a good way to to help them and it probably did bring some money people to the door maybe not somebody who bought the facility maybe line of credit maybe there's Some some other investments maybe there's something else. Going on, they seem to be moving ahead and we obviously want them to be around where we're fans of the brand. Doesn't look like they're in any trouble by the moves. Right, you know what's interesting is no secret that one of my favorite cars is their seven twenty s. Then they came out with hotter version this. Seven, sixty, five. and. My buddies get one. Yeah you know so. I saw the car. It looks fantastic. I liked some of the cosmetic bits and the Arab bits that they did to spice up to seven twenty s a little but. Understandably. It could be a little rougher suspension and those lightweight seats look bad, ass. But really uncomfortable if you're asking me so curious to know how stressful it of. That car is the seven, sixty, five and. I last week when we had. Here and he sort of closed things out saying. He was going to. Go out and drive one of those years an opportunity to get in of the seven sixty five. I'm very curious to see what he says compared to the seven twenty or what he's going to say as far as just sort of live ability in the car I understandably that maybe not why you're buying the hotter version if you want the Streetcar Get, the seven twenty s if you want the hotter version, get the seven, sixty five, but that's not the world we live in. You know we kind of like what the seven sixty five because it's nude is better than it has it looks a little better and we just you know I it's interesting. It's like. Can you get the seven, sixty five and then just say yeah. I just wanted to the street seats and I want like normal seats, comfortable seats in it, and then you just drive around and and whatever their. Yeah. Yeah. Anything could be had for some money right so and they sort of drive around. In the different suspension modes in your in some sort of St Motor comfort mode or whatever, and then I would imagine that. Is Doable I've figured it would be doable. Look what Porsche did with I believe gt three it had the big. Crazy. And then they came out with the touring version, which just looked like a nine eleven with no big wing on it and and. I think a more normal seat and it turned out that one actually sold really well is people were just like just wanted to gt three but I want to be able to drive it on the street and not have to climb out of a racing seed and and and all that kind of stuff. So. Kind of interesting on the McLaren side we. But the other thing we talked about it a couple of weeks ago was McLaren moving towards hybrid systems. Similar to what we've seen in the accurate sex. And they released a couple of. Not, not spy photos, but they're photos of the car all wrapped up in the camouflage. It's it's and it's our first hybrid system carts are hybrid system. Powering one of the sports car series. So the five seventy and the six twenty S. That we've seen. That first segment of sports, cars, not the supercars or their hybrid cars have sort of three. I guess three segments or classifications of cars. Sort of a small medium and large if you will. And It's It doesn't look like a huge departure from the six twenty are that's on the streets now. The hybrid system is kind of interesting. They're saying twin Turbo v six power which. You. Know we've had this discussion before you would have said twin. Turbo V six. For a supercar would be like. AIDS the way to go. But with all the great success of what? Ford gt his done arguably. Performance of. Of Accurate, a sex necessarily sales I love the car I think it's fantastic to drive. The sales numbers there but it's a, it's a halo car. They're going to continue doing I believe. So the hybrid. The hybrid system. What they told us was officially be revealed. Early to mid of next year, Twin Turbo V. Six. They said they. The Stephen Was it will have an electric mode of up to roughly twenty twenty, one mile somewhere in that range they basically said it would fit the normal commute. Like. Go to work commute of somebody then you you. But Yeah. What's interesting about that statement was If you can do it in electric mode. That sort of implies it's a plug in electric plug in hybrid. So you could leave in an electric mode as long as you're not flooring, the gas which automatically probably kicks in the the gas engine and stuff or limit speed if it's just an electric mode. But. This really just starts to feel more and more like an Acura anesthetics competitor. As far as its functionality and it's an IT's hybrid system. Although I don't now that I think about it I don't think the sex is plug in hybrid but. I would say McLaren's probably plug in hybrid it's going to have maybe twenty one miles of all electric mode if you didn't want to use the gas ended at all. I don't think that twenty one miles is a particularly fast twenty one miles i. think you need what? I think he kind of the gas edged to kick in along with it. But. What I do find interesting in one of the things that I found on the sex was. I liked the idea of the hybrid powertrain with Electric Motors filling in the gap of turbo lack. It gets you that gets you that shot of torque off the line and gets the car moving of. For that. Gets a car moving to a point where that where the gas engine came to have those turbos kick in. Now keep in mind when you floor it all of this happened very quickly. You can just wind out that thing very fast but it's that initial like shot off a line with the electric motors and the full torque capacity of those electric motors just getting that thing moving from a dead stop I. Really Think Kinda makes the difference and I would imagine that. With the right programming if you're throwing this thing around the turns, let's say at Laguna. Seca. That's where I think the Torque can come in with those electric motors in combination. Of of the gas engine as well and That's where. The Electric Motors. Combined with a gas engine is really going to benefit. The SUPERCAR and the hyper carring the sports car world is having that combination of of the to you know a few weeks ago we had this conversation with. Christian von Kona. Zag as well and it was talking about the Jebara and his amazing little three cylinder engine that puts out over six hundred horsepower and very lightweight. But he.

"To use it more and more and I like to get into that more. You'll find some of that with with the show again later this week with Kona Zag as well. Yeah. So the m three it's done we made four ninety four horsepower to the tires on the on the dino. With that number. The car just drives strong, it's fast. It's fun but it's done and move on to other projects and I've place to park it and I gotta finish that Mustang and I get the truck. That, you're you're completely you've already wiped your hands it. That's. So, hard thing to do it is up at as live. Now on bring a trailer, it was exciting to see a little nervous and. I don't know I kind of feel like. I I. Don't have kids. So it's not like sending a kid off to school or college, but it's it's more like a foster dog. Trained you so well but now you've got to go to your forever home so as Somebody who wants a bad ass? Three. For their for its new forever home and whoever wants to be the next guest on. That's right. Yeah. You buy the car you want to come on here and talk about it. Let me know what you think and now eight months from now. Don't come back on the show with all of your issues with the. Get it hurts. We don't have buyer's remorse calling, and now it's a fantastic car as fast as Hell I. You're going to have some fun with it. It It looks good. You know. It's it's not perfect, but it's a car that I think you're gonNA enjoy driving and I want somebody to go out and drive it. It makes it makes great sounds and makes great power and the sound system works and the suspension seems to work and. It's fully adjustable you guys can. However, you why. So I want you to go and I want you to have it i. want you to tweak it a little bit. Maybe personalized that the way you want. You know have have some needs to be really soft music clang. Yeah right lies telling him how lovely this thing is this is going to be the best eight of your life. I feel like the guy who was like you should do. Yeah. Come into America the McDowell's guy is trying to get his daughter out with the rich guy is like, yeah, you should. A. I forgot the other guy's name. Before he finds out that Akeem has his own money Darrell Darrell. What's wrong? DARYLL Scott family money. He's going to take care of you. You know. I walked by I want my bmw nice home so you guys should enjoy the car. Surrogate father it's up on, bring a trailer. Now, I'm going to do my best to jump on a couple of times a day answer. Any questions anybody has. And I know sometimes the conversation goes off in a direction where someone's like well, I see you have a super charger I'm thinking about putting a supercharge on my m three. What do you think of this versus that kid I'm happy to have that conversation with you. But hit me up on my social media semi direct message because if we do it on the bring a trailer forum than people like were we going with this? Please, feel free to hit me up on my social media and we'll get into it. But. It's up there now enjoy it have some fun I've tried to make a little video. Just a walk around video of the car nothing too exciting with your shot on the Iphone, and then I cut in Some soup through some ravs out it took for a quick little drive and the clip of the Dino is in there as well. "Know the all wheel drive version of it. I mean at least they had a base that they did go off of. it wasn't reinventing the wheel. The wheels. But you know. Hopefully. We learned a little bit and. You know we're GONNA get rectified within the next two days. Is there any numbers that you can tell us? They're they're sixty foot time sort of quarter mile times top speed or what on the initial thing? All right. All Right I. Well. They're they're. I don't WanNa say arbitrary but you know when you end up break stuff at happy sleep alters everything. So I mean there's no reason to really put it out. In full transparency Mario hasn't given into. Hannity you. Okay. So but you spoke to him. Did, he have that he has some feedback other than, hey, we broke some suspension pieces we need to get on the phone was. On running that Gar the positive feedback that he gave me was that you know we went was smaller turbos. And What was our turbos higher higher? Initial the TURBOS are kicking on immediately and they're they're almost schooling up, right? Yeah and that is a debts different setup than the all wheel drive car that they did last year right on bigger today did bigger turbos and it comes on later later in the game. For what I'm doing and what I'm asking this car to do this is the route that they chose and they're very happy with. Not only number wise but performance wise getting out there responsive. Wise. So you know that was something that I learned. I don't know. I think suspension is GonNa be a big, not an issue, but a big question mark in the all the stuff that we're changing underneath housing going to respond on the track, and then you know being daily driven is going to be titled the Damn Drum. I'll it a lot of the stuff that you went through with your with your BMW yeah. Because, I'm trying to make it know the best of both worlds. Right. Well, that's actually an interesting point when they did the all wheel drive car. That being a crazy kind of Sima bill that was all about making the biggest horsepower number and incredible quarter-mile time now although your car. Can hit the drag strip and get a very, very impressive number. I know how you like to use your cars and you'd have no problem just kind of taken out around town around the around the property. You know just drive it on the street a little bit. So you know the difference between I don't know fourteen, hundred horsepower fifteen, hundred, horsepower you're probably not going to feel even. Milo. beat the numbers of the all wheel drive car, and then you think about the comparison of the two I mean they're gonNA obviously go down the drag strip completely different and I believe the rear wheel drive cars going to be asked. and. Having more of that low end Torque Merlot and power. You're gonNA feel around on the street and although you're getting the suspension ready now. and. And making it bulletproof enough to run it down the drag strip with slicks on it. That's not how you normally going to use the car right so and and that's the big thing. The slicks can be very harsh. On on on the drive career now. Of course right. Yeah. You know as I was putting as I'm putting the truck together. Now you mentioned the m three the three was never meant to be a drag race vehicle in that in those regards. Now, we I did well, then the sub frame reinforcements and I did the trailing arms are some of the suspension pieces from Turner motorsports on the rear. But it was never going to have a slick. It was always just for the for for road race course it was never really meant to do that was just street tires now I do see an opportunity to take the truck to take the lightning down the drag strip with slicks. And for that reason I've changed my plan on the rear suspension a little bit and I went ahead of the game as we talked about when I had the rear end built, I had mark Williams build some axles and stuff for it. You know all overkill now for my two hundred, eight horsepower that I'm making but but hopefully, not soon. Yeah. Hopefully, I, just don't want that to be the weak link later I know we'll have to dial on the suspension and stuff like you're doing now, but you don't want the rear end to to break especially when you're out there. Having some foam on a track day so It's GonNa be it's GonNa be interesting to see. I think those guys at your head. You're probably about as excited about it as you are in in that. The different turbo setup and how they're getting, it dialed in and rear wheel drive and. It's interesting. It's GonNa be fun that you know that they've got guys. You know in their stable going to the track every week a lot of pressure put on him you know with their bills, but I'm GONNA put more pressure on them than anybody because hopefully, we'll have a TV show being filmed here soon to where this car is going to go up against some of the fastest cars that were. In it better, be able to beat every single one of them. So yeah, Mario you're on the clock. Yeah you know it's interesting. You say that because. Some of the news we've run into recently is more about the electric cars that are going on and I'm going to touch on that for a second that we've got a guest joining us from expel. and. Got The BMW and three up on bring a trailer touch on that again. A little bit later in the show but. As you build your rear wheel drive big. High. Horse Power Turbo car. The fastest cars are running into. Now are electric occasion like we've got four doors you know. You and I were talking a little bit before before we started recording. Later this week On the show for on Friday with would that adamant I do? We had already recorded interview and we spoke to. Vancouver Nasdaq and just a fantastic interview. Fa Fascinating Guy we also spoke to Sasha. I forgot his last name. But he was designer he was he was. He's the designer for Kona Zag but. Kona. Zag also has a design company that works on other projects so. And he kinda runs that as well. Sell it pan of CELEBS SOLID PAN off. Yeah. Are there's there's an unusual and access we're. Sell selling panel. Yeah. But yeah, very knowledgeable. I he loves racing to yes. Super and racing pulls a lot of influence on the design side pulls a lot of influence from from McLaren f. one cars but anyway the conversations with. With Kona Zag was. You know we got into this phenomenal conversation about his three cylinder turbo charged engine with no camshafts runs on any combustible fuel makes over six hundred horsepower. And weighs about seventy five just ways basically nothing and and he said yeah, it's going in the gym Rah, the four seat two door crazy supercar goes put. That also has a hybrid powertrain electric motors and that's why it's going to be super fast and eleven hundred horsepower. He said Zero Sixty and under two seconds is what he told me and and I said why combined the gas engine with the? With the electric why.

"No, is it? That's that's what this website is. Check. Check Google for the news for the approximate result in multiple multiply the speed by one point six. Okay all right. Yeah, yeah, that's right, yeah! Because we say zero to sixty two and they say it's one hundred so basically. They're trying to hit that three hundred kilometer mark. That's why they're rounding to one eighty six right because it was like. Why did he is a very obscure number right overdue that? Reason for yeah, so they wanna hit three hundred kilometers. which which makes sense interesting benchmark, but it's. It's funny how we also have this this race. To three hundred miles an hour. We have bugatti trying to get there. We have even Hennessy with their with their supercar trying to get there. We have Kona Zag trying to get there. Yeah, they're all trying to get to three hundred miles per hour. You know and I don't know. Where are we to fifty? Two to sixty. A it's. It's funny, because even if they could do it with the Horse Power and the aero-dynamics. How do you sell that car to somebody? Right like this is like somebody like Bugatti comes in and says oh well, you can only do it with the special key and a half do from start, and it has to be pointed in a straight line and. If you to know there's people that'll buy you know. There are yeah, but if you twist the steering wheel, a little bit to the left or right, it shuts down that the three hundred mile an hour, a goal or something like it just. Because all of that because you have to build in. Tens of thousands of dollars of safety equipment just A. Just an attempt to do a proof, you still can't you still can't. All you can do is try to make the government satisfied with with you're doing you know. Some of it's overkill some of it's not like who knows again like it's like building. Anything your garage it. Your building is like. You know you want to build this thing and you want to build a loft and and they say great building the loft as easy, and then you say, but I wanNA put a gym up there with thousands of pounds of weight, and they'll yeah, we we need. We need to rethink battle. Right like unfortunately your yeah, your. We've tackled this issue as well over here, but. Yes anyway speaking of that, we're going to get into an update on the garage. We saw some of the images you posted up on on instagram on your site and your patient Goldberg's garage and working with your team over at Metro on. WHO's. Basically designing and building, going to build this. The new Goldberg's garage. And Dodd the rendering. The rendering sir good, it's a great teaser. Thanks for posts in that looks fantastic and I know you said I'm learning. The plan was got the property there. You want to keep everything in house and. There's GonNa be. Also. There's a business to run. Basically out of this garage. There's filming. There's podcasting. They're working out. Which is part of your? Big. Part of your career like there's this isn't. As much fun as it is, it's not completely leisure. It's all work. All work, but it's all relative. Living it's it's my passion, my my enjoyment. my release Oh. Guess what also happens to be how I make a living so as as over the top is it? Is it all every square inch of, but it's going to provide a service whether it's you know storing all the things. That I've been able to acquire throughout the years that our business or the or the latest the way in the plans. Which is the sound studio so yeah? It's all toll purpose bill. I'm sure I don't know if it was your idea or your accountant. That said Hey. We're building the garage and this is what it's going to cost and I do a podcast every week. The accounts like you should put podcast. there. Turns it a little bit more to better right off. To to appease my accountant? Yes, it was my. I prep. Prior phone calls yeah. Crappy for but. It's a it's A. It's a great deal. It's exciting, but. It's also a task so. Just check the progress, and where where are you? Now? We saw we saw some of the initial rhetoric rings. I. Don't know if they're finally yet, but they. They look good. When do you? When do you start breaking ground or doing plumbing foundation or you know when you start doing that? When we need to speak with Bernie municipal, so we can get all the final permits. Check off, so one swans that happens, we will be breaking ground. Yeah, let that goes I'm curious to know if the permit process out there. Hand. Deliver all documents, believe me with the big bag of big box of cookies, and maybe an apple pie or something like that. Yeah, whatever I can. Imagine the process. There is much easier than the process here. All right so. One other piece we've. We weren't able to get into all the dodge news last week, because the the debut on dodge garage of. Of, their announcement was. was. was just starting as we were recording. This and we don't want to step on anybody's feet. We didn't want. You know. We wanted to abide by the rules with the embargo and all that stuff, so this is this is what we know. This is the news that you guys have seen. Three upgrades to to the vehicles, the dodge challenger, the charger and the Durango and typical dodge fashion. That some you guys like some you guys don't like, but. Dodges AMMO for a lot of things is hey. Take something that seems to be working pretty well and just throw more horsepower at it. To work, I know some of these vehicles, challenger, charger, or feeling a little long in the tooth, so they just keep throwing horsepower out of it and do more fast and furious movies, and they continue to sell, and it's paying off. In dividends for sure so this is what we've got the the Dodge Challenger. Twenty, twenty dodge, Challenger S Artiste superstock. I think this is a cool vehicle, but also this is good for you. Dodge Demon owners dodge, said we're. The demon was going to be a limited run. We're not gonNA. Screw you on this deal. And Demon owners will get the demon, and then that will be it now. Dodge still wants to do something drag race oriented with big power right they did they drag pack the thirteen twenties that we drove. Which which had some demon parts basically on it and the suspension. World, but you're not going to get that. Demon Hood patiently. You'RE NOT GONNA. Get that Vin number..

"And I'll tell you why America that that was always the difference between Europe and America to me the You know was always Kinda torpey and Loenen grunt and Blah Blah Blah but that high revving part. That's that the race part to me and Road road racing part and and I just always was attracted to that and I I. We thought that was kind of in a way. If you wanted to kind of define America versus Europe or Japan you just Kinda go. W- peak horsepower. Where does it make its peak horsepower? And you know the average if you took Europe and Japan the average on the peak horsepower would be you know an and I'm talking back in the day the average would be you know seventy seven hundred. Rpm In in America it'd be sixty three hundred RPM and kind of that difference maybe fifty nine hundred RPM but that that difference right there was kind of the difference between America in Europe. And take to answer your question if you have that high horsepower. Engine and that engine is extensively making. Its Hey course power eighty four hundred. Rpm or whatever it is well what suffers is low end. Usually I mean you know they. They're working around it now. But I mean if you take one of my high revving engines and some dots and five ten or something. It makes all its horsepower. After seven thousand it makes almost no horsepower under five thousand. Yeah and it doesn't have the displacement like you're saying it doesn't it doesn't have the displacement engine to create and write work. This does but I. I'm saying if you had a a motor assist at the low end. You had like an electric assist when the light changed yeah and you could launch and then as the RPM's kicked in the RPM because because obviously if that thing is pulling to nine thousand RPM it's polling super hard after seventy five hundred but traditionally it takes a little longer to get up on the stick and if you had an electric assist in instant torque then that's your cake and eating a two. You're getting the launch and the high winding poll. You're you're exactly right. And the the high end super car companies are figuring that out. Kona Zag I think McLaren did to some extent on on p. One but they're saying yeah. Let's fill in That gap on the low end especially that turbo lag and run. You know a lot of times you can you try to find the best balance of turbo-motor on On Low and power and high power. But you could definitely size it up to be to favor one or the other. It's tough to get both right if you can. You know if you WANNA fifteen hundred horsepower. Twelve hundred horsepower. Kona Zag you can focus your turbo engine on the high end and filling that gap with electric motors on the low end and then of course. That's why you get Bat Shit Crazy Kona zags did you Did you get that Truck from bring a trailer I sent you. Yeah the cyclone I started. I was looking at it for some stupid reason is probably thinking about you and Jay. Leno can can't remember Jay Leno has the cyclone. Or that the yeah. It's J just bought a truck to get his Christmas tree home. One day famously. I think I think the story was. You can check me on it. But he went out to get a Christmas tree and then I probably one out on his bro Motorcycle and any said to the guy like all right. Bring it you know. Deliver it to the House and the Guy. I said that'd be forty bucks. And he said what forty bucks deliver the tree and the guys again and I guess he just bought a cyclone across the street or something like that only just walked across the street to the GMC dealer at the time. And I guess it was new. Let's assume ninety one I don't. I don't think it was new for some reason. Yeah but I don't know maybe because he still has it. I guess we could ask them and now he says it's his rainy day vehicle but he went over there bought. It went back over. There floated up. The tray went over the truck and a Christmas story. Yeah I for some reason I remember him saying something about it. Being maybe a couple years old got a good price on it. Kinda thing like yeah. It's it very well could be. I guess probably those things two years after they were new probably fell off pretty fast right. The couldn't they probably weren't cheap when there were new but the point is I ascended to Matt because as like this truck has the worst steering wheel. Yeah in in history maybe sitter on probably is like the only one that rivals it but even the citron even sitter on the citron how people pronounce it the CITRON. The citron wheel is as bad but the CITRON. The whole cars funky town so it lease is in step with the car. This site. Cologne wheel is the ugliest steering wheel. All Time Weird and there's something wrong like and I don't understand. There are many things. I don't understand in the world of automotive design if I if I worked on that car and that was like a specialty car right there was a it was all wheel drive motors in that thing and it basically had a grand national motor in it so it had the turbo six cylinder out of the grand national life feeling like if I was working on that project I just be like look. We got a cool piece here. All wheel drive two twin. Turbo v Six. Four point three liter. This the the zero to sixty I mean. It was one of the quickest cars of its day car or truck and and Baba Blah. What are we doing with this fucking steering wheel? Steering Wheel is a hoop with one big bar. And it's not even in the center now. I just feel like when when they did the truck. They Bay somehow designed like a gauge package. That if if it if you look at the shape of Chris Christie A photo second ago of it like right on view rise during while the gauges any other kind of shape. And you really can't see the gauges through the steering wheel so they had to come up with this stupid kind of just flat bar like see you see that photo that we're looking. Now you can see the gauges I guess you can move up a little bit more. That center borrow a little bit more in the middle. A it's just a terrible design but I but there's no airbag so here's the advantages. I you can buy this thing or you can get one of these. You could pop off this. You can put any strain while you want. Put This during. We'll on the shelf and it's not gonna it's not gonNA change anything right if anything. It just means you original steering wheel's not going to wear down and roll around town and your your grant steering wheel or your sparkling will airbags another issue right. Yeah it is the GODDAMN UGLIEST STEERING WHEEL. It really is. I always 'cause I always thought these trucks cool but the interior was was terrible. It's just such a flat dash and just plastic everywhere. It's like the Camaro in the eighties that we talked about like my had an eighty seven. Camaro and it was just black plastic flat everywhere and ahead all the fake Allen head plastic screws in it and it just didn't it was. It was a terrible this kind of back then and It was around this era of vehicle. But I do like the truck. Yeah I just I am. I'm really dumbfounded and perplexed. Oftentimes when people that are really capable do really dumb things for a really long period of time I I would never buy an American car because of the interior like I just. I just hated American interiors. I just hate it I. I look at a poked my head in a corvette in the eighties or Camaro or or you know a certainly like a Chevy truck or something and I just go. Yuck it's embarrassing like you're offending me. I don't I don't but why was there's no there was nobody? Gm there's like. There's nobody who just went. Hey man fake Allen's grows it it just it looks stupid we look like we got caught trying here. This dorky like all you. It's so funny I mean I'm not. I know I've said this before but like I was around in nineteen eighty four when people you know when my rich friends had a Volkswagen Golf. Gti or even a even a god. Like I'm trying to think jetta or something like Jimmy Old Jeddah at some point I knew guys are jettisoned. Gti's and stuff like that and you put your head in that car and it looked pretty damn good like in a mid eighties. That's a decent looking interior. The buttons are pretty cool. The Dash is pretty cool and then I had a friend or two. That had a chimera on you. Put your head in that car and you go what the fuck is going on here and then I just kept all I would always say like doesn't anyone at GM have a gen or GTI or just any other cheap car that has like a nice ish interior. I don't know Toyota. Supra our CELICA or something like just go do that in your car. Just do some version of that and when you're saying now because a lot of car companies they brag about that and they're saying. Oh you know we developed you know developing the new whatever the shelby. Gt Three fifty. And we you know we use the the Porsche nine eleven or the and the and the M four benchmarks for performance design like great. I guess nobody did that back then. Nobody said Hey should we? Should we go across the go across the freeway here to somebody? Else's lot by one of their cars impregnated and take a look. See what they're doing. The you take a look at like what would be the flagship performance automobile for Ford and GM Chevy so you take a look at the corvette and the Mustang. The to kind of sports sports cars are performance oriented cars top of the food chain for Chevy and Ford. For the most part you take a look at a corvette interior from nineteen seventy three to two thousand and one and it was junk. I mean I it was. It was literally like a twenty five year thirty year. Run of horrible. Maybe I'll go nine thousand nine hundred seventy three to. Let's say nine hundred ninety seven or something like that was like twenty five years of unadulterated Shit Interiors. And then you take a look at a Mustang and you take a look the Mustang and you go like seventy five to two thousand or Nineteen Ninety Shit X. Or something like that. These are twenty year runs of horrible interiors. It's inexcusable I would never buy Mustang. Never bike or read. 'cause I'd have to sit in and be like this looks like shit and I really can't figure it out because you take a look in a BMW two thousand and two for like nineteen. Sixty-nine it's got a cool interior. And then there's the three twenty I from nine hundred seventy nine nine hundred eighty like had a cool interior like my dad had a VW Rabbit. Didn't tear was fine like it was stripped down bottom of the barrel. First Year like seventy four rabbit and that kind of okay uperior cloth. Everything was by the way in the Corolla world. No cloth didn't mean leather vinyl everywhere. It was like it. My Dad's ran out of the black vinyl. My aunt no garage. My Dad's seventy four rabbit was vinyl seats vinyl floor mats Vinyl Floor Vinyl.

"But that's a tiny engine and it's and it's three cylinder and while that's six hundred. He must make that engine he makes and it says Chambliss technology and the whole thing so I propose to Goldberg. Hey when is it going to be that somebody calls Kona Zag and says hey? I'm doing a Sima Build. I just want your little three cylinder six hundred horsepower. Two liter engine. Yeah you can put that thing like an RDA. Four hundred Yamaha hundred and forty pounds stupid motorcycle at the V. Eight engine boss. Hog or or dickey's Chevy three fifty in it. Why Cody's engine? They had one with a viper engine. Engine and yeah. It's it's retarded fucking ridiculous that's crazy. That's crazy crazy. I'm going to say this. I've said look it's never been a better time to be a poor guy and in need a car or like middle poor regular guy because you could get a three year old mini cooper ass You get it You know bring a trailer and Ebay or something. You could get a three-year-old mini cooper as for nineteen thousand dollars and have a cool little or that was under warranty that worked and BLAH BLAH BLAH. And is there have been a better time to be rich to now. You have to remember you know maybe the key maybe about the heart of the car era is. I mean personally is sort of like when I left high school. I didn't have. I didn't have a car in high school and when I left high school it was time to start thinking about to start. It's time to start thinking about cars in dreaming about cars and I was like I needed a piece of shit pickup truck or something so I could do construction but also of course I was a car guy and I was dreaming of the day you know. What could I get you? Turn the clock back to nineteen eighty two three four when I was struggling and living garage but kind of dreaming about like Wolf. I strike at big. Like what kind of car would I get? It was like Ferrari had a three eight or three twenty eight. Th the Mondiale of the Mondial Brar was coming out Porsche had nine eleven S. C. Or something that was sporty looking The turbo had been out. But it wasn't. You know two hundred and forty horsepower or something like that or whatever. It was two sixty to twenty somewhere in there. JAG didn't have any offering BMW. Had I don't think they were getting into the the head gotten into the m stuff yet. There's this like three series and five series you know Let's see Porsche. Ferrari America American stuff just had like big trans. Am They don't take four wheel disc on the handle getting sloppy plastic stuff the big junky crappy stuff again. There wasn't you know wasn't any mini Cooper. There wasn't any you know. Four didn't really have anything that was too sporting you know they had a mustang and a big plastic to me and stuff and nothing. There wasn't any real performance in anywhere you couldn't find any real performance and Ferrari. Yeah you couldn't you know Porsche. Porsche is always a little better than everyone else. But even they were struggling to find a real strong Sixty times emissions kicking in and things like that all my God. A picture really sure killing horsepower. Fat from one thousand nine hundred eighty two graduated high schools like worse corvette ever. It is like there wasn't anything out there and I remember just kind of going like well even if I do strike. I still wanted to drive up. You know Lamborghini I guess at a coon. Tash starting to get a little oversized. I'll there was. There was nothing. Yeah there's nothing good and and it was all super expensive. I'm way more money than I could ever even dream of affording but it wasn't anything decent and so I was like well. What have I got seventy one to forty Z or a thousand roadster? Dotson from sixty nine like. Let's let's not go ahead in time. Let's go back in time. See what there is either way. It's a good time now to buy yourself a sporting car there's a whole bunch of stuff in the BMW LINEUP. One series two series three years you know and and there's a whole bunch. Ford's got a bunch of cool stuff. I mean this whole bunch of brands. That weren't even really in that realm that department and a couple of things like there's a bunch of cars two three years old that are fantastic. Oh and as we always kinda talk about that that Audi r eight era a buy one of those three years old look big shot for sixty thousand dollars or whatever. It is We got our Petersen Automotive Museum Car Cast Live and we also have We're going to do a car. Judging right we're going to carshield car show. We've got four category so far in our friends at jags stepped up. They're going to give two hundred and fifty dollar gift cards to each of the category winners. And that'll be the Peterson March. Twenty first and I'm trying to figure out when it starts because it says starts at two but should people start rolling up. If you want your car judge. Yeah time she'd start pulling it. I think. I think you get into a little bit early. The spectators are allowed to go in at two. So you can. You can load your car in a little bit before that and it goes late. It goes to about ten at.

"You're listening to castle car. Cast on podcast one. A all right. Well we Get into Some cool new electric cars will talk about The Trans am race coming up. What else do we discussed manage program New Kona Zag? What an amazing piece of machinery and what a vast wasteland of exotic cars or performance cars. I had available to me when I got out when I got out of high school. Not that I could afford. I couldn't afford a mini. I couldn't afford a Toyota mini. Many inner bad no headrests pickup truck new. But you know my problem was. I'd open the newspaper coming your upbringing. Well yeah incoming upbringing but the problem would be is. I would see these things in the newspaper. Like universal city. Nissan can put you in a new nineteen eighty-five Nissan pickup truck for payments as little as eighty nine dollars a month. And I'd go. I think I could handle that. I could do eighty nine. I couldn't drive a new and then get there and it'd be like it was just one truck and then also your credit scores horrible. We'd have charged twenty seven percent and and we need three thousand dollars down and I just feel like yeah. This is red reason. Why couldn't have news rock fake news? I'll tell you what's real news. Tommy John Everyone Tommy John. They don't give an f they give three FS. "Peterson dot org slash car cast a show is your car and come out for the screening of Shelby American and some Some unseen footage some of the DVD. Extras I say. Dvd Extras bottom. It's blue rates. Dvd It's extras. I don't know what it is but it'll be alive car. Cash show is well. We're working on booking some some some very cool guests for that and happy to say that our friends from Jags From JAGS DOT com. They just a call and said hey man. We want to be a part of this. So we're we're going to have a car show and we're we have four categories of cars that are going to be judged and jags has stepped up and saying you know what you guys want to modify your cars get some cool stuff. They're giving away two hundred and fifty dollars gift card to each of the four category winners so show off your car. Maybe win some prizes. It's going to be cool event All right so there's a bunch of cars that were supposed to be released at Geneva and you're starting to see them pop up all over the place but there's a few on the list that you know some of the bigger cars The most impressive cars because we love the unattainable especially for regular folk But a big move. What do you guys think of the Porsche? Nine Eleven Turbo S. it's interesting that That Porsche released the twenty twenty one. Nine eleven turbo ask before the regular turbo and they did that because they they wanted it to be a halo car but also they said the turbo s out sells the regular turbo. Even though it's a big price bump but most people apparently that are spending that kind of money buying or leasing. I don't really know what the numbers are on those They'RE OPTING FOR THE TURBO S. And I've always thought the turbo s was a was a better Was a better deal when you think of some of the things that are included in it But it's GonNa be it's GonNa be pretty interesting. This is what we know about About the Turbo S is first of all it gets pretty significant bump in power. The Turbo S was five hundred and eighty horsepower. And now it's bumped to six hundred forty horsepower. And it's interesting because if it's five eighty and they bump it to six hundred six hundred horsepower. Number is nice but at that point. It's really Kinda difficult to feel twenty horsepower. But when you get this kind of a bump it does. It does make a difference. It does make a difference. This is something that you can you can feel. And what does that translate to a zero to sixty two point? Six seconds it's amazing bumper? Do with cars two point six seconds and if you feel like drag racing the thing. This thing will run ten fifties off the showroom floor. Pretty right it's got a top speed of two hundred and five miles an hour. I don't know if you're going to be able to do that but but it's it's pretty interesting and there's a lot going on with the car. There's a lot of A lot of development and changes into the car as far as how they package everything air intakes or the air filters are It's going to be It's a three point eight liter like we said six hundred and forty horsepower. Five hundred ninety pound feet of Torque and that's a jump of seventy four pound feet of torque over the previous model and I think that's where you're really gonNa feel it especially off the line is you're gonNA feel that That big Torque. I think the previous a Turbo S. two zero to sixty two point seven and this is two point five. I don't know it's pretty crazy right. Like the amount of powered how fast these things are crazy and how impressive that is. Can we skip the McLaren and go right to the four door? What is it a Mirror Chimera? So yes all right. We're GonNa take your because you just talk about the stats now compared to stab so four with this four door car. All right but that we're going to touch on a few of these by the Porsche. Turbo S. Two hundred and four thousand two four two four eight fifty for the coupe to seventeen six fifty for the Cabriolet and anybody that knows portion knows. That's pretty much alicarte card base price so feel free to throw objects on top of that all right. So let's talk about the Chona's egg on the McLaren as well because I do like the mcclair the Kona Zag camera is. I don't know if it's Jim Rome against I'm GONNA say camera. But here's the thing is is I just think of Godzilla in Gammarra and the big flying turtle that spins around and shoots a laser beam out of his mouth or I think I always. I just think of camera camera is the Best Godzilla Character. I always thought so anyway. Kona Zagan veils. What they call a hybrid mega car. I don't know why we're mega car. Now we had supercar. We had hypercard. Now we're at mega car. And this is crazy. So one thousand. Six hundred and seventy seven horsepower. It'll launch zero to sixty two miles an hour in one point nine seconds or see it has four seats it is a four door is not a four door. It's a four seater and it has two big doors that just straight up scissor door right. So they caught a pop out and swing out. It looks cool. Looks so fricking cool. This car is is so funny. It's awesome I mean the I mean you look at okay. Dodgers rumored to have a wide body held cat Red Eye charge coming up right. I don't have seven ninety seven. And that's a four-door that's a dedicated Ford or big you know Fourth seat car not This is just short two doors because these things are gigantic. You know they sit but it's got four seats in the state and the numbers are just crazy. I just love the fact of were even looking at this right. One thousand six hundred seventy seven horsepower but two thousand five hundred eighty one three and a tour. This is a monster and apparently it's got room in it with those big door swinging open. Four people can get in and out of this thing basically at the same time. It's got giant like infotainment touchscreens. In the front and the rear. But it's you know it's cool for you know like erasing seats. Basically that are in it but talk about some of the innovative stuff at Conan's etta cone exert he's doing we've seen them develop their own carbon fiber wheels and there are Cam Lewis engine uses Servoz To to open the valve. So they can control lift. There's no real limitation on lift like on a Cam. The timing of it so so cool what they what these guys are doing. But this is what's interesting is. There's a gas engine and I believe three electric motors and the gas engine is listen to this. It is a sequentially turbo charged to leader in line. Three cylinder okay. The re cylinder engine two liter three cylinder and the gas engine alone puts out five hundred ninety two horsepower out of a two liter leader. That's crazy isn't that insane. Saying beautiful man I gotta sit and it puts out four hundred forty three pound feet of torque out of this two liter inline three and it's incredibly efficient like I don't know what the what the actual gas mileage is going to be on this car but it can it even has cylinder deactivation earl even shut down and just go into easy mode with with the electric motors. The the amount of technology and stuff is incredible on this. Of course it's going to be well over a million dollars. But.

"And our road trip instead of the <hes> the high performance s._u._v. we for the second year in a row now because we loved it so much we drove the new lincoln navigator her black label and this thing allows us to load up all of our gear on the back. It's three rows but the middle row is the big comfy captain's chairs that are heated and it's got it's own air conditioning and and it's got all the u._s._b. Ports and the twelve volt outlets plugs but also has a one ten l. plus. Have you plug in your laptop appear charging some staffer like you know things like that. So we load up. All of our gear fold down the third row seats. We lit up all of our gear. We drive up to monterey array. We dump everything in the airbnb. Our guys <hes> take the other truck and trailer they bring the race car up and now we have an s._u._v. we pop up the third row seats seats and then our track guys can jump in and we can hit up the events the acura event and the live shows and things like that and pebble beach and and everybody can ride in one vehicle so we which had such a great time it's got heated and cooled seats and then it's got massaging seats as well which is great for that long trip so there's the flipside of the high-performance s._u._v. suv world. Is the the luxury s._u._v. world you know and i don't know i feel like everything's kind of expensive these days. I think the lincoln the lincoln black label with everything is like ninety eight grand about one hundred thousand dollars by it was fantastic to drive and i was begging quiet was fast and it's pretty good right. Fantastic sound system so it's kind of the other side of the coin is is the the high performance stuff or you get the big cushy luxury luxury mobile or all the above yeah. Maybe you can get all of the above so we talked. I think it was a couple of weeks ago. How lotus was was one of their concepts was the visa. I think it was called. The ivy josiah is what they're calling. It and it's a it's a supercar hypercard. That's electric four motors. It was one thousand nine hundred seventy two horsepower power and they had the concept at the quail event interesting very impressive <hes> very futuristic <hes> kind of a crazy thing and this is where we were getting into this world of super electric cars. The rimec was there and the rack is unfortunately famous for for the top gear guy from doing that hill-climb event and then kept going over the edge and and crashed and he got a little messed up but he's okay now but <hes> the remek was there the this this lotus was there. It's interesting to see the quail. Lodge is such a great event and they have all the the cars on the lawn but then the manufacturers have their displays blazin. It's sort of become <hes> like the the the small manufacturer supercar world sorta porsches their bentley's their gatti's there <hes> but kona zag was there. Was there singer. All the singer porsches had a big display. That was cool to see that d- tomas o. p. seventy one was there <hes> the ghani guys were there <hes> we talked to the guys and <hes> <hes> and they were telling us about the <hes> the wire abi see the roadster. That car was there so some pretty cool pretty cool stuff. I'll tell you the the the kona zag jess go is a pretty bad ass lookin' vehicle in person and and bugatti we film stuff with bugatti <hes> <hes> we we have the show called going racing going racing without i'm crawling on pluto ryan and i think it's all on pluto tv. We have our own channel our own chassis media channel on pluto t._v.'s you guys check it out. There and we put up these these episodes of going racing. It's stuff with me stuff with adam and stuff at the car auctions and <hes> and adamant film sort of a walk around.

"It's gonna they're going to be the white as tires, you know, s just gonna be couples surprises on this car. So it's, it's gonna be it's gonna be fun. That's why I need to talk to him in person about. Yeah, you need to go out there and kinda get the lowdown and get some ideas. And I'm sure they're gonna have a nice little presentation set up for you to get a time. I like the idea. I like the idea of going extreme and. And kind of be in the first, like let's do a little Aren d you know, let's figure out what we need to do and what we need to improve on. I did that. I like some of that stuff. Why not you know you only live once? Anyway, that all being said, I don't know that we're going to get we have much time to get into my hyper car talk. I wanted to get into some of these cars like Kona zag sixteen hundred horsepower, you know, the Aston Martin Valkyrie, which, by the way, is basically, an L P one race car with a license plate on it. It was just like it's so insane, venom five the Hennessey Venema five is targeted at sixteen hundred horsepower. It's going to be V eight twin turbo. And they're saying three hundred mile an hour, top speeds sub ten second one hundred eighty six miles an hour. And I saw the engine on display at the at Sima and at the quail last year. But, but I don't know if you guys saw my post is a couple of weeks ago. So here in LA, we have a big event called E three it's electric entertainment, expo e-3 is the Sema show for video games. And. Every time that happened to tear of the L A convention center, all the big companies are out there and our friends from four to motorsport go out there, and they always have a big display, and they have some events, and partner events, and in consumer events and things like that. And they invited me to one of their one of their smaller events with, with all their bosses and stuff over there. It was fun to go there and chat with them and catch up with everybody, and they had a rim AC over on display in the room. Is that all electric supercar hyper car whatever, it's a very famously the one that, that I guess a Hammond wrecked on the grand tour. That crazy was doing that. Hill-climb went off the edge and he's. He's okay. Thank god. But that was just a crazy thing. And I think the remake I think that's a prototype car. I don't know if that was even ever production car but, but the one that they are planning on producing. It's called the two it's very, very nerdy. It's c- underscore TWA. Oh, so it's not. See to see to whatever. It's, it's electric and we love the electric the electrification of some of these things because of the amount of torque. Right. So this thing is one thousand eight hundred eighty eight horsepower and one thousand six hundred ninety six pound feet of torque. They say top speed of two hundred and fifty eight miles an hour, which is great for, for an electric car. I don't know how the transmission works video has gears. Or if it's just one like mostly electric cars, they're saying zero to sixty one point nine seconds, and it'll do the quarter mile nine point one seconds in street. Trim just it is. It is insane, right? It's insane. So the one that I saw at the four to motorsport event, I believe, was their concept one that was twelve hundred horsepower and like eleven hundred and eighty pound feet of torque in two twenty one top speed. That's how they now we're talking almost thousand nine hundred horsepower and seventeen hundred. Fee to arc. Anyway, it's going to be it's going to be insane and it's actually pretty cool looking, it's I'm, I'm a fan of by the way, they're also saying, four hundred mile range, obviously, not at two hundred fifty eight miles an hour, but it's one hundred twenty kilowatt battery pack and it has six thousand nine hundred sixty liquid cooled lithium ion lithium lithium ion cells that power the saying, and it looks kinda bad ass..

"Or is it maybe when cars, like demons and GT, three fifty's became as fast as supercars they became the supercars, and now anything over, like a million bucks has to be a hyper car because it's like I guess this point that something to petition. But we I actually had that conversation, the other day with somebody, and it's, it's amazing how many quote unquote supercars they are now and so I guess the differentiate themselves with a supercar they, you know, there there has to be another class. So. Who's to say that there that you can't make one up. It's interesting because we have so many extreme cars. We have super sedans and sports cars that are. Like arguably let's say a Cadillac v that cars, bad asset, and it's really fast. Is it a supercar because of how fast is it a supercar because is it not a cyber Cobra county grand? Don't figure red is super car. I don't think the demons of supercar, it's I think super cars are super cars have to do with their there. There's a there's a European influence Monica. I believe. No. Yeah. So. I. Yeah. I guess so. Yeah. There is. Now, we don't even go sense what we've always been used to write it in, in our world here. We have what we have we had like the sleekness seven supercar. Maybe that's hypercard territory. I believe we have the SEC. Is that the Shelby ac-? No -ffiliated with the actual Shelby. But that the SE those are the American ones Hennessy is doing thing as well with his, we'll get into that. But then, again, it's like, hey, the tesla roadster that we talked about before adamant I did on the other show. It's like that car is claiming to be zero to sixty one point nine seconds or something like two seconds and two hundred and fifty mile an hour, top speed that seems like hyper car numbers. But is it considered that I don't think it is considered? Supercar hypercard, just I want to get people's dipping nations of the I want to be would be. I'm sure they're going to be all across the board. But like the information body, and, and all right here classic is what do you guys say is the difference between supercar and hyper car? And follow question is do even care. Is it the same or do you care like do we care for call it? Hypercard supercar and. Do we need to differentiate or or not if there's if there's a? A written down version of of, you know, a definition of those than than let me now because I didn't pay man. I think I think hypercard is a Ferrari with, you know, a hybrid, you know, system and over eleven on it worst power. I mean, okay, you know, I think that immediately, but to them the hypercard field. That's just and I think what differentiates is the is the, the adding you know of the sewn some bullshit. Yeah. So it's gotta have some sort of electron of case electrification. So all right. Well, that's going to be an interesting thing because Hennessy has their f five venom that they're going to be talking about, and that does not have any electric occasion to it. So, however, there is another point about that car that I will bring up in a minute. As far as setting world records. Who determines the world I could just do it right now is the Guinness Book of world records has cars listed for the fastest car. Not quickest zero sixty and they haven't listed for the, the top speed. And, you know, Kona zag and boo Coty, and Hennessy, and they're all going after this, but Guinness. Defined the record of fastest production car, meaning having built thirty vehicles built, and I guess sold thirty vehicles are more and, and the. The Hennessy what was the previous one, the new ones Venema five. What was yellow one? Be no. The one I'm talking about the Aerosmith guy had one was at Jackson from what I understand. They actually built twenty nine of those..

"Now here's the thing, the, the, the one point nine, I'm sure they've vetted that they've done it's era to sixty tests. Where's your to fifty test, and plus mile rain? Yeah. And six twenty look I look at that. That's awesome. I would love to see that. Oh, yeah. With a six hundred mile range, right? Yeah. That's like what is it going to happen? Runs eighties in the quarter mile according to their like they can test that, right? Can't we just club can eat way and just do it? They contest everything if they if they want. Yeah. Goes over two hundred fifty miles an hour. But you're right. That's the hype like I'd put a deposit down on that if they can do that. But I wanna back when it doesn't go to fifty. Well I'm not saying but I'm saying if they did. I think we'd know it some footage, there'd be a go pro dashcam or something radar gun or something right? Yeah. Yeah. That's not over to fifty. What is the is guiding Shiran or something like what is that? The thing to sixty two or something like what it's. H I R is that the it's actually one to sixty one that's the leader in the clubhouse. Well, that's, that's the sheri- top speed. Yeah. I tested it, bent. That's the thing. No one's going to be able to really test on the street so that they're probably thinking, no one's going to be able to call them now. The Kona zag is probably going after that. So there's this race for three hundred miles an hour. It's like Bugatti Kona zag Hennessy. These guys are all going after three race. It's going to get there. I is Whitey. Five. As a why really is, she's kind of he's Phil. So let's so funny because I. The Pebble Beach two years ago, I pulled right up next to him in my NSF that you keep going. And then I looked over at him. And he said, oh, nice then a sex. And I was like, well, nice your car. Accent to drive a Karol. For Steve, the Kona. Yeah, nobody. That name thing. What color is your SX? It's a silver said. They only make five hundred in that color. Black, the black tie the Pulp Fiction, one that the wolf in that car. Drove a silver. Yeah. That's such a cool fanatic carts, aluminum car, right? Limited panels, all Monica body, Lumina m-, car to come out and it's not inexpensive..

"You said you gotta gained some weight. Just sit in the heated seats, your RTC, Jim before your workout loosen up. The most up more seats from from the demons outages sitting in my garage. I have a dining room table. That would be fantastic. Do a just a big S RT dining room table. All right. So we are pushing for time we're gonna have to let this place go soon. But let me tell you guys. Oh, hold on one second before you get into the ad. Have you seen Aston? Martin's new, hyper car. Who is it Valkyrie is making twelve of them three point two million bucks. It's an F one car basically for the street revs to seven thousand. Oh, yeah. I read about that the engine. Oh my God. That car is fantastic. Looking. Yeah. What what kind of payday you're getting into by just wondering said Mars all your list? It's surely it surely not all my win. Yeah. Man. I'm just telling sometime, you see these cars, and you know, I'm not gonna say she precursor dime above and right now. But there there's a lot of them that looked kind of saying. Yeah, this this thing is absolutely John dropping, you know. When you listen to the show on Friday adamant, I talk about the Porsche nine seventeen concept car to the Porsche nine eighteen is the the the most recent I guess previous generation, but the most recent supercar by Porsche and Porsche is saying that next supercar could be based on their nine seventeen concept car years believably off, and it is bad ass looking. Yeah. That's really cool pass looking thing and portions comments were we wanna do a super car because we can start with a clean sheet of paper. A like we already have the nine eleven we keep evolving the nine eleven but with a supercar we don't have to do that. We can do kind of whatever we want. We can play all mosh to we can pay cash to one of our legacy cars to something fresh, and it'll probably be some sort of electric or hybrid electric kind. Supercar which is kind of which is interesting, and I'm sure the ass and Martin is going to be similar. Actually. Ninety horsepower. Because of and if you haven't seen the I think I got a photo of it. When I was at the New York auto show, the Kona zag, Jessica, I think it's the comes Jessica, it's cool. Look and supercar, but we look at the way the rear wing is attached the rear wing is in the rear wing location. But the attachment points don't go go down to like the trunk lid or even rear bumper area. They actually extend forward almost to the rear glass of the cockpit. And it makes me think that it's our ticketing maybe the whole wing just goes up and down on a giant like like pivot arm. It's kind of cool. I love the sea that car in motion right now, they have their first one or whatever their touring around New York auto show do in the European shows and stuff, but that things pretty bad as well. And would you really get into the to the brain of Christian? Bon Kona zag, I believe his name is just a super smart guy. And and..

"That we're seeing so many more and more of these performance SUV's coming out there spy shots now of of the Aston Martin SUV, and it actually looks pretty good. I mean, obviously, it's a niche audience, but an Aston Martin SUV. And and there's been this talk for so long this Ferrari, do SUV do they not do an SUV, and you know, one boss over there says definitely not not in our pedigree and other bosses like year, we're going to do it. And they're publicly traded company they gonna make money and not that they don't. But you know, they continue to make money and evolve, but I think we are going to see a Ferrari SUV, and you're and I'm fine. Fine with it. I'm fine with it. Here's thing is people. I know everyone's not everyone like. I don't think I don't think the Porsche Cayenne whether you like it or don't like it. I don't really think it hurt that brand it it did a lot for the company financially and the portion Micon, and and it needs to evolve somehow, these all these car companies need to evolve somehow, and and and who knows where they're going to go. Are we going to get a Kona zag SUV? I don't know probably not doesn't seem like it's in the works for a small niche, very expensive of vehicle for those guys. But you know, it Maserati has it alpha male has it, you know, Jaguar has a hot SUV Land Rover has really hot SUV, not just any SUV. But like all performance SUV's, and and end Lamborghini the Uris like we're still trying to get one to drive. I don't know why they keep showing the yellow and around it looks like a Pontiac asked. Why make this? The bug yet. Right. And. But I I have a feeling that thing is bad ass to drive. So, you know, they they don't have a lot of press cars were on the list to get one while I'm gonna try one out. See what we think? Look, I we were talking before. I drove the alpha male Stelvio SUV the quad folio, which is hot SUV five hundred five horsepower. And at the New York auto show, they announced the entering version, basically, the nerve ring version of of the Julia and the salvio so they said eight five hundred five horsepower isn't hot enough. Let's let's make it hotter. I don't have the full specs on it. But got up on..

"Pretty much expect a push. Rod v eight. It's it's, it's very interesting and it's got, you know, a cool intake and twin turbos and but not. You know, he's not doing twin Cam for valve. It's not that innovative. It's just it's just American muscle pumped up to eleven, basically what it is. It's not anything super trick. I don't think it's like a trick. Hemi head. I'm not sure. But yeah, this thing's going to. This is going to have. I think the technical term is crap loads of suspension or of horsepower. Door how, how this statistically match up with an SE that they've been thinking about coming out with which I've seen, which is absolutely jaw dropping looking car. I don't know where that's going to go, but I do know that every time Hennessy says stuff like this Kona zag listens very closely and Kona zag. Like if you're going to go three, eleven, I'm gonna go, three, twelve. He's that guy. He's doing it all in good fun. This is good, fun competitive of a NIST between between these guys. This isn't like, you know, you know. This isn't them yelling at each other. It's not acrimonious stir they're having fun with it. So I think we all and and we all benefit right? And we're, we're getting cool stuff. So Hennessy's going to do it with a six. Sorry, seven point six liter twin. Turbo push rod v eight, they think is going to be sixteen hundred horsepower at seventy two hundred RPM and Kona. Zag is going to do it with his sort of bespoke and Jin with like the, I don't know the this, the spring list valves or something that is doing. I forgot what is what his technology was. We talked about it before, but I forgot what the technology was. That super interesting that he's doing where each valve has a spring and it has an oil control system on it. So like we can change timing like like, you know, the the adjustable timing and you know, in a lot of cars is done by oil pressure. But what he has is computer chip basically a module on every single valve so he can. He can control each valve independently. Chona's eggs, super, super trick. Stuff like we'll have to get into that more at some point. But. The spectrum from what Hennessy's doing? Yeah, different way. Just a completely different way of doing things and they're both going after the same. But we liked that one's not like super competitive with the other, but. Anyway, we've got to give up this studio. I apologize for that guys. You know, we'll get some more stuff about the Hennessy. Our buddy Robert Angelo that we've had on the show back before shifted Seyran car cast. I believe he does all the videos Hennessy. So he's been around documenting the Venema five for years. So we'll ask him to come in at some point and and talk about it. So, and he came in and brought the GT's venom, GT spider. That's Hennessy brought him. Yeah. Yeah, the venom GT yellow on, yeah. All right. We're going to wrap it up..

"Is there any testing on that car? I'm not seeing anything. I mean, how long has that underground tunnel. Yeah, they never test that car has never gone two hundred fifty miles an hour. Now they have some projection work goes to fifty. Yeah, right. Right. Fan, they're, they're not going to go two hundred fifty miles an hour. Yeah, but neither is Joe Koy so That's a good, that's good. that's fine. I like Joe's heads at. I liked that he's going after like performance car. He's got a tesla now, right? Yeah, truckers got the axe. What is that thing retail for? He said he's going to get it in a year. Yeah, his ex, by the way, the big one with the super battery and the fast SUV. Yeah, the the, the top, the top here when the founder series five thousand dollar deposit and two fifty total. Now, maybe that's what they meant. Zero to sixty. One point nine two hundred fifty. Cat of your Bank. Get the car when we give it. Maybe that's what gives us the deposit now because we need that to make all the other cars. It's no way that cargoes do fifty. No, no way that it'd be the fastest. Well, I mean the Veron shareowner whatever Chiran Kona zag and this is like two fifty two. Yeah. I think they're kind of getting up in that range and they're all sort of kind of chasing three hundred. That's the goal like Hennessy wants to get. Everyone is a lot closer to two fifty. Then there are three hundred. Yeah, look and move. If the move. Sorry, skews you the move for what people don't realize is the move from one fifty to two is big. Yeah, the move from two to two fifty is monumental to to to ten minute fifty. Two three is is is a huge cat. I mean so much more. The difference. Between getting to a buck fifty and two hundred as one hundred fifty horsepower or two hundred horsepower but from getting from two to fifty six hundred more horsepower. Yeah, and from two fifty to three need another eleven hundred horsepower somebody said, here's three million dollars. Go to your favorite.
