And there was a 13 year old boy and a girl, apparently on the ice. He couldn't locate the girl. He was able to free himself. Divers ultimately pulled the girl from the lake around 11 P.m.. And she died of her injuries, but a police officer who responded also went into the water trying to save them. On. They were unable to resuscitate him as well. So I mean, honestly. Showed up and tried to do his duty and officer Jason Loge or was his name. Um And, you know, said that's sad. But again, these are these are heroes, right? We know that

that with doctor Neil Anderson in immunology specialist said wash you and Barnes Jewish hospital decorators and are you doing any studying of anybody's there so we currently are either awaiting different assets that are commercially available and we are potentially looking at implementing some antibody testing locally however at this time we're in the evaluation phase doctor Anderson in the perfect world how will anti body testing the use well and that's a that's a great question it really depends on the pathogen what we know about the pathogen in the perfect world what I would like to see is I would like to see more data on what exactly it means to be antibody positive once we figure out what exactly it means to be antibody positive then we know how to use these better it could be the antibody positive means immunity in which case they would be safe to use that way however it could be that antibody positive doesn't mean you're immune it might just be a marker that you've been exposed so so it really we are in a perfect world I'd like to see more data and then evidence based approaches to how these are going to be used I know I heard from a couple people say I can't wait to get an antibody test on me so I can see whether I've had it or not and then I can relax it will ever be the case well I think what a lot of people need to keep in mind is that because there's so many tests out there and they have such a variable performance if you could be negative and have been exposed or you could be positive and you were never exposed so yeah I think people looking to these tests as a way of providing peace of mind it actually could cause the office said it could give you a mistaken impression that you either were or were not exposed so you know did to those those people who are waiting for an antibody test and very excited about it I I I just want to make sure that we have appropriately tempered expectations about the performance of these tasks and how long do you think it'll be before we get some answers that are solid on this well that's a great question and I think it's going to take quite some time I I you know I I would say in the next few months we will be seeing a lot more data about the antibody tests they have just become available so it takes time to actually have these tests being routinely used before we're able to figure out yeah this the positive means that's our positive doesn't mean that so potentially you know we're looking at weeks to months here we'll have more with doctor Anderson coming up at eight twenty a downtown Saint Louis
