That is not linear so i think many people are surprised to learn that i came straight out of engineering school from the university of illinois and started my career as a military communication analysts so really designing and analyzing scenarios for wartime and the end of the world And i did that while. I was a hughes fellow at hughes space and calm and at the end of that i realized I didn't want to see in the classified world for my career. So i joined the internal project within the company which lucky me turned into its own company which is directtv so a satellite tv company challenging the cable industry with an improved customer experience. I'm better selection pricing and That business just took off and so as part of the engineering team of a company that had a startup culture but the cash you know from a larger company which risk hughes i just moved from You know over a range of different engineering roles. Everything from doing satellite design to negotiating transmission standards for high definition to a testing and certifying consumer electronics and then also leading big projects to build out broadcast center infrastructure.

With every passing day, the harder it'll be to reach vaccination targets

"There's been nearly three hundred thousand. Doses of coronavirus vaccine have been deleted across australia since the rollout began. But we heard from epidemiologist mary. Louise mclaughlin weeks ago that we would have to be vaccinating about one hundred and nine hundred thousand people a day to reach our targets and of course we haven't been vaccinating that many people a day for weeks now so presumably. We've gotta make up that shortfall and norman. What are these barriers at stopping us from from really ramping up this roll out to the stage that it needs to be at for us to actually make those targets well. One barrier is simple. Logistics is that we don't have the vaccine. We haven't had the vaccine in the country. We didn't get a batch of astro which was blocked by italy coming in it may well be in the future of the twenty million of doses. They may be delayed as well as if they get blocked by europe. Hopefully they won't be and so we've got a supply issue while our local supply comes on stream which is coming onstream now and that's going to be a good thing. But that's a million a week that supposedly coming on we've had more vaccine in the country we should have been able to distribute it more than we have. We haven't been able to do that. And it's been miscommunication which the federal government and general practice generates confused the communities confused and not enough. Vaccines are getting through to general practice. There are multiple issues here and of course the federal government is committed to doing this through general practice which is fine general. John apprentices wanted to do that has been success with the gp respiratory clinics and doing and we can actually see a ramp up there. But you're absolutely right. Teeing is that for every week. That goes by and you miss that target you. Just add on that target to the next week. And then you missed that target you add onto the next week. So you cumulatively are talking about much more than one hundred nine hundred thousand a day because you've got to catch up now what's going to have to happen down. The track is only going to be a limit to how much general practice can do. And we're going to have to include the state's not in the states to take over but the states can tool up. Imagine pretty quickly to provide services for large numbers of people in convention centers in football stadiums and other places independent hospitals people can get on with the regular job here and that would be for all comers. Once people immunize our high risk healthcare workers people in age care cetera. Then you could just say to people forget all this business turn up a local convention center will tell you what the waiting time is and just get it done. You don't have to make an appointment. Just turn up and anybody turn up. Who wants suits and you deliver it that way. In addition to general practice not instead of in addition. That's sort of uplift you're going to have to need and the you're going to need and the komo government will inevitably move in that direction. The only way they're going to achieve the target

Tribal nations are already available to everyone. Jennifer show is a nurse. Practitioner at fort belknap tribal health department. She says they are. Well positioned to distribute the vaccine because of partnerships with indian health service and a longstanding public health nursing program that trained nine local nurses who handled contact tracing at the beginning of the pandemic girls. Were ready to go ready to start helping. Get the axing out with our population which is another plus for us. The girls work out in that area and they know how to get a hold of them. Which i think kind of helped us with getting. This rolled out so much faster as well. Tribes are also try and create a vaccination strategies show says fort belknap tribal health began vaccinating teenagers in the area. Inside New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's history of 'bullying' foes, staffers

"The headlines around cuomo's behavior has been about his sexual predatory actions right and there's been a lot of them and and We can talk about those. But i think there's something i haven't really seen disgust as much and other you get into it in. Your piece is just the general toxicity and bullying and how we don't have a lot of language for that right and we need to get better language for it. And one of the things that i found in as i was beginning to report this piece leading up to it and i reported it fairly quickly. Actually because it was in the midst of this big breaking news cycle around cuomo and i was trying to keep up and But one of the things that i noticed was happening is there was coverage of You know what is called the nursing home scandal which is a new york attorney. General james released a report showing that the cuomo administration had underreported nursing home deaths by fifty percent. And this is. It was an early governing decision. That cuomo in the administration made to send Elderly people who'd been sick with covid out of new york's overcrowded hospitals back into nursing homes and of course once in nursing homes covid spread like wildfire and many people died and the attorney. General did an investigation into this decision and and released a report showing that the administration is under reported the number of deaths Then his ablest address was caught on tape explaining to people that they'd actually hidden those numbers Because they didn't want to be targeted by the trump administration which is an incredibly trumpian move right to obscure the reality like as a political ploy. Then there was additional reporting showing that in factory of his top advisers including lists derosa had altered data had consciously and actively altered the data An altered reports to obscure those numbers. So it's a story not only begins with a bad governing choice and it continues to be about cover up corruption and deception And and that report comes out and then they're in. I think because that creates a weakness for this previously sort of impenetrable shell of andrew. Cuomo right he's been able to behave in all kinds of bad ways over ten years and still you know he has incredibly high approval. Ratings people still view him as immensely competent and just really skilled at hard knuckle politics. But then there's this moment of weakness in in that space comes as state legislator assembling ron kim who describes how in the wake of the nursing homes report Andrew cuomo is called him at home as he's bathing his kids to threaten his job if he keeps criticizing him about the nursing homes and and that gets a lot of national attention run. Kim goes on the view. Then comes the story from lindsey. Boiling a former aide. Cuomo alleging that he sexually harassed her in a very sort of classic sexual harassment way. She worked for him. He asked her she alleges that he asked her to play strip poker that he kissed her against her will that he referred to her by the name of another woman. He said that she resembled. Who is rumored to be his ex girlfriend Then then the story becomes sort of bifurcated thing and this is one of the things i was trying to get at. I am going back to your question. I promise between. There's the story of the nursing homes report and efforts to cover up those numbers. And then there's a story of the sexual harassment and i felt like a lot of people. Were titling back and forth between those two stories In fact to me it seemed very clear that they were one story. And that ron. Kim was another element of that story. And it's it's a story of power abuse that's what the story is yet so a couple of things one. Yes there is a through line here right like it is not. It is not bifurcated stories. There is one story and it all has to do with white male patriarchy and this idea of is political. Theater is the perfect way to describe it because the theater part i think is something you talk about. Your piece doesn't get talked about enough in the coverage of this which is what gets sacrificed when you have a bully in charge is what we saw in the trump administration which is nothing gets done. Like things don't happen government doesn't work because there's all this energy and time and prioritizing of the so there's a bunch of really like deep questions here what is power what is power for. And what do you use it for. How do you build it right. And and how do you maintain it. And how do you make it grow. And and there are a lot of different answers that but here's a traditional answer in is one that andrew cuomo in body right you you establish power by establishing dominance how do you establish dominance by subjugating other people. This is something that a former speechwriter spokesman for the story. Who's this brilliant writer komo felix. Who worked for him as a speechwriter. When she was young she has since gone on to write literally a book of poetry that was nominated for a national book award and yet. She told me that she wrote more than thirty speeches. And sets of remarks for andrew cuomo. She thinks he used one okay so and she writes about the experience of having been a young black woman in his administration where she understood that he was nice to her in her case. She's she doesn't complain about ill-treatment from him. That he didn't use her work he didn't he didn't value her intellectually and she describes the feeling of kind of token ization and what she calls a subtle form of ritualized abuse which is understanding that she was there to benefit him. She says to be in the press releases but not to do the work of shaping his speech and his policy in his

BBC Three is Coming Back to TV

"Let's talk about tv and bbc. Three which will be returning to the fusty old fashioned airwaves. After an absence of nearly six years. It's going to be back on. Tv sets in january maggie Will you be watching things target demographic but will you be watching your the target demographic but i'm very piece it's coming back I think he shouldn't've gone away in the fest place. I also like the fact that it's also going to be a following on from cbc so the one of the aims of the bbc. One of the failures of the bbc has been fantastic children's programming. The seabees thought graduating through to see bbc. So we can think of horrible histories strict sonko great great shows but then they lost that advantage and i think now that they're going to take an hour of cbc and move into bbc straight. And i think this is actually a potentially good way of rebuilding interest because they can actually put forward some some grapes. Some great shows whether they'll be watched. I didn't know they can be caught up with but the thing is really spoiled for choice now and to actually just rope a group of a tv channel. Just seems to me to have been a very bad idea. But on the other hand what she see is that the regulators have been nagging away the producers because on the exec because that losing the younger views in but it's a very competitive market so the more outlets you have the best staff is. It's been obvious to real professionals in television including the control of bbc. Three that the decision five years ago it was wrong and so they're finally Reversing it may be too late. But i'm glad that june yes interesting. Jake look back actually or listened back. I should say to what our panelists said here on the media. Podcast when the move was announced that bbc's be bbc three would be moving online because we were on abbott van in two thousand fifteen Leon wilson said on the show to me. It's a huge mistake. It will probably be a qualified. Success will be one or two programs that pumps through online. But it'll be harder for us to be seen and for asthma and said this is nonsense. I can't believe this is happening. Television has an important canvas. That young people under served in time has proven right really. Hasn't it was always a mistake to put bbc three on mine. Can we just say that. Now i think the fact that the bbc's made this decision is a tacit acknowledgement that. It was a mistake. But i also don't think that it was a failure. Bbc three unshackled from the jill did reasonably. Well did very well. In fact some fantastic shows came through within online environment. I'm thinking that alexa flee back which has gone on to huge international success and won emmys and landed phoebe waller bridge a huge deal with amazon. And then you look at things like normal people which came last year plasma successful show Austria and beyond. I think ever Things like this country just quality quality programming now that that's not to say that those shows would not been commissioned if bbc. Three's on television. But i do think there was a creative freedom that came with being online and i hope that that remains that creative freedom continues and the bbc three doesn't have to spend money on shedule filling content like family. Guy like eastenders repeats because that you know that comes with a cost it still comes with. The cost is all repeats but they they still come with a cost shows. So why don't save the cash because all of those shows that jake just listed. Maggie had outings bbc one obesity too anyway. So they did get linear outing. And arguably would have been commissioned even bbc three haven't been an existed somewhere else on the bbc. I'm sure of course feedback with a bit of. The thing is really that that they had a late slot. Which is off to a the news helpless ten which is fine. I suppose but if a peanut the younger teenage area maybe it's better to be a bit more funky roundabout survey to talk of people who've had softened the home what they're looking for some entertainment secondly even if this is a qualified success. It's not you're not saying that. The programming copy shot on another channel. What you'll saying is going to premiere on bbc. Three and the seats will have its own form of promotions. General Ambience and i think that that shows the bbc has about the singer. Bob this past yet really opinion is that we really do well. What what is really happened is despite all channels. Having a terrible television broncos mutawa time in order to make programs have if you had to tear up hills the shadows. I didn't know how they will manage to keep going. It's been a very very very difficult. But they have performed. I think really well. And one of the aspects of it is the the Regulations and the quotas and on the agreements that they strike can have a run the channels what we put in the amount of circle public service will costing lawyers moods of of quotas and measurements to us forty two inches ready test channel phone over a hundred for the for the. They been relaxed because they had to. They had to be what they could be given the circumstances and i think they've done brilliantly and so i do think that another kind of channel to pay rounded up trusting. The bulk custos is at this point. Really good thing. I think that if you look at the energy is gone into some of the changes in just the the kind of logos and all the rest of that using the gen will the bits between the programs. they advertise that pregnancy will be very jazzy. I'm very keen an above all to. They've they've understood what the nation wants so we want more outdoor kind of things. We've had the the devon's on the komo's in the countryside programming that you could possibly drum up and it's been like that too with children Having the the bbc by sesame the government didn't say to bbc in in february across Help children home educate. They just did the juicy and they came up by april with with a complete scheme and then they re extended it. They used radio for Things so i think. Now it's the bbc is about to be besieged on despite order the gloom about since fees advertising and blah blah blah off broke custos. Domestic focuses are ashamed themselves to be foot of grits. And and. I'm beijing

Can teaching your children sign language can help language learning?

"I'm surprised that attachment experts and people that are really You know enthusiastic. I won't say into but you know attachment. I'm they wouldn't have brought this up and said wait a minute. Debate one of the best ways that we can increase attachment in up for kids and their parents would be to teach them to sign. Then the other thing is as far as learning other languages in the future me say your child wants to learn spanish in fourth grade or french or latin. Like i did. It's gotta be so much easier for them because they know how to work different parts of their brain time. They'll both of my kids. I haven't even mentioned this to you. That's what i'm saying. We're on the same wavelength. Both of my kids are well. I i'm trying to get them trilingual and so sign is they know the least amount of words but they are a hundred percent bilingual english and spanish. You could talk to them all day in spanish and not say one and their three or two and three you can letters goalie bonian lebedeva or just as i was getting london from the park. I was talking to her in spanish in saint northstar stormy indo. Why are you not sleeping right now. Let's go given the call sign and schilling george inner mixes. She will one hundred percent. I actually made them a g mail account and i like email them emails so that one day they can read stuff that i like sent to them on. That's my mom again. Jama color jama grant jan and grandma jam telling me to do that so we did that but say gosh. Where was i going with that and we were talking about. You want trilingual hocken about the ease that you Create for your kids in learning third and fourth language. If at early age they've learned to yes and i. It's it's it's very true. Yeah i am telling you. Oh we asked that was her. It was at her pediatrician appointment for her one year. They're like you know. Kimchi say three to five words. I mean my pediatrician. Just couldn't believe her eyes but my son wasn't like that so it's not like they had the same upbringing in the same house. That totally proves every kid is different. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner gives update on power outages and weather impact

"With me now is houston mayor sylvester turner previously served nearly thirty years as a texas state representative. He is in a command center right now. Monitoring situation in his city mayor. Thank you for taking a little time with us. And i don't want to start first with things aren't houston. Are they getting better. Chris in the last twenty four hours. Things have improved yesterday. At this time we had about one point. Three million customers without power Today as i talked to you that number is under thirty thousand in houston region yesterday The the water pressure was extremely low In fact hospitals were having a hard time getting but they needed Just to run a bear chillers to stay warm and other necessities today. The water pressure in the city of houston has increased And hospitals in much better shape at the same time people many of the people able to flush their kamoze improvement with still not wear. We want it to be but yesterday the pressure was below what we call twenty. Ps today as we speak that what a precious right around thirty so being things improving but again we still have some tremendous needs at. They're just zero in on the water aspect of this has been one of the more harrowing parts of it and a kind of a kind of cascade effect. We're going out water treatment facilities. Just explain to me what that means that it does. It mean pressure. Now you can you can. People can run water in their homes. That firefighters have water that hospitals have it is. That is that where things are correct. Hospitals now have watered. That can run the chillers. Keep the patients that doctors and medical staff Warm in in in in cool weather so to speak People able to take showers. Peabody plus two komo but because the water pressure dropped below the regulatory requirement twenty. Psi you automatically have to give ball water. Notices so you have over seven hundred jurisdictions around the state of texas a chieftain san antonio austin example in many others where there are bald notice requirements and that will continue to be the case probably through the weekend at the earliest that ball. What notice could probably be lifted on sunday. But i think for houston probably be monday. Which means if people don't have power because just also ball your water about two minutes but what happens if you don't have power then people are going to rely a great deal on bought a water and that's why starting today We started distributing water to those persons for example. Who don't have the means to go into a grocery store and purchase tomorrow for example will be masked water distribution site in the city of houston where we will probably give out tomorrow anywhere between seven to nine hundred thousand bottles of water primarily for people for families who already on the modulus. Chris and they just can't afford to go in and purchase two and three and four cases of water. And we'll do that Tomorrow saturday sunday until this ball. Water notice has been listed. That's really that's very helpful in understanding where things are. Let me let me also ask what your interfaces have been. With spill state and federal government i know females on the on on the ground. Have you been talking with aircraft that run the the grid with folks from fina. The federal government and with governor abbot. What are those interactions been like. Well i've talked several times with the ceo. Behead of eric hot And n n what he will say to you. Is that the system that we have in the state of texas. Our texas korea is designed for the summer heat. It is not necessarily designed for winter storms and then as relates to this. What happened in this. In the last four or five days that was simply not enough adequate generation supply available to meet the demand and the supply that they had reserved so to speak when with shop when some of the facilities came all flying of been made things even worse and let me quickly speak to those who are trying to say. oh the wind turbine frozen. You shouldn't be looking at renewables as a false false aligned. Being put four because the plants that came off line while natural gas plants coal fired. Plant Nuclear plants came offline. You wind turbine strobes. So it was a combination but when it comes to win and sola that's still only counts for a fraction of the energy that's produced in the state of texas. The rally at reality is that the state was. Ill prepared The other thing that i would add when i was in the legislature but twenty three of my twenty seven years i said on the on the committee that oversees our electric utility industry back in twenty eleven fouled a bill saying to the public utility commission that we need to exert greater oversight over urquhot to prevent blackouts of every kind that we have are experiencing in texas for four for these last four days batmobile. Chris was never given a hearing. And so for anybody. Who's just trying to place the blame on irc That's not enough as part of the story but it's not the total story. Archive is an agency of the state of texas is the leadership of that overseas or cat and what happened in this week with the failure. Not just urquhot but of the statewide leadership state representative state senators. Who didn't do enough to make the necessary. Structural changes prevent what took place this week but mccurry and as a result of that hundreds of thousands of texans paid a horrible price and they are number of stony that we live in the city of my city that anada that not allowed to date to go into next week. Vaccines arrive in Australia. Now the challenge begins

"We mocked a really significant milestone in the coronavirus pandemic e that. We've been having norman. The first isis of the fis coronavirus vaccine. Which has been approved for use by the therapeutic goods administration touchdown in australia. Ready to start rolling them at next week to the high priority groups so big milestone. what does the next phase actually look like though the rollout. Well i think a lot of it's been left to the states a suspect that what you'll see is remarkable uniformity which is the first line of defense and the first line of people who are most vulnerable as we've seen again and again and again people who are working on our borders driving buses transporting people from the airport and working in hotels looking people who've just arrived so those are the people who will be immunized i i i would imagine a right around the country that will protect them. They will get the pfizer vaccine. Mostly which is good because that gives the most chance of reducing transmission if they do get infected was protecting them against disease and then aged care and high priority. Health care workers so frontline healthcare workers that first phase and. We haven't heard too much of exactly. Who's going to do what we're in terms of administering vaccines. I know that. A lot of general practices have volunteered. We do have a good network of general practices. So should be okay. But i'm getting any feedback from various parts of australia. Saying they're really from people in the business. If you like who are saying. They're really not sure what the plans are so. I think it's still a work in progress. But the first phase shoot go ok e one would hope and then there's a process of with komo's taking responsibility for care and getting enough doses out into each care which are most vulnerable communities. Should the vaccine escape into the general community right one of the questions that were getting a lot of from people from audience members. He's will we be notified when it's when it's out turn but we don't know that yet. I'm not sure how that's how that is indeed going to work. But i assume that there are ways through medicare numbers and other means that the government can text phone number. I know but. I assume that there are ways of finding out who you are. What you've got an assume that also that your general practitioner how to battling those are the sorts of things that are not entirely clear how people will be identified individually so the scale of vaccinating an entire country even with a relatively small population like ustralia is a messy. Ask so we heard last week will health organization expert advisor from the university of new south. Wales mary louise mc laws saying that. We're going to need to vaccinate something like one hundred ninety thousand people per day to get to the targets that have been set for october this year. Is that going to be feasible. Well low to middle income countries do mass vaccination programmes all the time but they do frequently in fact some some would say that. They're better equipped than many advanced countries richer countries to do this and we've had a rabies outbreak through extraordinary numbers very quickly and and so you can get large venues with nurses factory. Like processes logistic simplified dines. It's all there and people head for mass vaccination areas. You can actually get through very large numbers very quickly if you need to you so those numbers are not impossible. But they are hard to achieve. It's gonna take a ramp up so we're going to start off slow and then ramp up from there. The rate limiting step is actually going to be the supply of vaccines. Are we going to have seven. Hundred thousand dozes available a week and it's going to take a while to to that point so i think that's the issue rob van. Can we administer those vaccines. i mean. Interestingly we do fifty to sixty thousand covid tests a day nationally at the moment perhaps a similar framework could be used to roll out the vaccines. Yeah i think they are thinking of respiratory clinics that model being used as well with the drive through with the general general practitioners which was very useful as well as public hospitals providing those sort of drive through facilities as well. You can get through very large numbers. You just go to have accused people ready together. You've got to have the supply. You gotta have the cold chain and you've got to be computerized so that you can enter people's names into the register and you've got to somewhere where you can keep them for fifteen minutes and then observe them with resuscitation facilities so it's not a simple as during the

Hidcote: Behind glass at the plant shelter

"Here though to talk about the plant shelter. Which is the domain. Where i am sure. Many of my listeners would be heading. I as enthusiasts of plants behind glass. They is far grander. I'm sure than anything that i can offer in my own. My own discard. And how big is the plot shelter in. What kind of things are in there. The plan shelter as off the top of my head about thirty meters boy. Five or six meters. It's made range runs from east to west and it has glass on this southern front but it has a solid war on the back on the northern the northern aspect. Well sounds perfect for so many plants. i bet it's a nice place to retire to Chillier days just fine things go and do the plant shelter for the weather's terrible. It's definitely one that you don't need to draw. Draw zone when when the opportunity presents itself. It's a love space nicely protected but is a particularly interesting sort of structure in itself in that it was designed. I imagine boy johnson himself. He had studied architecture in america before he came here and the front the south front that is laced actually can be removed and so becomes as who came out the garden rooms. It becomes another room in the garden during the summertime because it has that kind of open aspects which we then plant very much on the front and we can bring pulse right to the front of it said that their cascading out into the garden sound school just and is everything in pots or in bed. Is the beds in there as well. Yeah there are some beds. Although i think the foundations of seat to some extent contain those beds. But there's also a lot of pulse helps us with displays in terms and be able to move things around as things sort of off lowering. We're looking their best. What's looking good right now. We're now recording in the start of february. Yeah there's there's not a huge amount. We have done some work in that recently. A one thing that is actually incredibly striking is the halden. Bogia via lacy is just so vivid in its color it's Pending racine purple flowers just over at the moment that they're looking spectacular is not a big plant in bed. Or it's been trained up one of the pillars so Once we get to the summertime in glazed fronts komo fits sort of does a bit of both This evergreen climber that's twenty is way the pillar and we do 'em Holiday cuts on nas jay. So it's it's still making its way back up. The pillar feel like but still looking stunning and as flowering really well. Is that one of the challenges of an environment protected environment like that. I'm thinking back to my rhs level to hear protected environments of the challenge of overprotected environment. That you know things grow so well that you do need to hack them back a bit. I occasionally and get things back under control. Because you've got a limited space you've got to form that this not movable and even though you can take the front off in the summer there's only so much space yes. A number of climates make their way to the top instead of seemed to feel like they'd be better outside but identity then would think that when they get to the cold weather in the winter but things the jasmine which eater has incredible heady sent in the middle of summer is is amazing but was a real tyrant this year because it had gone way over the top of pillows and then it just created this mass which we then found a pigeon nesting in an embarrassing say. Do try and keep things a little bit more in control and we run that balance. All the time johnson was at an incredible plants person and he would have wanted to have filled it with with every innumerable varieties of plants. And we want to do the same but you will say well to be able to call them well and encouraged to grow in in the way that we can look off them so that they're not making Plant health problem than not to the harboring disease. All about or anything like

Liverpool hit their stride in victory at Tottenham

"Six place firs hosting fifth-placed liverpool and this match did not disappoint liverpool running out three one winners for me. no alexander. Arnold monitor the scores for liverpool hoi with a brilliant goal for spurs but that's all they could muster liverpool then move into fourth jump west ham. Four points off the league lead spurs sitting six eight points behind league leaders manchester city. Steve nicol shocker. His life jurgen klinsmann with us tv. How good we're liverpool. Today i think on the team were there. Were excellent. you talk about open attack football. That's exactly what you go. You talk about creating chances. That's what you saw you got. Three goals disallowed and you other opportunities that maybe could have made this school lane way. Bigger than actually funny stop is with your first and six choice a box and then james melda then five year old. He's probably fourth choice in the middle of the park. I mean what performance really to dispose and play the way they did School the goal fantastic performance. You're going to attack has been slipping of late liverpool. What was the difference in this one. Well the defense was Liberal group created more chances and finish them off as well. I mean who who knows what would have happened. If someone's goal in the third minute would have been a regular goal by divorce rightfully so it was disallowed. But if that would have been the lead for spurs maybe different story. But i think than liverpool really controlled the game Scarlet three beautiful goals. Even if you know part A spurs pack but they never created enough throughout the ninety minutes. It was obviously a big blow to lose hurricane at halftime if injury again so deserved victory from liverpool cobble of outstanding performances from their side. I look at Tiago first and foremost he played an incredible game and obviously they have their strike spec scoring going forward shock. Oh what are you. Come away from this match. More impressed with what liverpool did or disappointed in spurs performance impressive what liverpool dead given given the issues that liverpool had come into the coming into this one as tv rightly pointed out. But at the same time. Don't don't let that disguises five. That i am hugely disappointed with so much about spurs on the performance today against this liverpool team who you know kind of makes if the time i thought spruce threatened to dominate the midfield. Because never pool. Don't have any real Baldwin's in their own midfield as as always with sonnen key and In they're talking line. They looked so bad on the counter attack. Key don't missy has to come off but then you look at what liverpool dead or semi spinach allowed them to do and the buildup to the first on robinson is allowed ten yards into the swiss hard before anybody thinks about getting clueless to picks out the pasta. The one player who's been running behind them all game long. And then it's a defensive mystique by dial for the second goal. Laurie should have done better tough but he wrote on should have done better And in the end despite the fact that maybe you can Yourself with the fact that he three goals three defensive mistakes liverpool despite all issues were by far the best team. You're gonna any issues. The spurs approach sounded well in all. They obviously almost called the goal. It was allowed for for someone. But then throughout the entire game that didn't create create enough hurricane until he obviously was subdued then because of the injury Was never really into the game. And it's it's just simply not enough liverpool. Look like they could score. You know every minute. I mean we had a couple of opportunities already in the first half and Obviously when you didn't have individual mistakes can happen in philly especially in the first two roles then You really look bad at the end of the day. Stevie i suppose proof today the an order for them to win games. They can't go to over the proper football team and we can't in utah men behind the ball. Then they can do that and it can break on you. But this became an open game and can't do an and jozies komo after the game and pretty much has not had one world appraiser liverpool only said is all the mistakes they made. Well let's say the mistakes and made is because of the pressure would because they were so open that the defenders can't handle it and liverpool school goals so listen supposed to meet today proved exactly what thought torty taw against the proper team. Not good enough. They have they have to sit down with the ball and try and be clever and get on the attack.
